Unfortunately for Danielle, it appears that the ship they were being transported in was
lacking weapons, evidently whatever armed ships that may have been available here were occupied... Or likely incapacitated. Whatever the case, landing ontop of the titan was relatively easy, or so it seemed... But just as she struck at the nape of it's neck, the creature suddenly let loose a
heavy blast of scalding air from the point of impact... Accompanied by a mysterious shimmering around its nape.
This blast of scalding air was strong enough to
blow Danielle away from its nape... Evidently, this creature had some defensive capabilities, but, perhaps for good reason. However, while this would complicate matters, it would appear that it had at least
focused its attention on its attacker, raising a hand as it attempted to
brush Danielle off of its body... A motion that almost resembled someone brushing off an insect or something.
In the meantime,
Mipha, and
Blaze would find themselves in the heat of battle... With alot of the ship's passengers, fighting off a good number of smaller titans down below. While most were easy to dispatch, it would appear that there were quite a few abnormals; some appeared to rush their opponents relentlesssly... Others crawled on all fours, lunging towards any opposition with lightning fast movements.
However, despite it all, they all had the same weakness; their napes. Taking advantage of this weakness, no matter how big or small, their numbers were beginning to thin in no time... Until the thundering sounds of footsteps could be heard somewhere in the distance, followed by
two distinct screeches, piercing the air. Looks like they were about to have company... And not the good kind, as in the distance, they could spot
two screecher titans charging towards the tower.
...
Ruby paused, at Weiss's inquiry about a plan. While she had initially figured they would handle this in the same way they handled that screecher at the colloseum, there was something different about this one. It appeared to be able to release steam from its skin, scalding anyone who got close to its nape, and what's more was the shimmering that seemed to have enveloped its weak point... Almost like an aura...
As she was thinking, that woman from earlier, who had this uncanny resemblance to Ruby, gave Blake a serious look, as if she was conveying something... Without words. Blake seemed to nod in response, before the woman suddenly leaped into action, but instead of targetting the ginormous one, attacking the tower... She appeared to be
going after the screechers.
While Ruby cast a worried look down at the woman who had departed, she quickly pulled herself together... Looking up at the Titan again, and though she heard Sonic's suggestion, she appeared to have a slightly different plan in mind...
"We need to hit its nape with all we've got!" She said, pausing for a moment as she looked towards the side of the tower.
Then, her eyes fell on Yang for a moment, before she turned to Weiss.
"... Me and sis need a boost!... We gotta get to the top of that tower!" She called.
While this would likely be the first time Ruby was doing this with someone else, it was evident that she intended to have Weiss use her glyphs to help her (and Yang) get ontop of the tower... Where they could pummel that titan's nape, giving Cap, who was up there, some much needed assistance.
In the meantime, Blake turned towards Sonic, pausing for a moment as she looked towards the titan, taking a long, hard look at its heels, and its spinal area, before she turned back to the blue hedgehog.
"You take its back... I'm going for its achilles tendon." She said.
Well, it was a sound strategy, but it was strange; first her revalation about a titan's vulnerability at their nape of the neck, and now this... Despite supposedly never having encountered these things inher life before, she was oddly knowledgeable in their weak points... Just what was up with her?
In either case, it looked like Blake was ready to leap into action as soon as Ruby and her sister were able to scale that tower...

Those who followed in wake of the woman's departure began to notice
various mangled vehicles and weaponry that had once been active in the area... Mechs, androids, and even a gunship here and there... What's more was that each and every one appeared to have been
subject to severe heat, some of the still
on fire.
At last, when they found the woman, they appeared to have found someone, or something else as well... It was hard to tell , since any discernatble features were hidden underneath their mysterious outfit, save for a distinct, glowing, orange eye underneath all of that.
"You! Who are you?" Yelled the woman they had been following.
There was a brief pause, before the strange figure, dressed in mostly black spoke.
"I am... But a pawn... Like you. And I've come, to take back what is rightfully mine." It replied... Its voice was strangely distorted, likely by some sort of device within its mask.
"I don't care who you think you are... But I'm nothing like you!" She hissed.
It was then that the woman seemed to notice something that the figure had in one of its hands; a
device unlike the one that she had been using a few moments ago. Evidently, this seemed to further enrage her, as a burning look flared up in her eyes, with her irises themselves lighting up with a fiery glow.
"All I know... Is that you've interfered with my plans for the last time..." She added, with a rather chilling tone in her voice.
This drew a chuckle from the mysterious figure, before it spoke, having taken up a combative stance, not unlike the woman.
"Pawn or not... You will fall before me... Like the rest, Cinder." It said ominously.
With that the two charged towards each other... Engaging in some sort of battle, one of which appeared to take place so quickly, that they seemed to
outright vanish from sight, only appearing every so often as they clashed... With "Cinder", and the figure both both enveloped in a fiery aura.
As the battle raged on though, it was clear that
Cinder was losing; whoever this figure was, it seemed to have powers that resembled Cinder's, except... They were stronger than her, faster than her, and what's more was, that
Seisa could sense that this figure was the one who had challenged her.
In fact, whoever this figure was, it seemed that they might just have something to do with the mysterious appearance of these titans... And perhaps, even had a part to play in interfering with Seisa's abilities...
Whatever the case, it looks like the only way to resolve this was to
help Cinder, somehow.
While her opponent definitely had her outclassed in strength and speed, Cinder might just have an advantage if the figure could be
distracted, or
slowed down.
Fortunately, given their surroundings, there were
multiple weapons littering the ground, that had once been wielded by the now mangled androids laying there. What's more was that amongst all of this, there was
a few mechanized suits that were still functional... Sort of?
While they appeared inactive for the moment, laying limp on the ground, it appeared like there might be a way to
activate the suits, which might just give those who needed it... A little extra firepower, and maybe even a small advantage against Cinder's strange opponent, for whatever it may be worth...

The radio transmissions were a bit garbled, but they were just clear enough for Birdie to catch some important details. It seemed that he had listened in just in time to catch a particularly interesting broadcast...
"... Relentless attacks from these so called 'titans' have ravaged the Kingdom of Vale, with no ending in sight.
As the battle rages on, there have been reports of mysterious flashes of blue light, responsible for the
disappearance of three individuals; Glynda Goodwitch, Jaune Arc, and Cardin Winchester.
Any and all information about their whereabouts would be greatly appreciated."
The transmission appears to cut out from there, but perhaps there might be something later? Hard to say, seeing as the signal appeared to be a bit weaker now than it was before, likely attributed to whatever was receiving these signals being damaged for one reason or another.
In the meantime,
A2, and any others checking the front lines could see something approaching in the distance; a
massive group of titans in fact... Fortunately, with no screechers in sight, that appeared to be
sprinting towards the safezone, not just that, but there appeared to be what looks like a
female titan leading them!
Unlike the other titans, she appeared to possess a degree of intelligence, with her sights set on the few
mechanized units that were stationed here, along with a few
gun emplacements. However, just before she got into their range of fire, she suddenly stopped, allowing the rest of the titans to
charge past her, using them as meatshields against the forces that attempted to stave them off, as she made her was closer and closer to the front lines... Seeming to be preparing to
leap clean over it the first chance she got, which likely wouldn't bode well for the civilians that were being sheltered here...

It seemed that the
Azuma's axe quickly drew its attention, as it suddenly slid to a halt... Turning around as it raised both of its hands,
catching the blade with some incredible precision.
Selene in the meanwhile, appeared to be having
no luck with controlling the titan... As it would appear that there was a
stronger force controlling it already, one that appeared to have no difficulty shaking off Selene's mental influence....
On the other hand,
Wes's pokemon, who had attacked its heels with whirlwind and flamethrower appeared to have made a little headway... The strange, bony growths that were protecting its heals were beginning to
show cracks in them... And thanks to
Eygon, the creature appeared to be
guided towards him... Beginning to
lumber in his direction.
It was, however, momentarily
halted by the Huntress's grapple line, but unfortunately... Not for long; the creature's brute strength alone allowed it to
snap the line binding its legs, only producing a momentary stumble before it continued towards
Eygon, intending to
bring both of its fists down upon him.
Through all of this though, Howlett was able to
land on the titan just fine, however... His claws appeared to be
unable to penetrate the titan's armored nape, but not because of the material that made up its armor alone. In fact, what seemed to be protecting its nape, above all else, was a
mysterious shimmering that flickered across its nape briefly. Some sort of protective aura perhaps?
In either case, it would appear that unless he could
break through this aura, its nape would be well protected... But, it seemed that there might be a good chance of doing so it he could somehow
grab the attention of some of the forces operating the artillery up on the walls.
Most of them were more focused on keeping
a large horde of approaching screecher titans at bay, however, if this big, armored titan could be felled before it could make another attempt to breach the walls... This line of defense might actually hold...
