Finally, Joker would start up his motorcycle again, and the gang followed. They dodged around cars, and tormented more people, even throwing a homemade grenade into the engine of one which had stopped, making the driver flee. They would pass several buildings where cops had set up, and pass crowds of rioters. Finally, the Capsules would come into view.

"READY, EVERYONE!" Joker would shout as he raised his baseball bat.

"...Tetsuo?" Karin didn't want to leave the rest, but she felt Tetsuo going alone was dangerous. She'd give him a piece of her mind when she caught up, though. Revving up her bike, she sped past the Clowns as well to head into the Old Ruins.
Just before Miles can hit Kaneda, he turns into a narrow alley.

One of the Capsules speeds up behind Miles. He holds a metal pipe, and is about to hit him.

You enter an old abandoned part of town. there are several people behind you. Tetsuo drives further into town startling several people. He eventually enters a tunnel.

Turn back? or Keep going?
"TETSUO!" Karin shouted after him, following him into the tunnel. She was going to catch up to him, no matter what.

Several Clowns are chasing Tetsuo as well. Tetsuo looks back at them and Karin. "I betcha can't catch me!" He shouts. He's practically taunting them.

"Couldn't be better! Actually it could be...but that's true about a lot of things." Joan replied to Toshiro a bit surprised that a big shot like him knew who she was. Though slow office days hits anyone, right? "Nice little party you have here, the shrimp was good and is gone now cause I ate all of it, or at least all on the plate but don't tell anybody cause I imagine some shrimp lovers would be mad...I guess the saying is true though...

...Shrimping ain't easy."

@Atomyk
Toshiro just smiles at the comment. "As I was telling Makiko, I actually was just here for a business meeting. And I don't sponsor her, anyway. That's Kim of Omnidyne-Cross. You know? the terrifying Korean woman who controls medicine and weapons, and owns the largest Corporation?" He put his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Anyway, yeah. So, why are you here? Just here for a night on the town?"

@Atomyk

Kana always wondered what drove people to commit crimes. She had always wondered, ever since her childhood, what made people tick. What made good people do bad things. What made them do the things they did. That was why she took up Psychology in the first place to major in. Yet, even despite all the studying, she didn't have the answer she was looking for. Well, actually, that was a little inaccurate. She had all the answers now. Internal circumstances like brain imbalances, mental disorders, the like, could cause someone to break, though it's more often external causes. Abuse, social neglect... Just anything will do.

And yet, even so, Kana hated that. She hated that everything was so... by the books. The facts were there, and sometimes, she found herself wishing they were more abstract for some reason, though she could never figure out why. Perhaps it was the... coldness of it all. People were more than just a bundle of statistics, facts, and data. They were... well, people. Individuals. And individuals were perhaps the most complex thing ever to exist. Forget quantum physics, rocket science, the like.

But if this went on for any longer, she'd lose herself in her own thoughts again, not that she was really much of what some people might call a scatterbrain, of course.

After all, now was hardly the time to quote and question the brilliance and arrogance of Freud. She would have plenty of time to have a heart to heart conversation with the perp once he was behind bars.

When Abra gave his orders, Kana tightened her grip on her weapon. Though she personally hoped that they'd be able to resolve this without a fight, she knew that that was only wishful thinking.

As the soldiers set explosives around the door, she checked her weapon to make sure it was loaded and secured. A revolver was such a... distasteful, yet comfortable weapon for Kana, as though she had had some affinity for it for quite some time, even though she disliked how lethal it could easily be. But hey, just aim for the limbs and everything would be fine. She didn't train her mind and body for years on end to make a mistake and make a novice mistake like making a fatal shot, after all.

This was just routine in the life of a Public Security officer, after all.

"Section 2, ready and waiting," she said, deciding to speak for the squad with her, "I don't suppose any of you would be willing to make the breach first?"

@The Silver Paladin @TheSpringwoodSlasher @DapperDogman
"Tony! Move in!" The man in the SWAT Van would say into Tony's earpiece.

A Section 2 member placed some explosives on the door, and blew it up.

Sections 2 and 3 would Breach into the room at separate sides. Several cops dressed in Riot armor would take positions in the room. The man and hostage looked startled, but Motoko looked the most confused. She wasn't told several other Sectors would be there.

She held the pistol out. "No one told me there would be others." She thought.

Togusa, who was a few miles away responded. "Our Intel must have been off. Work with them for now. We can get him."

Akio continued to chase after Tetsuo yelling "Come on! You're not scared of a Clown are ya?".

Ken would see Karin, and several Clowns chasing Tetsuo.

The Clown flew off of the bike, and slammed into a nearby wall. The other clown then jumped at Karin, trying to grab her, and pull her off of the bike.

Tetsuo chuckled and gritted his teeth at Akio's comment. "Catch me if you can, Clowny!"

Tetsuo zips into a narrow alley. You see him at the end so you can see he made it through, but do you risk it?

"...Course I do. The weapons developer. And some of the board probably does have their own security buuuut well...having you certainly doesn't hurt. Hayden Cooper. You think it'll really come to that?"

"These rioters have done worse, Hayden." The man stepped across the room. "Alright, I am Kellyn Ekaterina. Head of the Megacorporation Ekaterina. If any of you have security in the building, I demand you call them. If you don't, these rioters will kill everyone in here. If by some miracle we survive, your head over here." He pointed to Hayden. "And I will ruin your lives. I have the power to. I own about half of the Internet. So call the Security teams, and let's ride out this storm."

Several members mumbled. One woman grabbed her cellphone and dialed a number. Several others followed suit.

Kellyn looked at Hayden. "Anyway, I wish we could have met on more... Pleasant terms."

He sighed deeply. Good Lord, he hated this town. "It was, wasn't it? " Daniel paused and pondered their job before continuing. "Yeah, I am. Let's get outta here. Might as well rest."

@The Silver Paladin

"Yeah. We gotta be all rested for that inspection tomorrow." The doctor said. He picked up a case with various supplies and such in it. "Damn government. We claimed we started a Street Clinic to help the poor, and now they want to see if we're actually doing what we tell them we're doing. Bureaucratic bullshit, I'd say."

"Hmmph." Annaliesia said. "Alright then." She seemed ticked. She shook her head, and looked at Hanako. "I will see you at that dinner."
_______

"I suppose I'm not invited," Katsuko smirked at Annaliesia as she took her compact mirror and lipstick out of her purse, applying it to her lips. Pressing her lips together in order to give it a full color, she would softly wink at Hanako. "Unless you would like an escort?" Katsuko was actually glad that with her comment made him gain a little bit of confidence. His father's company was the reason why she became so successful in her life, and she wanted it to continue being there for her. The idea of the company being part of something bigger slightly scared her as she could easily be removed from her career as a model. As long as she had a job and was gaining money to buy herself whatever she wanted, Katsuko was comfortable with working. In the end, her appearance was all that mattered to society.

Hanako Musoka
@CCC Kouhai @The Silver Paladin
Hanako nodded slowly towards Annaliesia, sighing a little as he turned towards Katsuko, at least she seemed happy... Though, hearing her request, he nodded after only a moments consideration, smiling a little "I don't mind one." he said, rubbing his chin a little as he wondered about the whole dinner thing, he had a feeling "Anna" as he called their "comrade" still trying to acquire his father's company often by now... Would probably try and talk him, or his father into selling the company somehow... Again, what would it be this time? More money? Something else along with it? He sighed a little, looking up at Katsuko "How much do you bet she'll badger us more at dinner?" he asked, lowering his voice a little as he spoke in a hushed tone; he most definitely didn't want people to overhear this conversation.

"I am so ready!" Makiko declared with a flourish of her hand. She reached up into the air as if she was trying to capture the light between her fingers. "Sounds like this meeting was really important," she then said, lowering her arm. She smiled at Mr. Shiawase innocently. "You could call it providence. It put you at just the right place and time to hear me sing. I'm so glad to have another fan who can experience me live-- They say my personality comes off best in person." She knew was playing it up a but too much, but Makiko didn't really care. No matter how authentic any singer was, they always would have a a public image separate from their real life self. Write your own songs and show up to as many events as you wanted, it didn't stop the inevitable narratives that the media would wrap around you. Once she started getting sponsored, Makiko had decided to have a little fun with the bubbly, almost naive image she'd been given.

A belch from behind her caught the girl off guard, displeasure apparent on her face for just a moment. She managed to maintain her composure nonetheless and flash a smile Toshiro's way. She did her best to ignore whoever was being so uncouth behind her and pointed toward her private seating next to the stage. "I don't mean to presume, but it sounds to me you might not have had the opportunity to arrange for some proper seating. I could offer you my..."

Makiko slowly trailed off as the woman she'd excused moments before jumped back into the conversation. The pop idol turned to the woman, ready to tell her that their conversation was not finished, when she was given a most random question. "Ah, um." Makiko offered the woman a tight smile, trying her best not to look unguarded. As far as she was aware, there was no story about her and a cantaloupe circulating the tabloids, nor could she scarcely imagine a situation where that could even happen. "I'm afraid I've never heard of you before, Joan," Makiko said a bit dryly. "What do you review, exactly?"

"No no... erm, I haven't gotten to hear your name... in full..." Bailey didn't know why, but she felt like she should introduce herself before this guy decides to bail out of nervousness.

"Maybe I'll start... first... um... my name is... B-Bailey..."

@Cromartie Sarkissian
"Bailey... That's ..erm... A really pretty name...my Grandam had a cat named Bailey..." Now he was really stressing. "My name...its... It is....Jur-rurikono" Man, that's a long name... Better find a way to shorten it "If I had any friends, I'd get them to shorten it it Jurik or something, but I don't so yeah..." He was really digging himself into a deep hole here....

"Hey I don't blame you, classy broad like you when would you have the time." Though evidently a CEO of a major company did have the time...go figure.

"What do I review? Shitty videogames mostly with a slight dash of shitty movies on the side. In fact my last review was of Fast and Furious 10: More Furious. Man...you know they're running out of ideas when they reanimate the corpse of Paul Walker to star, write AND direct! "Yes, indeed. So cynical, aren't they?" The comment was more wry than serious. It wasn't like they had a stream of anyone leaving the clinic to tell others of their good deeds, so Daniel wasn't really too surprised at the inspection. He was very much annoyed with it, though. As they both left, he locked the door behind them. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"...Yeah, I can say the same. And I'm not quite sure how I feel about the guy in charge of making weapons owning about half of the entire Internet. No offense." Hayden replied unapologetically, not really fond of companies that kill people in the first place. Peace and diplomacy were more beneficial but if the chips were down, like in this situation...she sighed. "This bites."

You knock a Clown off of his motorcycle, but Joker dodges, and flies into the alley after Kaneda.

If you look to your left, you see Kai just knocked a Clown through a window, landing onto a table inside of a restaurant. He stops for a second to admire it, and then continues.
