"Oooh! So you're keeping me away from my shiny?" Jury Rigg cackles at the masked being's taunts. "No one keeps me away from my shiny!"

Jury Rigg looks around as the masked one deconstructs the androids in the reverse manner in which he constructed them. The next phase of his plan commences.

"Heeheehee!"

Jury Rigg's next phase of his plan was primarily identical to his first phase, where he would continue to reconstruct fallen androids that by memory, were not the ones he had previously reconstructed before the odd attack deconstructed them. Once again, he rewired them to target the masked one.

He was very well aware that the masked one could just deconstruct this batch of gears and metal too.

"That's for keeping me away from my shiny!"

Jury Rigg looks down at his Omnitrix emblem for a bit. "Can't stay Jury Rigg for much longer, but I've got long enough before I have to change to something else! Heeheehee!"

Taking advantage of the time the masked one was using to strike Seisa, as well as the time in which other parties were using to attack the masked one, Jury Rigg executes his plan.

E9zHYRf.png

"Break break break! Break brakes! Break break break! Heeheehee! Now for the best part! Fix fix! Fix fix fix fix! Fix fix! But even, even better!"

Jury Rigg appeared to be deconstructing a couple surrounding damaged gunships and a car, before he started to reconstruct them at monstrous speeds. The result was a titanic vehicle that looked like it could hold all allies in area with some backspace. Its husk was a metallic yellow, yet not lustrous enough to be called gold. The way its wheels were aligned seemed to resemble that of a roadroller - a humongous, roofed roadroller* that could carry quite a number of people, as far as external appearances were concerned.

That was the closest description one could give.

The inside of the vehicle, on the other hand, would indicate that it was not a construction vehicle of any kind, and had more similarities to a battleship. The most notable of buttons on the inside was the ability to shift between land and sky modes. Presumably, this form was the land mode.

There seemed to be an odd, circular external compartment in the front of the vehicle. Jury Rigg stood on it.

pAGlZCD.png

"My new toy is missing something. Oh wait, I am the something! Heeheehee! Now, just need to time it right..."

While the fight was going on, Jury Rigg prepares to press the Omnitrix emblem on his chest, as if preparing for another phase of his plan.

"Any second now... any minute... please be soon..."

"Skree-ee-ee!"

Buddy proceeds to launch what could be identified as Shadow Ball. Due to the ghostly nature of the move, Shadow Ball was aimed for an area in front of the masked being, and when it was in the masked one's line of trajectory, made a curve to aim at it! Even if it was negated or sliced, it would be able to slow the masked one down.

It looks like the figure, in all its fury, was stalled just long enough by Buddy's shadow ball, which only gave it a window of opportunity for one swipte towards Seisa before it was abruptly knocked back by the attack a little.

Just enough time for Cinder to produce two, black blades from what looked to be thin air... Knocking the figure back with a series of strikes when it was still dazed, causing that orange shimmer to course through its body again, but it looked like it was weaker than before. Perhaps whatever was protecting this figure was beginning to falter?

However, the figure didn't seem perturbed by this, taking another moment to raise its hands, that device it had holstered on its belt lighting up again as Jury Rigg's re-assembled machines began to disassemble once more. This time, though, it seemed to take more time before the reassembled machines came apart. That and it seemed to leave Jury Rigg's custom made vehicle intact... Perhaps thanks to the complexity of its construction.

Either that or the figure's powers were beginning to falter thanks to Seisa's efforts, which was likely why the figure was so focused on her. In fact, once it had dealt with Jury Rigg's re-assembled machines, it would likely be focusing on Seisa again....

Narrowing her eyes, Selene did as Howlette, motioning the soilders to join their attack. However, Selene had some news to share.

"It seems this creature is being shared by another. Hmm, this peeks my interest,"

Using her shadow manipulation, Selene would try to wrap around the creature's massive arms and legs. I that worked, Selene would try to drain it's life force."

Selene and Howlett's efforts to draw the attention of the nearby artillery emplacements payed off; the creature's entire backside was suddenly lit up with a barrage of explosive projectiles... Notably aiming for its nape, causing the shimmering around it to become brighter and brighter.

Immoblized by the combined efforts of those fighting the creature, notably Selene's powers, it was left vulnerable to attacks on the breaches that had been made in its armor... Not just that, but in tandem with Selene's powers, the artillery fire aimed towards its nape suddenly caused the shimmering to flicker and fade, and in mere moments, it would leave its nape vulnerable for an attack.

However, as a result, it looks like two screechers were beginning to rush towards the titan, seeming to have lost interest in the wall after the artillery's attention was diverted from them... This might complicate matters a little, but at least the Armored Titan was going to be out of the picture relatively soon...

Danielle's incredible strength certainly did catch the ginormous titan off-guard, as its strike was abruptly caught, by someone that seemed almost like an insect, in comparison to its size. However, it wasn't shaken for long, as it suddenly reared back, turning away from the tower as it sought to slam its shoulder against it in hopes of crushing Danielle in the process.

However, as it did so, it also happened to leave its nape exposed to an attack from the tower...

In the meantime, Blake and Sonic, appeared to be working away at taking down the creature a notch or two; Sonic's attacks on its spine were making its way down into its deeper tissues, but thanks to the constant bursts of scalding steam from its skin... It may take a little while longer to immobilize it.

Blake was also experiencing a similar problem, but... Nonetheless, she was working at tearing away at its achilles tendons at the back of its legs. Once the process was complete, the creature would likely end up toppling over, unable to stand until it could regenerate from its injuries anyways...

The new arrivals caught both the figure, and Cinder, by surprise... The latter quickly moving out of the way, noticing that they were all about to strike at the figure.

Though Buddy's hyper voice failed to extinguish the figure's flames on account of them being part of some sort of mysterious aura or something... This did end up resulting in a volley of sharp cards heading the figure's way... But it didn't seem phased, at all, effortlessly dodging them with incredible speed.

As Buddy's valiant, but unfortunately so far, fruitless efforts continued... Metal creaked and groaned, as the ruined bodies of multiple Atlas androids and mechs were reconstructed thanks to Jury Rigg. It seems like the odds were evened, even for just the moment, however, as Buddy, equipped with a much stronger suit, and much more formideable weaponry began to unleash a hail of ordinance towards the figure, it appeared to exert some considerable effort to protect against it all.

While it was dodging the sudden barrage of projectiles and weapons fire coming its way, with some degree of difficulty this time... It raised its hands, and suddenly... The androids that had once been reassembled by Jury Rigg were beginning to fall apart, as if the very process in which they were put together, had suddenly been re-versed, like time, for these constructions, had suddenly been reversed briefly.

The figure's efforts nearly left it vulnerable though, as Jury Rigg's hands just barely grasped onto the figure's device before it caught wind of his efforts... Moving away a few meters in a swift motion, wagging its fingers towards the crafty little creature in a mocking fashion, which proved to be a tactical error on its part.

Gold Experience, having decided to strike the figure, whether by intention, or a fluke in its brief moment of arrogance was able to land blows on the figure... But, despite being struck with two, faster than light speed assailants at the same time, the figure was quick to recover... And once it did, it tucked the device it was holding into tis belt, freeing up both of its hands in order to block the incoming attacks with an frightening precision, apparently capable of matching their speeds in combat, through some mysterious means.

Occupied with this, however, allowed Shichika's blows to land on the figure... And if it weren't for a mysterious organge shimmer that suddenly cropped upa rounds its body, protecting it... It probably would have been torn apart, but yet... There it stood, quickly sending off a wave of flames in an effort to scorch its assailants at a close range... Evidently a little overwhelmed by all these attacks.

However, Dio just then, froze time immediately after the figure's attack, seemingly gaining a some leverage over the figure... That is, until it moved, appearing to have been able to resist this ability. The device it was now keeping in its belt appeared to light up momentarily as the figure prepared to block Dio's blows like it did with Giorno and Gold Experience, but yet... Something was... Off this time.

Its speed was diminishing, and its movements becoming sluggish, allowing blows from both Dio and his stand to slip through, producing a strange orange shimmer on its body, just like the one that had protected it from Shichika in the process. The figure quickly seemed to pick up on this though, and with that, it concentrated, that device on its belt lighting up again, as it suddenly raised its hands... Somehow allowing time to flow once again, causing everything to unfreeze.

With that development, its gaze seemed to suddenly focus on Seisa, clearly having sensed her interference in the battle. While her ability was unable to dissipate her flames or powers, and the figure seemed unphased by the lack of light, it had certainly interfered with whatever ability it had to distort time, space... And it sure wasn't happy about it.

With a clear intent to kill in mind... The figure suddenly charged towards Seisa, a fiery aura enveloping its body... Intending to hit Seisa with multiple swipes from its claw-like gloves. However, it seemed a bit slower than before, indicating that Seisa's powers had actually affected it a little... Huh...

Kara on the other hand, did manage to find a place to change into her costume, allowing her to hit the figure with a freeze ray... Unfortunately though, it seemed to have no effect, as it was negated by the fiery aura it currently had around it, as it was evidently being used to bolster its speed as it charged towards Seisa.

On the other hand, it appeared that Cinder had sprung into action, and was attempting to intercept the figure before it reached its target... Though, it looks like she alone, was not quite fast enough to reach it in time.

...

Noembelu in the meantime happened to notice two mechanized suits that were now in working order thanks to Jury Rigg's efforts, apparently untouched by the figure's attempt to undo Jury's efforts, unlike the re-trashed androids and the like on the field. Perhaps a little long distance support would work?

Other than that though, minus a few guns and weapons, not unlike the ones that had been found inside that crashed airship at the stadium, there didn't seem to be much else of note in the area... Save for the heaps of rubble, wreckage, and a few bodies here and there.

Connor had a sound strategy, but unfortunately... This titan was aware of its weakness, and in a flash, it brough up a hand to protect against Connor's shots. While enough would have been able to penetrate the muscle tissue of most titans, this one appeared to have a way to counteract this; a blue, crystaline substance suddenly coated its hand, appearing to protect it against harm for the moment.

A2 in the meantime wouldn't find it hard to snatch a weapon from one of the unsuspecting soldiers on the front lines, who had been occupied with firing away at the titan horde rushing towards them... Like the others, aiming to prevent them from advancing past the front lines, resulting in a few words of protest.

"Whoa! Hey! What are you-..." He started, but seemed to stop, noticing what A2 was shooting at with her newly acquired weapon.

Though, she too was experiencing the same issue was Connor was; the shots from her weapon were being protected against by patches of a blue, crystaline substance that sprouted from the titan's skin... However, it was noted that the substance only seemed to crop up whenever a shot was fired... And once the shot was deflected it seemed to fade away. However, A2 seemed to notice that the female titan was prioritizing its weak spots, and neglecting, or unable to protect other parts of its body from stray shots coming from the front lines.

As the battle continued, with a few soldiers that were able to turn their attention away from the front lines pitching in, A2 heard the (somewhat) familiar voice from the soldier she had taken the gun from earlier hollering out to her.

"Here! Catch!" He shouted.

Promptly tossing a cartridge of some sort towards A2, and if she happened to catch it... She would notice that it had a blue snowflake shape painted on the side. Perhaps this would help slow the female titan down? But if that were the case, it was probably a good idea to aim for the titan's joints.

@Jeremi (Howlett) @Atomyk @Gands @MetalNova @Otto @Krieg

Howlett was certainly doing a number on the titan's back, but it would seem that the underside of its nape was protected by this aura as well. Not just that, but just before the tissue began healing up again, forcing him to retreat from his little tunnel before he was entrapped inside with it, he could swear ther he saw someone's feet above him, roughly where the nape is... Was he just going insane? Or could there actually be someone inside this creature's nape?

Nonetheless Howlett's efforts did end up creating a gaping hole in the titan's back at least, which could prove to be a good point to strike with perhaps some explosives, perhaps... But it was quickly beginning to heal up, which would leave one only a small window of opportunity to take advantage of this.

Eygon, having had the creature's attention appeared to be able to temporarily fend off its fists... Halting them just long enough for Eygon to raise his shield in time to just barely block its fists, and thanks to Huntress, who happened to be attempting to trip it by moving its leg... Eygon was able to land a solid blow on the back of its knee, causing a rather sizeable crack in the bone tissue that made up its armor. The combined efforts of both causing the creature to stumble momentarily, windmilling its arms in an almost comic fashion before it regained his footing.

Hmm... Perhaps with more force applied, they might actually be able to topple this thing? Either that or someone could just call attention to the artillery ontop of the walls. Though with a portion of the artillery's attention moved away from the screechers that were rushing the walls, it was likely that this may draw the attention of a few screecher titans in the process...

JD moved to dodge and help take down any of the smaller titans with as much strength in his blows as possible, being careful to avoid being grabbed and would make sure that when the Colossal would fall he wouldn't be in the way at all.

Shion moved to use one of the mechanized suits laying around untouched, hoping to use some distant attacks to help intercept the masked figure from landing a hit on Seisa or any of the others, and hopefully distract it from them.

'Close up attacks are not an option, I wouldn't be fast enough anyway, but something needs to be done. And giving her enough time to get out of the way or retaliate will determine how things may play out from now on. ' he thought as he would keep his eyes on his target.

"Heeheehee!" Jury Rigg, noticing that the masked being's power seemed to dwindle bit by bit, laughs. Once again, Jury Rigg's reconstructed, rewired, Atlas androids would fall to pieces, at a noticeably slower pace.

Her pace was slow, and it was getting slower as time continued to pass.

A good opportunity was present once the masked one's focus was away from the freshly-deconstructed androids and back onto Seisa.

Jury Rigg slaps the emblem on his chest for one more transformation, unleashing a flash of green light before a mechanical being, with a yellow metal husk that seemed to match the recently-constructed vehicle, was seen

lJs3fAB.jpg

"Clockverk," the being that took Jury Rigg's place, 'Clockwork', spoke in a strong German accent.

"Let's do 'zis."

After Seisa would (possibly) make her first move on the masked being, Clockwork would fire a green, time-based ray at the deconstructed technology. If the odd figure did indeed utilise the reversal of time to deconstruct the androids, aforementioned reversal would be reversed by the time rays. In other words - the deconstructed technology would begin to reconstruct.

This was all part of Ben Tennyson's plan the moment he saw the masked one use powers that appeared to be time-based - to fight fire with fire, and time with time.

And a sizeable army of Atlas androids, all wired to target and strike the masked one.

The masked one would have the choice of dealing with Seisa, counteracting Shion or trying to deconstruct the Atlas androids once more, albeit at a slower pace, not counting any other possible fourth, fifth or sixth attack that might head her way from other unmentioned parties.

t406jI6.gif

"Skree-ee-ee!"

And speak of the devil, the fourth attack, a barrage of Trump Card from Buddy was launched at the masked one.

Howlett had a double take as he had made his escape from inside the giant. Did this thin have a pilot. "There's a person inside it!" He shouted to Selene as he escaped from inside the body of the giant.

As the barrage fell down on the giant Howlett made his escape and leaped off not feeling really keen on being on the receiving end of those projectiles. As the strike ended Howlett knew what to do.

Howlett40_zpspyzi0i2z.png

"Time's up you son of a bitch!"
Making his way up the giant again and ignoring the other giants coming their way Howlett clambered up the armored giant again and made his way to the now defenseless nape. Once in position he started clawing his way through the nape until this bastard stopped moving.

DIO froze at the disrespect his son suddenly leveled towards him. For a brief second, anger swelled up in him. A younger DIO would have killed Giorno then and there. A younger DIO wouldn't tolerate someone even passively standing up to him. That DIO was no more, though. He had long since learned that strength wasn't to be squashed out. No, it was to be cultivated. Though Hol Horse had failed him, for example, he did respect the man's bravery, though it was misplaced, from when the man attempted to take DIO's life. So he didn't kill his son. On the contrary, a twisted grin spread over his face.

This would do nicely.

----

Just minutes later, DIO watched as his son went all out on the figure before them. He didn't really have any interest in helping the woman, but the figure was still in his way. What to do, what to do? Well, first, to observe his son's style closely. The punches were sloppy. Lacking in skill. What they didn't lack was speed, or power. The vampire was tempted to simply observe. Perhaps he needed to remind his son of his superiority, though. DIO couldn't let him get too confident, after all.

"Giorno, my son! Marvel at your father as I show my dominance over time itself! Witness the true power of THE WORLD!"

Beside Giorno, he attacked the figure with everything he had for the full duration of the time stop. Contrary to Giorno's attack pattern, his attacks were carried out with precision. With intent to kill. He continued after time resumed, as well, almost seemed to materialize next to Giorno during his own attack rush, his warcry joining his son's.

"MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!"

DIO intentionally ended his attack rush at about the same time Giorno did, waiting for his son to go in for another hit. He heard Giorno explain his stand, his lip curling back in a frenzied smile. The World's fist struck out in unison, an odd sense of pride swelling in his chest. Not pride in his son, though. He was proud of the fact that his blood carried such power!

"WRYYYYYYYY!"

Through all this, he found his son's style... Unimpressive. Powerful or not, he lacked finesse. DIO supposed that came with inexperience.

Whether or not the entire group's combined efforts accomplished anything at all, he took a moment to criticize Giorno, suddenly quite serious and cold. "Your attacks are sloppy, Giorno. Do not fail to impress me yet again." He turned his attention back towards their hopefully obliterated opponent.

Perhaps the swordsman's belief in fighting one's battles without making allies isn't as stable as he thought. After all, why would summon who had no interest in fighting with allies decide to rush into battle just as soon as someone else did? Giorno Giovanna wasn't one to criticize the spoken word so quickly. If there was any time to talk, Giorno wouldn't mind telling Shichika he's wrong. In a brief moment of peril, Giorno saw a glimmer in the eyes of those who rushed towards conflict by his side.

...Were they truly trying to help me? Or do they just want this man dead?

It was same kind of glimmer that Bruno had.

The eyes of a good people. He could even feel that burgeoning pride rising in his own father.

A comforting feeling...one that the cold boss of Passione hasn't felt in a very long time.

----

c2f14dc671021f38fd5b5d0c9a7806b1.png

"--Huh?!"

The boss was thrown off his rhythm when the mysterious figure had managed to block Gold Experience's attack. A ripple resonated through his mind as he felt the blows from his Stand connect with some force, and in response to this he immediately leapt back from the figure, an ethereal golden shimmer following in the bosses' wake as his Stand recoiled with him, raising it's fists in a defensive posture to protect it's user.

Tch, I made a fatal error. He can see my Gold Experience and predict it's movements. If I didn't recoil fast enough, that would've been the end...I need to find an opening!

Giorno adjusted his posture, staring down the figure during the brief moment in which there was no movement. His eyes turned towards Cinder, who-- despite Giorno's threat -- stood up and chose to keep fighting. If he wasn't focused on surviving, he would have tried to stop her. The latent thoughts in Giorno's mind fled as soon as DIO spoke, prompting the golden son to turn his head slightly and glare at his father.

He may very much be Giorno's father. After all, Giorno couldn't help but furrow his brow when his father brazenly criticized his power. Giorno never had time for those who didn't earn it. He wondered if his father was earning the time of his son, or is trying to 'take' it because he believes his blood is what determines his property. So, why did he feel so insulted when his father looked down upon him? Why did he care so much? It prompted Giorno to glance down at his coat for a moment, spotting a faint outline of an arrow resting underneath the blue leather.

Giorno shook his head, wincing slightly as the air rippled once again. He could somehow feel it whenever DIO did that...ability of his. Giorno couldn't describe it, but he could feel it buzz in his head whenever it happened. It was peculiar, and somewhat irritating.

The World...how did he obtain that kind of power?

Was it something he earned? Or was it something he took?

Turning around and walking back towards the battle, Giorno let out sigh, adjusting his coat and glaring at his father behind the figure.

"It was sloppy because I wasn't focusing on hitting every punch. I did the damage that I felt was necessary in the moment...I don't believe an enemy is worth the trouble of any more in that attack. Going overkill is...useless, useless, useless."

"But, now, we'll see if he's earned it."

"GOLD EXPERIENCE!!"

Spotting an opening as soon as a second set of orange cracks appeared on the figure's shell, Gold Experience rushed ahead of Giorno once more, doing a stylish twirl through the air as it let loose another rush of punches. These blows were more focused and accurate than the previous, now that Giorno was entirely focused on dealing damage. A wave of golden fists blew into the figure, each one cracking into form with enough force to shatter steel. Each one was a fragment of Giorno's power-- a gauge of worthiness.

Thunder would never hit the same person twice, however. At least, not in the same exact way.

It would be in the figures best interest to not block again...lest they find themselves punished by something innocent resting upon the fist of Gold Experience.

Seisa's eyes widened for a moment as the strange figure made a rush for her. Perhaps it was to be expected given the feeling she got from it, but even still she'd thought that from a distance she'd be one of the last targets. But as that wasn't the case, she'd need to adapt.

As the figure took a swipe at her, she took a step off to the opposite side and hit her arm against the figure's. Even if she might not have been as physically strong as the figure, it didn't matter when the force was approached from the side. Fortunately, she didn't have to deal with it any more than that as the Shadow Ball blasted it away from her.

With distance regained, she focused on continuing to use her Killing Art to attempt to override the figure's own powers and inhibit them. If it tried to disassemble Rigg's machines, she would rewrite space so that they would come back together. Whenever it moved to block, she'd change space around it to make it harder to move.

Since she doubted she could simply affect it directly, she'd just make it easier for everyone else to take it down.

However, that strange red haired woman from before seemed to have this handled, quickly taking them down before they arrived. While some were able to unleash some shockwaves, it seemed that the woman was able to hold out... For now.

Unfortunately, Danielle noticed that there was no immediate weapons emplacements upon the tower. In fact, it looks like the only thing that was housed up there, minus some sort of office, was a green, crystaline mechanism of some sort, perhaps some sort of communications relay?

At any rate, for the time being, it appears that Danielle's efforts had drawn the beast's attention, allowing Blake and Sonic to keep up their assault, as Ruby and Weiss was preparing some sort of dual effort of their own...

Shion found that the suit was relatively easy to operate; various buttons on its interface controlled different weapons in its arsenal, and it had a set of levers and pedals, which were meant to operate its limbs. All it took was a brief flick of a switch before the suit itself powered up, ready for action.

Blared a voice from inside. Looks like Rigg had done an good job at putting this thing back together.

From missiles, to cannons... It looked like this suit could pack quite the punch, something that would normally have paled in comparison to the figure's powers... But considering the odds, the figure was finding it harder and harder to dodge the ordinance coming its way.

Nonetheless, it was still maintaining its efforts to undermine Rigg's efforts by deconstructing the machines he had reassembled over and over... But each time, this seemed to be happening slower, as it was quickly finding it more and more difficult to fight against Cinder, as well as dodging countless projectiles coming its way.

It seemed that Seisa's ability was slowly but surely disrupting its own abilities, causing the device that it had holstered in its belt to begin flickering a little in the process.

Alas, when Giorno joined the fray once more with his stand, he and Cinder together, were collectively able to break through the figure's attempts to block these attacks, and gradually more and more hits were beginning to land on it.

Eventually, the orange shimmer around its body appeared to fade, allowing it to feel the full brunt force of the attacks launched in its way... Shattering its mask, and cracking numerous parts of the armored outfit it once bore.

At last, it fell to the ground, looking to be quite the mess... Though, upon its defeat, one might notice that through a large crack in its mask, where a good fragment had come straught off, there was a feminine face underneath, not unlike Cinder. Except, patches of skin were covered with darkness, not unlike the screecher titans.

While the battle seemed to be over, for now... It looks like whoever this person was, they were still alive, and Cinder was unlikely to be the only one looking for answers. So perhaps one could question it? Either that or they could go check out the mysterious device it had holstered on its belt.

Of course, the option was there to remove its mask, and see who was lying underneath, but... Perhaps that was something better left alone.

"Adaptive to what we try, huh? Just like those piece of shit machines..."

A2 didn't sound pleased with how her attempts were being halted by whatever crystalline defenses the female titan was able to use. Surely this android hasn't encountered anything like this before, but it would not be long until she figured out a source of weakness. It was like those words she would tell herself after her defection from the YoRHa infantry.

Everything is designed to end.

There had to be a way to weaken the female titan before it would get too close to the others. Just like her inner frustrations were being heard, an ammo cartridge was tossed her direction. Catching it, she glanced over at the soldier who paid the mind to give her this.

tumblr_opaj9gLemW1v3qowuo2_100.png

"..."

While she had the thought of thanking the soldier for the assist, there wasn't much time to do that yet. They still had a problem on their hands. Quickly loading in the cartridge into her firearm, A2 continued to weave in and out, circling the female titan. She knew it was impossible to keep this up forever, especially when her systems would fail due to the lack of rest time. Taking aim, the android fired shots into the back of the female titan's knees. If the ankles weren't working as expected, then damage to the leg joints would be the next possible option.

"Phew...what an underwhelming battle."

Giorno stood proud over the defeated enemy, gazing up at the sky and gathering his thoughts for a moment now that the battle appeared to be over. Glancing over at certain individuals like Shichika and Seisa, Giorno flashed a brief smile. There was no doubt in his mind that he wouldn't have been able to finish off the enemy this quickly if it wasn't for their support.

Giorno's gaze also fell upon DIO. It wasn't a smile, but a blank look. One that DIO would recognize as a look of proving. Like he had just elevated himself to a level above the worthless Stand users that DIO is used to pawning around.

Of course, that wasn't Giorno's plan at all. He simply felt like looking at his father.

Turning over to the fallen figure, Giorno didn't call back his Stand at all. Rather, the golden-haired mobster treaded over. His smile from before had faded into a stony-eyed glare, and his eyes burned. They burned with resolve, but they also burned with a merciless fire. Before the figure could even speak, Giorno crossed his hands-- and Gold Experience would press it's foot down on the woman's chest, slowly pushing her into the Earth...like he was returning a piece of dirt to it's rightful place.

It did so with such force that if it pushed down just a tad bit harder, her ribcage would shatter in a second.

Hm...a piece of dirt. That's what this woman was to Giorno in this moment.

Talk about excessive. From what she'd heard in their group, this boy was the son of that blonde man who'd tailed along. The man who reminded her so much of-

Let's not say it.

Whatever. Still holding the mask, Noembelu raised a hand at Giorno to halt him-but not for the woman's sake. "Careful of that thing on her belt. Could be important." Its owner? Not so much.

A2 might notice that the soldier happened to have antlers coming out of his head... Actually, a good number of the soldiers holding the front lines appeared to have various animal parts, and were dressed a little differently than the traditional soldiers. A strange sight, but perhaps not an unwelcome one; they'd need all the help they could get in a fight like this.

Interestingly enough though, it seemed that the backs of its knees were left unprotected, and the icy projectiles that were fired from her rifle thanks to that new cartridge she had been thrown... It would appear that it was beginning to freeze up the titan's joints. Though it was likely that one would need a little more than that to bring it down.

Perhaps some heavier artillery? Which it seemed that some of the soldiers up at the front lines were bolstering. Well, actually, it looks like the soldier from earlier seemed to have the same idea, and was quickly getting the attention of the more heavily armed soldiers out there... Looks like all that remained, was to keep the titan immobilized long enough for heavier ordinance to do its work.

Though, once its nape was vulnerable to an attack, it was likely that A2, or someone else would have to finish the job...

Speaking of which, one of the soldiers took notice of Sidon cheering A2 on, seeming to mistake him for a slacking soldier.

"Hey! You! Sharkman! What are you doing?! Put on a uniform and help us!"
She shouted.

Like the soldier who had helped A2, she too, seemed to have some sort of animal part on her... And by the looks of it, it was a leopard's tail, not just that but it looks like she was one of the leading figures here.

And underneath that mask waaaas... Fortunately not another mask. Instead though, what was revealed was a face that eerily resembled Cinder's, with a matching head of long, flowing, black hair.

Only, there were dark patches of this black ooze, that one might even mistake for burns if they didn't look closely... And she had this cold, dead, look in her eyes.

Didn't look like she was saying anything just yet though. Perhaps catching her breath? Or just stalling for time, maybe.

However, Giorno's inquire brought a leering smile to her face, one that even seemed to unnerve Cinder a little, finally deciding to speak, remaining oddly calm about this, perhaps even pleased.

"All hail the great Emnity! For his time will soon be upon us..." She said, letting out a gleefull laugh.

Cinder appeared to speak up just then, clearly tired of this nonsense, producing a rather hot flame in one of her hands, aiming it towards this mysterious woman... Who almost seemed like her counterpart, in a way.

"Who, are you?" She asked narrowing her eyes.

The prospect of death didn't seem to phase her at all; in fact, she almost seemed to welcome it...

"I am one of many... Who serve in our lord's grace... And in time, you too, shall kneel before his presense!" She proclaimed, momentarily seeming to shake off her battered state, raising her hands to the air.

This didn't last long though, as her body was racked with a violent coughing, spattering the ground with a mixture of blood and some sort of black ooze, like the stuff that seemed to have formed patches around her skin.

Looks like she wasn't going to spill the beans, at least not enough to gain too much knowledge from this.

As their attacks failed due to the being's bizarre powers, DIO backed off to reassess their situation. This was the second time The World had its powers negated entirely by some bizarre force. It was becoming increasingly frustrating. Baring his fangs, he charged in after Giorno's initial attack, speaking all the while. "If you were more powerful, you wouldn't need such an imprecise method of attack to succeed! Prove yourself worthy to me, Giorno! Show me your true strength! Show me the power my blood flowing through you gives you! There's no such thing as overkill! There's no such thing as overcommitting! There is only Stand Power, and those with the will to use it to its fullest extent! Annihilate everyone who opposes you entirely, and you will never be opposed again in the pursuit of your dream!"

images.jpeg

DIO charged forward, screaming at their opponent as he struck out with The World.

"Your life, your efforts, your everything; you're USELESS!"

He launched one massive punch at their opponent, though he struck to cripple rather than kill. He agreed that information could be gathered from them that could prove useful.

Of course their opponent fell. There was no other way it could go. Giorno had pulled his act together, but DIO believed it was only because of his prodding. He returned the blank look with a sinister smile. "Aside from your initial, utter failure at the beginning of the fight, you did well, son. I knew you had it in you. You still have a long way to go, however, until you achieve true Stand Power!" He turned his attention to their now-downed opponent. She was committed, but she was committed to the wrong cause. He'd have to show her the greatness that was DIO. Maybe then, she'd listen. The vampire stepped forward, his walk turning into a saunter, an extremely powerful hypnotic effect surrounding him. Tentacles began to spread out from his form, sharp, bulbous ends moving towards the woman. "Come now," The vampire cooed, his voice suddenly soothing and full of a honeyed draw, where moments ago it had been cutting and manic. "You are beaten, but you are not without hope. Help me, so that I, DIO, may bless you with my strength. After all, you were misguided. Lied to. All can still be forgiven. All that I ask is that you do what I ask. You want to do that, don't you?"

If nothing got in the way, and she fell subject to the hypnotic effects of his voice, long enough to be unable to resist, he'd rather swiftly plant the flesh bud in her brain, which would simply make her his. If it worked, anyways.

Well.

All that happened.

Not really taking much note that the woman's face resembled the one whom the group was following all this time, as Shichika admittedly never did get over his condition of failing to tell some people apart in the first place, let alone remember their name, he could only listen silently as the woman seemed to finally utter words that would hopefully clue them all in a to what exactly the situation of this bizarre place was, but to little avail, as all that happened was she began raving like a lunatic.

The swordsman had little use for gods. Where he had come from, the only god around was time. Time was the one thing that crumpled mountains and structures, turned man and beast into dust, and built as much as it destroyed. It was the only absolute, and the thing that Shichika himself tried his best to keep up with. Sometimes, he even felt like a messenger of time, mapping the nation, living for a purpose of his own rather than one pre-determined for him.

The man could only sigh, rubbing his head briefly as it seemed that there was little chance of learning anything, let alone getting out of this place, from the woman. He raised an eyebrow at DIO's later attempt to persuade the woman, the vampire's hypnotic aura seeming to somehow go over Shichika's head like a balloon, as though the swordsman were immune to such a menacing aura, even if only secondhand at the moment. All he did was awkwardly lean over to Seisa, all the while still looking at DIO and Giorno from the sidelines.

"... These guys are weird. What do you think, Yayoi-kun?"

He still couldn't get the names or faces right, evidently, as he attempted to talk to Seisa.

What a mess.

A stench lingered in the air, one that resembled old flesh and charred bones. It was almost sad that Dorian could identify such a scent. Oh, such was the life a hapless and talented mage lived! Dorian may have enjoyed combat for the technical prowess one could convey, but this was on a whole other level. It was nothing short of what Dorian imagined being in the thick of a Blight to be. Just... with fewer dragons.

He had descended the ramparts in the chaos, becoming a bit lost as a result. He had left magical mines of both fire and ice in the giant's path, but Howlett's handiwork had made the effort completely unnecessary. The man was now knee deep in the giant's corpse, looking down at a sight Dorian couldn't see.

Cupping a hand beside his mouth, Dorian called out to the others, "I didn't go splat! You're stuck with me for just a little longer! Delightful, isn't it?"

vMdSxUY.png

He jogged over toward Howlett and made a disgusted noise once he saw the unconscious boy. "So, they have bad digestion. Good to know."

Giorno squinted at the woman, who showed no fear or distress in the face of his threat. It was something Giorno was used to and quite tired of in his experience of Passione. There were simply those who exist to be pawns in the greater scheme of things. Souls who have bound their fates to someone, and are willing to die in their name.

"I see. Well, you're useless to me, then."

"I'm not one to deny someone their dreams. But...I once learned a lesson that 'murder is permitted when one is insulted'. I thought it was grossly immoral when I first heard it...but, it's a very important distinction."

"Because you insulted these innocent people's lives."

"Enjoy the embrace of whoever you serve."

Without even breaking for anyone else to ask questions, Giorno slowly turned and allowed his Stand to finish the job. Gold Experience gripped the woman by the throat, lifting her into the air, rearing back it's fist.

But, it stopped for a moment.

View attachment 135449

View attachment 135451

If nothing got in the way, and she fell subject to the hypnotic effects of his voice, long enough to be unable to resist, he'd rather swiftly plant the flesh bud in her brain, which would simply make her his. If it worked, anyways.

Giorno stood there, staring down at this woman. This crippled, horrible bruised and beaten woman. Her face spelled out a cruel fate she has fallen upon. Her experiences all led up to this moment of her demise, fighting one last battle in the name of whoever she believed in. She was a puppet, a pawn, and a piece of dirt...but, something about what DIO said caused Giorno's face to harden into one of pure...anger. Giorno has never been this angry-- a burning, scorching heat consumed his heart with every alluring whisper that his father passed into this woman's ear.

"I..."

Why was he so angry? Why did his father cause him to feel this way?

It was because he wasn't a giver. He wasn't giving this woman the fate she resolved for. He was taking away the last few moments of her life for his gain. To take something from someone so...broken. Giorno Giovanna carries a conflicting curse in his blood. Something in his blood boiled and popped in response to DIO, causing the golden son to suddenly lash out.

"MUDA!"

The tentacle would fly out of the control as Gold Experienced deflected it, overloading it with the energy of life, causing it to wither away. It was like a reflex...Giorno didn't even think! His body simply moved on its own, following by him proceeding with his plan. His plan to give this woman the fate she resolved for. The path that she believed to be the right path, the golden path.

And then the pummeling begin.

JD was making some decent progress doing this, the only (occasional) problem being a screecher or two coming his way...

VUlEFqB.png

"Atlas Systems... Online."

Howlett's claws carved their way around its nape, slicing it clean out... And sure enough, the creature fell to the ground with a distinct crunch, as its armored body met with the floor. Looks like this beast had been defeated, but in the process, thanks to Howlett's handiwork, the outline of a person could be seen underneath, where its nape had once been.

Though, they didn't appear to be moving... Looks like he hadn't just been seeing things after all...

Well, that was finally over with. Noembelu walked to the fallen figure, deciding to remove the mask. After all, those who were defeated in battle didn't deserve the option of anonomity.

It did so with such force that if it pushed down just a tad bit harder, her ribcage would shatter in a second.

Hm...a piece of dirt. That's what this woman was to Giorno in this moment.

Uh oh.

In a flash of green light, Clockwork was Ben Tennyson once again.

qVSiSmx.jpg

"Well, there's that. Hey Buddy, you did great out there."

The young Eevee crawls up to Ben's shoulder.

Next they looked at the masked - now unmasked one. Her answers were most vague.

"You know what," Ben says to Giorno and Dio, "you two do what you do best, I've got other plans."

Soon, transformation would commence as Ben turned smaller, his ribcage contracting...

wIsMn9L.jpg

"Pesky Dust! Prrrrr!" Ben's next form, 'Pesky Dust' appears, leaving trails of shiny dust as he flew about for a bit...

... just in time to see Giorno brutally murder the unmasked one in the classic franchise's fashion. Pesky Dust winced at the powerful slams and jams of his Stand pummeling the unmasked one.

"Hey! Why'd you do that for?!" Pesky Dust retorted in a voice that was extremely difficult to take seriously. "I don't know how things work in your world or this world, but that does not look like a coma. Well, some things are worth a shot..."

If the unmasked one was somehow alive after all this, which Pesky Dust heavily doubted, Pesky Dust would release some of his dust into her nostrils, so that he can access, percieve and interact with the unmasked one's dreams. Pesky Dust was well aware that what would behold him could possibly be grotesque fiends and things beyond - cults, elder gods, magic elder gods, the usual.

Pesky Dust would expect to know more about this 'Emnity' she spoke of when he did so.

Maybe he could even see the thoughts flashing through her head at her last moments.
