[Great Hall]

The sullen blonde boy's annoyed look went straight over Alexandra's head, probably stabbing into some poor soul unfortunate enough to have glanced their way. Their strange friendship (though she wasn't sure it could be correctly called that) had rendered her immune to all of his glares, sneers and other such looks of annoyance he shot her way in reply to her usual sarcastic comments. Reaching for a cup of hot tea, she noticed the other girl try and fail to hide an amused smile. Well, at least one person seemed to appreciate her comment.

Unsurprisingly enough, the conversation dwindled to nothing after Theo's cranky comment telling her to finish her breakfast and by doing so letting him eat in peace. She had no arguments against that as the redhead was hungry as well. She turned back to her breakfast, raising her eyes every so often to observe the hustle and bustle of most students as they hurried off to Hogsmeade. She too had plans to visit a couple of shops. It was a delightfully cold day which would be a crime to waste inside. Though most people wouldn't use the words 'delightful' and 'cold' in the same sentence, Alexandra did, She loved the freshly fallen snow and the crisp air. Raising the cup to take a sip of the steaming tea, she continued to make her plans for the day.

"Are you going? To Hogsmeade, I mean."

Theo's unexpected comment caused her to nearly choke on her tea as her eyebrows shot upwards in surprise. Of all the things she would've expected to come out of his mouth, fire breath and tadpoles included, that wasn't even anywhere on the list. She would've expected him to question why someone in their right minds would give up the warmth and comfort of Hogwarts to walk through the cold and snow, dodging possible snowballs in order to visit a bunch of shops and other such unimportant places, had the topic of Hogsmeade been brought up. Taking a long sip of tea, she pondered whether sleep deprivation had finally managed to drive him nuts.

"Yes, I am. Do you want to come along?" She replied after a few seconds. It would be amusing, if nothing else. Theo in Hogsmeade. She wasn't going to give up such a rare opportunity. Never having been one to eat too much, she had already finished her breakfast and stood up, glancing at Amelia. In her moment of surprise, she'd forgotten the other girl entirely. "What about you, Amelia? Would you like to join us?"

Great Hall

Alexandra was obviously shocked from his question because the redhead nearly choked on her tea, the expression on her face not so elegant no more. Theodore gazed at the witch, not the least fazed from her reaction. He waited for her answer as he drank his cup of water, still not taking his eyes off from her. Finally, Alexandra replied; pulling her smug look as usual. Looks like she recovered fast. "Yes, I am. Do you want to come along?" Theodore thought for a moment, taking her invitation in consideration. Should he go? It's not like as if staying here at Hogwarts was going to entertain the young blonde.

He gave a brief nod, "Sure," Theodore patted the crumb off from his lap, "I've been meaning to get something for my parents, anyway." To be honest, if it was anyone besides Alexandra; Theodore would have probably decline. After all, he wasn't really good with people in general and just thinking about the crowd at Hogsmeade tires him out. If he was with a company that wouldn't, well, make him feel uncomfortable then Theodore would tolerate them. Now, hopefully Alexandra wouldn't tease him so much or he would regret coming in a second.

Alexandra rose from her seat, and as if she just noticed the girl's presence; the redhead seemed to be surprise. Theodore looked at who she was staring at. "What about you, Amelia? Would you like to join us?" Alexandra asked, as Theodore stood up. He didn't really care if another person came along. As long as Amelia was not annoying the Ravenclaw, then he was fine.

[Great Hall]

Amelia continued to absentmindedly listen to them, at Alexandra's brief moment of surprise---which was actually quite funny to watch---and the following talk about her going to Hogsmeade and Theo joining her.

After Alexandra stood up, she had seemed to just notice Amelia sitting at the table, and said, "What about you, Amelia? Would you like to join us?"

Amelia figured they had forgotten about her(which mostly would have been her fault---she doesn't usually speak unless there is, say, a scary person in front of her who technically started a conversation first anyway), and she was rather surprised when Alexandra asked whether she wanted to go. She took a quick glance at Theo, and---assumed---that he wouldn't care whether or not she followed them.

Should she stay inside, and stay at least mildly warm, or should she follow her two housemates into the snow, if just to be entertained by their talking? Both choices had something good about it, at least. One would involve being warm but bored, and the other would involve being cold but entertained. They both seemed fairly good.

Which is why it took a second or so for Amelia to actually make up her mind. When she had, she shrugged and stood up. "Sure, why not," she replied. Though, if she got hit by too many snowballs, she'd probably leave those two alone then, either to trudge back to school, or to join in on the snowball fights just to get revenge on the people who hit her. Or, she may just leave to do something else. Amelia wasn't too good when it came to following people around in a place she didn't want to go. Hence why she hadn't had anyone else to go with.

[On the road to Hogwarts>>Hogwarts]

See, even walking back to school was pretty boring when you had no one to talk to.

Technically, Adam could have spoken to someone, but his cousin Ryan, who started following Adam at some point, liked to talk on and on about things Adam couldn't care less about("Oh, your rings are made out of pipecleaners? No, I don't care, I don't even know what those are"), or said things just to annoy Adam("Ah, Adam. Sweet, naïve little Adam, so adorable.") which just made Adam just regret going to Hogsmeade even more(although Ryan probably would have went to talk to him, whether or not he went to Hogsmeade).

But the good thing about having a 5th year terror following you around was that you walked back to school so much faster than if you walked alone, and in no time at all, Adam found himself back in the Entrance Hall. Though, after he was back, the fact that his cousin was around was a bad thing once more. Perhaps Adam could ditch him if he went back to the Hufflepuff Basement, but Adam didn't particularly want to go there. It would be all lonely and empty. Adam would rather just wander around the school, and maybe talk to someone who wasn't his cousin. Though if that happened, it would probably be his cousin who pushed him to talk to someone. His cousin always did like to force Adam to talk to people.

But when Ryan soon departed, saying something about how he wanted to find a nice place to eat the candy he had bought, and Adam was left alone. Ah well. Maybe Adam could go find someone to talk to.

He certainly did regret the fact that he hadn't bought anything like candy, but he didn't regret it enough to wait go back to Hogsmeade. No, he'll buy candy on the next trip.

Slytherin Dungeon; Boys Dorm; Jayden & Peter's Room

While Peter and Zoey were focused on each other in a way that it nearly made Jay want to puke because of the amount of P.D.A. in the room (what the hell was with these two anyway), the tallest of the four focused on building back his confidence and putting back the pieces of what remained of his dignity. He did not like of the way these two were talking about him like he was not present, or the way Peter acted like he knew shit about anything, or Zoey acting like she was above him. He also did not like it how Kiyoko was pitying him, it was doing anything but good for his ego that was already bruised as it was. Overall the whole situation was frustrating and starting to make him angry, but he did not afford to blow up and make things worse. He wanted to scream to let out all the anxiety and guilt, but that would have made him look like a total madman, so instead Jay just groaned silently and ran his fingers through his black locks and rubbed his temple. Peter and Zoey were starting to give him a headache.

"So snake 1, 2 and 3. How exactly do you three plan on getting me out of here? I can't imagine ever forgiving any of you for getting me in trouble and forcing me to miss my trip to Hogsmeade," Zoey said when she was finally done practically dry humping Peter who was pretty much rewarding her for abusing his roommate mentally and verbally, like giving a treat to a spoiled dog for performing a trick. But that did not really come as a surprise, as the French was a mere wizard himself, so there was no way he was going to step up for a half-breed anyway. No one ever did, but Jay had long ago stopped expecting that too. Wizardkind only always looked after one another, and helped the lesser beings only when it was convenient for them. That was how it had always been, and would most probably always stay like. Now suck it up and deal with it. Life is not always fair for all, and that how it is.

"Do you know any way we can get Zoey out of here unseen?" Came from Peter who had suddenly turned towards Jay who had been scowling at the stone floor as if it had wronged him somehow. Jay grit his teeth, and tried to feign as casual as possible. See? Only when it was convenient for them. Sometimes... people just made him sick to his stomach. And this was one of those moments. And the worst part was when he could not take it out on anything or anyone right away. Some poor soul however would feel it soon enough who would happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Before he could answer, the two were again in their own little world of rosy pink glow and hearts. Jay resisted the urge to throw up once again, hoping he did not look that idiotic when he was around Kiyoko. If he did... he should go and throw himself down from the Astronomy Tower immediately. Just looking at these two was awkward, and made him feel secondhand embarrassment. So much actually that he simply had to step in and do something, anything to end whatever romantic soap opera the situation spontaneously turned into. Where the hell had he been plunged into? Into the Days of Our Lives?

"Yes, I do know a way," Jay said loud enough that would get their attention as he stepped forward and proceeded to grab Zoey by the shoulders and started to forcefully lead her away, hurrying to add his voice full of annoyance and occasional sprinkles of sarcasm; "And yes, yes, she is going with you to Hogsmeade, Berlioz. Now, you have a date, I will show her out now so she can go and pretty up, and everyone will be happy; me especially. Thank you and good bye, it was so nice having you over, Black."

Jay pushed her forward towards one of the shadow cast walls, determined to get this over and done with so he could get rid of Zoey finally and hopefully never see her again (well, until next class with her at least) and reached out his hand past her, as if he would have been reaching out for a doorknob that was not there. Then clenching his fingers and twisting his wrist, he ripped out the veil in between this dimension and void which cause the shadow grow darker and making it look basically like liquid darkness; the howling sound of air rushing into the void filled the room because of the air pressure differences for few seconds, powerful enough to ruffle their hair gently and make the heavy green velvet drapes sway. When the portal to the darkness was open, the presence of it was typically there; of something ancient and alive, and full of magic. Just feeling the presence of the void would give the feeling of the presence of something threatening that was not exactly even there, or did not technically even exist; like when you were a child and afraid of the boogeymen under your bed or in your closet. (Except in some cases they were real and just Boggarts.) Even if you kept telling yourself there was nothing, your instincts would still make you feel a whiff of fear of the unknown, telling you there was absolutely something out there lurking and out to get you.

Well, maybe for normal kids that is how it felt like. But for Jay the darkness and the night were his companions since birth, so he was right at home with the whole thing, and did not seem to be bothered at all. Actually, he seemed slightly more relaxed, but mostly just still annoyed more than anything.

"...And here is your ticket out," Jay stated as he presented the oddly wallowing shadow portal in the wall for Zoey, sounding almost a tad bit proud about his little party trick. Mostly he just hoped it would freak the pink haired girl out so he could get at least little bit back at her for the earlier. His throat still hurt for being strangled. Call him petty, but he really wished she would be scared shitless of the dark. "You'll need me for it though; you can't walk in there alone since technically... there is no ground."

Jay smirked ever so deviously, and pushed Zoey towards the shadow a bit.

[Library]

Reed blinked and focused back into the world of reality. He herd her statement and was slightly curious to be sure but it seemed like sarcasm? He didnt know but he looked at her. Many possibilities flooded fourth about her situation and reasons. He closed the book and looked slightly uneasy he shifted his weight from his left to his right. He didn't like being put on the spot. Looking at her he nodded. "i don't know what i can do for you but maybe i can help you...based on you being here in this section i could venture about a personal hex or curse your looking into? I know some but if i can i will..."

Reed looked at the girl and began to analyze her more closely now. He missed his computer at home, he could pick up many things on the net quicker then going through a library and unfortunately curses and magic are simple muggle misunderstandings but since he was no computer... he could only learn from a person if he really looked them over. "Are you perhaps a sixth year slitherin, like sweets...and mostly antisocial, thats all i can gather...But you seem very capable so why would you need help of anyone...?" he asked her. it just didnt make sense.

[Great Hall] – [On the way to Hogsmeade]

The redhead acknowledged Theo's answer with a nod and waited for the other girl to make up her mind, her body half turned away from the table. Honestly, it was just a simple yes or no question. It shouldn't have required that much thought. After a few moments of pondering who knew what, Amelia finally voiced her assent and rose, much to Alexandra's relief. She wasn't all too fond of socializing with many people, let alone invite them along. Perhaps someone had snuck something into her drink. However, Amelia seemed to be quiet and not very prone to hysterics or other ridiculous nonsense. At least, she hoped she was right. On the bright side, even if she was wrong, she could just 'lose' the girl somewhere in the crowds at Hogsmeade. She was certain Theo wouldn't really mind. "Alright then, let's go."

---------

Bundled up in mostly warm clothes, she stepped outside and drew in a long breath through her nose. The brisk air felt wonderful, a pleasant change from the warmth and safety of the school. All around her she could see students in small groups of twos and threes enjoying the small break from classes and productivity. A bunch of girls were in front of the Ravenclaw trio, chattering amongst themselves and moving at a dying snail's pace. Their incessant chattering gave way to something even worse. Giggling. High pitched, girly giggles exploded in a wave of sound which threatened to break the eardrums of anyone unlucky enough to have been caught in it. Rolling her eyes, the redhead quickened her pace and moved away from the girls before she caught Gigglitis, the annoying disorder which caused one to make incomprehensible noises much like a bunch of drunken pixies and gradually drive bystanders to violence.

"Any place in particular that you want to visit?" She asked her companions as they came within view of a bunch of Third years having a snowball fight. The boys were spread out on either side of the road, ducking behind snow forts and popping back up to hurl balls of snow and ice at their 'opponents'. In order to get to the village, the trio would have to cross the battlefield and brave the hail of snowballs flying willy nilly. Alexandra could've easily asked them to put a stop to it, she was known as someone not to be trifled with after all. And she had a damn good death glare which could rival a basilisk, or so she'd been told. Being her, she'd take in as a compliment. She wasn't cruel enough to ruin their fun though, as it would be nothing more than petty selfishness. Not hesitating for even a moment, the redhead began to walk between the two warring factions. Before the first snowball could hit her, she whipped out her wand a flicked it, casting a strong enough shield spell. Her time in the Duelling club had taught her more than a few tricks. The snowballs ricocheted off of the shield. Cries of protest rose as the projectiles found their way back to their owners none too gently.

Alexandra reached the other side without even a single hair out of place. The shield spell was so underappreciated, in her opinion. It was one of her favorite spells in the world. She shot a glance at her companions to see how they had fared. The girl half assumed Theo to block any snowball flying his way with his face. Either that or he'd glare the poor thing into a puddle.

On the way to Hogsmeade

An hour passed, as the three trios was on their way to the village. Theodore was wearing his typical worn out hoodie, the outerwear thick enough for the Ravenclaw to be warm. He rubbed his mitten-clothed hands together, creating extra heat for himself while Alexandra spoke, "Any place in particular that you want to visit?" On cue, a burst of giggles was heard from a group of girls, as they loudly chattered about whatever's happening in their life. He stared at the small crowd for a moment, before answering, "Not really.." He then looked back at the Ravenclaws. Now that he think about it, Theodore never had a good laugh before in his life. There was some time where he let out a chuckle, but that was about it. His calculating stares was fixed on the small crowd, as they still haven't noticed about his presence. "Youths," Theodore muttered under his breath, before he continued to walk with his companions. It was a wonder how people could still laugh heartily under this freezing weather. Not paying much attention to his surroundings, Theodore hasn't realized he stepped on a ground of battle field before getting chucked by a snow ball.

Alerted by the hit, Theodore rubbed his face to wipe it away, only making the smear of the snow worse,
"Wha--" Theodore turned where the snowball came from and saw that there was a third year staring at him in shock. He only gazed back, before shaking his head. With that, he made it through the playful fight in rushed pace. He glanced at Alexandra to see that she was perfectly fine, not a single hair out of place. It was as if she took a nice morning stroll, her devious smirk printed on her lips like usual.

[Library]

She could tell she knocked him out of the focus of his book. He simply blinked at her, his green eyes locked on hers. What was he thinking? Anice felt her hands get sweaty and her face turn red as the stranger continued to stare at her. It had probably been a few seconds, but to her it felt like ages. Finally he nodded, "I don't know what I can do for you but maybe I can help you...based on you being here in this section I could venture about a personal hex or curse your looking into? I know some but if I can I will..."
She knew he had suspected her! The entire time he was probably thinking why she was even there, questioning what kind of a freak she actually was! Anice held herself from lashing out again, she was asking him for help after all. Plus she could tell he hadn't meant any harm with the observation. In fact, it seemed she'd shaken him with her request. He returned to the awkward, seemingly shy persona he had when he'd first knocked her over. He shifted his weight uneasily, as if what she'd asked for was marriage. Then again, she knew what she'd asked for was no easy task, she'd spent nearly her entire life looking for answers. But he didn't know that...did he? She refocused her attention to the stranger who seemed to return to look her over once again. She didn't like the feeling of being observed, it set her cheeks aflame. Still she tried to keep the appearance of dominance in her face. Then he suddenly replied,"Are you perhaps a sixth year, Slytherin, who likes sweets...and is mostly antisocial? That's all I can gather...But you seem very capable, so why would you need help of anyone...?"
Anice nearly lost her balance. How could he possibly know that?? She understood that she wore Slytherin colors, so that was obvious...but she'd never told him she was a sixth year, unless she really was acting as immature as she thought. Her face became uncontrollably red with the accusation. She hadn't even had a lollipop in over an hour (and it showed)! Mostly because she ran out, but still! And as for calling her antisocial; well, she knew she was...but she didn't like hearing it said so bluntly like that! Her face was storming as she tried to hold in all the anger that rushed over her. No one had ever read her so easily, not to mention lay her out like that so bluntly. He was obviously much more smart than she had first anticipated...
Holding back her tongue was like trying to leash a fiery dragon, she couldn't believe how this guy set her on edge,
"you don't think I've tried to find the answers myself..." she said through her teeth, "You seem like a smart a-" she corrected herself, "er-hem, intellectual..." She did her best to manage a half-smile, then she continued, her tone slightly changing, "You see, I have this...um, cat..." She fiddled around with her fingers as the lie seeped from her lips, "It seems, as a prank, someone has decided to hex her...and now things go flying in every which direction whenever she-" Anice choked, "er- when she gets upset or angry..." She continued as if to begin to ramble, "It's gotten pretty bad now, sometimes I'll wake up and my room will look like hell...like a hurricane has just blown through..." Her words began to speed up as she continued, her nerves and feelings beginning to surface, "And the poor thing's gotten so lonely, she can't hang out with all the other cat's because I know if I let her she might hurt them and then what will I do??" She took a sudden breathe, realizing she broke a little. She looked up to his face, her eyes desperate. She didn't know why she was putting so much faith in him, he just kind of gave off that feeling. Like she could tell him everything. Or maybe it was the fact she hadn't had sugar in over an hour....

[On the way to Hogsmeade]

Amelia followed the two other Ravenclaws down the path towards Hogsmeade Village. She was bundled up in a black puffer coat, wearing fuzzy white earmuffs. Fresh air, where she actually had space to breathe without breathing on someone was fairly nice, but she still wished for it to be warmer.

But clearly, the group of girls just ahead of them were fine with the weather, as they conversed loudly, letting out some rather annoying giggles. Amelia sighed lightly and followed Alexandra as she started to walk faster. Muggle, witch, it really didn't matter, they still acted the same, with all the giggling and gossiping, and generally annoying everyone within hearing distance. Of course, Amelia herself was a girl… But that wasn't the point.

Amelia's two companions seemed to think the same as well. At least, Amelia assumed that, considering how Alexandra had sped up to pass the girls, and Amelia could faintly hear Theo mutter something like, "Youths." Funny, considering the fact that he wasn't really old. Old in spirit, perhaps.

"Any place in particular that you want to visit?" asked Alexandra once they had safely passed the girls and came into view of a group of boys having a snowball fight.

Amelia pulled her hood up as she answered with a, "Not that I can think of." Her hood was going to be her little protection against the snowballs. She could have tried her hand with the Shield Charm, but, well, her wand was in the inner pocket of her coat, and it would probably just make it worse if she unzipped it. She could endure a few hits, as long as there wasn't any ice in the snowballs.

Still, Amelia grabbed some snow from the ground, packing it tightly into a ball and throwing it at someone who she was fairly sure hit her before when they were nearly past the boys, before looking at Alexandra and Theo to see how they fared. Theo's looked as though he had been hit at least once, his cheek still a bit wet from the snow. But Alexandra looked absolutely fine, with not so much as a hair out of place.

Shield Charm. Definitely the Shield Charm.

CecileeMarshall-1-Sharp_zps1127c2ef.png

`
HOGSMEADE VILLAGE '

Hair in the worst,
disheveled state ever --- almost resembling a madwoman --- Cecilee Marshall stood at one of the shops' in-betweens, an irritated look on her face whilst casting Wingardium Leviosa on her dear crystal ball like what she does almost daily, despite the fear of seeing something so similar to her childhood nightmare. A small, leather notebook was in left her hand, filled with incantations of spells she was to memorize and practice. Her wand was grasped on her right, slowly being twirled as the crystal ball circled above her head, shakily, mimicking the slightest detail of her stance. She woke up in fuming mood, seeing that Peeves kindly told --- no, described how awful she looked in a wonderful chant. Oh, how she would love to let the carnivorous sparks she drew in her childhood devour that poltergeist, or at least let him leave her alone. Her greyish eyes scanned the scribbles on the parchment, insulting her own doodles.

If there was something else that bothered her, it was the fact she disregarded the cold. Maybe the cold never bothered her, but waking up barefoot in the cold weather, she reconsidered her usual sweaters. How she wished she wore the thicker ones. It was her usual get up, only with a messy hair-do. It could've been a wrong choice to go immediately to Hogsmeade, first thing in the morning, but avoiding the poltergeist was her number one priority. A stack of homework was what awaited her back at the common room. She shuddered at the thought, the crystal ball following suit. At her location, she wasn't going to harm anyone... unless they're an enemy that decided to ruin her already broken mood. A few hits from the heavy ball wouldn't hurt, wouldn't it? At least Cecilee wasn't getting bruised. An evil mental laugh filled her head as she imagined them get shards on ---

"Too brutal Cecilee, too brutal," she muttered to herself, scolding her beautiful imagination. Focus regained, she returned to what she was actually doing, thriving to get the unknown spells into her brain. "Maybe next time you'll get yourself into bloody trouble," she added with a touch of an accent.

[Hogsmeade; outside of the inn]

He couldn't recall when, however at some point of time the female had taking in the sign, or at least understood the situation as such to introduce herself. While August didn't held much care for her name the male could only slowly nod at her. Van Reeden, registered his mind as he tried to remember where he had heard that one before. Gryffindor, van Reeden, these two seemed to connect to each other as it seemed that he had crossed this combination earlier on. Most obviously inside of another rumour as the Gryffindor and Slytherin seemed to cause a lot of trouble this year. Was it no troll attack then was it because of the infamous names that Hogwarts tend to attract. All by all August felt a little troubled, not wanting to come across as rude, but neither intending to chitchat any longer with this odd female.

Embarrassment seemed to cross the face of Van Reeden, or so August had decided to call her from now on. As if she had realized what she had been doing, waking up from a long dream, but August wasn't exactly sure why again she had been so captivated by him. While she followed on the conversation seemed to grow more strained and awkward, Van Reeden now rubbing the back of her neck as she had no clue where her friends had left off at. Hopeless, crossed August mind as he chuckled to himself. It was too unfortunate that they had to walk into each other at Hogsmeade. Where the crowd was as busy as usual and the groups in much haste to visit all of the places they wanted to go to. Troublesome, since that meant that the girl in front of him was going to have trouble finding her friends back. Unfortunate because August couldn't get it over his heart to leave her alone in the crowd. It felt rude to do and something inside of him was also curious as to why she had been staring at him all the while before her fall.

"I see..." he trailed off, not sure how to react upon that answer. He could stretch out and look over the crowd, but the trouble laid with his height that was still considered to be average for his age. Nothing fancily tall that could peek over the sea of heads and neither that agonizing small that all he saw was the backs of others. "I hope that you will find your friends soon, Van Reeden." August mumbled, this time just stuck on what was appropriate to say. He truly hoped that she was to find her company, as Hogsmeade was even more of a bore without them. However as much as the female might have been staring at him August didn't want to help her find her group, fearing that it would take him away from his original plan and force him to actually find himself under the people. To leave he was, but the sea of people entering Hogsmeade and going the opposite direction he was made that one hard task. Leaving him mostly stuck on the same spot as he had been stuck on for a while.

[ Hogwarts Grounds; En Route to Hogsmeade - Hogsmeade; The Three Broomsticks Inn ]

The girl nodded slightly and as they walked on the two spent a few beats in silence until the girl mumbled a thanks left her lips. He looked almost surprised, the boy then grinned at her and shrugged slightly as if it was a typical procedure.... --which it was, but only for himself. He looked toward the ground smiling to himself, being useful felt pretty damn good, it was nice to get a reminder of why he was so keen on getting into the medical industry, even with his problem it was the reward that helped make it so worthwhile. He was spaced out for awhile and began to realize he was falling behind, the moment his attention returned he sped up slightly, just enough so that he would be close enough to continue to chat with Melinda. He smiled slightly, so much for the pleasant walk to Hogsmeade, now it was simply a race in which fast-paced walking was the set speed.
"So why did you follow me?"
The girl inquired as she leaned forward, Seth swung around and began walking backwards
"Don't use the word 'follow', it makes me sound stalker-ish" He said with a small shake of his head and a lopsided toothless smile
"As for why.... well I find you to be good company, more interesting than most, and your honesty in all matters is humbling and refreshing. A nice change of pace"
On the final word he swung back around due to the fact that they were entering Hogsmeade and it was just stupid to go about walking backwards through a crowd of any sort, especially not one as busy at this.
"So mind if we warm up first?"
She asked, he shrugged hiding just how good that sounded, he would love the chance to thaw and eat something. A mug of Butterbeer would warm them both to the core, the mere thought made him shutter pleasantly
"Sounds good. Please, Follow me"
He responded, he eyes locked on the three broomsticks sign that hung above the door, he lightly grabbed her wrist, just enough to guide her in the direction of where they were going rather then setting off toward the Inn without letting her know, once the two reached the door Seth held the door for her, not in an attempt to be gentlemanly or chivalrous, but because he was simply accustomed to doing so. After all, he had no reason to try to impress her, she already knew he was all show and there was no point in trying to hide it, she was the one person who could see straight through his facade and not laugh at him for it, that or hate.

[ Slytherin Dungeon; Boys Dormitory -- Jayden & Peters Room ]

Kiyoko sat back onto the fabric of someone's bed and gave the boy some space after checking to make sure Jay was alright, she figured it was the best thing she could do seeing as there was no obvious physical damage and even if there had been his vampiric abilities would have healed him up just as quickly as any of her magic. It was concern that played off her features, having your back slammed against anything was unpleasant, let alone a stone wall and let alone by Zoey freaking Black, she didn't envy him in the slightest.
"So snake 1, 2 and 3. How exactly do you three plan on getting me out of here? I can't imagine ever forgiving any of you for getting me in trouble and forcing me to miss my trip to Hogsmeade."
Kiyoko heart sunk in her chest, dropping down past her stomach. Ouch. The girl wanted to shoot her the dirtiest of glares, as well as look away or down out of shame and hurt feeling, she felt the urge to glance over at Jayden for comfort but knew that it would get her no where. He would look back at her angrily and then at her expression the rage and annoyance that radiated off of him now would probably fade into awkwardness. He was the worst at that kind of thing, talking and feelings and all the like. Instead of doing anything to show the hint of emotional vulnerability that had seized her at Zoeys indifference to her as anything but a snake she just kept her chin high, her gaze steely and cold and stared onward as if she hadn't heard anything in the first place.

Kiyoko noticed movement out of the corner of her eye, Peter turned to face the two, but he words didn't seem to be directed at her.
"Do you know any way we can get Zoey out of here unseen?"
"Berlioz you really should go to the infirmary. I'd hate to see that get infected or go uncured. That is my hand work after all."
"Reminds you of the good old days, eh Black?"
Kiyoko inquired without looking at her, she sneered the words without a glance as she recalled their old sparring matches, their very first ones. The ones that Zoey hadn't held back on. Peter ignored her commentary, prioritizing his own romantic dilemma, perhaps his goal was to keep Zoey calm even as Kiyoko was trying to put a hole in her heart the size of the gap that Kiyoko ported, however that would never happen, Zoey was far more well guarded against attacks from friends, protecting herself from all forces inside and out, meanwhile Kiyoko was the type to guard again intruders before eventually letting them in, traitors went unchecked, they had her at her weakest when they were close to her heart.
"Don't worry, I'll have it checked out as soon as I can. But after I do that" There was a nervous tone in his voice, and Kiyoko could predict what was happening next "I want you to accompany me on a date to Hogsmeade."
"Please kill me"

She murmured with a roll of her eyes in a low voice that anyone normal who wasn't within a inch of her could hear, Orochi muttered something similar and Kiyoko found herself smiling. Why was Zoey doing this to her, treating her as as fiend rather than a friend when all she had ever done was be there for her. That was the trouble about being her, she was always willing to listen to anything she had to say, willing to hear anything from anyone and not tell a soul, but when it came back to it she had to shoulder her own problems alone. She always had to, no one cared enough to listen and if they did they never knew what to say.
"Yes, I do know a way,"
Jay announced loudly, Kiyoko let her gaze, which had drifted from the wall to her silver companion, dart over to him at his standing figure as he marched over to Zoey, gripping her by the shoulders and steering her toward--not the exit--but a shadow. Kiyoko knew where this was going, oh my, what a reaction to expect from an arachnophob in what felt like countless spider webs caressing one's skin
"And yes, yes, she is going with you to Hogsmeade, Berlioz. Now, you have a date, I will show her out now so she can go and pretty up, and everyone will be happy; me especially. Thank you and good bye, it was so nice having you over, Black."

Kiyoko smiled slightly, Jay always was fun to listen to, even in her rotten mood his words made her grin, even if it was barely.
"I second that notion, but twice the sarcasm"
She said audibly as Jay set her in front of a shadow, Kiyoko leaned back and observed, the opening of the void had intrigued her since he'd first showed off his party trick, the way the solid behind the darkness melted away was always something that left her with a longing in lean and an touch the darkness, to breath the inky blackness that seemed thick with itself once again. Her dark silk-like hair flowed over her shoulders and wavered in the soft vacuum of the voice, as if a cold breeze had just swept by
"...And here is your ticket out," Kiyoko detected a hint of boastfulness in his voice "You'll need me for it though; you can't walk in there alone since technically... there is no ground."
Jay smirked in a way that made an imp look innocent, he lightly pushed the pibnkette toward the pitch black.
"You kids have fun, I'll walk Berlioz to the Medical Wing... and Jay, please try not to drop her in there, tempting as it may be."

[Slytheryn Common Room]

The book was pretty much "nothing special". Glesni chuckled and shook her head, wondering was that REALLY everything that students of Hogwarts had to know? It was funny. All of it. Too simple, boring, easy to do...call it whatever you feel like. Indeed, her aunt and her mother seemed really excited for her, and to be honest, she thought it was neat as well. But so far, nothing was much of a challenge. Or maybe it was just her? Though it was only a full week and couple of days. Yet she already started to wonder was it a good idea to exchange a potential chance of mastering Dark Arts, for a better surroundings and control? Even thought it was something nobody discussed out loud, Hogwarts was nothing similar to Durmstrang Institute when it comes to Dark Arts. But she could understand that. They had some pretty disturbing things going on some years ago. At the time mother told her that, Glesni was convinced it was only a desperate try to keep her away from it. What she didn't know was that at that point, there in their luxury living room, she awoken the girl's curiosity towards something that seemed like a potentially interesting new experience. Indeed, it was too good to be ignored. But one thing that no one, and not even her dear aunt, figured was why would she ever turn to something like that?
It was quite simple. So simple that all of them would laugh their butts off if they only knew. She wanted to know more. She wanted her parent to be proud. She wanted her mother not to feel bad about her "non-magical" daughter and to just leave her alone by focusing on Glesni.

So far, the train of thoughts became too long for Glesni to follow. She decided to round it up with the same conclusion she had the first time; no matter how much and for how long nobody accepts the way she does things, she will be persistent. Why wouldn't she? She wasn't hurting anybody...hopefully. She simply never cared. She thought about how it might be even easier now, after she stood up for herself even against the professor back in the Institute. She smirked remembering that male fairy, or whatever he was, that decided to give her a bit of a hard time for what she was doing. She never mind it. If she did, she would either do something radical about it, or got beaten up by all those teenage, maniacal fan girls he had. It was funny to watch. Even funnier that he never cared. Exactly, "never cared". That is why Glesni thought he could understand what Ravena was telling him that day he decided to stop talking to her as well. Inconvenient? Yes. Necessary? Maybe. Crucial? Not really. They are where they are now and that is what mattered. Present time, and no hard feelings.

Taking another Frozen Flake sweet and putting it into her mouth, Glesni closed the book and put it away, taking her polished black wand. It was the first time she took it to do something that was not related to her studies, from the days she came here. As soon as she took it, it started vibrating gently. It reacted that way every time somewhat darker magic was used close enough. Something was going on in Slytheryn's dorms, and she thought that it might have something to do with the voices she heard before. She shrugged indifferently. Those were Slytherins. Nothing that would be expected from them was awkward enough for her to pay any closer attention. "Flagrate." She mumbled to herself, lightly jerking her wand. Sparky flame appeared on the top of her wand and danced happily. Taking it into her right arm, Glesni used her left one to support her head. After thinking a bit, she started drawing fiery rose in the mid-air, her mind now completely focused on that cello she saw and played before.

Somewhere in Hogsmeade

That morning, Milo had eaten his crackers and hot milk with a story in the works. His mind was still scribbling the words he will have to say later while he zipped up his pants and felt the pockets of his green coat. "A letter..." he had mumbled. "Yes, a letter. Aha!" On cue, he had found the parchment flooded with his mother's messy handwriting which he had received yesterday. Perfect! A boyish grin brightened his expression while he rushed towards Hogsmeade.

Once he was at Hogsmeade, he slowed to a stop, absolutely lost. He had forgotten one key ingredient to his story: heroes. Now, where can I find some? He turned around him and found the road scant with people, much less Hogwarts students. Only the snow was limitless where he was. Uncomfortably, he shifted in his horribly heavy coat.

Milo had woken up too early today and left just as early. In his eagerness for adventure, he had forgotten to invite Alyss. Now what? The quest he was planning would be no fun if he played by himself.

But it seemed the heavens were kind to Milo today for while he walked onwards, discouraged, he found a lone witch who was levitating her crystal ball. Is she talking to herself? he noted from nearby. Well, just who I needed, then.

And so, with his furry hood up, head low, gloved hands in pockets, Milo walked nonchalantly towards the girl. He smiled, despite himself. I must look-- how do the muggles say it?-- badass? "Would you like to know a secret?" he spoke to her in what he coined as his "mysterious" voice.

[Library]

Her cat...he thought. He knew by her speech patterns and eye movement she was obviously lying , but he was not going to press her if she was not going to tell the truth he was just going to play along. "A hex that maxes your....cat begin to throw things in every which direction based on emotional stress?" he looked confused, and intrigued he hadn't known anything to do that to an animal or person but then again we are talking about wizards and witches whom have done many crazy experiments...example making ones boogers attack their enemies. But he would do his best to help this girls...cat.

He looked up and down the book racks hoping to find a book that might help but he knew for some odd reason that the book he was going to have to look for he would have to do one of two things...test his friendship he had developed with the librarian, which in itself was hard to come by or later at night break into the restricted section. He didn't like the prospect of doing something so against the rules. He now looked at her and nodded then shrugged his shoulders. "The only books that can help us are no in this part of the library...hexs that increase power would be far to tempting for an experienced wizard or witch to dabble in and probably hurt themselves or others. So we either try and help your...cat by trying to to stress it or venture into....the restricted section sometime at night..." he looked over his shoulder and around then back to her. "You know this could get us into allot of trouble..slytherin girl...." he knew all but her name he didn't want to call her slytherin girl but he desired to name her considering the risk he was about to take on...he didn't know why he helped random strangers but it made him feel good when they were finally helped.

[Library]

"A hex that makes your....cat begin to throw things in every which direction based on emotional stress?"
Anice held her breathe. The way he said it made it seem ridiculous, but she couldn't take it back now. "Th-that's right." she said, straightening her back and trying to fake confidence in her voice, though she still sounded a tad unsure. He looked rather confused at her, and she couldn't blame him. Some random chick you've never met before all of a sudden out of nowhere wants you to fix all her problems? She started to doubt all the faith she had, "Honestly, what kind of a person helps someone who yelled at them for hardly any reason? Not to mention I must sound crazy. I mean, really? My cat has emotional problems? what was I thinking? Gawd, that's who I am now to this guy. Some random antisocial chick who has anger problems and an emotionally distressed cat..."

She was ready to abort mission when Reed spoke up,
"The only books that can help us are not in this part of the library...hexes that increase power would be far to tempting for an experienced wizard or witch to dabble in and probably hurt themselves or others. So we either try and help your...cat by trying to to stress it or venture into....the restricted section sometime at night..." She was astonished. He believed her? And even if he didn't, he was still willing to help her?? She blinked, taking it all in. It was impossible that this guy was actually this nice. No one was this nice. He must be pulling one over on her. Still, this was all that she had to go on right now. She thought back on his words. He wanted to go to the restricted section. She figured that her answer may be in there. However, she was rather a coward when it came to breaking the rules. She tried to sneak in the restricted section once in her 4th year, and was scared back into the Slytherin dorm when she heard a rat scurry across the hallway. Not only that, but if anyone found out that she and this Reed guy had snuck out together after hours, rumors would surround the both of them for the rest of their time in Hogwarts.

However, the thought of her curse being lifted was worth rumors and maybe months worth of detention. And if she had someone with her, she knew she would probably go through with the entire plan. She kept her eyes on his face as he looked around nervously,
"You know this could get us into a lot of trouble..slytherin girl...." She was thrown back for a second. Slytherin girl? It occurred to her she never told him her name. She actually hadn't wanted to tell him her name, as it would be an indication of friendship. She figured she'd have to tell him something though, if they were going to sneak out together. "They call me Marina Beloffe." She lied. She still couldn't risk friendship with him. This was a simple mission that would be carried out be 2 unrelated people to achieve a single goal. That was it. Still, it sounded so rogue and promiscuous. "Well, I don't see any other way...we'll just have to be very careful about it."
She admitted, it was rather exciting to have a secret to share with someone else. But she had way too many secrets anyway. "So how are we going to go about it?"

[ Slytherin Dungeon || Peter and Jayden's Room ]
"Do you know any way we can get Zoey out of here unseen?" Zoey crossed her arms as she turned her gaze on Jayden as well, one eyebrow raised. Good question on Peter's part, not that she wasn't just standing asking that same question. Albeit not in as many words. Flipping her hair over her shoulder she folded her hands at her waist and was about vocalize the fact that she was sick of standing around while time wasted away. Then Kiyoko spoke up,"Reminds you of the good old days, eh Black?" Zoey smirked and looked at Kiyoko with a rueful glint in her eyes, a cocky grin on her her face. "The good ole days? But less we forget the other person would have more then one infliction eh Oshiro?" Zoey never held back, she learned her lesson the first time Kiyoko tossed Zoey on her back. Never again.

"Don't worry, I'll have it checked out as soon as I can. But after I do that... I want you to accompany me on a date to Hogsmeade." Zoey was still grinning evily at Kiyoko when Peter popped the question. Is it even considered a date. He did say "accompany". Zoey began to make a ton of excuses and insults to throw at Peter, but his fingers working on her buttons made thinking hard to do. "Uhm... well... you see... uhm..." Zoey felt the heat of her blush creeping along her neck and into her cheeks. If Jayden and Kiyoko hadn't come in when they did. If they had waited, there is no telling what would have happened. "Please kill me" Zoey's head spun as she turned an icy glare on Kiyoko. Its one story if Zoey says something sarcastic to Peter's adorableness, but Kiyoko had no right.

"Yes, I do know a way," Zoey had no time to even sigh in annoyance as Jayden grabbed her by the shoulders, steering her away from both Kiyoko and Peter. Zoey struggled the entire way, but her half hearted attempts at getting free wasn't a match for his preternatural strength. "And yes, yes, she is going with you to Hogsmeade, Berlioz. Now, you have a date, I will show her out now so she can go and pretty up, and everyone will be happy; me especially. Thank you and good bye, it was so nice having you over, Black." Zoey rolled her eyes and mocked him under her breath.

"I second that notion, but twice the sarcasm" Kiyoko, once again, opened her mouth with more venom then sugar. That definitely wasn't like her. And especially as it was directed to Zoey. This time with more force she tore herself away and turned the full force of her infamous Zoey glare onto Kiyoko, the one who had suddenly become the Leech's henchman and whiny central. "Well now Kiyoko, you are a full on thrall aren't you. What they call a fangbanger right?" Zoey wasn't holding back on the venom now either. How dare she act like that toward Zoey, especially since the Black had done nothing directly to Kiyoko. All of a sudden she was getting all hot and bothered over some piece of monstrosity trash, and that gave her the right and reason to treat her best friend like shit? "Stop being such a bitch because my boyfriend asked me out on a real date before yours." Narrowing her eyes she pushed the dagger further in. "And he isn't even really my boyfriend, isn't that bloody interesting."

"...And here is your ticket out," Zoey spun on her heels to face whatever Jayden was talking about, only to face a void of nothingness. "What in the..." It was literally like a tear in reality, in all honesty it was perfectly fascinating. Zoey never pursued intellectual type hobbies, but man. This thing gave her the urget to study, and to that Zoey felt uncomfortable. "You'll need me for it though; you can't walk in there alone since technically... there is no ground." Zoey glanced at Jayden through narrow eyes, was he... challenging her? He gave her a little unneeded push, Zoey wasn't against the idea, But sue her for being wary.

"You kids have fun, I'll walk Berlioz to the Medical Wing... and Jay, please try not to drop her in there, tempting as it may be." Zoey completely ignored Kiyoko and looked over her shoulder at Peter, with a half smile. "Oh and Berlioz, I would love to accompany you to Hogsmede. First round of Butterbeer's on you though." She winked and then faced Jayden with a hard look, hands on her hips. "When we go through there, no funny business or I swear I will break your femur and relish in your crybaby, sissyboy screams. Got it V-Jay-Jay?" The new nickname was probably earning her no favors, but she needed to relieve some stress after Kiyoko's gripes. Whatever with her, suddenly she gets a new bright and shiny toy and she ditches the one who drew and cleaned up blood sweat and tears? Well then again there was a lot of that going around lately.

`
HOGSMEADE VILLAGE '

The spells crowded her head in a heartbeat, jumbled altogether, causing Cecilee to close it, irritated. She slipped it into her pockets, miraculously fitting, and pulling her sweater down to hide it from view. Now that she's free from stress (sort of), she focused on playing with the crystal ball, shakily levitating it around her and sometimes overhead a few students. Not that many of them minded, not all of them saw glass above their heads. Quite risky, if you ask. She could get startled any moment and let it drop. Points to be decreased then, sadly, one thing she wouldn't want. Cecilee wasn't expecting anything exciting for the day as she had a pile of homework to look forward to. The thought of it made her scratch her already messy hair, tangling it more.

"Would you like to know a secret?"

A male's voice snapped her out of concentration. Cecilee hadn't seen the blond boy approach her. She froze the crystal ball in midair, her arm not daring to move another inch. She hasn't seen his face around Ravenclaw tower, so he has to be from elsewhere. Also, she's taller by an inch, he must be from the lower years, unless... Then she remembered what he had asked in an odd voice that pretty much added fuel to the infuriated mood. At the question, her eyebrows shot up in suspicion.

"I already know enough, thank you very much," she grumbled sharply, not that interested. Whatever secret he might propose shall never beat her real secret. One she isn't keen on sharing with anyone other than the Headmistress. "Who might you be, though?" she asked as an afterthought.

Cecilee, dreading to drop the ball of glass without watching, decided it would be best to get it out of the air. She pulled it back with a wave of a wand, catching it as it passed in front of her. The Ravenclaw eyed the boy closely, in case he tries to do something foolish. Her instincts reminded her of Peeves. Had he heard of the chant then? Probably not. Hopefully not. Goodness, if she found out that Peeves has been singing along the halls about her awful state (along with the nickname he had called her ), she was surely going to break something that day.

Somewhere in Hogsmeade

"Ah!" Milo scrambled to put his hood back over his head, but he was too late. The witch had probably gotten a good look on his face already. Darn. "No fair!" he pouted, absent-mindedly out of the character he was playing.

Now that he was up close to her, he half lost the gusto he had felt only seconds ago. She was one of the suspicious ones, he now saw, and currently a pissed one at that! He could barely look straight into her steely gaze. Perhaps the heavens is being ruthless as usual, after all?

But no matter, Milo reassured himself. An adventure awaited him today, and he was going to see it through this time. He blinked away the disappointed memories of the last Hogsmeade weekend while a hopeful thought crept up at him. From the sound of things, she had not recognize him. Yes! he cheered himself on. She does not know me! And hopefully not my reputation either! The thought rekindled his determination. But just to be careful...

He immediately regained his composture and cleared his throat. "My name is Giacomo, Miss. A close friend of the Sprite King. And I was hoping you could help me with a secret. Yesterday, the Sprite King sent me a letter asking for my help, see?" He quickly took out his mother's letter from his inside pocket and dangled it too close in front of her so she couldn't see a word of it. And just as fast, he put the parchment back in his coat. "His spies tell him that one of his daughter is trapped in a jar behind the counter of Zonko's Joke Shop. I'm about to rescue her but I also need someone to keep Zonko preoccupied." He pleaded with her with a practiced expression: a brave seriousness with a touch of sorrow. "Please," he continued. "Will you help me?"
