Most other RPs, if I suddenly brought on a jelly bean flood, the GM would slap me with an instant retcon.
Well, I'd say Omnibus isn't most other RP's. :P
But yeah, I get what you're saying, and I suppose a jelly bean flood isn't
exactly what I expected from everyone in the RP, and is a bit over-the-top even by those standards --
but I was at least expecting
some sort of antics as well as legitimate conflicts, like, characters trying to eat each others' pets.
Or sometimes just straight-up murdering each other. Like I said, that was the tone of the original TJA, and I guess I just assumed that having everyone create these diverse and out-there characters and then letting those characters play off of each other would be enough of a recipe for that. But, I can see pretty clearly now that I failed to set the tone that I wanted, which is why I'm fixing it now.
Although, I'd say the whole "I am 100% ok with Hau becoming a smoothie" thing that I kept harping on was a pretty clear indicator of me getting fed up with the lack of antics and trying to let everyone know that I was ok with things getting weird and fucked-up. XD
BUT YEAH, now I'm doing what I should've done from the beginning -- introducing jelly bean floods, and characters like Kaessya, and pretty soon I think I'm also going to introduce
~silvers~ and all the fun that comes with them... :P
