Mason Green
A.K.A., "Seraph"
Out of Costume:
In Costume:
Costume Notes:
• Seraph's hood is always covering his face, no mater what since he keeps it in place by using his telekinesis. The amount of power required to do this is so minuscule that after a while, he got used to it and it become more of a subconscious act (meaning he doesn't have to focus on it anymore; his mind just automatically keeps his hood down). That being said, he can see clearly through the fabric; he just has an identity to maintain.
• When in-costume, Seraph's body emanates with a subtle black-mist that gives him an eerie shadow-like appearance.
• Although made of seemingly ordinary fabric, Seraph's 'super suit' is actually reinforced by powerful dark magic enchantments that make it extremely durable and capable of taking vast amounts of damage.
• Seraph's costume is literally a part of his body; since it exists as ethereal armour, it is always attached to him even when not in his 'other form'. When he's living as his alter-ego, the armour is invisible and intangible, but offers him the same amount of protection as it does when it is visible.

Powers/Abilities:
Due to his Paranormal heritage, Mason possesses a
Ghost Physiology, which gives him the following abilities/powers;
•
Ectoplasm Generation - Mason's body procedurally generates a sticky green ectoplasm that is essential for keeping his spiritual form from instantly dissipating. The ectoplasm is a physical extension of his ghostly abilities and as a result, it acts like natural body-armour, giving him enhanced strength and durability. It also grants him an enhanced sense of stamina and agility. The only downside to having his body constantly generate the ectoplasm is that it makes him extremely susceptible to attacks/weapons that specifically neutralize the substance.
•
Ectoplasm Manipulation - Mason is capable of harnessing the ectoplasm that is naturally occurring in his body into a weapon. By focusing on the projection, Mason can manifest the ectoplasm in a variety of ways (green energy bolts that he can fire from his hands or physical goo-blobs/weapons that he can use to his advantage). Mason also possesses the ability to manipulate any ectoplasmic residue in his immediate surroundings. This manipulation can range from absorbing it to gain a new temporary ability, or analyzing it to track down the creature/spirit that it came from.
•
Ectokinetic Constructs - Much like how he can manifest the ectoplasm in his body into energy-blasts, Mason is capable of producing a more tangible version of the substance. He can create literal weapons/shields out of the goo-like substance that also acts as his blood and use them for combat purposes.
•
Fear Inducement - Mason possesses the inherent ability as a supernatural being to impose a sense of fear in those who he confronts. The level of fear possessed by those affected by his powers ranges from person to person (some may be immensely terrified of him, some may only be unnerved). As an extension of this power, Mason can use the shadow-mist emanating off his body to act like a spiritual extension of his body, creating shapes and figures to intimidate his foes (although since they're just shadows, they can't actually do any harm and are mostly for show/intimidation purposes).
•
Freezing - A side effect of Mason's 'Fear Inducement' is that his body temperature is consistently at the temperature of the room he's currently in (his body would essentially feel as cold as a corpse). Another side effect of this trait is that he can manipulate the temperature of any given room (provided he's inside) into dropping to 0°C (32°F) or below in order to provide his foe's with that ever-lovable 'cold spot' moment just before he arrives on the scene.
•
Power Negation - Mason, like every supernatural being, has the natural ability to partially negate the powers of other-worldly beings (both from the supernatural plane and beyond). While it doesn't make his foes lose their abilities, it does make them susceptible to his attacks. A downside of this is that just like him,
every supernatural being possesses this ability, so just as he partially negates their powers, they partially negate his own.
•
Flight - By harnessing a combination of the shadow-mist emanating from his body and the ectoplasm within him, Mason is capable of achieving a completely weightless state and fly around at speeds up to 200mph (the average he normally flies at is 90, but once when he was in the spiritual plane, he managed to get up to 140).
Due to the spiritual restraints of the Mortal Realm, Mason is incapable of reaching higher speeds, but like anything; when faced with adversity, we naturally strive to overcome it.
•
Intangibility - Like his ability to transform between his mortal and spiritual forms at will, Mason possesses the ability to become intangible whenever it benefits him. During this time, he is capable of passing through solid objects/living beings, but the downside is that unless he is holding/touching something/someone prior to activating the ability, Mason is incapable of achieving physical contact with anything until he becomes tangible again. If he is holding/touching an object/person at the time of going intangible, they also become intangible until either he lets go or he becomes tangible again.
•
Invisibility - Like a ghost, Mason possesses the ability to become invisible for long periods of time. In conjuncture with his low-body temperature, this ability makes him essentially untraceable on any kind of heat-tracking/infrared device. That being said, he cannot remain in this form indefinitely as it drains him much quicker of energy then just using his ectoplasm alone or by flying.
If someone is equipped with ghost-tracking technology or possesses the ability to sense/feel ghosts (or smell the ectoplasm), then he can be easily discovered.
•
Possession - Mason's ghost physiology allows him to ability to temporarily enter the bodies of his enemies/allies in order to either disguise himself from other supernatural entities or to gather information from unwilling informants. However, this process is physically draining on both the victim and Mason himself, as the spiritual energy required to control another person's body temporarily advances the process of decomposition (as Mason cannot keep their bodily functions continuing, so they essentially die for a moment). If he doesn't vacate the body before long, then the person he's possessed will die and Mason would run the risk of being stuck inside their corpse permanently (as his spirit and theirs merge during the possession).
•
Telekinesis - Mason possesses the ability to control objects/weapons in his immediate surroundings, but usually not to tremendous effect. Unless he's throwing something and needs it to precisely land on target, he very scarcely uses this power for combat-related purposes. Much like his 'Freezing' power, he uses this as an intimidation tool (levitating objects/spooky phenomena alerts his victim to the presence of the supernatural).
•
Memory Erasure - Mason, like his mother, has the ability to permanently erase any aspect of someone's memory, be it a more recent memory or something long-term. This is usually done in order to maintain his secret identity/cover up the truth about any paranormal activity somebody may have come across. Through physical contact, Mason can absorb (although it's more like he's devouring it) a particular portion of somebody's memory, permanently erasing it from existence.
Although Mason is capable of doing this to a wider range of targets (ex. A group of people) by sending out a pulse of ecto-kinetic energy and focusing on the aspects of the memory he wants deleted (usually the duration of time it took for him to defeat/kill/banish his latest foe), doing so causes him a tremendous amount of mental and physical fatigue and requires he rest and recuperate for a while.
•
Transformation - Mason possesses the ability to transform into Seraph at anytime, but it requires a decent amount of mental focus to activate. The process is fairly quick; a black mist fires out of his chest and rapidly swirls around his body, creating a tornado under which his costume materializes. Once he's ready, the mist retreats back into his chest until he wants to transform again.
•
Portal Creation - Although Mason wasn't initially able to create portals via his own ectoplasmic residue, he has since been granted the ability by his Mother, a Witch Queen of the spiritual realm. By drawing an oval with his family crest contained inside on any surface and infusing it with some of his ectoplasm, Mason is able to create a portal between either the Spiritual Realm and the Mortal Realm, or (as he usually does), a portal to Hell. Whenever he deals with a rogue spirit/demon/supernatural entity and manages to defeat it, Mason can immediately create a portal using his shadow-mist and plunge his incapacitated foe straight into the fiery depths.
Weapons/Equipment:
Primarily, Seraph's weapons are limited to whatever form he manifests his ectoplasm and his fists. Occasionally he'll just use objects in and around his surroundings as weapons, but usually Seraph just uses his ghostly abilities.
As for equipment, Seraph's spiritual form possesses a set of strengthened demonic armour given to him by his Mother upon his 'awakening'. The costume, although it appears to be made from simple fabrics, is actually enhanced by dark magic to be extremely durable. Due to the paranormal origins of the cloth and the enchantments that protect it, Seraph's costume is capable of self-reparation, so any damage done to it is quickly swept away after a period of time. That being said, it isn't invulnerable and if something were to pierce it, Mason would still feel the effects of being stabbed/injured.
Weaknesses/Vulnerabilities:
The downside to using ectoplasm as the source of his abilities is that his body has to contain a specific amount it in order to keep him able bodied. Since ectoplasm is his blood, Mason is essentially draining himself of his life force every time he uses his abilities. If he's in combat for too long/he uses his powers too extensively, Mason will begin to grow dizzy/fatigued and show signs of extreme blood-loss.
Mason, like most supernatural entities, is a literal homing beacon for paranormal activity. As such, he can be easily traced/identified by other paranormal creatures.
Bio:
Before Mason
Mason's life as 'Seraph' began many years ago, back when he was conceived; not that he'd remember it, that is.
Before Mason was born, his father died in a work-related accident and was sent to the Spiritual Realm for judgement. When he arrived, it was discovered he had unfinished business amongst the mortal world and was allowed to remain in the realm of Purgatory (which is actually a never-ending city that resembles the mortal realm) until he achieved his final wish. Unfortunately, Mason's father didn't know what his unfinished business was, so he begun a new life in Purgatory until he realized the answer. During his time there, Mason's father met and befriended a black raven, who had followed him around on his first day in Purgatory and never left his side.
As time wore on and the spirit in-charge of Mason's father begun to get more irate that he hadn't realized what his 'unfinished business' was, Mason's father found himself faced with the risk of becoming what is known as 'The Lost Ones'; a deformed spirit forced to wander the Earth for all eternity in a pointless search for the source of their unfinished business. But just as things seemed their bleakest... The Raven revealed its true form.
It was Azria, a centuries old Witch Queen who was as beautiful as she was powerful. She revealed that she had a habit of following around the denizens of Purgatory who she could tell still had much to live for and as such, if she dubbed them worthy, she would return them to the Mortal Realm to live out the end of their days as they longed to do. She had not only deemed his father worthy of being resurrected by her magic, but also that she had discovered his unfinished business before he did, but did not tell him what it was. The revelation was his to make and perhaps when he returned to the mortal realm, it would come to him.
And so, Mason's father woke up on the same day as the accident, having been rushed to the hospital for his injuries and miraculously surviving. He was unable to remember any of his time in Purgatory, but it didn't seem to bother him. At the hospital, he came to know a nurse with whom he got along exquisitely and within a few years, the two were happily married and expecting their first child; Mason.
After Mason was born, his father had a sudden revelation; this was his unfinished business. Suddenly all the memories of his time in Purgatory came flooding back and he realized the woman who was his wife of two years was actually Azria! She revealed that she had become enamoured with him during their time together and after realizing his unfinished business was to start a family and find somebody he could truly love, she decided that centuries of being alone was enough for her. Although he was initially shocked, Mason's father quickly grew accustomed to the fact he had married an ancient Witch Queen reincarnated.
Although Mason was born as a Half-Human/Half-Demon (since Azria was a 'Witch Queen', she dealt a lot with demons and eventually became one herself when she died), he showed no signs of possessing/controlling a spiritual form.
That is, until he turned seventeen.
Birth of Seraph
Mason grew up with a pretty ordinary life. Both parents were around and happily married, he lived in a moderately sized townhouse in Vancouver, and excelled in his classes. He had a small but reliable circle of friends which he stayed in contact with consistently throughout grade school and high school. Mason was never truly the 'popular kid', but he didn't need to be; he was fine with who he was and often got angry at others when they tried to change him.
Although his parents occasionally discussed the spiritual world as if it were real and tried to tell him as much as they could about his heritage, Mason didn't believe in the supernatural and as such, doubted that he was biologically half-demon. To him, it all seemed like a childhood charade similar to how parents told their children about Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. He often joked around with his supposed linage for years as he grew up, especially since neither his parents nor he showed any signs of being something other then human. Mason knew that Meta Humans were a reality and could be explained through scientific reasoning; but the supernatural, was just a bunch of hooey.
Until his 'awakening', that was.
When Mason was 17, his biology class went on a school trip to the world-famous Liones Solutions Research and Development Labs. They were there as part of their curriculum on "Man Made Meta Humans" and since Liones Solutions was the leading government-funded facilities for training "Super Heroes", it only made sense to go visit the place where the 'magic happened'.
Their tour guide, a man by the name of (Dr.) Gordon Dean, guided the children throughout the lab and showcased their top-of-the-line facilities, such as an anti-gravity chamber where the gravity could be enhanced to up to/less than 100 times Earth's gravity (the increased gravity primarily used for the 'extreme training' of Meta Humans who were capable of bearing such weight) and a weapons/armour/advanced technology workshop, where the world's greatest minds worked on producing new equipment for heroes such as The Chaperon Sentinels. But their final stop was at a newly constructed portion of the research lab; the 'Dimensional Exploration Wing'.
Housing a highly advanced wormhole generator previously used by the hostile extra terrestrial species known as 'The Luuurg' (who's previous invasion of the planet was ended with no difficulty two years prior) to warp from their home-world to Earth instantaneously, the "D.E.W.", as that wing was known as, was built in order to explore the possibility of other dimensions and potentially alternate realities. Many heroes (and a few of the villains) had origins that linked back to alternate realities/worlds, so Liones Solutions decided to take a crack at it themselves and give human beings the ability to traverse such worlds like their Meta counterparts. The wormhole generator was supposed to be non-functional at the time of the tour, but an overlooked test schedule by one of the workers led to the device being activated just as Gordon was leading the students out. As per with their safety precautions, the doors to the room were automatically locked, trapping the class, their teacher, and Dr. Dean, inside.
As they tried to figure out a way to open the doors, something emerged from the portal; it was a
tall, slender creature with black holes for eyes and no mouth, with blood red veins stretched out across its apparently malnourished body. Three more of these creatures (which Mason eventually learned were called 'Lurkers') emerged from the portal, having apparently crossed over from a nightmarish world where they reigned as the dominant species. The Lurkers, although blind, immediately caught onto the scents of the terrified humans trapped in the corner of the room and lunged towards them. The students screamed in fear as their teacher and Dr. Dean tried to keep them at bay while the security personnel worked on opening the door.
During the conflict, one of the Lurkers grabbed Mason and plunged an incorporeal hand into his chest, clawing at his heart with its sharpened bone-like fingers. As he bled out from internal hemorrhaging, Mason strangely found himself renewed with an energy he couldn't properly describe. His skin began to glow with a dark energy and soon, it engulfed his entire body, making him resemble some kind of
shadow boy.
In this form, Mason was capable of flight and was capable of firing green bolts of energy from his hands. Although he barely had control over his actions, he seemed to innately understand what he was supposed to do and begun fighting against the Lurkers, who had now all turned their attention towards him. Mason fought valiantly and managed to kill three of the monsters before the remaining Lurker retreated into the wormhole from whence it came, terrified of the dark spirit it had just faced. Around this time, the doors were unlocked and the wormhole device was shut-off, but everyone was more concerned about the apparent ghost-boy hovering above them.
As his mind returned to him and the shadows retreated, Mason reverted back to his original form, although he could still feel the tingling sensation he had experienced just moments ago. Before he or anyone else had the chance to properly react to the situation, a pale woman with an
odd choice of clothing appeared from another portal, this time much smaller and from the floor beneath Mason. He soon realized that the woman was his mother in her chosen spiritual form and realized that all she had told him was true. When Mason asked how elements of the supernatural could still be kept secret from the world when they had already accepted the existence of both Metas and extraterrestrials, Azria explained that the balance between the spiritual world and the mortal realm can only be maintained through secrecy. Unlike Metas, creatures of the supernatural persuasion prefer to remain in the shadows and never be seen as anything more then a ghost story, but sometimes they must step out to confront those who seek to harm others or incite conflict to feed their vile desires. While some of these beings are able to be confronted and defeated by the heroes of the mortal world, there are far worse threats that only other supernatural entities can properly confront and if the general public were to learn of their existence, it would only fuel the fear and hatred that these entities fed upon (as most demons are born from negative emotions/feelings/sin and thrive on a physical manifestation of them). As such, people need to believe that the supernatural world doesn't exist; so as to not fuel the power of the dark side.
Azria quickly got to work wiping the memories of all those in the facility who had witnessed the events in the D.E.W., replacing the encounter with the Lurkers with a computer malfunction that locked the doors and triggered the emergency alarm. Before departing, she informed Mason that she never wanted to force him to become an active member of the supernatural realm, but now that his spiritual form had been awakened, they had no choice, as now he could be hunted by any potential supernatural beings that crossed over to the Mortal Realm.
When Mason returned home, his mother began training him on how to properly use his supernatural abilities and control the transformation between his mortal and spiritual forms at will. Mason was a fast learner and within a year, he had completed his training around the same time he graduated from high school. As a graduation gift, Mason was given a set of black ceremonial robes enhanced with dark magic by Azria, who told him that the armour was permanently bound to his spiritual form and would always protect him.
From that point on, Mason went to college and graduated with a degree in journalism, giving him free-reign to travel all over the world for his work should he ever have to go and confront a larger threat to society. Although he was offered many times to join up with registered groups of supernatural-based 'demon hunters', Mason opted to work on his own, going by the name of "Seraph" (the highest ranked angel of God's order). Since his mother was technically a 'Queen', Mason was technically a Prince of sorts (as such he possessed more powerful/refined abilities then other supernaturals), the name was somewhat fitting. Plus, it sounded cool.
Although he's never considered himself a 'Hero', Mason does possess many beliefs and traits that prevent him from allowing harm to come to others while he is still capable of standing up for them, or to risk one life over another (although he had little to no regard towards the lives of demons/supernatural monsters, as he often knows they'll be back in some way, shape, or form).
Sample Post:
- "Celebrities" Night Club - Vancouver, B.C. -
2:17am, on a Thursday.
The pounding music reverberated off the walls around the club, forcing the denizens of the crowded dance floor to jump up and down in rhythm as they danced to the beat. Some swayed their hips back and forth, some bobbed their heads like mad-men, and others danced a little too closely to their partners as they got a bit frisky. The thick smell of sweat and alcohol wafted around the club, permeating even the noses of those affected by the harsh winter cold season. The bar was just as crowded as people waved down and hollered at the barkeep in order to order another drink even though most were too inebriated to even pronounce the simplest of words correctly.
However, one patron at the bar, a messy brown haired boy, remained silent as he watched his drink intensely. After a moment or two, he looked up from the full glass of Rum and Coke (he had simple tastes) and scanned the bar. To his right was an attractive redhead, dressed in a tight black dress with a skirt that ended just above the knee. Her bright green eyes were inviting and she had the tiniest fragment of an overbite. It was kind of cute. She didn't seem intoxicated (beyond the point of rational thought) and had previously ordered a few drinks for her friends, as he had overheard. Turning to her with a kind smile, he studied her for a second before speaking up.
"I have to ask, why Gabriel?"
She turned to him curiously, laughing a little at the odd question.
"What?"
"Your bracelet. It's got the Archangel Gabriel on it. Why Gabriel?"
With a bit of surprise, she looked down at the silver bracelet and chuckled to herself.
"I don't know, never really thought about it. To be honest I didn't even know he had a name. It was my grandmothers, she gave it to me when I was a kid."
With a smile, the man spoke again.
"Well it's a beautiful bracelet, regardless. Your grandmother had fantastic tastes."
Coyly, the redhead turned towards her conversational partner and raised an eyebrow.
"That was a bit of a cliched response, wasn't it?"
"I'm kind of a cliched guy."
She smiled.
"And what would be a cliched guy's name?"
"Mason."
"Wow, that is cliched."
"Totally unoriginal, I know. Hate it." said Mason, laughing slightly as he joked around with his name.
"Was Beth your grandmothers name or are you as cliched as I am?"
"No, it's just as bad." Beth commented, flicking some of her curly red hair out of her face.
"Guess we have something in common."
"Guess so. Hey; wanna see something awesome?"
"If it's anything below the belt, you can forget it."
"Won't be showing you that anytime soon, gotta keep some kind of mystery between us." he said, winking coyly at her. Beth laughed a little, smiling at him. For whatever reason, Mr. Cliche now had her full attention and she was fine with it.
"Alright, what?"
Mason directed her eyes to his right hand by wiggling a few of his fingers.
"Watch." He moved his hand over the glass his drink was contained by and gently popped his pointer finger into it. Grazing just along the surface, Mason created a little swirl within the liquid and began to sketch little shapes and runic designs. As his finger moved, the patterns left behind did not vanish as they normally would, but they lingered even after Mason had moved on. Beth watched on, her eyes bulging slightly at the interesting display. She hadn't seen a Meta Human up-close before, so this turn of events had completely taken her by surprise.
After he finished the last rune, Mason pulled his finger out of the liquid and waved his hand at the glass. Quickly, the glass lifted into the air and, in tune with Mason moving his hand up and town, began to shake as if something were controlling it. The liquid inside began to swirl around at chaotic speeds and slowly turned from blackish-brown to a dark shade of green and red. Lifting his other hand, Mason coerced the liquid out of the glass and formed it into a spiral shape, keeping the consistency perfect as he worked. He pushed more liquid to the top, bulging the spiral so it resembled some kind of a stem with a large object at the top. Then, the object began to glow brightly with a green energy as the runes began to pulsate. Next, the liquid froze and took its final shape before Mason clapped his hands together, shattering the frozen casing of the object into tiny fragments that evaporated with green smoke. What was left behind, was a magnificent rose unlike anything found on Earth, with bright blue petals and a dark amber stem. It levitated momentarily before Mason gestured for Beth to take it. Once it touched the skin on her hand, gravity resumed its work and the Rose's weight returned.
"That's a Midnight Blossom Rose. They don't grow naturally here so I had to get creative. But it'll never wilt, even if you don't keep it in water." explained Mason, shrugging his shoulders as he told her about the strange flower.
"Cool, huh?"
Beth stared down at the rose for a moment, studying it curiously. Then, a smirk spread across her lips and she gave him a playfully mad look.
"You really are a cliched guy. You give me a rose on our first date?"
Mason smiled.
"First date? I thought most girls hated cliche pick-up attempts?"
Still holding the rose, Beth winked and said
"Well I'm not like most girls. Besides, they can't say a guy ever gave them a Midnight Blossom Rose, can they?"
Mason nodded his head in agreement, staring straight into the gorgeous redhead's eyes. But just as things were getting good, he smelt it.
"Ooooh man..." he muttered, his expression suddenly souring. Beth watched him with concern, slightly offended that he sounded so miserable all of a sudden.
"Are you-"
"Sorry, that wasn't about you. You're awesome. I just... I just gotta deal with somebody real quick." Mason admitted. Glancing around the bar, Mason was unable to see anything that looked slightly suspicious. Then, as he turned towards the dance floor, he noticed a well-built man wearing a tank-top and black cameo jeans. Bingo.
Quickly turning to Beth, Mason stood up and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Find your friends and get out of here. If you wait for me outside the club, I'll be five-ten minutes, tops... But things are gonna get a little hairy right now." Mason said before turning his back on the confused redhead. Making his way through the crowd, Mason found the blonde haired army-reject dancing next to a group of women who seemed a little too into him.
"Bit late to be partying, isn't it?" Mason asked, shoving his hands into his pockets.
The blonde man turned his eyes towards Mason, staring at him curiously.
"Vut do you mean?" he said, a thick Russian-European accent on his lips.
"Well normally the phrase 'eternal damnation' entails that you're not supposed to have fun, and you're especially not allowed to take a break from it."
"I do not understand. Please leave at vonce. You are boserin' de girls."
"Oh, am I? Sorry. Thought that the stench would get to them more then I ever could. Seriously dude; you smell like somebody dumped a bucket of Axe body spray on a plate of Surströmming so they could try and cover up the smell of rotten fish."
"Vhut did ju say?"
"Cut the theatrics, asshole; you know what the deal is. You're a Demon. Specifically, a Luster; these girls are only into you because you're emitting hormones like a tree trying to pollinate. They have no self control and you know that. So, I'm gonna give you two options. One; you go peacefully back to Hell where you belong and I throw in a word with the big-red guy downstairs to see if you can get a reduced sentence. That way once you're done being tortured, you can go up to the big nightclub in the sky and have as many girls as you want. Or Two; I kick your ass and force you back into Hell, where I'm sure the higher-ups will be super pleased to see an adulterer managed to get out. They'll probably throw you in the same place where they throw guys who mess with kids. That's a fun crowd."
Now visibly shocked by the young man's words, the blonde man stared at Mason for a moment before he grew visibly angry. Suddenly and with an audible reverb, the blonde spoke again in a clear voice.
"I WILL NOT GO BACK! I'VE HAD ENOUGH TORMENT!"
As he spoke, everyone in the club turned to look at the blonde man with a shocked expression. Those on the dance floor quickly backed up, forming an empty space between themselves and the two men. Mason wiped his brow and cracked his neck, hands, and back as he prepared to what came next.
"Thank you for selecting Option Two; I'll make this quick so you can get back to your eternal reward." said Mason, a dark shadow slowly seeping out of his chest. The shadow swirled around his body, rapidly picking up speed as it enveloped him entirely. After a few seconds, it dispersed, revealing a dark cloaked figure whose body emitted a thin trail of shadows.
"Shall we dance?" asked Seraph, his hands slowly glowing with a mysterious green energy as he prepared for a fight. The blonde man growled at the cloaked figure and let out a bellowing roar as his skin began to pulsate violently, bubbling and shaking as he begun a transformation of his own. His skin melted away, revealing a black skeletal figure with spikes across his back and shoulders, a pair of large horns emerging from his head, and sunken eyes. His teeth separated and became sharper, providing the monstrosity with a mouth full of jagged teeth. Two fingers fell off of each hand, landing on the floor and revealing the sharp 3-fingered claws beneath the disguise he had previously worn. As the transformation occurred, the
Luster slowly grew in size, eventually standing at a towering 9'8". Seraph looked up at him and scoffed lightly. The green aura around Seraph's hands suddenly began to pulsate intensely as the Luster roared at him.
"I hate it when they show off."
As Seraph swung his hands violently towards the demon, releasing the energy bolts that landed square in its eye-sockets, a
new song began to play through the speakers.
Other:
Mason often spends his downtime with a stray
black tabby cat that hangs around his building. He's lovingly named it 'Professor Fuzzy Boots' and oftentimes when he's not out and about fighting demons/crime, he's lounging around the house playing with the adorable stray.
Mason is technically a 'Prince' as his mother was the 'Witch Queen of Thua' when she was alive, (Thua was a small country in Europe that no longer exists). As such, he possesses powers that are slightly more powerful then other supernatural entities similar to him.
