Mettaton scoffed, looking genuinely hurt by this point, even if he was still trying to make drama out of it.

"Is a nuisance all I am to you? Hmph!~ Your harsh words sting worse than your cold shoulder." he spat, ripping one of his arms out to slap Kyle with.

"HK was right, you humans are all a bunch of worthless meatbags."
Kyle's head snapped to the side and his body lurched backward, the man stumbling a few steps away from Mettaton after the slap againt the side of his face. He hadn't expected the blow, even as the robot had removed one of its arms. Kyle Hyde had been slapped by a robot. He would have laughed it wouldn't irritate his stinging cheek.

Face flushed both from the blow and his rising anger, Kyle seethed and fixed Mettaton with a glare. The ex-detective knew just about anyone here could kill him if he so wished, so he made the effort to avoid stepping back toward Mettaton as if to threaten violence. "Better to be a meatbag than a cold metal imitation of one," he said, his voice close to a raspy growl. "You're a freak."

Sarah's attention was focused on the robot as it, or she, slapped the man. She still had her gun in hand, and she was more than prepared to fire on the robot, but realized it was just a playful sort of act, or was it a threat? Either way, the man didn't seem to take it too harshly, so she kept herself from intervening. She always thought robots would be set in their ways, one way or another, not this... stopping just short of what it probably wanted to do.

She let herself relax, for now. That was a very unusual machine, she thought.

After the rather grimy experience of death, Izayoi would find himself in a dark void, and for a moment, he felt that his senses and his powers were back in full power by now. However, he wasn't alone, as more of those greenish feline eyes stared at him.

do-cats-see-in-color-6762-pic1.jpeg
"So someone finally grew big enough of a spine to attack me, huh?" he murmurs, ignoring the cat's eyes for now as he walks right into them, passing between several pairs as he does, before reaching out and clenching his hand for a moment "Well, now I know what death is like, it's remarkably boring..."

He swings his hand around, smashing into several of the cats for a moment, before coughing loudly "Bernkastel, if you're going to betray me, you shouldn't send your signature minions to do it"

"That's one way to get me to kick your ass!"

Almost like a bolt of pure light, he'd star kicking and punching away at every pair of eyes he could see, his hands and legs a blur as he pummels the unseen cats into oblivion

He just hoped people paid attention to his note
He could do without that maestro getting away and slipping through folk's fingers

This statement was a little harder to accept, but the child wasn't complaining. Well, actually, she wasn't exactly doing much of anything. She had finally stopped crying(for the time being), and seemed a tad more focused and aware than before. But she still didn't seem very talkative - she just rocked slightly on her heels, staring at the ground in silence. One could only wonder what had happened to her to make her so emotionally broken..

@Crimson Spartan @Lizzy

Lucina looked behind Chrom to the little girl who was standing there. She wasn't to good with children, but maybe it'd be worth a shot trying to talk to her? It seemed Deedee wasn't much of a social butterfly and Lucina herself could understand to an extent.

Lucina kneeled down next to Deedee. She might as well try and talk to someone. Though she did place a vote for Mettaton while no one was looking. But hey, maybe her mind would change later? Who knows.

"Hello there, little one." She greeted. Deep down she felt like she'd mess something up since she wasn't-in her opinion-very good with children.

She just hoped things went well for them both.

Gordon would silently watch as the crowd began throwing accusations and declarations left and right, like a courtroom. Needless to say, Gordon didnt contribute much to the conversation beyond turning his head to look at the people talking. In the end, it seemed like the awfully flamboyant android known as "Mettaton" was the one for the murder. Gordon grumbled silently at the fact that he didn't factor in synthetic hands or legs, it seems like every machine is a murderer now-a-days.

With that said, Gordon would cast a vote off to Mettaton...by pointing at him.

Morgan allowed her to smile as she slipped away her knife and gave the pirate a firm handshake, rather strong for someone her size, "Well met, Captain Kenway, it's an honor to meet a captain of a sailing vessel. My name is Morgan, tactician in training." Didn't he mention someone by that name, Kenway...? Could this be the Ultimate Pirate that my parents once met...? A spark of recognition could be seen in the girl's eyes as she stared up at the older man, one that may be familiar to Kenway if he was who she thought he was.

@Gummi Bunnies @Jeremi @Unagi
A definite feeling of pride could be seen in Edward's eyes when the girl said it was an honor to meet him. "The honor's mine entirely, Morgan. Now, let's go find out what sorts of trouble's brewing outside, shall we?" He said, hearing some commotion coming from outside the mansion. Giving a nod to the other woman in the room, he put his hood back over his head and escorted the two of them outside, where they'd find another dead body.

...

After a quick inspection of the body of the young man, it was clear that he was strangled to death. Once again lowering his hood, he said, more to himself than anyone around him: "Well that's one less player in the games, I suppose." He smirked slightly in that disgusting way pirates do.

@Anyone who might have heard that.

As Izayoi was able to fend off the cats with little to no problems, they also seemed to be an endless amount of them. Luckily for him, it seemed that he wasn't alone in fighting these hordes off, Dlanor rushing in and using her Red Key to do her share of the battle.

Earlier...

Getting back up on his feet, Edward was quite shocked by the girl's sudden violent behavior. He looked at the other woman and nodded. "My gratitude... Though I must you, you have a rather... unusual look about you... lass?" He said, questioningly calling her a lass. He wasn't actually quite sure. He then extended his hand forward for a shake. "Captain Edward Kenway. Pleased to make your acquintance. And who might you two... lovely... ladies be?"

Continued from here.

I cannot say, and I will not say
That he is dead- . He is just away!

By the time that everyone would make it to the Kuwadorian mansion, it seemed like something unpleasant was waiting for them right outside the fencing that surrounded the smaller mansion.

For those in the Kuwadorian mansion at the time, Lion was signalled by the sound of people nearing the mansion from the outside.

378

"... w-what's going on outside?" Ignoring the fact that they were dealing with a stab wound from a rusted pair of scissors embedded into their torso, Lion pressed towards the outside of the Kuwadorian mansion. Well, for those inside, they might as well follow Lion out to see what was up.

342

"So you weren't kidding when you said that this was a Murder Game..." the detective mumbled as many of the others that were with her or Kanon would come across the dead body of Izayoi. Left leaning against the metal gates that surrounded the Kuwadorian mansion, it was safe to say that he was strangled to death. Though, Erika seemed to add on with what she was saying.

"... wait, this guy was a detective? I thought I was supposed to be the only one here with the Detective's Authority!"

Even with that information said, it was time to vote for that possible traitor this time around.

Undyne wrinkled her face at the sight of the dead Izayoi she'd stand uncharacteristically quiet as she listened to who people thought could have done it, among the facts that the human boy called Crono seemed to be pinned as the Maestro.

The one being accused was someone that hit quite close to home.

Aya would see the navy blue color, but she wasn't convinced. It was bad enough that she and Kyle were tricked by HK the last time a victim was murdered. The child did not want to fail again. She was determined to help Kyle in seeking out the traitor, listening very closely to what Kyle had asked Mettaton in regards of being a "theatrical" being.

"Is it also possible that you could be hiding pink lipstick?... HK did the same to us last time..."

She wasn't going to let that go even if it wasn't her fault. She knew that it wasn't Kyle's fault either as they had mistrusted the crowd.

"And if you believe that you're innocent... could you tell us who you think is a traitor?"

She also wanted to make sure no one else had pink lipstick. Aya softly yelled towards the crowed as she had asked a question.

"Who all here wears pink lipstick?... I do believe Mettaton may be the traitor, but it never hurts to find another possibility..."

Mettaton huh? While Undyne didn't like him she didn't want to believe that he could've done this.

To the question of lipstick she'd turn towards Aya.

"Do I look like a gal who uses lipstick?"
Zombina meanwhile would be trying to find Herbert West...which wasn't really hard since he had his almost 7 foot tall murderous zombie bodyguard with him. As she got closer she'd call out to the Doctor. "Oi! There you are! Still in one piece I see." Zombina was quite relieved to see that that was the case...though she really couldn't tell why.

DIO chuckled.
"One of two possibilities..." He began, speaking low enough for Pucci and Yuna.
As he listed the scenarios, he began to remember his days in law school, where he graduated as valedictorian.
"One." He began, raising a finger. "The culprit is indeed 'Mettaton' and it changed its lipstick in haste. Or two..."
Another finger.
"The culprit is another, using a method that would point to the machine but used the wrong type of lipstick.

"So here we are again, Buu! Time for you to work the same magic you did last time! Show us all who the killer is?" Mr Satan thrusted his mighty hands against his hips, flexing out his torso, revealing the mighty forest of check hair that lay upon it "Go on then! Put us out of our misery!" A bellowing chuckle was unleashed from his bearded mouth.

Buu folded his arms and looked towards the heavens, his mind completely wrapped in though. "Hmmm...Buu no sure....Buu think robot may be working with other robot..." His logic, was of course, flawed by his experience; he had spent the majority of his conscious life in a time before humanity and a time before space travel, and thus had no idea what a robot was, and, like most beings, he had a subconscious level of fear for things he did understand. The only tales of machines he had heard about originated from his ear-dropping on the words of Sarah Connor, and, of course, from the lips Mr Satan, and his recallings of the way(s) in which he vanquished the evil android Cell. It was clear to see that his idea of a "Robot" was almost always a being intent on the destruction of humanity.

But another idea was brewing in the mind of Majin Buu. What if his point of view was incorrect? The last time his fellow 'Prisoners' had been wrong about the murder's identity, the person on question had vanished, and still hadn't returned. To be entirely honest, Detective Buu thought that he too was dead. The fact that he was personally correct with his suspicions was irrelevant.

Although the Majin was not the kind of being too feel guilt (it simply wasn't an emotion that existed within in him), he was, however, a being of doubt. Prior to the expulsion of evil from the being's body, the Majin had killed billions of humans upon a whim; he had believed it to be a game, and one he intended to win. He was sadistic. Even after his retirement from murder, he was still reminded of his mistakes by his mentor, and, at times, the martial art's champion's regret had partially worn off upon him. These times, however, were few and far between; the majority of the time he didn't have to capacity for caring, let alone self doubt. Yet, he was feeling both now, both towards the being he had wronged and those within the room.

But if he did vote, he would be earth hero, just like Mr Satan! He could have parades! They could name a day of the week after him! They would print his face on novelty T-Shirts and mugs! It would be glorious! But at what cost? He didn't want to see people get hurt anymore, especially not the people who no longer fled at the sight of him (well, he didn't exactly care about Mark, but he was dead now, so he was no longer a concern of Buu's). Was the glory worth the hurt it would cause? Mr Satan was always telling him to be kind, but now that teaching was conflicting another his latest piece of advise...
What to do?

"Buu Vote Nobody!"
Mr Satan was flabbergasted. The room was spinning; he was feeling faint!
"Voting for nobody Buu? B-ba-but that's against the rules! Y-y-you can't just give up the reward...I mean the chance to become a hero for..."
He was cut of by an an angered Majin Buu.
"No! No! No! No! Buu no care about game anymore! Game mean! Game get people hurt! Buu go play patty cake with nice girl instead!"

Ignore the rest of Mr Satan's ramblings, Majin Buu wandered off to find Deedee and to continue playing Patty Cake, voting for nobody

Quite frankly, Deedee didn't seem to want to play patty cake. She didn't seem to understand the point of it. What good was sitting around clapping your hands together? Besides... The child didn't like singing. Singing reminded her of the people from her village... And she didn't want to reminisce that at all. So, she just continued staring at the ground quietly, her blue eyes hollow and sorrowful. Eventually, she looked up again, but only when she was addressed. She didn't recognize the woman speaking to her, but she at least responded...

"Alright! Got the Kakeras fueled up! Stay close to me!"

Ange held her Kakera closely, letting it's magic do it's... well, magic. Before the felines could get a change to devour them whole, a brief flash of light consumed them, and soon took them back to the Metaworld hideout that Ange had with Willard and Dlanor.

"That was quicker than I expected. Also, while you were gone, Dlanor decided to go and fetch over the other eliminated player. It's odd that the Game is going by this quickly... so it's easy to tell that the Game's become one of a Murder Game."

At least for now, they were back in this safe haven, until it came to the fact that they would have to be on the move again, searching for those anomalies within the Metaworld. The potential people responsible for the strange happenings in this so-called "Witch's Game."

@Gen. Gwazi Senpai @Forrest
"What else did you expect? People die all the time in these Murder Games, and we can only expect it to go at a faster rate than ever with this one where those voted on are killed even" Gilgamesh stated before continuing "Now that we got the boy though, do you have any plans on where to go next? I tire of simply standing around and herding every soul killed in this game!".

"Dlanor will handle that department. On the contrary, we got ourselves a few anomalies going about in the Metaworld from what our fellow Creator Witch says. They shouldn't be hard to spot. One has features of cat ears and twin tails. The other has features of fox ears and nine tails. They have traces of a Witch's magic on them, and its close to the Witch of Miracles," Willard simply explained the rundown of their task. Seemed simple enough, that they only needed to locate and eliminate the "anomalies."

"If this is it, I suggest that you go on ahead, Willard. Bernkastel is already suspicious that I'm involved in opposing the Game. It's simply a part of your job to be doing this," Ange sighed as she vouched to stick around in their hideout, but also mentioned something to Mark,"... You have someone waiting for you... someone to protect, right? I can help you get back to that someone... but we both need to meet up with Featherine for her assistance as well."

Ange found Mark's parallel of him leaving Deedee waiting is almost like how Ange's brother, Battler, left her waiting when the Rokkenjima Serial Murders Incident occurred in her Fragment on 1986. She wasn't going to let this happen again with two others, she felt like she should resolve it before the worst is to come to the little girl.

Meanwhile, Willard didn't seem to use those Kakeras that the others had, using his sword again to make a small rip in dimensions, like a portal, into a random hallway in the Metaworld.

"People might recognize you out of the crowd... both of you being the eliminated players of the Game. You won't notice, but this portal should alter the effects of your held Kakeras. They'll make your presence unknown to other Metaworld beings, as if you never existed for those that would otherwise see you. It will only wear off when you make contact with anybody else. Just... stay close to my lead, and I'll give the signal to engage the anomalies when I lead them out to a private part of the Metaworld. Makes sense?"

If they would understand that explanation of their task once more, Willard would walk through the spacial rip, taking a moment to allow Gilgamesh and Iskander to follow his lead.

Mark, being silent most of the time, did happen to hear what Gilgamesh stated. Killed.....so, I'm dead? That...explains a lot, actually. He mulled the idea over in his head. At least the sickness was gone. He didn't have to worry about clawing his eyes out, or turning into a feral animal and forgetting his loved ones.

However, at the thought of the words loved ones, Mark remembered what was really important. He may have been dead, but this didn't exactly seem like normal circumstances of passing away. Perhaps there was a way to get back? To protect her? As Ange spoke, his hopes went rampant. It could happen! He just needed this...Featherine, was it? One of the denizens of this strange place, no doubt.

His face still rather blank despite the "good news," Mark nodded after Ange spoke. "Alright. Let's get to that, then."

"Alright... then let's call over the Creator Witch. We can't afford to leave this place unattended, but we can at least bring our method of help over," Ange sighed as she took out a small butterfly charm, and in return, that charm dissolved and began to form into another person by the looks of it. Pretty much the opposite of one would expect from the title "Creator Witch," but her grand appearance, Featherine's appearance, would be something new for Mark, as if this Game wasn't weird enough.

Well. Certainly some interesting people around these parts, weren't there? For a whole two years, the only people Mark had seen were dirt-ridden, hide-wearing survivors with grizzled faces and quiet dispositions. Now, there was no end to all these freakily garish people...eh, it was almost a nice change. Barely paying mind to how Featherine, the "Creator Witch," had appeared from out of a butterfly charm, Mark coughed awkwardly, debating whether or not to wave hello.

"Uh...hey there! Ange here, um, may have said that you can help me reunite with the living?" His voice was both hoarse and choked up by the ridiculousness of that statement, but you could tell he wanted it.

@Gen. Gwazi Senpai @Forrest
"So we're to stay silent? Unnoticed by anyone? Hmph! This is going to feel like being Assassin!" Gilgamesh complained, irritated by the need to be quiet. But he understood the necessity of it so that was the most he bothered complaining as he traveled through the portal opened to the group. It would be, interesting to say the least for Gilgamesh to have to try to not draw attention to himself for a change.

Iskander on the other hand seemed a bit concerned when asked to be silent, he didn't verbally complain like Gilgamesh did however. He was just worried because he is naturally so loud and noticeable by nature, but hopefully these gems would do most of the work as he stated "I'll be as quiet as an arrow in the sky", and then shouted out to Mark before going through the Portal "If you see Diarmuid tell him Iskander says hi!".

@The Great Detective @Forrest

373

"Ah, yes... you were one of the first to be eliminated from the Witch's Game, the Game supposedly composed by the Endless and Golden Witch Beatrice... I could do so with ease, for I have the ability to rewrite you back into the story of this Gameboard... But I'm not the type to give you such a luxury and gift so easily."

Just by the words of the Creator Witch being tricky on the matter of effectively sending mark back into the Game, Ange clearly wasn't amused by Featherine's direction on this matter.

314

"Lady Featherine! This is a serious matter! This isn't an average Witch's Game. People that die in the Gameboard, when the Game is over with, they'll be unable to reunite with those that lived throughout the damn thing... I don't care if we have to do something for you, but you HAVE to do something!!"

The Witch of Resurrection, the Beatrice of 1998, clearly didn't want to pass over the fact that they could make a big difference by bringing someone back to the living Players, so Ange gave her two cents into the matter before waiting to see what the Creator Witch's response for this was...

"... as expected of my miko, you bear strong words. Which is why I selected you to be my new miko. I suppose you can do something in return for my own favor... I don't get that bored as other Witches, but all Witches do have their moments of boredom... and so do I. This may be a lot to ask of you, Mark... but I've gotten a mild interest for these Murder Games... so I will give you the task of re-enacting a past murder... and after that, I shall grant you the reaccess into the Game."

Ange went silent when she heard this, but looked over at Mark to see if he was fine with this.

Once through the portal before it closed, Willard would lead them into one of the many hallways within the endless mansion atmosphere that the Metaworld projected. All sorts of figures could be seen chatting away, gossiping about the current ongoing Witch's Game. So while the Game had much deeper conflicts within, it was nothing more than a form of entertainment for the countless amounts of Metaworld beings within.

Before they would make a turn into yet another hallway that looked exactly similar to the one they were currently in, Willard would get pulled over a bit by one of the present Furniture.

346

"... U-Um... Mister Willard, sorry to interrupt you or anything like that... sir, but we've been hearing rumors that someone's been trying to hijack the Game. Lady Beatrice and Lady Bernkastel requested me to find you and Dlanor for the task... b-but... um, it doesn't seem like Dlanor is here with you?"

For now, it seemed like this servant girl didn't notice Gilgamesh and Iskander, which was good, Willard's special trick to their held Kakeras actually worked. As for handling the young Furniture trying to sway his attention away from his current hidden task.

350

"Chiester 45, don't you have a post to guard? Such as preventing people from sneaking into the Game Room where the Witches are orchestrating the Game at this moment? It's unlikely that Lady Beatrice would send you off, one of her trusted Furniture of the Chiester Squadron, to call over the very two Inquisitors that have the general task that pits us against Witches in the first place. If Lady Beatrice has a whole change of heart, fine, but it's better off that you go off and handle your business before doing those favors..." Willard sent an authorative glare down on Chiester 45, resulting with her realizing the contradiction in the logic for this "task."

268

"A-Ah! Again Mister Willard... my apologies! Maybe Lady Beatrice requested this for another time! I'll... I'll be returning to my post now! Sorry for the intrusion!" 45 immediately apologized for a blunder that technically wasn't her fault, and ran off to return to her guarding post. Well, with that problem out of the way, Willard would keep on walking through an amount of hallways before coming across two people that stood in an empty hallway away from the crowds from before.

"... that's our two anomalies there... you know what to do..."

Willard gave a hushed whisper as he verbally gave the signal on what to do from here, leaving the two Servants on their own accord as the former Inquisitor couldn't afford to be seen by the two anomalies for this. Walking back the way they came to blend with the crowds, Gilgamesh and Iskander had themselves two anomalies to eliminate.

"When do you think mommy is going to come and pick us up?"

tumblr_inline_nbi35iusNG1sju14e.jpg

"... soon enough, Chen. She won't keep us waiting forever."

@Gen. Gwazi Senpai

"Indeed, but with all of her precious little kittens here to try and use me as their scratching post..."

He frowns slightly, reaching into his pocket and producing a small blue card, before attempting to summon his Water Sapling

"I'm doubting she plans to help me out in return for my service"

If the tree appeared, he'd give it's pot a kick, hoping that it would produce water

Cats hate water, after all

@The Great Detective
It seems as if the cats actually hated water, so they weren't that deadly... especially when the owner wasn't around.

Dlanor kept it up with killing off the cats one by one with her Red Key.

-Chapter 2 Update-
"Left Breathless"

Anxious beads of sweat began to form on Ilona's forehead. This situation didn't feel right. It was possible that everyone was on track with Mettaton when it came to voting for the traitor, but there was someone far more important that everyone needed to vote for: the Maestro. Presently, Ilona knew that this Maestro hadn't the faintest clue as to who the investigators were, and that she happened to be one, but that didn't mean she could stay hidden forever. Staying hidden, and keeping safe, as far less important than sharing any information she had that could've been useful to the others, namely, the identity of the Maestro.

Ilona, along with the other investigators, had somehow manage to get lucky and discover the identity of this Maestro. Stepping forward, and hoping the others would listen to her, the princess approached the others. She made sure to plant herself nearer to Kyle in particular, hoping that since he had trusted her to record information while she had lost her voice that he would possibly be most willing to aid her.

jECaxL7.png

"Listen up, everyone! I know you believe Mettaton to be our current traitor, at least, most of you. However, we need to be focusing on our vote for the Maestro! I'm a detective, and together my comrades and I have discovered the identity of this Maestro. Friends, turn your votes upon Crono, for he is the Maestro! It is not a lie. The note you found was telling the truth! Do this now, before he yet again aids Beatrice in her scheme!"

Ilona's voice never wavered, but on the inside her heart was pounding. What she had just done was very dangerous. If for some reason the group didn't believe her, the princess knew for certain she would end up being the next victim in this treacherous game. The blonde young woman glanced at Kyle and then at the others, hoping they would truly believe her.
