BUT THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME A RED PILL.

THEY GAVE ME ORANGE.

Also the pharmacist apparently labeled these as "light brown". ...Yeahokay.

I mean I suppose orange will become brown if you darken it enough, but I don't think that's the color that people think of when they hear "light brown".
Paint them red then, with the blood of your enemies.

SO HEY

@Neobullseye @neobendium @Flame @AquaTheLita @Rithas @Minerva @TheTechnoVampire @The God Emperor Gwazi Magnum @chaosheart13 @Takumi @LuckycoolHawk9 @Raven

IT HAS BECOME ABUNDANTLY OBVIOUS TO ME THAT NO ONE EVER FUCKING READS MY RULES (or at least never remembers them). AND THAT'S KIND OF STARTING TO PISS ME OFF. :D I'm also realizing that it's not uncommon for newbies to jump in without having any clue what the RP is about -- and even long-time members often seem to forget important details about how the world of this RP works. It's a mess to deal with. So, I'm taking steps to remedy that.

AS YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED, THE OP LOOKS DIFFERENT. It occurred to me that having the rules list hidden away in a spoiler tab makes it very easy to completely forget about, and that having it out in the open is better. Yeah, it's big, but these are all things that I need people to know and that I don't want people to forget. Besides, maybe I'll get lucky and you'll scroll past something that catches your eye and makes you want to read more. (*sigh* I can dream, can't I?)

I also re-formatted the rules list, broke it up into easier-to-understand chunks, and re-worded a lot of them so that each bullet point isn't quite so long and rambly (which I think scared a lot of people away from reading the earlier version).

And, while I was at it, I also added a few new rules that were technically never official but that I kept telling people over and over anyway, so, best to put them in an actual list.

Also worth mentioning -- there is a note that says I won't look at a player's CS until they confirm that they've read the rules as well as all the other important information. Now, you may be thinking back to all the times you had to install a software update on your computer, and how easy it was to say that you read the terms of service even though no one ever actually does. Much like Apple, however, I have no better way of proving that you read everything. Moreover, I would certainly hope that I made the OOC a bit more readable and digestible than a terms of service agreement, and that asking you to understand the rules and world of the RP you're participating in isn't too much to ask of people. Plus, at the very least, hopefully this will remind people that a rules list exists, and that people should know what's in it. As of now, I will be requiring this any time someone submits a new CS -- regardless of whether they are a newbie or an existing member.

I also added a big, all-caps red-text statement telling people to read the goddamn info tabs.

Is all of this a bit shouty and authoritative? Perhaps. But the alternative hasn't been working out so well for me, so, no more Mr. Nice Kag. >:/

So I'm thinking of making 10 new Fandoms out of the blue and running havoc.
The rules say this is a Jump-In RP right?

Maybe use some HTML coding to change the font to 100 pixels and change the color to a pulsating neon red? That should draw everyone's attention (probably including Diana's :P )

Pshhh. What's a non-admin gonna do to stop me? :P

Also,

Me, earlier today: Oh, hey, today is Doctor Who's anniversary. I bet the BBC will be marathoning it all day. Maybe I'll watch some of that later.

The BBC: SHERLOCK. SHERLOCK MARATHON. SHERLOCK FOR THE REST OF THE DAY.

...Well. I didn't expect this.

That's still classified for now. :P
I'm assuming it will involve falling stars (AKA meteors) and locust swarms though. Also, four horsemen with technicolor horses.

...MAybe I should just go to sleep >_>.

Holy shit I forgot how much editing porn is in this show.

Also, while I'm re-watching Sherlock -- an update on the manga that I showed you guys earlier:

Yes, all the dialogue is, line-for-line, exactly the same. I noticed a grand total of two dialogue bubbles that were slightly re-worded, but it's a small enough difference that it's pretty easy to overlook.

On an interesting note, though, the camera angles were not exactly the same. So it wouldn't be accurate to call it a "shot-for-shot remake" like I had originally assumed, since a lot of shots are framed differently.

...

This is all very important information.

@chaosheart13 I said editing porn. Have you seen Sherlock? That is the only term I can think of to describe what a feast for the eyes the editing in this show is.

As a graphic design and broadcasting major, I am very pleased.

Also, speaking of good editing in shows -- can we take a moment to appreciate Firefly?

It is one of those rare instances of a sci-fi series that acknowledges the fact that sound doesn't travel in space. So, anytime there's a shot of like, spaceships exploding or something? No sound. Because an explosion in space would be silent, and Firefly gets that, and it's so rare to see a sci-fi show follow through with that.

... My mind's all over the place tonight. I apologize.

Eh, it's fine. It's cool that the show is being realistic about that

...Are you ok?
I am/was. It was just past midnight and I was starting to make silly posts instead of, you know, getting some sleep :P
