Blake looked a little shaken when Weiss marched towards her, seeming quite fearfull of her teammate all of a sudden, or perhaps there was something else that made her feel this way?

IIqgHkh.png

"I... You don't understand... I'm not-..." She started, but... For the better or worse, Ironwood's arrival interrupted their conversation.

After hearing what the general had to say, she nodded towards Weiss, still seeming a bit uneasy for some reason.

Ruby, while still looking puzzled about Blake's mysterious behavior, snapped out of her state when Weiss asked her what she should do... Pausing to think for a moment before she narrowed her eyes, seeming to have suddenly had a thought.

2bw1IO0.png

"The tower-... We can't let it fall!" She proclaimed.

Her mind went back to that illusion she had seen during that Civil War at the coalition... And though she knew none of it had been real, this situation felt awfully familiar, and... Somehow... She had this impending feeling that Beacon tower was in danger, and an pressing urge to keep it standing, but yet... It was hard to say why.

In either case though, the team leader's decision seemed apparent, and fortunately, there was plenty of room on the ship headed for Beacon Tower....

...

In the end, those who got onto the ship headed to Beacon Tower were accompanied by team RWBY, amongst a few other fighters... However, just before the ship left for the tower, a mysterious passenger climbed aboard.

yHnMnl0.jpg

While no-one really seemed to recognize her, she appeared to bear an outfit that had an eery resemblance to Ruby's... And what's more was that, Ruby seemed to notice this... But she didn't really say anything for the time being, instead, turning her attention out the ship windows.

Huh...

Nonetheless, when everyone finally did arrive at their destination, the ship landing near the tower... It was evident that numerous titans had already gathered around the tower which loomed in the distance... Most being engaged with the few remaining ground forces stationed there, and amongst them, even a few screechers, like the one they had encountered in the stadium.

mP5pVwC.jpg

However, there was a particularly tall titan that seemed to loom over the others... Standing at a rough 60 meters; 4 times the size of the largest titans that had been encountered at the stadium. Like the other titans, it seemed to be drawn to the tower for some reason... Its massive hands beginning to tear away at the top of the structure.

Looks like they had arrived a little too late to intercept that group of titans, but nonetheless... It was apparent that these titans, especially the large one... Who appeared to lack any sort of skin, with its muscle tissue completely exposed, would pose a significant problem to Beacon Tower... As long as its attention was focused on it.

@Stowaways

Those who stowed away on the ship found the ship to be mostly devoid of personell, minus the mysterious woman who had got on... And was currently piloting the ship, from which she seemed to have locked herself in the cockpit to do so. This was further confirmed by Giorno's snake, and Ben, when he had been prowling the ship. Fortunately, it seemed that the pilot was more occupied with flying the ship than checking for any stoaways.

A distinct antiseptic smell permeated the craft, indicating that it was once some sort of ship intended for medical purposes... And there were even a variety of medical supplies littering the place.

For those who were able to peer out a window, at the city below, they could notice at least four large airships, that appeared to have been grounded, on the account of their surfaces having been covered with dozens of screecher titans, that were somehow feeding off of whatever was powering them.

However, it seemed that wherever this pilot was going, it was a little ways from these ships, and actually, seemed to be heading towards a more isolated part of the city... Where it seemed that most of the titans had left, demolishing many buildings, and whatever troops may have been placed there.

When the ship finally landed, there was a brief pause before she stepped out of the cockpit, wearing a different outfit than she had on in that stadium; a red dress, with golden lacing of some sort... Accompanied by some black slippers, and a strange anklet, along with a few other accessories.

For the briefest of moments, she appeared to look towards the ship vents, and cast her eyes around the ship itself, like she had caught on that there had been stowaways... But fortunately, her attention was drawn by a sudden beeping noise coming from her pocket, of which in response she pulled out a strange device, looking it over carefully.

Though, as she wasd doing so, all of a sudden, what looked like a ball of mysterious light flew in from somewhere near Beacon tower, striking the woman's body...

1gl4rBq.png

Though she smiled at first, flaming circles surrounding her eyes, that smile quickly faded... As her eyes narrowed, looking off in the direction that light had come from... And in the blink of an eye, she took off, towards the direction the light had come from, with a speed one could hardly follow...

Perhaps it would be for the best to follow her? As it seemed that she had an idea what was going on, either that or one could just loiter around the area, seeing that it was safe... For now, but of course, there were no guarantees, considering that these titans appeared to be attracted to the mere presense of humans... Along with those who had come through that time gate...

Interestingly enough though, regardless of what Seisa chose, she seemed to feel some sort of presense that was somehow challenging her from the direction that mysterious woman had run off in... ... Could this be the reason her powers hadn't worked back up in that stadium?

@Inner City

Those who hopped onto the airship to the inner city, might notice multiple, smaller airships flying to the same location, along with a few other airships... Not unlike the one they were riding; evidently there were a good number of civilians accompanying them to the inner city, but there was no telling how long one could find refuge with the situation going as it is...

Landing in the inner city, it became pretty apparent that the location itself was pretty heavily guarded, though perhaps not as much as the outskirts. Many civilians were dotted around the area, and a few radios seemed to be broadcasting various channels, all of the appearing to be talking of the mysterious arrival of these "titans".

Interestingly enough though, in addition to what appeared to be standard looking soldiers... Equipped with rifles, and occasionally, heavier weaponry, there appeared to be mysterious people lingering around, wearing masks of some sort, and bearing a strange, red, symbol on their backs. Like the soldiers, they were also armed, but unlike most of the soldiers... They seemed to have distinctive animal parts growing out of their otherwise human-like forms.

Who... Where they?

Other than that though, it seemed like there were no approaching titans yet, save for a few stragglers which were quickly taken care of by weapons fire directed towards its nape... But, considering the state many of the people near the front of this line of defense were in, it wasn't going to be long before they had company.

For the time being though, one could either take the time to recuperate, perhaps listen into the radio transmissions, or even take up watch near the front lines... In either case... Perhaps it was wise to take advantage of this moment of calm, while it lasted anyways. Fortunately, it seemed that there might just be a mysterious force protecting the area for the time being, or at least, something that might be reducing the amount of titan activity around this area.

While many titans fell, it seemed that many more were constantly rushing at the walls from the horizon, but for the time being... Due to the heavy artillery the forces defending the walls had, the titans appeared to be held back for now.

As their ship dropped them off, something felt wrong... As if there was a dark influence that heightened titan activity in this area, and not only that... But, looming in the distance there appeared to be a large titan, around 15 meters tall.
46VidMx.png

While the details couldn't quite be made out from where they were, one this was pretty clear; the creature was covered from head to toe in some sort of natural armor... And in a swift movement, it poised itself, like an athlete lining themselves up before a race, before it suddenly broke into a sprint, charging towards the walls.

While it would take it a little while to reach its intended target, it was evident that it intended to ram it with its body... Which wouldn't bode well for the efforts to uphold the front line, but, if it could be felled, or at least, slowed before it could collide with the walls, perhaps they would have a chance?

"Well, well! Lookie here! Not one monster to be found!" Birdie grinned at A2. "You just kept our arses out of trouble, kid! If I wore hats, I'd be tippin' mine to ya."

Scratching the arse that A2 had saved, Birdie plopped down by a radio, unceremoniously plunking Wheatley down beside him to use as an arm rest. He produced a banana from God knows where and started eating, and he'd listen to radio transmissions to pass the time here in safety.

After the woman stopped looking at the vents and ship, Nanomech and Buddy quietly left the vents, before the former turned back into Ben, human body and human flesh.

Ben caught a glimpse of the woman as a flash of light shone upon her. He knew how she looked, but who was she, exactly?

Nevertheless, the stealth continued.

The woman suddenly took off at very high agilities that were humanly impossible, but they were definitely possible in the eyes of another species.

Ben dialed and slammed his Omnitrix down once more, preparing to transform once more...

2fsBhck.jpg

"XLR8..." the being that took Ben's place, 'XLR8', whispers. "She's too slow..." XLR8 whispering mocks the odd woman, before swiftly picking Buddy, Solis and Rui up, then moving at great speeds that could potentially rival the odd woman manyfold, pursuing her. After catching up with her to the point of being 30 to 40 metres away, XLR8 paced himself to match the woman's speed, occasionally being slightly faster.

7YTLE1Z.jpg

"Sorry in advanced," XLR8 says to Buddy, Rui and Solis, "gotta go fast if we're gonna get her."

Throughout the entire path, XLR8 would sneak behind obstacle after obstacle, his speed so fast, no one would notice that he was sprinting between points.

(Evidence of this feat)

Also, the four minute mark of this video

XLR8 snuck behind obstacles made from debris every time he felt that the woman would turn behind, to avoid detection. Using great speeds, he would rush towards aforementioned obstacles before she could turn her neck a single inch.

"I simply only suggested that so I have the time to finish my self-repairs. Not that I'll be stationary while being unable to fight as expected, there must be something that I can look into here..."

A2 didn't seem to really acknowledge the sign of thanks coming from Birdie. It wasn't normal to be thanked so casually, or rather that it's been a long time since she had that type of response. As an Attacker model, A2 didn't really stomach the idea of going through radio transmissions or going into sleep mode so soon. She had to remember that she was still technically recovering, but she felt the need to get something done. Even if it were a little bit of progress being picked up on...

"I'll take a look around. Don't do anything stupid that I have to clean up after."

The android dismissed herself from their company briefly to check on the front lines in the inner city they were located at. She couldn't fight, but with the recorded data she got from fighting those titans earlier, she could at least warn the others present once she gets a single sign of one incoming.

"...Blake...-"

Briefly, upon noting her teammate's expression, Weiss actually appeared concerned more than anything else. Despite her seeming annoyance with Blake, such words as her prior ones were only borne from worry for her. Something was clearly wrong. First her lack of recollection of her semblance, and her more eager violent tendencies, and now...

Now the girl seemed scared of her.

That fact might have been the most painful.

But she couldn't linger. Couldn't let herself get to enveloped in the recollections of the disapproval, scorn and fear she had always been shown by others throughout her life. Ruby's voice, that determined statement that they needed to defend the tower, managed to snap her out of it. Taking a deep breath and glancing to her leader with a renewed aura of determination, she nodded, clenching her rapier with a serious expression. They had come this far already, there was no way they could let the tower fall, now. Team RWBY was not composed of pushovers, or they would've given up long ago.

"I suppose this is what we signed up for as huntresses."

And so they departed, only, as they boarded the ship to the tower, Weiss found her gaze happening upon a stranger that oddly resembled her leader. If only in her clothing choice. Briefly, she found herself staring, looking to Ruby as though to ask about the matter, only to(upon realizing her leader was occupied), instead look to Yang with a befuddled expression. As though, perhaps, she knew something about the matter. But she couldn't linger, for soon enough? They had arrived.

As soon as the landing process had begun, Weiss was all ready to depart, rushing to the exit with loud clicks of her heels as soon as her team appeared ready. Only to gawk at the sight of the massive titan headed right for the tower, briefly stunned by it's size and rendered only able to stare for a few moments.

1241241%2032_zpssiqnmxu2.png

"...Right. So this may be a slightly larger issue than I first anticipated," she muttered, momentarily looking less than enthusiastic. "I don't suppose you happen to have a plan?" It was a question proposed mostly for Ruby and her teammates, but at this point, it was likely the heiress was willing to hear anyone out on this.

Evidently not having cared to pipe up or try to interact with any of the other boarders of the ship, or anything of the like, Wes was silent up until the moment they arrived at the outskirts. And even then as he hopped out of the aircraft, he wasn't exactly talkative, only bothering to utter anything to, well, his Pokemon. Though, he did mutter one, small thing under his breath before then.

"...What a pain in the ass."

And with those words, Wes unhitched something from his satchel, producing a familiar, small, red, black, and white orb. Without any flare, he threw it to the ground, it bouncing ones before unleashing a badger-like Pokemon with flames generating from it's back. With slightly more compassion about him, he spoke, not hesitating to call orders to both this newly released Pokemon or the owl-like one that still remained by him from before. "Alright then. We're gonna do what we can to stop whatever the hell these things are, right?" Wes remarked, not expecting an answer. "Right. So, we're gonna serve up that little special I taught you. Whirlwind and flamethrower. Aim for the heels. Got it?"

Admittedly, the male hardly seemed fond of or eager about the course of action he was taking in helping these people. He hardly had time to go out of his way to help some lowlifes that would likely turn around and use this act of kindness, this chance at life when they easily could have died, to do bad. But Wes was well aware of what consequences he would face from Rui alone if he stood back and did nothing... Let alone the new kids they were stuck rolling with til they were out of this situation.

What a drag.

Their target wasn't hard to spot. "Does the ship have any form of weapons on it?" The thing attacking the tower was colossal and she wasn't quite sure if there was anything that they could do.

CADC8_zpswuovas5h.png

But she sure as hell was going to try. "Protect that tower, I'm going to go and distract that thing."

CADC28_zpsvyr0ump3.png

Danielle leaped on top of her shield and flew towards the the colossal titan trying to break in. If it worked similarly to the others then a strike at its need was enough to take it down. At least in theory. Coming up close to it hopefully it was too distracted attacking the tower to notice her. With a leap she attempted to get unto the nape of the neck to deliver her blow to the titan.

As they landed Howlett popped his claws as he saw the armored titan.

"So Dorian, you got anything in your bag of magic tricks that can topple that thing?" While Howlett was certain he could pierce the hide of giant with his claws, the size difference. "We just need to get to the neck, but I ain't gonna climb that thing."

Upon reaching the tower, Sonic had been caught off guard by the sheer size of the largest Titan. He was expecting something big, but not this big! Needless to say, his smirk disappeared and he would turn to Weiss when she asked about the plan.

"I'll go for that thing's legs. You and the others get high." He then turned to Ruby, a small smile forming on his face. "You! Stay with me and go for his other leg." Sonic stated with a grin. Before anyone could object, the hedgehog was already speeding off toward the large titan's leg in the form of a small, but hopefully affective, spindash.

"Whatever they throw at us, we'll be ready!"
Sonic announced proudly with a genuine grin just plastered on his face as he slammed his fist down into his palm.

"Blaze, you're fine. We're not gonna fall. I mean, I ride with Tails on the wing of the Tornado all the time, and I never fall off." Sonic said, still grinning as he ran over to Blaze's seat and rested an elbow on the back of her chair.

"Besides, we'll probably be way too focused on kicking some serious monster butt to even worry about those heights." Sonic stated before nodding in agreement when JD chimed in.

"That's the multiverse for you." Howlett replied to Huntress. "I've met myself a few times, and people that are close to me." He listened to her tale about another Hercules and the rest of her predicament. "That does sound like a Hercules. And yeah...like I said I bet that general guy doesn't care to look a gift horse in the mouth. They need all the help they can get."

Meanwhile back on the ship Danielle had to chuckle at Blaze's reaction. "I'll take that as a no on the flying part."

Cap turned towards JD. "Nothing wrong with being scared, especially if it's something you've never done before."

To Sonic Danielle could just shrug. "It's not always that simple. Punching things real hard is not the end all fix to problems."

"I'm not questioning your abilities right now, but there is clearly something else going on other then giants sprouting out of the ground. We need to find the source before can fix the problem."

Blaze burst, and got all up in a huff over having her confidence around great heights be questioned; the topic was clearly a sore nerve for the ordinarily unexpressive princess.

@Jeremi @Takumi

"Though I'd still take my Ocean Tornado over your rickety antique airplane any day!" she added, with nary a care for any attachment to his Tornado Sonic might have.

Sonic would let out a sigh and place a reaffirming hand on the feline's shoulder.

"Blaze, it's fine. We're safe up here." Sonic stated in an attempt to calm the princess down a bit.

"Also, don't diss the Tornado. Tails and I worked hard on that thing." Sonic said half seriously, but with a very small smirk.

JD couldn't helped but be amused by all of this.

Turning Danielle, he chuckled.

"I guess you have a point." he replied. Even if he agreed, that wouldn't stop him from having a little fun every now and then.

When they reached the tower, JD felt at a disadvantage. At least there were more capable fighters who'd have a better time than him fighting the big one.

Shion frowned as he watched the woman run off. He doubted he'd be able to really go after her, but knew that if he stayed it could run the risk of possibly being cornered. With a sigh he ran after those that moved to follow, keeping an eye out for any Titans while also keeping as close an eye as possible on the woman and those following her.

Azuma raised her hand up, a small glow beginning to gather in her palm. She stomped the ground, flying high into the sky. Soon the glow in her hand began to materialize, forming an axe. If he wore armor, then she'd crush him and the armor. Recalling the weakness of the nape of the neck, trying to get behind a sprinting giant and doing a precision cut sounded annoying. Too small a target, moving too fast.

The axe in Azuma's hand grew. It grew like a beanstalk, quickly dwarfing the young girl as she held it.

Upon landing, Blaze breathed a heavy sigh of relief; the sight of land easily put her nerves at ease. She scrambled to escape the ship as soon as she was able and, if not for the titan presence, may just have knelt down and kissed the very ground.

Taking a gander up at the titan of truly awesome size, and then at the surrounding "giants" that flanked him, it begged the question:

"Just how does anything grow that large?!" Blaze sputtered out in sheer disbelief, "...no matter. We can't focus all our efforts into it; we need to stop all of them. Who's willing to help wrangle the little ones?"

Swimming was very easy for the Zora. She could swim up a waterfall. Jumping? Not as much.

Appearing out of nowhere, now on the Titian's shoulder, Selene's shadow form slinked around he creature.

"There is more to this monster than it appears. Sometimes the best attack comes from the inside."

Being a very powerful telepath, Selene chuckled wildly as she mental focused on the Titian's brain, beating it down and making it submissive. Selene would try to take control of the titian.

Alexandra Kalomoira Aka Huntress

Alexandra moved up behind Howlet.

" Mister Howlet, how good are you at being thrown ? This used to work pretty well with my cousin !. Ready ! Set ! Go !"

With that, as long as he doesn't complain, she will grab him and toss him up closer to it's shoulders. After that, she'll work on tripping him with the grapple line, having watched Empire strikes back several times to many.

"Right now I think we can try anything." It was worth the shot. His healing factor would protect from any serious injury. "Aim me for the stomach. I'll claw my way in if I need to." He clanged his claws together readying for Huntress to take the shot. When thrown he'd have his arms forward. Even if that thing was armored, his adamantite coated claws could in theory break through anything coming his way.

"..."

Little went through Shichika's head when the large stowaway party had landed, reacting little to the others wasting effort in using their strange powers for whatever. And it all availed to nothing. The swordsman could only stay silent and practically meditate to himself, thinking on his situation. This was such a bizarre scenario that he could hardly wrap his head around, despite the jarring calm that he showed externally. He was surrounded by so many people with strange powers, stowed away on a machine that was capable of lifting off like a bird and soaring in the skies...

He was definitely far from home.

As the ship eventually landed and the ominous woman began walking away, Shichika, presumably along with most others of the group, began following, in a rather more subtle manner than Ben chose to, evidently, the young man keeping his head down and following her, having taken an interest in her after deducing that she was not with that strange tall man from earlier who had talked to everyone like they were soldiers or something.

What a pain.

Interestingly enough though, regardless of what Seisa chose, she seemed to feel some sort of presense that was somehow challenging her from the direction that mysterious woman had run off in... ... Could this be the reason her powers hadn't worked back up in that stadium?
Well that was strange.

A challenging feeling could be exciting in the right circumstances, but being a stowaway on a ship was not one of those times. Her Killing Art hadn't worked on the strange shockwaves earlier, and normally a feeling of challenge wasn't something felt from a complete stranger. Either someone she knew was in that direction, or something else fishy was going on.

As much as she thought it prudent to avoid moving in that direction, in a world separate from hers she had to take some risks if she wanted to figure anything out and get back.

For now, Seisa decided to follow, trying her best to not be conspicuous.

Blaze turned to approach Mipha with open ears, and took a brief moment to mull over the soft-spoken Zora's request, before Blaze lifted her off her feet and into a bridal carry.

"Hold on tight, and don't squirm, okay? Everything I'm about to do I've done countless times over, and under extreme duress. In other words...just trust me," the athletic Mobian affirmed with a confident smile before speeding off to find a good vantage point with Mipha in tow. Carrying an ally into battle was an insignificant price to pay for their aid, although it was yet to be seen just how helpful Mipha would be.

---

While the details couldn't quite be made out from where they were, one this was pretty clear; the creature was covered from head to toe in some sort of natural armor... And in a swift movement, it poised itself, like an athlete lining themselves up before a race, before it suddenly broke into a sprint, charging towards the walls.

While it would take it a little while to reach its intended target, it was evident that it intended to ram it with its body... Which wouldn't bode well for the efforts to uphold the front line, but, if it could be felled, or at least, slowed before it could collide with the walls, perhaps they would have a chance?
Eygon examined the titan carefully and knew that this would not be an easy foe to take down, considering its armor and speed. Compared to the Giants in his homeworld, these 'titans' were much more formidable. They seemed to be a bit faster both physically and mentally.

He readied his great hammer and great shield, rushing to meet his new opponent.
The girl confronted the creature from the front as she swung her enormous axe at its neck!
Once again, there was Azuma with her comically large axes. Eygon still never figured out how she was able to hold such huge weapons. She had said that she could only wield "her" axes, which didn't explain much.
Appearing out of nowhere, now on the Titan's shoulder, Selene's shadow form slinked around the creature.

Being a very powerful telepath, Selene chuckled wildly as she mental focused on the Titan's brain, beating it down and making it submissive. Selene would try to take control of the titan.
As Eygon got closer to the titan, he prepared to attack. However, he noticed a strange woman standing atop its shoulder. He had no idea who she was. All he knew was that she appeared to lack physical prowess.

"Do you have a death wish or something? What the hell are you doing up there?"

Of course, telepathy is invisible. He had no way of knowing what she was actually doing.
He clanged his claws together readying for Huntress to take the shot. When thrown he'd have his arms forward. Even if that thing was armored, his adamantite coated claws could in theory break through anything coming his way.
Howlett came flying toward the titan at this moment.

Now that he had several allies helping him defeat the titan, (If Selene's mind control failed) Eygon decided to use his great shield's Skill. With his mace resting on his right shoulder and his great shield in his left hand, he put his great shield in front of himself and performed a silent prayer, causing the shield to inaudibly exhale, almost like a moan.

121b256e55814f35938feae1ca43dc4c.png

It worked like a dog whistle; only the titan could hear it and it would immediately respond by targeting Eygon instead of the others (hopefully). Since Eygon was a tank compared to his allies, he thought that soaking up the damage would help significantly.
