A long time ago, so long that no one can even remember when or who delivered the prophecy. It was said that four babies would be born. Each baby would a strong affinity for one of the elements. fire, water, earth, and wind. The king at the time was a tyrant who ruled with an iron fist. The lands were in ruins, the people lived in poverty. Yet legend said that these children would rise up and restore the land to its former glory. The children were born, as foretold, around twenty or so years ago. The moment these children were born, the king had his guards whisk them away and lock them in a tower together.

On top of the poverty, the two races fought for supremacy. Humans and Demons constantly fought for power and what little food there was. This kept most of his subjects out of his way. If they were too busy fighting each other, they would pay him no mind.

It has been many years since that day, yet brave warriors still rise up and try to reach the tower. It is not as easy as it seems though. The king had his mages plant spells around the tower, ones that are not easily broken. Not to mention the battalion of guards that watch the entrance day and night. Plus it is rumored that a large stone door seals the tower, a riddle written across it.

Will you be one of the brave and try to free the elementals? Or will you continue to live in poverty under the rule of the king?​

5. One liners are the enemy. Can we have at least a paragraph? Is that too much to ask? If I see a single sentence post, I will go beyond flipping my shit. I understand writer's block is a common issue, just please don't drop below three sentences.
6. If you have read these rules in their complete glory, please put "Save the Elements" in your character sheet. If I do not see this, you do not get accepted. Plain and simple. I will tell you that you can have a place once you've read the rules.
7. All characters must be approved by me before joining the role play. This is to prevent stupidity and, once more, to prevent shit flipping.
8. Each person is allowed to have two characters.
9. If you are gone for more than a week without giving me a valid reason before you disappear, you will be removed from the RP. We're not all waiting on one person, we want to keep moving. If you are going on vacation or something tell me before you leave.

Well I'm not going to go with my demon character but have a question on two enchantments, would a enchantment that can cause things to rot or rust be allowed?

@LoveandHate91 Yeah, you can have a weapon enchanted with such an effect. But bear in mind that the best powers are not defined by their capabilities but their limitations. Don't make it too overpowered and able to decay through any monster with just a minor graze.

@LoveandHate91 Tonight or tomorrow morning I'm going to message you about your weapon. I want to work through some details and be a little more clear about it's possibilities. I also want to work out some of it's strenghts and weaknesses, alternatives ways to use that power in a variety of situations (instead of just breaking a weapon or rusting through heavy armor, one may use the sword's power to breakdown structural supports and collapse roofs in on people or rot through some dried leaves on the ground to make the floor slippery and hazardous, for instance, we will work out some better ones), and ways to counter it (my first thought was to burn the afflicted area in living tissue to prevent the spread).

If I may... maybe part of the elementals' powers would be like effecting things like that rot.
Hear me out... yay or nay it... but hear me out...
What if they have an additional ability... like all of them (or a majority of them) be able to effect the other's powers? Wow that made more sense in my head. What I mean... let's say someone is being effected by the rot thing. Jun (Water Elemental) comes along... and maybe she could 'wash' away the rot effect with the help of the other elementals... like 2 or all of them together. The others wouldn't be using their powers... in fact they wouldn't have access to their powers during this... but they in effect bolster Jun's power with an additional force. Almost like a spirit connection between them that they aren't even aware of yet. An effect that would empower a single one of them to use an extra ability or a more extraodinary feat that normally they couldn't do.

Does all that make sense? Is it to early in the morning for me to be proposing complicated ideas?

Edit: I've also taken the liberty to explain his Half Demon biology to give an idea of what he can do.

Honestly I don't see the biology being the reason he's stronger than most demons, I can understand the humans part, but I feel he would be stronger than most demons due to his own training, mutated dna or otherwise. Sorry for the criticism, you can choose to ignore it if you want, I wasn't trying to be rude.

Not too be rude but I think that character is OP I can see him out doing most of the characters in multiple ways.

Well for one he has more strength then all the player characters and any human enemy, and most demons it seems nothing short of a demon lord could overpower him, excluding Relics and Vampires which we don't even know if they exist in this role play.

Then when adrenaline kicks in he gets stronger and faster it seems. So he can basically run around his opponents and strike them down easily. He sounds almost immune to poison and can outlast about any opponent since it takes two hours to where him down. Then it sounds like it will be harder to hurt him, not to mention he can shrug off most injuries. And the only things that hurt him are creatures that may not exist in this role play.

Then there's the healing factor so any damage short of a kill shot will do very little because he will just heal so even though it's harder to hurt him and he can take life threatening hits that could regenerate. He's immune to all diseases.

His senses are quite high so there's no way to sneak up on him because if he dosnt smell you he can hear you, and even if it's dark he still can see with no problems. And if he gets overwhelmed that's going to happen as soon as multiple things show up so how will you work that into the role play. Then he has the increased sight so he can shoot that crossbow from large distances.

And then magic so he can use two different elemental magics that I thought only the elementals should have but if that's not enough he trap people in a small area and either one pelt them with bolts or heal any damage done to him, then he can create a force field that can block any minor attacks.

I think he's pretty on par with my character's true form in a way. If I use her well anyway... which I might not. Lol

Either way, It's cool, there's a balance.

I'll put something down for Reign's abilities as well so it's fair..once I think of how.

I'm finally back to this! Been out of the loop for a day or two... Mostly just a day and a bit.

So, I'm not overly keen on removing someone or something because of how overpowered they are. Rather I'm about finding alternative measures and ways of limiting said power as opposed to just axing it completely. So let's see what we can do.

Yeah, limit those runes/wards to book-level Witcher strength rather than game-level Witcher strength and they will be fine. Because if Geralt could do in the books what he does in the game then every mage in the book would be jealous. As for the healing factor... Typically in the books it just allows them to recover from their poisons and toxins. Whereas in the games it makes them an almost Marvel type character who will pretty much never die from anything other than a one shot. The heightened senses I see as fine since we have animals (such as a certain bear xD) that have senses far superior to a human's too. Speed, you rather ambiguously described as blitz but will not by any means be faster than a human can see and most highly trained fighters should be able to track his movements easily enough even if they can not match the speed physically. Given that this is set in a mostly medieval-style fantasy world, body builders are not a thing and no one in this world would be near that strong... So 800 lbs.... Try dropping it to about 300 or 400 lbs because that is out right crazy level strength for this world. Bear in mind that the reason they want to save the elementals is because their power has the potential to help them overthrow a tyrant and bring a boat load of peace to a bucket load of deserving people. That and the whole prophecy thing... With your character one wonders if the elemental's power is really needed, he should just go and kill the king himself... At least Icydaze's character has limited access to their true form and is not constantly that powerful. Rather it's their trump card for the most dire of circumstances. Also we have no plans for Vampires and very specifically Relicts.

@LoveandHate91 Okay, about your rust sword. Camleen mentioned that the elementals should have a way of working together to cure the rust/rot. Quite like that idea. So yeah, the elementals will have combined powers to perform various feats such as stopping the spread of and even outright removing the rot. For organic matter fire will stop the rot from spreading further but does not remove the already damaged areas... And fire tends to burn most organic matter too soooo.... A lot of high end healing magic would cure the rot to varying degrees. And likewise, rust on inorganic matter is stoppable and even removable if someone did have some kind of powerful repair spell. Furthermore, just like organic matter, metal (not other types of inorganic rust and deterioration effects from the weapon can be heated to a near melting point to stop the rust from spreading further and if the metal is melted down completely or folded/layered in on itself then the rust is as good as gone.

That's my base line for where I stand. LoveandHate91's sword is not too bad and I quite like the idea. Whereas Seishin Ryuu's character is a lot more powerful than other characters. Will be taking a look through everyone's character sheets soon but I think most other people seem fine.

Which one was eighteen powers and what page are they one?

Any further suggestions then just let me know.
