[En Route to Hogsmeade/Hogsmeade]

Anice made her way down a long path to Hogsmeade. It was much colder than she thought it would be and she regretted not putting on something warmer. She clutched her jacket tightly as she quickly scurried down towards the village. She nearly slipped a few times and she'd probably be really embarrassed about it, but no one was around, so she just kept moving as if nothing happened. Her head was too busy preparing for tonight's venture anyway. Under normal circumstances she would be terrified to try something like breaking into the restriction section with another person; but, for some reason, she was really confident about this escapade. She was actually pretty excited and had a hard time hiding it.

She was even more excited about the fact that she had carried a whole conversation without her curse flipping out. It was like a little personal win, and she never had those. She smiled, detecting a hint of unfamiliar warmth within her. It seemed like it was the first time in forever that she felt...happy. Or at least what she remembered happiness must have felt like. It had been a long time after all...
She took advantage of the fact she was alone and began to skip and spin happily like a child. She never really got to be carefree, since she always had to be careful about what she did, and she figured since no one was around, why not?

She hummed to herself lightly as she continued to skip down the path. As she approached Hogsmeade and began to make out figures, she slowed herself to a walk. She was feeling pretty exhilarated and free, so she was rather disappointed she had to return to her cold and unfeeling counter-part. "For the greater good..." she thought to herself. She saw crowds of people excitedly talking and laughing in they're own cliques. She had to admit she was envious of them.
She made her way through the streets hurriedly, trying not to make eye contact or bump into anyone. For a split second she realized how antisocial she was, but shrugged it off and continued strolling past shops and groups of students who gave her odd stares as she passed them. They were probably wondering what she was doing there, after all, she didn't have friends. And she agreed with them, it was pretty pointless to go on the trip unless you were going with some friends to enjoy yourself. But she had to get her hand on some sweets before she lost it.

She finally found herself in front of the candy shop. Parents usually brought their young ones here for a treat if they behaved, but Anice came here to treat herself. She was pretty embarrassed about the fact that she so deeply enjoyed such a childish treat, but not enough that she didn't eat them obsessively. Still, she looked around to make sure no one was watching as she entered the brightly themed shop.

As she entered the shop, the smell of sweets embraced her. It was warm and homey inside, and the array of brightly colored candies made the inside seem like a different world entirely. Unable to calm her lust, she began to excitedly pick out at least one candy from each group.

[Hogsmeade; The Three Broomsticks inn]

Another couple passed her, giggling as they did so while rounding and taking an empty spot that had escaped the eyes of the Gryffindor. "H…" Melinda was about to call out to them, but decided against it as she knew that they wouldn't give up the place to her anyway. A slight frown appeared on her face, displeased with the course of events right now as she just wanted to sit down and have something to fill her stomach with. Though, none of these supposed classmates of hers helped her, neither did these dormmates did anything that looked like an attempt, keeping up with drinking and sipping, only caring about their partners and neither did the bartender or the waitress seem to take much of a note of the girl. Either overlooking her or too busy with flirting around with the rest of her 'manly' peers.

Getting a little impatient to get to a spot Melinda started to jump up and down a little, hoping to reach up to a higher spot so that her sight reached out farther. Not that it helped much, but at least it kept her mind off from her empty stomach who was by now wringing around in pain, causing the girl soon to stop with her activities, her face a little sour from the nagging hole that was asking to be filled. Folding her arms over each other the girl leant forward a little, taking in a deep breath before straightening up again. Just in time, because she heard footsteps coming up from behind her, stopping as to join her side. Of course that could only sign one person and she hoped dearly that he hadn't noticed anything of what had been occurring earlier.

"A table?" the girl almost sounded excited when the male mentioned an empty spot. "Where?" she asked, hastily looking off into the direction to which the male was looking at, hoping to see it for herself. However there was no such luck as she was much too small to see the table, though she did had a slight indication of which spot he meant following the group that was just getting up and moving away. Sticking up above from the crowd the girl let a sigh of relief to herself, glad to be finally sitting down and to rest, quickly making her way over to it. "Come on, we need to get it before someone else beats us to it." She mumbled to the male, quickly making move as she didn't quite catch the last sentence he spoke. Her impatience getting the better of her, though if she had she would have protested. Not because she didn't like the drink, or didn't want to be treated, but because then she would have enough time to realize what alcohol did on an empty stomach. And then there was also Melinda's little secret about her relation with alcohol.

It was to no wonder that at the moment the girl sat down on her place that she sighed in relief to herself. Her stomach calming down a little bit while she looked up to her friend. To this point Melinda had felt nauseous, regretting skipping breakfast and going out in this cold walk to the village. Though she could only blame her own stubbornness from earlier for not turning around despite the Slytherin students earlier. However, she was to forget about that. That the girl had decided upon once Seth had decided to join her, not wanting to have the 'wimp' worry over her. After all it was Melinda who looked after him, not the other way around and to that her beliefs were as firmly set as her believe that purebloods stand above all.

"So?" the girl started, as she looked up from her seat to see whether the waitress was heading their way or not. It seemed that she had noticed them, giving them a slight nod as in a sign that she was heading for them next, finishing off the order of another table. "What do you want to order?" she asked, still a little impatient as from standing earlier. The little time that they had to look for an empty spot certainly had been too much for the girl, still displeased about the fact that another group had picked off 'their' table. Whether she had spotted them earlier or not was to no matter, she had been waiting longer. Or so she concluded stubbornly.

[Hogwarts; Entrance – Library]

After the encounter with the Gryffindor Madison Van Reeden the young male could finally turn away, dispersing into the crowd as he made his way back to Hogwarts. The way back was pretty much the same as the way to, busily chatting students surrounding him, enjoying the sight of the snow, playing around inside of it or busily chatting away their time 'till Hogsmeade. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary only that this time August was going against the current by walking back. It was still early and most students weren't planning on returning to Hogwarts unless it was the utmost time to do so. However, he wasn't like any of them, finding himself quickly to be bored with the village and its little shops. His only companion had left him behind with a drink, but even that tasted bland this year which signalled that the exotic looking male was better off spending his time studying instead of dawdling around mindlessly.

By this time that he was strolling his way back to Hogwarts again the path had once again changed. The footprints that he had left earlier now gone and replaced by other footprints. Other students who had passed by this road to get to Hogsmeade. Slim, big, small and wide, the various formats signed that groups small and big and some people on their own like he had passed this road. All heading for Hogsmeade and some few lone prints that headed back to Hogwarts, calling the village quits early, like he had done. By this time as August passed the road the snow that covered the path wasn't as clean or pure as this morning, having been stepped upon and painted with a trail of students who were excited to hang out. It was after all the only time of the year that they were allowed to visit Hogsmeade, so of course these who had something to look for there were excited. It was just not his cup of tea.

Snowballs were still flying around, thrown at each other as August stepped onto the school grounds again, the Entrance being filled with the excitement of a few fellows who had built their forts and declared 'war' on each other. A snow war to be exact, since none of them wished to stand against each other. It was one of these times that the dorms seemed to get along. Not too much caring about the colours as they rubbed the flakes into their faces, friend or foe. Though there were a few pranksters who couldn't accept such peace, of course there always were a few who held on too strongly to their belief that they were different, divided from the others. Rotten apples he called them, but even then August couldn't whole-heartedly blame the students. It was the school system who had parted them. The several dorms and their characteristics, it was clear that August wasn't much of a fan of the sorting ceremony, but he couldn't help but be part of them, being a student of Hogwarts himself.

So as he was passing by the 'war' created by his peers the male tried to avoid the attack to the best of his abilities. It got easier with the fact that he wasn't their target and that no one was aiming for him, but a stray snowball was easily thrown out and thus he kept his attention on sharp, his eyes scanning the area thoroughly until he finally had left the 'battlegrounds'.

Inside of the school it was oddly enough calm, despite the great amount of students that Hogwarts held it was empty inside of the school itself. A fair amount of them having left for today's yearly trip or playing inside of the prematurely fallen snow. Not that he minded, it meant that there was more room for him to sit at. It meant that he didn't had to wait for a book already taken, because most of them were left alone, left to the few who studied their day away today. Stomping his feet in the entrance as to make sure his shoes were clean from snow August proceeded on his way in. Rounding the corner to the moving stairs he first went to dump his scarf and coat behind in his room, unwilling to drag them around for the rest of the day. From there on out he then continued his way to the library, trying to recall to himself what homework there was on schedule. There was a bit to do, but nothing too troublesome for him. At least it was enough to pass through the day until lunch arrived, but what he was to do afterwards was a question.

It was clear that August was of the kind who liked to stuff his day full. Not the one who liked to sit around and stare. Whether it was schoolwork or maybe observing people August had always something to do that he called 'useful'. At least it was of use to him, to understand and to learn, wasn't that the reason why he attended an education? With these thoughts crossing his minds he strode through the long hallways, heading for his destination for the morning, walking into the library as he gave the librarian a nod, a silent greeting for August wasn't exactly known for being one to be vocal.

The place was despite a few students who had some detention work to do, empty. Of course, that was the usual formula for the library; weekends plus Hogsmeade plus library was empty. It was as if the library was scorned on that day, the students who were here because of their detention looking sour as to the fact that they weren't allowed to go out. And August felt not bit of a sorry or a pity for them. They had caused it themselves, being a rascal paid no loan. However there was one irregularity inside of the place catching his eye. One little component that didn't belong inside of the outcome of his earlier formula. Not a detention worker, neither the librarian, but an actual student who was here to study, a pile of books next to her as she was keeping herself busy with them. A slight raise of his chin and widened eyes in surprise were his reaction before the male turned around again and minded his own business, going for the shelves to look for his own books. There was no need to bother the librarian to help him out, for August passed by these shelves often enough to know where he could find what he needed.

Glesni Helling
[Library]

Glesni's pen was already warmed up from all the work, but she wasn't stopping. Of course she could always use magic on her pen, and just sit back and relax while it does all the work. But where was the fun in that? Even back in Durmstrang, where everyone used magic on daily basis and pretty much for everything, she preferred plain handy work. It was the reason her handwriting was flawless, even though he wrote fast, trying to catch up with everything before she would forget it. Whenever she was surrounded by books, she would exclude everything else. It was always her sanctuary.

She was now focused on the huge Astrology book she took, and there was the thing she was looking for, for so long. She looked around, making sure no one was paying attention to her. And no one did. There was still only a couple of lazy kids, the librarian, yawning people, and the Ravenclaw guy, that walked between the shelves. Glesni, quietly pulled books to hide that particular page of mainly librarian's sight.
"Why the hell they didn't put any lock on this one?" She spoke quietly to herself. It occurred to her that they might not consider it malicious. Well, not if students have no idea what they are looking at. Glesni grinned widely, and ran her fingers over the title number thirteen in Zodiac Signs section. "Ophiuchus." She confirmed to herself. Indeed, it was nothing wrong with that title. Not for usual students. It was just a plain information page.

She read carefully, writing down keywords that she needed to explore it further. As the man with the snake stared at her from the page, she couldn't help but wonder weather it had anything to do with Parseltongue users or Slytherin house in global. Of course it was just a kicked out and hated sign for his meaning and his number. But it never hurt to dig deeper than she should. At least not until now. Considering rarely anyone paid close attention to Astrology itself, probably no one had any deeper interest in it. She quickly wrote down anything important about it. Seemed like everything wrong that was left, was mercilessly stuffed in that one sign. Glesni whined lightly when words "end of the world" and "gates of Hell" caught her eyes. Seemingly, that was where the fun ended. Anything that might be possible to find about it in Hogwarts, was probably in the Forbidden Books section that annoyed her just a little bit too much. She closed the massive book and laid her head on it processing information, as if it would help her. She silently cursed her wish to know what was in that sealed part. It was the most tempting place with the worst punishment. "To be or not to be..." She mumbled annoyed, with her face still on the book.

OOC:

Okay guys, this has lately been an issue with people who are using white backgrounds. There have been several people who have been using white in the coding. And it's hurts people's eyes. Please don't do that. I shall now post an example picture for you convenience so you will understand just how much of an pain in the ass it is to try and read it.

wilzf5.jpg

There. Not fun, right?

So avoid using white. Or black. Leave them as default colors. If you accidentally change your color into something else and want the original color, for example you're using black background and which means the white is the text's default color, don't go around and color everything white; it turns everything to look like how it looks in the picture posted above. (Or parts of them, for example there are few who's posts are half black, half white and so forth.) In the color bar, there is a "none" option which will reverse the text color back to the default color. Using any other color is fine with me, just avoid the two mentioned. I also wrote an actual rule about this in the S/U thread's rules today; it'll consider all the posting and skeletons from now on. (So if anyone has white used in their skeletons, please edit it out. You can see it if you change your layout as white by switching Opal from the preferences.) This is just so we can all enjoy ourselves in the future.

Thanks!

[Hogsmeade - Tomes and Scrolls]

A quick glance at her two companions showed her that they were relatively okay. They walked on in peace and quiet for the rest of the way until they finally reached the shops. Alexandra furrowed her brows as she looked around at the various shops, trying to decide where the trio should go first. This was the trouble with not going solo. The whole 'considering other people's feelings' thing could get extremely tiring at times. Though neither of the two had mentioned anywhere specific that they wanted to visit, she couldn't very well just forge ahead and go wherever she pleased. The redhead knew for certain that Theo wasn't the type to visit a joke shop and she didn't know Amelia well enough to make judgments. Yet. Perhaps they could make a few quick stops elsewhere first and then head to Zonko's.

Pale blue eyes rested on a signboard lettered in a bold, no-nonsense font. Tomes and Scrolls. Ah. The bookstore. It seemed like a good place as any. Three Ravenclaws in a bookstore, no one would ever have seen that one coming. Making up her mind, she strode into the shop and looked around, making an effort not to sneeze. The musty smell of billions of scrolls of parchment and books wasn't exactly the most pleasant aroma in the universe. Lightly running her fingers across the spine of an extremely thick novel labeled 'Prisoner of my desires' she couldn't help but smirk. Picking it up she saw that the cover depicted a witch (whose robes did an excellent job of covering only the bare minimum) clinging to a shirtless male with a ridiculously defined torso and a death eater mask. A quick glance at Theo and a plan had already formed in her (some might say sadistic) mind.

"Theo! Come over here for a second. I've got something for you." She motioned him over and flipped open the book. With great flair, she flipped to a passage and began to read to him with a completely deadpan expression on her face. She delivered it with the same severity of one of Headmistress Mcgonagall's lectures, channeling the still scary old lady.

OOC: For those of you who didn't get it, Alexandra's reading out smut c:

Hogsmeade; Tomes and Scrolls

When Alexandra led the two to the bookstore Tomes and Scrolls, Theodore already knew that he would enjoy the visit. The crisp scent of ancient, forgotten books welcomed the blonde when he entered, the bell chiming above the crooked door. Already, Theodore felt settled, the shop becoming like his second home. Despite that he just arrived a second ago. Leaving the companions behind him, Theodore paced to a section that labeled FICTION in bold letters. His eyes searched for a capturing title, something that would satisfy the blonde's standards. He was quite the picky man, but Theodore was sure he would find at least a novel or two that he would be fond of. "What should I read..." He muttered, sounding hushed and quiet. The Ravenclaw was so focused, he didn't realize time flew by until Alexandra called out. "Theo! Come over here for a second. I've got something for you."

Theodore was forced back to reality, much from his disappointment. He sighed, glancing at the clock not too far away, as the hands pointed 9'o clock sharp. It then became 9:01 (AM). Alexandra, who was only a bookshelf away, took a quick glance from the open spaces. A mischievous smile played upon her lips, and Theodore already knew she was up to no good. But he sighed, actually curious of what she had in stored for him. "What is it?" He drawled, lazy to actually come over. It was fine to speak like this anyway, since they were both close enough.

But without an answer, Alexandra flipped open the book and immediately, red one of the passage with a deadpanned expression. Theodore at first, didn't think too much about it and mindlessly took a random thick cover to ignore what Alexandra was saying, but the cliche quotes and the overused tactics in romantic novels started to become too much for Theodore to handle. Chill went through his spine, the look on his face slowly becoming disgusted. His lips curled downwards, the glint in his eyes begging for mercy for the girl to stop. "Alex, what in Merlin--" He paused, closing his eyes for a second; not believing his ears. Then, a second later, he took a quick examination of the room, and noticed that people nearby were just as freaked as him. He released a sharp sigh and shook his head, speaking a moment later, "Put that book away," Theodore said, trying to sound as calm as possible though anyone could see he was mortified.

[Hogsmeade>>Tomes and Scrolls]

As neither Theo or Amelia had specified a place they wished to go to, Alexandra had to decide. Amelia would have felt bad for her if it were as big a decision as they made it. But it probably just had to do with finding a shop sign that seems interesting.

Alexandra had ended up leading them into Tomes and Scrolls, the bookstore. As stereotypically Ravenclaw it probably was, Amelia did like bookstores quite a lot. They were cozy(though maybe a bit dusty at times) and had interesting stories and information. That was enough for Amelia to like a place.

Amelia didn't bother to choose a particular section of books to look at---choosing a particular section would just limit her to only looking at certain books, some of which may be pretty crappy, when she could be looking at non-crappy books in another section. Though, she did notice that she was wandering past non-fiction books as she browsed the titles.

Amelia had just pulled a book that seemed to have some relation to dragons(the title 'Dragonology' is a dead giveaway for such things), when she heard Alexandra calling for Theo. She hadn't even meant to listen to her, but it was quite difficult not to listen when someone begins to read a rather horrid passage from a novel, in a voice that was really a dead ringer for the headmistress of Hogwarts'.

Undoubtedly, Amelia found the reading and the expressions of some of the customers after it quite hilarious, but she didn't really show it as she flipped through the section of her book on Wyverns, pretending to read. It was really fun to just watch people's reactions, rather than actually participating on the reacting.

[Hogsmead]

As reed walked to down the road he stopped to take in the scenery. He was always moved when he looked out to the dark forest, sure it was a place where creatures would be dangerous but he didn't fear it. He looked around again and continued to walk. His breath creating vapour in-front of his face. His companion ruffled her feathers as she got closer to him for warmth. He smiled as he walked for several minutes many people passed him but simply paid him no attention. Sometimes he though himself a ghost that no one cared to know. The sound of the snow crunching under his feet as he walked along slowly Hogsmead came into view. It was bustling with people, students running everywhere looking for things and candy as well as the joke shop run by the one Weasly brother. He walked into town simply observing the hustle of everyone as he walked passed the candy store and saw his soon to be partner in crime. The way she was plucking the candy from the wall didn't slow after 7 he chuckled as he turned away from the site and began to walk to the book store.

He opened the door to a more quiet setting then the one outside. There were a few people but he walked to the owner who he had gotten to know after his years at the school. "Afternoon." Reed greeted. The man placed his finger on his page and looked up at him with glasses halfway down his nose and bend his head back awkwardly to see him through them. "Reed! I was waiting for you, your order has come in." He fixed his glasses and placed a bookmark in his book closing it. He stood up and went to the back where there was a thump and a curse. he came out and looked to him handing him a book labelled the ultimate guide to garden spells. Reed smiled. "Thank you." The shopkeeper nodded and chuckled. "Your one of the few people I know love books as much as I do." He was about to go back into his book when Reed ask him. "I have a friend who is in a bit of a bind, do you know much or have anything about hexes?" The shop-keep looked up at him perplexed. "Anything I have in hexes and curses is in the section there to the left." he said as he indicated. "I don't know if you will find what your looking for the Hogwarts library would be better." he said, Reed nodded "Its still better to try and know then to just guess." His shopkeeper friend nodded guessing it was sound logic then went back to his book.

"Is there a problem here Zoey? Mister Everdragomir?" Zoey glanced over her shoulder as the familiar bass of Aled spoke up behind her. A pleasant smile began to curl her lips as Jayden pettily smacked her hand away. Rolling her eyes as he made a wide berth around the adorable hound named Leeda, he stood in plain sight sulking. Did all vampires do the weird emo thing? "No Sir, everything is fine," Kneeling down to eye level with the massive dog, she scratched her ears and looked up at Aled.

"There was, but I took care of it. I have never been a fan of sexual harassment. But then again, who is?" She said happily, voice seemingly void of any sarcastic bite. Professor Aled had helped her out since her third year when he first arrived. Zoey had been going through a confusing stage of her life, constantly playing a balancing act of Pureblood Heiress and Down to Earth Zoey. He had given way to the world of dueling which her mother had spoken fondly of. Zoey had absolutely thrived in that world of hexes and jinxes, during this time as well she was finally able to tame her wand that often misfired completely. Though, she never truly got a level mind about who she was, or who she was going to be, she found a balance. Aled became a valuable mentor to her, though Seth really struck with the older man as a father son relationship. But she already had a father, and she had no need or desire for another.

"How is the leg Professor, do you think its going to hold up for the trip to Hogsmeade? Or will you be sitting this one out, it is a bit biting out there." With a final pat on Leeda's large furry head, Zoey stood up and faced the older professor completely ignoring Jayden's
presence like just another shadow to be overlooked. Running her fingers through her hair she straightened her tie and tried to look half way presentable, and not like she was walking the ultimate walk of shame.

[[ Location: The Three Broomsticks ]]

OOC: Short post to get me back in the game... Sorry about that. >n<

Rose stepped out of the bathroom stall and washed her hands in the sink. Even from inside the girls bathroom, she could still hear all the commotion going on outside the door. With Hogwarts students able to come into town today, the Three Broomsticks was bustling with activity more than ever. Rose wondered if it was even worth trying to get a butterbeer here; the wait time was probably going to be tremendous.

She turned off the tap, dried off her hands and stepped back outside. "Sorry about that, Ma--" But Rose stopped in her tracks. Where had Madi gone? She was supposed to wait right here while Rose went to the bathroom, but now she was no where in sight. (Of course, the large crowds of people moving in and out of the restaurant were a bit of a hindrance too.) After a few moments of standing on tiptoe and peering over people's heads, Rose finally spotted Madi standing by the door, looking a bit distressed. Rose couldn't help but chuckle slightly--she had mentioned to Madi that she was going to the bathroom real quick, but Madi had looked a bit distracted. I guess she didn't actually hear me...

Rose walked over to her friend and poked her shoulder. "Hey, no worries! I'm right here," Rose smiled. "I just went to the bathroom over. You didn't hear me?" At the last moment, Rose caught a glimpse of some guy glancing back at Madi before burying his face in his scarf and walking off down the road. So he's what she had been distracted by... heh.

Hogsmeade Village; Spintwitches Quidditch Supplies » High Street

"Now this model just looks brilliant!"

Whilst many other stereotypical Ravenclaws would be huddling themselves in bookstores, Sidney O'Connell was found in a shop much more typical to himself. He was standing near the window inside the Spintwitches Quidditch Supplies shop and admiring one of the latest broomstick models placed there for the public view. All of his friends had already given up with his fussing with the Quidditch materials and left him to his own on devices about ten minutes ago, but the boy was nowhere done with admiring everything in the shop. The shopkeeper had started to look a bit tired by now, as he had been helpfully walking around the shop behind the tall quirky looking teenager and trying to answer all of his questions that he kept shooting at the shopkeeper, who barely had the time to even think of the answer when Sidney was already shooting him another one in the same breath. Is the aerodynamics of this model meant for what player position exactly? Would it be sturdy enough for a Keeper? How fast does it react to sharp turns and movements? How well would it take a direct Bludger's hit?

Needless to say that the amount of questions was already leaving the shopkeeper perplexed, but Sid was not done, oh no. Because he also kept jumping from product to product, and next you knew he had already forgotten the broomstick was studying knee pads and asking what materials were used in it and how much they costed and if they had some for his size. And this is what he had been doing the past half an hour. Sid's vivid excitement was hard to keep up with, even if you happened to share even close to similar passion towards the sport.

"Okay, how about this, I'd really be in some need of a new--"

"Mister O'Connell," the shopkeeper finally exclaimed out loud, making Sid flash his butterscotch colored eyes in question towards the man's direction when he was interrupted, "Please, just buy something already if you're going to buy anything at all!"

Sidney smiled sheepishly and put the helmet he had been holding back to the shelf. "I'm sorry Mister Rennel, 'tis just that I get a little excited at times."

"Yes, yes, like every other time you've come to visit my shop the past five years!" Mister Rennel, the shopkeeper sighed and rubbed his temple, then looked doubtful; "...Or was it six?"

It was obvious that Sidney had not definitely bothered the owner of the shop for the first time. Not even a second time, or the third. Sidney had been visiting this shop ever since his third year; making this his fourth year he was giving Mister Rennel the grey hair, and thus making the amount of their meetings into an unknown number.

"Well, technically 'tis the fourth, Sir," Sidney decided to helpfully fix the man whom he knew very well by now, and the man already know almost unfortunately well the boy. The man just shook his head, picking the arm pads from the shelf and pushing them to Sid.

"Just take these, I'll give you a good discount if you just buy them and don't come back until the next Hogsmeade trip, you're giving me the headache, and your previous ones surely are really beat up by now," Mister Rennel hissed at the boy who just smiled goofily, and even if the shopkeeper tried his best to keep a straight face, he was actually trying not to smirk.

"How did you even--"
"Because the last time you bought ones was two years ago. Now that'll be two Galleons, thank you and good bye!"

And before the Ravenclaw boy knew it, the door had been closed behind him and he had been kicked back to the High Street with a new paper bag in tow. Confused over what just happened, Sid chuckled to himself a bit and turned to wave at the window at Mister Rennel who just seemed to scoff angrily to himself, but before the man turned around, Sid could have sworn he saw the old man smile. He was so dishonest with his feelings, but that made the cranky old shopkeeper lovable.

Well, at least he had saved few Galleons by that. Even though he really had not been intending to buy anything this time, but that had been so good offer that there was no way Sid could have said no to new arm pads. So in a good mood, the boy started walking down the snowy street, wondering what he should visit next and he could catch up with his classmates. Those rascals had just not said where they were going. Or maybe they had said it, but Sid had been too fixated on others things to hear it. It was probably the latter. So for now, the metamorphmagi would be strolling alone in the village, and just few seconds later, he was already daydreaming and losing his focus over where he was going. Because there was of course, yet again, this certain person intruding into his mind as he the boy could not help but wonder... About their current relationship.

Last night? It had been... Very... Interesting experience. Sidney had learned many new things about, err, about adult matters. So basically, he could say that he was not virgin anymore. Or was he? It was quite the vague concept, especially for a man. Did he feel any different? More adult? Not really, to be honest. More anxious about seeing his teacher again, and he had been so sure it could not get any worse. And since Sid now had knowledge about certain... acts you performed with a lover, it actually left you craving for more. The Ravenclaw bit his lower lip and smiled like a fool in love, which he probably was. Only glad that he was not at least giggling like a school girl. Which was not very far from happening at this rate, though.

Hogsmeade - Tomes and Scrolls]

"Hm?" Alexandra paused reading and looked up, arching a brow at the blonde boy. Theodore Williams was doing a remarkable impression of a wind up toy, his head swiveling at the customers and then back at her. The poor boy was going to come down with a nasty case of whiplash if he kept it up for much longer, she thought offhandedly as she relished in his distress for a few moments more. The expressions of her unfortunate spectators ranged from an entertaining mix of shock, embarrassment and disgust. They looked utterly scandalized, which only served to add to her amusement.

"What? I'm just reading a book." She widened her eyes slightly and adopted a look of utter innocence as she looked at Theo. "I try to make everyone's day a bit more interesting and as such I was just sharing my discovery with them." She told him, her tone belying nothing but sincerity and modesty.

The blonde looked adorably mortified. Alexandra enjoyed teasing the boy and getting a reaction out of him. He was almost always too quiet and had an eternal poker face. Really, he was just asking to be teased. She snapped the book shut and placed it back on the shelf, hiding her smirk behind the silky curtain of hair which fell as she leaned forward. The redhead supposed she should leave the store before she overstayed her welcome. She'd probably managed to glean all the entertainment to be had from the bookstore anyway. For that day, at least. Alexandra shot the store owner a winning smile which seemed to soften his annoyed demeanor just a bit. Though, the rolls of parchment she bought probably helped as well.

"Ready to leave?" She asked her companions as she headed towards the door. The day was turning out to be rather fun so far.

[Hogsmeade>>Tomes and Scrolls]

Well, she seems happy with what she did, noted Amelia. Somehow, that innocuous tone of Alexandra's sounded very fake. Yeah. Somehow.

Amelia put the book she had found back on the shelf when she saw that Alexandra seemed to be done with whatever that book was that she had found. Amelia didn't have any intention of buying anything at Tomes and Scrolls, though that decision of hers may have been aided by how she now feared what she would find in this bookstore.

Amelia spent a little more time just looking at the the spines of the books as Alexandra was buying parchment. "Ready to leave?" she called after she was finished, already heading to the exit.

Amelia nodded slightly, although Alexandra wouldn't have seen that, and followed her out the door. She immediately felt like she had been slapped in the face. With a hand made out of ice. Despite the fact that Tomes and Scrolls smelled of musty books and would probably be the nightmare of anyone with asthma(and was filled with the words of a horrible story that day), it was definitely warmer than it was outside.

Amelia wished for a moment that she had worn her Ravenclaw scarf for this trip. That would have been the more intelligent thing to do. It seemed that Amelia was really going to have to work on her common sense. Seeing as the only way she could get her scarf right then was by using the summoning charm, and it might be a bit disconcerting for people to see a scarf flying out of Hogwarts and into Hogsmeade, she opted instead to just duck her head down, so the collar of her coat covered her mouth.

When she felt mildly comfortable, she decided to speak, though her voice was a bit muffled by her collar. "Well, you had fun in there, didn't you?" she said. She had the barest trace of a smile on her face, and it could be heard slightly in her voice.

|| Hogsmeade: Outside Three Broomsticks Inn ||

Madison was seriously about to leave in another minute or two. She didn't like being here if she didn't have to. Of course Rose had other friends she could be with. So it would make sense she would leave right? No. Madi was her best friend. Where the heck had she disappeared to? Ugh! This was seriously upsetting Madison. She wanted to spend time with her best friend who had up and disappeared on her. Suddenly she felt a poke on her shoulder. Madison turned around to see her ginger friend grinning up at her like and idiot. Madi could help but breathe a sigh of relief at the fact that she was here

"Hey, no worries! I'm right here," Rose smiled. "I just went to the bathroom over. You didn't hear me?"

Rose knew her too well. She could read her all too well. But then again there was nothing wrong with that. She liked having someone who could really understand her. Madi thought back. She really hadn't heard Rose. But then again she had been very distracted earlier. Her thoughts went back to how August had caught her from an embarrassing fall. Seriously though, that would've been bad. Very bad.

"Uh..no I didn't. Sorry. Heh. But I'm glad you're back. I thought someone had kidnapped you for a second. " Madi said as she smiled at her friend. "Let's get out of the cold and get some butterbeer." Madi said as she shivered.

Madison ow knew how August felt. She had him standing out here for a while. She shook her head. What was wrong with her. He was forever going to think she is a creep now. Oh well. She shrugged and went inside, holding the door open for her best friend.

|| Hogwarts: Slytherin Dorm ||

Sabrina arched an eyebrow as she glanced down at the luggage outside her room. What in the name of bloody Mary was this? This wasn't her's of course. Had it come here by mistake? No that can't be true. Random luggage wouldn't just be left outside Sabrina's dorm room. Well, this was odd. Sabrina bent down and picked up the luggage and pushed open the door to her room. She placed the luggage to the side and the shut the door. Somehow she had a feeling that someone had been here. Maybe she was being paranoid or maybe it was one of her sense things that tended to happen. She shrugged. Sabrina took off her coat and scarf and tossed them on her bed.

Well for now her Hogsmeade trip was canceled. She was supposed to be going to Hogsmeade with her new mate Lock but Lock had a bounty on his head. They were supposed to escape quickly but unfortunately they weren't quick enough. The bounty hunter Sarah came and whisked Lock away for torture. Okay it really wasn't that dramatic. Lock had managed to piss off his friend Sarah who happened to catch them before they could leave and she dragged him off, leaving Sabrina alone. God knows what she's done to him now. Sabrina shook her head with a smile on her face. She seriously liked those two.

Sabrina walked to the bathroom and glanced in the mirror. She looked around and pouted as she eyed the mess she left here this morning. She started cleaning up but as she did so thoughts of Danny came back to her. She tried to push it from her mind but they weren't going anywhere any time soon. Sabrina looked back in the mirror and touched her hair. As she did that she remembered how Daniel used to twirl his fingers around her hair. She closed her eyes and sighed. She didn't like feeling like this. She didn't like feeling empty inside. She didn't like having to find temporary happiness to distract her from what was really going on, on the inside.

Sabrina looked back at her reflection in the mirror, determination set in her eyes. An idea had popped into her head. Girls usually change something about themselves to symbolize they want change. Why not take that idea and put it to good use? Sabrina took a piece of her hair and twirled it in her hands. She remembered thinking of herself as a princess when she was a kid. She always envisioned a princess had long flowing hair and overflowing confidence. Now that she thought about it she wasn't really living up to her "princess" standards. How could she say she is a princess when no one else saw her like one. She had to show them she was.

Sabrina looked around and pulled out a pair of scissors. She looked back at her hair and smiled slightly. At the moment her hair reached the middle of her back. She'd never cut her hair before. The most she did to it was trim is slightly. She took in a deep breath and put the scissors to her hair.

"This isn't goodbye. I'll be back and when I am I'll be stronger than I am now. But I still have some princess training to do." Sabrina said with a slight laugh.

Then without another thought she started cutting. She closed her eyes as the sounds of scissors filled her ears. It didn't take that long, she was finished in no time. When she opened her eyes she glanced at the floor and saw all the hair on the ground. She bit her lip, it was done now. She couldn't take it back. Was she ready to see herself? Her heartbeat had sped up slightly as she slowly looked at her reflection in the mirror. Sabrina blinked as she stared at herself. Her fingers ran through her hair. Her hair now stopped at the base of her neck. Basically shoulder length. She actually did a good job for a girl that had her eyes closed.

Sabrina nodded at herself and smiled. This was her starting new. This was her deciding to take life in her own hands. She wouldn't let some boy or the thought of love control her. She would live for her and do whatever the bloody hell she wanted to. Just like she used to when she was a kid. Sabrina cleaned up in the bathroom and grabbed a pair of pearl earnings. Now you could clearly see her ears. Sabrina tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. She was actually liking this. Her head felt much lighter. She walked over towards her bed to grab her coat and scarf. Maybe she would find someone to go to Hogwarts with her. She stopped suddenly when she found a letter on her pillow.

It was from the Administration, it said something along the lines that there was another girl being added to her dorm room. Sabrina frowned. What part of separate didn't they understand. Sabrina wouldn't have made a such a big deal for this room if she knew they were still going to make her room with someone. Her eyes narrowed. This was not going to turn out well. Sabrina glared at the suitcases. She should've just hid them. She rolled her eyes and grabbed her coat and scarf and headed out of the room.

|| Grand Staircase ||

Sabrina was determined to find someone to take her to Hogsmeade. She refused to stay locked up in her room any longer. Besides, she didn't want to be there when her new "roommate" showed up. She might bite her. So it was for her future roommate's safety that Sabrina wasn't there. She was sure she would make whomever she picked the happiest person alive. Why? Because she was Sabrina freggin Gallagher. It's not every day you get to hang out with her. Sabrina didn't have to look too hard to find her prey. The pinky brat, Black, Jay and her professor, were talking at the bottom level of the staircase. She smiled as she found her target. "Set" she said softly to herself.

Sabrina gracefully glided up to where Jayden was and wrapped her slender fingers around Jayden's wrist. " 'Ello mate. How are you doing? Seems like you have nothing better to do so I shall honor you with my presence as we go to Hogsmeade. Come come now." With that Sabrina started dragging Jay through the hallway. She was positive Jay didn't want to be there longer than he had to. Pinky brat was there after all.

Hogsmeade - Tomes and Scrolls

Alexandra decided to play dumb. "Hm?" She arched a brow, looking up from the book as she finally stopped reciting the horrid passage, "What? I'm just reading a book," She hid a smile that was dying to be shown, her eyes widened in total innocence, "I try to make everyone's day a bit more interesting and as such I was just sharing my discovery with them." Theodore narrowed his eyes, staring at the Ravenclaw for a long time. He was pretty sure no one wanted to know Isabella's pleasurable moment with a Deatheater. He, didn't want to know. She closed the book shut and put it back where it came from, going to the cash register to pay the parchments she was planning to buy. Theodore could only sigh, shaking his head. "Cunning witch," He grumbled under his breath, putting the book he was holding away and walked to where Alexandra and Amelia was at. "Ready to leave?" Alexandra said. Theodore nodded. He didn't seemed to be welcomed here anyway, as there was other customers shooting him and the redhead judgmental looks.

The three trios exited the bookstore shortly. Poor Amelia got slapped by a hand of ice from above, almost cringing from the cold. Now that he think about it, why didn't she bring a scarf? Amelia buried her head in the collar of her coat, "Well, you had fun in there, didn't you?" She finally said, a hint of tease playing in her tone. On cue, Theodore glanced at Alexandra. "Too much fun."

Theodore ran his fingers through his hair, feeling exhausted. It has only been an hour but already, he was beat. As breakfast didn't satisfy the young Ravenclaw's stomach, he thought about going to Honeydukes. Theodore pursed his lips. "Are you guys hungry?" He asked, "We should go to Honeydukes." He didn't expect them to tag along but he decided to mention about it anyway.

[Grand staircase]

Aled had to hold back a chuckle of amusement, both at the young man's obvious trauma and repulsion at the possible construing of the situation and Leeda's obvious confusion at his fear and avoidance of her. She looked almost hurt as she cocked her head and watched him slink around her with caution, how could he think she was anything but the softest and most gentle of creatures!? Leeda was completely oblivious of both her size and her killing teeth and often backed down against smaller dogs much to Aled's frustration and amusement. Once Jayden had slunk into his sulk stance and had made a vague attempt at dismissing the moment so that Aled would leave, the Professor opened his mouth to speak when suddenly another slytherin appeared. She was the dark magic enthusiast, if Aled remembered her right, and she gave him a very warm smile and a jovial greeting before moving on with a sense of general light-hearted enthusiasm. "Good day, professor. Lovely day, isn't it?"

"Ah, indeed it is! Miss Helling, a good day to you too!" He smiled after her, thinking how atypical she was for a dark magic student. Then again the world was full of strange and different people, he shouldnt be surprised at there being one good-hearted individual with a penchant for the black arts. He turned back to his belligerent couple only to find Leeda being comforted by Zoey's expert hands, the wolfhound's concerned gaze for Jayden quickly dropping in favour of a half glazed expression and her head pressing insistently into Zoey's motions. He grinned at the affectionate scene that contrasted brazenly with the sullen figure of Jayden, still glaring and brooding some distance away as Zoey answered Aled's question with more depth.

"There was, but I took care of it. I have never been a fan of sexual harassment. But then again, who is?" Zoey's explanation would have worried Aled if he didnt know her well enough already. The situation seemed small enough for Aled to generally pass it over in favour of an easy morning, especially since Zoey was involved, though that did mean he was a little concerned for what might occur if he left the half vampire alone with her. The young lady could assuredly look after herself and she had a temper to match. There was also this little matter of not returning to the dorm last night... With this in mind, Aled had decided to poke a little further before letting it go, however Zoey very elegantly managed to change the subject before he could question the pair anymore.

"How is the leg Professor, do you think its going to hold up for the trip to Hogsmeade? Or will you be sitting this one out, it is a bit biting out there." Her concern for his well being was much appreciated and gave Aled a fond expression even while he knew she was also using it to shield her from questioning. Leeda seemed very satisfied with the attention she had received and padded back to Aled to get another head ruffle, happy in the knowledge that her intervention had ceased any hostility.

"It were complaining this morning, but I think I'll risk a stroll down to the village anyhow, Merlin knows I've born more than a wee frost." She was doing her best to make light of the situation which brought a curve to his eyebrow, his skeptical gaze directed fully at her as she tried to fix her attire and stance to accentuate just how innocent she was. He wasn't going to let her off so easily, but perhaps he would address the issues later and in private. "But to the point, I've heard tell you weren't seen back at the dorms last night.. A visit to me office this afternoon would be appreciated to soothe me worrying, if you would'ne mind." He said it with an easy tone but the twinkle in his eye and something about the expression on his face made it very clear that they were going to talk about it at some point and that it might as well be sooner than later.

With that he turned his head towards the half vampire, whom had still not left for some reason, and gave him a warm smile. "And you can rest assured Lad, even that scene were not enough to convince me of you two being in any kind of cahoots. Now the both of ye go and hav-" Suddenly out of seemingly nowhere a Slytherin 6th year appeared in a whirl of demanding tones and beautiful features. Aled recognised her briefly as Sabrina Gallagher, a talented student if a little demanding and rebellious of authority who used her half-veela blood to her best advantage. She was there in a flash and suddenly Jayden was again being manhandled away with her towards the entrance. Aled's eyes followed them with a bemused expression, feeling that he should probably do something but being a little unsure what, before eventually deciding that Jayden was capable enough to say no and turning back to Zoey with a dismissive shrug. "Young people, so energetic, you all astound me daily!" He chuckled to himself, shifting on his legs as they started to complain at all the standing still and in one place for so long. "In any case, remember Lassy, four o'clock in my office if you please. I'll make us some tea, perhaps we'll have some strawberry sponge cake along with it." He sent her a reassuring smile before turning with Leeda to limp away towards the main doors.

[[ Location: Hogsmeade --> Tomes and Scrolls ]]

It had been faaar too long. Jon was leaned up against a tree trunk in the courtyard, waiting for Seamus to show up... but he never did. Must have gotten distracted by something... Jon shrugged. Nothing new. Still, there were a few things he actually wanted to do in Hogsmeade, so he decided to head over anyway, even if it meant that he had to go by himself. Though, there was always the chance that he might meet up with Rose again. But he would feel awkward about tagging along with her and Madi.

Still, Jon set off for Hogsmeade. He began running through the things he needed: some more parchment, a new quill, a some thread to fix up the hole in his school sweater... and maybe a few more leisure books. He wasn't quite sure which books yet, but Jon enjoyed looking through the stacks and picking stuff out.

Upon arrival in Hosmeade, Jon decided to head first to pick up the thread so he wouldn't forget, so he started down the path to Madam Malkin's Robes to see if anyone there could help. But along the way, he caught sight of a certain Hufflepuff boy by the name of Milo de Casa. With a look of wary nervousness on his face, Jon suddenly stopped in his tracks. He didn't want to get caught up with Milo right now... And the best way to avoid that was probably just to avoid being seen altogether. So, with a soft, quiet tip-toe in his step, Jon turned on his heel, dashed down an alley and headed in an entirely different direction.

Conveniently enough, this direction led straight to Tomes and Scrolls. At least Jon could stop here and scan the racks for anything interesting to read. Upon appraoching the shop, he caught sight of Theodore and two other girls leaving -- Jon recognized them to be Alexandra and Amelia. He was a little confused by Amelia's presence, as he thought the two weren't particularly good friends. Either way, it looked like they were headed somewhere. And while Jon didn't want to be rude and interrupt, he had already made awkward eye contact. And everyone knows, if you make awkward eye contact with someone you know, you at least have to acknowledge their presence.

"Oh, uh, hey Theo! What're you doing here?" He was happy to say hi to Theo, but the other two girls were entirely new acquaintances (despite being familiar with their names). Jon was hoping that, if this exchange was going to be more than a few moments, Theo would at least introduce them so Jon could diffuse the awkward he was beginning to feel -- but with him, you just never knew what to expect.

[ DISCLAIMER: Memo incase anyone has forgotten or not gotten the previous memo from Otakuworld regarding Aeorious's predicament. He's a vampire, sun burns him, however Wicked (Neriin) was so nice as to give him a freebie and provide the man with a get-away-free card in that manner. (ie: A sunproof cloak, gloves and mask.) Think Phantom of the Opera and you've gotten the idea. It's just a lot more convenient for me, seeing as otherwise I would have to wait until the sun goes down to post. (Which I tried before but you would never believe how long a day is in this roleplay.) So yes, that's why he is up during the day if you were wondering. c: ]

[ Hogsmeade Village : Honeydukes Sweetshop > High Street ]

A tall, dark figure could be seen wandering down the path to Hogsmeade. The thick, black fabric pulled as close to the man's body as one would with a blanket to keep warm and the hood pulled far down upon the man's face, so if a wind were to pick up it would not slip and expose burn-prone skin. Matching gloves hid away the hand's that clutched the fabric to his body, and a fitted mask concealed any pale, vampiric flesh that might catch the sun glinting off of the snow at his feet. The man in question, Aeorious, began to wonder why this endeavor had sounded like a good idea in his mind. It was daytime (which was a dangerous time to go trampeezing about in as a vampire), a moderate walk (a bother), and he was more than a little bit pissed (thanks to a certain Everdragomir) -- fucking wonderful idea. What he would give to turn the clock back a few good hours, back to last night when the only thing he had to worry about was pleasing the man beneath him.

Aeorious puffed out an exasperated sigh, a grin threatening to steal his lips from the annoyed scowl he wore right then. The reason of this trip was vauge, definitely not something that Aeorious had thought much about before he forced the shadows to spit him out near the gates of Hogwarts so he could wander over to the human-town with the rest of the students. He had made sure to avoid the dhampir, unintentionally avoiding a professor-friend of his while he was at it. A good chat was due between the two of them, the other professor being Aled that is -- not that he didn't feel like flaming the coals of whatever confusing flame Clemetine had decided to spark between the two of them recently, he just had already had his fill of drama for the year.

Didn't take long to trudge through the snow towards Hogsmeade, barely a quarter of an hour in this state counting as a triumphant win to the tired vampire. He had gotten a few odd looks on his little venture, spooked an old couple on their way to the store by accident, but had managed to make it to Hogsmeade without dying --

"Ten points to Ravenclaw," Aeorious muttered sarcastically under his breath, the sentance muffled under the mask and hood. Perhaps he would stop at the shop that sold Blood Lollys for a snack, not that he really needed a snack, or wanted any kind of blood that wasn't Sidney's for that matter, but there was no point in not making a liable excuse for going to Hogsmeade. The real reason for him being there was quite obvious, not that he would admit the reason being the Ravenclaw Quidditch equivalent to the opposite of someone who takes -- but it was implyed.

Honeydukes Sweetshop was easy to spot, the place always sporting a good few loud children and - the more rarer - Vampire. The building was nice enough, a bit pink and childish for Aeorious's liking, but it was a sweetshop afterall. The owner of the place was a likeable bloke, but he doubted he would recognize him in this get-up. Now that he thought of it ... his clothes were probably the reason why a few children scattered at his arrival. Aeorious had an urge to laugh. He felt like the villain in a movie, all he had to do was steal candy from a kid or something. Did Sidney like candy? He thought idlely as he opened the door the the shop and ducked to enter the doorway. Some of his other students probably did, Sabrina seemed the type, maybe not Kiyoko though -- then again, who knows? Maybe the girl had a secret sweet tooth and pigged out on Chocoballs when no one was looking.

Aeorious was so caught up in his thoughts that he hadn't realised that the shop owner was giving him a weird look from the counter, the idea of Kiyoko's imaginary chocolate-addiction suddenly becoming more interesting than the blood lollys he was supposed to have gone there for.

"May I help you ... uh, sir?" An elderly man asked from his spot beside a boquet of lollypops and a basket of chocolate frogs. A few children from inside of the shop were staring at him, others were attempting to ignore the tall guy with the cloak in the middle of the store.

"Ah, sorry to bother you Mr. Flume. I was just going to pick up a few lollys," Aeorious responded as he weaved through the kids over to the lolly boquet where the store owner stood. The owner didn't quite clue in, the look on his face a bit hestitant as the vampire plucked a few red lollys (and a blue one) from the boquet.

"Who exactly are you ..?"

"Oh, excuse my rudeness. It's Professor Van Abaron."

"That's not possible."

"Apparently it is," Aeorious replied as he placed the lollypops on the counter. "I would probably explain, but I have somewhere to be you see..." The elderly man just shook his head in disbelief and made his way over to the register. Aeorious pulled out a few coins from his trouser pocket and placed them on the counter, scooping up the lollys in exchange.

"Next time you come in here, loose the Vendetta outfit. You're spooking the kids."

Aeorious chuckled, agreeing to do just that, and headed out of the shop. Well, that was a fairly useless encounter. The vampire pulled out the blue lolly pop and inspected it for a good moment, hopefully Sidney liked sweets. If not, well -- it was the thought that counts eh? Or pehaps it would look a bit too odd to give him a candy... Why did human courting have to be so complicated? Aeorious groaned interally as he pocketed the lolly and trudged out into the snow-filled streets again.

Blue-brown hair caught Aeorious's attention as he turned a corner onto High Street, a familiar scent welcoming him as he spotted Sidney. The kid had a paper bag clutched in his hand and an idiotic smile on his face, yet he was without company. Shopping alone then; perfect timing on his behalf. Three long steps and Aeorious was falling into step with the tall keeper, his long cloak causing a bit of snow to puff up around his ankles as he matched Sidney's pace with ease.

"Pleased with your purchase? Or are you recollecting the happenings of last night?"

[ OOC: I have no clue if the shop keeper would know about V for Vendetta or not, but I'm saying yay until someone says nay. ]
