    Getsu City/Bishoujo City, Getsu

    Getsu City, also known as Bishoujo city, is a large city on Getsu Island. It is one of the largest islands in the world. Being that it is in the North Pacific Ocean, the dominant culture on this island is Japanese, with a slight American influence in the fashion sense and food culture, and a higher population of foreigners than Japan. On first glance it looks like a calmer version of Tokyo and New York City, but it's much more spacious. It is also the home of the Elite Magical Girl Academy, which is hidden away on the outskirts of Getsu City.

    The farther you go out from Getsu City, the more green you'll begin to see. There are plenty of farms, villages, and beautiful beaches once you leave Getsu City. Unfortunately, the countryside can be even more dangerous than the city, with Youma hiding in the surrounding forests and often attacking small villages freely. It is where ancient, rare Youma are said to hide.

    On Campus Locations
    Note: Try not to have too many character's congregrating in the same area! :) These spots are mostly for character socialization, but may become key points in the rp at some point.

    House A - Living quarters for some of the students.

    Rooftop - The rooftop of the main building.
    Stables and barn - Place where horses and other animals are kept.
    Dining Hall - Place to eat.

    In door swimming pool - A small swimming pool located near the dorm buildings.
    Courtyard - For outside celebrations, eating, lollygagging. Has a large fountain.
    Orchards - Apple orchards not too far from the main buildings, with a scenic trail.
    Studio - Equipped with a ballet barre, a piano, and a sound proof room in the back for practicing musicians.
    Volleyball net - A volleyball net off to the side of the pool with sand.
    Tennis Court - Near the courtyard, behind a gate with bleachers for onlookers.
    Greenhouse - A decent sized greenhouse for those with a green thumb.
    Bath House - For baths. Also has showers.

    Training Room - Magical Girl Simulation room.( Max: 2-4 Players at a time.)

    Off Campus
    Note: These places only become available after classes.

    Wacdonalds - American fast food.
    Bishoujo Bistro - Cute cafe place themed around magical girls.
    Getsu's Comic Store - Three tier store that sells Video Games, Comics and Manga, Board games, and also card games. Plus other niche stuff that would fall in the geeky category.
    Magical Girl Museum - A small museum full of magical girl and Youma artifacts. Mainly calcified heartstones and magical girl weapons.

    Getsu Lake - Getsu's largest lake. Out in the country.
    Getsu Temple - A large temple nestled in the city. Open for blessings and prayers. Also home to a lot of festivals.
    Spiral Heart - A giant ferris wheel in the heart of the city. Arguable the largest ferris wheel in the world.

  • Posting Rules
    1. When posting, use your character's name as a header and their location.
    2. During battles, do not autohit NPCs. This includes Youma and Magical Girl.
    3. No metagaming or Godmodding, at all. If you have permission to do so from the Player, then this is fine.
    4. No collaborative posts, unless two characters are on a date , or something similar and there is no risk of another being around.
    5. If you are inactive without word for two weeks, then you will be dropped and your character will be taken control of by me. Posting IC means you agree to this rule.
    6. No sex scenes within the IC thread. And definitely no sex scenes with people not in your age range.
    7. Intermediate writing standards are expected in this rp, and I will accept no less than a paragraph(5-7 sentences) for IC posts.

    Combat Rules
    1. No Auto-hitting or taking control of a Youma. This is mainly for plot purposes. If you were to take control of one of the enemies this may be interrupt plots or ideas we have in mind. Also to keep the fights balanced and to make sure everyone gets their fair share of butt-kicking from the Youma. You are welcome to direct a hit at a Youma, but do not say the attack has landed, until the person controlling the Youma acknowledges it as fact. Youma Players reserve the right to say a Youma's attack has landed on a character, to kidnap players, or anything else that enemy characters may do. This is, again, for plot purposes. Rest assured we won't ever inflict fatal wounds on your character without your consent, and if we plan to
    kidnap or do anything similar to your character we may inform you first depending.

    2. Be reasonable. If your character has already used a couple of attacks that require a decent amount of power or more advanced utility skills it will show. Their energy is not infinite. I'm going to give people freedom to pick their skills and attempt to dodge/evade/attack, but ultimately whether something affects the Youma is up to
    the Youma player to keep things fun, fresh, and fair.

    3. The first time you use one of your character's spells, please provide a description of what it does in your post, or include it in a spoiler tag. This will make things easier on everyone, especially the Youma players.

Kokuyo Kano -Dorms --> Dining Hall
@Shavynel @Sailor Moon

Kano listened to the girl's introduction and nodded in response. She must've been more aloof than she thought these past years not to notice someone who lived in the same house as she did, but that wasn't uncommon. After all, Kano wasn't the social type and kept to herself and her studies for the most part. Still, she felt the slightest pang of...guilt...for not recognizing anyone in her house by name. Of course she wasn't going to let Cecelia know this. Nor anyone else, for that matter.

"Kokuyo Kano, but just Kano." The brunette answered as they walked, eyes straight ahead instead of looking down at the girl walking next to her. She watched Ce's eyes glance down at her saber and she again, nodded when she was asked about the mission. "Yes, just got back actually, or maybe an hour or less ago. I don't really know how long I had been asleep." In reality, Kano could've kept sleeping. Not having transformed yet meant she didn't heal as fast as the other girls. What took days, or sometimes hours for Magical Girls to heal, took her weeks, sometimes months depending on the severity of the injury. Sleep was the only thing that seemed to speed up the process for the young Kokuyo.

"Don't be so down that you missed the first mission." Kano added as they reached the building the dining hall was in and she opened the door. There was another set she had to pass before the dining hall became visible. "It isn't what they make it seem. It's not easy, and it isn't pleasant." The taller girl pushed the door open and paused before entering. "One of my teammates died today, none of us were prepared and I don't think anything could've prepared us." Green eyes glanced back at Cecelia, a strange remorse filled Kano at that moment thinking about Aki. It was very unlike her and she tried not to show it too much by furrowing her brow and frowning. "So if I were you, I would take the time that you saved before the next hunt to train more."

Kano stepped through the door and into the dining hall at that point, not really waiting around for Cecelia's answer. Plus the fact that Kano didn't exactly feel like having any more conversations about their first mission. They didn't exactly pass with flying colors and she didn't want to dwell on that. The only thing she could keep thinking about was her mother before she left her home. Asking her, almost begging her not to go hunt Youma. Kano scowled, huffing softly as she tried to push the memory out as the smells of copious amounts of food wafted into her nose. Again, her stomach made itself known.

The girl didn't waste much time going over and grabbing a tray for herself. She grabbed the basic food groups, meat and potatoes, in the form of a burger and fries. She grabbed an apple as she passed the fruit, something remotely healthy. Kano turned then, looking out of the rows of tables and other Magical Girls. She recognized a few, saw Samantha talking to another girl she didn't know and sighed. It was too soon to see her teammates again. Kano still needed to decompress from them and what they'd gone through earlier that day. So she turned in the opposite direction and looked for an open spot. Unfortunately, there was only one spot that was open on that side of the hall, and it just so happened to be next to the white haired girl she'd met that lived on the same floor, Miyuki, if she remembered correctly.

Green eyes rolled when she saw the other girl she'd met, Ava...at least that's what she thought her name was. They were chatting and for a moment Kano thought of just leaving the dining hall and eating outside by herself, but then she thought about the muscle energy it would take to pick herself off of the ground. A heavy sigh escaped the brunette's lungs as she made her way over and set her tray down in the open spot next to Miyuki, not saying a word.

Natalya Sorrea

Siren

Location: Dining hall
Interactions: Kokuyo, Miyuki, Ava

Being the odd one out absolutely sucked. Natalya didn't plan on the late arrival, but her enrollment had been delayed for a considerable amount of time due to some legal issues-- None of which she'd go into detail of soon-- she had enough of a headache already.

Just like any other northern girl, food was the solution to all of her problems. As soon as her bags had been settled into her apparent dorm room, the young sorceress made a sharp b-line for the academy's mess hall. Shoving a door open, she panned her eyes over the large population of girls for the first time. No wonder the halls had been relatively empty; everyone was here, eating. Mostly everyone, at least.

For some unexplained reason, Natalya felt like she didn't fit in. She wasn't the type of girl to be all shy and introverted; In fact people usually caught note of her extroverted demeanor quickly because she wore her skirt up to her ass and her blouse was out of protocol by a button or two for some extra cleavage; but, something just really bugged her self esteem right now, and she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Shrugging it off, the starving young woman wasted no time in making the lunch line. She had anticipated she'd make some small talk with the other girls there, but to her surprise, her only conversation had been with the lunch lady. Needless to say, a quick 'thank you' ended the interaction after she recieved her tray of food.

Now came the real challenge, finding somewhere to sit. Many girls had already made their groups, and Natalya was, quite literally, a stranded sailor in an ocean. Alas, the storm finally cleared up when a random student got up and off from her seat, leaving a vacant spot. Natalya wasted no time in siezing the moment, headed right for the open seat.

As she walked, her small, gray backpack gently bounced over her back, decorated by the tips of her luscious pony tail. Natalya was the type of lady that walked with a mystic sway in her hips, and whether or not that was intention is truly unknown. Jamming a leg of roasted turkey into her mouth, she sat next to a distinct looking girl apparently named Ava-- Not that Natalya knew anyone's name yet..

She did not bother to adjust her skirt as she sat, taking on the cold metal seating with her bare thighs and butt as the rest of her skirt draped behind the stool. Yanking the turkey leg from her teeth, she chewed hungrily before swallowing, offering a short glance to Ava, the girl next to her, as well as Miyuki and and Kokuyo, the two girls sitting opposite to her. "Hi." She greeted simply, setting down her turkey leg, her other hand tinkering down to button up her blouse, hiding her saturated cleavage.

Miyuki Aozora
Dining Hall

Miyuki knew what she wanted for dinner, and so she wasted very little time in the lines deciding between the plethora of foods. With her tray in hand and the warm scent of curry beckoning her senses, Miyuki made her way to a table to have a seat. She glanced up when she heard Ava's voice. Not surprisingly, Ava was warding off another girl to steal her seat. Nothing her pink haired friend did seemed to faze Miyuki anymore. She barely spared the poor girl a second glance, her attention now on her friend.

"Hey, Ava," Miyuki greeted with a slight nod of her head. There was a small smirk on her lips from the odd choice of nickname Ava had picked for her, but Miyuki guessed that meant Ava officially considered her a friend. She could only rejoice in the fact that Ava didn't seem to dislike her. Miyuki's plan from the start wasn't to become best friends with anyone, but contrary to what she initially believed, having a friend at Elite never hurt anyone. She had earned a more than capable of ally, which is all she could have asked for.

With that thought in mind, Miyuki bobbed her head to the side with amusement. She split her wooden chopsticks cleanly, the little snap it made exciting her for that first bite of hot curry. She scooped a generous amount of rice and curry on her chopsticks, before shoveling it into her mouth. Her eyes suddenly went wide with pain, and possibly shock when the burning food landed on her tongue at the same time as when Ava asked about her kiss with Crimson Moon. Miyuki actually couldn't decide which was worse, the searing pain in her mouth or being asked about Mina in front of everyone at dinner time. The burnt tongue definitely made the whole situation seem more horrible than it actually was.

"Wha-" Miyuki began, before she actually swallowed her food. "What? Don't be ridiculous, Ava. We're just...partners. Well, not actual 'partners'... Teammates!" She defended in a hushed yell. She could feel the blood rushing to her face, her cheeks getting hot.

Miyuki was appalled that Ava Rose would even ask her such a thing, but she toned it down after Kano and another girl who looked like her chest was going to spill out of her blouse sat down near them. She cleared her throat discreetly, before turning her attention back to Ava, who was still being ridiculous."While I...can't deny that Crimson Moon is... kind of cute. We're practically strangers, so you'll have to hold out on your dreams of being my maid of honor anytime soon."

"Plus, who has time for romance? I'd rather be saving the world." Miyuki stated casually, though she still appeared quite flustered from Ava's teasing. She looked away from Ava, at Kano and the other girl. Miyuki felt inclined to say something to them since they had probably overheard a good portion of her conversation, but she felt as if she had said enough.

Kokuyo Kano - Dining Hall
@Sailor Moon @Mad King Jai @Nivi
Kano caught bits and pieces of the conversation as she ate her food and glanced in Miyuki's and Ava's direction. Another girl sat down next to Ava that the brunette didn't recognize, but what was new? She glanced up and made eye contact with the girl she'd never seen, before giving the rest of her attention to her food again. When she heard what Miyuki had said about another one of her teammates, Crimson Moon, she thought she heard her say, she chuckled softly before glancing at the white haired girl. A smirk growing on her lips as she ate a couple fries.

"So," Kano added as she turned back to her food nonchalantly. "You're attracted to women, Miyuki?" The brunette wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, and Miyuki had said she found Crimson Moon to be cute. Of course that didn't always mean that someone favored that particular sex. Still, she logged the information in her head for future reference. She also found it entertaining the way that Ava had been teasing Miyuki, it reminded her of how she picked on Samantha. Easy and satisfying, for some reason.

"I think I missed out on the important part of the story." Kokuyo added as she leaned over and glanced at Ava. "Would you mind filling me in?" This conversation would be much more enjoyable than discussing their first missions.

The reaction she got out of Miyuki was truly priceless. She didn't think her white-haired friend would get soo embarrassed because of a little playful teasing. The laughter that she tried to keep inside, just had to come out. Her giggles turning into full laughing and amusement. After taking a breath, she wiped the tear that came out of her right eye. "Oh my Gosh, relax." Shaking her head and looking at another girl that was coming there way. "Look who's back." She said in an extremely sarcastic tone of voice, as Kano took a seat next to Miyuki. The other girl she had met when she first arrived at the school for her third year. She had nearly forgotten that all three girls were in the same House. House B, or House Better. As she liked to call it. She wasn't really that excited about having the brunette over at the table; the girl didn't really mesh well with her.

Before Miyuki and Ava-Rose's conversation could be finished or added on and become even more humiliating for the white-haired girl of the duo, another girl came over. This one sat next to the pink-haired diva. Turning her head, gently caressing her pink hair and moving it to the side. To get a better view of just who exactly had the balls to sit next to her. Staring at the girl, who was dressed even more scandalous than Ava was. Now, the pink-haired girl wasn't the most modest of dressers, but for the Love of Good Fashion Sense, this girl took the cake and the cupcakes for trying to get expelled for having a wardrobe malfunction.

Nearly forgetting to say hi back. "Oh, where are my manners." Turning a bit to be face to face with the other girl. "Hi. I'm Ava-Rose, but you probably already knew that." Fluttering her eyelashes, in her very conceited manner. "Those girls right there." Pointing to Miyuki and than at Kano. "Are Miyuki, the one in love with Mina. The Groper of Elite. And the other girl." Rolling her eyes, making sure that Kano saw. "Is the Moody Brute of a Elite, Kano." Flipping her hair over her shoulder, once again. "And you must be new here. I would remember someone like you." It wasn't a compliment or a flirtatious statement. The girl sitting next to her, was definitely noticeable wherever she went. Maybe Ava-Rose could bring the new girl under her wing; teaching her how to look sexy but not slutty.

Hearing a voice on the other side of Miyuki, Ava-Rose turned to see Kano speaking to her. "Why are you soo interested about Miyuki's love life all of a sudden. Jealous?" Holding back a giggle, knowing that her white-haired friend would probably want to kill her right about now. "We were discussing how Miyuki and Mina had kissed... during our mission." Winking at her friend, before turning to the new girl. "Wait, where are you staying by the way? Which House, is what I mean."

Xiomara Jimenez → Caracara
Dining Hall → Courtyard
@Mundane Monster

Xi finally looked up at Renata when she touched her, and registered her sympathetic face. It brought her crumbling back to reality, and with eyes downcast she allowed Renata to pull her up. "I'm sorry," she repeated, "I don't know what I was thinking..." her voice shook as much as her hands and she tried her best to hide behind Renata, not wanting to traumatize anyone. She knew first hand it was an unpleasant experience. Xi gave her a wan smile at the mention of chocolate, and followed like a sleepwalker out the doors and into the courtyard.

"I'm in House B..." She pointed across the yard, trying to avoid the gaze of the girls still filtering into the dining hall but not quite succeeding. A crow descended from the sky and plopped onto her shoulder, letting out a croaking squak. Dully Xiomara reached into her pocket and dug out a cracker, which she handed to the mottled looking bird. Taking the treat he flew off into the treeline without a backward glance.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your dinner this way." Xiomara said, shoulders hunched and fingers trying to claw dried blood from her hair. "It's Renata, right? I think we had a class together first year..."

Natalya Sorrea

Location: Dining hall

For the most part, Natalya felt ignored to a certain degree-- She didn't blame the other girls, though. It's not every day a random young lady sits next to you, a chicken leg bolstered between her teeth. She had up until then simply enjoyed her meal quietly, listening in on the gossip that the others were so casually providing. That was until the apparent Diva, named Ava, took the courtesy to actually say something to her.

Having been caught off guard, Natalya rapidly craned her head to face Ava, the leg of roasted poultry once more clenched between her teeth. She made sure to chew and swallow modestly before speaking, bringing a certain napkin to her mouth so as to wipe her greasy lips. "Great to meet you, Ava. .. Rose." Natalya made sure to use the girl's proper name as she introduced her friends: A white-haired Miyuki, and the other one, Kano. "Hey all. I'm Natalya." She gave a short wave, having intended it to be a cute gesture as she threw in a casual but flirtatious half smile.

Just as she though her two seconds of fame had come to an end, Ava, her repeated savior, gave her some attention once again. Natalya did not hesitate in shuffling a finger between her cleavage, digging into her black lace bra. From her chest she produced a small, folded paper with scribbles. Uncrumpling the small piece of writing material, she gave it a quick glance over. "Ahuh.. House B, It think. Yep. Pretty sure that's a B." She crunched the paper and threw it back into her bra before glancing up at Ava, plucking a tater tot up from her tray and into her mouth.

Samantha – Dining hall

Samantha let out a mental squee of approval at Charee's flustered reaction. Samantha was convinced that the shorter girl must have been the purest, most kind-hearted and humble girls on the entire campus, and she wouldn't hear otherwise. (Admittedly, that was a flash judgement heavily impaired by Samantha's mind short circuiting, but what can you do?)

Of course, that was before Charee quickly hopped forward, wrapping Samantha in an embrace that caused the most enjoyable piece of déjà vu the young aristocrat had ever felt. Just as she was starting to wonder if she could subside on this feeling of elation and pure happiness in place of food, Samantha was brought back down to earth by Charee stepping backwards out of the hug.

"I'm glad to see you're here safe and sound too Samantha! Plus you of course, Angela. Eheh, y-you really want to hear about my mission? W-well you've got to tell me all about how your mission went too then!"

Slowly, slowly, the princess magical girl felt her mind right itself, and the joy in her being balance d itself with a hint of dread, like a blot of ink staining a glass of water. The image of Aki, her glazed eyes staring without sight at the sky, passed through her mind…

…No, no, what was she thinking? There was no need to feel such trepidation. Charee was a magical girl, the same as Samantha, and would have come to terms with the danger of their work. There wasn't any good reason to hide what happened, not when it was an inevitable part of their duty.

Despite that, a protective instinct was welling up within the girl, and she was no longer sure of herself.

"Ah, is it okay if I get Mina to help with the story-telling? I-I mean, I don't want her to feel left out..."

"Hm?" Samantha (glad for the distraction) followed Charee's line of sight, eventually picking a girl sitting at one of the tables out of the crowd, sitting by herself.

It was an odd sight. The girl herself looked like she could be quite dashing, what with her sharp features, clear eyes, and there being barely a hair out of place on her head. The image clashed slightly, however, with how she was more or less tearing though the meal set out before her.

"…She certainly looks to be quite the character." Samantha eventually managed. "However, a friend of my friend is also my friend, or however that goes. I'd be delighted to make her acquaintance, if you want to introduce us."

Kokuyo Kano - Dining Hall
@Mad King Jai @Sailor Moon @Nivi
Kano glanced at Ava and quirked an eyebrow as she introduced herself, as well as Kano and Miyuki to Natalya. The Moody Brute of Elite? She could live with that. A small smirk growing on her lips as she turned back to her food after Ava's question. It's not that she was extremely interested in Miyuki's romanticescapades, but more so that she was interested in the fact she fancied females. What the white haired girl did in her own time was none of Kano's concern. Either way, Ava's tone had been amusing and the brunette found herself enjoying dinner more so than she thought she would.

"In order to be jealous," Kano took a drink from her water before side glancing Ava again. "That would mean I'd have to have romantic feelings for Miyuki. Which I can assure you, I don't." Jealousy was a funny thing and the young Kokuyo had had run ins with it before, but never on her end. Girls she'd dated of course would get jealous when they found out Kano never wanted anything serious and would end up hanging out with someone else, but she always made her intentions clear. She wasn't anything if not honest. Plus she didn't want a horde of girls ganging up on her calling her a liar.

"Kissing on your first mission?" The brunette added with a glance and grin at Miyuki. "Well, your hunt sounds quite a stride better than mine."

"The phrase is 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend,' Sam," Angela provided. "If you spent as much time paying attention in History class as you do ogling at every other girl in the school, you'd know some of this stuff." She turned to Charee with a smile. "I have to admit, I'm looking forward to seeing Mina again after that little incident with Sam's luggage." Though all things considered, there was the possibility of Charee's team having suffered casualties same as Angela's team had. With that in mind, Angela's cheerfulness wavered, but her smile didn't.

Miyuki Aozora
Dining Hall

It seemed none of the girls could catch a break from the snow angel turned ice princess' cold jokes. Miyuki simply rolled her eyes, away from Ava and at Kano and the girl who introduced herself as Natalya. Miyuki silently rejoiced when the attention shifted away from her and onto her new lunch mates, though it was short lived. Kokuyo joined in on the teasing, or maybe it was genuine interest in Miyuki's love life. Miyuki couldn't tell, but she seemed unfazed by Kano admitting that she didn't have feelings for her. Hmph. Miyuki looked the darker haired girl up and down discreetly, as if appraising her.

Miyuki adjusted in her seat, her foot brushing against Kano's ankle. Of course she noticed, but why draw attention to it? With a smirk, she turned just a bit, ruby red eyes narrowing as she swept her hair over her shoulder casually. "Well, whether you're interested or not, you seem a little more than interested to know who my lips have landed on in the last eight hours." Miyuki replied. "It's curious that two girls kissing each other on the battlefield is what makes for a good mission to you." She laughed lightly, before continuing with a coy smile. "But, that's no surprise is it? I'm sure even Ava enjoyed my little kiss, that's why she can't stop talking about it."

Miyuki reached forward and grabbed a fry or two off of Kano's tray. She didn't even give a second look at Kano to see if she was alright with it or not, before biting down on the perfectly golden crisp. It was good, but she didn't plan on making a habit of stealing more of the girl's food. Her curry was much more appetizing, and stealing food was more of an intimidation tactic.

Kokuyo Kano - Dining Hall
@Sailor Moon @Mad King Jai @Nivi @Baddamobs
Kano let the corner of her lips lift when she felt Miyuki's foot against her ankle, but continued on with her food like normal. Accident or not, the white haired girl seemed pretty confident with her, despite her reputation. And for not knowing Kano very well, her house mate was being a bit forward. She was even surprised a bit when Miyuki was bold enough to take a couple of Kano's fries. The brunette was a bit impressed, but maybe Miyuki didn't know who she was dealing with. Of course not everyone did, mainly the older girls of Elite. The Kokuyo name had some leverage that Kano was willing to use, but not when it came to relationships. If a girl was only going to flirt with her for her name, then she wouldn't give them the time of day. Miyuki didn't seem like that sort of person.

"All I meant," Kano started calmly as she turned so she was straddling the bench and looked into deep red eyes. "Was that if I had been able to kiss an attractive girl while on my first mission, it would've made it leagues better." The brunette inspected Miyuki closely and saw the light pink marks on the girl's neck. It looked like their team hadn't had the easiest time on their mission either, though a few injuries didn't really compare to a death. Still, Kano tried to shake the thought from her head and slowly reached forward, moving Miyuki's hair away from her neck and examined the scar. "Though it looks like you didn't get away unscathed. So it seems like we both had a bit of misfortune today."

A small grin rested on Kano's lips before she grabbed her tray and stood, swinging her leg over the bench. Green eyes glanced down at Miyuki and Ava once more before she spoke again. "It was nice seeing you two again." She then looked at Natalya. "And it was nice to meet you. I'm sure I'll be seeing you all around since we live in the same house."

With that said, Kano left the table and tossed her food, looking around the dining hall and seeing Samantha and Angela. She wondered if the girl still had the heart stones and Kano sighed. If she did, Samantha needed to get them to Miss Shizuka as soon as possible so she could purify them. So the brunette walked to where her teammate was with another girl she didn't recognize. Maybe she should get to know more of the girls in her year, but that was a task for another day...or another year, maybe.

Mina Strand - Dining Hall
@Daz @Baddamobs

Mina looked up from devouring her meal as Charee, Samantha, and Angela sat down next to her. "Yo," she mumbled from around a mouthful of partially-chewed beef. She raised a finger as if to ask for a little time, finished chewing, and swallowed. "Ah, sorry about that. What's up?" Charee, she already knew, and she remembered the others from the incident with Samantha's luggage from the other day. "Your mission go well," she asked Samantha and Angela.

She probably should slow down a bit, lest she end up eating herself sick. So, a conversation would do some good, and there was no way she wasn't curious about how the others hand managed. Sure, it was easy to just brag about how her own team had managed, but it would be rude to just start with that.

"It…could have gone better." Samantha coughed out, idly playing with the food she had managed to pick up before sitting down at the table. Despite her gnawing hunger, just the thought of her first mission had made her lose her appetite. "I mean, make no mistake, we managed to slay the Youma, but…"

Samantha stalled out. Just replaying the events in her mind, replaying every step she had taken and every second their lives had been in danger, was causing a painful tightness in her chest. She remembered, with vivid detail, how her heart had been thundering when the Youma had appeared before them. And most of all, she remembered the sickening snap that marked the end of Aki.

Samantha was suddenly unsure if she was up to repeating these events to another. Still, her father had always said that it was rude to not answer a question…

"It had started off well: we managed to get the drop on the half-transformed Youma, with one of our number in the air and other three on the ground, effectively cornering our target. The narrow mountain path meant there wasn't much room to spread out, but as long as I provided ranged support, that wouldn't matter too much. But I…I…"

I froze up. I let fear and panic overwrite all of the training I had received, and had let myself become vulnerable. I had let the team I was supposed to lead down, and had forced Aki to push into an attack because I had insisted we stick to the plan. I had simply stood by, as Aki's life was snuffed out right in front of me…

Samantha was only aware of how hard she was gripping the fork in her hand when she had looked down to see her knuckles turning white. Rather embarrassingly, she had also laid her other hand on one of Charee's, though thankfully that wasn't with a death grip. Clearing her throat while moving both hands to rest more neutrally on the table, Samantha hoped that hadn't been as obvious as it had felt.

Deciding that it would be unfair to dump all of the baggage that clearly taken up a place in her head, Samantha had continued simply,

"I had made a mistake. Things were already bad, and I had only made them worst. That mission could have ended MUCH more poorly if Angela and Kano hadn't pulled through to save the situation."

It was technically true. Not a good representation of what had happened, but technically true, at least.

"Still!" Samantha suddenly looked up properly, clapping her hands together with a smile. The smile felt kind of forced and plastered on, but it was better than the alternative. "We all need to move forward, right? Besides, I'd much rather hear about how your and Charee's mission went rather than ramble about my own."

Charee Moreau - Pink Group - Elite Academy Dining Hall
Settling into the seat next to Samantha, Charee began cutting up a grilled nectarine into bite-size pieces as she waited for Mina to finish her beef. When Mina finally took a break from gorging down her food she asked Samantha and Angela about how their mission went. Curious, Charee rested one hand on the table, picking at her nectarine with the other, waiting to hear what the other girls had to say. However after hearing how apprehensive Samantha was she was rather less curious- and justifiably so, it would turn out.

For a moment during the retelling of the mission Samantha's hand rested on Charee's, making her heart genuinely skip a beat- before it was plunged back into solicitude. By the sounds of it Samantha and Angela's mission had ended with someone not returning, and Samantha clearly blamed herself for it. Unsure of what to do but desperate to reassure Samantha, Charee gentle touched Samatha's arm in an attempt to show her sympathy and did her best to offer up some soothing words.

"You couldn't have been at fault Samatha, you can't prepare for the horrors of your first fight against a Youma. I-I'm sure your team wouldn't want you to feel guilty, right Angela?"

Charee looked over to Angela, hoping that she was in a better state, and thus able to help cheer up Samantha. It seemed from Samantha's obviously forced enthusiasm about Angela and Mina's own mission that she wanted to move on from the topic for now though. Perking up a little, Charee another bite of her meal before going on to recall the events of her own mission.

"Anyway, onto our own mission! We had to look for the Youma in an abandoned hospital, just like the kind you'd see in horror stories- although you didn't seem scared, Mina."

Xiomara Jimenez → Caracara
House B

Xiomara appreciated the escort to her dorm and leaned against Renata, but she never let up a stream of chatter to fill the silence. Xi thanked Renata several times, promised her baked goods and other gifts, told a few disconnected and uninteresting stories. She just couldn't bare to listen to silence anymore. They parted ways at the door to her hall, and Xiomara sleepwalked to the bathrooms.

She didn't really wake up until she was in the shower, washing away the memories of what had happened. Xiomara allowed the water to stream over her head and across her face for a few minutes, then snatched up her washcloth and began to roughly scrub her skin clean. She washed until the water ran cold, then threw the cloth out into the garbage. She had used an entire bottle of soap, and her skin felt raw from scrubbing.

Wrapping a towel around her hair and slipping on a robe, Xiomara let herself into her room and sat on the bed, curling up and staring out the window. How was she going to go on? Did she even want to? The ugly crow alighted on her windowsill and tapped at the glass. Xi opened the window enough for him to hop inside, then covered her head with a pillow. Though she wouldn't seek it out, she was happy to not be alone.

Mina Strand - Dining Hall

Samantha was clearly shaken up about her mission, from the sound of her story. It made Mina want to give her some sort of quaint platitudes about things being all right, or not beating herself up over it, but...it would be just that. She'd just have to keep an eye out, hope she took it well, and offer a shoulder to cry on if needed.

She could, at least, agree with Charee's attempt to cheer her up. "I...really don't feel like I've got anything to say that wouldn't be hollow, but from everything I've heard, a lot of those first missions end in disaster. ...Not that it's probably something you want to hear." She grinned, sheepishly. "You're around friends, so if you ever need to vent or whatever, just ask."

"Ah...that," she asked Charee at the change in subject. "Well, I'm not about to let a little creepy ambience get to me, at least in front of everyone. Besides, we knew exactly what we should expect, so why start filling in imaginary ghosts, when there's a youma there already? It'd probably scare all the ghosts away, anyhow."

She thought a bit about how the mission had went, as she ate a few more bites of food. "I think Ava ran right on ahead, didn't she? Dunno what happened with her before we found her. Good thing she screamed like she was in a horror movie."

Kokuyo Kano - Dining Hall --> Dorms
@Baddamobs
Kano was headed towards the table Samantha was at and she stopped a ways away, hearing her talk about their mission. She heard how she gave most of the credit to Kano and Angela, though in reality, Kano didn't feel like she really contributed any other than being a distraction for the Youma. In a way, that is a feat in itself, but to the brunette, it didn't mean much of anything. She sighed softly as she continued to linger, listening to the other girls tell Samantha about their mission. Maybe she didn't give Samantha enough credit. she had tried too hard to be the leader of the team, but that wasn't a horrible thing. Someone always needed to take initiative.

The brunette finally decided to make herself known and continued on towards Samantha. When she reached her, she gently put a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Sammy was just being modest." She said calmly as she glanced down at her teammate and offered a small grin. "She actually delivered the finishing blow. I was slowly being crushed, she's the reason we were successful in the first place." Kano then looked down at Samantha with a bit more seriousness. She didn't know why Samantha was down playing the situation, but probably for the same reason that Kano didn't really feel like delving deeper into the events. Either way, she wanted to talk to Samantha for a specific reason.

"If you still have those heartstones, I think we should take them to Miss Shizuka and get our reward."

The new girl's name was Natalya. Ava-Rose thought she looked more like a Trixie or some other stripper sounding name. She wouldn't say that to the girl; just think it in her twisted mind. "It's nice to meet you, Trix... I mean, Natalya." Sometimes her thoughts tended to come out before she could stop them. Luckily she stopped it before the entire name came out. Giving a small clap after finding out the new girl was actually in House B as well. "So are we! We're all in the same House. The best house at Elite." Giving a small giggle.

Turning her head when she heard her name come out of Miyuki's mouth. Dramatically gasping at the girl's accusation. "Miyuki! I would NEVER enjoy seeing you kiss someone. We're practically like sisters at this point." Faking a small cry, before bursting out in laughter. "Yeah right. Your kiss was like a baby cartoon, compared to the kisses I give." At the moment she saw her friend take food from Kano's tray, Ava-Rose was grateful she hadn't eaten anything. Wanting to vomit at the obvious attraction the two had for one another. "Oh God... just kiss already."

Not giving Kano too much more attention, as the moody girl left the table. Turning towards Natalya. "I hope you're not going to fond over Miyuki next. I might get jealous if all the girls start to like her more than me." Folding her arms and fake pouting. Once again, letting out a small laugh. "After this, what do you two want to do? I'm bored. And I don't really feel like eating anything right now. After that little display." Rolling her eyes at Miyuki.

Hirose Jun
[BCOLOR=#000000]School Hospital ~> Dining Hall[/BCOLOR]

@R-9 Pilot | @Daz | @Baddamobs

Everything was fuzzy, except for the bright white light that didn't help but blind Jun even more. The bright-haired girl shifted her gaze to the side, focusing her vision on a glass of water sitting on top of a stand next to her. Jun sluggishly reached her arm out in attempt to grab the glass but the sight of purple colored spots plastered crossed her knuckles stopped her. Retreating her hand to get a better look, Jun began to pull herself up into a seating position when her head began throbbing with pain "Ouch." she winced, moving the tips of her fingers up to her forehead, feeling the bandaged material that wrapped around her head.

"Oh! Careful miss, you had quite a blow." A nurse commented suddenly as she walked over to Jun, dropping a single tablet in the glass of water before handing it over. Jun stared at the glass, watching the tablet fizz away before taking it from the nurse "What happened?"

The nurse let out a sigh at Jun's question, it seems like she's been answering questions like these all day. She took a moment to clean the area first before answering "It was during your first Youma hunt. Your team was only on the way to the destination, when the Youma struck… nobody saw it coming." The nurse took a breath and wiped her hand on her apron before continuing "Your team claimed you took most of the blow. Apparently you hit your head hard against a tree as you were blasted away, knocking you unconscious immediately."

Jun nodded, recalling the exact memories as the nurse spoke "And the others?" Jun asked, her voice calm but serious as she started at the nurse… hoping for the best.

"They're okay, however…" The nurse trailed off. Explaining the whole situation to Jun as best as she can. The remaining members managed to escape successfully, but they all believed Jun was dead. Thus they escaped in a hurry, leaving Jun behind. Luckily, when Jun passed out, she had changed back to her human form. Because she was also covered by random remains of the blast, the Youma no longer saw or sensed Jun and soon fled the scene. It was when the school sent authorities over to investigate the area, they found Jun unconscious, but alive. That's when they brought her back to the school hospital. As for the fate of her teammates… They were each so petrified and upset about the outcome, together they sworn to leave Magical Girl Academy, never to return again.

Jun sat there, in disbelief. They didn't even arrive at their location yet, and she was already defeated. What type of useful teammate is that? Leaving her teammates to deal such an overwhelming situation alone to the point they reconsidered their dreams of attending the school. Pathetic… Jun thought to herself, but the sound of a loud growling emitted from Jun's stomach deflected her thoughts.

"I will go get you something to eat."

"No."

The nurse turned at Jun's sudden reply "What?"

"I can go get some myself." Jun muttered and began to fling the white bed sheets off her. "Oh no, no, no, no. You should rest-" the nurse pleaded, but Jun was already out of the bed "It's alright. I'm feeling much better now." She faced the nurse and gave her a quick bow "Thank you very much for looking after me." Jun flashed the nurse a thankful smile before proceeding towards the exit. The nurse fidgeted around, flustered by the situation and unsure whether she should follow the pink-haired girl out, but Jun was already long gone.

The short-haired girl really did feel fine, and thought that maybe it was more appropriate to stay in bed for a little longer. But the thought of uselessly lying around, as someone else did the work for her reminded her too much of her first mission. Right now, she was perfectly capable of getting her own food. Jun was still only wearing the hospital gown when she found the dining hall. Right now, nothing else seemed to matter except for getting some food down into that empty gut of hers.

After retrieving her meal, Jun hurried over to the nearest table. A few people were already dinning at the table, they also appeared to be in some sort of deep conversation about their first mission. The pink-haired girl greeted the girls with a small smile and nodding of her head, trying her best not to interrupt their talk too much. Instead, she focused on her plate of food and tried not to butt in on their conversation unless she was directly addressed to.
