Starr worked from slightly above the stage, from where the most angles could be found as she looked for a shot.

The uniforms tended to shoot at the others, who came straight for them. The talking one, the young one, the cold one, the other one went to different sets of uniforms.

The talking one was in a fast tangle with many uniforms, no shot there.

The young one was charging, and giving her a familiar thumb gesture that Mac liked to use at times. Encouragement, approval. Not the best shot. Especially with cold one helping

Then it opened- the different enemy with the different hair shot the other one who got knocked far back, leaving the silver haired enemy on his own and wide open. He was stronger than the uniforms, and deliciously wide open. Starr manifested her anger at him and the uniforms for all they had done in the form of a large laser blast and rained it down upon him.

In the backstage, Mac's eyes grew wide. He had not felt Starr surge quite like that before, whatever just happened it was big.

National City Nightclub.

Finally the dust has cleared and all of the Agents are subdued. Molly is unconscious in a pile of soft snow, Huntress is amidst a pile of four agents and is on her own butt at one end of the pit she dived in, trying to catch her breath.
Mike is recovering and now can move. Starr finished off the remaining conscious agents and is near mike and Music Meister...

Speaking of which... what of Music Meister ?

Wynn can see an odd glow coming from the wrong end of the pit.

Mac in the back reporting on the attack:

"Yeah, the coast is clear. At least the fighting is over anyway. " he told the police on his phone, feeling the changes.

"Gotta go" Mac said abruptly, starting to make his way over the people and past the ice wall.

Starr looked over the battlefield:

Same result. Unusually dressed team charge uniforms, uniforms attack them, she sweeps up the room. She smiled.

Thrill
Pride
Relaxing

Starr took a long breath

Heightened discomfort from the cold of the ice walls and cold one.
Curiosity about the team and the uniforms and what it all meant.

Starr took a long look at one of the cobra agents, the uniforms who threatened Mac and the band and the humans.

Shock
Hurt
Anger

Starr kicked the agent out of anger.

Fear
Anger

Starr kept on kicking the unconscious agent: They had meant to attack Mac.

Hurt
Anger

Starr angrily typed on her pad "NO HURT MAC"

She held it over his closed eyes knowing he wouldn't see it. What kind of world did this where humans did this to other humans? It made Mac send her away. What damage had been done to her only relationship? What kind of world is this??

Hurt
Fear
Anger

Starr slapped the agent's face again and again, repeatedly shoving into closed eyes the message "NO HURT MAC". Had she a tongue for it, that is what she would be screaming

Hands gripped her from behind, somebody pulling her off and forcibly pulling her away

"Starr, stoppit! Let him go!" Mac said and he pulled her off, revealing her name to the group for the first time.

Mike/Mon-El, Winn Schott and Liam/Music Meister

Winn looked around the room and saw that everyone had been defeated and everyone except him, Starr and Mac and Music Meister were up and not completely unconscious for any reason. He took a deep breath and looked at the man.

As Music Meister hadn't gone the extra length to force Mike into a dream state, once he let go of his hand, the man's powers would return.

He looked around and took a breath, before looking over at Winn and pointing to the pit.

Winn noticed the odd glow coming from the other end of the pit and went to investigate.

Outside the nightclub, a black SHIELD SUV showed up behind the center of the police cars, blockading the building. Once the new vehicle parked on the side, a man in green fatigues and wearing a balaclava mask stepped, with an M4 rifle in hand. Accompied by four SHIELD operatives, advanced alongside the police officers and paramedics as they head toward the club.

These snakes just won't leave this city alone. Beachhead thought, walking briskly.

Due to politics Beachhead had been pulled out of National City for a few months. The mayor's office said his presence here was no longer needed and too alarming for the public. Well personally he had hoped it was the case when finally transferred out. Yet he didn't get enough time to hunt down the leads he had about Cobra's obsession with this place and now this latest attempt was only further proof of it.

Thankfully some heroes earlier seem to have stepped up to the plate and taken down the terrorists without any loss of life. Once inside he saw citizens were already being escorted out by cops or loved ones. Beach and his team pressed on until they found what they assume to be the heroes and the unconscious terrorists at the main stage and newly made pit.

"Christmas came early this year." Beach muttered, pleased with the numerous 'snakes' to be bagged for interrogation. He hand-signal his team to start taking their new prisoners into custody. Beach saw a strange looking girl beating one of the Cobra agents in anger until stopped by her friend...Mac the actor!? Looking at everyone present and conscious, he then spoke in his thick southern accent

"Y'all did a great job here. May I know your names?"

In the pit in front of the main stage, amongst the four bodies Huntress is sitting down recovering, watching an odd glow mostly covered in dirt. As some of the others watch, she takes out a bag. Using the end of her baton, she maneuvers the glow into the bag.

"I am called Huntress, normally out of Los Angeles. "

She climbs wearily out of the pit, holding the bag by the end of the handle.

"Most of these folks came with me, ( pointing at Mon El ) He's Valor, ( pointing at Molly ) She is called Power Princess, ( points at Wynn ) He's with me, non combatant technical assistant. ( points at Ice man ) That is Ice man from the X-men. He happened to be in the area and helped a lot. "

( Looking at Wynn ) Please go out to the chopper and the lead box out of the equipment locker at the back of the cabin please, and Hurry. Iceman, could you please cover this bag in Ice ?

Meanwhile, Bobby Drake is looking over Molly, trying to wake her up using first aid skills. He looks up, and puts a thick coating of ice on the bag.

While the effort would be appreciated, Iceman will find there's nothing wrong with Molly physically. She just… puttered out. She reached the extent of her energy limit, and her body just shut off for a little bit.

Essentially the 12 year old took a nap.

And as Iceman prepares the now very cold compress, Molly starts to stir. Her arms suddenly stretch over her head, her legs stretching as she lets out a soft groan. She smiles sleepily as her eyes open… seeing Iceman over her. "Ah!" Molly exclaims as she sits up suddenly, scooting a little away from him. "You better not've kissed me or I'll slug you!" She says shaking her fist at him threateningly. But she is quickly calmed from that initial state of surprise, looking around discretely from behind her mask. She looks back to Iceman and smiles a little, her head bowing just slightly as she speaks softly, wanting no others to hear. "Thanks for helpin me, Bobs." There, Iceman has a new nickname, and 'Lame' isn't even in it. And she's not really thanking him for watching over her while she took a little nap, it's more for helping her when they were fighting. She might be young and naive, but she recognized he was looking out for her.

So Iceman helps her to her feet, and now Molly takes in the scene as she stands near him. Her first thought is to see that Mike is okay… which he is… she feels bad she couldn't help him. She'll have to make sure he knows she really wanted to. She doesn't want her partner to think she just bailed on him. Her gaze moves to Huntress… and she sees someone new standing next to her (Beachhead). She finds herself scooting closer to Iceman a moment as she mutters "Whozzat", her eyes narrowing at the green and black clad man. But she sees that Huntress is talking to him, and not kicking him. So he must be on their side. All late.

She looks up to Iceman as she smiles, and then she scampers over to Lexi, long hair kind of a mess, her ragged cape swaying erratically. She stops just behind Lexi and to her side, peering up at Beachhead. She motions to herself as she speaks. "I'm Princess Powerful. I laid out like… like… 10 of these jerks. And made that hole." She says proudly, pointing towards the very large hole in the wall where one of the doors used to be. "Who're you?" she says up to Beachhead "Do you wear that mask 'cause yer horribly disfigured? Is yer face gross? Can I see?" She says with a wide, cheesy smile. And then… "OH can I shoot yer gun?! Can I have a gun!?" She looks up at Lexi, tugging on the material covering her forearm "I think I need a gun, too. An a giant robot."

Yep, Molly's awake.

At some point, Mac had managed to turn his alien companion around. Physical and emotional in unison in opposition and concordance as she turned and was facing him, holding onto him now as if he were going to evaporate the minute she let go.

His arms were gentle, his tones as apologetic as his words were unknown to her.

"I know, I know. I deserve it: Mac jerk. I just didn't know how to explain it to you. We'll still make it work good for you Starr."

Mac's trained musician ears could comprehend the sounds around him though, as he listened to Beachhead's question and the answers, and the voices as well. Beachhead sounded like Alabama; there was a small chance he would have seen Starr's arrival.

"Hi, I'm Mac Beveman. I was just finished doing a concert here when all this broke out. This here is Starr, at least that's what i started calling her ever since she fell on Alabama that night. She's a bit upset because she didn't know humans could act this way. I need to get her...hey I got an idea. "

" Starr, make friends. Instant replay" he smiled at her, and turned her around again careful not to let go.

Starr started making holograms throughout the room depicting what had happened. They were not very realistic, being more like Southpark-style animation done in 3D.

She started the holograms near the hole where the door used to be, showing An image of Molly starting at the door, running through cobra people with an Iceman in the back creating an ice shield and then catching her fall with the snow.

She panned over to one of Huntress and four cobras, ending that with a white cloud that looked more like it belonged in a Peanuts comic strip than what it had in real life.

She changed scenes to Mike's battle with the silver-haired cobra, showing what had happened there. From where she and Mac were actually standing as opposed to where she really was above the stage, she "blasted" the image of the cobra and finished with a splay of color around the room to show where she had swept up

Liam/Music Meister, Mon-el/ Valor and Winn Schott

Music Meister took the opportunity to introduce himself. " The name's Liam," he said, answering the question of Beach. It wasn't his actual name, but it was the one he used as an alias to keep his real identity from the press. He either went under his 'anti-villain' name or the alias he had made on the spot.

Winn nodded and went to get the stuff. As he left, he hadn't realized that the Music Meister, the man who had forced Kara into a coma had a real name. He also saw that Mon-El was a little angry upon seeing the man. He wondered if they had some sort of history.

Mon-El took a breath, standing up and looking around. " You didn't tell us your name. What would that be?" He asked the other man. He held back the urge to punch Music Meister.

Well the airborne ranger can say he got more than names from this lot. A member of the X-men, an alien girl, two regular humans, and several super powered meta humans(one of them twelve years old) as far as he can tell. He knew some of their names from reading in the SHIELD files like Bobby Drake aka Iceman and Huntress. Cobra apparently picked the wrong place and time to attack much to his amusement. Still he wished gotten here sooner to help.

That was put on the back burner as Molly bombarded him with questions, some of them rather personal. Before Beach can reply the others gave their own answers. The famous singer Mac introduced the alien Star who seemed to have landed in his home state of Alabama. He wasn't there at the time, Beach did recall hearing some of his friends back home talking about seeing a falling comet or something. Guess she was the one, he thought while Mac went on to explain why her reaction to all of this violence.

For a newcomcer from a different world, it must be a hard adjustment the GI JOE operative realized. With sympathic eyes looking back at Starr, he wondered how could one explain to an innocent outworlder the complications in regards to mankind's constant conflicts among themselves.

Not a real simple answer to that question.

Then suddenly Starr created an replay of what happen here, much to his amazement. Powers like hers and that of Molly's coild make a average person feel rather small in comparison. He noticed the one called Valor seemed to had tensions with the one called Liam. He didn't know what it is, but seems rather personal. Then Valor asked for his name.

"My code name is Beachhead, I'm an ranger with GI JOE, a task force for SHIELD. Y'all can call me Beach or Sergeant Major if that is your preference."

Turning toward Molly and remembering her questions, he pulled up the mask, letting her see his face which was actually not disfigured. Then Beach put it back on saying.

"There you go, not gross is it Princess? On second thought don't answer that one please."

His squad mates from behind smirked sliently at their Sergeant Major's expense.

She secured the iced up bag into the lead box.

" A pleasure to make your acquaintance Beach. I am usually running around in LA but we got this call and sped out here. I suspect they were after this... whatever it is. I had a mystical warning neither to touch it or look at it. I would be therefore, if I were you or your people, extraordinarily careful with it. Shield has my number should you need anything from us. "

She then turns to her people, " Lets get ready to go folks, Liam, nice to make your acquaintance."

She leaves the lead box near the pit on the ground.

" Mac, Starr, I think me and my team would love meeting with you under less, strenuous circumstances. " She pulls out a card. " Please call me and I will do everything I can to arrange such "

Molly's attention goes from Beachhead to Starr as she kind of takes the spotlight. She squints a little as she watches her, as if that would help her see the alien better. It won't, of course. But she grins widely and excitedly as she looks over Starr… and then the show starts.

Molly turns as she sees the first of the holograms. "OH!" She jumps up and down in place and points at the Holo-Molly, giggling loudly ecstatically. "I look so awesome! And then I took a nap!" she exclaims. Her eyes follow the show as she still smiles widely and excitedly, and lets out a loud "WOOOO!" and thrusts her fists into the air as the hologram shows Huntress being very Huntress, and taking out the baddies. She turns then as the hologram images fade, and she darts right towards Starr, hopping up and down. "That was amazing you make such pretty pictures! Make a unicorn!"

But having the attention span of a goldfish in these situations, Molly hears Mike ask for a name, and Beachhead answering. She looks towards Beachhead, and then to Starr holding a single finger up. "Hold up a sec!" She darts over to Beachhead, expecting to see his gross Phantom of the Opera action all over his face. She grins widely as she watches him… and then blinks when she sees he's not horridly disfigured.

"awwwww!"

She exclaims in a disappointed tone. "Your name is Beachhead… I thought… ya know… yer face would look like a beach or something… Beachhead is a pretty lame name, man…" She shakes her head up at Beachhead, as if showing her disappointment. But have patience with Molly, her superhero costume was made with materials Gerty bought at the Dollar Tree for a total of $12. And she calls herself 'Princess Powerful'… which some would say is not even as cool as Beachhead.

But don't let Molly hear you say that, or she'll launch your ass into orbit.

She looks over her shoulder towards Huntress as she hears her, and looks back towards Beachhead a moment before jogging back towards her. She looks between all of those gathered around her (Huntress, Beachhead, Mike, Liam, Mac and Starr), and in her head she's picking out who would be good to have in her club.

Yes Molly kind of considers this her club already. Not even one mission done.

She would indeed like to meet Mac and Starr when people weren't shooting at her. Because that's usually a better atmosphere and all. "It was nice meeting you all! I'm happy you got ta see us kick some as—" she starts to say 'ass', but immediately stops herself and looks up to Huntress with wide eyes, then looks back towards everyone as she grins embarrassed, finishing her sentence. "Kick some butt!" Nice recovery!

Mac was a bit confused by a hero who was offering him a business card of sorts and what they wanted to talk to him about. Endorsements? Media work? Fill out paperwork about the attack?

Passively taking the card in his confusion, a possibility stuck him "Yeah, I'm heading down to Los Angeles myself now that the gig here is done. Got a shoot...ah, yeah, , make that film work. Also got a couple concerts around this general area. I'm even going down to Anaheim to play Knott's one day. Now that I think of it, there's something might could help me out with." he smiled, as if the whole thing was his own idea.

Starr watched Molly walk around, radiating more emotion that the others. Enthusiasm, excitement, some curiosity. Molly was saying things to her that Mac didn't feel the need to explain. Also, the man in the mask had been talking and he sounded more like Mac than the others. They were happy, whatever had happened with the uniforms and the fear and the fighting the humans thought it was over now. Except, not really, because now that Starr knew humans could be like the uniformed ones it could never be the same. Starr felt a bit of worry coming up in her that she did not notice in the others. Why?

She had drifted away a step from Mac with all the talking, and now shuffled back toward him again.

Mac put a reassuring hand on her shoulders but talked to the others. "Well, I need to check on the band before we head to the hotel. " he said, turning with Starr.

Taking a few steps away, he reached into his pocket and unfolded a small wearable fin.

"Hey Princess, catch!" he called to Molly, gently tossing it underhand to her "I seen where you wanted a souvenir earlier, so I'm right honored to give you the highest recognition my little band has to offer. Honorary Finhead. You all were awesome, and we're sure glad you came out."

Liam was silent as he looked over at the others. " I am also heading over to LA. Got to work out my book deal with the publishers. There are some edits I need to hand in to them. I wouldn't mind being a help to you guys," he said, hoping that his book deal was going to go well.

Mon-El and Winn looked at each other and headed back up towards the helicopter.

Molly hears 'Princess', and when she's in the room and someone says that word they are of course addressing her. Because frankly there shouldn't be any other 'princesses' around when she is. Because… well because reasons!

She blinks and looks towards Mac, and fumbles with the fin a few times before she catches. She grins a toothy grin, staring down at it with wide eyes. "WOOHOO" she exclaims loudly, and she immediately puts the fin on. She'll have to make little adjustments to it so it'll fit with her mask and all.

She now runs towards the helicopter with the rest of her team, waving to everyone. She's going to have to talk to Lexi about how they can get Beachhead, Mac and Starr onto their team. Because she thinks the team could use more aliens and guys in masks.

Liam, Mon-El and Winn

Just as quickly as he had arrived, Liam also known as the Music Meister was gone without a trace. He wasn't much for big government or for that matter, clean-up. He was sure that if luck would have it, then the rest of them would encounter him again in less than dire circumstances.

Mike sat in the helicopter, waiting for Molly to come back. He also may have been reading Harry Potter on his phone, but he wasn't about to admit that he was marveled by that.

" That could have gone a lot worse, I guess that is a mission accomplished," Winn said, smiling and happy that he was part of this team.

@Gands @Camleen

"Nope, that was just a coincidence. I had no idea that attack was going to happen. Actually, I've had her with me since just after the last tour. This was the only time I had her on stage though, didn't know what else to do with her. Now I really don't know, unless this one idea I just got pans out.

So, we have a day off tomorrow. You tell the rest of the boys to go on ahead and we'll get this thing sorted out tomorrow. If any of them don't want to stay here, they can go on to Los Angeles tonight and I'll get the hotel. Allright, glad your all OK. Talk to you all tomorrow."

Mac spoke on his phone as the others departed. Things were very quiet now, but it might still be a long night depending on how the media reacted. Then again, a low-level celebrity this close to LA in an area already coping with terrorism just might not be a big news item. Time would tell.

Starr had started searching the area after the other left, not paying much attention to Beachhead and Squirrel's girls words she could not comprehend, and moving some of the many unfinished drinks to a table in the center of the room.

Finally, she THUDDED a bottle of Caribbean rum on the other side of the table.

When Mac turned to face her, she rather forcibly kicked a chair out for him and sat down herself with her assortment of various drinks.

Mac didn't need to be able to read her emotions to know what Starr's look meant....also, Mac could read her emotions. He sheepishly sat down at the chair she kicked out for him.

"Starr...I know what I did, but how can I explain it to you when you can't even understand so many of the words I say" Mac looked at the rum, avoiding her gaze. "

"I sent you away because I was afraid what would happen if you tried to fight all those agents on your own. They couldn't kill you, but they probably would have killed a lot of other people. One day, you'd realize what had happened and have to live with that...maybe even forever, the way it looks."

"...and you have absolutely no chance of understanding what I said just now." Mac said, quickly chugging some of the rum.

He reached across the table and cupped one of her hands in his. "I don't know what to do here Starr. I thought maybe we'd have time to try to figure this out before they found out about you...and then this happened. You don't really need protection, but you need a lot of other things and I just don't know what to do. People just naturally don't like people who are different than them sometimes. No matter how many heroes and aliens and mutants and such that appear, it just seems like they never really can find peace in this world. I always hoped that my music could make a difference cause I figured that everybody was kind of different from everybody else when it came right down to it and that people should just learn to enjoy that. Sure enough, now that I'm faced with the real thing instead of just singing a song I'm finding out I don't know how to help it at all."

Every word he said just increased the feeling of futility for Mac, who felt that even a person who could understand his words wouldn't be able to understand him at this moment, but he didn't know what else he could do.

There is that moment. Where everything seems to go ever so much slower. As the Feds get to the lead box and start putting on Gas masks, those still in the club realize something is not right. Gas grenades go off, duplicating both smoke and choking gas. In moments the nightclub is ground zero for a nightmarish cloud of stinging gas that cant easily be seen through.
