Everlyn had been laying on her bed, unable to sleep herself. Her long crimson hair spread out all around her, and she thought about all that was to come soon. She knew that she was going to have to find some good leads on team power, and she felt that she was the only one who would do it. But.. She had a lot of people who were willing to help fight them... She knew she wasn't alone but... At the moment, with her house full of people, she felt a bit alone. She drew in a deep breath, rolling on her side and closed her eyes, keeping just one light on to let Alakazam finish his puzzle, Delphox sleeping quietly on her couch. Then there was a knock, which made Alakazam rise to his feet and pull open the door. Everlyn watched as the protective phychic pokemon stood before Ari, blinking a few times before Eve called out quietly, "Alakazam, enough. Let her in for goodness sake." Eve sat up fully, still wearing her red V neck shirt and her pants, not having the desire to undress for bed yet. She smiled at Ari, tilting her head at her which made her collar ding as the metal loop hit against the metal ring. She asked, "Everything okay Ari? Did the TV down stairs not work? Slowking misplaces the remote sometimes..." She sighed before moving to stand up, letting out a small huff as she ran her hand through her hair.
--
Not expecting to see Alakazam Ari held her hands up like she'd just been caught doing something she shouldn't of been. "I'm sorry I didn't mean-!" Then suddenly Eve spoke up, causing Ari to look over at her in relief. Alakazam moved out of the way, allowing her entry. She accepted, coming into Eve's room and gently shutting the door behind her. Ari really didn't want to wake anyone up if they were sleeping. Her hands still clung to the door nob... She didn't know if she should really be here. A bit hunched over with her fingers on the door, Ari turned her head and looked over her shoulder. "No, nothing like that... I just couldn't sleep so... So..." Suddenly she felt her face get hot and she knew she was blushing, something that got her even more flustered knowing. "I-I just thought we could talk!" She said a tone louder than she should have.
--
Everlyn tilted her head back and forth, and then nodded and said, "Well, I know I am not going to sleep for a while, so I'd love to chat a bit." She looked to her two pokemon in the room, giving them a nod which they knew means she wanted privacy. She let her pokemon clear the room, letting Ari feel a bit more comfortable hopefully. She laid on her side, patting the bed and then smiled, her red eyes looking into Ari's purple ones. "Well, I am really glad you could stay. I know Freya had to go and work her bakery, but I am sure she'll be back tomorrow once things close. How's things with your new pokemon going? I... I'd like to go catch some more with you sometime, if you'd like. I've been exploring Seloh for a long time so, if there is a pokemon you're after, I'll know where to look!" She smiled, looking away from Ari to look out her window for a moment. She caught Salamance doing her rounds, flying around to make sure no one was approaching the house. She smiled, glad that she had pokemon that cared about her and her guest's safety so much.
--
"W-well..." Ari looked away when Eve laid across her bed, but wondering eyes still lingered a bit and she noticed Eve's beckoning pats next to her. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to tell herself to just have a normal conversation. Ari walked over and took a seat next to Eve on her bed. To no surprise it seemed even more comfortable than hers. "They're fine I guess... I don't really feel like they're mine yet though." She really did think that was a nice gesture that Eve didn't need to do, and they were really cute pokemon. Suddenly she felt a little embarrassed in thinking in such a way and got stern, stiffening her back and looking down at Eve from her side of the bed. "You didn't have to do that anyway. I know you think I need a team, but I already have one!" Ari said, putting a hand down on the mattress and leaning forward towards Eve. She held up two fingers. "A two man team of winners!"
--
Everlyn reached out, laying a hand on Ari's knee and shook her head. "I don't think you need the other Pokemon. However, its good to have options, no matter the situation. When we start fighting Team Power, if Ore goes down, you should have others you can count on, right? That is important for sure. So, just at least try to humor the idea, okay?" She smiled, pulling her hand away slowly, closing her eyes for a moment as she thought. She sat up so she wasn't laying on her side, her bust bouncing just a bit from the sudden movement. She looked over to Ari, her hair cascading down her body as she leaned back on her hands. "So, have you enjoyed your stay so far? I must say its different having so many people staying in my home. But.. Its really nice. Having people around makes me not feel so... Well... Alone." She gave a weak smile, her red eyes looking away after a momnet, not wanting Ari to feel like she needed to do anything about her feelings.
--
Ari got a confused look on her face, her head tilted a little and her mouth flattened. "Uh, how can you feel alone? You have like- a million pokemon and this awesome mansion and money." Ari, feeling more comfortable now, likely because of Eve's open feelings, moved over and sat next to Eve. "Besides, everybody loves you. Even my mom likes you... My... Mom." Ari said slowly, trying to let that sink in.
--
Everlyn nodded, smilling a little as she looked over Ari. "Well... Those things are true, and my Pokemon are very much my friends but... Most everyone just looks at me as the Champion. They look up to me because of my skill, wealth, power.. I... I know I am important to the community, I love Seloh with all my heart. But, I guess I have been feeling alone because I don't have many people who want to know me as.. Well Eve. Not just, Everlyn, Champion of Seloh. Ya know?" She tilted her head as she begged her question, blushing a bit as Ari mentioned her mom. She blushed a little then nodded and said, "Its true, Freya does like me, but she respects people who can hold her own. I think its... A different kind of like, ya know?" She wasn't about to discuss her relationship with Freya, but what she said most ceratinly wasn't untrue.
--
Ari blinked a few times in confusion. "You think she likes you because your strong?" Ari was a little surprised that Eve came to that conclusion, but the more she thought about it the more it seemed like the first thing other people would think. After all, they didn't know her like she did. "Mom hates people stronger than her, so if you really did beat her in a battle or something and she still talks to you then you must be a really good person. She told me once that it isn't about being strong, but about accepting yourself and standing by your own strength." Ari looked over to Eve and smiled. "She looks at everyone, even her pokemon, through that." Ari crossed her legs, sitting indian style and putting her hands between her legs. "If it makes you feel any better, I don't care what anyone says they are. Who cares about something as silly as a title? A badge doesn't make you stronger or better than anyone else." Ari said. She did feel a little like she was trailing off from the reason she even came though, so she threw in a little something at the end under her breath. "Or how good of a kisser you are." She said under muffled breath, looking around the room with red cheeks.
--
Everlyn was most certainly surprised by her last comment, and it made her blush for sure. She looked over to Ari, blinking a few times and let out her hand run through her hand nervously. She cleared her throat and said, "I... I didn't think that was something you'd think highly of me.. I am... Well still sorry about putting you through that.." She looked down, her hands clawing into her pants as she tried to think what to say next. She let out a small breath, then nodded and said, "But, I guess its good that you look at people that way. It means you look to see people for who they truly are. That... Well that's important." She smiled, looking up to look into Ari's eyes, a small smile on her features.
--
Ari shot up straight and looked over at her, her face red and flustered. "No no no! Don't think I'd hate you or anything! I don't hate anybody! You'd have to do something really terrible to get on my bad side." Ari, who was now just trying to make herself clear and open, started rocking back and forth. "I mean... I might of over reacted back then." Ari let out a nervous laugh, anything to try and defuse her own embarrassment. "I mean, here I am at my age and I don't even know the first thing about kissing or any of that stuff." She said, her hand reaching up and scratching the back of her head.
--
Everlyn shrugged a little and said, "That.. Well that isn't really a bad thing Ari. Some people would probably look at me as a slut for being so.. Well sensual. Its not like you're an old lady or something, you still have plenty of time to learn that stuff." She couldn't help but smile, feeling like she was actually on a good foot with Ari. She even said that she didn't hate her which was a really good thing, but on top of it, she even said she might have over reacted, which means that she wasn't mad at her for what happened. Eve smiled, then looked up to Ari again and said, "And if I may be honest, for someone who says they have such little experiance, you were quite the kisser yourself."
--
Ari's head quickly turned towards Eve. She held up a hand lazily and pointed towards the liar and openly called Eve out. "We both know I just stood their like an amateur and let you suck my face..." The longer Ari dwelt on what she just said the more embarrassed she felt, less now from what happened but more because she just stood there at the time and couldn't even kiss someone back. The thought of how awful a kisser she really was made her feel a little less and less like bringing it up again.
--
Everlyn shook her head and said, "No! Trust me, I have had far worse kisses. That is for sure." Everlyn smiled at Ari, the blush on her cheeks starting to deepen. She let out a deep breath, then cleared her throat and said, "There isn't anything wrong with being an amature, you can only get better with practice, right?" She smiled, leaning back on her hands again to get more comfortable, her push pushing against her shirt as she stretched her neck from side to side, her long hair swaying from one side to the other as she did so.
--
Ari scoffed, replying as if by reflex. "Ya, right-o. What am I gonna practice on, a substitute doll?" A light chuckle came out of her chest, not realizing the implications she might of made from such a comment.
--
Everlyn blushed, barely able to believe what she heard come from Ari. It was like a clear invitation, not something she had expected. So, she reached out, taking Ari's hand and smiled. "If, you want someone to experiment with I... I'd be more than willing to be availible. Besides... Who better to practice with than someone like me, right?" There was a bit of darkness in her words, her smile wasn't as bright as it normally was, her red eyes looking down at their hands instead of staying locked with Ari's eyes.
--
There was a moment of pause after Everlyn expressed her interest, something Ari wasn't prepared for in the slightest. She looked at her, wide eyed and dumbfounded. Almost instantly Ari's hands whisked themselves away from Eve's hands and she held them up. "I... Uh... Wow." Ari started to laugh lightly behind her impending nervousness. The idea of doing that again with Eve... She couldn't tell if she was embarassed or excited. Maybe both. "I don't know..." She said, lowering her arms. A part of her thought things would be different now in this situation. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad... Maybe it was time she tried being more of an adult.
"Hrmmmm.... HRMMMMM." She grunted, her eyes shut tight and her face in a grimace as she tried hard to think of what she should say or do. After rocking back and forth a few more times in her PJ's Ari reached forward, embracing Eve in a big hug and started to let it all pour out. "Thank you thank you thank you Eve! I don't wanna be a loose girl or anything so I tried to forget about things like this but after you kissed me I just couldn't stop thinking about it! I thought I was a naughty girl or something and I was gonna be terrible but maybe if you helped me I could get it out of my system, I don't know, maybe find a husband someday? Do I even want a husband? What if he thinks I'm a loose girl or something?" Ari droned on and on, feeling happy that she finally had someone to talk about something like this with. She couldn't talk to Freya, let alone her father about something like this...
--
Everlyn blushed, the hug after Ari spent so much time thinking about it made her feel like she had messed up all over again. She let out a calm breath, hugging Ari back. She was starting to ramble on and on, but she let her ramble and get her throughts out. She was afraid that having experiance would make her look like a loose woman. She couldn't help but look away, only thinking what Ari or anyone else must think of her. She also registered that Ari wanted a husband, so she was just someone to experiment with. That.. Was probably for the best. Eve pulled Ari back just enough so that she could kiss Ari on the cheek, then pulled her in a way so that Ari was straddling Eve's lap.
"No one is going to think you're a loose woman Ari. You're far too strong and adorable for that. Its natural to want to explore your desires and wants with others, I promise. Anyone who says otherwise is still living in the stone ages." She smirked, then slowly laid back, pulling Ari down a bit as she did so. She smiled at her, biting her lip then let out a small breath. "Alright... Well, I want you to do what is comfortable, alright? I'd never judge you, and if you do something that doesn't feel good, I promise to let you know, alright? I expect the same from you." She smiled, letting her hands lay above her head, looking into Ari's eyes, waiting to see what would come next.
--
The two spent the rest of the night together, Ari falling asleep hugging Everlyn tight from behind after a long night of "experimenting" together. Everlyn hadn't really been close to someone on an intimate level in quite some time, and.. Even though Ari was still unsure about everything, she couldn't help but feel that things were heading in the right direction. She closed her eyes, her hands moving to her waist where Ari's hands were, holding them until she finally found the comfort of sleep.
