    Getsu City/Bishoujo City, Getsu

Getsu City, also known as Bishoujo city, is a large city on Getsu Island. It is one of the largest islands in the world. Being that it is in the North Pacific Ocean, the dominant culture on this island is Japanese, with a slight American influence in the fashion sense and food culture, and a higher population of foreigners than Japan. On first glance it looks like a calmer version of Tokyo and New York City, but it's much more spacious. It is also the home of the Elite Magical Girl Academy, which is hidden away on the outskirts of Getsu City.

The farther you go out from Getsu City, the more green you'll begin to see. There are plenty of farms, villages, and beautiful beaches once you leave Getsu City. Unfortunately, the countryside can be even more dangerous than the city, with Youma hiding in the surrounding forests and often attacking small villages freely. It is where ancient, rare Youma are said to hide.

    On Campus Locations
Note: Try not to have too many character's congregrating in the same area! :) These spots are mostly for character socialization, but may become key points in the rp at some point.

House A - Living quarters for some of the students.
House B - Also a living quarters for some of the students.
Main Building - Where the classrooms and faculty dorms are located.
Library - A large library where girls can find books on just about anything magical girl related or not.

Rooftop - The rooftop of the main building.
Stables and barn - Place where horses and other animals are kept.
Dining Hall - Place to eat.

Tennis Court - Near the courtyard, behind a gate with bleachers for onlookers.
Greenhouse - A decent sized greenhouse for those with a green thumb.
Bath House - For baths. Also has showers.

Training Room - Magical Girl Simulation room.( Max: 2-4 Players at a time.)

    Off Campus
Note: These places only become available after classes.

    Wacdonalds - American fast food.
Bishoujo Bistro - Cute cafe place themed around magical girls.
Getsu's Comic Store - Three tier store that sells Video Games, Comics and Manga, Board games, and also card games. Plus other niche stuff that would fall in the geeky category.
Magical Girl Museum - A small museum full of magical girl and Youma artifacts. Mainly calcified heartstones and magical girl weapons.

Getsu Lake - Getsu's largest lake. Out in the country.
Getsu Temple - A large temple nestled in the city. Open for blessings and prayers. Also home to a lot of festivals.
Spiral Heart - A giant ferris wheel in the heart of the city. Arguable the largest ferris wheel in the world.

  • Posting Rules
    1. When posting, use your character's name as a header and their location.
    2. During battles, do not autohit NPCs. This includes Youma and Magical Girl.
    3. No metagaming or Godmodding, at all. If you have permission to do so from the Player, then this is fine.
    4. No collaborative posts, unless two characters are on a date , or something similar and there is no risk of another being around.
    5. If you are inactive without word for two weeks, then you will be dropped and your character will be taken control of by me. Posting IC means you agree to this rule.
    6. No sex scenes within the IC thread. And definitely no sex scenes with people not in your age range.
    7. Intermediate writing standards are expected in this rp, and I will accept no less than a paragraph(5-7 sentences) for IC posts.

    Combat Rules
    1. No Auto-hitting or taking control of a Youma. This is mainly for plot purposes. If you were to take control of one of the enemies this may be interrupt plots or ideas we have in mind. Also to keep the fights balanced and to make sure everyone gets their fair share of butt-kicking from the Youma. You are welcome to direct a hit at a Youma, but do not say the attack has landed, until the person controlling the Youma acknowledges it as fact. Youma Players reserve the right to say a Youma's attack has landed on a character, to kidnap players, or anything else that enemy characters may do. This is, again, for plot purposes. Rest assured we won't ever inflict fatal wounds on your character without your consent, and if we plan to
kidnap or do anything similar to your character we may inform you first depending.

    2. Be reasonable. If your character has already used a couple of attacks that require a decent amount of power or more advanced utility skills it will show. Their energy is not infinite. I'm going to give people freedom to pick their skills and attempt to dodge/evade/attack, but ultimately whether something affects the Youma is up to
the Youma player to keep things fun, fresh, and fair.

    3. The first time you use one of your character's spells, please provide a description of what it does in your post, or include it in a spoiler tag. This will make things easier on everyone, especially the Youma players.

Samantha – Team Purple – Mountain pass.

Cordiculya had continued to run, even as her commands were being executed, mind straining as it sent multiple orders to different knights all while trying to keep her legs moving. She was working almost purely by instinct; even if this attack failed, she had to get closer. She knew that she didn't have a plan at this point, and that if she lost her knights now it would insure her death, but she refused to abandon Kano. Putting on another burst of speed, Cordiculya rushed forward while praying that this would all work out.

When her attack actually did work, however, Cordiculya was almost as shocked as the Youma.

The half-human, half-Youma staggered for a second, her stone assailants completely still now that their orders had been completed. Cordiculya stared wide eyed as Shiko took one step back, and then another, before finally falling backwards. Only as her body hit the cold stone of the mountain did the old priestess finally expire.

Holding on for another few seconds, just enough to check if the damage had stuck, Cordiculya had finally relented. Falling forward with grunt, she landed in an undignified heap at the same moment her knights vanished from existence. Panting both from the run and from the fact she finally felt like she could actually breathe again, Cordiculya rolled over onto her back as she raised a hand to her head. In addition to the thumping headache battering her skull and the sweat that clung to her forehead, Cordiculya only just became aware of the fact that her crown had vacated its usual perch at some point.

Pulling herself unsteadily to her feet, Cordiculya looked around in a daze as she tried to locate her crown while also not looking at the disintegrating body of the Youma. Unfortunately, it appeared that said crown had dropped off her head as she had ran past the unmoving body of Aki, since it rested only a few feet from her prone form.

Swallowing thickly, the princess magical girl shakily moved to pick up the headwear, all the while trying to get her mind in order.

Cordiculya was beginning to regret that she could 'feel' all of her creations, even if only on a subconscious level: she had felt a nauseating wave of sensations when her lances had pierced through Shiko's flesh. While she couldn't fully perceive the feeling, she could almost swear that she had sensed the skin and muscle part around the blades of the lances right on the edge of her perception. Considering that she already felt like she needed to retreat back her home, bury herself in her mother's arms and cry out all the horrible emotions that swirled around her stomach, that kind of feeling wasn't exactly helping matters.

"Good job, Princess."

Kano's voice yanked Cordiculya back to reality, and she blinked as it became clear she had wandered back over to where Kano and Angela were gathering without realizing it.

"I…yea…" Was all Cordiculya could manage. In all honesty, nothing about this situation felt 'good' right now.

The three remaining members of Team Purple gathered together before the body of Shiko. As the body of the priestess began to fade away, Cordiculya noted that the woman had what could have been a smile on her face. The magical girl wondered if, untransformed as she was, Shiko had finally found peace. Maybe her soul had remained intact, and could one day find her sister in whatever afterlife awaited.

More pressing, however, was the calcified Heartstone that had been left behind. Cordiculya gulped nervously at the sight of the twisted stone, veins of an angry red light pulsing from its depths. Her mother had warned her that the stones would look intimidating, but she hadn't expected it to be this imposing.

"Do...either of you want to pick that thing up?"

"W-well, I guess I should. You know, as the team captain." Cordiculya eventually with no small amount of reluctance, the sweat from her palms making her gloves almost slick from the mere thought of touching the stone. Deciding that the indirect approach was definitely the best, Cordiculya brought a knight into existence, and mentally ordered it to pick up the pulsing object.

The knight's gauntleted, stone hand came within inches of what remained of the Youma's corruption, before stopping completely.

Making a confused noise at the back of her throat, Cordiculya reiterated her command. The knight's hand moved a few more centimetres, before once again stopping entirely. Growling, Cordiculya outright shouted the order to 'move!' but the stone being didn't even bother to put up a token effort. Cordiculya threw her hands up with frustration, before locking her gaze with Shiko's Heartstone. Was its influence strong enough that the animated hand of Cordiculya's knights couldn't touch it? Were Youma really so insurmountable that even the lingering will of their corrupt essence refused to be denied? Maybe Shiko's was slightly different to the usual cases, since she hadn't fully transformed by the time she had passed on?

Dismissing her knight, Cordiculya rubbed her eye lids with both of her hands. Steeling herself, she finally squared her shoulders, and crouched down. Reaching forward, she felt her heart perform a nervous flip as her hand reached towards the dark rock. Pausing for a moment, Cordiculya rooted around in the folds of her dress until she pulled out a handkerchief, and then finally picked up the stone.

Holding the calcified Heartstone felt…odd. The stone was not heavy; it was kind of weighty, but it was not a heavy object. It did, however, send pins and needles all the way up to her shoulder, even as she held it at arm's length and partially wrapped in her silk handkerchief. It also felt unpleasant to the touch, like it just wouldn't fit into her grip no matter how she held it.

"Let's get this back to the academy, they'll know what we need to do with it." Cordiculya nodded, before looking over her shoulder, her expression falling. "We'll…also have to carry…"

Aki's hair moved slightly, as the wind gentle blew over the otherwise completely still girl. Even now, as she was looking at the undisputable fact of it, Cordiculya couldn't believe that Aki was actually gone. She wouldn't lie and say she had been particularly close to the other girl, but Cordiculya's heart still ached. What was the academy even going to tell her family…?

Cordiculya wasn't even sure how she herself felt. Sad for Aki's death? Relieved that things hadn't been worse? Disappointed that she, the team leader, had let this happen in the first place? It all jumbled together in her core, and all she really could 100% confirm was that she felt exhausted. But she couldn't rest just yet, she needed to summon a knight to take Aki…
…No, no, she didn't have the heart for it: to summon a cold, unfeeling knight to carry the poor girl away just felt…off.

"I…I'm sorry," Cordiculya averted her eyes, looking down at her own two feet with shame. "But if you could both permit your team leader a moment of weakness, I don't think I can summon a sentinel to carry…to move…"

She trailed off.

Pfft.

Some team leader…

"…I will summon us some transportation, when we return to the village." Cordiculya eventually nodded, still gingerly holding the calcified Heartstone. "It will be a slower trip, but we won't have to worry about space or seating."

She could do that much, at least.

Mina Strand - Elite Academy Orchard

Once they had safely arrived, Mina also dropped her transformation, and breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I'm glad we're all still in one piece," she said. "That was a hell of a fight we had to run through, there." She was clearly still pretty happy about the whole thing. Nothing quite got her blood up like a good match, even if this one might have been a bit more risky than most.

She didn't seem quite so beaten up or...drained as she was earlier. "Think that'll be enough to wake her up," she asked Miyuki. "Don't sleeping beauties usually require a kiss?" Although her tone was suggestive, it wasn't particularly eager, either. But someone could certainly try it.

Carmen managed to make it back to the transport van without further harassment. She started up the engine and drove back to Elite, tears streaming down her face. She didn't know what she had expected from her first fight against a Youma, but it wasn't... this.

She pulled up at the school's front entrance, and as she expected, the entire faculty was out front to welcome the students back from their missions. They didn't need to ask how things went; Carmen's dejected expression told the tale.

"And their Heartstones?" someone in the back asked. Carmen's face fell further. She hadn't even been able to do right by her teammates; hadn't been able to prevent them from becoming monsters. There was no other way to put it. She had failed utterly and completely as a magical girl.

Kokuyo Kano - Mountain Path ---> Mountain Village
Kano watched her teammates carefully. It was easy to see that Cordiculya was the most bothered by what had just transpired. Her eyes glanced down to the still body of Aki and Kano frowned, furrowing her brow before kneeling down and closing the girl's eyes. She was tired. The fight had taken more out of her than she'd expected, and she'd already expected to be more than difficult with her handicap. Still, she had enough strength to carry Kireina back down to the village. They shouldn't leave her alone on the path.

"I can carry her." Kano said calmly as she folded Aki's arms over her stomach before lifting her bridal style. Aki was heavier than she thought, but then again, she was dead weight, literally. Kano tried not to think about the fact that she was dead, but it was hard not to. Still, she steeled her nerves and kept her head up. "We should get going and let them know the Youma is taken care of."

The brunette didn't look at Cordiculya or Angela as she walked past them, she was focused on making it back to the village so the princess could get them better transportation. Her muscles ached with every step and carrying Aki wasn't easy, but Kano wasn't going to show she was hurt. The pressure the beads had been putting on her was immense and she was sure that if Cordiculya's knights hadn't intervened she would've had broken bones, or worse. Still, what it had done was leave her arms and torso sore, so much so, that breathing pained her.

"I don't know what you had in mind for transportation, Culy," Kano said over her shoulder as she continued down the path towards the village. "But if it could be ready as soon as we get to the village, that would be great."

Farm → Train → Another train → Bus → Final Destination: Elite Academy!
Tag: Caracara @becna

It was, quite honestly, her own fault she was late for the start of school. But Ce simply could not have left knowing their latest visitors were sick. She simply had to go deep in the forest to "gather the right herbs," which was to say she transformed and grew the right herbs. And then she'd trekked back to make a concoction to give to the couple. Granted, it was one of those herbal drinks her mother had raised her on, and she wasn't really sure if it had any medical benefits, but it was better than doing nothing.

Besides, the important thing was that she got to school, on time or not. Although, her delay had caused her parents to briefly entertain the possibility this meant she would stay at home. On the farm. What a ridiculous thought. They had never been the biggest fans of the whole magical girl development part of her life, and if their daughter was finding excuses to not return to the academy, who were they to stop her? They more than fully supported that decision.

Still, not happening.

So it was half a day later than Ce had expected to leave that she actually set off with her single duffle slung over her shoulder for the train station, just barely in time to catch the last ride of the day. After a bus transfer to the school, she'd get there a little after dinner, which wasn't great, but she expected to get a full night's rest before their first assignment.

The only problem was that the universe was conspiring against her. A few stops in, the train had stopped for emergency track maintenance. But just as Ce couldn't have sat by doing nothing when there were two sick visitors, she couldn't sit still just because the train was. She hopped off the train -- as so many others had, though they simply waited around the train stretching their legs -- wandered off where no one could see her, and for the second time that day, transformed. Her heartstone came forth, sprouting vines that snaked around her, wrapping her body in spirals before burning away in a glow of energy, leaving her in her petalled dress. (That an acorn could sprout vines, and that a flowerless vine could produce a dress made of a flower was a curiosity that Ce both thought a lot and worried not at all about.) She wasted no time after that summoning a Parachute Seed, snagging up her duffle again, and grabbing the seed's shaft with an aim for campus.

Except, of course, the wind wasn't exactly going in the right way. But only gently so. Soft enough, she figured she could let the wind keep her light and afloat while she used the vines to pull her the right way. Naturally, before she could get her first anchoring shot out, a strong gust hit her, causing her to shift her focus to simply holding on, which in turn caused the vines to anchor her to the seed and wherever it was headed rather than the ground. By the time she had recovered her wits enough to consider using her vines to ground herself, she was hovering one town further from campus than where she had started the journey, where no trains would run until the next day. And there was no saying she'd be able to get back to the train before it left either. In retrospect, she should have stayed put while they fixed the tracks, perhaps slept some there to make up for the fact she wouldn't be getting nearly enough rest before their first mission at this rate.

Well, at least she had her duffle to serve as a pillow.

Ce alighted on a rooftop, reversing the transformation, boots reappearing on her feet, and scrambled as quietly as she could down the fire escape. She located herself a bed for the night (a bench right outside the train station), a blanket (her only other jacket), and of course a body pillow (fluffed up remainder of her duffle). Her bottom still suffered the cold hard bench.

Midway through the night, she awoke with a start, realizing she probably should have called home or the school, but her phone's battery was dead.

The next day went much better. Ce woke to the sounds of the first train pulling into the station, refreshed, somehow, despite the rough night. It was with a relieved sigh (and a strong wish that there would be no further hiccups) that she boarded. The prayer must have worked because the transfer to the bus was smooth, too, and she actually made it to Elite, arriving just as the first girls were getting back from their missions. Yet another reminder that she was late. It was still hard to believe she had actually missed the first Youma battles of the year.

The least she could do, she figured, was greet her yearmates. Ce dropped her duffle off (behind a bush outside the dorms because she really didn't want to have to deal with consequences of tardiness yet), and headed back to the front in time to catch a mount (or rather, not quite a mount) being ridden in hard with far too many arms dangling freely. She thought she recognized the rider through the blood splatters from the hallways of last year, but before a name could spring forth in her mind, Ce had already rushed forward to help.

"You're back," she called in welcome, trying to keep a handle on her awe and fear or whatever it was uncurling in her stomach. "Let me help you with -- with them," she added, reaching out a hand. And because she could never, never stop herself, she had to ask, "What happened?"

Xiomara Jimenez → Caracara

Caracara had been in a daze since she'd left the pier. Civilians had gaped, even pointed openly and shrieked at the bloody display paraded down the main roads toward the academy but she didn't notice one iota. The mount running on her magic thankfully knew the way back to campus without being actively directed, as she barely noticed the journey. As they clattered into the courtyard one of her classmates rushed forward to help, and she finally realized they had arrived home.

Xiomara kept up her transformation until her three companions were laid out on the ground, then ended it instantly, dropping beside them in a heap when the mount disappeared from beneath her. She began to shiver as she knelt on the ground, not looking up at Ce. "The Youma was strong and... I don't know what happened it went so fast..." Tears stream down her cheeks and her breath comes in ragged gasps. She covers her head and neck with her hands, one still tightly clutching the calcified heartstone of the defeated demon.

Xi stumbles back up, trying to pull herself together but not doing a thorough job. Xiomara focus on Ce, and despite the fact that they'd said all of 5 words to each other before today throws herself against the other girl, weeping bitter tears for her fallen friends. "No es justo..." she whispered into Ce's shoulder. "What are their families going to do? What am I going to do?"

Angela Christie
Homeward Bound . . .
Or not . . . ?

The walk back to the village was mostly filled with silence. Nobody was really willing to speak up, though about halfway back, Angela noticed something odd about Sammy: she was visibly exhausted, and it looked like she was having trouble keeping "Cordiculya" active. Of the three, Samantha had expended the most energy and had reacted the worst to Aki's death, so all things considered, it made sense that she'd be virtually exhausted by this point. "If you can't muster the energy to get us back to the academy, I don't mind calling for a ride," she said to Samantha. "Though, eh, I'll have to borrow your phone. I left mine on the charger." She conjured the mask that was intended to hide her identity to instead hide the luminescent blush spreading across her cheeks.

"Oh, and don't mind if it's locked. Phones tend not to be very bright when I talk to them." She was referring to one of her utility spells; specifically, the one that allowed her to talk to computers. Almost any electrical gadget had some kind of rudimentary AI to run its programs, and the "cleverness" of those AIs tended to vary. Angela rated smartphone AIs at a generous 3 out of 10, largely in part due to "hive minds" developing from so many apps. Trivial, if you asked her. But ultimately irrelevant, and she wasn't one to frustrate people with details, anyway.

With all that in mind, she quickly snatched up the offered phone, dialed in the number for the school, and quickly reported that Purple Team had completed their mission, with one casualty, and needed a ride back to the school since their ride from the school had run out of energy. Thankfully, they were willing to provide. "The school offered up a van for our ride home," she explained, giving Samantha her phone back. "It should be there by the time we get back to the village."

Sure, her first fight against a Youma was hell on Earth, but at least Carmen had company in misery. She'd known Ce well from her days in the classroom, and now, Xio seemed to have been part of a failed mission, too.

"I know the feeling too damn well, Xio. It was a plant Youma, a huge one. We never stood a chance, and I doubt we would have even with a teacher. I had to leave my teammates behind to save myself; they're probably Youma themselves by now. I couldn't even do right by their corpses." A tear fell down the big girl's cheek. "I keep telling myself to be strong, but how can I? I failed, that's all there is to it."

Xi turned from Ce at Carmen's voice and saw her tear stained face. Despite the fact that Carmen had almost exactly a foot of height on her, Xiomara pulled her into a tight embrace, still shivering violently. She's about to search for for some comforting words when Carmen says that she had to leave her companions behind.

Xiomara takes several steps back, her eyes filled with an almost manic intensity. "We should return for them!" She cried, gripping Ce and Carmen's arms tightly. "Together I'm sure we can help you return them to school. We can't leave a friend behind, no one gets left behind..." Still muttering to herself, she took several steps away from the two other girls and help up her heartstone. A flash of light surrounded her body, and the fluttering of wings can be heard throughout the courtyard.

Caracara stands before them transformed, and summons her ghostly mount. She's obviously exhausted, her eyes bleary and hands still trembling. "Come!" She cries to them, "We will return there and and bring your friends back, dead or alive. I will help you."

Everything was like a dream to Ava-Rose. Still unconscious; not even realizing that she had been moved and was soaring through the air with the other members of the Pink Team. Though she would never probably say it, she would feel grateful that the other girls didn't leave her to wake up alone and terrified in the crumpled basement of the hospital. Her pride and attitude would not let her show any gratitude towards the other girls. Even if they were the ones that took her back to the school; in her knocked out state.

She was starting to become conscious again. Hearing a sweet voice next to her and than something or someone poking at her nose. "If you touch me again... I will have you fired." Still dreaming about whatever was going on in her head. Probably about some fancy restaurant and cursing out a waiter for bumping into her. A common dream of her's. Shaking her head back and forth and fluttering her eyes open a little. When she heard someone else say something about a kiss needed to happen to wake her up, she sat straight up and had daggers for all three girls in her eyes. "I am a lady... I don't kiss before the first date." Laughing to herself, as she stood up. Cleaning herself off.

A little out of it still, but regaining her mind and body shortly afterwards. "Well... that was just soo much fun." The girls had to wake her up, but they would probably be regretting now. "Please tell me you girls got the Youma?" Not paying attention to the heartstone that Charee was now in possession of. Folding her arms over her chest. "We did not do all of that for nothing; I hope."

"Ah." The sound escaped Ce, a little surprised that Xi had turned into her shoulder, though it made sense, she supposed. They had, after all, just laid out three of her friends. Ce reached an arm around, rubbing the other girl's back slightly. Words had never been her strong suit, not in situations like this.

"C-Carmen!" Her other classmate didn't look too well either, but at least knew what to say. And when Xi pulled the taller girl into a hug, Ce, too, reached out an arm in support. How was it possible that the first missions had gone so poorly?

And a plant Youma! The rest of what Carmen said about the strength of the Youma and her doubt about defeating it was lost on Ce. All she could think about was how she should have been there. Plants were her specialty, and what she'd thought yesterday about how it was only important that she got to school? She'd been wrong about that. If she'd only shown up to school on time, things would have been different. The small detail that she probably would have been assigned a different mission missed her entirely.

So when Xiomara offered action, Ce was more than ready to accept, not at all taking into calculation the fact that her two classmates were already winded. She was fresh, and she couldn't let a plant Youma ruin her friend like this, and that was what mattered. Her transformation was brief, rushed with a sense of urgency, not nearly as elaborate as it usually was. And when she was done, she, now as Sequoia, held out a hand to Carmen with the intent to help her classmate up onto Xi's ghostly steed before mounting herself.

"We can turn failure around," she said, almost giddy at the prospect despite the gloom around them, the tears that had just happened. "But you'll have to tell us what we'll face, where to go."

La Voisin to Charee Moreau - Pink Group - Elite Academy Courtyard

La Voisin took a second to watch the confetti of the paper butterfly flutter away, almost envious of how it danced with the wind now she was grounded. Focusing again, La Voisin saw that Papyra and Crimson Moon were leaving their magical forms and decided to follow suit, suddenly losing several inches. No longer could Charee see eye to eye with Ava or Mina, to her annoyance in the case of the former. Although right now Ava was much lower than Charee, laying down unconscious from the fight- but it didn't seem like it would stay that way for much longer, unfortunately. With the threat of a kiss Ava jolted awake, a deadly glare ready for her team-mates, and she soon stood up to tower above Charee. The brief satisfaction Charee had gotten from being taller than the Vice Queen was blown away, rather like the paper butterfly's confetti- Charee knew far more devious ways to look down on someone though. Closing her hand around the Youma's heartstone, Charee looked Ava straight in the eye with a disheartened face.

"I-I'm sorry, it took us everything just to get you and Papyra out of there alive... it seems your final blow wasn't quiet enough..."

Charee's voice trailed off, and a fake tear even began to well in her eye. And... this was distinctly not a feeling of satisfaction, no, instead instant guilt ran through Charee. Seriously, the poor girl had just awoken from using up all of her magical energy in a last ditch attempt to kill the Youma, and Charee wanted to prank her? Even if Ava's arrogant attitude deserved to be taken down a few pegs this was too much, at least by Charee's standards.

"Ah, that was a joke! A joke!" Charee blurted, words stumbling out after one another, "Y-you totally did it, you did an awesome job! Look, here, this is the heartstone." Charee opened her palm to reveal the heartstone to Ava.

Mina Strand - With Pink Team - Academy Orchard?

Mina just laughed a bit at the glare from her just-awakened teammate. "Just joking around," she said. "I don't think any of us count as a proper prince anyway." She rested her hands on the back of her head. "We're gonna have to be careful if you can push yourself that hard, though. Hell of an attack, but...hardly elegant to drop to the floor right after it." Not that she could always do much better. With the way her powers worked, it was pretty easy to bleed herself dry, and that could lead to problems. As long as she stayed transformed, she was...pretty sure she'd recover before it would kill her, even if she passed out from anemia. But she'd rather not see that happen.

Charee's act almost had Mina going, even if she knew exactly what happened. "It was so terrible," she chimed in, choking back tears of her own. Very emotional, or easy to manipulate, take your pick. She shaped up pretty quickly when Charee changed her tune. "Not the nicest joke to play, you know," she scolded the other girl, with a friendly tone. "Especially after you carried her out of there yourself."

"All bullshit aside, yeah, you got it. We totally kicked its ass, and all made it out in one piece. Pink team one, Youma zero." Mina's wide grin was almost infectious. "Guess we're one step closer to being fully-fledged magical girls."

Miss Airhart
Courtyard

On her way back to the orchards to meet with her team, Miss Airhart overheard a pair of three girls discussing leaving the campus to avenge their fallen teammates. She halted in her tracks, then slowly backed up with her arms folded and tucked underneath her bust. Miss Airhart's duty as a magical girl and a member of Elite was to stop students from making foolish choices, and that was what she fully intended to do. Of course when she saw the sadness on their faces, she couldn't come down as hard on them as she had intended.

Miss Airhart approached the trio, smiling. "I sure hope you ladies aren't planning to leave the school grounds in pursuit of a Youma," She said. "Because if you were, I'd have to report it to the headmistress." Miss Airhart placed a hand on Xiomara and Ce's shoulders, giving all three of them a serious look. "I'm sure right now it seems like a great idea, but you're not thinking clearly, and I assure you your teammates would not want this. They'd want you to survive and keep on fighting."

Aozora Miyuki
Orchards

Miyuki blushed a little at the mention of 'kiss', seeing as how she had received her very own just an hour ago. Platonic or not, that was sure to leave a mark on most girls. It wasn't long before Ava began to stir and talk in her sleep. Miyuki smirked, then poked her on the tip of the nose once more. Fired? Miyuki could only guess what a girl like Ava was dreaming about. She rolled her eyes playfully and stood up.

When Ava began questioning them about the Youma, Miyuki glanced away. She had a mind of her own to try and trick the Ice Queen into believing they had failed, and she was secretly overjoyed when Charee spoke up. Charee's delivery was much more believable. She frowned softly, shaking her head along with their little act. She could play along for as long as they wanted. It would only make their victory sweeter when Ava found out the truth.

Once Charee confessed the truth, Miyuki smiled brightly and nodded in agreement with Mina. "Yep. This is what sets us apart from the rest - Success." She said in a matter of fact way. She patted Ava on the back reassuringly, before a tiny little groan sounded from her stomach. Miyuki blushed with embarrassment, before laughing nervously. "Does anyone want to head to the dining hall with me? I can't be the only one who's starving after all that."

"Well, Miss Airhart, I admit I'm not thinking clearly, as you said. But I don't exactly think clearly at the best of times, so why should this be any different?" Carmen gave her most confident smile. "I know they would have done the same for me, so I owe it to them. It's my duty to bring them back with pure heartstones. Report me if you must, but you cannot stop me from doing something I feel is right." Her tone was quite clear, arguing against a stubborn girl like this was a fool's errand.

Caracara jumped at Miss Airhart's voice, not expecting a teach to get the jump on them. But then again she isn't firing on all cylinders. Her energy is rapidly fading, the cold pit in her stomach threatening to crawl up her throat and strangle her. Caracara wishes she could scream, shake her friends awake, do anything to change what had happened, but she is powerless.

She hunches her shoulder as a gentle hand is placed upon it, conflicted but desperate for some redemption. "It's not a revenge mission, Miss Airhart," Caracara looked up at the teacher, pleading with her eyes and tone, "It will be a rescue. We could save those who might still be alive! I promise we will not approach the Youma. Look," whistling shrilly, Caracara summons a crow that alights upon her shoulder, "I will ask my friend here to search for us. If he can see that the Youma is not nearby, we will save them."

Samantha – Purple Team – Mountain Pass

The walk back to the village was made in silence.

Cordiculya had only taken a few steps before the strain of her thumping headache reached critical mass, and the weakness in the ends of her limbs too great. A splutter of light transformed back into regular old Samantha, coughing as she only just noticed the slight thinning of the air. The girl ran a finger along the gem set into her hairpin, appreciating the subtle heat the Heartstone gave out after transformation. She took some level of comfort from the way it warmed the tips of her fingers, which had felt chilled by the cool mountain wind.

Samantha focused mostly on walking after that, trying to put her mind on anything but the disappointment that she hadn't even had the energy left to get her motley group back to the academy. Unfortunately, most other things that came to mind did nothing to ease her aching core.

Is this what her mother went through? To lose friends and comrades in the blink of an eye, to a creature that had been once very much like herself? Had she really spent years doing this kind of thing, and indeed continued to do so? How had Samantha's mother even kept her optimistic outlook?

Could Samantha really survive doing the same?

No point worrying about that now, they had to get off this mountain and back home first.

"The village elder will want to speak with us, no doubt." Samantha finally spoke up, sounding as tired as she felt. "We should at least have the good graces to accept the inevitable thanks."

She wasn't even sure what she was going to say: 'Hey, we just got finished slaying the monster that had once been the pride and joy of the village, have a good life'?

Samanath sighed. Getting frustrated wasn't going to help matters; they just had to confirm that their task was complete, and that the village would be safe from now on. In that regard they had at least been successful. Samantha glanced uneasily at Aki's body, still being carried by Kano, and lamented that the mission hadn't been more of a success…

…Aki's body…

"…Hey, thinking about it, weren't we warned that a Youma killing a magical girl could results in another Youma?" Samantha took a sudden step away from the unmoving body of the magical girl, eyes filling with fear. "Don't we need to- I-I don't know, do something to her Heartstone?"

Samanta wouldn't admit it, but she hadn't exactly been paying attention in class when they had talked about the matter, but she did remember hearing that magical girl's Heartstone were affected when their owners were slain by one of the corrupt Youma. The idea of fighting another monster so soon after the first was terrifying, especially if it was using Aki's body like a puppet.

Kokuyo Kano - Mountain Village -->Elite
It seemed like it took longer to get to the village than it actually had. Mainly because they were all spent and Kano was carrying some extra weight. When they entered the village, it didn't take long for people to notice them. Kano could hear them muttering as they passed through and she felt their eyes on her. Of course it would be hard not to stare when she's carrying a dead body. She tried not to pay attention to it. She kept walking as Angela called Elite for a ride back, and then of course she heard Samantha mention something about the village elder. Of course they needed to tell him the job was taken care of, but that wasn't going to be easy for them, especially since they'd had a casualty.

"You guys go ahead and speak with the elder. I'm going to go wait for the van." Kano muttered as she glanced down at Aki's body. It looked like she was just sleeping, peaceful and calm, but that wasn't the case. She cleared her throat again when Samantha mentioned Aki becoming a Youma. It was true that under certain circumstances, Magical Girls could become Youma once they were defeated by one, but Kano wasn't too worried about Aki's heartstone. "We have time to get her heartstone purified. I'm sure one of the professors will take care of it when we get back to school." The brunette didn't really wait around to hear any response from her teammates. She wasn't in the mood to speak to anyone while she was holding a dead body in her arms.

So she headed towards the entrance of the village, or at least where they had entered from. She was hoping that the van knew where to go and that it would be waiting, but it wasn't. It made sense, Angela had only called a few moments ago. Kano looked around and found a nearby tree that was offering a decent amount of shade. She walked over to it and gently laid Aki on the ground before sitting next to her, letting her back rest against the trunk. She found herself wondering if her mother would find out she went out on a hunt against her wishes, not that she really cared if she did.

A heavy sigh escaped Kano's lungs as she heard the sound of tires on the dirt road and looked up to see the black van pulling up with a vanity plate that said Elite. Two men stepped out of the van and one approached Kano while the other went to the back of the van. The brunette stood and dusted the dust from her pants as the man reached her. She looked past him and saw that the other had retrieved a gurney from the van and Kano frowned.

"Team Purple?" The man asked and Kano just nodded as they began to place Aki onto the gurney. Green eyes watched as they secured her and draped a large white sheet over her body before loading her back into the van. "Where is the rest of your team?" Kano just pointed towards the Elder's home and hoped they'd get the message, she didn't really feel like talking right now. So she walked past the man and opened the side door to the van before climbing in. It felt surprisingly good to sit down after being thrown into a mountain.

Tag: Caracara @becna, Carmen @daird, Miss Airhart @Sailor Moon

At Miss Airhart's touch, Sequoia looked away and dropped her proffered hand, not quite able to meet the teacher's look, especially since she could probably already count herself in trouble with the school for not arriving on time. It doubled as an opportunity to check how the other two were taking it. The answer? Well, it almost made her smile, to know Carmen was still the rock-hard stubborn girl Se knew her to be, that even though Carmen had returned empty-handed and defeated, she still believed together they could turn the situation around.

And Caracara -- Se had to admire the other girl's ability to attempt compromise, but like hell if Se was going to stand down in the face of a Youma. There was no way she was keeping the denial out of her eyes, though, so Sequoia kept her head down as Caracara made her plea. This was revenge, Caracara was wrong about that, but she was also right in that it wasn't about vengeance. This was about absolution.

But Se had a chance, too, and maybe together they could change Miss Airhart's mind. "This is how we keep on fighting," she added to their joint argument, careful to keep the half-lie alive that this wasn't about physically fighting but about keeping their spirits up even if it was entirely her intention to engage given the chance. "We bring them home."

And then in an almost inspired moment, she added, "They would not want to turn into Youma," to prove she had paid attention in class, that despite the break, Se was ready to face the problem from an academic standpoint. It just probably wasn't the smartest to turn a teacher's words against her meaning, but Se rarely thought before she spoke. That she didn't straight out declare Caracara's intent was not her own was more than she could usually say for herself.

Ava-Rose was not in the best of moods. When was she ever in a "good" mood? That was a question one would never have the right answer to. She folded her arms as her attention turned towards the baby of the group. Charee. Who once again looked like some lost toddler from Magic Girls Daycare. "What..." She couldn't believe what was coming out of the munchkin from hell's mouth. Her final attack wasn't enough? Yeah right! Her magic was perfectly strong enough to knock out a weak Youma. It was the other's girls fault if they didn't get the Youma and it's Heartstone. This was a joke! it just had to be. "Are you serious?" Looking at Mina and then at Miyuki. Then she heard the small girl's next set of words. It was a joke the entire time. And the other girls were in on it. Her face when deadly serious. "Really... really..." Rolling her eyes and flipping her pink hair over her shoulder, as she stared at the Heartstone. It was just like her mothers had told her. A beautiful and powerful object coming from such evil and darkness. "Wow..." She was impressed. It was hard to make the entitled Princess impressed with anything that didn't have to do with her, but the beautiful Heartstone did just that. Ava-Rose was barely listening to Mina's words as she stared at the Heartstone. Hearing only bits and pieces. Ignoring the entire thing about Charee or La Voisin at the time, being the one to carry her out. Even if she did hear it, she wouldn't have thanked the girl. Everyone knew that.

Even after finding out that the her attack did the job, she still didn't think the joke was all that funny. Letting it go only for now. "Wait till I get you three back for that little joke." Laughing. Though it wasn't a threat or a promise, to the others girls it would seem that way. Ava-Rose was very unpredictable at times and not being the most readable when it came to her emotions, it could be very hard to tell when she was just joking or when she was serious about getting back at anyone that dared to play a prank on her. A little neat trick she learned over the years of using her intelligence to get her way and tricking people into doing the things she wanted them to do. If Elite wasn't careful, they could be teaching the next biggest Supervillain of the world.

Turning to Miyuki. The only girl so far at Elite who seemed to slowly start to become her friend of sorts, the more time they were around one another. Ava-Rose held back a chuckle when she heard the small groan coming from the other girl's stomach. "Well, you probably are the hungriest out of us all, Miyuki." Giving her a pat on the back as well. "I could eat though. After that, I need SOMETHING to keep me from passing out again." Shaking her head, as she started walking in the Dining Hall's direction. She turned a head around for a second and looked at Mina. "And whoever said it had to be a prince's kiss that woke this princess up?" Winking over her shoulder as she turned back around. "Come on girls, let's go get our Victory Dinner."
