|| Hogsmeade: Three Broomsticks Inn ||

"Sooo...? Who was that kid back there, eh?"
she teased. "I didn't catch a good glimpse, but he must have been quite a looker if you were that distracted."

Madison coughed suddenly as her friend just flat out asked the number one question. She knew her friend knew her the best but to be honest, damn, that was quick. Madison hadn't even said anything about it but here she was being questioned by Rose, her best friend about August.

"Uh..it..uh...wasn't a big deal. He just had pretty eyes that's all." Madison said as she ran her fingers in a pattern on the table. "You know how I'm a sucker for eyes. But seriously, those were exotic looking. I'd never seen a pair of green eyes like that before. Anyway while you were gone I was being a total stalker and starring at this guy. And then I slipped on ice and fell. Well...I didn't really fall. He caught me..but yeah. More awkward situations I guess. His name is..um...Yilmaz? August Yilmaz?"

Madi said as she leaned her cheek on her hand. Now that she thought about it Rose and August were in the same house so maybe they knew of each other. But then again, Rose hadn't been her in a long time so maybe she didn't know him. And even if she did what would Madison do with that knowledge. Have Rosie become her 'wingman'? Of course not she didn't even know the guy. But did she want to? Well there shouldn't be a problem in making friends. Hell, Madison didn't need any help in making friends. Yeah, maybe she'd find Yilmaz later and she can make an ally.

That would actually be a bloody brilliant idea. She could maybe have Yilmaz spy on Sid for her. She was still curious as to what exactly that boy was hiding. He seemed really on edge earlier and Madi wanted to know why. Sure it was none of her business but she'd do anything to get her hands on some information about a fellow Captain of a Quidditch team. Would she use it to her advantage? Of course if she could. It's not cheating either. Madison doesn't cheat in Quidditch.

It's all simple strategy.

[Hogwarts; Music room]

She spoke in short sentences, single words of praises crossing her lips after he had finished playing. He supposed that it was the kind of person she was, just like her appearance had shown herself to be, alike to August as neither he was much of a chatter. She had moved closer, an air of confidence hanging around her as she read the music sheet he had chosen earlier. Leaning over closer as the male didn't bother to move away, taking the girl into mind carefully, observing her moving irises over the page and he judged her, with a slight look of approval, to be an appreciator of music as well. Again he kept silent, not bothering to go into the words of 'wonderful' or 'interesting' that sounded through the room as the male raised up his chin in the air when she straightened up again. Slowly following the girl's movements to the corner, towards the cello, after motioning him to wait while she seemed to be suggesting incorporating some changes to the music piece.

A slight pang of interest washed over the face of the Ravenclaw, the illuminating globes following the female as he wondered if she indeed was going to do what he expected her to do. To improvise. A much of a hard skill to learn within the understanding of music. Reading notes from a sheet and playing them in tune seemed to be hard enough for most, however to give it an own personal twist without ruining the song or completely changing the mood of the original was hard. A precious skill that August wasn't always so confident on practicing, needed to have heard a piece at least once before he dared to have his spins touch upon it. Either way it seemed that the female did possess such confidence, as she lifted up her bow and stroke the cello, filling the room with the same music again, but displayed differently.

She had gotten him curious, that was for sure, as the stranger immersed herself into the music, leaving August only to watch her hands move and listen, nodding his head along on the melody. Again he closed his eyes, wanting to take in the sound better, deeper, wanting to breath it in and lose his head inside of it. It was a wonderful feeling, the feeling of getting lost into music. As if one was flying, but then lighter and without a broom, without the cold wind harshly brushing by your skin, but breezing past and if he really got himself into the mood of the music, he could almost fly all the way back to Turkey. To his grandparents and smell the spices again from his grandmother's kitchen and listening to musicians outside, to the accordion of their neighbours, to old songs of the past. How he could dream off because of one piece, one sheet filled with notes. For one it read like a code, unable to understand what it meant. For August it was something familiar. A code that everyone in the world could understand if they put their mind to it. Music.

"Good boy." The voice of the female pulled him back to Hogwarts again. Cold, rainy Europe, but now the rain had been replaced by the innocent colour of snow. Now he was back on his seat in front of his piano, listening to a piece played by this stranger who had by now finished while the male had been letting his mind slip away. She wasn't paying attention to him, more concerned with the gathering dust on the wood as August frowned again. The lack of care for music concerned him. It bothered as he turned his head away for a while, looking over to the rest of the instruments inside. They had only one music professor in charge and clearly it was by far not enough to help out and that saddened the male, sighing to himself.

"It is a shame, isn't?" he suddenly spoke up, not exactly explaining himself as he was sure that if the girl was indeed like him passionate about music, that she would be concerned with this classroom as well. The damp air, the sunlight that gathered the dust to each other, the dull colours that signed the unused. It was saddening how little there was done to keep the instruments in their best conditions and he had noticed that as well when he had pressed one of the keys. Having noticed that it had lost its 'weight', pressing much too light and raising up much too slow. Returning his eyes to the female he waited, patiently for her to answer as he hoped that she would agree and perhaps agree with his next invitation as well. However, he wasn't too sure and he didn't want to be too forward or grow too hopeful, so he remained himself composed as usual. His eyes indifferent, but with a slight disappointment with the way the school ruled this room in its condition, only waiting with its deep colour for an answer to come.

Oxford Corridor » Entrance Hall

"Will be a bloody what? Wait... you cheeky bastard! You have a head start!"

Jay just laughed as the blond haired half-veela girl dashed into a sprint after him. Because of Jay's casual trotting, it did not take long for Sabrina to run past him. The half-vampire boy just smirked and added some speed into his long strides, catching up to her without even breaking a sweat. And just to taunt her further, the boy twirled around and was now basically running backwards, while making it look like a child's play, and shot Sabrina a toothy grin.

"Careful now, you might sweat away your make up if you get too much into this," Jay advised her in a mockingly upbeat tone of voice. He was about to make further comment about her ruining her hairdo while she was at it, before he realized that Sabrina looked somehow a bit different on that part. Her hair was not flowing behind her in long cascade of honey blonde locks while she ran, it was almost like...

"...You cut your hair," Jay deadpanned suddenly when the dots connected inside his head. Her hair was barely brushing her shoulders, ending to the base of her neck. It as not that she looked bad in it, of course not, Sabrina Gallagher would still look gorgeous even while shaved bald and stuffed into a potato sack while managing to make it into the biggest new wizarding fashion trend of the century. But the thing was, Jay liked girls with long hair, so the sudden haircut kind of made it feel like it was such a shame for her to chop her locks off out of nowhere like that. But on the other hand, she did look good in the new one, and it was not like it was the end of the world. As long as it was not Kiyoko's hair that she went around cutting.

"Why'd you cut it?" Jay asked curiously as he finally turned around and kept trotting casually on her side down the long corridor, still nowhere out of breath or even looking like this whole race was giving him any problems. What could he say, the dhampir boy's stamina was pretty incredible. Some of the paintings gave them odd looks when the two students ran past them, but most of them barely paid any heed since they were used to kids running about all the time. This was a school for eleven to seventeen year old students after all.

They entered the Entrance Hall about the same time Jay had shot the question at Sabrina. It was empty, reminding Jay how it seemed almost eerie to be so quiet for it at this time of the day, but it was only natural when most of the student body and some of it's staff was in the village.

Hogsmeade :: Honeydukes

The sky was grayed out with the dark clouds that seemed to smother the sky like a blanket. Tiny white flakes drifted from the inner confines of those clouds and into the open air where the occasional harsh breeze would force them along. For those unfortunate enough to be walking into the wind, like Adison, it felt as though tiny blades and needles dance about every piece of exposed flesh he was willing to offer to the elements. His long blond braid was lifted off his back with every gust to dance among the specs of ice and his bangs acted like the perfect hanger for these flying flakes. Occasionally one of the frozen particles would mingle with his eyelashes, making his face scrunch up for just a second until it melted and fell down his cheeks. Looking up into the sky with a beaming smile that seemed to defy the very elements that were being pitted against him. An eagerness shone through his body language and smile that seemed almost unbefitting of his age. An innocent happiness that felt like it wouldn't be broken, no matter what was thrown at him.

"Hey, Adison, what're you doing? The Three Broomsticks Inn is further down!" The blonde haired, green eyed man who looked like a prince looked over to his friend who was trying to argue the pub as a first stop. Grinning and shaking his head, Adison let out a cheerful laugh. "Not yet mate- Honeydukes first! It's practically tradition!" Waving as his friend walked on without him to buy drinks and probably try his hand at finding a girl to snog. Currently not too obsessed with that, and realizing he had an entire day ahead of him to do such acts, the blond sixth year from Gryffindor pulled his collar up around his neck higher to block some of the wind and walked the remaining fifty meters or so into the store who was famed throughout the Wizarding world for its sweets and unhealthy delicacies.

"Adison, back already? I can pay my bills again!" the old shop keep joked, referring to the young students annual visits to the sweets shop. "Very funny, old man! Nice to see you again too!" The sarcastic rebuttal held no form of malice, but instead implied a possible friendship felt between the two men who rarely saw each other. Walking through the building like a- Well, like a kid in a candy store, he quickly began choosing all the sweets he wished to bring with him. A hand full of Acid Pops, a couple of Cauldron Cakes, Chocolate frogs and Chocolate Skeletons. Pixie Puffs, some Pumpkin Fizz- what most kids would earn with a weeks allowance, Adison spent as for candy. A lot of his spending money came from his own pocket after all, from the savings and interest his Mother had left over in the Wizarding World after she had became part of the muggles way of living. Glancing around with a broad smile on his face, he looked at Hogwarts students who were already in the store and thought of the ones he had seen outside. He contemplated starting conversation and talking about any upcoming plans, but decided that could wait until after the candy was paid for. There was plenty of time to converse later, after he was done doing business.

After all, nothing brought a class together more than a Hogsmeade trip!

Glesni Helling.png

[Hogwarts; Music Room]

Polished wood finally flashed under, seemingly a year old, layer of grey dust. She was glad to see that it was still picture perfect and with no scratches or dents over the polish. Better than nothing. Even though dust gave it that special antique look, it just seemed bad on perfectly usable instrument. Even so, it still felt special as she was holding it and it sounded great. Almost perfect. Almost. She was never really satisfied by her skills. It could always get better no matter what. Or that is what she thought. Glesni didn't exactly know whether if it was good enough for her audience or not, but she played for herself. Audience could only relate, or leave. And the Ravenclaw was still there.

"It is a shame, isn't?" Ravenclaw finally said. Even though he wasn't too talkative, which was fine by her, she was still pleased to hear his voice. She already spoke first and she would probably felt as she was tricked into it if he didn't say a word. And she hated tricks and deceiving. She smirked rising her head. The way he spoke to her, calmly and evenly, made her think that he either never heard of her or he really didn't care. She was perfectly fine both ways. "It really is." Was her simple reply, before she got silent again, with only a faint smirk on her face. Silence was nowhere near awkward for her, as she appreciated it much more than pointless blabbering. There was not much she would say to him really, and she doubted he would talk more either. The sound of silence was to be appreciated as much as the word of the wise, and without even saying a word, they both agreed about it. It was the hardest language one could learn, but the only one that revealed all those hidden special things in people. The one that not even the Parseltongue could disturb. As long as it was coming from a clear and wise mind.

Glesni knew what the guy was talking about. Considering all of the glory and reputation Hogwarts and his wizards had, they really should have paid more attention to simple and yet crucial things. Like music. She looked around, nurturing the moment of silence, and prolonging it a bit more, before she stared back at the Ravenclaw and spoke calmly with her clear British accent she tended to use only when she was comfortable enough.
"But that as well could change." Usually, she was taken more serious when she used firmer accents instead. She thought how British made her voice too melodic for a malicious witch she was, and she never really used it. The musical moments she shared with that interesting stranger made her relax enough to drop the pretend.

Not waiting or hoping for any reaction whatsoever, she took out her black and silver wand, and made an imaginary dome movement with her hand.
"Accio!" As soon as the word was spoken, a bucket full of cleaning and polishing liquids appeared beside her. Glesni noticed that bucket on her first day, as well as noticing that it was barely (or even never) used. Now, it obediently left the safety of the dark locker, that was ironically unlocked, and settled by the chair. She smiled lightly, putting back her wand and getting up carefully, making sure cello was left leaning securely against the chair, with no possibility of falling. "I wonder how absurd can it get once you realise you need to work hard to enjoy it briefly?" She asked no one in particular though she still didn't expect the answer and she had no need for it.

Even though she could, Glesni never took anything she didn't have to, the easy way. That included cleaning as much as it included writing. She wanted to do it with her own two hands and have a feeling she worked to gain something. Being the child of wealthy parents, she barely got a chance to do so. But instead of all those wealth advantages making her life easier, it just made her feel worthless. Just as people thought she was. They were wrong, and Glesni proved it with her hard work. Then, she was laughed at for not knowing simple spells like those for cleaning up or writing. She knew them alright, but she stopped humouring people long ago and started doing things on her own terms.

Reaching down to get the mops out of the bucket, Glesni wondered was he really ready to go all that way for the sake of that seemingly forgotten part of Hogwarts. She could try, though she would do it herself anyway. She approached the guy that still sat quietly and reached out to handle him a mop and a cleaner. She smirked lightly, barely showing any honesty of that smirk.
"What do you say?" She proceeded with her even and calculated voice. "Are you up for it?" No words were required from him, a nod or any sign would be nice, but what she really needed to see, was him taking the bloody mop, though she never put on any pressure. Did he really think that it was worth it, or he was just there to have fun and move along. It was something only minor things as that mop and cleaner could resolve. Indeed, funny thing.

Rose snickered ever-so-slightly at the sight of Madi dreamily resting her head on her hand. But in all seriousness... Yilmaz? Rose couldn't quite place it, but the name was definitely familiar. She began going through the stacks of memories and connections she had filed away in her mind to see if she could remember anything. August Yilmaz was in there somewhere... With such an exotic name, Rose couldn't possibly have been making it up. She muttered the name under her breath a few times, squinting into the distance... when suddenly:

"Oh! August Yilmaz!" Bingo. Rose finally connected the name with the back of the guy's head she had seen earlier. "I know him! Well -- I mean, I don't know him, know him... but he was in my divination class one year. I never really understood divination, but August really had a good knack for it." Rose leaned back in her chair, satisfied that she had solved this riddle. "Yup, the divination professor absolutely adored Mr. Yilmaz... But not for his 'exotic eyes,' I don't think."

Rose stuck her tongue out in jest, just as their butterbeers arrived. She quickly put on a normal face, offered a polite 'thank you,' and waited for their waiter to leave again before continuing. "So then, you two hadn't met before this?"

It was obvious that Jayden's physique was far superior than her's but one shouldn't underestimate Sabrina. She had made it on the Quidditch team before. Anyway how else would she have kept her figure for all of these years. Not only was her metabolism high but she was very active as well. People might not take the time to notice but Sabrina is more than a pretty face. Underneath her soft skin is rock solid muscle from years of working out and training her body. Sabrina was no where near tired. In fact she wasn't even breaking a sweat. But why let Jayden know that right off the bat. That would make him try harder. She'd rather wait for the perfect moment to make him look like a fool and laugh it up in his face. Yup that's Sabrina's way of doing things.

"Careful now, you might sweat away your make up if you get too much into this," Jayden said as he continued to tease her as he ran backwards.

"Why do you care darling? Jealous? Wish you could look like me?" Sabrina said with a smile. Sabrina was keeping a light pace. Nothing too fancy she would save that for later. Oh boy would she save that for later.

"...You cut your hair," Jayden said suddenly. This of course caused Sabrina to look up. "Why'd you cut it?"

Sabrina shrugged as she shifted her weight to the balls of her feet as she began to twirl ahead of Jayden. "Wanted something different. Y'know? Why you do like it?" Sabrina said as stopped twirling and skipped backwards ahead of him. Then suddenly and wicked thought came to mind as the two passed into the Entrance Hall. Sabrina was going to own Jayden and win this little race that they were having. Was she going to cheat. Oh hell yeah she was. He just didn't know it. A wicked smile appeared on her lips as she looked at Jayden.

"If I was you I would get ready to lose Mr. Fangs." She twirled once and giggled at the little nickname she gave Jay. When she came back around, still twirling, where she could see Jayden she had her wand out. While laughing she spoke her spell, one of her favorites with Jay, clearly. "Aguamenti" With that a powerful blast of water shot out from her wand and sprayed somewhere in the direction of Jay's face.

Just like that Sabrina was off. Sprinting, full speed towards the exit of Hogwarts laughing as she did so. Sabrina ran on the balls of her feet to make her go faster. Sabrina felt light and free as she pushed herself to go faster and faster. She knew she only had a few seconds before Jay sped off after her so she had to make those seconds count. And she did. Sabrina was a great distance away from Jay by now. She could see the exit now. She just need a couple more steps before she beat her friend. Did she use an underhand trick? Of course she did. Did she feel bad about it? Hell no. Sabrina giggled again as she made her strides slightly longer as she continued at her quick space. If need be she would use another tick up her sleeve if Jay caught up with her.

So Sabrina cheated? So what? How did that saying go? All's fair in love and War.

|| Hogsmeade: Three Broomsticks Inn ||

Rose seemed to take delight in Madison's embarrassing little story. Madi pouted and looked out of the window at the people walking through Hogsmeade. The snow made the place look all mystical and magical. Not that it wasn't already but the snow made everything beautiful. At least that's what Madi thought. Madi glanced back and saw Rose was concentrating pretty hard on something. Madi stifled a laugh because the expression on her friends face was absolutely hilarious.

"Oh! August Yilmaz!" Rose exclaimed like she had suddenly solved some difficult jigsaw puzzle. "I know him! Well -- I mean, I don't know him, know him... but he was in my divination class one year. I never really understood divination, but August really had a good knack for it." Rose leaned back in her chair, "Yup, the divination professor absolutely adored Mr. Yilmaz... But not for his 'exotic eyes,' I don't think."

Madi rolled her eyes at her friends sad attempt at a joke. "I would hope not. Otherwise I would be concerned for his safety. It's a little weird to catch a Professor staring so intently at you like that don't you think. Makes you feel naked."

Rose stuck her tongue out in jest, just as their butterbeers arrived. She quickly put on a normal face, offered a polite 'thank you,' and waited for their waiter to leave again before continuing. "So then, you two hadn't met before this?"

Madi took a sip of her butterbeer and closed her eyes as she savored the taste of one of her favorite beverages. She licked her lips the placed the cup back on the table and looked at her friend. "Of course not. I mean..I've seen him around in the hallways and such. But that's about it. I'm usually distracted by Seth or maybe Zoe on rare occasions. Or I'm too focused on Quidditch. " Madi said with a slight chuckle.

[glowing][ Gryffindor Tower | Zoey and Company's room ][/glowing]
Zoey sat on the edge of her bed, knees pulled close to her chest as she tried to tune out the high pitched squealing of the other girls. The air was saturated with the smell of the girls' perfume, it made Zoey's stomach twist. It was all so cheap, the makeup, the clothes, the smell... it was absolutely ridiculous. In Zoey's mind she never really understood the obsessive rituals girls put themselves through. Makeup, nail polish, hair spray, it was truly the most ridiculous thing ever. Falling back on her bed she let her arm dangle over the side of the bed, as she glared out the window. It hadn't even been twenty four hours since Melinda had decided to unfriend her, who knew where Madi was in the entire thing, Seth had been completely elusive all year, and now Kiyoko was more or less completely and utterly pissed at her for man handling her pet leech. It was as if someone had it in for her, which wouldn't surprise her at all. Rolling over she finally decided to put something clean on.

It didn't take her long to peel the uniform off and toss on some black jeans and a striped sweater. Running a comb through her pink hair she looked in the mirror and frowned. Zoey Black was asked out on a date, and she was wearing jeans and a sweater. Sniffing she shrugged and tossed the comb back on her bed, but ran right into her overly bubbly roommate. "Zoey. What in the bloody hell are you wearing?" Sniggering at Sally's vulgar language she half shrugged, "I don't care, its just a trip to Hogsmeade. No big deal." The look on the other girl's face told her something very different about a trip to the town at Hogwart's feet. Zoey was shoved back onto the bed as Sally waved her wand around the room, the girl was honestly some sort of wicked fashion witch of the wardrobe. At the end of her flurry of wand motions and Zoey's ducking under a plethra of shoes and jackets Sally held out a pair of black suede heels, suspenders, a bow tie, and a silver hair clip. Raising an eyebrow Zoey was about to ask a sarcastic question but instead Sally yanked Zoey up by her collar.

The bow tie was a nice touch, even Zoey had to admit it, it really tied in nicely with the suspenders and shoes. Turning to the side she smiled at Sally in the mirror, who held up a hand already smiling slyly. "Don't thank me, I have always wanted to attack you with all that sensible fashion you have locked away." Zoey grinned and chuckled as the girl skipped out of the room. At least she was allowed to do her own make-up. A little eyeliner and blood red lipstick went a long way to clean up her appearance. Slipping on her black trench, she slipped her wand into the tailored pocket inside the jacket. Zoey was ready to go.

Her heels clicked on the marble floor as she made her way to the infirmary, to go retrieve Peter and maybe apologize to Kiyoko. Maybe she had been too harsh on Jayden... right. Zo would have just waited until she was alone with Jayden to pound his face in, and she hadn't even been able to do that. Running her tongue over her lips she wrinkled her nose and passed a couple sitting on the bottom steps to one of the towers. Their giggling and hushed sweet nothing churned Zoey's stomach. She never wanted to ever be like that, and she ever did she would probably want throw herself off a bridge. "Disgusting." She said under her breath, but a little louder than she meant. The girl blushed brightly and looked away from the boy who glared at Zoey. Snapping her teeth at him, she flipped her hair over her shoulder head held high. Whatever with them, they didn't matter. But something in the back of her mind kept nagging at her, and it was not very easy to ignore. Was it... foreboding?

CecileeMarshall-1-Sharp_zps1127c2ef.png

` HOGSMEADE VILLAGE '

Cecilee raised a brow as she observed the boy, Giacomo's, reactions that followed her remarks, still awaiting a truthful answer. Not that she expected one. Few people do nowadays, tell the truth, that is. She might as well forget about this day. The way the boy slumped his shoulders made her think he would begin introducing himself for real. Or because he heard the word Ravenclaw. If correct, their reputation wasn't as colorful as some would think. The witch crossed her arms, still in a mental debate with herself as the conflicting ideas of adventure and plain tricks unnerved her. Sort of. Peeves was the one to blame, as well as her sleepwalking habits.

The answer the boy gave wasn't one she favored on any other good day. As exaggerated as she was.

"I see that you have seen through me! Bravo, bravo! As expected of a Ravenclaw and your infamous 'eye' for detail," he said winking. "And for that, I'll tell you everything after we get asdjghdjlsghlsdjgl---"

It was only then when the first sentence registered in her mind as Cecilee paled and analyzed what he had just said. All that came after was fuzzier than expected.

...your infamous 'eye' for detail.

...infamous 'eye' for...

...'eye'...

DID HE BLOODY SAY 'EYE'? Divination slapped her brain hard, as well as the words she was told by her Gran and Dad. CALM DOWN CECILEE. IT IS A MERE COINCIDENCE. NOTHING ABOUT WHATEVER BLASTED EYE YOU KNOW ABOUT. She composed herself, clutching the sides of her clothes tighter to herself as she swallowed down the impending thoughts of murder and interrogation. Instead of bringing up whatever meaning his words had in her mind, she just played along then. It was better than having to be paranoid all day. The crystal ball already scared the life out of her before, being reminded about a certain something did not improve anything.

"Whatever you do boy, it better not bring me graver trouble than what I have in mind," she threatened. Her previous threat was still present but the eye business made it reside beneath all her bloody ones. "So, what's the plan?"

Entrance Hall » Viaduct Courtyard

Sabrina shrugged as she shifted her weight to the balls of her feet as she began to twirl ahead of Jayden like a ballerina, turning her pace into half-dancing. And we all know that when Veelas or even partial Veelas dance, being a male in a presence of one can get a little challenging. "Wanted something different. Y'know? Why you do like it?" Sabrina said as stopped twirling, her now a bit shorter hair flowing and seeming like to Jay it was throwing sparkled in the air before it settled down again to frame her ridiculously beautiful face, and skipped backwards ahead of him.

It was so distracting and brain numbing, making thinking hard when her charm seemed to do the usual and make it feel like his brain was suddenly full of cotton candy and his chest full of artificial feelings for her. When Sabrina danced even a little bit, it seemed like her natural Veela charm was seeping through even without her consent. Or maybe she was doing it on purpose, who knew? So instead of managing to rack his brain for an answer, Jay kind of was set into automatic transmission as he trotted forward with a glassy stare in his eyes. Did he like her hair? No, he did not like it, he loved it. Or at least that is what it felt like at the moment.

"If I was you I would get ready to lose Mr. Fangs," Sabrina stated suddenly, a wicked smile playing upon her lips which should have been enough to make Jay completely prepared for some kind of trick. But the dhampir was kind of busy of trying not to drool and trip on his own feet at the same time, and it was already quite challenging. The blonde girl twirled again, giggling and her laugh sounding like hundred little happy silver bells to his hears. When she was facing him again, she was holding a wand in her hands, raising it and pointing it at his face. Why was she pointing her wand at him? Why would she ever-- Wait oh shit!

"Aguamenti!" Sabrina chanted, water spraying from the tip of the rosewood wand just at the same time when Jay's brain finally got into the gear again and pushed away all the artificial feelings for her, leaving him about fraction of a second to react. Gasping in surprise, Jay's feet hit the breaks but there was too much speed to stop completely in time. So instead he tried to change the course of his direction a bit to the side, barely ducking out of the way of the water that flied past his nose, forcing him to bend backward awkwardly and go full Matrix about it. But just when the boy thought he was on the safe waters again, no pun intended, Jay took a misplaced step and tripped backwards onto a suit of armor.

Loud clattering followed when the armor was pulled down onto the stone floor with him. And after that, the hall echoed with even louder Bulgarian swears. Sabrina was sprinting to the doors, her mocking laugh echoing on her wake.

Jay lifted himself to sit up with a groan, pushing the helmet away that had fallen upon his lap. So she wanted war? Fine, she got her war. She really got her war now.

With a menacing, low guttural growl the dhampir crawled back up, flexed his feet muscles and back and his eyes seemed to flash red momentarily as the inner beast was called upon for a little help, suddenly looking like he had gone from a teenage boy to a predator that was readying itself for the preys chase. He was the lion and she was the gazelle, and that gazelle had better be quick on her feet now. His instincts were set on hunt, and Jay needed to be really careful not to let it get out of hand. He just needed to borrow his inner vampire for this a teeny bit.

A step back with the other foot, a deep focused breath that seemed to slow down with his pulse, and the world seemed to slow down with him. The game, ladies and gentlemen, was on!

Jay shot forward like a bullet, the lines of his profile seeming to blur. The great oak doors starting to close behind Sabrina's wake when she was slipping herself outside in between them, but Jay was not even planning use them as his brain calculated that it would only slow him down. So instead of doors, Jay picked a shadow of a pillar few feet away from the entrance, already calling upon the void without even needing to stop and do the usual hand motions or even concentrate, as upon this state of mind all the vampiric stuff seemed to come naturally to him. The veil between this and the shadow realm ripped open and Jay plunged himself into the darkness, the portal closing behind him.

Just when Sabrina was peeking her nose outside, Jay seemed to explode like a cannon ball out of one of the shadows of the cloister, so fast that the smoky tendrils of darkness were still clinging upon him, before the boy was further away from the portal that withdrew back itself and closed with a low humming sound like it would have been sucking air into the void. Landing on his own feet with the grace of a feline near the left corner of the courtyard, Jay shot Sabrina a smug glance over his shoulder, like he was asking who got the last laugh after all. No one humiliated Jayden Evedragomir, not even Sabrina Gallagher.

"Come on Gallagher, or I'll leave you behind!" Jay added with a singsong voice and was already advancing towards the viaduct, crossing the courtyard. This had supposed to be a game of Who Is First Outside, but now it seemed to have been turned into Who Is First In Hogsmeade. The road to there was not exactly short either, as at times Jay seemed to forget that not everyone could manage the same distances as he could with his stamina.

Sabrina was absolutely positive that she was going to win. She sure did teach a lesson to Jayden. Don't underestimate her. She was ready to give him her Oscar wining speech afterwards too. She stopped right in front of the door after they shut behind her. Victory was so swee--

"Come on Gallagher, or I'll leave you behind!" Jay added with a singsong voice.

Sabrina's mouth dropped. Her false victory leaving a bittersweet taste in her mouth. She wanted to ask questions but she already knew the answers to them. Her eyes narrowed at her friend as she crossed her arms across her chest. "Bloody vampire." she muttered as she walked calmly after her friend.

Cheating that's what it bloody was. Cheating. Sure she used underhanded tactics before but he was a bloody vampire. Meant for strength and speed. She had her lips set in a pout as she thought about it some more. Why would he challenge her to a game she couldn't win? Because he wanted to embarrass her? Oh really? Then it was on! He wouldn't get away with this that was for sure. Sabrina picked up her walking pace and mated it with Jay's. She glared at him then flipped her hair.

"You might have beaten me out here but remember, I never lose." Sabrina felt that familiar heat envelop her body. It only happens when she actually uses her charm. Sabrina doesn't have to be all smiles when she uses her charm either. Over the years she's learned how to focus her charm on a certain point and control the amount she uses. Recently she's learned to perfect that skill. Now she can accomplish this with a look. She only trained herself to do this so she could make Quidditch slightly easier.

With that she stomped off waiting and planning for the moment she can pay Jayden back for this embarrassment. She was pissed now. One thing she wouldn't give up on was payback. And boy was Jayden going to get it.

[Hogsmeade - Honeydukes]

The wind seemed to be picking up, causing flakes of snow which had drifted down peacefully only moments ago to dance erratically. Flurries of snow blew around, attacking every bit of exposed skin like icy needles and giving the students an added incentive to hurry along to their destinations. Alexandra pushed forward, her head bent low to shield her face and eyes from Mother Nature's fickle moods. A particularly strong gust of wind blew away the Ravenclaw's hat and her hair streamed out behind her like a long red banner caught in the wind. Great. Now it's going to be all knotted. She thought vehemently while blinking away the flakes of snow which had settled on top of her long lashes. The girl quickened her pace as she reached out and gathered her hair at the nape of her neck, twisting it into a long coil and keeping hold of it firmly which was no small feat; considering that the wind was intent on wreaking havoc with her hair.

After a few long minutes later Mother Nature seemed to be getting her sudden fit of pique under control just as Alexandra and her companions reached the sweet shop. The redhead stood aside to let her friends enter first and whipped out her wand, her body slightly angled towards the direction they had come from. "Accio!" She called out while pointing her wand and waited expectantly for her hat which came zooming towards her barely a few seconds later. Clutching the fly away hat in her hands with a satisfied smile, the girl headed into the never empty shop.

A merry jingle announced her arrival as she closed the door behind her and a smile snuck its way onto her face. Comfortable warmth and the deliciously sweet smells of candy enveloped her like the embrace of a loving family member, efficiently chasing away the cold. Gloved hands ran through her hair as she sought to restore some semblance of order back to the windswept locks, her crystalline blue eyes flicking over the students as she headed towards the candy display. Perhaps she would buy her friends some Chocolate Frogs. "How about we head to the Three Broomsticks after this? I could really use a butterbeer." She shot a quick smile at the trio as she walked up to the counter.

Alexandra's attention was drawn to a boy who seemed to be hoarding enough candy to last an impending apocalypse, one which she'd obviously missed the memo about. The young man was determined to act out the phrase 'kid in a candy shop', it seemed. An amused smirk tugged at the girl's lips as she arched an elegant brow.

"Is there going to be a sudden and tragic stop in the production of candy? I seem to have missed the memo." She couldn't help asking.

Aeorious_best.jpg

[ Hogsmeade Village: High Street ]

Sidney was obviously occupied with other thoughts as the reply he got from the teen was hardly anything intelligent. He seemed to be off in his own little world again, his mind slow on the uptake as it clicked into automatic.

"Ah yes, I got a really nice discount from these arm pads and bloody hell Professor Van Abaron is that you?!"

Aeorious chuckled quietly under the protection of his mask. Sidney's voice had gone up a few octaves into something that reminded the vampire of the reaction one would get out of a cat if said person stepped on it's tail. It was amusing and intriguing all at once to watch. It was oddly endearing to witness him crawl through the foggy depths of his day-dream consumed mind and come to the conclusion that it was indeed Aeorious walking beside him.

"Hello," the man in question answered with a tip of his head and a grin, the latter hidden away from view. The boy stopped dead in his tracks right then, looking up at the sky in a sudden epiphanic moment, then back to the vampire. Aeorious stopped walking as well and turned to face Sidney fully. The kid's jaw dropped, the paper bag following suit -- he watched the bag fall from Sidney's hand with little interest, his eyes flicking down to the place it lay on the snow before settling on the startled boy's face once more.

"How...?"

As his lover, Aeorious was more than willing to share the knowledge of how his daylight trip had come to be -- but as his professor, the vampire wished to point out the obvious and reprimand the kid for not thinking as was supposed second nature to those who belonged to Ravenclaw. However, neither came into play at the moment for Sidney suddenly turned quite red in the face, and hair -- quite literally. It caught Aeorious a bit off-guard, an eyebrow arching in a questioning manner at the sight. What in Merlin's name was Sidney thinking of now? The thought of how Aeorious was walking in the sunlight didn't have any duel meanings of the sexual nature-- oh.

"O-O-O-Of course I wasn't thinking of last night!"

The boy flipped from one conversation to the next without giving any warning apart from physically changing into the epitome of guilty and embarrassed. His rebuke was stuttered, an obvious lie even if it wasn't accompanied by the theatrics.

"I-I-I mean, why would I?"

"Why wouldn't you? You are a teenager after all." Aeorious replied without missing a beat. Teenagers will always be teenagers after all, no matter the species.

An awkward cough was his reply, accompanied by the lovely human notion of clearing ones throat to change the subject in an uncomfortable manner.

"M-More importantly, how are you outside at this time of the day, Sir?"

A valid question, or continuation of a previous question that was abandoned earlier to be specific. Aeorious decided to go about the route of having Sidney use his brain a bit, and gestured to his attire with a nonchalant hand-gesture.

"My newly acquired clothes," The vampire replied simply, details were more-or-less unneeded for the time being. "They were a gift -- awfully useful they are, as you can see." Aeorious spread his arms to either side, exhibiting the lack of burning flesh and dying vampire as an obvious example of the usefulness the clothes were. "Though they are certainly not the most appealing to look at, they do the job well." He didn't wearing the cloak, he enjoyed that part of the ensemble, but the mask was a bit much, even for his standards.

"Ah, but more importantly.." Aeorious said as he slid into a crouch at Sidney's feet, his masked face trained on his as he did so. "As of today I can teach during daylight hours and spend more quality time with those who require it once the night falls," he grabbed the paper bag as he was saying this, the cloak pooling around his feet and collecting fallen snow.

"Best to free your nights, Sidney." Aeorious mentioned matter-of-factly as he rose from his position and made to hand Sidney the bag he had dropped earlier. "Seeing as you have an awfully large amount of days to make up in my class thanks to your habit of skipping it this month," he reminded him smugly. Sidney had skipped many of his classes, so the only logical thing for Aeorious (as a teacher of course) was to have him make up for the classes he missed -- obviously the "how" of the situation was up for him to decide.

Viaduct Courtyard » The Viaduct

Sabrina's face had been worth seeing. Just for that, Jay hoped he would have had a camera. But since he did not, all he could do was to try and save it to his memory forever, and reminiscence the day with pride when he let the half-veela girl taste her own medicine. The girl muttered behind him to herself, but the dark haired boy's sharp ears picked up the words with ease.

"Bloody vampire."
"I heard that, you traitorous veela!"

Jay called over his shoulder, but instead of angry he sounded rather indifferent, maybe even hint of amusement in his voice. It was just simply different thing when another half-breed called you like that, it did not feel even half as insulting as when a completely human would. Because when things came down to it, he and Sabrina were equal. A cold wind blew over the courtyard, ruffling up the powdery snow and brought more flakes with it, smacking the Bulgarian boy in the face icily. Jay shuddered and started instantly buttoning up his black trench coat to keep the cold at bay, but his bare throat made him wishfully think of the scarf that he had left to Kiyoko in a hurry. The cold wind was also merciless to his ears, making Jay hope he would have brought something to cover his head with. Or mittens. But he had lost the last pair, and he had not afforded new ones before he had left to school in September. Maybe he could ask Andrei to send him some? But trusting on the man's memory when it came to anything else other than his job was like putting a dragon into Weasley's Explosive Enterprises warehouse and trusting it not to light anything on fire. Just as fruitless.

As Jay was turning his coat collar up as a feeble attempt to fight against the mother nature, Sabrina caught up to him and flipped her hair over her shoulder. Well, she would have, had it not been a tad bit too short for that now. Old habits die hard. It was much less effective and magnificent now, making the girl lack a tiny bit of her sass. However, she was quick to replace that with her cheeky mouth.

"You might have beaten me out here but remember, I never lose."

She was doing the whole sparkling thing again, making declaring war seem pretty attractive. Then she stomped off, fuming to herself. Wait, was she pissed over the game? Girls... And she had tried to summon water up his nose back there. Jay rolled his eyes a bit at her back and pushed his hands into the pockets of his jeans, casually walking a bit behind Sabrina, not even trying to hurry up to catch up to her. Because when the veela girl was angry, it was better to wait and let is pass over like a brief thunderstorm, that was what Jay had learned over the month. She was very touchy, but it also passed over quickly. But lord have mercy upon you if you tried to confront her in middle of her tantrum, that would get you slapped. Jay had learned that the hard way.

The snow crunched under his tennis shoes that were way too thin and way too cold for this weather. Thankfully Jay had worn socks this morning, so they helped just a bit. He did not afford winter shoes right now (he had grown out of the last year's shoes), nor was he very interested even looking for any since he just liked his own shoes that were already nicely walked in for his feet. Well, he could have afforded winter shoes if he would have not had something else in mind for his money. Some things just came first before new shoes in his priorities. He could survive this winter with little shivering and maybe some warmth charms. Sacrifices needed to be made if he wanted to do what he had been thinking for few days.

Professor MacNeill and couple of female students were walking towards the viaduct as well little farther away, the large hound still with the man. Their walking speed was a tad bit slower because of the man's bad leg and his need to lean onto the cane, so Jay passed the group soon enough, glancing at them with his piercing blue eyes with little interest -- also making sure he kept his distance still with the dog, you know, just in case it would suddenly decide to want a piece of his leg or something. Then the naturally sullen looking Slytherin ducked his head, lifting up the collar of his jacket again, fighting bravely against the wind that was really strong in the viaduct. Why did the winters have to be so damn freezing? Why could it not be nicely warm all the time? Jay shivered, not helping that his teeth clattered a bit already. He was so bad against the cold weathers, so it was no wonder that he had grown to dislike them.

Hogsmeade :: Honeydukes

As he had finished ordering all the candy that he could possibly want, he accepted the bag that had been tied at the top so that none of it would possibly spill out. All of the sweets stuffed in this easy to carry container, heavier than he expected but still nothing to complain about, made him realize that he didn't have to go all out every time he stepped into Honeydukes. That being said, it wasn't like like this was a bad thing by any means. He brushed his teeth regularly, and took great care of his other dental hygiene needs. He ran and generally worked out almost daily, so it wasn't as though the candy would make him fat, and he took great care of cleaning himself every time he showered so there was no chance of breaking out. While all of these reasons, when laid down within his mind within quick succession of one another made his purchase make total sense, he realized that others would still find his purchase silly or ridiculous. As if to confirm that thought process, a female voice cooed from behind him as if to tease.

"Is there going to be a sudden and tragic stop in the production of candy? I seem to have missed the memo."
Adison turned calmly to see where the voice had come from. Blue eyes that seemed to match the winter weather that spun around Hogsmeade Village. Dark red hair that stood out like fire, in direct contrast to her eyes and fair skin. A petite girl, and extremely gorgeous in the male student's opinions. Alexandra Ashwood, sixth year from Ravenclaw.

Bright emerald green eyes that sat below golden locks made eye contact with the girl before he chuckled. He knew her all too well from classes, and as a rival duelist. "None such that I'm aware of, but I can't help but want to sink my teeth into something sweet when it's around me." His voice seemed to resonate through the halls, passion and power behind every word. His long braid hung down his back and bounced with every step as he walked up to her, leaving about a meter's length between them. Leaning forward and slightly to the side, he winked at her and smiled. "Speaking of, since I've bought more than enough here already, maybe you'd fancy a trip to the Three Broomsticks Inn with me? I'll buy you a couple rounds of butterbeer and you grace me with some of your valuable time!"

That was something Adison did though, admittedly. He liked to flirt when girls were around him, and although sometimes he could stop himself from doing so how was he expected to refrain when in a presence of someone like Alexandra? She was, arguably, one of the most gorgeous girls within Hogwarts and someone who caught the eye of quite a few boys. Luckily enough, he wasn't exactly scared away from competition. An athlete always competed, and a duelist always fought for what they wanted- Victory. Right now, what he wanted was a date with a lovely redhead.

Hogsmeade Village; High Street

Sid was painfully aware of the heat that had rushed to his face. It was mortifying to know you were furiously blushing like an idiot in front of the person you most wanted to impress -- not to mention that he was not yet even aware that his hair had turned completely ginger on it's own. It was already really embarrassing when it happened in front of a complete stranger, so just imagine how it felt like for Sidney to know he was red as a tomato in front of his crush and teacher, who was already so damn mature and adult and whatnot. It made him feel like a little kid, and it was really humiliating when all he wanted was to make Aeorious see him as an adult, and not just a silly teenager as the vampire had pretty much stated few moments ago. He was seventeen for crying out loud, which was the coming of age for wizards! When would Aeorious stop seeing him as a teenager? When the number of his age would stop with something else instead of -teen?

The vampire was now nonchalantly gesturing his getup, giving the little bit sulking and embarrassed metamorphmagi something else to think about.

"My newly acquired clothes," The vampire replied simply, "They were a gift -- awfully useful they are, as you can see." Aeorious spread his arms to either side, exhibiting the lack of burning flesh and dying vampire as an obvious example of the usefulness the clothes were. "Though they are certainly not the most appealing to look at, they do the job well."

The Professor's voice came a little bit muffled behind the mask. It was odd to look at his face when you could not see it, all you could hear was the voice and try to imagine what kind of expressions he wore while he spoke. It was also a tiny bit disturbing, since Sid had no idea when the man was looking at his direction, making him feel a bit odd about the lack of eye-contact or where exactly look. The feeling was very similar to when someone you know is wearing sunglasses and you can not see their eyes; you never know when the person is actually looking at you.

"Ah, but more importantly..." Aeorious said as he slid into a crouch at Sidney's feet, making the boy blink is surprise and look down, his masked face trained on his as he did so. "As of today I can teach during daylight hours and spend more quality time with those who require it once the night falls," he grabbed the paper bag as he was saying this, the cloak pooling around his feet and collecting fallen snow. Sid, whose face had finally started to regain it's original color, felt his cheeks heat up once more as he swallowed, feeling the butterflies on his stomach again. He was not sure if to be intimidated or feel happy, so he kind of felt the mixture of both.

"Best to free your nights, Sidney." Professor Van Abaron mentioned matter-of-factly as he rose from his position and handed Sidney the bag he had dropped earlier, who took it obediently and just nodded quietly, feeling odd that he was nearly eye-level with someone for a change -- and even having to tilt his head upwards because Aeorious was couple of inches taller than him. "Seeing as you have an awfully large amount of days to make up in my class thanks to your habit of skipping it this month," he reminded him smugly.

"I'm sorry, Sir." Sid breathed out, trying his best to collect his wits and forbid his thoughts entering the area of improper fantasies. It was really weird how his whole head seemed to hit blank with this man, when he was always so self-confident and word ready with everyone else. It was quite unnerving, really. However, somehow as he was not seeing Aeorious' face now, collecting himself was a tiny bit easier than it would have been if he would have been staring at the captivating amber eyes directly. But honestly, what exactly snapped the boy out of his stupor was a gust of wind that brought his hair to his eyes. His red hair to his face. What the...? Oh crap, his hair had turned red at some point without him realizing?! How embarrassing! This has not happened since his third year! (Except on the that one night few weeks ago, but that was a whole different thing.)

Sidney took a couple of steps backwards from the man, feeling like being too close to his presence was fogging up his thoughts and making him go all weird. As if few feet would do any difference, but he could try and lie to himself, so he might actually buy it. Brushing the ginger lock behind his ear that started turning brown, Sidney smiled shyly and flashed his butterscotch eyes upwards while his chin was tilted down a bit, making the kid look like a submissive puppy that knew it had done something bad. But then his expression changed a bit, the shy smile turning into more assertive one now.

"I really couldn't attend your classes, even though I wanted," Sid said, tilting his head a bit, while keeping his eyes on the masked face, now regarding it curiously and spoke the words surprisingly calmly, "because someone nearly took my virginity under the Middle Courtyard tree and was so preoccupied with my chest that he did not even realize to use his superhuman senses and listen to any other people that might walk in on it. Though for you defense, if Professor Ashton would have not interrupted, I would have let you do me on the spot back then."

The smile turned into an impish smirk, the boy's hair now back to it's normal colors. Now bridging their distance closed again, until he was standing toe to toe with the man, and not giving a damn when people were walking past them in the busy street and witnessing the quite intimate looking moment between them. It did not matter when no one knew who it was Sid was talking with. Eyes twinkling, now back to his somewhat more confident self, Sidney had kicked into a full gear of teasing and flirting. "I'll gladly free my nights for your private tutoring, Sir. I learned some really nice new... spells last night. I believe they were very effective on you, at least what I could deduce just how much you were making noise."

The Ravenclaw tilted his head now on the others side, the gaze addressing the mask now from a different angle, wondering what kind of expression the vampire was wearing. He chuckled quietly, and then added with a low sultry voice, leaning closer; "It was really nice to listen to, because I fancy you so much."

Pecking a quick kiss over the mask where the boy expected Aeorious' lips to be, before he twirled around and started talking with a much more upbeat voice, brushing away the whole suggestive behavior like it never happened as Sid advanced forward on the street with a little skip in his step.

"Now, I really need to do some more shopping. I need to visit Gladrags Wizardwear, I need a new winter cloak. This one is a bit too small now, I think I overgrew it over the summer," Sidney spoke suddenly all innocent, turning to look at Aeorious; "You are of course accompanying me, right, Professor? After that you can buy me a butterbeer at Thee Broomsticks as a payback for the all these--" the boy pulled the scarf down a bit, revealing part of his neck that had hickies and bite marks that had little bruising around the puncture wounds, "--that are all over my body. I feel a bit sore, to be honest. But it was worth it."

Pulling the scarf up again to hide away all the marks, Sid shot a little smug look at Aeorious now in turn.

[Hogsmeade>>Honeydukes]

Mother Nature must have really been angry with the people who were outside, as the wind picked up, causing the snow that was falling and the snow that was already on the ground to fly around, probably hitting an awful lot of Hogwarts students in the face. The windshield that Amelia had secretly turned Alexandra into wasn't really helping much now, though Amelia probably had it better than her, whose hat flew off her head after a strong gust of wind. Seeing as her earmuffs weren't flying into the wind after Alexandra's hat, anyway.

Perhaps Mother Nature was only angry at them, though, as the weather mellowed about as soon as they reached the sweet shop. If the weather started getting bad again once they left Honeydukes, Amelia will be pretty sure of that. She'd probably try moving to Canada if the weather got worse though.

But still, Amelia hung around a bit longer to watch Alexandra's hat fly back to her. Magic at work was always a wonder for her. After she had seen that, she turned and entered the sweet shop, the blast of warm air making her smile contentedly. She held the door open until the others reached the door, letting the door go about as soon as they could touch the door. Maybe not the most polite way to hold the door for someone, but she really wanted to get candy, and get away from the cold air. Besides, her fingers felt like they would freeze off, she probably would have let go of the door anyway.

Amelia turned to look at the colourful candies. Sugar quills seemed good. Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans were nice too, although she would obviously have to try hard not to pick up the more disgusting flavours. She decided on those, as well as some Saltwater Taffy(though she was more likely to give those to someone than eat them herself---if she wanted taffy, she'll be more likely to ask her parents to send her some, though the likelihood of her father going near an owl to give it a package of taffy was extremely low).

"How about we head to the Three Broomsticks after this? I could really use a butterbeer."

Amelia nodded in reply. "That sounds good," she said, before she turned back to the candy, picking up what she had decided to get.

Amelia absently noted the student who was talking to Alexandra---well, flirting with her---as she carried her findings to where Ambrosius Flume stood. She greeted him politely as she set her choices down, taking a small drawstring bag out of her pocket and handing him the correct amount of money before picking up her sweets again. She assumed that they probably weren't all done shopping just yet, but Amelia would be fine to start looking at the sweets again. You could never get too much candy, after all.

[[Collab of Ethir, Kyara and Erranruin]]

[[Road to Hogsmeade >> Entrance to Hogsmeade]]

"Yes! Thankyou!" Amy exclaimed excitedly and enveloped Aled in a hug. She let him go after a second and beamed at Elise, "I owe you big time, when do you want to start practising? Where could we go, need somewhere we won't get interrupted or be able to do much damage. I need to find Madison and ask her to try out for the team, you play Elise?" She rattled off the questions with barely a pause for breath, then waited expectantly for a response.

Elise was startled by the torrent of questions Amy was throwing at her. "I....don't play, no. I'm really not very interested in sports," she walked on with them a little, thinking back to what else Amy had asked her, "I say we could start straight away! But I have no idea where we can go...there has to be somewhere....Professor, any ideas?" Elise stopped in her tracks and turned to Aled, her eyebrows raised expectantly.

Aled made minor adjustments to his balance just in time to catch the weight of his niece's enthusiastic hug, still teetering slightly and making a slight 'oomph' sound but smiling and wrapping his free arm about her. Once released, Amy and Elise went into excited chatter, a sound that Aled had always enjoyed listening to. He had been wondering up to that point where they could practice and he had just thought of a classroom that was free for practice when Elise asked him that very thing. "There are a few Ground Floor classrooms free for a while, Class room four would probably be best." He paused to take out a notebook and his wand before giving a quick flick in silence and watching as words and his signature appeared on the parchment. "Here, permission to use the classroom for practice purposes." He tore the page from the little notebook before handing it to Amy and re-stowing the pad back in his jacket pocket. "Also I'd say if you were lookin' to find Madison she left for Hogsmeade this mornin' so thats where you'd be likely to find her." Just then the quaint thatched roofs and merrily puffing chimneys of the little wizard village appeared through the snow some short distance ahead of them and the sound of happy chatter from students could be heard rising from the cobbled streets. Aled grinned and turned back to his company. "Go on then, I'm sure you're eager to get going and I'd doubt my pace is near fast enough for you. Remember, study as well as dueling!"

"Say Professor, before we go," Elise said as she reached into her pocket and withdrew the apple core she'd placed in there earlier, "How does Leeda feel about apples?" She questioned him with a bright smile as she held the remains out towards his dog, Sooty carefully eyeing Leeda up as if daring her to attack her mistress.

Leeda's ears perked up and her whole body went stiff at the sight of the delicious apple core. Her eyes flickered to Aled and then back to her prize in a tense and cautious manner, as though she knew she shouldn't take it but was just hovering on the edge of doing it anyway. Aled suppressed a big grin and mustered a stern glare at the dog, making her tail wilt and her tense hind legs relax and plonk her backside into the snow with a sullen motion. She was such a drama queen. Aled rolled his eyes before coming back to Elise's own bright face.

"She likes them very much! They are a special treat of hers. But I would ask you not to feed her in the day, she'll start getting ideas." He heard a loud huff from the giant dog but she seemed to relinquish the idea of food and padded away into the snow to snuff around in the frosted grasses and ferns. Elise seemed disappointed but accepting as Amy grabbed her hand and lead her away, his niece giving Aled a brief wave and smile goodbye as she went.

[Hogwarts; Music Room]

She answered positively to his question. Not that he needed one after seeing her smirk, it told him enough that he had found a companion inside of his ideas. However in what degree they agreed to each other was still unclear, something he had yet to figure out as she followed, her voice laced with the British accent he found so odd to hear. At least, when he first moved to the place. It had sounded like a hot potato in the back of your mouth, however that was all in a past where he had yet to accustom himself to the place. A time where he still bothered to complain about the bad weather they had to face here and the fact that the summers were rained away.

That was now all left in the past as now the current male was talking to the stranger, inside of a damp room that was surely to hurt the quality of the music instruments. The castle of Hogwarts was certainly not designed to keep wood in its best state, the old castle facing the same troubles of decay and demanding the same attention as any 'ruin' build in old grey times written and pasted onto pages of history books only a selected interested themselves with. It was history, just as much as they were part of a history that they would either celebrate, be ashamed off or forget.

Looking back up to the female when she made a summoning spell August followed the cleaning utensils that had come upon her demand. The door that was supposed to keep them out of sight and lock the chemicals away unless 'cleaning' day was nearing, unlocked and easily passable. Another disappointing detail about the school as he wondered how many would know about this door never locked. After all, chemicals was fun to play around with, specially when young and when potion classes was still like the 'brews' the muggles made as a child, throwing in whatever they could find and call it 'witch' potion. Of course he himself had his share of experiments as well, having tried to mix bleach, ammonia or the soap used to wash dishes with into the potions he had been taught at school. He had even tried to use the residue of the coffee bones inside of a few of his potions when young, but he knew better now. It was only his mother who was less happy with his experimenting, finding the mess that it left behind troublesome to clean.

Rising up from the place he had been seated on for a longer while the male looked the girl over again. Trying to make something of her character, it was clear that she was confident in music as well as she held up a strong attitude that reminded him of the Slytherins. A natural cockiness, but not one up to mischief, just the lack of care towards the crowd's opinion. In silence he just took a step closer into the female's direction, taking the mop she held out, wondering whether she had grown up inside of the muggle world as well.

For many on the school it was obvious to use an incantation to clean up their rooms, for cleaning spells was simple magic. However, though August had been one of the many who knew how to perform it even before their attendance at Hogwarts his upbringing hadn't much allowed him to. It confused the muggles with whom his parents worked with and it would confuse his peers with who he grew up with. So as to not to make it a habit to clean up by the use of a simple spell his mother had made sure to make it a habit to clean by hand. Though he had to admit that he had been slacking off on that habit ever since his first year. Though that didn't mean he didn't know how to clean by hand.

Another few moments passed as the male had taken the mop inside of his hand, looking at the girl with a straight face before finally deciding to tell him his name. "August Yilmaz." He spoke, not really bothering to go through the formal procedure as he just found that he somehow was obliged to share it right now. She hadn't asked for it, neither had he bothered to ask for her name, however as it seemed that the two of them were to be stuck around in the room for longer he supposed he might as well introduce himself. There was just this feeling that stuck to him that he was to encounter this female more, most likely because of their shared interest in music.
