[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy , Cafeteria]

Taking note of Leo once she was seated, Ayame decides to return his wave with a head nod of recognition, though he had engaged himself in another conversation, unfortunately that conversation had brought up the issue of Rei and her being harassed by a Red Panda member, or so Ayame thought of it being most likely.. This was something that needed to be dealt with and soon, unless Rei managed somehow.

Starting on her [BCOLOR=#000000]vegetable soup, using her chopsticks, Ayame dips the dumpling into the warm liquid. Taking a bite, an unexpected visitor sits herself at the table. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Ah Misheru-san, yes its odd how this school can both be large and small depending on what you are doing." [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Giving a small chuckle at that remark, the tracksuit wearing girl had earned some fame for her ninja like antics.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Welcoming the other to sit as the tray touches the table, this was an unexpected if not somewhat welcomed surprise. That being said there was still the core issue to solve, she could contact Nyoko, but the agreement they had was with Kira to be the one to pay up, and Kira judging by last week had no authority over them what so ever. For now she would just double her efforts to catch them in the act, her standard means weren't working so now was the time to try unconventional ones. If that failed then the other options could be looked at, though for now she had two people to watch over. Taking that into consideration Ayame pinches her nose as a headache forms.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#000000] [/BCOLOR]
"Ahhh!" Shaking her head furiously Ayame takes a calm breath and returns to her meal, in place focusing on Misheru.

"So what's new with you?"

[fieldbox= Kamijou Michio, plum, solid]
MichioIcopeg_zps8txoshd1.jpg

[October 23rd, Afternoon / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Second Floor Hallways]

Michio's week had been a lot more tiring and stressful than it had ever been in the past. First of all, his parents weren't really too happy when he broke the news of his intentions of succeeding the old man as the Yakuza Boss. After all, if he really wanted the position, he would have seriously considered it the moment that plate was offered to him. Even when he could practically erase the debt his parents owed to the Yakuza by becoming its boss, they would not allow their son to be tainted by the darkness just to dig them out of the hole they dug themselves in the first place. However, when Michio reluctantly told them the reason for his sudden change of heart, all his father could do was gnash his teeth before finally respecting his son's wish.

And so his half-assed training took a more serious note after that incident. His father would educate him about all he needed to know as a Yakuza Boss, thanks to some notes the old man eagerly sent himself after Ayame had relayed Michio's message to him. He still also had to do his shifts on his part time jobs but now these jobs he got himself into were all exclusively Yakuza-affiliated businesses. He needed to build his reputation after all, and what better way than interacting with the very people he might come to call as subordinates in the future. His physical training exponentially increased as well, and his father was now starting to be a lot more harsher with his lessons compared before.

Add in Social Morals duties and his incessant worrying over Sagawa, whom he had failed to contact for an entire week now and you got a highly stressed, sleep deprived Michio Kamijou.

He was expecting another tiring day of school filled with nothing more than the sight of lessons, paperwork, and Sagawa's vacant seat. The details of her suspension were only briefed to a select few and Michio was, as expected, excluded from that group of people. With the reputation he had built up, dismantled in just the span of a day by Kokoro Amane, he had no real way of getting details out of his fellow Social Morals Officers so he could only rely on rumors and heresays if he ever wanted to get information regarding Sagawa's "sentence" . Still, Kokoro Amane was even more feared than Michio had ever been, meaning these select group of people who knew about this information would die first before spitting out any of the intel they knew. Then again, insubordination to Kokoro would land you a fate even worse than death... or perhaps Michio was just exaggerating. Still, no person would dare disobey Kokoro... or at least those that didn't have power nor reputation wouldn't. It looked like it was more crucial than ever to acquire the power and reputation necessary to stand on equal footing with the student council president.

When he arrived inside the room of Class 2-A, however, Michio felt his jaw drop as the once-empty seat of his childhood friend that had become a familiar sight this past week has its intended occupant seated on it. Had class not been about to start, the white haired boy would have immediately approached his dear childhood friend to strike up a conversation and check up on her. He managed to successfully suppress his urge to run to her straight away and focus on the class for the meantime. Though he still couldn't help stealing a glance at Sagawa from time to time. And that's when he noticed something fundamentally wrong.

Sagawa Mizunohara was the most talented tech specialist in Hisakawa. She could manipulate her VR Chip to a greater, and more efficient extent compared to other people. It has been proven that her expertise placed her in the level of a hacker. But, that same technological wizard who relied so much on her VR Chip to the point she'd use it to walk if there was such a function, was now using what most would consider an ancient relic to copy her notes in class... a notebook and a pen. Since she was so used to typing her notes with her HUD, she was clearly having trouble writing her notes physically. This alone, gave Michio an idea of what Sagawa's sentence entailed.

After seeing his childhood friend's hands practically shackled by the student council, Michio could only clench his fist and gnash his teeth. Other students have also discovered Sagawa's peculiar way of taking notes and began making snide comments about her as per the norm ever since a week ago. She paid no mind to this, as usual, but the white-haired boy was the one getting hurt as he listened to most of his classmates turn against one of their own for a crime she clearly didn't commit.

Later, during lunch time, she noticed Sagawa giving both him and Imada Chiyo a strange look, as if urging them to follow her. However, since both of them had agreed not to get directly in each other's way when they made the compromise, it was clear both of them couldn't meet with Sagawa at the same time.

Michio decided that he should be the one to see her first since among the two of them, he had been her friend for the longest time. He just hoped that Chiyo wouldn't mind.

"Imada-san, I'll go and talk to Sagawa-chan first. When I'm done, I'll send you a message so you can follow suit. Don't worry. I still have a lot of stuff to deal with so I'll try to make it quick and just catch up with her more when I walk her home later." Michio politely told Chiyo before exiting the room without awaiting her response.

He scoured the second floor of the main building until he found her and several other people at the hallway, near the window where Yamagawa Lisa almost jumped to her death. It was tightly shut now, of course, along with other windows where students might be able to squeeze out of in light of Kokoro's orders. However, staring at it still unnerves him quite a bit as it serves as a reminder not only to him, but everyone supporting Sagawa about her noble sacrifice to save Lisa's life. The saying "No good deed goes unpunished perfectly describes Sagawa's situation.

Eagerly, he walked up to Sagawa but stopping midway when he realized Iori, and even Kyuko, two people he didn't particularly get along with, were present.

He bowed respectfully to the two ladies before asking for their permission to interrupt respectfully.

"Nishimura-san, Himura-san, I hope you don't mind me interrupting to speak with Mizunohara-san."

Unlike with Chiyo, he decided that it would be proper to wait for the two girls' approval this time around, specially when Kyouko Himura was here too. Michio and Kyouko were both Sagawa's childhood friends but after her brother was convicted for a crime, the blonde girl and the white-haired boy's friendship shattered like a fragile glass as Kyouko blamed him for his inaction towards Mizunohara-kun's misconducts.

"Sometimes, not taking action is the worst decision of all." Kyouko had once told him, and now, he was starting to agree with her. Perhaps it was really his fault. Perhaps the powerlessness he felt back then was just a cowardly excuse not to take any action. Perhaps if he braved the world of those older than him, he and Kyouko could have saved Sagawa's brother from his fate. But things were different now. He decided that he would take all possible actions to protect that person who meant the world to him. Sagawa Mizunohara once saved him when both of them were just kids. It was now his chance to return the favor. But he knew very well that he couldn't do it alone. Just like with Chiyo and Iori, he knew that he would need Kyouko's help along the way. And when that time came, he could only hope that both of them could set aside their differences to save their childhood friend.

[BCOLOR=#000000]Kira grinned when Leo said it was close to decent. She assumed that might be actual praise if it came from someone like him, even if it didn't exactly sound like it. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Though I doubt Misheru will care about that, if anything it'll probably make her more annoyed. Oh~ what incredible drama." [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Yes, well, maybe she'll get a taste of her own medicine," Kira said, not really concerned with how annoyed it might make Misheru. If anything, it would be a nice bonus. "I'm not trying to start any unnecessary drama."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]It sounded like a lie even to her ears. If she didn't want drama, she should have kept her head down and not done anything to provoke the other redhead in class. Yet here she was.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Kira's grin widened as she saw Misheru enter the cafeteria, and when she almost sat down at their table she expected The Devil In Disguise to say something about the story. She didn't. Instead she took a seat at Ayame's table, pretending like nothing had happened and greeting her friend.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Nice to see the school is [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#000000]so small [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#000000]that all of us get the opportunity to eat together.[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#000000]".[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Kira's eye twitched. That was it? She wasn't going to comment on the story, or how Kira had gotten more people than usual to read it? Even at their school!? Had she even read it…? She thought she'd sent it to her days ago?[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"It's funny how the written word can bring people together," Kira replied. "Remarkable even."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]She wasn't going to give up just like that. If Misheru was going to act like nothing had happened the last week, she would get in her face about it. She would make her care. She might even write a sequel to her shipping fic, and make it a lot more risque than the first one.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Kira prepared the link to her story once more, while she stuffed herself with a meat bun. There was no way to send it anonymously which she knew about, so she was going to be loud and proud![/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Mmm, on top as long as the music's loud," Kira mumbled into the meat bun in her mouth, and sent the story to Misheru once. She swayed side to side in her seat, with a sly smile. "Listen..." Kira sent it two more times to Misheru, closing her eyes as she swayed to the rhythm she imagined in her head. One of her favourite songs. "If you think I'll let it go you're mad."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]When Kira stopped moving, mumbling and stuffing herself with food, she'd sent it six times in a row to Misheru. She considered sending it to everyone else in cafeteria, but she didn't know most of their names. She could have sent it to Ayame, but she suspected that would have gotten the brute to beat her up.[/BCOLOR]

SaionjiIco_zpsebvey9kd.jpeg

[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Class 2-A Hallway]

The most attention Rei had paid to the pirate was a glance. The pirate was more determined to shoot a deadly glare at Rei for being there, but the stone faced student that was Rei Saionji didn't care. She didn't even respond to the provoking comment that the pirate made. Rei just waited for the response.

"Oh. Um..."

She sounded different today. Or maybe Rei hadn't been paying attention.

"It was nothing. I was worried for Lisa-Chan as well."

"Anyone would be. Well, I need lunch. Stay safe, Sawaga-san."

A casual remark tossed over her shoulder and she was already behind the corner of the hallway before she stopped walking. Some eavesdropping was necessary, as she noted Micho hadn't run into Sawaga's arms like a lost puppy. He looked tired too, and Rei wanted to confront him about it. She sat down where she was and pulled out the bento she'd made.

",,,Are you two going to fight? Just so you know, I wouldn't be able to help you win, even if I wanted to. Come to think of it, is that the only reason you came up to me?!"

"No, we're not fighting Mizunohara-san!"

Right, like the maid wasn't famous for it. Rei quietly said a prayer then began eating her octopus hot dogs, noting the store bought taste. She would have made it by hand but she didn't have the time lately.

"Actually, Himura-san and I got paired for a 5 page Social Morals writing project. As the due date is tomorrow, I was supposed to hand in my part by today and I totally forgot about it!"

Nice lie. Rei stared at the panda sticker, hoping that the truth would come to light if she stared at it long enough.

"As such, Himura-san wanted us to brainstorm together during lunch so that we could finish it early!"

Awkward chuckle. Smooth there Iori.

"Isn't that right, Himura-san?"

"Nishimura-san, Himura-san, I hope you don't mind me interrupting to speak with Mizunohara-san."

Here comes the main event. Rei started scooping in as much food as possible to try and make her able to walk by if she found it convenient.

She hated that she had to do this, but Michio was different lately. Tired, like she was and with all the business of the stickers Rei had been trying to keep up with the training. Michio did work for the yakuza though, and unless Rei begged her mom to let her, she doubted very much that she'd get the same advantage.

She hated this. Michio had been her friend, but suddenly they had to compete for this darkness in their hearts. Maybe Ayame was right, she wasn't cut out for this. No, Ayame was incompetent and unable to stop this stupid sticker crap. Therefore her opinion was to be discarded.

Rei waited in the hall, listening in to try and hear what the group had to say next, hidden by the wall.

",,,Are you two going to fight? Just so you know, I wouldn't be able to help you win, even if I wanted to. Come to think of it, is that the only reason you came up to me?!"

Great. This already started out marvellous. Maybe the blonde was putting too much thought into the meat-bun lover's allegation, but there was so much Kyouko had wanted to tell her; alas, with Iori around, there was no way Kyouko would show her softer side.

Instead, the eye-patch wearing girl responded to Sagawa rather bold, giving Iori a smuggish grin for a second. "Helping me win? Against her? Hah... . But no, I am not here for that." Before Kyouko continued more concerning, now facing Sagawa. "We should really hang out again sometime! I'm trying my best to make those Fools spilling their lies to shut up, but I have been rather busy myself." That was as far as Kyouko would go with someone like Iori around - not to mention Rei who...actually wasn't around anymore.

With that said, the blonde was finally able to get serious in regards to the Maid, who was actually taking the initiative.

"Actually, Himura-san and I got paired for a 5 page Social Morals writing project. As the due date is tomorrow, I was supposed to hand in my part by today and I totally forgot about it! As such, Himura-san wanted us to brainstorm together during lunch so that we could finish it early! Isn't that right, Himura-san?"

It took Kyouko a bit before her thoughts changed from 'We had a writing project? Social morals no less?' to 'I see what you're doing there'. No... this was... exactly one of the reasons Kyouko did not like Iori in the first place. Sure, a harmless lie like that would give both of them a nice excuse to just head off without Sagawa tagging along BUT a lie was, well, still a lie.

Not to mention, how... not right... it was, if anyone knew it was one of her childhood friends just how much Kyouko did not like, or care, about social morals.

Now, Kyouko let out another sigh. It was plain and simple, just the truth, really. "It's not right." Kyouko stated. "But not entirely wrong either. Nishimura and me are part of the same club and our boss wants us to play house and live happily ever after, or else something bad is gonna happen to both of us! Having already spend way too much time doing nothing I simply wanted to take the initiative now! So... if you don't mind me kidnapping her? Or..." Kyouko stopped, for a second she was nearly about to suggest Sagawa tagging along anyways. The hell?!

"Nishimura-san, Himura-san, I hope you don't mind me interrupting to speak with Mizunohara-san."

It was then that Kyouko heard another voice, facing it to see HIM standing there . Just fucking great, out of all things that could happen, this was one of the worst. "Michio..." Kyouko silently murmured his first name; full of detest and rather to herself just to make herself truly aware of that he was, in fact, addressing her.

Sagawa%20Ico_zpspkldzqsy.jpg

[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Second Floor Hallways]

Sagawa shook her head at the pirate.

"No, I don't mind. Kyou-chan. I have things to get done as well."

At least Kyouko was being honest. Sagawa thought. Of course, all the things in regards to virtu-ava battles or whatever club the two were a part of were things that didn't have to do with her. Indeed, Sagawa had already long accepted that herself and the eye patch pirate weren't the same people who became friends all that time ago.

To put it bluntly, despite being childhood friends... it was nothing more than that. Sagawa had already accepted the fact that they were probably going to drift apart at this point. Different people, different sets of friends. She couldn't just cling to Kyouko and Michio for support. Not anymore.

She had endeavored to be better than that, from now on.

"You two can, um... just continue whatever it is you're doing. Later." She turned to the most recent intruder. "Michio-kun... let's go then?"

Taking his hand, she tugged him away.

...

On the way out.... it was too late for her. Sagawa glanced at Rei Saionji, whom had been hidden just around the corner. Sagawa gave a split second look that instantly said she found the discovery peculiar, but she continued on with Michio. For Rei, their cover blown, it seemed like it was inadvisable to go after them at this point.

[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, School Rooftop]

Sagawa was able to pull him off somewhere away from prying eyes. Removed from the students in the hallways, the Iori and Kyoko duo settling another chapter in their rivalry. Away from everything. Right now, there was only one person who needed to hear what she had to say.

Reluctantly, Michio gave access to the main school building rooftop. Through the whole time Sagawa was leading him, Michio felt a sense of dread. There was this aura that she was giving off. This aura that seemed to indicate she was certain of a certain decision one had to make.

The fact that this sort of demeanor precluded their talk was only a bad sign. The boy mentally braced for what was to come.

"We're here." Finally at the rooftop, Sagawa let go of his hand. "This way, no one will hear us. Not even Amane-san."

She turned around. The grim determination seemed to have subsided, much to the boy's relief. Sagawa was now just wearing the same default apathetic expression she usually had. Reflecting her regards to most everyone and anything going on at school.

However, as relieving as it was. There was still a pressing question to ask. About Sagawa suddenly using paper and pencil all of a sudden. For someone as Michio, he could even tell that her lack of certain. Gestures meant she wasn't making use of her chip at all.

The only explanation was...

"Ive spent the entire past week recovering, since my chip was removed. But, i suppose that was pretty obvious enough from seeing me in class today, right? The adults supposed that, without it, I wouldn't cause trouble for our classmates anymore. "

Michio was aghast at the revelation.

That could've only meant, on the back of Sagawa's neck. Hidden by her hair... was likely a rapidly healed scar from where doctors had ripped out the chip from her. For kids like them, who had it installed soon after birth, it meant that they had possibly needed to cut through bone in order to get to it.

Such a horrifying scenario. And for it to happen to Sagawa of all people. A part of him wanted t9 physically verify it himself, but if she did get surgery there, he couldn't shamelessly go up to her and see it himself.

With a downcast expression, Sagawa continued.

"I've realized, I've made a good amount of mistakes in the past week. Getting into virtu Ava battles, showing everyone what I could do. Antagonizing the class president, and... relying too much on other people."

Depending on other people.

Certainly, she wasn't speaking of him. For all that happened, Michio was practically powerless. But, he was going to change! He'd become the Yakuza Boss and make sure no one would be able to touch him or any of the people he cared about. As a Boss, even Kokoro Amane would have to answer to him. And, he could even restore Sagawa's chip. He could undo all the damage that had been done!

That was that the boy had endeavored to do. He could spend ten lifetimes of effort, and still not get close to what becoming a Yakuza boss could do. The opportunity was there. If he worked hard enough... he could even stand a chance to gain favor over Rei Saionji.

He could ease all of his childhood friend's worries and woes by telling her this. He had a plan now. It was going to work. He would make it work no matter the cost.

But... before he could say any of this. Sagawa spoke again. Looking directly I his eyes, she blatantly dashed those hopes for such a clean ending.

"I hate the yakuza. I've decided that."

"I found out that Kokoro used her influence to push through such a harsh judgement. She must've really not taken kindly to someone being able to do what I did. Even if I never did anything as severe as the Hacker did."

Wait...

"That's why. I've decided that I'll hate the Yakuza, and anyone else related them."

Sagawa, please wait...

"Even if it was some one like you Michio. If I found out you were one of them, even by mere association. I'd immediately hate them then and there. Because.. Without my chip, it feels like I've been stripped of one of my arms...!"

...the determination in those words were grim.

If Michio would even give Sagawa a hint at to what he was doing... it seemed like she genuinely was willing to tear apart their friendship right there. For the first time, he could feel her anguish and frustration for the way she hissed out those words.

"There's no way you would be taking orders from the president because she's yakuza, right Michio?"

Sagawa asked this crucial question. Was she really going to disown him here, if he told her the truth? No, he couldn't. Everything would fall apart if he lost her now. Therefore: Michio... had no choice.

He shook his head, and outright lied to his childhood friend.

"Thank goodness." Sagawa replied, with relief in her voice. "When Amane-san was interrogating me, she said something like that. Like you were one of her subordinates she had on a leash. But, but here no way, right? I'm certain of it."

She was wrong. As he was now, he was powerless. In a heartbeat l, if the Yakuza ever decided his family's debts to them were due... they could murder them, and have their organs harvested and sold off to help make up the difference.

With that in mind, Sagawa at least got off alive, though technically also crippled. At at the very least, she was still otherwise fine. She could still live a normal life.

"Sorry, I guess I wanted to just vent a little about what happened." Sagawa apologized, with a hushed giggle. "Any way, last week I wanted to thank you for sticking up for me and all the other times you've been nice to me."

She giggled again. At this point, Michio could only see a conflicted smile on her face. Right now, her fringes hid what expression her eyes were making.

Then she fell silent, before finally saying it in a voice void of emotion.

"Please stop it."

"That thing you did. Please don't do that again."

The image of Michio's bold declarations from the week before mentally flashed through the boy's mind. Michio was taken aghast. He internally knew, but he didn't want to believe it. But, right now. Everything was on the verge of falling apart between him and her.

There was no question in his heart about how he felt about her. But when he tried to reverse the question. About how she felt about him. The whole of that conception was based on that promise. That treasured promise. That sacred promise.

Sagawa was uncomfortable with public Displays of affection. So there was never a time to confirm it to himself. It seemed like, if he worked hard enough, everything would fall into place. But, right then, a week ago, Michio kissed Sagawa on the forehead and made it blazingly clear.

But that wasn't supposed be how it would've went. All of that was no doubt a shock to her.

To Michio Kamijou's horror, he realized that in that moment of passion he had set himself up for failure with the one person outside his family who mattered to him.

He was... getting shot down right now? This was what getting rejected looked like, didn't it?

"Michio..."

[ I'm sorry. ]

If those words escaped her lips, that would be the end of that childhood promise. Michio had to avoid that at all costs. But how? He was an aspiring Yakuza boss under Kokoro's thumb. Something that Sagawa had outright said she detested. And he had done something that both he and her disliked before a crowd of people.

His hasty choices had lead to this. That's right. It even went against what his yakuza training had stressed:

Proceed thoughtfully. Actions decided in a split second could lead to results that last forever.

Right now, that lesson was about to painfully play out right before his eyes.

If he kept silent, he would only resign himself.

Michio Kamijou, with thought out determination, made his choice...

"It's not right."

Iori's amicable expression faded afterwards as Kyouko laid out her own explanations. It actually sounded better than her own lies!

("A wizard should know better...!")

She internally complained to herself.

Then Michio arrived and bowed to the maid and the pirate, as if he was trying to get their permissions to speak with Sagawa.

"Nishimura-san, Himura-san, I hope you don't mind me interrupting to speak with Mizunohara-san."

The maid glanced at Kyouko who was openly displaying her dislike at Michio's presence and frowned.

Then Sagawa responded that she has own stuff to do as well to Kyouko. At this moment, Iori finally realized something, and the next response from Sagawa was kind of predicable.

"You two can, um... just continue whatever it is you're doing. Later."

With that, Sagawa left the other two while tugging Michio with her. It was obvious that both of them are going to catch up after Sagawa went missing for a week, and as such they require personal space. The maid stared at the pair longingly, part of her wanting to know what they want to discuss about. At the same time, she knows that it is something she was not supposed to poke into.

With a long noticeable sigh, Iori turned at Kyouko.

"So..."

The maid spoke with a rough tone and expression that resembled a sukeban, a complete change from her previous demeanor.

"What do you want to do this time?"

[October 30th , Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Cafeteria]

Hearing Kira's reason for the story that she made, Yuuki just nods. Continuing to read the story that she wrote about her and Misheru. It was not really a masterpiece, but it was alright, the writing weren't that bad. Yuuki didn't like Misheru anyway.

"Though I doubt Misheru will care about that, if anything it'll probably make her more annoyed. Oh~ what incredible drama."

Leo seemed to be enjoying what would be the outcome for this story.

"Yes, well, maybe she'll get a taste of her own medicine, I'm not trying to start any unnecessary drama."

A bad lie, that's what Yuuki thought. If she's not going to start any drama she wouldn't wrote the story in the first place.

Then he saw Misheru arrived in the cafeteria, he wondered what would happen next as she nearly took a seat in the same table as Kira. But she instead took a seat with Ayame nearby.

"Nice to see the school is so small that all of us get the opportunity to eat together."

And that was it, nothing happened.

"It's funny how the written word can bring people together, remarkable even."

Yuuki nodded at both Misheru and Ayame before continuing to read. Yuuki took a drink and turned to Misheru.

"Hey Mish, Have you read this story that Kira wrote? It got you in it." Yuuki said when Kira was mumbling and stuffing herself with food while enjoying the music. "Just thought you should know." Yuuki shrugged, surely Misheru have heard about this.

"..." Sagawa left. Just like that. Dismissing the pirate's half-hearted attempt to kind-of make-up. It hurt Kyouko more than she liked to admit. Was this how things were supposed to happen? Kyouko couldn't accept it. Just why didn't she follow her then? Was it...fear? Yet again? The blonde balled her fists. She was visibly angry. Angry at herself. Despite her best efforts, she was still weak.

Maybe, however, Kyouko was just overreacting. Reading too much into the weird situation she brought upon herself. Just the mere thought about losing Sagawa however... teared up her soul. Closing her eyes for a second, the blonde relaxed.

"Head straight up and always forward..." She whispered louder than she liked to admit before regaining her composure completely, now paying full attention to the wannabe-female-banchou.

"Well... we gotta show Nyoko we get along or something, right?"

Actually, the one-eye hadn't thought any further than confronting Iori. Just...great. Well, first she had to make sure Iori actually did care about her position.

"You care about the money...."

Well, then again, everybody cared about money, no? It was an adult thing after all.

"I care about... Yukimaru not becoming a lieutenant."

Though if anybody but Yukimaru would have replaced Iori the blonde would have been fine with that too.

"So... let's do our best together?"

Now, the pirate even displayed a small grin on her face.

"I already started by calling a Fool by her name instead."

Not titling a Fool a Fool seemed like something so insignificant, easy and simple, but was in fact a huge step for Kyouko.

"I'm not trying to start any unnecessary drama."

"Liar"

It seemed fate itself wanted something to happen. As Misheru sat down near to them. Looking at Kira's face, she looked like a giddy school child happily waiting for Misheru to react. But Misheru seemed fine.

"It's funny how the written word can bring people together. Remarkable even." Kira said with the subtly of a speeding bus. Leo began to slowly sit up.

A little silence as Kira was busy destorying some lunch. With a small smile, Leo took his phone out of his pocket. There was a little silence going on here, and he was going to predict-

"Hey Mish,-" Leo raised his phone up. "Have you read this story that Kira wrote? It got you in it."

*Click*

"Just thought you should know."

"Yeah because she wasn't go to figure that out by herself." Leo commented, putting his phone back in his pocket. Looking at Misheru, Leo shrugged. " Good luck dealing with this mess. I can't say I pity you."

[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Second Floor Hallways]

Walking back to the classroom, Leo glanced at a few rare loitering students who apparently had nothing better to then then hang around in the hallway during lunchtime. Those who specifically stood in a hallway by themselves tended to show some of the unfortunate outcasts of the school. Even the cafeteria was too much for some students. So afraid of social conversation that they would avoid the place most people would reasonably go during lunch. Too devoid of confidence to make a change...

Well, none of that was exactly true. Those were just the thoughts that some might had as they passed the loners making friends with windows.

In conclusion, hallway loitering was a dangerous hobby.

It was at this point that he saw Iori and Kyouko down the hallway. Visibly frowning, Leo almost comically looked in any direction to find literally anyhting else to do.

"..."

He blinked, "Well...hello there." Leo tilted his head. "Just....hanging around in the hallway I see."

"Any reason for that or do you just have a thing for hallways?"

[October 30th , Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Cafeteria]

The redhead was not a stranger to the Internet, nor was she a stranger to her classmates and other students of Hisakawa Koukou. To 'reminiscence' back to about a week ago, Misheru Tachibana ironically discovered the fanfiction written by the other redhead a few hours after it was published online. Although, the real credit of discovery belonged to one of her followers who followed Kira online too.

'Neh, PUN-chan, I didn't know the two of you had a thing together. ><'
'Excuse me?'
'Didn't you read the fanfiction? :o'

And that was the story of how Misheru stumbled upon the written word. That brings everyone back here. And more specifically, Kira spamming her with the link to it and Yuuki being 'helpful' enough to inform her about the online work.

Without clicking on the links sent to her, she merely shrugged before saying, "Someone else actually sent me the link the day it was published.".

Misheru Tachibana then took a bite out of the rice-filled spoon before twirling it slightly, motioning it into a circle of a sort, "Well, it wasn't bad, I'd give you that. Although, having it raise eyebrows on our relationship, if there's any, is not ideal," the redhead wasn't too bothered about the fanfiction. She could tell that this was an attempt to faze her usual self, but she didn't really care. It was true that her gay fantasies annoyed a hanful of people, but they were at the wrong too to assume she wrote about them. All she merely does is picture them together before moving on to writing about characters that were worth her time.

So no, she wasn't fazed. It was Kira's right to write whatever she felt like anyways.

[fieldbox= Kamijou Michio, plum, solid]
MichioIcopeg_zps8txoshd1.jpg

[October 23rd, Afternoon / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Rooftop]

Like a house of cards, everything seemed to have collapsed for Kamijou Michio. His plans, his ambitions, his single dream. They were now brought meaningless after Mizunohara Sagawa finished what she had to say and the ghosts of Doubt, Failure, and Regret began to haunt him.

Doubt.

He was starting to doubt if he truly was in the right path, as his name implied. He was starting to doubt whether or not becoming the Yakuza Boss was the best course of action to acquire the power necessary to oppose Kokoro Amane. When Sagawa arrived at school and spent an entire class without even giving any hint of using her chip, he had guessed that she had merely been forbidden from accessing her chip. But after she told her that Amane had used her influence to push through her harsh judgment, he didn't know if he should be mad at the student council president for delivering such a crippling punishment to his childhood friend, or at himself for attempting to become the leader of the organization that was used to deliver that punishment in the first place.

That is why it was understandable that she declared she'll outright loathe anyone who was even remotely associated with the Yakuza. Out of fear, he instinctively denied his association with the criminal organization. He didn't want to lose her after all. He let go of his childhood fantasies of becoming a great engineer, a doctor, a businessman, or even an astronaut. He let go of those foolish ideals since he knew those paths have already been closed for him the moment his father accepted the old man's "help".

Failure.

Being with her was the only dream he stubbornly held on to after all these years. Sagawa was more than just a friend to the white-haired boy. She and her brother were his saviors. The small patch of light that managed to push back the darkness that had slowly enveloped his life. But he seems to have already failed three people now.

He had failed Sagawa's brother since he didn't manage to prevent him from straying from the right path.

He had basically failed Sagawa since the last glimmer of hope for power, was then snuffed by her bold declaration of enmity and hatred towards the Yakuza. In his quest for power, he had come up a dead end.... no a dead end was much better than where he was now. A dead end meant you had the option of going back. But the moment he contacted Ayame about his conviction to succeed the "old man.", he had effectively already set out on a linear path towards the dark side. And Sagawa's burning hatred for the Yakuza has boxed himself in.

Regret.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, he had already caught on what his childhood friend intended to tell him. As if his association with the Yakuza didn't threaten not only his dream but his friendship with her also, that one act he pushed aside as an "exception" came back to haunt him. Why had he done it? Was it because he thought he wouldn't see her again until this conflict was resolved? Was it because he was afraid of losing her indefinitely?

In his mind, there was no doubt that he loved Sagawa Mizunohara. But upon reversing that question, was the feeling ever mutual. Sure, they were particularly close for friends, but how did she view their relationship. Had she decided from long ago that they'd be nothing more but friends? Was her feelings ever mutual to what he felt for her at some point? Or was he just chasing after an unattainable dream? Had he fallen victim to the one thing he cast away when his family started to become indebted to the Yakuza. Dreaming the impossible dream. Attaining the unattainable wish.

Perhaps if he acted a lot more cautiously, that dream may have just proven difficult but not impossible. Perhaps if he had not made those hasty decisions, he would have ended up with her in some future. No matter. It was too late. All roads had led to failure because of his decisions. No matter how much he wished to reset the timeline before he made those decisions that led to a Bad End, he knew that such a thing only happens in games. This was real life, and this was the reality created by his choices. Choices that he would have to live with for the rest of his life.

There was no way he could get out of this now unscathed. A sacrifice was needed to push forward and open a way. But was it a sacrifice he was willing to make? Would he really sacrifice one of the anchors of hope he had left aside from his family? Was he willing to sacrifice his dream and his friendship with her in order to save her? If he truly loved her with all his being... then...

"I see... I understand now. Such childish dreams just weren't meant to be... I was a fool to believe in that promise in the first place. I was an idiot to do those things that you clearly hated... In my fear of losing you, I had set myself up for this result..." He began muttering under his breath, which would confuse the meat bun lover quite a bit should she hear it.

After heaving a deep sigh, he finally made a decision. There was no other way. This was the only path left for him. No more hiding.... No more lies... She deserved to know who he really is... even if telling her about that darkness would inevitably sever their relationship. And so...

"Sagawa Mizunohara. I never really did expound a lot about my family huh? I think you do not know a single thing about my family aside from my parents' names. I guess it's time you learn the truth about me... before you decide to cut all of our connections for good." A forlorn expression was visible on his face as he said those words to his most precious friend.

"My father didn't have the best of luck. In fact, he was the most unfortunate person I've ever met. He's had all kinds of misfortunes and accidents befall him throughout his life. he said there was only one brief period of fortune he experienced and that was when I was born until I was at in elementary school. At the time, my father's business suddenly became successful and it looked like his life was finally starting to turn around. He had a beautiful wife, a healthy son, a loving family and a successful business. What more can a man ask for right? My life was great too. I had loving parents, my grades were good at school, and I had plenty of friends. Those were the happiest moments of my early childhood. No... those were only fleeting moments of happiness as I would soon come to discover it."

Michio turned away from Sagawa, unable to look her in the eyes and reveal the truth behind his circumstances at the same time.

"During my last two years of elementary school, my father's business went up in flames. His company going bankrupt was the catalyst that changed our lives forever. In order to dig himself out of the hole he was buried in when his company went bankrupt, my father accepted the financial aid of a distant relative who happened to be the Boss of the Yakuza. He didn't realize that by accepting the old man's help, he would dig himself an even deeper hole than where he had been before and drag his family along with him down that hole. His desperation led to the inevitable outcome of my family being indebted to the Yakuza. So... even before we have met, the Yakuza had already burrowed itself deep into my family's life like a parasite. " Michio continued in a disgusted voice.

"After he made that deal with the devil, rumors quickly spread like wildfire in my previous hometown. After everyone knew that my family was not only indebted to the Yakuza but related to a Yakuza boss as well, everyone started to detest us and fear us. My father's friends and associates cast him away, my mother's friends distanced themselves from her, my friends from school... how I wish they did the same. But before they did that, they betrayed me first. Most of the people I once called as friends started to violently bully me. I'd never come home from school without a new cut, gash, or bruise which I had to hide from my parents. They had enough problems to deal with after all. I didn't want to add up to their list of worries. The whole town basically turned against us. And we were forced to move here in this town in order not only to run away from the townspeople but also to honor the request of the "old man" to move to a place where he could keep a better eye on us. There was no escape." His disgust was replaced by melancholy as he recalled all the suffering he had experienced in the past. He wore a grim expression as he remembered the deeds of the people whose names nor faces had already been repressed in the furthest reaches of his mind.

"So we moved to this new town where we didn't know anybody and nobody knew us. It was hard at first but we wouldn't have had it any other way. It was pointless to run to a place where people knew who you really are after all. It was hard to adjust to this new life but we managed. Before I started schooling, the old man visited us again to check if we didn't run away from him... and to reveal something that would push me down further into their world of darkness. Aside from the debt that my family would have to eventually pay in full, he would name me as one of his potential successors along with another heir. Both of us would have to prove worthy of the position, so I was forced to undergo basic training along with combat training to ensure not only my survival but my family's as well. If I didn't comply, we'd all have ended up in body bags... no... since it's them we're talking about, we'd have disappeared without a trace. " Melancholy turns into anguish as he thought of what the Yakuza was capable of doing to his family.

Every time he revealed more of his past, he could feel his mind mentally screaming for him to stop. His sanity was begging him to dismiss all that he had said as a joke, and his heart ached more and more as he prepared for the inevitable outcome. With every word he uttered, with every fact he mentioned, with every truth he revealed, he was certain that the distance between him and Sagawa had already started to grow.

"Every time I come back home from school, only the microwaved meals from my mother and the notes explaining why they couldn't join me for dinner greeted me. In the rare instances when I catch my father home, he would spend the time whipping me into the ideal Yakuza Boss. I accepted it not because of interest for the position but of the obligation and desire to protect my family. I couldn't even tell the other heir that I was secretly, yet slowly, being trained since I had once been friends with that person. Because both of my parents had to work now, I had to help out around the house in any way I can."

Independence and discipline were two of the changes he welcomed. It taught him to stand up on his own feet because the only person you could truly trust was yourself.

"By the time I finished my chores, it would already be after dark and it was the only time I could play on the public playground devoid of any life. Still, I liked it that way. I was afraid of interacting with other children my age after all the suffering I had to endure for the past two years. I was fine with being by myself. Even if it was lonely being alone, at least it meant nobody was going to hurt me ever again. But, as luck, or fate would have it, I came across your brother during one of my evening excursions. After seeing me playing by myself, he invited me to is group of friends. I was hesitant at first but I wasn't a match for his stubbornness. Shortly afterwards, I met you and that's when some ray of light appeared on what I thought would have been a life of impermeable darkness. The time I spent with you, your brother, and Kyouko... those were the most treasured memories I have of my childhood. Undoubtedly, those were the happiest too."

The Mizunohara siblings taught him that he could trust others again, they saved him from the crushing state of loneliness that had continued to pervade throughout his life ever since his family began to have ties with the Yakuza. They showed him that the world isn't blanketed in perpetual, impermeable darkness.

"But as my luck would have it, I couldn't save your brother from the consequences of the path he had chosen for himself. The path of violence, wrongdoings, and crime. My friendship with Kyouko shattered because of my reluctance to take action. What could a kid like me do after all? There was no way he'd listen to a kid like me if I lectured him. That helpless feeling I had back then was worse than all the suffering I endured in my old hometown. I didn't just feel helpless... I felt like I also betrayed your brother since I failed to save him when he, on the other hand, did not even hesitate to stretch his hand to me and save me from my darkness."

"So, I decided. That I'd become someone you can rely on. That in the absence of your brother, I would do everything in my ability to protect you and become someone you can depend on. Even now I felt the same way. In exchange, you offered that childhood promise of ours. That we'd end up being together forever. On that day, against my better judgment, I allowed myself to cherish a single dream. And that is to be with you... If you hadn't figured it out yet, I've had feelings for you ever since we were in middle school. Though i guess that isn't important now, right?" A blush could be visibly seen on his face as he made his feelings clear to Sagawa. Feelings that he was now certain would never be reciprocated.

"Everything seemed to be smooth-sailing from then on. We were the closest of friends ever since we met each other up until now. We've shared some laughs, shed some tears, comforted each other from their worries, and told each other their problems. But there was one thing I refused to tell you... that I'm not merely involved with the Yakuza, I was forced to be at the center of it all. I didn't want to involve you in this darkness, I wanted to protect you from it. You could say being with you strengthened my reluctance to become part of the Yakuza, so my training eventually stopped when we reached high school."

That was one of the other reasons he lied to her. He didn't want to get her involved in the dark side. But, she at least deserved to know the truth, before she decides to end their relationship altogether.

"But in light of the recent events that happened, I realized I could never run away from the darkness. No matter how fast light travels, darkness had always been there first. When I failed to prove your innocence to Kokoro, I was afraid of losing you. I've never been terrified like that in my entire life. I was afraid that unless I gain a power that even Kokoro Amane would have no choice but acknowledge, I would never be able to overturn and reconsider her judgment. That's why I did two things that would make you reasonably hate me. The first was that kiss. I never intended it to reveal my true feelings for you, not yet. Instead, I wanted it to symbolize my promise of proving your innocence. And due to my conviction to protect you, to save you, and to clear your name and prove your innocence, I decided to become the person that you decided you'd hate the most... I decided that in order to secure my family's safety and in order for Kokoro Amane to acknowledge me and any evidence that I could find to prove your innocence, I would need the power, the influence, and the authority that came along the position of the Yakuza Boss. I decided to let the darkness permanently envelop my life in order to save you."

Kokoro Amane was untouchable. Only someone with much greater influence could bend her to their will. She would only listen to someone who's either worth her time, or someone who she has no choice but to listen to.

"Now I no longer have a choice. I've already decided to become the next Boss. There is no turning back for me now. If I even show the slightest hint of hesitation to the old man, he would have my parents kidnapped, and harvested for their organs to pay the debt before being dumped into a random harbor, while I would be forced to watch it all transpire. He would not kill me. No. He would grant me a fate worse than death. I would lose everything and have only myself to blame."

There were a thousand ways the old man could make his life a living hell. There were many options he could choose to inflict the worst damage to someone with wavering conviction. And no matter how much Michio begged for the sweet release of death, he would never be granted that until either his body succumbs to death's embrace or if the old man decides to end the boy's miserable life himself.

"That is what my life is, was and ever will be."

No matter how much he tried to run, the darkness would still haunt him.

"There is no other way"

He could no longer go back to the way things were. He could no longer back out of the decision he had come up with, himself.

"This is the only path for me now."

All alternatives had disappeared. All paths led to failure. There was only a one way road ahead of him.

"In order to become the hero that could save every person he cares about, I would willingly become the most hated villain."

Saving someone means not saving someone else. By choosing to save Sagawa, he had condemned himself to this fate.

"And no matter what happens... even if you sever our connections... even if you treat me like a traitor... even if you loathe me with all of your being... I would still love you, Sagawa. I would still do everything I can to not only have your chip returned to you but for your name to be cleared as well. "

That was his undying conviction. That was the decision he came up with himself. Even is she refused his help, even if she forbid him from getting involved in this, he had already made that decision.

"So feel free to hate me, feel free to curse me, feel free to sever our relationship, feel free to treat me as the source of all the world's evils, and feel free to abandon me. I would accept it all, I would gladly sacrifice my dream if it meant protecting your smile. "

That was the only alternative to his shattered dream. The only silver lining to the storm he had willingly plunged himself into.

"And... even if you do decide to turn your back on me and abandon me... I would never be able to abandon you. I'll always be looking out for your well-being, no matter how distant we grow apart. I would still treat you not merely as my friend, and savior, but as the person I wished to care for and protect the most."

It is done. He had revealed everything to her, except for the identity of the second heir. He didn't have it in his heart to betray Rei Saionji too, no matter how distant they had grown apart.

Their future would be determined by Sagawa's next words. And no matter what conclusion she comes up with, Michio would have to live with it forever.

[BCOLOR=#000000]Leo called her a liar before leaving, but it wasn't like it took a genius to figure that out. Kira wasn't about to admit to any of these people how she'd lied. However, if it had been someone like Rei she might have done it if pushed. She could have agreed that she'd let her nature get ahead of her.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Yuuki was nice enough to poke Misheru for her, yet even that seemed to have no effect on the redhead. Kira groaned loudly, throwing her head back to look at the ceiling. This was not how it was supposed to go! She'd wanted a more emotional reaction than 'oh, it's fine, but you shouldn't bring up our potential relationship'. She would have enjoyed anger. Sigh![/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Wait.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]A mischievous grin spread across Kira's face as she got another idea. She wasn't comfortable with doing it, but surely, it had to be more efficient at getting a reaction?[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Come on, Yuuki-" Kira said, as she put her arms on the table and pushed herself up fast. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#000000]She pushed herself up with her arms.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Holy f*** that hurt like a- What followed was a series of expletives one worse than the other. She almost rivalled Nyoko when it came to colourful language. None of the swears were voiced though, and the only external sign that anything had happened to Kira was how her eyes went wide and she stared straight ahead of her for several seconds.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Let's sit with our dear classmates," Kira said, swallowing the pain, before picking up the tray. Even that was painful at this point. Maybe she should go to the nurse, or something. "We don't need to take up two tables if it's just us from our class, right?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Kira could have moved tables alone, but it seemed quite rude to leave Yuuki where he was without telling him. If he wanted to go do something else, she was cool with that.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]She sat down at the other table, next to Misheru, as close as she could get without sitting in her lap. Now for the part of the plan that she didn't like much herself, since it was a love song. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#000000]And she was going to play it loud so everyone in the cafeteria could hear it. [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#000000]Thankfully the song in question wasn't as cheesy or cliche as some of her worst offenders. Still, it might tarnish her reputation as a delinquent.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Kira grinned, trying to ignore the fact that others must be staring at her by now, while she almost leaned her head on Misheru. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]She could have said what she thought. 'Hey you clown, how about you go wipe my friend like she expects you to do? By god, you three have to be the worst yakuza I've ever heard of. Rei's got a stalker, and you're sitting here with Misheru? Just wow. I feel sorry for the future yakuza in this town. Are they considering outside hires yet?'[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]But that would have been rude, and it would have exposed Rei's secret. [October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Second Floor Hallways]

"You two can, um... just continue whatever it is you're doing. Later. Michio-kun... let's go then?"

Wait go where? Rei tried to look engrossed in her lunch as they passed, trying to look like she wasn't eavesdropping. Now she couldn't follow after them either. Not without showing that she'd been listening to their conversation. Rei sighed at her bad luck, slowing down eating her lunch instead of chasing after them. She'd hoped that she'd get some more information on what was going on with Sawaga before she'd been found out.

"Well... we gotta show Nyoko we get along or something, right?"

Huh? Dissent in the ranks? And Iori was part of the Red Pandas too?

"Well...hello there. Just....hanging around in the hallway I see."

"Huh? Oh, I am. The cafeteria is always too crowded, so I decided that hallways were better than nothing."

This was... Leo Kane, right? She'd seen him around a few times, but they'd never really talked at length. She didn't really know all that much about him outside of the fact that he was apparently a trouble stirrer.

"Any reason for that or do you just have a thing for hallways?"

"Yes, I love hallways and the way the floors are just so uncomfortable. Makes eating lunch a race against time."

Rei continued eating, slowly enjoying her lunch. She also adjusted her bag so that he wouldn't see the sticker on it.

"Speaking of uncomfortable, is there a reason you're avoiding going back to the classroom? Maybe a couple of characters that need to be avoided are standing in front of it? If that's the case I'm in the same boat."

She honestly couldn't see anyone getting along with those two. One was an idiot who favored the word fool too much and the other was a battle maid maniac. Avoiding them if at all possible was probably encouraged.

"You're welcome to join me in the hallway sitting if you want."

He could be the unknown person who was putting stickers on her stuff, but probably not. Still, it'd be nice to know more about the different people in class. Not to mention, he seemed more level-headed than the rest of the class. Plus, if she remembered right... he was there at the incident from last week when she passed by it. Maybe she could ask about it later, but for now she wouldn't mind some company.

[October 30th, Midday / Main School Building, Cafeteria to Class 2-A Hallway]

Sitting at the table and trying to enjoy her meal, Ayame finds those plans soon dashed in the ground. Gritting teeth and narrowed eyes, of course Kira would come over, and unlike a normal person, instead it would be in song. Setting her chopsticks down Ayame was about to be polite and offer Kira a seat, though the girl seemed intent on doing as she pleased, nearly sitting atop Misheru-san.

To make matters worse, while it was put kindly, Kira had seen fit to remind Ayame of her duty.

With a heavy sigh Ayame resigns herself to not finishing her meal, nor would she share her own opinion that Rei likely didn't even want to see her, picking up her tray she bows her head towards Misheru. "Ara, Ara, I don't think I want to know about these stories Misheru-san." Laughing politely Ayame tries to make her abrupt departure some what normal seeming.

"See you around, later!"

Stepping away from the table Ayame sorts her trash, briefly talking to a lunch lady Ayame was struck by an idea of sorts. Likely if Rei wasn't here she was near the class, or so she hoped. Alternating her own VR appearance she would try living up to her ninja moniker, attempting to project a duplicate of herself overlapped to her own body, with the after image looking aloof or keeping its eyes shot, the gym suit wearing girl, hoped it would lull whoever was harassing Rei-sama to becoming more brazen.

Should that fail she was tempted to trying out new skins, or seeing about a cloaking skin, she was a member of the Yakuza, playing by the rules was pointless. Taking note of Rei, it also seemed Michio was engaged in a heated discussion, catching the tail end of it, she wasn't sure what it was about. Leaning against a wall apart from everyone else the outer skin would give the impression of napping, all the while Rei was focusing her vision and hearing, she had other senses apart from her eyes, and counting on just one was foolish.

Biting her lower lip, even this idea was foolish and not enough, while Kira owed the debt, Nyoko might be more willing to negotiate or to act on her behalf, or at least she might could learn who was doing it and why. Looking through her past contacts Nyoko considers sending an email, but in turn decides to send a direct communication. She was Yakuza, if only a junior member, when crossed, they didn't exactly knock on doors and leave an appointment card. Opening a direct communication line the following would be sent directly to Nyoko.

"Nyoko-san, this is Sayoto, sorry if I have disturbed your lunch, but I need to have a talk with you. One of your members, or someone pretending to be one; Is making my job harder than it needs to be, I was hoping you could help me out a little here." Pondering if she should make threats, or lay out her preference for physical force, the request was good enough for now, if she had to press the issue, her unpaid debt still stood unpaid.

And with the trouble they last caused her, making enemies for no reason wasn't necessary, there was an order to be observed in all things...

[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, Second Floor Hallways]

Iori noticed that Kyouko was apparently angry when Sagawa left her. She also heard the blonde muttering something before turning her focus on the maid.

"Well... we gotta show Nyoko we get along or something, right?"

At this moment, Iori's expression started to lighten up. She was expecting some kind of challenge or retaliation from her considering what happened last night at the TTC.

"You care about the money...."

The maid does care about the money... from other sources. The pay as the Red Panda's lieutenant was nothing more than a pocket change.

"I care about... Yukimaru not becoming a lieutenant."

Iori narrowed her eyes. Despite being occupied with the hacking incident, she learned about the scuffle between the pirate and Yukimaru as the former tried to help with the handcuffing incident. It was nothing more but an embarrassment, considering Nyoko, the leader of the Red Pandas got cuffed with Kira by her own members.

"So... let's do our best together?"

Kyouko grinned at the maid. Iori felt that it was forced, yet at the time it looked pretty cute. It was her first time witnessing a grinning pirate.

"I already started by calling a Fool by her name instead."

The pink haired girl turned slightly away from Kyouko and covered her mouth, as she tried her best to hold back her laughter.

"Himura..." Iori tried to speak between her muffled laughs. "You're so---"

Then she cringed, while bursting out laughing like a crazy fool. It was quite loud too, reminiscent of her middle school years as a princess. The laughing fit lasted for a few seconds before Iori managed to regain her composure.

"Hahahahaha, oh dear...!" She smiled at Kyouko, panting. "It's... it's been a while since I have laughed like that."

Then the maid straightened herself up.

"You should smile more often, Himura-san." She commented. "It looks so cute and funny at the same time!"

"And I'm apologize about my sudden unruly behavior, but I just couldn't help it!"

Iori continued on, with another laughter in-between.

"For a moment, I thought you are going to start a war here. You sure know how to surprise someone."

Another smile.

"Anyway, sure. I accept your proposition on getting along."

[BCOLOR=#000000][October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Student Radio][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]She pulled down a slide on the control board to lower the volume of the music when the song neared its end. Raising another slide, she put her food down for a moment. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"That was the Source Code of Creation, and you're listening to Lunch with Nyoko," Nyoko said with a smile, speaking into the microphone. It was important to smile even when people couldn't see you. It affected her own mood if nothing else, and in turn, she should sound happy. "One of my favourite songs. And no, dear listener, it doesn't appear on the Kung Fu Panda soundtrack. Know we've had some complaints about my repetitive choice of music." She laughed, even if it felt a little forced. "That's why I'm considering taking requests from listeners."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]She didn't want to do it. It wouldn't be any less repetitive. It would just be a bunch of pop music, or anime stuff. Not something she wanted on one of her shows. There were already shows on the student radio which featured those tastes.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"So, Hisakawa, what's new with you..." Nyoko said, checking her private feed of rumours and news on her chip. It was updated several times an hour by her spies and Red Pandas, who saw it fit to post about practically anything under the sun. Nyoko preferred to leave most of it alone, unless there was something interesting which concerned a lot of students. "I guess I could talk about the weather, but I don't leave the studio enough to know if the sun's still there. You'll tell me if it disappears, won't you?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Several of the new posts were about a certain redhead disturbing the peace in the cafeteria. She rolled her eyes. Nyoko wasn't as interested in her as everyone else assumed. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Oh look, we've got…" Nyoko said, when she noticed better posts further down on her feed about the release of some new game. She got a call from Ayame in that moment. "Hold on, seems I've got a private caller. Maybe they want to be on the air, eh? We'll be back after this song, or I will be anyway."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]She'd no idea what Ayame wanted with her, but answered the call. She wouldn't have a video call when she was in the studio, since it was the only place in school where she didn't use her Virtu-ava avatar, but she could use her chip like a regular phone too.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Nyoko-san, this is Sayoto, sorry if I have disturbed your lunch, but I need to have a talk with you. One of your members, or someone pretending to be one; Is making my job harder than it needs to be, I was hoping you could help me out a little here."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Nyoko glanced at the Kung Fu Panda lunchbox on the table next to her. She'd finished most of her lunch, but it usually took her a long time since she had to eat between songs. Ayame probably didn't listen to the student radio if she didn't know. Shame.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Morita-san," Nyoko corrected Ayame as she called her by her first name. "It's not my lunch that I'm worried about. It's my club, but you've got a few minutes while the song plays."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]One of her members? Ayame sure was being vague, but was it intentional?[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"I'm sorry, but you're going to have to be more specific than that. A member of the student radio, or a member of the, uh, animal shelter volunteers?"[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Such a poor nickname for her Red Pandas, but at least it wouldn't be clear to anyone who might be listening in on their conversation what she meant unless they knew about them already.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]"I'll try to help you as well as I can."[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=#000000]Maybe she'd need to play two songs back to back, and deprive the listeners of her sweet talking voice. She'd regret it more than anyone.[/BCOLOR]

[fieldbox= Mizunohara Sagawa, turquoise, solid]
Sagawa%20Ico_zpspkldzqsy.jpg

[October 30th, Midday / Hisakawa Academy, Main School Building, School Rooftop]

Sagawa remained quiet as she listened to Michio simply... pour it all out.

He revealed everything about himself. The parts that she didn't know. Truly, he was in this whole Yakuza business up to his neck. Sagawa knew that Michio had it hard. She knew it just from hearing about what he would talk about so often. About needing to be frugal or more resilient in the face of the great load he and his family had. The knowledge was there, but the finer details of all that had only now just been told.

Ultimately what Kokoro had told to her was right. Michio Kamijou was under the thumb of a certain criminal group known as the Mikado. Just like Rei.

Michio intended to become the next boss. From the looks of it he wholeheartedly meant to do so. With that power that such a title brought about, he would be able to save everyone. Additionally, no matter what Sagawa thought of him, he would still care for her.

If she could reach art her arms now. And hold him, things would turn out just fine right? They'd be able to support each other, and someday, after overcoming all of those obstacles, Michio would be able to have the power to set everything right. What better revenge would it be to be able be in command of the people who wronged them?

But, there was something wrong with that ending.

"...So you say you don't care about how I feel towards you then, Michio-kun? That even if I hated you, you would still care about me above all else?"

Sagawa's conflicted eyes appeared from under her fringes.

"Hey Michio? Do you remember our promise? Back then, on that day, I said that I'd be fine with marrying you if you grew up to be a respectable man who could take care of me, right?"

She crossed her arms over her chest.

"I really meant that you know? Back then, I was charmed at how sincere you were. I liked that, unlike other people, you were direct and honest. With you, I didn't have to think hard about what your heart was saying. Every time, it said the same thing:

I don't want to be lonley.

I envied that. My heart wanted to say that too. But I could never find a way to say it in my own way. Instead I kept fumbling around, over and over. So in the end, I could only make friends with people like you and Kyouko. At some point, I started getting comfortable with that, thinking that since I had you guys, I didn't have to worry about opening up to anyone anymore."

"But, now I know... that was wrong for me to do. I've probably ended up making you worry on my behalf way too many times, as this point. You say that I'm the one who saved you, but you're wrong, Michio-kun. I'm not any better than those Yakuza who want to collect that debt money from you. I've leeched off your kindness this whole time without ever thinking twice about it."

Her eyes narrowed apologetically.

"I guess, the way you turned out, is something I ended up contributing to as well. That's why I'll set all of it right. Starting right now."

Sagawa stepped up towards him. Since she was so short in comparison to him, she raised both of her hands touching the sides of his face.

"You really did have it rough didn't you? You poor thing."

"...If I told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it Michio? If I told you it would make me love you would you do it?"

"Is that the extent of how much you would love me?"

Michio tensed up. In any other scenario it seemed to make sense to take her into his arms. That was the natural thing to do right? Staring into Sagawa's eyes, seeing the longing look in them. But he couldn't reach out to her. Even with her hands on his face, he couldn't reach out and embrace her. He still didn't know whether or not she'd push him away.

As easy as it was for him to get his thoughts out earlier, he suddenly felt conflicted. Something in his heart told him, that there was only room for yes or no. Anything more... anything more and he would only have his uncertainties torn through utterly.

[Yes]
[No]

The answers floated in his mind, and filled it entirely.

Would I challenge the world for her?
Would I burn the entire world for her?

Would I go that far for her?

Michio thought. And he pondered endlessly within the confines of his mind. Searching for the one word answer.

...

He confirmed it, responding:

[BCOLOR=#000000]"Morita-san,"[/BCOLOR]

"Ah, I'm sorry, Morita-san."

Ayame says in a sheepish reply, somewhat surprised that the other had taken the time to reply, just for the asking. Though that was likely the least of the annoyances she caused, faintly remembering something about a Radio show that the Red Panda leader hosted, Ayame was not a listener herself. She did at least have the presence of mind to keep the conversation vauge so neither would give most eavesdroppers anything to work off of.

[BCOLOR=#000000]"I'm sorry, but you're going to have to be more specific than that. A member of the student radio, or a member of the, uh, animal shelter volunteers?"[/BCOLOR]

"Student Radio? Oh no. It's with the animal shelter crew, they seem to like leaving stickers on a...let's say a responsibility I look out for is being a victim to a prank. Normally I would have no problem with this, but my ability is now being questioned because I can't prevent it as of now. It's rather minor, but I seem unable to catch them in the act."

Keeping in mind the student radio and her own threat assessment it was good to play this off the same way you would with a minor boss.

"Sorry if I've disrupted your show, guessing that's why you mentioned the Radio club ehh.."

Attempting to inflate the others sense of self wasn't really a thing Ayame was skilled at, or even did on most days, and while a sucker for praise herself, Aya didn't care much for formalities. Nonetheless it couldn't hurt to get on Nyoko's good side.

"I can meet up, or talk with yah later, if now is a bad time, wouldn't want to get in way of your lunch period more than I am. But you helping me out would be very welcomed."

Hopefully some consideration would pay off, Ayame reasons to herself. Putting a slight Edge on the very portion of her message, Ayame somewhat expected her own assistance in last weeks matter could be lacking for help in this one. But hinting at payment or a willingness to help with a request could open up a door to that aid.

"Yes, I love hallways and the way the floors are just so uncomfortable. Makes eating lunch a race against time."

"The only realistic option of course."

"Speaking of uncomfortable, is there a reason you're avoiding going back to the classroom? Maybe a couple of characters that need to be avoided are standing in front of it? If that's the case I'm in the same boat."

He nodded in agreement. The avoidment of the maid and one-word pirate was much to aid his sanity. He could tackle those two later, preferably at seperate intervals.

"You're welcome to join me in the hallway sitting if you want."

"Why thank you." He leaned against a wall. Hearing laughter from the duo of idiocy, Leo sighed gently. He was suprised he hadn't heard the sound of a virtu-ava battle commencing.

Still, until that pairing departed from where they were. He was here with Rei. Whose name brought up terrible decisions from Yuuki and the idea of a comical duo with Kira. If that wasn't what those two were in the frist place anyway.

He frowned slightly, he found the proble with Rei was dispiter the whole stoic attitude she had going on, He couldn't help but feel like approaching on the wrong topic ocould set her off somehow. It didn't help her that she had the whole 'slit your throat while you sleep' aura going around her.

Maybe that was another problem with the school, everyone was either crazy or creepy. A lot of times both.

He patted his hands against the wall, he was not one to judge by the cover. At least for long. Perhaps it was best to be blunt.

"Anyway, sure. I accept your proposition on getting along."

"Ugh, I think they're beginning to build back relationsips" He muttered, suddenly looking aghast. "Goodness, will they starting walking around in groups now?" He crossed his arms, the last thing he wanted was for him to start having to dive through windows to avoid them.

"I'm suprised nothing has exploded yet." He tapped his chin. "I mean, with everyone's favourite hacker back I thought there would be some sort of witch hunt, at least a war of some kind. Then again I suppose it's good that people are sensible enough to at least not do that."

He shrugged, swiping away his thought. "The way things are going, Michio is going to start going attacking people with an axe to find the culprit. " He smiled to himself, thinking of some potential scenarios.

The greatest thing about how Sagawa came back was that he could pretend everything was normal for a small while.

"Do you have anything particully amazing happen to you? I 've been given the pleasure of seeing Kira's...interesting fanfiction."
