"O-oh my."
Anastacia stumbled the words out of her mouth as Otto blindfolded her. It was probably for the best, being that trust was a major factor here. Being neutral was probably the least trustworthy position to any side. But Anastacia had been through enough wars to know that she really didn't like picking sides. Being led through the building, Anastacia had a somewhat clear visual despite the blindfold, her hearing was acute and every footstep gave her an idea of where she was. There were new additions, but she didn't know what they were for or the exact location. One thing she did hear was Saharah's comment about having La Sangre heads. It didn't bother Anastacia too much, the girl had lost a lot so a bit of aggression was going to happen. While this was something note worthy, it didn't exactly matter, she wasn't a spy, she was a surgeon.
Anastacia didn't mind having Otto watch her, she rather liked an audience, she'd taught at a few Universities in her time and the occasional makeshift presentation was something she had gotten used to. It wasn't a performance though, it was a procedure. There was nothing really elegant about pulling fractured knife shards out of a man's arm. That was something rather interesting about Allison's knives, they were a wild card... All of them. Some of these happened to fracture as they entered Knox's flesh. However, Knox pulling them out was the best thing he could've done as there was very little shards in him. After she pulled the last shard out with her vices, Anastacia sighed.
"Hardy little thing aren't you?" she was talking to a sleeping patient, but regardless she still spoke, it kept her a little entertained. She sewed his major gashes back up and laid some Gauze on the smaller wounds, drenching the gauze in disinfectant.
When she was done Anastacia ran the back of her hand across her forehead. Knox ended up waking up on his own, a minute or so after Anastacia had finished up. His remark made her smile a bit.
"Hm, cutie, haven't gotten that one in a while. Regardless, besides a few minor gashes and wounds and one or two cracked ribs, you seem alright. You'll be just fine in a week or so. As long as you don't try anything too crazy you should be in decent enough shape by as soon as tomorrow evening. However, that doesn't mean you can pull any stunts or run any long distances; you might tear your stitches or end up completely breaking your fractured ribs. So no more diving off rooftops." She teased Knox a bit then gave her tools a quick cleaning in a nearby sink and put them back into her briefcase.
"In regards to how he is Otto, keep him off his post for tonight and potentially tomorrow. You shouldn't have to keep too close of an eye on him, but just make sure he keeps weight off his ribcage and doesn't attempt any sort of stretching with his arms for a week or so. Sebastian can remove the stitches in about a week, I'll write up a record of the operation and I'd like for you to give it to him; it'll make check-ups and such a bit easier." Anastacia smiled as she looked Knox over. He had a lot of fight in him, it'd take a severed limb to slow him down... Maybe. Anastacia suddenly jumped slightly as she remembered the scope. She clicked open the briefcase again and fished out the scope.
"Unfortunately I don't have any candy or tooth brushes, so this will have to do. Keine harten Gefühle." She gently placed the scope in Knox's hand and gave a gentle smile. She clicked open her pocket watch, roughly an hour of operation.
"I have time for a few more operations before I ought to return. If there's no one else I can stay for whatever you may need me for, or you can lead me out and I can be on my way." She explained as she closed up her briefcase and brushed her trench coat off with her hands, returning them to a neutral position of one holding the back of the other in front of her. Her form resembling that of a soldier at attention, not because she was waiting for orders, but because that was a position she found comfortable.
