Oh, it's not permanent. It's only that bad for a moment, though it would drive a normal human insane if she, say, impaled them. The pain is multiplied from the base, but as a result it fades proportionally faster too.

It is the "accumulation of the fear and reverence that the people held for Nobunaga after death." Which was quite a lot. While in the reality marble, her Demon King protection becomes larger and more powerful. All her stats are increased considerably as well.
