Naoko Hirose
Amegakure Specilized Jounin
Temporary leader of Team 19

As everyone took their spot, and Naoko noted the silence that came from both students, she decided it would be best to keep it, as escort missions always required being on high alert for anything that could occur on the way.

They walked for several hours in a decent pace, before the cart stopped and the short man let out a yawn "You lot can go ahead and set up a camp here. We will continue heading north east tomorrow, first thing in the morning. But for now, my partner and I are both very sleepy and falling asleep on a moving cart can be a risk. So yeah, night to y'all." He said and lit up a small lantern to allow him and his partner to properly see the cart and set up for the night.

Naoko motioned to Sho to come towards her as she started talked "Both of you get some rest, but don't get too comfortable. Sometime during the night, I'll wake you up. If you can stop me from doing so, then you will get to rest a bit more afterwards. If not, expect to train until dawn. Proper rest to both of you." She said before walking away, going up a tree and setting herself in a position that would allow her to properly see the cart and the clients, as well as keep an eye on her two students.

Aya Oda | Genin Kirigakure, Team 11
Aya nodded quite normally despite Shin's confusion as to probably why he attacked at all. "Yeah, isn't he so awesomely strong? Knowing him he was watching and testing us since the start! Kind of glad he knocked Genso out though. I didn't want to hear a I told you so from him." Aya said before Shin brought their attention back to her arm. She stared at it and shrugged. "Meh what can you do really? I can't feel anything at all in it anymore, its quite literally numb as all hell right now." Aya said before taking the bowl and putting her arm in it to cool the burn despite not feeling anything beside bits of her arm not burned being cold. She then sighed and smiled at him, before slowly backing away. "H-hospital huh..... Well you see they give needles and I haven't gotten some in quite a while. So they might you know... give me so-" Before she could finish though she dropped the bowl and took off in a sprint. "Noooooo! I dont want any shots! You can't make me dumb dumb ICY!!" Aya shouted as she tried to make a break for it into the village where someone would possibly think she was being attacked by a dangerous person when really she was avoiding the sure shot she would recieve.

[fieldbox=Kirigakure]
Shin raised an eyebrow as Aya seemed absolutely enamored with her dad. "Are you sure you're not obsessed with him?" He scratched the back of his head as Aya took the bowl from him. He took a step towards the village but paused as her personality suddenly changed dramatically. "What? Then jus-" He stopped as she seemed to already be running, the bowl he had used up chakra for falling. "Wait, we can just tell them not to!" He shouted before beginning to run after her. I don't know about her, but I used a lot of chakra with that battle... She'll get away if I don't try as hard as I can though... He made a horseshoe-like structure of ice, and threw it, using his ability to control it as little as possible at least until he got it past where she was. He then attempted to use his control to pull it around to in front of her leg and pull back in the hopes of tripping her. "You don't need to get the shots, just ask to treat your arm!"

Kaya Irozaki
Kumogakure Genin of Team 13

-------------

With wide open eyes, Kaya stared. It all just happened. She just sat and stared as it all happened. Not one muscle in her body dared to move the entire time as the girl watched how Reyna transformed. She became that what Kaya feared the most. Despised the most. But even so, she didn't dare to move even away as Reyna or whatever beast was in control started its slaughter.

"Stop..."

Kaya whispered. She watched how Reyna continued.

"Stop, please..."

But the whisper was overwhelmed by the sound of the girl and the unfolding scene in front of Kaya. The color was drained from Kaya's face as the girl wasn't even able to register the cold of the snow anymore. All that she could do was just stare and shiver in fear. The rush of adrenaline didn't even neutralize the fear and pressure that was leaning on Kaya. The girl barely was able to register even Asa's action. Slowly Kaya's eyes lowered. A warm salty sensation kept rolling in multiple tears over her cheeks. Clenching her hands slowly in fists, she bite her lower lip.

She was still alive.

That mattered. All that mattered at the moment. She couldn't care that she hadn't been that helpful. That she hadn't been able to save Midori. No, she was happy enough that she wasn't missing any limbs or her own life. Anybody who wished to argue against that fact just had to look at those masked enemies who had gotten in the way of Reyna. Or whatever beast had taken over her. Slowly Kaya's eyes lifted up as she grew angry. She had been almost helping one of those cursed demons! Risked her life in order to protect another person, that was nothing more than a shell for a demonic beast!

Slowly Kaya moved. Getting up, she remained silent as she seemed to focus on her breathing and standing still. Her legs were still a bit shaken, but her anger gave her some power. Though the girl wanted to yell at Reyna, she didn't. Staring at the girl, slowly the eyes of Kaya lowered.

She was still scared.

On the move again

Taking her place in the back behind the genin and going along at the pace that Natsuo had set for them. Kin seemed to be in a pensive mood so she wouldn't try to talk to him. So she would try the girl. "Are you and yours keeping alright?" Hanako asked her. Hanako, herself, was having no problem with the pace that was set by them. She was kind of curious to know why Satoshi-Sensei had left them on their own. It was interesting to say in the least, she would keep watch on the genin and allow some of them to get comfortable.

Ayame Yukiteru
Team 3 Genin | Kumogakure

Ayame had begun the pace in the formation, though all her animals had crawled into her jacket and were taking the trip home as a chance to sleep for a long period of time. Chibi, however was poking her head out of her pocket, looking forth with her blackish eyes. Ayame smiled and stroked the pup; she'd bring her home and everything to get adjusted. Maybe she could even invite someone over... For the first time. Ayame flinched a bit when Hanako asked her how her and the animals were doing.
"F... Fine. W-we're... Fine..." She stuttered nervously, now deciding to keep her mouth shut and follow the pace. She should invite Satoshi-sensei over to thank him..! Yeah, that could work...

The Wedding of Hisoka and Harumi

Summary :
The wedding continues as Harumi and Hisoka Uchiha are now man and wife.

[spoili]

The noise of the small child of the jounin commander made Harumi to turn her head slightly and glance over her shoulder. She didn't mind the interuption, but was a bit surprised by the sobbing. Daisuke? All that she could think of was Daisuke Uchiha and if there was something Harumi wanted then it weren't Uchiha's. Certainly not family of Shozo or Hisoka. Softly snorting a laughing fit back as she almost imagined the Second Hokage to enter the hall, surprising everybody and who know? Perhaps save her? Unlikely though, he was probably just like his brother. Turning her attention back to the priest, Harumi waited for what was to come.

Hisoka automatically followed Harumi's movement. Even Shozo looked to the retreating back of the Jounin Commander. Daisuke. Of all of the names to come up, Hisoka wasn't sure if there was any other that could be this interesting. Why the boy wanted Daisuke, Hisoka couldn't phantom. Daisuke had been dead for years even though Hisoka had wished him to be alive. Someone he believed that Daisuke would have talked his father out of it. Daisuke had always managed to talk his father out of it. Training, schooling. Daisuke had been the cool uncle. The cool uncle that was dead.

As Kei ran after her father Hisoka turned her gaze back to the hand he was holding. He had seen Meisa in his brief encounter with the hall. She was there. So was Sakamoto and Mayumi. His hand tightened around Harumi's and he gave her a look before looking to the priest again.

The gesture of Hisoka was met with a brief cold glance from Harumi's eyes. The rest of her face seemed calm, but she didn't appreciate the squeeze. It reminded with who she was again. Licking her lips, Harumi lowered her head a bit as the priest seemed to prepare the next part. The worst. "Do you, Hisoka Uchiha, take Harumi to be your loftly wedded wife, in good and bad times, in sickness and health, from this day forth until death does you part?" The priest asked, looking in Hisoka's direction.

"I... do," came the reply from Hisoka. He knew he should look Harumi in the eyes, but that seemed to cost so much effort that instead he just pretended to seem transfixed on the priest who now turned to Harumi,"Do you, Harumi Uchiha, take Hisoka Uchiha to be your loftly wedded husband in good and bad times in sickness and health from this day forth until death does you part?"

Without wavering, the woman spoke up. "I do." It went easier than expected, but Harumi kept her role in check. She was now an ANBU and a wife. Life was great, wasn't it? The thought made the woman yearn more for to see her little brother than anybody else.

"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The priest gave them an expectant glance. Hisoka turned to Harumi, his eyes serious.

"Let's just get this over with," he whispered beneath his breath as he moved closer. "Then we can get out of here and into that party outside and then there will be no need to be exceptionally close."

She turned to him as well. No twitch appeared, nor did she flinch when he came closer. Half closing her eyes, the corners of Harumi's lips moved a bit up. She had a fitting reply that would equal a threat on her tongue. But instead she would just close her eyes. "Yes, governor." She whispered back, waiting for her lips to come in contact with Hisoka's. Leaning a bit forward, she tried to think of something else. It would be over soon, wouldn't it? Much to her surprise, the lips of the man weren't rough or irritating as she had anticipated them. Making sure it would last a proper time, she counted down. "Twenty-one. Twenty-two. Twenty-three. Twenty-four." Breaking the contact, Harumi briefly kept her head lowered.

It wasn't a specifically bad kiss. Their contact lasted for about four seconds and it wasn't really that bad. Maybe she was even a pretty good kisser. Not that he ever cared to find out. As they broke contact applause rose up from the crowd and Hisoka took a step back, giving Harumi some more personal space. Yet, he still offered her his hand as the people rose. "Walk down the aisle with me please," he asked her.

Taking his hand, she kept the previous smile on her lips. Her eyes sought for a sign of a particular person. At least people were happy with the wedding, she thought as she would walk down the aisle with Hisoka. But she wasn't happy unless she would spot him. So focused she was that she almost had forgotten about that she was holding hands with Hisoka. "I need... some time." Harumi whispered, slightly panicking as she couldn't spot Katsu among the crowd during the walk.

"Time in here?" Hisoka whispered back as he slowed his pace. "Who are you looking for?" Personally he tried to leave as soon as possible. They had passed Meisa's seat almost immediately and Hisoka didn't want her eyes behind him. And what if Mayumi suddenly pulled a Kei and started running down the aisle. That couldn't happen...

"Kat. He isn't here." Harumi whispered back. Her green colored eyes shifted quickly, but she kept her role up. A smile still graced her features and she managed to keep hiding her stress away. Luckily, the dress did half the work for her. At least it was useful for something. Half tempted to ask Hisoka where Katsu was, she doubted he would know. And asking Shozo was a no.

Hisoka's eyes narrowed ever so slightly as he looked around too. He knew what Katsu looked like. He had helped the boy once before he even knew that that kid was the brother of his future wife. "He was here. In the beginning, when you came walking. Maybe he is waiting outside for you." It was the only suggestion he could give her because Katsu's black hair was no where to be found in the crowd around them.

"Yeah..." She whispered back. That was just going to be it. He was just waiting for her outside and then they could spent some time together. At least then today wouldn't be that dreadful. Becoming silent, she would keep herself adjusted to Hisoka's pace, but also watched her own step to not trip and fall flat on her face. If anything, that could make the day slightly worse if she wouldn't be able to spend time with her baby brother.

With that settled the couple finally reached the doors. They were opened for them so that they could step outside where the festivities were going. People cheered, or at least some did. Some were eating or talking. They looked happy and HIskoa supposed that, if anything had to be gained from this day it was that the people of the village were happy. He released Harumi's hand, gave a wave to the public with his now free hand and turned to his... wife. "You go look for Katsu. We did what we had to do. No need for more. I'll keep my dad busy or something."

Slight surprised, Harumi wondered for a moment if there was something behind it. Leaning forward, she forced herself to plant her lips against his. With that done, she kept her eyes averted from his as she took a step back. It was however impossible yet to thank him. First she had to look for Kat and make sure that he would've a good day. With lifting the dress a bit up, to walk properly, Harumi would walk down the steps, acting as if she was going to mingle with the people that were present in the compound

Yoshikuni Sadako
Amegakure Chuunin, Team 11

So that was their mission, Kuni thought as she moved to walk besides Eiji. It sounded rather straight forward, if the excecution would be smooth or not was an entirely different question. When he asked for them to be respectful, Kuni nodded. If there is one thing she felt she had gotten better at from her recent time in Konoha, it was being a bit more respectful towards others.

Before she could answer Eiji's question, she heard Ryu's suggestion. Only now she noticed her teammate's voice being not exactly masculine as she remembered it to be, but figured it could easily be a number of reasons "Well Ryu, this is only my thought, but if we are going to the village to help the people there, its probably because they requested the help, and going to find the bandits could be looked as not what they intended for us to do, and going to the shrine means we will hear from the people themselves what they wish for us to help with." She told her with a smile "But again, thats what I think. I could be wrong." She added quickly.

Turning to look at Eiji, she stuck out her tongue "I have quite a bit to tell you regarding that, but I will tell you at the evening. Lots to tell, don't worry." Kuni said.

Satoshi Jun,
Kumogakure Jounin | Team 3

The first day going back had gone rather well. He had observed the team and they followed his order to move as a group. There wasn't much interaction going on as he had hoped, but at least they didn't question everything. Not at least out loud so far, perhaps silently in mind. But that was okay. With the team moving on, it would of course take again two days of traveling to arrive back at Kumogakure.

A whistle sounded as Satoshi made a stop sign. With his left hand clenched into a fist, held up a bit, he glanced at the team. "We stop now and make camp." He explained in case they would wonder what the sign would mean. "I will keep first watch. Each of you needs to perform at least one task. This time, I will not give the tasks, but each of you need to figure what needs to be done." Satoshi ordered, hoping that they would be able to make camp together. Somebody to make a fire, another to set up the tents, one to perhaps set up some basic traps and there was of course one of the most vital of tasks : making supper with the military rations. Probably brown bean soup would be on the menu this evening, Satoshi wagered with a chuckle.

Using his sensory ninjutsu to scan the area, he couldn't detect any humanoid chakra signatures. There were some animals nearby, but nothing big that he considered a direct threat. Letting out a sigh, the man would pocket his hands as he would take a small distance to let his team try to do their tasks.

Kimi Iomaski,
Kirigakure's Spymaster.
- Kirigakure's

The Council meeting.

It was silent in the large hall. The meeting was held within the Intelligence Division HQ as Kimi had requested the other council members to meet up with her. There were was the fact that a convoy from Akino had arrived. Seemed to be a group of ANBU that just this morning entered the dock and requested a rather simple answer.

During the Revolution, the Loyalists had accepted to be part of the Join Strike Force Operation in attempt to bring peace and order within the Wolf Country. The reason that the Loyalists had agreed back then was because they would get control back and it could improve their diplomatic reputation among the current strong alliance of the Akino-Cloud.

Now it was however a bit iffy. The Revolutionists had won the civil war and it was thus obvious that the other parties of the Join Strike Force were wondering what the deal was now. And for that reason there was a council meeting, along with some other pressing matters.

"Welcome all, I am glad that you could come on such a short notice." Kimi said, a smile plastered over her lips. She sat at the round table as nobody was after all more important than others. Not at least in theory. There were several people around. She herself was just the humble Spymaster. There was of course Hiro, the jounin commander and current highest military commander and some more that controlled the economical, civic and such matters.

"As you all know, we had signed to participate to be part of the Join Strike Force Operation. With the convoy from the Empire, we're asked to give a final verdict on what our decision will be. It---" Kimi wanted to continue, but a man spoke up. He was sporting some grey hairs at his dark colored hair, together with the wrinkles that came with his age. "It wasn't the decision of the Council nor Republic. Those dogs have their own gain with venturing into what is rightfully ours." It was Lee, the head of Trade. A rather stubborn man, but one that knew precisely when he could gain something or not. Something he had likely picked up from his profession as wealthy trader. Though it was easy to conclude that he did favor a risk now and then as he had supported the Revolution with money and weapons.

"It was the state that agreed to it. We might have changed the government form, but we still owe it to follow the treaty. Else we will just be hearing how we break them while we just changed the state and try to improve our diplomatic reputation. Unless," Another spoke up. Ozawa, a woman around the forties with dirty blonde hair, who glanced sideways at Lee. "Somebody has decided to invoke another change?" She was the Head of the Diplomats.

Lee shot a brief glare at the woman. But he remained silent. Kimi remained silent, with a smile present. With the two done, she continued. "From my sources, I've information that the operation itself won't need much forces. We will need somebody who can be trusted to send to plan a coordinated move with the forces of the Empire and Cloud. To preserve our own, we could use theirs." She suggested. Subtly the woman glanced at Hiro, but the man remained silent. Out of all the present people, only he was a shinobi, excluding Kimi herself. And he knew her better than the others around the table. Briefly the right corner of the man's lips went a bit down.

"Perhaps we could send Takeshi Shun? It would perhaps be both showing that we still have strong people who can defend the country. The fact that he is the leader of the Swordsmen has to say something, doesn't it?" Nina, the head of Agriculture, proposed. A bit chubbier woman around her thirties with short brunette hair and freckles. In Kimi's opinion, she seemed more fit in the kitchen than in a meeting like this. But she would hold her true opinion behind the 'walls' that she had set up.

"No. We can't." Finally he spoke up, his arms crossed as he lowered his head. His eyes closed, Hiro sighed. "If we are so reckless of sending high ranked officials and officers to states in order to show power, we will end up losing the face and reputation we're trying to make. Next to that, what if the Akino-Cloud alliance decides that this is a good time to strike down one of our highest ranked officer and that the Wolf country wouldn't need to be restored just to order, but perhaps to Kumogakure's rule? Then we're farther from home and losing, again, a Swordsman. And I prefer Six than Five." The man glanced sideways at Kimi, who 'answered' his blank expression with her smile.

"I know after all that Masuba had been provoked to assassinate Rika. We lost Samahada, let's not lose more."

The line of the man made Kimi not lose face. But she had clearly underestimated the man. It was indeed one of her schemes as she had been plotting against Rika's rule as a Suzu would only further bring ruin for the country. The dismissing of the Swordsmen had seen to their greatest fall and it was humiliation for the elite squadron. Thus easy to 'advise' a disgruntled member with the Shark Skin blade to try his hand in ending Rika. But who had provided Hiro with that source? Though that didn't really matter. What did, she thought as she half closed her eyes, was that she would need to parry his attempt with one of her.

"I agree with Hiro. The Swordsmen have just after all recovered." The new speaker was Minosori, Organizer of Laws. The oldest members of the Council, which was clear due to his grey hair - kept in a neat ponytail. It was hard to guess his age as he had a lot of wrinkles and indications that he had seen many a summers passing by, but his voice was somewhat strong and youthful. In Kimi's opinion, he was a reversed old bastard that was too much fan of keeping traditions and his laws.

The talk continued, with the ending being that the Council decided that the answer would be a yes. The Republic would then later send somebody to coordinate the operation with a representative of Akino and Kumogakure. Then another topic would be brought up.

Nina brought up some concern about the fish industry, that they would need to reintroduce some laws in order to make it easier for those who participated in that profession as they had suffered from the fact that both the Revolutionaries as Loyalists had used even some of the simple ships of fishermen in order to further their past conflict. It was more a talk between Lee, Minosori and Nina than anybody else.

After thirty minutes, Kimi decided to make her move back. "Good, good. I suppose we can conclude the fishers and their family can be quite grateful with the polite policies to support them from Lady Nina." The feigned compliment seemed to come over as a real one at Nina, who nodded and flashed a warm smile at Kimi. "But I want to present another matter. It has been some time, but we all know that there is a clear risk with not having a host for the Six Tailed Bijuu that we have under our control."

An eerie silence moved into the hall. Nobody wanted to talk about the topic. Only person that managed to keep his posture was Hiro. His eyes briefly narrowed at Kimi, not averting as the others did. "I've taken the liberty to seek for a capable person who would be a fitting candidate. We need to have somebody who is loyal and having some good will power." The woman clearly turned her attention to Hiro.

"I have heard of a genin that withstood harsh torture, not spilling one word. He has even been spotted at the side of the past Revolution leader, Mika Hayashi. Hiroshi Akiyama seems more than a fitting candidate. Certainly with such a father as Hiro, we can be ensured that he will be nothing more than a loyal jinchuriki with a bright future." The subtle jab didn't made any chance to the features of Hiro. But the man wouldn't remain silent. Nina nodded a few times, probably wanting to return Kimi's compliment and feigned favor with licking her boots.

"Hiroshi is a capable genin. But even though he has managed good so far, I disagree. Further research is needed on whom is fitting to be capable of adjusting with the beast. I have my mind set on some people, but that isn't something we can decide now." The man replied. Kimi slightly raised her left eyebrow in return. She was about to say something, not wanting to let the man get away that easily, but a bell sounded.

A break was announced as the meeting had taken some time. There were some soft sighs as the painful topic would have to wait at least a day. Getting up from her chair, Kimi's smile was still present. But a cold expression was clear in her eyes, meeting and locking with that of Hiro as the members of the council would start to leave the room.

That man was getting dangerous for her plans...

Summary :
Kookiemonster gets cookies/ Koike and Katsu meeting up at the Uchiha compound.
[spoili]

"That was nice." Koike mumbled, finishing the snack. He became a bit more relaxed as he would walk down the street. Looking a bit around, he wondered for a moment where Katsu would be. He had also to meet up with Kazuo and Saki. It was after all time that they would prepare for a mission soon. Possibly one that would be more fitting for their league as Koike doubted that they would need to hold down due to Katsu being young. It made Koike actually think about his friend. He was perhaps some years younger, but already an experienced chuunin in his opinion. In due time...

"Hmm?" Coming to a halt, Koike noticed a familiar person up ahead. "Katsu?" Speaking out loud, the young man increased his pace. "Hey," catching up with the Uchiha, Koike flashed a smile, "don't you have a wedding to attend to? Or is it already over?"

The boy turned around with a grim look to face his friend, only to give a weak smile right after. "Er... Yeah. I decided to leave early. It was a bit boring and... all."

"Did you expect anything else?" He asked, raising his right eyebrow slightly after asking the question. "But was it that bad then?"

"It's just a stupid wedding," the boy muttered before sighing. "Er... Well, what are you up to?"

Koike looked in front of him. He decided to not react about the wedding. It wasn't anything that involved him into it, so he decided to not talk about it. It was clear anyways what Katsu thought about it. "Enjoying my free time. Just had a snack and now just enjoying a good walk. Not everyday that I can just walk around without worrying about what kind of mess you're making." Koike said, a smirk moving on his lips.

"Mhm." Katsu gave a sigh, smiling. "I guess that must be nice. If I was there, I'd have probably eaten your snack too."

"That would have probably been the case. Good thing I ate it before I smelled you." Koike answered. He patted Katsu's shoulder as he glanced at his friend. "But what are you going to do now? I thought that there would be a party. Or am I too late for that?"

"I'm not sure," Katsu said. "Perhaps the ceremony is over. And what to do..." He glanced back. "I'll probably go get something to eat and go back to studying."

"Oh yes, studying for the course you're doing at the War Academy? What was it about again? The stance of the sun and light, wasn't it?" Koike asked, slightly amused as he frowned in the direction of Katsu after asking the question, that was loaded with the obvious sarcasm.

Though, the remark got no retort but a "Mhm."

"Interesting." He wanted to ask what Katsu was studying. Or up to. It was clear in his opinion that it was something, but asking for it seemed out of place. Continue to walk further, Koike eyed the festival around them. "How about we ditch this place and relax somewhere more fitting? With less people that scream and make noise."

The boy nodded. "That sounds nice," he said, smiling. "Do you have somewhere in mind?"

"Much better." Leaning with his back against the wall, Koike placed his hands at the back of his head as he sat on top of the Second Hokage's head. The view was as always stunning and the air wasn't filled with noise as it was in the Uchiha compound. Half closing his eyes as he stared at the horizon, Koike sighed out loud. "You know, this has been one crazy year. I know that I have said it like a dozen times, but if it keeps up like this, I hope it will be a bit easier next year."

Katsu sat beside his friend, chuckling lightly. "A crazy year? I mean, it's my first, so it has been for me, but how is it different than your earlier years of service?"

"That I respect and view an Uchiha as a brother. That is really weird." Koike chuckled in return. "That and leading my own squad. I started off as a genin in Aiko's squad with just my twin and another Uchiha. Well, you probably know how my twin ended. But I think that the Uchiha resigned. Can't even remember his name anymore. Odd, huh? But with how things have been going, I don't know. It is just a bit more... busy."

"I'm sure things'll settle down," Katsu said. "Oh... also, I was wondering if you could help me with something later on... A technique, but nothing too--"

"Knew it." Was all that Koike said.

"It's a Wind Release technique."

Koike glanced sideways at Katsu for a moment. "Sure. I can try to help out. Aiko-sama might be better, but I'll see what I can do though." Was his answer. "Still, knew it."

"Knew what?!"

"You'll get it once you're older."

"That doesn't make any sense!"

"No. I do hope that course for the War Academy does."

"I'll kick you off the side!"

"I seriously wonder why a lot of people are being so aggresive and when I want to go, being pulled back." Koike closed his eyes, scoffing afterwards. "That and that would be making no sense."

"Whatever... Asshole," he mumbled quickly and quietly. "So... Any plans in the next few days?"

"Not very polite. If anything, I am now your senpai and leader." Koike said back with an amused tone, then continue to answer Katsu's question. "Training. Spending time with Korina, you and then a few meetings. For the Guardians as my own project. Well, not my own. Nothing too interesting. Just like a course at the War Academy."

"Wanna tell me about it?"

"About Korina or the guardian meetings? Nothing that I think you would deem interesting." Was the answer Katsu would recieve. "The meetings of course!"

"Psh, just some discussion on paperwork, organization and the usual. If you want, I can request Hayate if you're allowed to enter the next meeting. Nothing exciting about it, at all." Shrugging lightly, Koike gained a smirk on his lips.

"Oh come on! I'm 13 years old; I'm allowed to be curious and get no responsibilities!"

"And so? Doesn't mean I need to detail you about every meeting. If you want to see how we organize paperwork, talk about who needs more training or doing missions or get special assignments from us."

"Well, gimme one then!"

Koike opened briefly an eye half as he glanced at his friend. "Soon." He mumbled in return, closing his eye again. "For now, ain't it better to enjoy some peace and comfort?"

"Meh... I suppose I get why you'd like it, but this calmness is... boring..."

(MONAKA IS NO SEX DEMON DAMMIT)

"Alright Tao Tao, come at me!" The teen yelled to the much larger creature, having her arms spread out. Training in the forest, as usual, doing some wrestling. Was she absolutely insane for a mostly blind woman? Yes. The monstrous dog-like creature came charging at her, huffing and stomping. He knew very well not to hold back during training unless told to. He then came plowing into Monaka, causing her to skid back while she gripped his hot snout.
"Almost... Pushed me over the line again..." She said through her teeth, looking at the line drawn in the dirt not even an inch away from her foot. She then began to push as hard as she can, but as always the Lion Dog make it tricky with his size and weight.
"G-good... Job.. Boy..." She panted, beginning to slightly push him backwards, but he pushed back. It was like an intense game of tug of war. She then proceeded to wrap both arms around his snout, making a hard pull to the left, causing the beast to release a loud whimper and topple down along with her.
"Another draw... Yeah yeah twists are cheating." She chuckled. She was covered in dirt and sweat, but had a huge smile on her face. Tao Tao only rolled onto his belly, letting out a low roar, as if to complain.
"Yeah yeah just let me rest for a moment..."

Taking his usual stroll through the woods, he would stare at his hand as he moved his index finger to the right and extended out his hidden blade and would move it to the left to retract it. Sure enough like Korina said, with enough practice this became almost like an instinct. He knew there was a wedding going on between Hisoka and Harumi, yet he honestly didn't care for it. It didn't hold any importance to him and he never was real good around crowds anyway. Besides most of the people going weren't there cause they whole heartedly cared about the event. They were there to either get free food or find a way to get themselves noticed.
Somewhere he could feel some rumbling which made his face scrunch up in confusion as he looked around. The rumbling was bigger than any charging bears hes seen, so it had to be of pretty decent size. He looked at his equipment and tapped his chin thinking about the situation. He could always go inspect it and if it looked to be worth it, he could always get those butcher helpers to help him carry back the body. So silently deciding that was for the best he headed towards the sounds, yet what he came acroos made him stare blankly at what he was witnessing. This woman was wrestling a giant beast of sorts, she also seemed to be enjoying herself and not freaking out. So either she knew the beast or she was insane.
"S-should I help?" Kazumo spoke to himself, yet the answer seemed to be the first option as they would lay on the ground with her chatting to it. Kazumo would sigh to himself at his luck of meeting these odd individuals.
He would walk up but keep his distance in case the beast wasn't friendly towards other and would observe the girl who upon closer inspection had some pretty big scars. "Might want to go a bit further from the village if you plan on... wrestling with your pet. Someone might read the situation incorrectly and try to kill it to save you." Kazumo slighlty lectured her, yet wasn't that stern since it didn't affect him at all really.

"Good day for training... Ten out of ten..." She said, obviously out of breath. She wasn't on the verge of fainting, nope. This was completely normal for the girl and she had the body to prove it. She rolled onto her side, until she was met with the voice of a male.
"Eh?" The dirt-covered girl grunted, turning to face him, "Pet? Tao Tao is no pet. And... Kill?" She broke out into laughter, having her hands on her belly before going into a small coughing fit.
"If he wanted to kill me i'd be sliding down his throat and into his lava-hot stomach by now. Or he would have turned me into a bloody pancake by sitting on me." The girl replied, staring at the lecturer, "Says the weirdo coming out and lecturing me. What're you, a stalker? Wanna take some pics of me or some shit? That your fetish?"

It had a name? Well it made sense it was large, although being friends with it seemed odd. She then proceeded to laugh at his comment of Tao Tao killing her, stating she'd be dead if he wanted to kill her. Yet hearing lava hot stomach made him look at the beast a bit more carefully. Was that a hint towards it being capable of fire style or lava style jutsus? So it was a summoning. However his thought process was cut short when she started harrassing him about being some sort of sexual stalker.
His face flushed a bit as he glared at her, seriously what the hell was up with all these females he meet. One openly teased him and one is now labelling him a stalker, no wonder his dad never got married again.
"W-what! Thats absurd! I don't even know who you are lady!" Kazumo responded before pointing at her. "Maybe this is your way of picking up guys! You go out in the open and have Tao Tao attack you so a guy swoops in and saves you! Maybe you are the sexual deviant here!" Kazumo retorted, not that amused at being labeled right off the bat. He crossed his arms before he covered his face as he now had to stop trying to think of the image she brought into his head. He then turned around and waved her off. "Whatever the point is you aren't in danger, i'll just be going now." Kazumo said although turning around was to mostly hide the fact his face was now clearly red.

The girl only sat in silence, raising her mostly destroyed left eyebrow. This was a weird one... She saw as he began to walk away, his figure only getting blurry the farther away he walked.
"Sheesh, it was just a joke..." She mumbled, standing up, "Come back you're too far away for me to see you." She called to him, squinting in the action of calling. Tao Tao had began to roll around on the ground, seeming to be having fun with rolling in the grass, making loud huffing and grunting noises. That, or he probably had a bad itch.

Just walk away and you will never have to see this person again. Kazumo thought to himself before she spoke about him to come back as he was too far away for her too see. This prompted him to turn his head and stare at her with slight confusion. They weren't that far apart, hell he could see every little detail about her from where he was.... God damit. He again covered his face as he would never get these freaking images out of his head unles he gave himself brain damage. Wait maybe he could genjutsu himself into forgetting certain memories.... questions for later.
Grumbling he would walk back towards her, getting a little closer now that he was slightly certain Tao Tao wasn't going to maul him. Yet this was more so awkwards now as he looked at her. He could see why it might have been hard to see him from that far, her eyes were badly damaged, his own eyes were odd with their almost clear look, but hers weren't like that normally. Must of been one hell of an incident.
"So you want to see a potential stalker? Can you atleast call me Kazumo instead of stalker? I rather not have that as a nickname." Kazumo asked, slightly hoping he was far enough away that anything red was hard to see.

"I was kidding you idiot..." She sighed, walking closer to him, forcibly grabbing his hand, "Monaka. Monaka Honoo. Pretty sure this is how greetings with someone you meet in a forest work, right?" She chuckled. She didn't care that she was dirty and sweaty, "So your name's Kazumo? Weird name for someone who goes through the woods." She had a huge grin on her slightly scarred face.

"Odd thing to say to someone you just meet..." he spoke before he got his hand forcibly shooken as she introduced herself with what he assumed was an attempt at a joke. "Sure it is.... although you would be the first I ever came across in the woods." He said glancing down at her dirt covered hand which also stuck with her sweat, which of course he could feel from the handshake. Yet of course she went and said his name was weird for someone going through the woods. That... didn't make a whole lot of sense unless he was mistakened on something. "Well its Kazumo Sarutobi, and its not that weird. I was born in the woods so its only natural I find myself more at home in the woods. Besides my clan originally stuck to the woods, before dividing around to the village and such." Kazumo spoke before looking down at his hand. "You sure you arent the sexual deviant here? You can let go anytime you know." Kazumo said getting some slight revenge in.

"Kazumo... Sarutobi..." She mumbled to herself, as to not forget his name, "Sexual deviant? If I was a... Deviant. Whatever that is... I don't think i'd be very good at it." She said, wearing a frown, "Sheesh don't use big words, you'll confuse me." She released his hand, "I just like rough play." She took a step back, before grinning at him, "...Like this!" She suddenly jumped at him, wrapping her arms around his torso and knocking him to the ground, rolling so that he'd end up on top.
"Better hope no one drops in on this..." She said with her massive grin not leaving her face.

She mumbled his name which prompted him to tilt his head as she released his hand and told him to stop using big words as he would confuse her. Deviant wasn't that big of a word.... She then mentioned liking rough play which again made him cover his face before she tackled him. "W-wait what?!" Kazumo shouted as she gripped onto him and brought him to the ground with a loud thud of his back hitting the ground. She then rolled which made him roll as he wondered what the hell just transpired within the few minutes he first meet her. Yet she then stops with him on top and of course said something that only furthered her being a deviant. His face was practically the color red itself now as he leaned back and scooted away looking at her. Okay he was sure he knew how to handle this situation.... okay he didn't, making friends itself was hard to do. "Ummm. Uhhh. Won't..... Tao Tao get jealous and think you aren't showing him enough affection as well?! I mean look at him, he looks starved for it!" It was his attempt at something, he wasn't sure what that was but all he knew was he said the first thing that came to his mind.

All she could do was chuckle. She was smiling to the point her face hurt.
"God damn it your adorableness is only making me like you more!" She said as she sat up to look at the male. She felt like she had a bucket's worth of sweets in her mouth. When he brought up Tao Tao getting jealous, she made a 'hmm'ing noise.
"Tao Tao! What do you think?" She called to the beast. He automatically rose to his huge paws, running over while at the same time making the ground shake, and stopping in front of Kazumo. He had his snout near his head, giving the boy a big, warm lick.
"Hmm. He seems pretty happy with you." She noted as she heard the Lion Dog purr while rubbing his snout rather gently against the boy's body, his flaming tail wagging.
"Besides, Tao Tao isn't the jealous type... Really his intelligence is kind of..." She had her hand sort of swing down, while doing a raspberry, as to indicate: Low. Very low.

I could have sworn I came off as an asshole.....How did this happen!? He thought as he folded his arms as she commented on his adorableness. "I'm manly as hell....." Kazumo mumbled before she asked Tao Tao what he thought and this prompted the beast to rush over to him and give him a big warm ass lick. He had been licked by animals before, but not to the point that their tongue was bigger than him. So he froze up a bit as Tao Tao's tongue went up his face covering it in the beast saliva and making some of his hair stick up.
He smiled at him as he patted his hair down and would rub the beasts head. She then said he wasn't the jealous type and was pretty much retarded. "Must be one hell of a watch dog then.

"Naaah. You're as adorable as a newborn baby." She got to her feet, vaguely watching him with her one eye as he pet the animal, who returned the pet with a little lick to his hand.
"Hey, acts like a cat, acts like a dog. I'd say I got the best of both worlds." She said, shrugging, "Tao Tao, sit." She said, the command followed by a loud whistle with her teeth. The beast automatically sat, raising one of his paws and grooming himself.
"Just in case you think I have no control of him." She put her hands on her hips, "He may not be the sharpest knife, but he knows what I want."

She wouldn't humor him and would go on about his adorableness being comparable to a new born baby. He wasn't sure if he just got called a baby or that he was as clueless but cute as one. Then again he never really seen many new born babies. The beast would then go ahead and sit as she commanded and proceed to groom his paws like an actual cat would. Kazumo wasn't sure if he was terrified of this beast anymore or if he pitied its odd personality. Then again its always the oddest ones that are the most dangerous, this brought him to looking at her and her odd behaviour. "Hey... quick question, are you a genin?" He asked wanting to be certain on something, there was no way someone as odd as her could be his superior.... right?

"Hmm? Nah, I'm a Chuunin." She said, running a hand through her hair as if to check for tangles, "How come?"

Hearing her say Chuunin made him pause as he stared at her. No way....".... I was curious, I'm a genin...." He responded before cracking his neck a bit. If she was a chuunin, then that meant she was stronger than him? Well she did say she liked rough play. Without warning he planted his hands on the ground and spun his legs around to sweep her legs from out under her.

She crossed her arms, her one eye staring at him. What was he getting at? Did he think it would be impossible for someone like her to be a chuunin? Before she could open her mouth to say anything, he went and did a sweep kick. As she was too slow, she could only put her Kekkei Genkai to work. She quickly stomped the ground, the direction the kick was coming from would cause him to have his foot hit solid stone if he wasn't quick to move his position.

God fucking damnit whats with women and making him hit the hardest thing possible! He slammed his leg into the stone yet grunted as he rose and rubbed his leg cursing under his breath. Yet that was really fast, so whatever she did wasn't a ninjutsu. He then bobbed and weaved his way closer to her throwing a left hook towards her sternum. Of course this brought back memories of himself punching metal, yet she had no way of pulling any sword out to block it.

"That's what you get for trying t-" She saw as he had a punch ready, and since it seemed to be swinging high she rose her hand to grab it, just barely catching it before it hit her.
"The fuck man?" She said as she kept a vice grip, twisting his arm to ensure the punch wouldn't continue, "You wanna fight?"

When his punch was caught and twisted slightly he tried to show that the pain wasn't bothering him when really it was. "God damnit Korina you lying sack of crap." Kazumo mumbled as she asked him if he wanted to fight. He chuckled nervously at her as he shrugged a bit. "Against my better judgement? I probably should stop, but I do need to train for the up coming tournament, so I guess I do. Kazumo said before bearing through the pain of her having twisted his arm and went in for a tackle of his own this time. Hopefully not leading to what happened last time.

"I'm not really the kind of person you'd want to train with." She stopped the tackle with a raise of her foot, releasing his arm and in the same move, kicking him back.
"I'd probably kill you, or wound you enough to be unable to attend. Can't really train with anyone without hurting them so... Tao Tao's my only option. I'll be attending that tournament too." She walked to him, staring down, "Unless ya got a trick up your sleeve, cutie." She winked her functioning eye.

Getting kicked back he stumbled before falling backwards and staring at her as she explained that training would only wound him hence her training with Tao Tao. She mentioned herself being in the tournament which only made him frown a bit. Standing up she stated that unless he had a trick it was pretty much over. He remained silent as she said this and would jump backwards to the point it was blurry for her to see him before and would do the hand seals. He hesitated a bit beofre rushing forward getting close enough to stare deep into her eyes. They were actually kind of pretty.
Yet what she would see would be pitch black besides the few clones of Kazumo that had her arms and legs wrapped in chains. "This should be normal for you right? Seeing nothing? Only capable of seeing what directly infront of you right? What if.... You couldn't see at all?" One of the clones would say as another walked right up to her placing one hand on her face before slamming a needle straight through her left eye. He would then yank it out and hold the eye between his fingers and hold it in front of her right eye. "Although I should probably yank out the one that can actually see." The clone said before popping the eye in his fingers and slamming another needle through her right eye.

Monaka was thrown into a state of alarm when the world before her turned black. What the hell? Was this some type of trick? She stared at the clones as they spoke, having a puzzled look on her face. Huh, so he was just doing a little trick... She tried to move her arm to punch, but due to thinking she's in chains, she couldn't move.
"W-what the hell?" She said with a panicked tone. The eerie tone only scared her more. She felt the hand on her face, having a look of shock when she saw the needle. She felt it plunge into her left eye, her shouting in pain. She saw as her own bloody, scarred eyeball was between his fingers. Her terror only rose. When he said he'd yank her functioning eye out, she let out a scream.
"No... No no no no no no no- AAAHHH!" She screamed when the needle stuck into her right eye. She wanted to cry, but her body wouldn't create tears. All she could do is grit her teeth and try to bear the pain.

"So whats it like seeing true darkness? It must have been terrifying when you could only see the little you could and now.... poof, gone just like that." The clone said before a needle was slammed into the middle of her back."What if you were a blind crippled? So helpless, needing to rely on others just to keep on living. Wasting everyones time with your needs, all because you can no longer do them yourself. As soon as the clone said that ten more needles would be slammed stright down her back piercing right on through her spine. "Oh mind if I cut out your tongue? Since you are going to need people to care of you for the rest of your life. You might as well as them take care of every need." Giving her no choice a clone pried open her jaw and another clone would keep stabbing a needle inside her mouth, until he could yank the tongue out with ease. "On second thought.... I really don't need it. The clone said dropping it on the floor.

"Horrible... Horrib- GAH!" She cried out when her back was stabbed. What was going on? What was going on? She couldn't see him anymore... Her heart was beating so fast it might as well have lept from her throat. How much was she bleeding right now? She let out another pained scream as more needles met sharp end to flesh and bone.
"No... Not my t-" She was cut off when he pried her mouth open, tasting blood as it was stabbed and yanked from her mouth. She would be "choking" on her own blood if she were lying down, but as far as she knew her head was hanging, allowing the volume of "blood" to hit the floor.
"Ooh... Orree..." She breathed out. She felt like she was suffocating, her body twitching from the pain she felt, although fake.

"Oh remember how you blocked my punch earlier? The clone asked before ten more needles were thrusted into her body. Each one missing her heart on purpose. He would then place a needle up her nose and would whisper in her ear. "You like it rough right? the clone asked before pushing the needle upwards tearing through the inside of her nose and coming out the bridge of the nose. "My my if you could only see how much of your blood is on the ground. You would marvel at its pretty color. Oh Im sorry was marvel to big for you? I'll use pretty instead." Kazumo stated before placing a needle under her index finger nail on her left hand and rammed it forward tearing right through the nail and skin pretty much spliting the finger open. "Im being nice right now, letting you hear me.... I feel you should just wait in anticip- Oh big word. you should just wait for the surprise." The clone said before two needles were thrusted inside each ear piercing through the ear drums and every little system along the way.

Her screams came out gargle-sounded and strange as the needles barely missed her heart. Torture, this was pure torture... Her eyelids twitched as she felt a needle up her nose. It slightly tickled, but she knew what was gonna happen. She could make noises of disagreement, as to try to convince the clone not to raise the needle up.
Her cries were unheard.
His sentence made her wonder, how much of her blood was on the ground? She felt like she died on the spot. She only flinched when the next needle split her finger open. The amount of blood she thought she was losing made her weak and tired, enough to be unable to cry out in pain. She felt consciousness escape her, sweat beginning to bead on her face. Her body felt cold, hearing his final words before he destroyed her eardrums.

Despite the fact her heraing should be destroyed she would be able to make out slight sobbing sounds that werent her own. In fact she would find herself being perfectly fine. Kazumo would look at ground as he shook his head. "Sorry... sorry. Sorry! Kazumo kept uttering before he took off running. Why did he do that? He only just met the woman and he just ups and uses genjutsu on her? Shit she must think hes an asshole for doing that to her. Geesh what kind of shinobi would he be if he felt pity for using what was natural for him?

When reality resurfaced, she stared directly at the sobbing Kazumo before he went running away. Her mind felt like it stalled from the shock, her skin pale and cold sweat running down. She then fell onto her back, gasping for proper ventalation, feeling everywhere that had been stabbed. She... She was okay... What was that, Genjutsu? Of course... That was her prime weakness. Mind games didn't sit well with her. When her mind caught up to reality, which was a good minute, she walked to where he ran off to.
"Kazumo?" She said with a hint of fragility to her voice, "C-come out, I can't see you if you hide- well. No one would be able to."

He had so many question that he would need to ask Aiko next time he saw her. He might get scolded for even randomly using genjutsu on a person but he needed to know if she ever felt pity when doing them. Seriously what the hell was going on today? How did this even happen? He then heard her voice which startled him a bit as he listened to her speak. He remained silent and in hiding before poking his head out from behind a tree. "You don't... hate me? Or did you chase me to yell at me? Its reasonable to do such I put you through a tremendous amount of pain. You have every right to denounce me and hate every fiber of my being. Yet I am sorry for doing that...." Kazumo explained before walking out from behind the tree. Just in case she wanted to hit him fro doing such a horrible thing.

She took a deep breath in, putting her hands on her hips, walking over to the boy. She seemed that she would have beaten him up on the spot, but she did no such thing.
"Do you expect me to hate you if you plowed a kunai knife through my hand?" She asked, "Do you really expect me to hate you if you struck down my Lion Dog?" Her eye narrowed, "Do you, really, expect me to hate you if you blotted out my other eye?" She then shut her eye, then grinned.
"I can't hate anyone. I'll be mad, but I can't hate. Hate is a strong word, and it can't describe anything in my rage." She smiled, "So even if you did all of that to me, I wouldn't hate you. I'd be mad, but I wouldn't hate you."

She started bringing up example asking if she expected her to hate him for said incidents. All of which he would pretty much think would result in him getting hated for. Yet she stated that she didnt hate anyone. She would be mad but wouldn't hate. Yet despite what the genjutsu did, if he ever did that she would only be mad at him? He shook his head at her frowning slightly. "You are way too nice to people..... So you said you were going to be in the tournament right? Do you know what team number? Kazumo asked her, although he still couldn't help but feel like a asshole.

"Uh... Nope. And I so am not." Her face dropped into a frown, "Y'know what, I also say that because I don't have the right to hate anyone." Her intact blue eye clouded over, "I've done some things, and those would be more deserving of hate than a simple mindgame."

She didn't know what team she was on? That was odd for someone partaking in it after all. Yet when she said his genjutsu was simple his eyes widened. "S-simple? I thought months on that Genjutsu though! Its just simple? Shit I have more work to do." Kazumo said slightly pouting as looked at her. "So are you mad at me then? Im confused right now? Normally people aren't happy when they are put into a genjutsu and then forcibly stabbed. Geesh you really do like it rough.." Kazumo said slightly skeptical of this woman now, she really was odd as hell.

"No no... That Jutsu was..." She held her left eye, the right one opening in shock as she remembered everything that occurred in the illusion. She seemed on the verge of a panic attack.
"...Wow..." Her skin paled and she gagged, turning around and collapsing onto all fours, gagging and then vomitting on the ground.
"O-Oh my god..." She coughed, cold sweat arriving once more,
"It... It... Haaaahh..." She looked as if she was going to straight up faint, "I-I... I-I'm n-not ma-ad..." She then made a belching noise, beginning to dry heave.

Ah shit it had more of an effect than it seemed. Well on the bright side his genjutsu was good, shit side.... He had no way on knowing how to solve someone from loosing their shit. He started to shake his hands in the its okay you can stop manner, but that really wouldn't cut it. Shit the woods never trained him for, curse his father for not teaching him human interactions. When she vomited he only felt even worse as he walked over and rubbed her back. Maybe if he changed the subject she would not freak out. H-Hey you showed great strength, did you get that strong all by yourself. Wait I mean Did anyone help you get that strong?" Kazumo asked hoping she would stop puking and freaking out. His father was getting such a hate message for not giving proper social upbringings.

"I-I'm fine..." The shaken up girl breathed deeply as to calm down. She scooted away from the pile of vomit she just made, listening to Kazumo's question.
"...I trained myself. Tao Tao had a hand in it, but most of it was myself." Her hand tightened into a fist, "I needed to get stronger, instead of wallowing in my own self pity, y'know?"

"Yeah I think if a huge ass Lion dog helped train you, that you would be physically strong. And now comes the big question. How did i end up kicking the ground when you didnt even do any handseals!" Kazumo asked with a annoyed smile on his face, hes kicked and hit literally nothing but metal and the ground since hes started training. It was bound to break him.

"Oh that?" She smiled, "Kekkei Genkai. Sure I can do Earth and Fire Release, but I can control just a bit more than that without handseals." She stomped her foot on the ground, a chunk of rock flying from the earth and landing in the space it jumped from. The ground beneath it was like it was always there and never came from the ground.
"Of course, I can't do anything too elaborate or it'll drain the heck outta my chakra." She lifted the stone from the ground, "But, I can do this much without a significant amount of it lost." The rock suddenly changed shape, to resemble a rather crumbly looking fish.

This almost seemed wrong, she just gave away details just like that, despite the fact they would be foes in the tournament. And she only continued giving more details which made him frown. "You really shouldn't give away too much detail about what you can do you know. We are going to be opponets in the tournament. So to make it fair, I know Earth release as well, mine being more useful for sneaking though than damaging. Although I could use it to suffocate people." Kazumo lectured as poked her forehead. "Seriously and you are suppose to be my superior..." Kazumo said sighing as he leaned back against the tree sliding down to the ground.

She chuckled, dropping the stone fish and allowing it to sink back into the earth, "Hey, wouldn't make much of a difference." She gave him a little smile, "Who knows? We might be fighting side by side." She seemed like she'd like that.
"But really, what caused you to use that..? Some sort of weird instinct thing you genjutsu people have?"

This woman really was a cocky one huh? She gave away her Kekkei Genkai and then goes around saying it wouldn't make much of a difference. She then stated that they could very well be fighting side by side, which made him shrug. "Yeah that wouldn't be awkward at all. Well I rather have someone I atleast know slightly than a total stranger. He stated before her question of why did he even do that came up. He frowned slightly as he knew why but he still didn't like the feeling he got from doing it on her. "Well I really have no confidence in myself when it comes to upclose fighting and ninjutsu I can do, yet I have no attacking one. Then comes the field I'm somewhat gifted in, Genjutsu. Its really the only way I can fight and win, as you saw by my failed attempts at hitting you. Genjutsu for me makes things simplier."

"Hmm..." She put her hand on her chin, "I think I know something that could help us both. Maybe you can train with me..." She began to walk in circles, as in trying to think something out. After five minutes, she looked towards him.
"Okay, okay. How about this. You wanna train with your Genjutsu and stuff, right? But i'm not that good with... Not freaking out with it, right? So maybe you could teach me about it, and... W-well... Y'know! Helpful stuff?"

As she began to think of something, he watched her with a curious gaze as she suggested training with her. That was nice and all but he really didnt offer anything in return to make someone stronger. That was when she suggested training in genjutsu. This prompted a shocked look as he waited for her to say she was joking, which she never did. She wnated help with not freaking out over them which was pretty much impossible.
"I mean I can help you escape them better but not freaking out over them is something I just can't help. Thats their purpose in life, to freak you out. Make you think whats not real is real. You can know straight up its a genjutsu but that doesn't stop it from being terrifying. The only way to not freak out is having no emotions. Besides do you really want me to genjutsu you again?" Kazumo asked her since normally not many were very willing to be subjagated to the technique. he was willing to but that was to better understand it.

"I don't know a better word for it, mmkay?" She crossed her arms, "Y-you know what I mean..." She actually turned away and blushed a bit, "B-but yeah, i'm willing. It'll help, sort of." She then plopped into a sitting position, "Starting tomorrow, maybe?"

Again he gave a curious expression at her not having a better word for it. A better word for what? Understanding Genjutsus better? So when she said he knew what she meant he had to chuckle enrvously as he had no clue what this entire day was. All he knew was a simple walk through the woods turned into a ten on a what the fuck scale. Yet when she said she was willing he remained silent as she plopped onto the ground asking if tomorrow was okay.
"Sure thats fine with me.... Are you really sure though? Genjutsus are meant to break a persons will after all.....Experiencing them does help in the long run when you face users in the art but still, they aren't fun to be put under. Mostly when they have meaning to them. Kazumo asked wanting to make sure that she really wnated to go through with this. Since if he felt bad doing it to someone he didn't really know that well, then she must have felt much much worse.

"Hey, first time for everything. As I said I want to get stronger. I'd do anything." She suddenly leaned into his face, "Anything." She looked absolutely insane in that moment, before backing off.
"So, tomorrow. This spot. Mid day. Don't forget. Cya!" She ran off, but she appeared rather slow.

This was her odd way of getting stronger and sure in a way it would get her stronger mentally, yet he could of done without the sudden appearing in front of his face. He would have moved backwards but the tree behind him kind of prevented that. Yet she ehrself backed off which made him exhale in relief before she stated what time they were meeting tomorrow. Then she ran off..... or jogged.... maybe a really slow brisk walk. It was kind of funny in a way, yet he stood up and dusted himself off, before walking back home.
"I really need to learn social interactions." He told himself so next time he wouldn't be left utterly mindfucked himself.

Shintaro puffed when his question went unanswered. 'Women...' He thought with a roll of his eyes.
"Shintaro Kisaragi." He responded to the two girls. As they walked on, he knew things wouldn't go well. Missions never went well for him, so he wondered why he even bothered to stay a shinobi when all he could do is be a nuisance.
"Ehm... So... Hows... Stuff?" Another weak edge in Shintaro's character, conversation making.

Ayame Yukiteru
Team 3 Genin | Kumogakure

Ayame was panting by time they were told to stop. Such a long time to travel, though she was happy her animals at least got to have some rest, the critters now clinging throughout her jacket, or head.
"Come on out Chibi, you need to stretch your legs." She told the pup as she crawled from her jacket pocket and onto the ground. Chibi immediately began to bark and howl at her, scratching at her legs.
"Shh, shh. What is it?" She picked the white ball of fluff up, stroking her head.
"Hungry." The pup barked in somewhat good english. It was undestandable at least.
"Oh, don't worry, we can get some food for you... Uhmmm..." She gently pried the little pup's mouth open. With closer inspection she could see some sharp white objects protruding from the pup's gums. She could survive another day without milk, right? Yeah, she'd be okay...

"I-I'll go find some sticks..!" She called out, "I... I can light a... fire..." She spoke in a much lower tone that time, walking away while putting Chibi on the ground, the pup following her.
As she went to stick collecting, she was taking careful note of what type of bug was around, or on the small pieces of wood. She knew that wolves did eat things besides meat, like berries and insects, but she wasn't too knowledgable about berries and didn't want to accidentally poison Chibi, so insects were the next best thing. She mostly looked around for grasshoppers, which was a notable one, since squishing up worms would be pretty vomit-enducing.
"Come on... Come on..." She whispered as she held the bundle of sticks. She then saw Chibi suddenly run in front of her, looking up and wagging her tail. She had a big one in her mouth which was trying to squirm away.
"Good job Chibi! I'd pet you but I have a bunch of sticks in my hands... Don't open your mouth til we're back, okay?" She said with a soft smile as she walked back with her.

Team 11 Jounin | On the Road

"As Kuni said, we are not going to the bandits' leader, mister Uchiha, because our goal is not to search and destroy. Also we don't know the situation in this town nor do we know exactly what happened or where the bandits are. We don't even know if they are still around. We just know that this village called for help and we are here to answer and figure out what is going on. If everything goes well I am hoping that we don't have to see any bandits any time soon."

With that said Eiji turned back to Kuni. He nodded as she said she would tell him later. Stories were better told by a fire and over a warm nice cup of tea and he was a patient man.

The four of them sped through the forest, through the grassland until their reached the mountains. Eiji let them up a rather steep trail that let to one of the highest mountains in the area. Through the light drizzle they could see the snowy tops shimmer in the light of the afternoon. It wouldn't be very late when they arrived at a plateau that had been formed by forces of nature and human hands. Several dozen small houses were scattered around a small river that trickled down from the mountain. As it was turning dark fast in the mountains the lights had already been lit. Small sparks of light splashed against the mountain wall. The road Eiji and his team were on ran straight through the middle of the village all the way to a set of stairs in the end that let even further up the mountain.

Eiji beckoned his team to slow down. As they walked forward several people out on the street watched them, but soon they went back to their own business. Strangers were not so strange over here. Not long ago this village had been a massive pull for all kinds of people. The shrine was said the be one of the most beautiful in the land. But now business had gone down, the people had returned to a slower life.

With rather certain footsteps Eiji guided his team to a lodging house half way the main road. "It is late so we are staying here for the night. I don't want to inconvenience the priest by arriving on his doorstep when he is heading for bed," he said as he opened the door of one of the larger houses of the town.

The interior lay silent before them as they entered, lights dimmed as if no one was home. Nevertheless he pressed on the small bell that stood on the counter and waited. Nothing happened. For a good minute Eiji was afraid that this lodging had gone out of business. That would mean a night outside and at this height that was not something he fancied too much. But then the door behind him opened and a man stepped inside. He seemed surprised at their presence but quickly moved to the counter. "Sorry," he said. Tiredness was clear in his voice. "I hope you haven't been waiting long. A room, I presume?" He searched for a pen.

Eiji smiled. "No problem," he replied. "Yes, we would like a room for four if those are still available."

The man huffed slightly. "Yeah we got those. Name?"

After Eiji had given up his details and after the man had introduced himself as Tamotsu Yaru, they were let to their room. It was a simple square one with tatami matts on the floor and four foutons neatly folded up at the side.

"If you need anything, let me know. We serve breakfast at eight." With that the man pulled the door shut and left the team alone. Eiji dropped his bag and walked to one of the foutons. "Well," he said, looking to the rest of the team. "Let's get this made and then you," he pointed to Kuni, "are going to tell me how it was."

Hanako Asushika
Kumo Team 3 Chuunin
A simple task

Hanako came to a stop and watched as everyone went off, they were capable doing simple things. Shaking her head a bit, she began to set up the tents. She started with her own, making sure it was set up right and then she started to set up Kin's. He was the only in her team that was in the team from before as everyone else had moved on somehow. She guessed it didn't matter much but she was grateful that he stuck around. A familiar face was always nice to have and to be able to rely on.

She then started on Natsuo's tent, he seemed to be the energetic one out of the two new ones. There should be a bunch of laughter with him in the team and it made her smile a little. It was nice to see that there were kids who still had enough joy in their lives. Finishing his tent, Hanako moved on to Satoshi's tent and set it up as best she could. He was after all the sensei.

Lastly, she went to set up Ayame's tent. Pausing, she wondered if she should as the girl was timid and might take it the wrong way. She took a moment to think about it before deciding to set her tent up. Hanako noticed how terribly afraid Ayame was of really of being around them. So she set it up the tent about a foot or so away from theirs. She hoped it would make her feel more comfortable having some space.

Going back to her own tent, she sat cross-legged in front of it in a meditative state and closed her eyes as she focused on the sound of her breathing.

Katsu Uchiha, Konohagakure Chuunin
Home

The morning after the wedding, Katsu continued to shut himself in. The blinds were shut again, but light was no longer amiss inside. Even some flashes of light were able to seep outside from time to time, shining especially brightly at night. The next day, he slept till the afternoon with the blinds and the windows open. After preparing a late breakfast, he started tidying the house, putting the scrolls away with a certain label on each.

Summary :
The test of Aiko Cho-Hon for Koike Hon. The young man gets one last and probably not too surprising test in order to be let go as a student. At least, sort off...

Heading to the training field, Koike had his hands pocket into his pants. Wearing the flak jacket of the Guardians, he had just been doing some paper and organization work at Azumi. It was after all part of his occupation as a lieutenant of the organization. But he had received a note from Aiko. It was a bit unexpected, but not really something to bothered him. Arriving on the field, Koike glanced around.

"Glad you could come on such short notice."

There were several shuriken heading towards the back of Koike as a person in the shadow of a tree dropped on the ground. Already a brief glint would likely reveal more shuriken being thrown at the young man.

Rolling to the right as he heard the projectiles, Koike narrowed his eyes. A shuriken almost grazed his shoulder pad, but he focused on the incoming other projectiles. With a quick movement, he would use the left arm guard in order to deflect the shuriken as he ran his chakra briefly through it.

"Nice. I see that you're still not easy to catch off guard, Koike." Flashing a smile as the person walked out of the shadow, a young boy with short white hair rubbed his neck. "Heh." The boy lowered his hand as he would then gesture to the arm guards. "Nice combination." He gestured to the arm guards. "Figured that they weren't just for the show."

The person made Koike slightly raise his right eyebrow. The image of Miharu didn't do that much anymore, but he was slight confused for a moment. "Yeah. But I suppose that this isn't just going to be a chit chat meeting, hm?" Koike asked in return.

The image of Koike deceased-twin brother vanished as Aiko would reveal herself. "No, I hope you don't mind. Haven't got much time, but with today I wanted to not let this chance slip by. It has been a long time after all that I had a chance to get you to do a spar. Hope you won't mind a small test with it." The woman suggested.

Gesturing to the shuriken that were on the ground. "I suppose it has already started?" Koike asked in return, but he would continue. "But it is okay. I don't have much else to do than just some simple chores." He paused for a second. "I must apologize. I've not bring much of my gear with me." He further said.

"That is okay. We can't always be prepared. And what better time to test you when you're not expecting anything, no?" Aiko friendly asked. Placing her left hand on her hip, she eyed him. "How is Katsu by the way doing? I haven't spoken that recently with him. Had expected to see him at the wedding last time."

Koike rubbed his chin. It was dumb to assume that he could lower his arm for even a second with Aiko taking a relaxed pose. She wasn't somebody to just underestimate and he should know that as one of the best an ex-member of Team 8. "He is doing fine. Been a bit worried that he needs somebody to watch over him, but not me."

"Why not?" Aiko asked in return, her voice making it clear she was a bit surprised by his answer. "You see him as your little brother now, don't you? Who else would be better to help him to know how it is to live on his own than you? I'm sure---" She wanted to continue, but Koike shook his head.

"No. He has an older sister who might want to do that. That and I believe the only mentor he should look up to is you. I haven't done much to teach him what a shinobi is nor an assassin." Koike answered in return. He was starting to get slight anxious. He could make a first move, but what should he do? To their right was a small river. At his back were trees as they were standing on a grass field. If anything, he was at a major disadvantage here.

Aiko seemed to consider something. "That might be true. But I fear that I've not been that great of a sensei to either of you two." Letting out a sigh, Aiko smiled. "I suppose that trying to distract you with talking is clearly something that isn't going to help."

"No, not really. Sorry." He replied back. "It is going to start..."

"Worth trying a shot. Here we go then." With ending the sentence, Aiko would spread her feet by a bit. Generating and moulding chakra at her left hand, which she opened, the woman would make a movement with her arm. A sharp gust of wind would be directed towards Koike, aimed at his mid-section.

Quickly rolling to the right, Koike could hear the cracking sound behind him. The attack likely had cut through a tree. Meaning that it wasn't time to joke around. Already another crescent of sharp air was moving towards him. With a quick move, Koike would lean a bit forwards as he would attempt to dodge further attacks.

After her last attack, Aiko would take a breath in. Raising her right arm up, she would form the Seal of Confrontation with her left hand. Moulding her chakra in order to summon forth a thick mist unto the field, Aiko kept her eyes locked on the young man.

"Shit." Realizing what the next step would likely be as he knew that Aiko would take away his senses one by one, he would start to mould his chakra. His ability wouldn't neutralize or make the mist vanish. But that wasn't the purpose. His sight started to shorten as the mist would grow thicker and thicker.

Silently moving, Aiko would start to weave another streak of handsignals. Doing the nine required handsignals, she would crouch and pick up two pebbles. Flowing the chakra into the pebbles, the Hell Bell Genjutsu would start. Waiting as she didn't want to just rush and potentially make a too big mistake, Aiko wondered what Koike would do now.

It was silent. And for some reason it was more eerie than anything else. Glancing around, he was sure that blowing the mist away wouldn't be that effective. It would cost more chakra in attempt to drive it away than for Aiko to likely keep it in place. Relying on his other senses, he chewed on his lower lip as he continued to mould his chakra. Hopefully...

The kunai came in fast from his right. With a quick dodge, Koike lowered himself. Grabbing one kunai by the handle, he was forced to look at front of him. Barely in time was he able to defend himself against the first attack as Aiko appeared out of the mist with the intention to kick him, raising his right arm.

"Nice!" She mumbled, feeling her shin connecting with his shoulder and arm, blocking her kick. Pulling her leg back, the woman would move backwards, lifting up the kunai she was holding.

Grunting a bit, Koike wouldn't allow her to get back. His right hand dropped the kunai, which his left grabbed out of the air. With Aiko moving backwards, the young man lowered his right arm as the kunai was thrown towards Aiko.

Cocking her head to the right, the kunai moved past the cheek of the woman. It was a close call and it forced her to get on the defensive as Koike would come in the attempt to close in the short distance between them both.

Knowing full well that he would go under in a straight taijutsu fight against Aiko, Koike would attempt to grab her by the wrist. A move he would regret as Aiko's left hand was moved back. Her right grabbed his forearm, about to twist and force him to the ground.

Feeling her fingers twirl and tighten a grip on his forearm, Koike's right eye narrowed. Focusing, he would attempt to kick the woman's right knee with a fast kick. Missing as Aiko stepped aside to avoid getting kicked, Koike would put his foot down firmly and attempt to tackle her down.

"Oef!"

Landing hard on her back, the woman however turned into water at the moment of the impact. Scurrying up on his feet, Koike glanced around. He should've known. As if Aiko would ambush him and let him get close with just risking herself.

"Impressive you can still hear. First time that somebody has ever managed to uncover how to block out the Hell Bell genjutsu."

Slowly the mist would vanish as Aiko stood on the same spot as before. She had her right eyebrow raised. "Which is sort of strange to think of it. The genjutsu is isn't able to be broken with the traditional manner as I've constructed the formula and use in a way that it will keep harassing the opponent unless they move out of the barrier." Something he hadn't been.

Remaining silent, Koike was tempted to answer that he had been unsure of it too. His chakra leeching ability had came in handy as it would literally leech out foreign chakra and 'mould' it into chakra that he could add to his own reserve. Instead of furthering moulding his chakra to utilize his ability, a blue aura would start to surround the arm guards of Koike.

A silence would dawn on the field, a breeze moving the grass for a moment.

Pulling out two kunai, Aiko would throw them up. Catching one with her left hand, she would lean forwards. Throwing the kunai towards the young man's right shoulder, she would then follow up with throwing the other at his stomach area.

Moving his right arm to block and deflect the first thrown kunai, he noticed the second kunai. With his arm even slightly up, he had created an opening! Stepping aside, he could hear the sharp blade moved across the side of his flak jacket. If the specialized jacket for the Guardians wasn't of better material and made, he would've likely been off worse. Focusing his attention back on Aiko, he tried to figure out a way to beat her. There had to be a way without relying too much on his chakra leeching ability.

Pulling out another kunai, Aiko was closing in the distance. Her left hand would grab out several shuriken and throw them towards Koike in order to further keep him on the defensive. Which worked as Koike would step again quickly aside as he raised his arms.

Evading the strikes and jabs from Aiko's kunai, Koike tried to wait for an opening. A thud sounded as the kunai was blocked against the left arm guard of Koike. Locking the blade with his guard, Koike raised his right leg in order to try to kick Aiko backwards.

"Ugh."

The foot in his stomach drove him back. Dropping the kunai, Aiko would switch over to pure taijutsu. Delivering a fast punch with her left fist, she would then pull her arm back as her right leg moved forwards in a sweep.

Blocking the kick, Koike licked his lips as he would attempt to punch back. Catching the fist, she would loosen her grip as she would quick pivot. Her hand grabbed his wrist again as the elbow of her left arm would move towards the young man's face.

Stumbling backwards, Koike panted. Wiping off his mouth, he raises his hands slightly again. Aiko skid forwards as she would raise her left leg. Moving it up, the high kick was blocked by Koike's right forearm. In a rapid movement, the woman would lower her leg and kick again, this time her shin firmly contacting his side.

Grabbing and locking Aiko's leg, Koike would use his weight to bring her to the ground with him as his right foot would kick the shin of her right leg.

Landing on the ground, Aiko blinked twice, only to continue her assault. Grabbing Koike by the shoulders, she would pull herself closer, driving her knee into his stomach. Closing his right eye, Koike pulled his head a bit back, only to slam his forehead against Aiko's.

For a moment, both were just on the ground, both in pain.

Rolling away, Koike would get up as he picked his stance back up again. Following his example, Aiko briefly smiled. Then she would follow up with a high kick with her left leg. Blocking the kick, Koike would attempt to step forwards. But as he did so, Aiko would lower herself and pivot around, sweeping the young man off his feet with her left leg.

Landing on his back, Koike kept his legs up. Driving Aiko back with a kick in her stomach, Koike would roll backwards to get on his feet. Not allowed a moment's rest, the woman was back on attacking him. Though holding his ground for the moment, he needed his full attention to not get his ass further handed over to him.

Coughing, Aiko wiped the sweat of her forehead. Sitting on her rear, she panted as she leaned backwards. Her gaze moved to the young man next to her. "You really have grown quite, heh." She said, patting Koike's shoulder. The fight had ended in a draw and she didn't feel sorry for it.

"T-Thanks." He mumbled. At the moment he wasn't too sure if he could consider himself alive. She had really not held back and he was sure that he would be able to count on some bruises on his body due to Aiko's punches and kicks. He was quite proud that he had been able to keep up with her taijutsu, but at the moment, he was a bit too tired to really be able to be proud over it.

"Really doubt that I can teach you anything that I can offer. You make me proud, Koike." Aiko said after some moments of silence. A smile graced her features as she would lay on her back. [/color]"Though not very surprising. You're a specialized jounin by right. I do---"[/color]

"Thanks, Aiko-sama." Koike said, his voice soft but still audible for her to hear.
"...." Glancing at the young man for a second, who was laying on his back with his eyes closed, Aiko smiled more as she also closed her eyes. "You're welcome." She did briefly wonder how he had been able to neutralize the Hell Bells genjutsu. "I think you earned this." Her right hand moved to a pouch. Pulling a out a small scroll, she held it up to him.

Opening his right eye half, Koike frowned as he would slowly take the scroll. "What is it?" He asked, eyeing the small scroll. Aiko let out a loud sigh.
"Information on how to form the Hell Bell genjutsu. I figured that it would be a fitting genjutsu for you. Last sort of thing I could pass on as I really have little else to teach you from this point on."

He remained silent. The Hell Bell Genjutsu? Koike wasn't sure how to respond back. It was a genjutsu that he dreaded to be the victim off as it was one of the peskiest genjutsu that couldn't be reversed back or be broken out unless one knew that it was actually a barrier genjutsu. Clenching the scroll tightly in his hand, he wondered about something. "May I ask you something?"

"Yes, of course." Aiko replied, hoping he was happy with the scroll. Blowing a few strands out of her face, the woman would listen to his question. Only for her to glance sideways at him, a bit worried.

"I... During the escort mission in the province of the River, I happened to kill a man. Not with any weapon, but I happened to pull and drag out his chakra. I didn't know how I did it at first. I only remember that I wanted him dead and then that he ... started to scream." Pausing, Koike kept staring at the scroll. "I've studied it a bit and there are quite some... menacing tales about chakra leechers."

It became quiet after he finished talking. Aiko turned her gaze to the clear blue sky. "How many do know of this?" She asked, her voice making it clear she was cautious.
"Only Katsu so far, I think. We don't talk about it though. I prefer... not to. But sometimes it is bothering me. I get the urge to do it." Was his answer in return.

It caused Aiko to grow silent again. She knew that some people had the 'gift' to form handsignals with one hand to mould chakra. That people had the talent to awaken kekkei Genkei such as Wood Release. But a person born or unlocking the ability to leech chakra? She remembered some stories with people who had such an ability. It never ended well for them. But now she had an idea on how he had managed to neutralize the Hell Bell genjutsu.

"Its okay. Just keep it between us. Not everybody needs to know this." She flashed a warm smile in his direction. Ruffling his hair, she let out a chuckle. "But now on more pressing matters. When can I expect you and Korina to ma---"

"No!"
"Oh come on! You two would b---"
"I'm not going to think about that!"
"Yet?~"
"Ugh! Not any time soon! Aiko-sama!"
"Hahahahaha!"

Summary: Monoka requests training on how to combat Genjutsu, so Kazumo tries his best to teach her the basic.
[spoili][/spoili]
[spoili]
Arriving at the location the Monoka girl spoke up but arriving slightly earlier, he would sit down leaning back against the tree. He was wondering just how on earth he a Genin planned to teach a Chunnin to shit themselves less when in a genjutsu. Not even a couple of weeks ago did he not just learn about the basics of Genjutsu. He guess he could start there, but really he wasn't the best choice for genjutsu training, well in her case genjutsu defense. Thinking about it he could have probably came a little late and still have been here first, she didn't seem to be the speedy type. More so the power type, which only made him wonder why all these women were into being muscularly built.

Monaka stretched her arms up as she walked. Oy... Was she late? She was sure it was ten or something when she left, right? Yeaaahhh... She decided to not bring her hulking mass of innocence and potential destruction, since he may attack Kazumo if she ended up doing a lot of screaming. She skipped doing any physical training so she'd have all her energy for this. Walking to the area they had disembarked the day before, she lit up when she saw him; which was actually only five feet away.
"Heeeyyy! Kazzy!" She called to him. She never called anyone by their first name, much less nicknamed. She only did it to people she respected or liked.
"Was I late?" She actually looked much nicer without a bunch of mud and sweat all over her body.

As he waited she appeared walking towards him less muddy and sweaty than before which was fine and dandy, so he waved but was meet with silence until she we within reaching distance really. Then she shouted a nickname at him which startled him at the sudden call to the point he was quiet as he stared at her.
"H-hey Monoka.... And no your about on time.... He replied but was now curious just how blind she was. He wasn't that far away when she shouted his eardrum out, her eyes must have been damaged more than he thought. Yet she still wanted to be a shinobi despite sight being a very big assest. He patted the ground in front of him but then wondered if she even saw that, he kind of hoped she wasn't that blind.

"Oh. Great!" She said, seeing as his hand went to pat the ground. She couldn't properly catch the patting but she knew what he meant. Walking over and sitting down in the spot, she sat criss-cross with her hands on her thighs.
"So, what should I know first?" She said, leaning in with a curious look. With closer inspection, one could notice her left eye was extremely out of focus, pointing more to the ground, while her right eye was pointed directly at him.

When she sat down she asked the obvious question of what she needed to know first which made him hold up his finger to signal to wait a second. "Well as my sensei asked me, what do you know about Genjutsu? That will help judge where you are with it. He asked smiling slightly as he felt a bit happy at the thought of him teaching someone.

Monaka stared at him absentmindedly as he asked the question that his sensei had asked him.
"Uhhhhh..." She said with a rather long tone of confusion, "...That it... Makes you see and feel stuff you wouldn't like..?" God that was half assed. She wanted to punch herself in the face with how stupid she sounded. She turned away quietly to express her embarassment.

Her explanation made him silent as he thought of a way to explain it. She pretty much knew nothing about it...That was fine though, she didnt do genjutsu but studying it a bit more would have been helpful. "I see.... Well first off genjutsu consist of Yin and Yang chakra. Yin is the image and Yang is also the image and pretty much everything else. Like Tao Tao for example. Just himself would be Yin chakra, but if you add Yang chakra to give him his personality and sound you can then make him move around and act just like he regularly would. Get it so far?"

"Uh yeah... Kinda." She had a little bit of a puzzled look, but she mostly got it, "... Complicated." She said under her breath, "A-anyway. Go on." She sat up straight as to continue listening.

He tapped his head to see what bits he could use to explain it to someone with no talent in it. He had to remove a few ways that would be helpful when using it. "Well there are several ways to escape a genjutsu, remembering the basics of Yin and Yang help, but can you name the ways you can escape a genjutsu?"

She slowly shook her head, "Nope... Don't really know shit."

He took a deep breath in at her reply, it was obvious someone fell asleep during those parts of the classes. "Okay, well the obvious release yet knowing the Yin and Yang helps your further when releasing it. Then there is powerful smells, from reality of course. So if Tao Tao has bad gas, then that could be helpful. You can also have an ally pour their chakra into your body to disrupt your flow and break it that way. Don't worry about them knowing or not, they will. You can also face it head on, kinda of risky but sometimes you have too. In the one I put you in, fighting it would have been hard. Yet the advantage of knowing the basic helps strengthen your genjutsus and your defense against them."

"Hmm. Alright." She mumbled, "I think I get it." She cracked her neck, "If that's all, let's do this." She pumped her fist, "B-but if there's more just tell me... It can wait, it can wait." She dropped her hand and quickly composed herself.

She was excited to get started but really there was a mountain load of things to learn about Genjutsu, but he had to see if she truly got it. So like Aiko did with him he will give her examples. Holding out his hands for her to see he moved his index fingers to the right and the blades shot out. He scrapped them against each other creating that annoying metal scrapping sound before retracting them. "So what was the Yin and Yang?"

"Uhh..." She sat for a minute to think. The Yin was the... Image, right?
"Okay um... The Yin was the blades..." She went into another few minutes of hmming, before she figured it out, "And the Yang was them moving and the noise?" She said it as if she wasn't very sure if it was right.

Kazumo smiled and nodded "You got most of it, but I would also include my fingers moving, they sent the blades out. Every bit of detail could matter greatly, yet you got it for the most part Monoka. Now a more tricker example, one you would have to imagine happening. Imagine a Fire ball coming at you. Can you decribe what would be Yin and Yang about it?"

Her expression dropped into a little frown with the next question.
"U-uh..." This was hard! It took her ten minutes of thinking until she said the first thing, "Th-the Yin is... The fireball itself..." She seemed to be, rather dramatically, in pain about thinking about it, "And the Yang... The Yang... Is the... Heat or something?"

"Again very close, but wouldnt a fireball, mostly a offensive one make a certain sound? Yang can be tricky and specific on what the subject is. Take the ocean, the sound of waves crashing against the rocks, the smell it gives off. The foam, every detail could be every important. So I'm going to try a genjutsu on you, not the one I did yesterday though. If it gets too much I'll release it okay?"
He would then do the handseals neccessary and would stare into her eyes, they would then both appear among a burning building. Kazumo would stare at the fire before looking at Monoka and see what she would do.

Monaka nodded. This time... She knew what to do. Sort of...
Looking around, seeing that she had been taken to a burning building. She let in a few deep breaths. Okay, okay, not that bad... Now what t- Wait... She could see just fine...
"No!" Her eyes widened as she heard that familiar, that terrifyingly familiar scream.
It was her mother's scream. She saw what she was screaming at; her father being crushed, by something she was unable to see. No... Not this again...
It was the night of her fourth birthday all over again. No, no... No... It wasn't, it was just a Genjutsu, ri-
She saw her mother impaled once more before her very eyes. She began to hyperventilate, having her hands on her face. She felt the sting of pain when something scratched her eyes, until the scene then repeated itself. She couldn't calm down, she knew it was all fake but she couldn't calm down...
"Daddy please no!" She shouted as she watched her father crushed for the third time by the unseen object.
"MOMMY! MOMMY!" She cried out on the fourth and fifth times. She had forgotten all about it being fake.

Kazumo watched the burning building start to fall to pieces and witnessed the mother get impaled. He never really knew how his own mother died, yet she did. He couldn't know the feeling but it must hurt a lot to see your own parents die before your eyes and not be capable of doing nothing. So when she started pleading and crying he bent down and looked at her. "Don't lose yourself to your emotions, they can be powerful and sometimes that good but it can be negative in this case it is." He spoke to her yet what would happen would be the event playing again, starting with the mothers screams. Just like last time Kazumo stared at her to see what she would do.

Monaka felt like throwing up with seeing this scene over and over. She was so small, so weak, she couldn't do anything but cry until she was blinded again. She kept being carried back to that spot over and over, until she heard Kazumo's voice. She snapped out of her delusion of emotions, and remembered what was going on. It was a Genjutsu, how could she forget that? She didn't even realize that it was going over and over again. What did Kazumo say to do again? Ugh it didn't come to mind... Maybe calming down first would help. She took several deep breaths, shutting her eyes to shield herself from the scarring imagery.
"It's not real... It's... Not real..." She spoke to herself, trying to fight it off.

"Hiding yourself won't stop this from happening Monoka. You can't just cover your eyes and wish it away. Its happened and is happening again. Think about it good and hard Monoka. Kazumo said watching the mother get impaled again, it was almost making himself sick watching it over and over again. Yet this wasn't hurtful for him to witness as inhumane as it was to think, it was her memory all he could do was see it unfold.

Her breathing was shaky and unsteady as she held her head in her hands, weeping profoundly.
"Make it stop... Make it stop... I don't want to see it anymore!" She begged, "I don't want to see this again! I'm so tiny and weak and-a-and I couldn't do anything!" She yelled in admitance, "I don't want it to happen again! I don't want to see it ever again! I can't accept it so why can't it just go away?!"

"Monoka..... Yes you may be a child now, but you have free reign you know? You aren't bound like you were in my last genjutsu. You might not be able to change what was done, yet you are strong enough to make this stop. Remember what i said? If you face it head on you can break it that way. So what if nothing ever happened?" Kazumo asked and when the scene replayed Kazumo grabbed her little hand and pulled her away before she could get her scars. "See? Altered." He would let go of her hand rush over to the mother and pull her away before she got impaled. "Another thing altered." Kazumo would then vanish from sight and come back with her father. "Altered. This was something I too had to learn, while painful and hurts to see. Sometimes the best course of action is to face it head on.

Monaka felt her heart rolling up her throat as she witnessed the events actually being stopped. The little her only stood there, quiet and confused. She had that feeling again, after so long.
She felt small. Very, very small.
"... Just end the Genjutsu or whatever..." She said with her head bent down and her fists clenched.

He stared and listened to her request and just like that the scene faded and it was just them again. They were back in the woods she was older again and her eye sight returned to what it was. "I apologize. I wnated to see if you would be capable of breaking it. I really dont get to choose with that Genjutsu, it just brings up truamatic experiences." Kazumo said less shooken up than the last time he did the genjutsu on her. It might have been because she was agreeing to it this time.

The girl had broke eye contact the moment the Genjutsu was released.
"It's fine... I just... Hate the feeling I have whenever I remember it." She crossed her arms once more, but seeming rather tense, "Sometimes it just feels like... No matter how hard I push... I'll always feel that way..." She exhaled softly through her nostrils, "Small. Insignificant." It would be a total surprise she even knew that word.

"A normal feeling, even I felt slightly bad witnessing it." He stated and listened to her reasons which made him rub his head. "Again thats normal, yet you won't ever know what you can change unless you do push. The past can't be changed as much as we would love to do such. Yet we shouldn't let those experiences hold us back. I can't say I know the pain of watching my family die, for what I know my mother died from a sickness. Yet as heartless as it sounds, I can't let it affect me I have very little memories of the time when I was young. So instead of regretting what could have been, I push on. Its all we can do no matter how futile it is." He explained softly in the only way he really knew how. He wasn't one for trying to cheer people up, he didn't have enough experiences with it. All he knew was what his father said to do. If someone felt bad just say whats on your mind to them.

"Yeah yeah I know... I know but..." She gritted her teeth, "Normally i'd be fine and not think about it, but when it's just right there... In front of me... I can't contain myself." She sighed, "I don't know what I want to do about how I feel about it. But... I just push away that feeling of tininess away with training, to feel powerful..." She shut her eyes, "I didn't even think that feeling was still in me."

He nodded along as she explained but still the real world was unforgiving It wouldnt stop to please her. "So what about a scenario instead, if it was someone else yet it transpired the same way yours did. Would you cower and wish it away?"

"No... Of course I wouldn't." Her lip quivered, "Not to sound selfish, but if it was that way, it isn't something happening to me..." She felt a little ashamed of how she worded it, but it was true.

"Then as hard as it may be, pretend that it wasn't you in that fire. Pretend it was another girl simply scared. You are much stronger than you were back then. You didn't make it to Chuunin cause they pity you. You are a chuunin cause they felt you were worthy of being one. I can't tell you how to live your life but if you want my opinion. If you don't overcome your past, it will be your demise." Kazumo stated a bit harshly but true in his word. If he was an enemy he wouldn't have been so kind and just let it end like that.

"C-can we just try with that other one..?" She frowned, acting like she completely disregarded everything he just said. Really, she mentally heeded every word and was going to think about it later.

"..... We can, yet do know you will get no choices from your enemies. And they will do a lot more fucked up things with your past than I currently can." Sighing he did the handseals and stare into her eyes and she would then be transported to that black voidless world where she was chained up and incapable of moving. Unlike last time where the clones talked before attacking, all four of them in unison stabbed her in the stomach multiple times, before ripping the flab of flesh open and holding it open with needles. Of course her intensies would try to fall out but the needles kept that from happening. " Oh~! So thats what color someones intestines are! I wonder.... does it hurt when I stab them?" The clone of Kazumo asked before ramming a needle right on into her intensies like it was paper.

When the Genjutsu started, she didn't have the time to build a mental barrier. Struck so soon, damn Kazumo... She coughed what she thought was blood when her stomach area was stabbed. Damn was the pain bad... It was fake. Facing it head on... What should she do here with that?
"Uh... Hey... So." She breathed out, "Having fun... There?"

When she coughed up the blood it splattered on the clones chest staining the jacket in a red color. However before they stabbed again she asked a question which prompted them to stop and look at her oddly. They just stared at her before one looked down and rammed his hand into her open stomach and looked back up. "A bit~." The clone spoke before pulling his hand hand covered in her blood and patted her face. "What about you bat girl? You having fun?" The clone asked and looked into her eyes with a smile while the other three clones proceeded to stab her in the back one after the other.

She grunted when the needles were driven into her back. Doing something else other than focusing on the pain seemed to help.
"I can still see, sort of. And don't do that eyeball shit again." She chuckled, "Not that attractive to tear a lady's eyes out. And to be honest i'd rather be out of these chains without your buddies stabbing me."

The clone started laughing and so did the others as well besides the two holding the chains. The one with the blood splattered on him simply shrugged. "Oh I could always do it again~ Yet since you were kind to ask, I wont do it this time. But the chains... they stay... Or I rip your eyeballs out again and I remove the chains? Oh suck wonderful choices! And if I might say Im a pretty attractive guy, I just.... kill it with the ladies~" After saying that he grabbed a needle and pierced it right on through the nose so it came out horizontally. "See I'm so nice I gave you a free piercing!" Kazumo said laughing before he yanked it out horizontally and tore her nose right on open.

"Hah. Yeah. Puns. That's a pretty shitty one." She said while rolling her eyes, shouting when her nose was pieced yet again. Damn was it hard to ignore the pain... At least she knew what getting stabbed and stuff felt like without it actually happening.
"Not so nice since you're a total pussy." She scoffed, panting, "Havin' me all tied up in chains while you pierce me up? That's a total dick move. What, scared i'll tear your natters off?" She taunted.

the clone chuckled again before giving a sly grin. "Careful what you say. Those words may just be the next place I stab. I doubt you want me shoving a needle up your ass either. I'm kind of twitchy and move around wayyyy to much." So when she taunted, the clone frowned and placed a needle near her left eye. "Someones being a little cocky bitch huh~? Gonna tear my natters off huh? What are you a freaking child? Never heard the word testicles or penis before! Oh look were playing the eye game again! The clone said a little irritated and slammed the needle right on through her eye and yanked it out. The clone then smirked and had another clone pry her mouth open, and simply nodded at her signaling that yes he was going to do what she thought. The clone would then place the eye right in her mouth and the clone would force her to chew it. Yet if she was paying attention she would noticed that the chains hold was weakening and that she could actually wiggle around now.

"Someone seems a little troubled." She smiled with that whisper. She was getting to them, she knew. She screamed through gritted teeth when her eye was once again yanked out, having a sick feeling in her stomach. She had to ride this out... Oh, what were they gonna do? Oh... She felt her eye slithering around in her mouth. Made her feel even sicker when they forced her to chew, but she swallowed it to just get it over with.
"Yuck... Tastes like fleshy grapes without the sweetness..." She gagged, feeling now that she could wiggle in the chains. Hmm, that's nice to know that she has more freedom with it.

"I think thats you, I aint tied up with an open stomach, a torn off nose, a missing eye and a missing ear." The last part might have confused her but it would become clear when he placed a hand on her head and would start stabbing at the ear until it was so badly skewered it no longer even looked like such. He would then grab it and grin at her evily as a clone opened her mouth. "You are going to have some painful ass shits." The clone said jamming the ear into her mouth and once again forcing her to chew, the bones cracking in her mouth would make such a painful sound. Yet with the clones more aggressive nature he was slowly making the ones holding the chain grow an even loose grip.

She guessed why he said that last part; it was obvious he'd tear her ear off when he said so. She gagged when the ear was shoved into her mouth and being forced to chew it. Just swallow it... Just swallow... She painfully swallowed the disgusting-tasting part.
"Nah, I don't think so. This isn't real, anyway." She smiled, "So no painful shits for me, I guess."

The clone frowned and this time instead of stabbing punched her across the face. "Gah you're no fun at all! Fine you want to fight with those wounds right? Well how about one fucking more before you hike up your panties and fight?" The clone seethed before slamming another needle through her right eye and left it there. The chains would then become loose, yet she would instead find herself back in reality, with Kazumo waving at her. "So... did you have fun?" It was kind of a smartass question. Hence him smiling at her knowing full well it probably wasn't at all enjoyable. "Yet you got the right idea, facing it head on does work sometimes yet not all the time. You probably could have broken that with the whole release thing.

She was only smiling at the clone weakly, knowing she won this time. She flinched when her right eye was penetrated, but settled down when the illusion faded and saw Kazumo waving.
"Maybe." She said with her eyebrows raised. She then chuckled and rubbed the back of her head.
"Eh, again. Not that broad in this area." She said, "Buuuuut. Clone you's kinda messed up. Any idea why?" She snorted softly, "I mean i'd totally go on an alcohol run with em at the legal age and if he were less crazy but yeesh."

At her question he kind of frowned figuring she might ask but also felt ashamed at what the reason was. "Well... I just cant find it in me to torture people I like, so creating clones with their own personality is the best option for me. I don't get to stab people I like, but I still get to do the genjutsu. Thats something I have to work on, as Im sure I would gladly do it to people I dislike." Kazumo replied looking at the ground rubbing the back of his head before looking up. Well anyway if you are ever in a genjutsu just remember what Yin and Yang about them. Also remember that you shouldn't always face it head on."[/color]

Monaka nodtded. She remembered how... Different the two Genjutsu were. She did vaguely touch the subject, but she thought it was all in the same ballpark. Damn was she wrong...
"Gotcha, thank you." She got up and then began her walk away, "See you around tournament time, I guess. Though if you still wanna do training and stuff after, just tell me." She wavered in the spot for a moment, smiling such a gentle smile for someone like her, and heading off.

Kazumo smiled and nodded standing up himself. "No problem, yet I really would go to someone more experienced for this kind of training. Like I said I'm still learning about it myself." He then paused in silence when she mentioned doing some training or stuff later to which he shrugged. "Sure maybe I'll have you teach me about hand to hand combat some time. See you at the tournament." Kazumo said waving her goodbye before crossing his arms as she left. "You really need to let go of the past though Monka...." [/spoili]

Night was falling rapidly, but even in the waning light, Korina stood fast. For the first time in a long time, Korina was unarmed: no kote, shin guards, jacket, or mesh shirt. Only her shorts and her chest bindings...and weights.

A lot of weight.

Her arms and legs glowed a deep blue, almost indigo with how concentrated her chakra was. The Kiyohime backflipped away from a swipe and kicked the blade in the process. The young man she was sparring with twisted his arm to keep the blade under his control and then followed up with a stab. Korina landed on her feet and ducked down into a sweep. The young man's knee buckled at her kick to it then blocked his hand when he seemed ready to smash it into her face. She drove her knee into his stomach then rolled away. Though she made sure to feel the flat of the blade to attach a chakra string to it. She gave it just enough juice to be present, but not enough to make it visible.

The man growled in irritation and charged again, slicing and dicing all that he could. Korina swung her torso to the left under one swipe then swung to the right under another slice. All the while she back pedaled and waited to see if he would falter. The man overextended on a lunge, which Korina was ready for. She leaned to the side and forward just as he lunged.

He was unprepared for the smaller girl to rock him with a vicious straight to his temple. Dazed, he stumbled on the follow through and straight into a hook aimed at the hinge of his jaw, then another aimed at the bridge of his nose. He dropped like a rock, sword on the ground by his body.

"Good. Very good, Korina." The ruby eyed woman congratulated her as she clapped slowly. "Very good, indeed. As per the rules of the match, the katana is yours. When one starts to slash like a barbarian...they don't deserve so fine a sword." The once Kiyohime huffed in frustration at her knocked out student. She then addressed the students that surrounded the practice area. "That, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call arrogance and failure. This is what happens when one decides to challenge for a title in this clan. Korina, if you'd please?"

The Kiyohime was a little startled at being addressed by her actual name. She pulled the sword into her hand with her chakra string, then tested the blade with a smile. "Very nice..." She hovered over the man and took possession of the scabbard. The once Kiyohime handed the girl a tag, which she attached to the sheathe then placed the blade in it. Then she ran her chakra through it to reverse summon the sword. "Strength. Honor. Prowess. And Deception. That, class, is what the Kusanagi live by." Mother Inferno addressed her students, then motioned for Korina to sit among them. Korina bowed her head respectfully then hurried back to her spot, still kitted out in her training gear. The sun that shone over the emerald fields felt nice on her shoulders and back though she hoped that she wouldn't burn. Sunburns really did suck.

"We, as a people. Specialize in the arts of horsemanship and swordsmanship. Some of you have been watching our Kiyohime as she trained. And I know that some of you have been assisting her in her training, which I thank you for. This is the style that all Kiyohime have learned. It has no name, and many of you have begun to learn some variant of the style. Many of you, will never be ninja. And that is fine." The woman gave a gentle smile as a small murmur began to start up. "Ninjas are not the backbone of the Kusanagi. They are a highly specialize arm of it. If you have the will and aptitude to become a ninja, the path is open." She continued to walk slowly around the circle of students.

"As you may have heard, our Korina--with Amaiya's permission--will be starting up a new branch of a military unit under her current sensei. This unit will be one composed entirely of horsemen. Some will be archers, most will be mounted cavalry whether with sword or spear. The Empress has approved it, as far as I understand. So sign ups will start within the next month or so. We need strong wills and Kusanagi pride and ferocity. Nothing less." The woman's eyes flared slightly. "Now, let us begin partner drills. Kiyohime, you are with me."

Korina meditated silently on top of her board on the spire. She'd spent most of the morning reflecting on her life thus far, as well as on her upcoming lesson with Mother Force. Goddess, was that woman relentless. Honestly, it made her wonder what exactly happened between Mother Force and her wife on their wedding night some years ago. From what she'd heard...the two kept most of the camp up late into the night. And honestly...she could believe it.

Letting out a deep breath, Korina refocused on centering her chakra. Nearby, two clones were sparring while another was working on the Leaf Training exercise while she worked on manipulating a few sticks and stones. Korina took in a deep breath then channeled her chakra into her secondary seal. The Mothers had discussed the chance that they would be removing the limiting seal after her training with Mother Force. And she was honestly unsure if she were ready to do so. Nonetheless, she continued to train with her seal, then directed the two sparring clones to different tasks. One was switched to working on her lightning release while the other began to work on summoning the swords and switching between using the different swords.

Korina stood before Mother Force with her normal gear on, watched by her teachers. The woman smirked widely at her pupil and drew her sword, Korina did the same with the sword she'd won a few days prior. Mother Force slashed at Korina rapidly, which forced the girl on the defensive. Parries, deflects, and sparks flew between the two fighters, until one of the Mothers yelled out "Change!" Unsure of whom yelled it out, Korina did her best to focus between the dodges and deflections until her sword disappeared. Korina summoned her two daggers to keep deflecting. Mother Force managed to lock the two up and tried to use her strength to try and force her into submission. Korina braced herself to match Mother Force's strength, which prompted her to smirk.

"Yes. You've been working out like I told you to. Yes. I see it." Her eyes brightened in excitement and threw a punch. Korina dropped back a step, ready to--

"Change!"

Growling, Korina shifted and summoned her largest sword. Mother Force backed off to circle the girl. Korina dashed forwa--

"Change!"

Goddess! Korina released her sword and summoned her two katanas. The two continued their fight, with their attacks and sparks flying. The two eventually locked up again, with neither giving no quarter. Korina was panting hard, hair slicked with sweat and chest heaving. Mother Force winked at the girl and sucker punched her in the face. Korina dropped like a sack of potatos, which Mother Force caught with one hand.

"She is ready...let's start the ceremony."

Katsu banged his fist on the front door of Koike's house, yelling "Koooooikeeeee?"

The door would open half a minute later. Rubbing the back of his head, Koike glanced at Katsu. "Hm? Yes?" He asked in return. Lowering his left hand, the young man would take a step to the right to allow Katsu inside. "Come in."

Some panting was heard as Tanpo rushed from beside Katsu and through the door, disappearing in a corridor. "I was thinking we could perhaps go outside," The boy said. "Remember, I wanted your help with something? It's more... practice than theory that I need..."

Bit surprised, Koike eyed the bypassing fur. Turning his attention back at Katsu, Koike remembered what the other wanted. "Aye, I remember. Just let me grab my jacket and I'll see what I can do." It took a moment as Koike took a step back and picked up his jacket. "I suppose we can leave Tanpo here for the time being. I doubt there are socks around to rip apart." Perhaps Katsu could see a box just before Koike would start to close a door. "You do seem more alive than when I visited you."

"Eh..." The boy let out a sigh. "I'm sure he'll find something to rip apart." He spun on his heel and started walking. "Away we go, then!"

"Yeah, I think I still have a few pairs of your socks." Koike said, quite amused. "Lead the way. I assume it will just be some practice? Cause ---"

"Just.... Okay? Just.... Okay?"

Katsu led his friend to the plains in the forest just outside town. "I know it's a walk, but it's refreshing right?" he said with a nervous chuckle.

"Yes, it certainly is." Koike replied back. He glanced around as he then would rub his chin. Perhaps he should shave tomorrow as he could feel the stubbles growing back. "Now, you wanted to develop some wind ninjutsu technique? Still am on the opinion, Aiko-sama can help better, but mind giving me some context on what you have planned?"

"As I said, it's not really the theory I need help with," Katsu answered. "The technique's pretty simple. It's just something to help with my mobility. The idea is to use the wind chakra to make a large leap and then land without hurting myself. So far, I've gotten part one done, but.... I mean, I have a solution for part two, but I need to be able to land on my feet each time... I kinda lose balance when I'm too up high."

"Aaaaah," was Koike's initial response. "So you need to know how to balance yourself? Let me ask, does this technique require one or both arms of you after the handsignals?" The young man asked, thinking on how one could balance up in high air.

"Well... I don't need to use my hands, no. I try to use them to keep myself from flailing around, and sometimes it works, but I can't just take the 'sometimes' if it's an actual fight, can I?"

"No. You can't." Certainly not against foes who would be specialize themselves on long ranged attacks or weaponry. If he had no way of defending himself against certain attacks like for say, arrows, then he would be a sitting duck up in the air with such a technique. "How about a weak gust? I know one technique that creates a gust, but I'm not sure if that will be great." He thought about it. A gust to the right meant he would sway to the left. Thus not being balanced yet.

"I was actually thinking perhaps I could just work on my balance and acrobatics," Katsu said. "I have a small advantage in that since I have a small build anyway."

"Yes, but why do you ask me then?" Koike asked a bit surprised. "I know some balance trainings, but they are pretty basic in my opinion." He further added.

"That's pretty much why I chose this spot!" The boy gestured to the large trees around the opening. "I was thinking we could work something with the branches with these large trees. You know, make it more difficult."

Glancing at the trees, Koike let out a soft sigh. "I think I know here you're heading with this. Fair enough." Koike returned his attention back to Katsu. "How about we make this a bit more interesting? This time, you run and I hunt. Got a spare kunai or blade for me?" He asked.

Katsu nodded, pulling out a knife from inside his hoodie and tossing it over to Koike. "Reddisetgo!" As he spoke, the boy was already taking a few steps backwards, climbing up one of the trees and onto its branch.

Not a moment later, a cresent of chakra was on its way in order to try to slam Katsu against the bark of the tree. Following Katsu, Koike was already moulding chakra for another chakra arc to swing at his friend.

The boy let out a small shriek upon seeing the chakra, stepping to the side on the branch to avoid it. "Wh--Aaah!" Katsu quickly moved to another tree as if running away from a psychopathic killer.

Narrowing his eyes, Koike swing the knife, unleashing another cresent. This time it wasn't aimed at Katsu, but to cut the branch he was standing on. Climbing quickly into the tree, Koike kept moulding his chakra.

The branch snapped, bringing Katsu down. Landing on his feet, the boy grumbled, leaping up high to another branch, trying to move to another quickly.

A quick skide made Koike move on a branch. Gazing down, Koike aimed again for the branch. Aiming more at the middle in order to force Katsu to either land on a small place or trying to steer away from the branch, Koike unleashed a shockwave with a quick swing.

Sweat moved down his brow and he could feel it rolling down his back as well. Lunging forwards, Koike tried to regulate his breathing as he had droped the knife. The constant attacks, focusing and hunting down on Katsu and the constant pace they had been going at had tired him out. He wasn't even sure how much he had been of help, but he sure was pretty tired. Straightening his back, Koike spat on the grass. "I'm done for now. How about you?"

Katsu was lying on the ground next to a broken branch, panting. He held his hand up and pointed his thumb upwards so as to not waste any breath that could be used to survive.

"Good." Koike managed to bring out. Raising his right hand, he would sweep the sweat of his brow. Deciding to sit down, he would then lay on his back. He couldn't see the 'damage' that occured. It was better than they had done before. Using knives and then switching over to explosive tags. Licking his lips, Koike closed his eyes. "How is your balance, now?"

The boy glared at his friend as his hand fell back down. "It's... fine..."

"You sure? Heh." Koike wanted to chuckle, but felt to exhausted to even lift up an arm. Perhaps he should even invest more into stamina and chakra control? Probably if he would ever start to chase down somebody and would somehow start to chop branches and barks with his chakra flow techniques.

"Yes... you... ass..." Before he could finish his sentence, Katsu coughed, sighing. He waited for a few moments before speaking again. "I hope so," Katsu said with a huff. "But.... this was enough for today..."

It would last a moment of silence before Koike spoke again. "Seriously, who? Who is teaching you to talk like a sailor?" A slight frustration was moving through the voice of Koike. "I sure didn't. Aiko-sama? Your sister? Academy teacher or teachers? Who?!"

Katsu forced himself to his knees to sit up. He seemed like he was about to make a 'witty comeback' but he stopped, his mouth remaining open for a moment before he looked down thoughtfully. "Huh..."

"Never mind. Just... never mind." Koike grumbled. He still laid on his back. His breathing had became more regular, but he was still quite burned out from helping Katsu, by virtually hunting the other down. "Next time, I will use more explosive tags. I'm burned out." He complained softly, flexing the fingers of his left hand.

"Hm..." Katsu brought his hands together and waited for a few moments before opening them up, holding folded pieces of paper. "You can also keep these! They 'SPLODE when thrown! Like regular tags but without the metal thing carrying it!"

Turning his head to glance at Katsu, Koike frowned. "I think I am fine. Am not a fan of explosions as other people are. I prefer subtle manners above lousy noi---"

"That's not always an option, now i--"

"Are we seriously going to have this conversation again?" Koike asked, raising his eyebrows.

Katsu pouted. "Alright... I'll keep these then." He slowly brought the paper down, glancing at Koike.

"Subtlety. For the win." Koike mumbled softly. "I think I am going to take a break. Had no big plans anyways for today. What about you?" Koike asked, glancing again in Katsu's direction.

"I guess I'll pick up Tanpo," the boy responded, getting up to his feet with a grunt, "and go home."
