Kamui smiles despite the pain of both the arrow shots he took and decides he should go on the defensive "Mana shield." He says quickly activating the spell and enveloping himself in it's pale blue splendor. He shrugs and looks apologetic to Blade "If I ahd more health I'd give it to you but I'm almost dead bud, but I know you, you got this guy." He gives the thumbs up to his teammate and ponders what to do next, drinking a potion would be the smarter option that way he could use one of the green ones that heal him and regain his mana. Or he could do like Blade did against the orc and just say screw it and blast away until he's blue in the face.

Being stronger means nothing… the more power you have, the easier it is to break what you should be preserving… Tian Gui's aqua eyes were set firmly as he spoke. And in Xenon's head, he quietly, resolutely disagreed. Control is necessary if you want to protect the masses, but if you're pledging to protect just a few… then it's not as big of a priority, is it? It was a fundamental rift in philosophy - one where the red haired teen felt his age old pretenses filling in the differences between them.

After an interlude of grinding, Xenon decided to take some personal time browsing on the auction site. Books seemed to be popular among the Gamers as of late, granting new and very real magic. As the resident performer, he almost felt a little left out. That Mana theory book that Alexander bought earlier seems like it'd be useful, but… Xenon wanted more than just mana. Then, his eyes landed on an interesting entry.

A book on Magic Mentalism.

The term was very familiar to him - in stage magic, mentalism was comprised of mind readers, clairvoyants, and telekinetics. It was a neighboring field to his usual sleight of hand maneuvers. Magic Mentalism in this sense, however, appeared to utilize Mana theory to oscillate Mana with the mind. The familiarity of lexicon and foreign quality of principle intrigued Xenon's curiosity moreso than anything else.

One hefty purchase and a UFO later, Xenon had some new literature to delve into. But first, he opened up his windows, distributed some points, and came across an option when he tapped on his maxed focus skill:

Choose Method of Advancement
[Single]
[Supplemental: Study on Mana theory]

Ripe with curiosity, Xenon impulsively tapped on the Supplemental option and received a number of other windows. The most notable of them was a description of a new talent:

Mental Oscillation Theory (Rank 8, 8 AP) (Level 1, 0/13)
+1 WIS, +16 MP. Acquire the Mental Oscillation Score 1/3 (WIS) + 1/4 (INT).
When Mana Oscillates it is capable of being commanded by Mages to create Magic Phenomenon. By focusing firmly enough and applying your newfound knowledge of Mana Theory to your thought process as you Oscillate your Mana, you can make very basic affects with Mana using this 'Pseudo Magic' and Novice Mentalism Ability.
Strengthen all regular Beginner Mana Skills by 10%.

Before more experimentation could occur, however, a new round of company appeared at the base of hilltop. Members of yet another unfamiliar team, decked out in fashion, and rather high leveled to boot. Like the previous times, Xenon left himself a slight bit apart from the conversation, opting to stay at where he was sitting with the auction laptop poised on his lap. He tried to look like he was browsing away on the device, but was actually trying to listen in on the conversation attentively. Everything seemed pretty congenial - questions were asked, answers were exchanged. There wasn't even tension, per se, just a natural wariness between both parties. Though, there was definitely a pregnant silence that came with Tian Gui and Shouko's questioning about death in the games. Are they hiding something? Or do they genuinely not know the answer?

But before more could be exchanged, an odd window appeared. A… new purchase option has appeared. Alert the purchase chest? Xenon tried to decipher the spiel. Is there something wrong with the gamer power or something? Who is this message even from? He briefly looked around at the other gamers, confusion evident in his expression. The message obviously said something about checking the purchase chest, but it's warped nature literally screamed suspicion. Team huddling also wasn't really an option with the peacock members waiting at the foot of the base, though. Xenon mulled a bit.

He walked carefully to the purchase chest, circling it until he stood right behind it. If something's coming out, I'm not going to stand in front of it. The red haired teen apprehensively rested his hands on the lid and pried it open... only for nothing to happen. Xenon let out the breath he'd been holding, then crossed over to the front.

The menu had automatically switched over to the miscellaneous tab, where everything seemed more or less normal, except that the "Small favor from Arcadia" had become a string of corrupted text that read: Vkfle13..Onkggn+ID (15 coins). It looks like it's been garbled, kinda like the message... In fact, the entire window seemed somewhat glitched, implying that something was obviously wrong. Xenon decided to kill two birds with one stone and notify the other gamers with a message while testing the messaging system. He typed: Hey guys, you might want to take a look at the purchase chest. It's looking glitched.

Fortunately for Arcaeus, rather than choose to attack the Dabbler chose to shield himself. This is turning into a losing battle for Arcaeus, and if he can't start landing some decisive hits then there isn't much he can do. He decides to go all out though, spinning towards Blade as his spear glows and he shouts "Power Thrust!" as he thrusts the mighty spear right in his direction with this fierce, powerful attack.

Unfortunately Colt was a bit too skilled for that powerhouse attack, and would be able to parry away, and now the two could work on a quick counterattack to hopefully put this fight in the bud, since Arcaeus looks rather tired as he breaths heavily. After all, he has used alot of Skills and has been hit a few times, so it shouldn't be too long now.

Colt grinned happily with a toothy smile as watched the spear user twist about to face him and try to strike at him with a powerful attack. The grin only growing as Colt managed to parry the powerful blow, knocking the spear to one side with the use of his shield. The red headed fighter took this opportunity to step in with his own powerful attack as he yelled it out. "Power Strike!" As his sword glowed green much like the spear has in recent moments as it comes screaming towards the flanked opponent before him, throwing his weight into this one.

This moment reminded Colt of times during kendo spars when an upper classmate would make an error and he would jump on it immediately and gain an advantage. Back to the matter at hand however Colt hoped that Kamui would help team up on this flanking opportunity now that he had some defenses up and the enemy players aggro was focused on Colt.

Unfortunately the Spearman wasn't prepared for this. Colt really did do just as he practiced in his Kendo Classes. Take advantage of the moment the opponent makes a blunder, and made a blunder Arcaeus did. Power Thrust took away from the Accuracy of his Attack, while adding on alot of power. As such, his attack wasn't nearly as well on as it should have been. As such, it left him wide open for Colt's own Power Strike.

There is nothing he can do but close his eyes as the sword comes right for him. Blood coats the blade as it slashes through armor and cuts deep into his chest, eyes widening as he lets out a horrible, blood filled cough and stumbles backwards. He is definitely, heavily wounded now. Given the fact that he has used several powerful Skills and took that Magic Arrow from the Flag Pole straight to the chest, there is no way he can stay standing.

It looks like he does for a moment, about to go for one last ditch thrust, but his body gives out. His eyes go blank right as he takes that first step and he falls forward, his blood spilling the ground in the Team Wolf's domain as his eyes close. His body disappears now, leaving behind a slightly damaged suit of Feather-Mail, his Steel Spear, another Life Pendant, a Minor Force Ring, Dash Boots, a Small Round Steel Shield, 14 Gold Coins, and 6 EXP.

Where the Archer's body once stood also laid some gear. His Oaken Longbow, Medium Quiver of 30 Steel Arrows, two Mana Potions, 10 Gold Coins, Life Pendant, Minor Ring of Accuracy, and Minor Ring of Protection are also all left behind. In addition to the 6 EXP the two Wolves were granted for defeating this Bloodhound.

Furthermore, Skill levels had been gained and there were even a few Skills that were ready to be advanced and with these two having left their wallets behind before dying, they now had a bit more money in which to do that with. Plus they could always see if Arcadia would be willing to buy back the excess of Items that they didn't need, like the extra Life Pendants, the Spear, and the Bow and Arrows. Everything else seemed useful like the Rings, Boots, Shield, Potions, and Coins. Overall, all stuff that the two could use.

For now though the last two members Team Wolf had triumphed, and had progressed because of it.

The victorious fighter swipes his nose with a single followed by a smile. "Alright!!! We're getting better at this. Time to retrieve the spoils, take what'll be good for us and sell the rest for stuff that we want. Classic right? Colt jests with a smile as he goes and accumulates all of the loot from the defeated players and pilled everything up within the camp for them both to split. Colt of course for starters replaced his basically completely broken feather mail armor with the slightly damaged set from the spear user as it was better than nothing. He also claimed the Dash Boots and Minor Force Ring for even more obvious reasons as he focused on melee damage and getting in close.

He'd suggest that Kamui should receive the two Mana Potions and Minor Ring of Protection because a magic user needs all of the protection they can get without armor. As well as the Minor Ring of Accuracy as a means of further balancing out the equipment exchange as well as making sure Kamui's spells would hit and his Mana wouldn't be wasted as much as his chance to hit would increase.

The additional 24 gold coins felt nice but Colt wondered how much more gold they would get if they sold a lot of the stuff they weren't going to use. "Hey, before we go buying anything I'd say we should sell the rest of the stuff to see what amount of gold we'll be able to spend around with." "Oh, I know we've talked about me using a bow for ranged but I've got a different idea. Besides, remember how you trust me in melee? Well, I trust you to take care of the ranged baddies that I can't reach." Colt patting Kamui on the shoulder with a smile as he finishes. "The shield didn't feel right so I'm gonna pick up a second sword instead. The best defense is a good offense after all eh?" So at the moment unless Kamui has other suggestions, the things that are being planned to be sold are as follows before moving on to any purchases or upgrading. The Oaken Longbow, Medium Quiver of 30 steel arrows, 2 Life Pendants, Steel Spear, 2 Small Round Steel Shields.

They were silent when it came to the most important question. Why? Because it was taboo to speak about it? Because it was their coping mechanism when it came to taking lives? Or…

Even a direct question from Shouko brought no further explanation to this, and Tian-Gui decided that it wasn't something worth pursuing any longer. For the time being, at least, he will like this issue go. Ultimately, Team Peacock sought the same sort of 'alliance' that Team Sparrow did: that neither of them interfere with each other until the final round of the Arcadia Games. But why win, when the only benefit to 'winning' was to get better when it came to the next Game? What was the point of continually improving in this fake world?

A message popped up in the corner, Xenon making it clear that he wanted to talk about the strange 'glitch' that had just appeared on their Purchase Chest. Tian-Gui scratched the back of his head, considered his options, before finally shrugging.

"Please give us more time to think about this, lady and gentlemen," he began, "For now, however, we can most definitely agree on a pact of non-aggression. Once this particular event is over, and Ama-Rei can stop hiding, Team Justice will come to a proper decision. Just get back here after it ends, yeah? Just not before."

With his piece said, Tian-Gui lowered his voice once more and turned back to the chest, where garbled text had replaced the 'small favor from Arcadia'. 15 Gold, was it? They at 27 now, but on the other hand, everyone had already purchased what they wanted. And honestly, he was a bit curious, so...

"Wanna buy this and find out? I think our one-time reduction will still work here."

Kamui nods, as the spearman went down, he didn't bother remembering his name, not like it was his real one anyway. He however was still in a bit of shellshock from the fact they killed two people, it was still kind of new to him that this was their norm from now on. He made sure to hide his indecision from his face as Bladesong came up and patted his shoulder, deactivating his mana shield Kamui gives his friend a warm smile "Yeah, it certainly has gotten easier huh? We're becoming a regular dynamic duo of devastation huh?" The jokester laughs light heartily and looks at the pile of stuff, then at the stuff he receives "Well yeah I mean I keep going into critical hp every fight cause I really should just turn my damn shield on at the start but nooooooo best defense is a good offense right haha?" He quips to his partner and elbows his side lightly. More protection would be good for him, taking less damage was always a plus, and the accuracy would definitely help him out in a pinch.

He nods looking over everything and equips his own new gear "Well guess we can sell the rest and then...I dunno you want to upgrade skills? Get some more monster bait for grinding, bit of both? I mean I'm down for getting stronger and keeping us safe from the others. However we are in need of some allies, because right now everyone wants a piece of the little guy." He points that out without needing to, and looks at their flag "And unfortunately the little guy happens to be us, funny huh? As a mascot we have a ferocious, cunning pack hunter, but with a pack we ended up almost failing...to the team that has prey rather than predator as it's mascot." The irony wasn't lost on the Dabbler.

"Anyway I've been thinking, once we level up some more I'm thinking maybe I should become some kind of mage fighter, or something along those lines...spellblade." He shrugs "Anyway we've got everything sorted so let's do this. Sell, sell, sell." He chuckled again and gave Colt another smile.

The loot that the two Wolves gathered only sold for twenty Gold Coins. With the 24 Gold that they had received from the two defeated Hounds, that put a total of forty-four gold into Team Wolve's coffers, plus an additional ten for defeating two players near their Domain, so that gives them a total of 54. That, and a broken Feather-Mail Shirt. That would probably useful later once they found out how to repair their armor. Perhaps a Favor from Arcadia would get the mage to work his magic on repairing their Armor. Either that, or upgrading their camp would give them some sort of work bench for doing just that.

It is hard to say without knowing more, but right now they had no other information about what upgrades are available for them beyond the basic chest since that was all their Team had before Team Peacock's attack.

With the forty-four gold, and all of their progress, the Skill Menu would yield some new options. Unfortunately there is no Steel Katana, but rather a very nice +2 Keen Iron Katana is available for 5 Gold if Wolf is interested in that. It seemed to have a sharper blade than a regular Katana and thus would not only deal more damage on a precise strike, but also be easier to get Critical Strikes with according to its description.

If Bladesong wants a Katana, this seems to be the only available option.

As for the Skill Menus...

Toughness (Cost: 25 Gold Coins)
This Skill helps to make you tougher so you can resist more Damage. The more pain you block, the stronger it becomes.

Double Slash (Cost: 20 Gold Coins)
A swift strike that lets you attack twice as a single attack. Do note that these swift strikes aren't the most accurate, but hitting with one of them raises the Damage of the second.

Counter (Cost: 18 Gold Coins)
You ready yourself for a hit, so that way you can counter it if you dodge it, or even if the hit doesn't Disrupt you.

Piercing Strike (Cost: 18 Gold Coins)
Tired of dealing with opponents who wear heavy armor? This attack uses your finesse and speed to get right through that thick armor, or even a person's tough skin.

Upgraded Running: Fighter Step (Cost 24 Gold Coins)
You're good at Running, so you know how to more properly and efficiently move around on the battlefield now.

Upgraded Running: Movement (Cost: 12 Gold Coins)
You're good at running, and are now just better at moving about in general.

Upgraded Power Strike: Fierce Slash (Cost: 14 Gold Coins)
A powerful striking Skill for users of slashing weapons. This allows you to use your blade to really slash and tear into a foe's body with a deep cutting attack.

Upgraded Power Strike: Great Strike (Cost: 12 Gold Coins)
A basic improved version of Power Strike compatible with any attack. You simply put more power into your attack before and just deliver a strong attack.

Improved Sword Use Upgrade: Beginner Sword Proficiency (Cost: 18 Gold Coins)
You have better techniques for wielding most forms of swords now than before.

Improved Sword Use Upgrade: Weapon Ambidexterity (Cost: 20 Gold Coins)
You know how to properly wield two Weapons, a smaller one and any other one-handed weapon in each hand, able to more properly utilize dual wielding techniques.

Health (Cost: 25 Gold Coins)
This Skill can help further enhance your HP the more Damage you take as your body grows tougher with every strike.

Mana Whirl (Cost: 18 Gold Coins)
You spin your Mana Rod and from it launch a far traveling, whirling 'blade' of Mana to attack a far away opponent.

Upgraded Focus: Mana Focus (Cost: 22 Gold Coins)
You upgrade your ability to focus, now allowing you to more properly focus your Mana.

Upgraded Focus: Focus Mind (Cost: 15 Gold Coins)
You turn your Focus more inward than outward, using your sheer willpower to focus your mental strength.

Upgraded Mana: Mana Pool (Cost: 18 Gold Coins)
You simply have a natural knack for handling Mana and thus have just more of it. This Skill will continue to bless you with more Mana to utilize while slightly reducing Costs.

Upgraded Mana: Mana Efficiency (Cost: 22 Gold Coins)
While you may not have as much Mana as other users of Mana, you know how to use it more effectively, focusing on using less Mana with your abilities rather than building up more Mana.

So they would have 54 Gold to spend on new Skills and the like. Plus they would also need to get a Bait, of which they had only one left that they could purchase. They would need to find another Camp in order to purchase more, or upgrade the Chest.

Suzaku seems to raise an eyebrow as Tian-Gui walks away and starts to confirm with Xenon over by the purchase chest. Well, Tian-Gui did say that Team JUSTICE needs to both wait for Rei to return and still needs some time to think. "Of course. Its hard to make a decision without the rest of your Team present. Very well, we will give you more time to think". Suzaku reaches into the pouch on his belt, pulling out a small bag with the number 20 upon it and blue stone.

"Of course, while we hope that this 'non-aggression' pact isn't just a polite way of saying no, we still will leave you with a little gift anyway, as thanks for giving us your time". The bag is, as most likely implied by the number 20 upon it inside of a gold coin on the bag, a bag filled with twenty of the gold coins. They would merely need to put that into the Purchase Chest or their Inventories to get the Gold within the bag.

"The stone, in case you all didn't know, is an Experience Stone. Made from crushing ten of the Spirit Shards the Spirits drop together. When used, your rate of EXP gain will be increased by 10% for one hour. If used in a Domain, it stacks with any existing affects". The man smiles and steps back now after handing the bag and the stone to Alexander.

"Get stronger, and we will be back after the Bounty Event is over for our answer. Let us hope by then, that you will agree to help us partake in a fight against the other teams, so that we all may secure our place top the pedestal as the two strongest Teams in this game". With a boy, holding his hat in his hand as he bows, Suzaku turns and departs. Momotaro too gives a more traditional bow and Miyuki gives a smile and a polite bow as well. Now the three begin to depart, but not before Suzaku stops and turns around once again.

"Before I forget. I would like to mention, about away from this camp are the last remaining members of Team Wolf. We'd go take care of them ourselves... but such a task should be easy for all of you instead. Who knows, maybe instead of defeating them you could make them part of your Team instead, since your Team does seem a bit on the small side".

That was a viable option after all. Instead of defeating players or making them withdraw, they could also recruit others to give the New Gamers a more formidable fighting force that didn't involve just sending Rei at their problems.

The New Gamers could also choose to leave Team Wolf alone, or could even go after them for free EXP and an attempt to "save" two more players from Arcadia's Game.

They had many options at the moment, and one of them involves a clearly glitched out Purchase Chest.

After a short discussion on what to do next the remaining wolves came to an overall agreement that Colt would begin to execute. He would head over to the camp's chest and upgrade it to the first level of 10+ and then by the last Minor Monster Bait that they could all with pooled funds. (5 gold -1) Then with his half of the funds the red headed fighter opened the menu to upgrade his Power Strike into Upgraded Power Strike: Fierce Slash for 14 gold (-1) leaving the final 19 for Kamui to do with what he wishes. Although after a second look at the upgraded chest the young fighter notices the new type of discount that was now in affect as he face palms himself. "Well...better that it is a thing now than never I guess." Colt being slightly bummed out that he couldn't purchase more skills and talents or equipment but that simply made him want to fight more so that they could get more gold with which to utilize and the new discount would help in the long run.

After some much needed rest of some odd number of minutes and after Kamui finishes up his purchase after walking away from the chest Colt uses the bait and readies himself for some grinding with some stretches as he turns to Kamui. "No time to waste right? We gotta get as OP as that Rei guy if we wanna be able to take everyone else on." As Colt punches a fist into his separate palm with an excited smile. "I can't wait."

Kamui stood next to the fighter "Hmm good choices like we discussed. I'm thinking about grabbing that new spell, mana whirl, might be an upgrade to my damage output compared to the missile." he says this as he already has decided on purchasing the spell anyway. He smiles and nods at Colt's enthusiasm "Well we keep at how we're going we should be there in no time. We're not gonna lose." He was a little worried about the other camp near them, how long would they keep turning a blind eye to the two last of team wolf until they decide to do what these two from bloodhound tried, either recruit or kill. Kamui, however, decided on something else. First thing s first, they needed to grind more. "I'll leave cracking the bait to you, but I think we should be ready now, got my new spell I'd like to try out, as well as just getting stronger is a given for us."

From what he could read into them, it seemed like it was legit. The three had relaxed to much, and their guards had been lowered. They truly just wanted to talk, and purpose a team-up.

As they started to talk to one another, Alex loosened up more and more himself even, I like this guy, likely the type that I would associate with in every day life.

As the question of dying was addressed twice to the peacocks, the first time it seemed like they ignored it without it even phasing them, the second time when Shouko asked, the same things happened but a strange glitch message appeared afterwards, followed by a message from Xenon. I suppose we are not supposed to press the subject matter on death.

Tian walked off, most likely in response to Xenon, "Rei sorta does like making most of the decisions for the team." Alex chuckled, in response to Suzaku.

Reaching out to accept the gift, Alex took it in hand, "Thank you." He nodded, "Regardless of the outcome, we will remember your generosity." As it was explained about what could happen if the shards are crushed together, Alex couldn't help but wonder if Rei knew of that as well, and if multiple uses stacked for efficiency or duration, or if the better version of the shards, which they had, could do a similar thing.

Before they left, they seemed to feel the need to tell them about a small group that was near. Why would they do that? It seemed rather strange to Alex. Is it a trap? But I didn't feel no hostility from these guys? Is it that they wanted one less group to compete with but didn't want to take them out? Could the peacocks be that good of people?

After their goodbyes, Alex brought the question to the others, before messaging Rei "Would it be worth it to search those two players out?" At the very least they could serve as a meat shield in a fight, he thought inwardly to himself "Or would it be best to simply stay put? I know what our fearless leader will likely say, and then go do something about it on their own, but we aren't exactly helpless, and we have a non aggression with two guilds with big names it seems." Alex pocketed the items he was handed for the time being, "So more grinding or should we try recruiting?"

More and more modes of discourse seemed to arise all at once with the peacocks' departure. "I think it could be lucrative to pay the two a visit and see what they're like," Xenon replied to Alexander. "We've got safety in numbers and the peacocks did say they were close. Though," he paused, "If we do plan to approach them, I say that we leave someone behind to guard the camp, just in case."

"As for the purchasing chest..." Xenon looked at the garbled text again. Unlike the message prior, where bits and pieces could be interpreted, the lexicon for the small favor bore no semblance of what it was supposed to mean. "I'm somewhat suspicious, but also somewhat curious about it. It could just the text being weird - then we'd simply meet Arcadia again," Xenon shrugged. "Either way, I personally don't think it could do any harm to try purchasing it."

Shouko felt a chill from the garbled response and the glitchy message that ensued. What was going on? It was similar to their restrictions against telling other people about the gamer system. Who, or what, governed the rules?

"Creepy... I have a bad feeling about this," she said when she saw the strange option in the Purchase Chest. Things were getting weirder and weirder. What happened to the simple life of farming monsters and earning money? Shouko took a few steps back. "I don't think we have much to gain from trying it. If Arcadia just shows up as normal, does anyone even have anything to ask him? We could just wait until we need to call on him again."

She nudged her glasses back into place and sighed. Think of the money you're making, Shouko.

"I can stay behind to guard the camp," she suggested when Xenon proposed to have one person guard the camp. "I can provide supporting fire from the safety of the camp. And I'll unleash my whole inventory of bombs on anyone who tries to step foot in here."

"Well, if you're confident," Tian-Gui said, "We'll entrust the camp to you then, Shouko. Just contact us if something pops up on the minimap, yeah?"

The glitched out 'small favour' ultimately wasn't pursued, and it looked like they were all finally going to go out of their Domain and do something. It would be nice to stretch his legs, after all, and though it was somewhat strange that they were all interested in hunting down Team Wolf when they were against such options before…

Tian-Gui shrugged. People were hypocritical and multi-faceted. No need to dwell on it.

"Shall we go then? We'll probably be able to spot them on the minimap, right?"

With that, he ran off, taking a random direction, still utilizing his Intensify Energy and Mana Burst routine. If Tian-Gui became receptive enough to this pattern of manipulating his bodily energies in a habitual fashion, perhaps he'd even be able to do it in his sleep eventually.

That was the dream at least.

While it wouldn't be much, the New Gamers minus Shouko would be able to get a small bit of grinding done on their way to the Team Wolf Camp. There didn't really seem to be anything along the way, not even any Monsters that showed up. There were a couple of Red Dots distant on the Mini Map which represented Monsters, but they were just a couple of wandering Gremlin Archers and not really worth pursuing, considering that upon seeing the New Gamers from a distance they ran off since there was only two of them.

Traveling in a group did have its benefits after all. Since two on one would be tough for any of the Gamers.

Regardless, eventually they would see two white dots on the mini map once they got within one-hundred yards of the Camp that was in the wide open. In the distance the two could be seen, tags above their heads visible once the New Gamers got a small bit closer.

Team Wolf Fighter
xxBladeSongxx Lv 13

Team Wolf Dabbler
Kamui Lv 13

And as Suzaku mentioned, there are only two of them. Their Guardian is also still an Axman. Not that an Axman would be an opponent that the New Gamers should challenge, but it meant that these two probably haven't gotten all that far in upgrading their Camp. Regardless... these two are around the same level as the New Gamers, and who knows what a Dabbler is capable of, or even what these 'Arcadians' are capable of.

Regardless, there is only one way to find out.

Recruit, Fight, or Leave.

What will the New Gamers do?

"Maybe we should put a leash on our dog. Oops was that my outside voice?" Alex chuckles mischievously, As he smiles at his two other comrades. With his map open, he started to run off as well in the direction that they had been given that the camp should be in.

After a while, they managed to make it to the camp of the two remaining from team Wolf. Luckily along the way, they managed to not run into any trouble or have any run ins with other players who could be lurking. "Well, on an optimistic note, it wasn't a trap."

Upon seeing the camp, Alex called out. "Ooiiii~!" Making a judgement call on distance, he decided not to get to close, making a call on what the tower range could be based from experience and knowledge of how far the range is when it levels. "The Diplomatic Party of Team Justice desires an audience with the remnants of team Wolfie!" Turning to his allies Alex spoke quietly, "If we can get them to join us, we can learn a lot of what is going on here, if we make them leave we potentially saved two lives. If they take neither option, I suggest we warn them of Sparrow and Peacock."

"We, of Team Justice, have come on a diplomatic mission." Alex smiled, "We have been informed of your position from another guild." Putting it out frankly Alex hoped to make it clear that this may be the best option for them, "Your tenacity is admirable, and the knowledge you may have may help us. We come inviting you to team Justice. You don't have to decide this moment. But the invitation is out there." He pointed in the direction they came from, "And our current base of operations is over there." Alex nodded, "It's a good camp, buuuuut we have already moved bases once, I wouldn't be suprised if we do again later." He shrugged. "But yeah, If there is a bonus for removing teams, Sparrow or Peacock may come your way, the latter telling us of your position, So maybe leaving the game would be an option as well." scratching the back of his head, he awaited a response, "So what'ya think?" Either they join us, leave, or get killed by another group. Telling them information won't hurt us.

Just before Colt was moments from cracking a bait to begin grinding with Kamui he heard someone call out to them loudly. Putting the bait and spinning on his heels to see the three male players outside the domain of the camp. The last encounter was still fresh in his mind, making sure he was attentive and was standing just in front of Kamui so that they couldn't surprise ranged attack the Wolf's Teams remaining Dabbler. The young red haired fighter had a neutral expression to start with as he listened to the member of their party who was doing the talking which was already unusual for Colt considering his smiling nature. However, said neutral expression slowly turned into a more negative expression as his bangs created a light shadow over much of his upper face as he looked down slightly; listening to the remainder of the player's words until Team Wolf was asked of what they thought at the end.

His first words were quiet as only himself and Kamui could hear. "Are you joking...?" Colt bit his lip before he picked up his head and looked towards the three TEAM JUSTICE players with a frustrated expression yelling out back at them in a more aggravated tone. "Are you fuckin kidding me!" He began moving his hands and arms about as he continued to speak out at them. "You insult our team name and speak of us joining you like some lap dogs that need a fuckin home! I can hear it in your tone and the way your talkin down to us! I bet your only acting like that cause you've got that really strong player on your frickn side huh?! Or maybe because your team hasn't been wiped out! Wiped out by those Peacocks that told you where we were! What are they to high and mighty to finish what they started that they sent their allies to mess with us for fun! If it wasn't already obvious Colt was furious at this point to the level that his hands were shaking and his eyes were filled with a fiery gaze as he starts naming off fallen players of Team Wolf. "Lord_Ains, BloodFallen, SaberTooth...Kirito...!!" To Colt it was still dying in game so to speak but VR has been known to make emotional people more emotional anyways though now as he spoke it wasn't filled with as much rage but still held a dose of defiance in the tone and posture. "Tell your friends the Peacocks that they should finish what they started and come at us with some fuckin pride! We'll return the favor by beating all of them! I'm sick and tired of everyone's lack of honor or ability to show some damn pride!

At this point Colt would draw his longsword but make no aggressive action, merely standing idle where he was as he continued. "TEAM JUSTICE my foot...! Since when do people of justice come to others they deem to help with insults while holding threats and threads of power!"

Colt speaks once more but softly once again so that only Kamui can hear him, though the fighter does so while keeping his eyes trained on the members of TEAM JUSTICE. "Kamui...if you want to go join them you can and you know I won't hold it against you. But I will not bend the knee to these guys. I would have sooner joined those guys from Team Bloodhound."

Welp, that went horribly in multiple ways. Though what Alex had said moments before they departed gave some cause for concern, Tian-Gui definitely wasn't expecting that the ponytailed youth would open in such a way as well. Perhaps flaunting a position of superiority was good for intimidating those two Bloodhound members, but on the other hand…

Tian-Gui dropped his fist onto Alex's head. Not a heavy blow, but merely a gesture, a reprimand. Stepping forwards, the raven-haired youth said, "Alex doesn't speak for the rest of us, but allow me to apologize for his words. The reason we're here is not because we see you as lost strays, but because we need your strengths in order to continue onwards with the Games. Ama-Rei is powerful, yes, and his existence as both our trump card and our mentor has been a great boon, however…he isn't infallible."

"It's clear that other teams outnumber us in terms of total levels, to the extent that, if they simply chose to ignore us in a full-on teamfight, they could kill Ama-Rei in ten seconds. Maybe less, maybe a bit more. That's why we need numbers to match them, and the very fact that you managed to survive a confrontation with Team Peacock, despite the difference in levels, means that you two are skilled in ways that numbers don't account for."

His blue eyes met Bladesong's then, burning brightly.

"Your valor is commendable, Bladesong! So, clearly, only a show of personal force will persuade you! Get out of your Domain. Come at us. No Flag Poles, no Guardians! Two-on-two. Lack of honor? Ability? I will demonstrate both to you, alongside Xenon. If we win, you either join Team Justice or leave this game! If you win, we will join your team or leave you alone for the entirety of the Games. That should be fine, right?"

"No tricks, no gimmicks! Let's battoru!"
