  • - BACKGROUND -

    [spacer]In a planetary system far way is the collection of 6 planets orbiting their star Balthazar. In the order of Kelmia, Anmos, Morvona, Breque, Tasrano, and far off Ghasam these planets are governed by their gods and goddess. Through their mortal deities, each immortal being rules the planet they themselves created, in an origin tale dating back to the beginning of time. While each planet has had its share in war and peace. However, for the past three centuries, an era of peace has been enjoyed, until now. Through political standoffs and in overcast of animosity and evil, the 6 planets went from peace to warfare. Kelmia and Tasrano are the main combatants in the war. The last planet to stay neutral in the war is Morvona, a lust and rich planet right in the middle of the war-zone. Through the divine power of their goddess, the planet Morvona has become to last safe haven for anyone who does not want to be put on the front lines. The war has been going on for 20 years, resulting in Anmos total destruction of its atmosphere, rendering in uninhabitable. No one has made contact with Ghasam, who's planetary orbit is so far and slow that no one has bothered with the small insignificant planet at the edge of their solar system. Who is really to blame for all these destructions?[spacer]

    - SETTING -

    [spacer]We start off on Morvona, the last known safe place in the Balthazar star system. In a town called Enila on the continent Selmore. This modest town is about to celebrate its Honeybee Festival, where every shop, vendor, and inns feature items that have to do with honey, bees, or flowers. There is a lot of talk and tense in Morvona about the war. Information from Eulace, the capital of Selmore, travels through Enila about talks of drafts for pending war. What scares the people more is that nothing has been heard from Nahara, the planet's goddess. Even in these turbulent times the honeybee festival still goes on, being the only source of glee in Enila. It is the first night of the three-day festival, where everyone, native and foreign comes together in the town square for the starting ceremony. On Morvana the fashion reflects a very elven Renaissance like feel. [spacer]

    - PLOT -

    [spacer]You adventurers will in some way shape or form are going to experience the war. Guided by me, the GM, in a loosely formed plot. 80% of the plot will be player driven. The other 20% is the bones of the RP. The character interactions and choices will affect the outcome and experiences in the RP. So far the characters have some way shape or form has made their way or found themselves in Enila on the planet Morvona for the Honeybee festival. Each character does not have to be from Morvona. They can freely be from whatever planet except for Ghasam. If you are interested in originating from Ghasam please Pm me, since the point of no contact with them for the last 20 or so years is in effect. Your character can have equipped mana crystals, though because destructive magic crystals are very expensive and very rare find in the common market these days take that into account. Healing Crystals are now very valuable, but in Morvona where the crystals are abundant, the price is reasonable since they are neutral.

  • Kelmia

    Kelmia is a smaller-sized planet with mountains and canyons spanning all over the planet. Most of the water available on the planet is below ground. There are caves that lead to underground tunneling systems used by beasts. The three well-known caves are called Clus, Zynn, and Nyish and are known to have precious gems and metals in them. There are only two Major cities, each from opposing sides of the civil war. The rebellion, at the city of Etowah, is largely located underground to the north of the planet. The few loyal subjects of Qamar's deity live in Ashkum which is stationed at the foot of the largest mountain in the south on Kelmia, Ajor peaks, where the temple of Qamar is. This mountain is southeast of the planet. Kelmia's main trade is that of weapons and various gems. It is a military first society, where the now ruling family in Etowah has total control over resources.

    *Qamra*

    The goddess of Kelmia, and the patron of strength and power. She was the first to be brought into existence by Balthazar. Qamra was very close to her creator, being the only child for eons. Qamra learned from Balthazar how to create planets and moons. She made one of her own, shaping it with mountains and giving it its own moon. Qamra only gave Edarae a moon, due to their bond. However, Hesyn destroyed it out of jealousy, and the ring around Tasrano was made. Qamra is selfish, only wanting Balthazar to pay attention to her. For this reason, Qamra hates Nomio, who was the first to steal her creator's attention. Qamra may be power and mighty, but she is not rational like Nomio. This is reflected in Breque's lack of land mass. Nahara, taking sides with Nomio, resulting in Morvona having no mountains at all. Nahara loved Qamra though, and through the pleas from Edarae, Qamra lends her strength to create humans that were amazingly adaptable. Qamra's people are very resourceful and durable. The royal family is small, but tight net and united. That is until one of the Sons of the last deity divided the people can caused a civil war over the right to rule their own kingdom. Qamra was abandoned by her worshipers, and then the rebellious son declared war against the rest of the planets.
    Qamra's is shown to be a bronzed skinned woman with long wavy silver hair. Her eyes are icy purple and she has pink holo crystal scales on framing her face. current deity is a teenage boy, son of the previous deity. He is a weak boy in heart, refusing to fight for the unity of his planet. No one on Kelmia has seen him. Only the other deities know of him. It is unclear if he is trained in combat. Usually, Qamra's deities can control earth, create golems freely, and have super strength.


    Anmos

    *Systarr*
    Goddess of Anmos, and patron of passion and fury. Systarr was the third being created by Balthazar. From the beginning, Systarr was hot-tempered, chaotic, and unruly. she is a risk taker, disregarding anyone's warning but Balthazar. Systarr, with the guidance of Balthazar, channeled his energy into creating stars and later volcanoes. With Systarr's creation, light was introduced into the universe. Systarr does not like Qamra, for refusing to give her her own planet. In revenge she created a star close to Kelmia, making the planet very hot, dry, and undesirable.
    Balthazar corrected Systarr and taught each god how to create a barrier for their planet, allowing even Kelmia to be habitable for humans in the long run. Systarr did not hesitate to give human passion and conventions. Systarr's own planet reflects her chaotic nature, being riddled with volcanoes and covered in sand. Systarr is depicted as a fair-skinned young woman with flowing red hair and is engulfed in flames. From her hands, there is the fire essence that is Systarr. Her deity is a young woman with blonde hair and a soft face. Systarr's deity was only 7 training in the ways of a rogue when Anmos was destroyed. She is being held captive on Tasrano for the last 10 years. Her status is unknown at this point. She Is unable to tap into her goddess-given power since Anmos's destruction. No one knows why. From records, Systarr's deities are able to control fire and lava, turn into a Fire Cherufe, and cannot be physically burned. All known bloodline of Systarr's deity has been killed.



    Morvona

    Morvona is a lush green planet filled tall and mature forests. There are 2 huge land masses that makes up the continents called Selmore and Avis. Selmore is in the northwest region of Morvona with 5 settlements. Beaches, bays, and gulfs are common. Three huge and dense forests cover the land, giving homes to unique and fantastical beasts. Mines for gems are in every city and town, but the main item of trade is food. Morvona has the highest variety of fruits and veggies of all the planets, each region having unique crops they harvest. Their trade goods are food, various gems, and healing potions. The largest ocean, Brixe, hosts the deity temple that floats high in the sky. The only way to get there is my means of teleportation or sky ship. The temple is on floating land mass with rocky cliffs and separated softly rotating boulders that suggest a mysterious force is keeping the temple in midair. The southern continent Avis is a large mushroom forests with two large cities and very scattered farms. On Morvana there is a sense of peace and happiness in the air since the planet has been protected from the war by their Goddess, Nahara.

    *Nahara*
    The Goddess of Morvona, and the patron of nature and beauty. In her origin story, Nahara was the second to last to be born out of the universe. Created with a warm radiant energy, she was given a planet to call her own by Balthazar and filled it and the other planets with life. She was the creator of Flora and Fauna that are not human. Her love for living creatures convinced the other Gods to come together and create humans, featuring her life giving energy. Nahara is often depicted as a woman with long hair adorned with flowers, in a meadow with light beaming from her with her dragon companion. Heavy chested with life, sometimes even pregnant, with hardly any clothing on and barefooted to reflect a sense of innocence. The Royal blood line of Nahara is a large family, with many lords and dukes. They make up a congress in Morvona's capital city Eulace.
    Her deity is current an eccentric tanned woman who with long brown curly hair, gray eyes, and is a ranger with a cat familiar. Like all deities, the goddess is linked to her, and can even take over their body to communicate at will. All deities of Nahara has an infinity for animals, healing, and can make plants grow at will. They radiant a live giving energy that encourages life to grow just from being in their presences. Temple of Nahara is also the head of the planetary systems orphanages, where devoted Worshippers of Nahara take care of them until they are 16 years old.
    Breque

    A planet mostly dominated by water, Breque is home to the temple of Nomio. The temple is to the right of the vast ocean simply called The ocean of Breque. While the ocean has no unique name, the two island continents are called Azelaglow and Hythos. Hythos, in the south, is a smaller island, with 1 large city called Aphine that gathers the planets timber and the cave of whispers that lead to a vast system of underground cave systems. These cave systems house many of the dangerous animals and beasts on Breque, and even connect to the cave of Moss and Crinn, on Azelaglow. Azelaglow has two mining cities and rocky hills that cover the northern shore completely. Azelaglow and Hythos may be the only land mass on Breque, but the majority of the populous are on the numerous floating cities that deal in trading between the islands, fighting the many sea beasts that plague the ocean, and fish for the majority of the seafood on the market on Breque. Due to the nature of the floating cities, the inhabitants are very advance in water and steam powered technology and metal work in general. Their skills surpass that of Tasrano, who are known for their strong and elaborate lava and steam-powered metal-based technology. Their main trade is for water gems and power crystals, seafood, and machinery.

    *Nomio*
    Nomio is the God of Breque and the patron of water. While Nahara could create life, her creations could not live without Nomio's substance of water. Since the birth of his origin story, Nomio has been calm and rational in his dealings with his siblings and mankind. Being the Secondborn out of the universe, His power controlled the flow of energy and matter. Fitting of him, Breque's ocean is always in movement, without a calm shore in sight. Nomio is depicted as a blue water dragon, sometimes with Nahara as well. Nahara was known to create beasts befitting Nomio's chaotic nature, especially for breque.

    Nomio's deity is currently long dark hair male with a monk upbringing. His is tall, toned, and a man of few words. His weapon of choice is a katana. His granted powers included complete control over water, shape shifting into a sea serpent, and underwater breathing. Breque's royal family is nothing short of a disaster. Not has chaotic has Kelmia's, but very concerning. Nomio's deity has no heir, by choice. His 4 siblings are at odds with who's should be trained in the ways of deity-hood. Nomio accepts none but the best, but no heir has been chosen from the 5 current pool of potential heirs. What is worse, Nomio gave his deity a prophetic dream. The heir has already been chosen.
    Tasrano

    Tasrano is a cold and icy tundra, with mountain covering the northernmost part of the only continent, Veltin. There are two islands on opposite sides of Veltin, the left being the Hollowing island and the right being the island of Despair. The local lore suggests that each island is home to terrifying snow monsters that prey on human flesh. The Capital of Tasrano is Veocaster and is located in the southeast, with the Vlo River passing through it. Veocaster is where most of the royal family lives. The planets prison, located at Drolphia, houses some of the most harden criminals in the planetary system. In the northern part of Veltin is the temple of Edarae. The only way to the temple is through Edarae's pass, a torturous passage that few trek or even survive. The mountains of Veltin are most of the coldest temperatures in the system, second only to Ghasam. Even in that mountain lives dangerous beasts and small settlements alike. Every city is partially underground, aside from Veocaster, where it is just warm enough to not freeze over completely during the long winter. Tasrano is home to some of most extricate metal work. The residence of Tasrano relies heavily on the magma chambers underground for heat, energy, forgery work. Most of the technology on Tasrano is lava and steam crystal powered. Their trade is mainly Various Gems, lava and steam power crystals, technology, and weapons.


    *Edarae*
    The Goddess of Tasrano, and patron of justice and order. Edarae was the fourth birthed into the universe. She was what Qamra and Systarr needed, order. With the help of Nomio and Balthazar, Edarae honed her powers of ice and snow. Her powers of cooling temperatures spread throughout the universe, resulting space to be cold and isolating. Her powers of order keep the planets in orbit and place. Edarae gave her sense of justice to humans.
    On her planet Tasrano the land is cold and flat, with a large expand of mountains Qamra gifted to her, along with what was her moon. Edarae's planetary ring is made up on ice and rock.Edarae is shown to wear flowing clothes adorned with gold, flowing in the air surrounded by icy winds. her eyes glow white with justice, and like her deity has white hair. Her hand protrudes her power over ice and snow. Her deity line is a good sized family, who rule over Tasrano with an iron fist. Edarae's chosen deities are from birth, marked with white hair. The current deity is a young woman with bright blue eyes. She wears her hair down and is very trendy. Her powers include control over ice, transform into a giant snow wolf, and can detect lies. She is not a very good leader, refusing to go by the tradition ways, and is known to disappear for weeks at a time. Her weapon of choice is a double sided war scythe.


    Ghasam
    At this moment Ghasam is widely mysterious to the other planets. Though it is certain that it is very icy and cold, there are no records of their civilizations or settlements. There are no real maps of the planet, and only the deities would have any important information on their god, Hesyn. Other than the origin story, nothing is known about Hesyn or his deity's powers. In his origin story, Hesyn is painted as a cold and cynical god. Being born the last, Hesyn was immature compared to his siblings. Hesyn distant himself, only showing favor to Balthazar, the all powerful force that allowed them to come into existence and gave them their planets. Hesyn has power over chaos and destructive energy. He has been known to create solar storms, meteor showers, and quasars. Hesyn is depicted in available historical texts as a grizzly humanoid being with talons for feet and green skin. often times he is hovering and carrying his bag of "chaotic energy"





    *Morvona and Kelmia are based on planets in the RP Dei Mundi that was run by henri. Thank you so much for inspiring me to create this whole RP.

  • - Available Classes -


    Fighter- Using mainly traditional weapons (swords, shields, battle axes, etc), focuses on keeping everyone safe in melee battle and in general. Mana crystals can add certain abilities and effects on weapons and their wielders.



    Technician- During the rise of metal work in Tasrano and Breque over the last 100 years, a new class of fighter has been born. They use guns, cannons, bombs, and even robots to their advantage. Available power supply being water, steam, and lava shards.



    Medic- These individuals have become irreplaceable during the war, but has been around just as long as the traditional classes. The people of Morvona all have a basic understanding of healing. Across the board, all healing is made possible by the healing crystals found abundantly or scarcely on all planets. Medic can heal serious wounds, and can even bring someone back from the brink of death with enough skill and mana. Medics can also cure corruption at a high enough skill level.


    Rouge- Use stealth and shadows, rouges can make deathly assassination attempts and even steal from unfortunate targets with ease. They can pick locks, disarm traps, and heighten senses that match that of a ranger. They have low light and dark sight. Disguise themselves and impersonate targets.



    Rangers- Bows, crossbows, and animal familiars are a ranger's best friend. Bows and crossbows can be equipped with mana crystals for added effects on arrows, and they have heightened senses that help with tracking and scouting. Animal familiars can be bears, flying animals (except dragons), felines, canines, reptiles, and any animal that can survive on land, and have the capacity to take orders. Rangers can only get a general understand from all animals that they have an affinity with on past situations and events. Affinities are related to your familiar, any questions about it don't be afraid to ask.


    Scientist- While healing crystals are the quickest and most reliable way to heal, there are other means to do the job. Scientists have a deep understanding of chemistry and botany.They are able to make tonics and potions to have all types of effects, including healing. Scientists can also make deadly poisons, cure illnesses, and even make elixirs that work similarly to mana crystals to drink.



    Researcher- They can also double as scholars and diplomats. They handle information gathering, have a greater chance of understanding local lores and languages. Researchers are valuable to have when going to expeditions, dungeons with puzzles for traps, or to discover new things with scientists, rangers, and technicians.


    - General Gem and mana info -

    Gems come in two different types. Destructive and healing. Only one type of gem can be effectively used in battle. Anyone, regardless of planetary background, can use all types of tier 1 gems. Tier 1 can be likened to commercial or general use items. These gems can be fastened on objects to give them corresponding elemental or healing effects. Tier 2 and up are for professional and military use. Both healing and destructive have 5 tiers of gems.

    As the gem tier raises more mana and skill are needed to properly use them. If too much mana is used, the welder will first get exhausted, then pass out, followed by falling in a coma, finally, if an extreme amount of mana is used, over the limit of the person, death will occur. No amount of healing can bring back long-dead people (just to note if a PC health drops and death occurs medics or a special and rare potion can bring back the PC back to very low health. Medics at a high enough level can only do this once per day.).

    Higher tiered gems will be rarer to find and mine, tier 5 gems being heavily regulated and distributed to Royal families and temple uses. Both types of gems cannot be used at the same time due to the amount of dedicated mana needed by the gems at the moment of use. While different elemental gems can be used by one person, depending on the origin planet, that person will have a natural affinity to one type of elemental crystal. Kelmia is
    earth, Anmos is fire, Morvona is light, Breque is water, Tasrano is ice, Ghasam is air.


    Sub elemental effects are viable. This should be put under specialty in your CS. For example, if you use fire gems, you can have a sub-elemental "power" of controlling lava. No matter if you have sub power or not if you use tier 2 and up you need to come up with "spells" that correspond with the type of gem. The amount is determined by the tier. (E.i tier 4 gets 4 "spells") The number of times you can use each gem in a 24hr period depends also on the tier. Tier 5 is 2, tier 4 is 4, tier 3 is 6, tier 2 is 8, tier 1 is 10.

    Objects that are overused will deteriorate over time. Gems that try to be used passed its daily limits will start to crumble and shatter, rendering it unusable. Healing is much more involved than destructive gems. Medics should have an array of tiered light gems, but should not try to bulk up on too many higher tiered gems, since healing requires a bit a life force from the welder as well, more when the gem is higher in tier.

    Every gem can be used as is or made into an object for easier use. Jewelry, armor, and weapons are the most popular ways to craft gems into items. Weapons and armor with gem slots on them are the most common way for fighters to use them. Weapons slots can not be easily be changed and requires a rune master to swap out gems. Medic usual have amulets and other jewelry. Non-combat individuals may use armor or jewelry with gems embedded for passive protection.


    Power crystals are special gems that can be used without human mana. They take the residual mana in whatever material they are bonded to and give effects corresponding to the type of gem. Power crystals are used for machinery, Robots, traps, locks, and anything else that is meant to react to human contact or work on its own. Only one power crystal can be bonded to a device, and the quality(tier) and use determine the life of the crystal. Replacing these crystals is the same as regular gem swap.

    If the gem is actively being used for its effect, a rune must be carved near the gem in the old god's tongue for the desired effect to occur. Runemasters, often researchers with special knowledge in the old god's tongue or members of the royal family, can be contacted to set elaborate traps and effects. Run of the mill effects are common knowledge and could be learned through a rune library in every major city.

    1. No hateful speech or harassment. This is Iwaku community rules in general.
    2. Any disputes that cannot be settled like mature beings should be brought to me via a three-way PM.
    3. Posts need to be around a paragraph (5-8 sentences) long. It should include something to reply or react to. This is the best way to keep the IC going. I would claim that I am looking for intermediate leveled posts.
    4. Do not take control of others characters unless you have permission.
    5. Keep your starting equipment and crystals realistic to the background and setting of the RP. This means if you are a poor farmer you would not have the latest in armor and Amber gems at the start of the RP. However, evil characters are allowed so you could be a highly skilled thief that raided Kelmia's military artillery some years ago. However, would you be able to settle in Peaceful Morvona while going unnoticed due while using clearly branded and uniquely crafted armor and stolen gems from Kelmia? Just food for thought.
    6. Creating NPCs does not have to only be the GMs job, and I really have no opposition about it. However, it goes without saying that only the GM would have previously unknown information about world events and important info that drives the story. I will take over your NPC if I feel like they could contribute to the story telling. Of course, if that happens I will shot you a pm letting you know so no one gets offended. Also, if you make an NPC, you're responsible for posting interactions if they arise with other players.
    7. Very important! When in battle, You will post what you plan for your character to use and where their location is. In the enemy post/turn, I will determine if it's successful. I will be using the dice roll feature on IWAKU to determine damage, hits, and attack damage to players. AS previously stated in the gem section, player characters will not die unless you want them to (through PM). NPCs, however, can be killed if not necessary to the story progression. Unless I feel like a character would have knowledge of the enemy, info will not be disclosed to the players up front. If one would know, I will put the general info as a post header. Battle loot as well as all items bought and stolen IC will be explained by the GM, for the characters to divide amongst themselves.
    8. I am free to change and add rules as I want. Make sure you check back here every so often.

I can see them on mobile, but when I'm on the PC I can't see them.

Origin planet- Breque.
Mortal alignment- Chaotic Good.
Class- Mostly defensive fighter/Healer.
Specialty- Water Manipulation/Hydrokinesis; Minor healing abilities.
-Water Tsunami: Ability sends specific amount of energy from crystal into one direct spot of a water mass, and pushes it, hard enough to raise a big wave.
-Mechanization: Asriel is able to control water within mechanisms that use water (like one's on Breque), activating or deactivating these mechanisms.
-???: A powerful locked move.
Strengths- Tactics, Acting, Defense, Water Manipulation.
Weaknesses- Inability to kill people (That doesn't stop him from nearly killing them), quite emotional although hides it.
Group roll- Defensive Fighter/Healer.

Personality- Asriel shows himself as a goal-freak, that only sees the goal, and nothing else. Apparently, he would deeply care about each member of team, trying to help them as much as he can, but secretly. Asriel is also extremely concerned about his past, wishing that no one should know it.
Background- Asriel past is quite blurry for others. Not that he doesn't want to share it - he says that he "forgot" almost everything... but, who would believe that?
Apparently, he was born at Breque, and grown there. By an unknown circumstances, he had to flee from the planet, leaving all his past life, and traveling through solar system. To people, he usually said that it was financial problems, to others: death of parents. Yet true reason remains unknown...
Now, he ended up on Morvona, wanting to continue his journey further away...
Gear and weapons- Asriel usually uses two crystals - one water tier 3 crystal, which passed down his mysterious bloodline; and one split up healing crystal, tier 1. Water crystal is inserted in specific amulet, granting Asriel quite powerful control over water. Two pieces of healing crystal are each inserted into two rings - one on left hand, and one on right hand.

<PERSONALITY>
To most people Dion comes off as a cold person , who rarely shows any emotion and makes no attempt to trust anyone. He does not suger coat any thing and will speak his mind. this leads people to believe that he is Distrustful because of his habit of never lowering his guard even around comrads. Another trait that Dion expresses is that he is very observant and has an knack for reading people by the way they carry them selves. only the few that have gained Dions trust, knows that he is loyal to the core and cares deeply for his companions survival. Any one who has traveled with Dion and his wolf knows that his personality is conflicted due to his trust issues. though it is unintentional Dion he gives hints on what kind of man he once was .Anyone that is observant would know that Dion was once a man who was once a carefree man that would always see to good in people . due to pass events in Dions life, he had tossed his faith aside .

<BACKGROUND>
Dion was raised from a native tribe of natives that lived in the frozen mountains of Tasrano. There he learned how to survive in the harsh conditions and to live off of the land . He was 18 when his tribe was discovered by the Tasrano military there were passing by . One of the commanders that approched the tribe looking for a guide had brought a girl with white hair that reassembled that of a white wolf . Mesmerized Dion pleaded with the village elder to allow him to be the guide for the military .

After there mission was completed the commanders were impressed with Dion, they offered to make him a solgier . by then Dion had already fallen madly in love with the the white haired maiden so it did not take him a seconde thought to accept the offer. As the years passed Dion grew through the ranks becoming a fine solgier . This was needed since the woman that he wanted to make his wife was the daughter of a General . After 12 years of service Dions retirement was granted along with the approvel of his fiancés Father .

After being wed the two moved back to Dions home land and built a house were they could enjoy there new life together. But there is no happy ending in a solar system full of war . Dion learned that the hard way . An attack party sent by the Kelmia military had found there home in the forest on the frozen mountains . knowing they would couldent outrun the party . Dion did every thing in his power to hold back the attackers so his wife could escape. luckly his tribe came to his aid giving him the chance to make sure his wife was ok .

It did not take long for him to catch up to his wife . luckly she was unharmed but for Dion he was badly wounded and was loosing too much blood. while trying to mend his wounds a few enemy solgiers had manage to catch up and surround the two. He begged them to allow his wife to leave but it was pointless . they were already set on excuting the both of them .
Like any husband would, Dion held his wife tightly praying that maybe there was a slight chance that she would somehow survive this .

<THREE YEARS LATER (current time )>
Dion was now wondering the solar system with the company of his white wolf. He spent most of the hours of the day in a bar trying to supress his memorys with alcohol.
That was until he had met a woman whos life was also effected by the war . The womans will to keep moving forward seemed foolish at first , but at the same time Dion agreed with her .
Seeing that Shei quickly warmed up to the woman which was strange since she would attack any one who approched Dion , He decided to join the woman on her mission to put an end to this war.

- A helmet That Dion obtained during his time in the military . It can be unfurled and retracted into a colar that Dios wears on his neck, it has an atmospheric re-breather system that lets Quill survive the vacuum of space unaided for a short time .

@Kazuaki Yoshioka so far so good. i would say for ice age, he would need like atleast 8 tier 2 ice arrows for that awesome effect, the most you use pass 8, the better the range but the more risk you take for over exerting yourself and passsing out. for a rule of thumb. let me know when your done.

Personality- Porter is loyal, brave and care-less about himself, running in front of every attack flying into his allies. He usually doesn't care what happens to himself, carrying more about others. Apparently, now he is carrying only about Asriel, trying to surround him with as much care as he can.
Background- Porter was born on Breque, working as a normal engineer for temple. Apparently, after several years, he fell in love, and decided to spend life in temple. He then met Asriel, caring for the boy. Apparently, Asriel and Porter had to flee several years after, by unknown circumstances. Porter tried to surround Asriel with care, and stop his depression, but it didn't work. Now, they are stranded on Morvona, trying to get away from something...
Gear and weapons- Unlike most of crystals, which usually represent some certain element, Porter uses gem of technology as his main gem. Technology gem is kept in special bracelet. Porter additionally uses sword (without gem), and sand crystal earring. Technology crystal bracelet is tier 4, and sand crystal earring is tier 3.

Hardworking:
Mari doesn't like doing things half-assed. If she's gonna put the effort into doing something she might as well give it her all. Besides, the payoff, in the end, is better if she stays focused and works hard. Not to mention people generally like it more when people try hard than when they don't give a shit. But she's not hardworking just because she doesn't like to do badly(She really hates to perform badly, though. Like it's a pet peeve) Marinette also works hard because she enjoys giving it her all. She's not a workaholic but she does like to push herself, that much is true.


Soft-spoken:
Marinette is a pretty quiet person, not having much to say all the time and when she does she isn't obnoxious or anything. She's also shy in nature. When she has to give her pitch to a ground of people for critique or speaking in front of crowds, meeting new people or dealing with unpleasant people, it doesn't matter Mari is not a social butterfly. She's awkward in conversations at times, easily embarrassed and a bit on the sensitive side. It should be clear that Mari hates this trait about herself the most and is really self-conscious about it.


Creative:
Ever since she was young her imagination has been wild. Some lose their childlike imagination as the grow up and go through the trials of life. Luckily, Mari's stuck with her through all of that. Now that doesn't mean she's childish, oh gods no! There are just some things that come easier to Marinette than others. Sure, she's book smart but she is way more creative than she is book-smart. Coming up with unique ideas and actually applying them to something is something she's good at. Not to mention her ever-vivid imagination. She get's inspired to work on anything, everything is her muse.


Kind-hearted:
Deep at heart, Marinette is a genuinely nice person. No, not innocent (even though she is innocent) but like a really good person. A lawfully good type of character. Doesn't need to be told to do something twice, has a hard time doing the 'wrong' thing, all that good stuff, that's Mari in a nutshell. She has a strong sense of justice and is naive enough to view the world in black and white in terms of good vs bad. Still, she continuously puts other's well-being above her own and is always doing the right thing, not to be noticed, but because it's the 'right thing'.

As ladybug, however, the shy innocent girl that was Marinette seems to melt away in the background and a new persona appears. Ladybug is everything that Mari is not. That can be a good thing and a bad thing as well. As someone who goes out of their way to help people to the best of the abilities she's been given, Ladybug has to be strong enough, physically and mentally, to faces the hurdles that are thrown at her. Sometimes LB can be a little too brave, borderline reckless, in the way she carries herself. This is probably one of the main reasons Mari admires LB so much. Mari can't help but view herself as some weakling that shies away from everyone and slithers around in the background. Meanwhile, LB eats up the attention but is still humble about it.


Outspoken:
LB is the social life of the party, unlike Mari who remains silent and awkward. LB knows just what to say and when to say it. She's also not afraid to speak up and speak out. Awkward tripping over her sentences? Ha! That's a thing of the past! Suddenly, as LB, it's almost as if she is finally confident in herself so she can speak with ease. A thing she struggles with greatly as Marinette.


Reliable:
As Marinette, she just feels like she means well, and she wants to help everyone, but she just can't. She always feels like she'll be letting someone down, and that alone pushes her to work harder. As LB, suddenly her pessimistic outlook changes. Suddenly, she can do anything. At least, she believes so and the influence of the mind is a strange and a powerful thing.

One of Marinette's many talents is that her accuracy is off the charts. Her ability to hit her target has gained her quite the reputation back on her homeworld, even beyond. It's one thing to train and be good at something, but it's an entirely different story when you're gifted, a natural, at something. Marinette's fighting style and occupation require her to be as accurate as possible, so she has trained hard to hone in those natural skills she has. Being in a place where technology was booming and far more advanced than any other bodily enhancements became a thing. Marinette has cybernetic eye implants that help her to see better than the normal human could. In addition to her custom weapons, her eyesight is even better. This shoots her accuracy to an entirely different level. Living on Tasrano she has an affinity for working with Ice crystals. It's her go to and almost everyone on the planet uses them. But she also worked constantly in the magma chambers so the element of fire wasn't that new to her either. Does she have a higher affinity for ice than fire? Yes, she does. But does she also prefer fire crystals over the others? Yes, yes she does. Last but not least, the core of what she is, is that she's a technician. She works closely with the technology that has shaped her fighting style greatly. She's super creative and can create just about anything. She loves fixing things that are broken and messing with things that aren't. Most of the times improving them. When it comes to that area she likes to consider herself one of the experts. People come to her for advice when it involves technology. Marinette likes to believe she has a special connection with it, which would explain why she's so good at what she does.

Strengths:

Marinette is pretty good at a number of things. She had to be in the competitive world she was living in. It wasn't just okay to be good. She had to be the best or at least better than your average person. Marinette is a tinker by nature. She loves taking things apart to see how they would work, them improving them or fixing them when they break. She didn't just limit that to weapons either, which was what she usually worked with, but all around she's your regular old fixer upper, a handy(wo)man of sorts. To be good in her trade she had to learn a little math. So she considers herself to be pretty good with numbers, degrees, angles, and measurements. Which in turn helps her to be better at using those weapons she makes. Marinette is pretty adaptable. If you knock her down she won't stay down for long. Sure she's stubborn and persistent so that's part of the reason she won't stay down, but she finds ways around her problems fairly quickly. She's a quick thinking on her feet and a bit of a problem solver at times. When fighting and things don't go exactly as planned she readjusts and tries again.

Weaknesses:

While Marinette might be good at a lot of things, she has some glaring flaws that she's not comfortable with. Her shyness being a number one thing. Sometimes being socially awkward drives potential customers away and she needs all the money she can get her hands on. She also has good intentions but her sense of justice is equally strong, maybe even stronger than her will to help others. Because of that, she won't do anything outside of what is law and if she's forced to she feels terribly bad about it. That also means that she tends to be blind to those that work around the law to help others as well. The world is black and white to her. Either you do wrong or you do good, no in-between and no exceptions. There's been once case of an exception and that's when she decided to become a bounty hunter. Even know, with her success as LB, she regrets her decision a little and lives with the guilt. Another thing about her that people seem to take advantage of is her kind heart. Sometimes, she just can't say no, even when she really wants to. She talks herself out of rejecting them and instead complies. Now she's not like this all the time, but she's like this enough to the point that it needs to be mentioned.

Group Role: Master Forger / Fighter

If having your own weapon master on the ready isn't good enough, then having a repair man should be. By day Marinette is a working machine, willing and able to help everyone in her team out. Did your precious weapon break, have no fear Mari will fix it right up for you. Oh! But don't think just because she's on your team that it comes for free. Maybe you'll even wake up to find that your weapon is new and improved. Mari probably couldn't keep her hands off the thing, it was haunting her in her sleep so she finally had to work on it. But when she isn't helping out the team equipment wise she takes up her guns and mini armory and starts fighting too.

Normally when she fights it's as Ladybug, which is a secret identity of her's. Since LB is a bounty hunter and all and she wouldn't want her real identity exposed so that people could target her loved ones. So when she takes up arms she adorns her battle color red and get's suited up for the fight. Marinette doesn't like close quarters combat so she makes sure to stay at range. Either sniping to take kills for herself or support sniping for her team. Or she and Tikki can be a distraction, don't be fooled by the cuteness, Tikki is a combat robot and she's armed and ready to take you down should Marinette command her to. Using their flashy bombs and things they can draw attention away from key members of their party. But don't sleep on this duo, they're known to be quite a deadly pair.

Marinette is a little shorter than the average girl but that's nothing to sniff at. Insult her height though and she'll make sure to stuff your body someplace the sun won't shine. She's constantly moving and constantly getting a workout, building up her metabolism so she has muscles in the right places, but she also has curves in the right places. Even while holding onto that 'fit' physique she still looks 'soft' and 'delicate' like a woman should be. She has pale skin so when she's out in the sun she doesn't stay for too long. She doesn't tan, she just burns and it doesn't feel good. Her eyes are a nice shade of light blue like her mother's and her hair is onyx black and shoulder height in length. She usually wears her hair in pigtails tied with individual ribbons. When it comes to everyday wear she wears something that she's not afraid to get dirty, but will also keep her warm. Unless she's working in the magma chambers that evening then she has warm clothes and then strips into something that won't kill her from the heat. As LB she adorns this red and black battlesuit symbolic to a ladybug. Like this , Or this She usually has mask on as well just to take that extra step to hide her identity.

Adrien is then the epitome of grace and elegance, dressed in the finest quality to accentuate his good features.

As Black Cat, however, all this carefulness flies out of the window. His hair is wild, standing up in all directions and so are his eyes. They flicker and twinkle as his eyes seek out in curiosity for a new adventure. Clad in black leather to hide himself in the nights and his trusted baton at his side the Black Cat is unafraid to enter whatever situation presents itself.

GENERAL

A Hopeless Romantic
Many would be surprised with how the usually charismatic Adrien is an utter sucker for 'romantic' scenarios. While he doesn't lack any choices in potential dates, and lovers, the male has an incredibly idealised and rose coloured view on romance. He can be often found dreaming away to his 'romantic fantasies' in which he is planning out the 'encounter' of his life, or how he would profess his love, or be confessed to. Along with a love for romantic works like Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice (movie and book), or the incredibly sugared romance series based on Sissi, or the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet from Shakespeare, Adrien does not lack any direction in which he could dream away at. Though, he does hope that his love story might end up a little more lucky than Romeo and Juliet did, of course.

His most ideal romance would be one in which he finds his one true love, marries the significant other, gets children and that they grow old happily ever after. It should be noted how he idealises the relationship to be perfect, dreaming it up as one where he never gets into a disagreement or a fight with his significant other. A sugary sweet pink cloud he imagines his love life to be, and he only want to aim it once and aim it true.

However, Adrien does realise that his view on romance is a little clouded and surreal. He knows that romances can't be as sugary sweet, or smooth like described in the stories he loves so much. The example was very much set by his quarrelling parents. Yet he always hopes for it secretly. A man can always hope, and Adrien is going all out for his 'happily ever after'. In that sense the male never learns, no matter how often reality slaps him across his face, or his heart gets trampled on. The stories of the failed romances of peers or family doesn't seem to apply to him, or so he wishes to believe. He remains faithful to his dreams and hopes, causing him to forever chase down this pink cloud of love.

Encouraging Affectionate
Never one to back off himself, or to believe that failure is the end. Adrien is one of these people who would back anyones dreams and passions without question. Whether it is big, small, silly, or impossible he would, as he believes a friend, or anyone really, is ought to do so. Adrien likes to help out in every way he can. Whether that is by cheering them on at the side lines, or by offering them a hand, the male is known for his selfless and helpful nature.

Adrien admires these who have a dream to chase and fulfil and do so openly. Partly because he can'y express his own ideals and dreams himself to the public as Adrien, mostly because he always has been told what to do, with the pressure of his own image on top. It is a point of flaw that bothers him the most about himself, making him admire others so much more who do have a clear goal in mind and can chase it without a mask. As such the young man has a personal reason to encourage everyone to choose their hearts, finding the romance in that endearing as he doesn't have the freedom for it himself.

Asides from that Adrien believes that everyone deserves equal chances and a shot to their goals. Poor or rich, young or old, strong or weak, he doesn't really believe that there are boundaries set, or that there is anything that could only be exclusively meant for a certain group. Adrien simply doesn't wish to believe in such discrimination and is willing to help anyone in any way to overcome these barriers of objections many may have.

UNMASKED

Perfectly Obedient
As the son of Gabriel Ashell the diplomat of Kelmia, there are certain standards bound to him. Wishing to please his father and receive his love and affection Adrien generally acts like the 'good son', doing whatever is asked of him and dealing with the heavy expectations placed upon him.

To the outside Adrien might seem like a talented kid that is involved in all sort of activities. An all-rounder that seems to be talented in just about everything. However, while the boy does ace most of the things he puts his hands on, he lacks a real passion. A typical Jack of all trades, but ace of none. A fact he is aware of, but doesn't show outside. After all, his pristine image is to remain intact, just like he knows his father expects from him, following diligently through with his schedule.

Adrien is presented as an deity to the public. Son of a wealthy and powerful family, child of many talents, a brilliant tactician, a strong soldier. A role model for the new generation, the symbol of hope for the future of Kelmia. The male is seen as many thing, basking in a glorious light to represent the brightness of his future and career. An image carefully crafted for him in all of the ways his father used him, the fruits of Gabriel's efforts to create the son he, and everyone else, always wanted.

Charismatic Shy
A little shy, but at the same time so gorgeous that he only needs a smile for the world to swoon at his feet. Adrien's appearance helps him a great deal in his reputation and charms. The fact that he seems to be a little awkward around people only seems to add in to his points.

Most of the times, when one meets Adrien, they meet the model-Adrien. The one that pretends to like nobles, who acts like they are the perfect son(-in-law) to have, that knows how to play the crowd and what to say with his dashing smile. The one who is endlessly loyal to his roots, that would never betray their origins and fights till the bitter end if their nation were to ask for it. However, that is only an outer appearance that he had to develop professionally.

Deep inside Adrien is incredibly awkward around his peers, often clueless on how to interact and make friends. Due to his secluded upbringing and busy agenda the male wasn't given much leisure time to spent with his friends, or to make them at all. Most of his social time was spent on networking, walking, talking, eating and drinking between the higher company who all expected nothing less but the best from the son of diplomat Ashell. This leaves him a little impaired as he was taught how to speak professionally, but never as himself, casually. Adrien never had been taught how to be himself, as being himself was said to be a bad thing, would tarnish his father's plans and destroy his reputation. As such he is a little reserved whenever interactions become more personal and private, as he has his guards up, not wanting to hurt anyone due to his own inabilities.

MASKED

Wild Bravado
Once the mask and the suit comes on, Adrien transforms as an individual. His usual demeanour disappears and in comes a more confident, brash version of himself. Truth is, however, that this is also part of who Adrien is. Part of who he truly is, but doesn't show in fear of being judged, falling down the pedestal, or the disapproval of his loved ones.

When Adrien transforms into this form, unrecognisable from the public figure he is, the male becomes more confident in his attitude, almost to the point of becoming cocky, where he likes to boast about the many skills he has. This sudden growth in confidence also makes him reckless, jumping into situations he normally wouldn't enter without careful thought. It makes him more daring, doing the things he always wanted, but never dared.

It is in that momentum that Adrien also transforms in the infamous renegade Black Cat is known for today. The ideals that the male has, but never expressed, comes forward the strongest then. This rogue doesn't work for money, he has plenty of wealth, but for his own ideals. The ideal that everyone is equal, that everyone deserves the same. As such he steals and tricks the rich and gives and nurtures the poor. it makes him popular in the lower circles, but scorned by the higher ups. Black Cat, however, doesn't care, he just does what he believes to be just and that is to help the weak and defeat the strong.

Good, or bad, that is grey to him anyway. Having grown up with law at his side, or even above law due to his father's status, Adrien has learnt the hard way how unfair the system can be. Theoretically it sounds like a solid system, but Adrien has seen how practise has been far from perfect. This pain and confusion has translated itself in Black Cat's movements as he always tries to do what is good and what is right, but would hesitate to break rules in place if he believes that it stands in the way from what he believes entails being good and right.

Honestly Loyal
Where Adrien is shy and careful in his approaches and words, Black Cat is bold and open. With the mask on Adrien dares to say and show a lot more of his emotions than he usually does without. He becomes more open in a character, more approachable and inviting to talk about the various interests he has, what news moves him, and what triggers him.

It could be that the anonymity and freedom the mask gives him makes it easier for Adrien to relax, resulting in a different attitude. However, both sides, with or without the mask, are one and the same boy pressured by expectations on a daily base. That he expresses himself better without a mask doesn't change the fact that Adrien is extremely loyal to his loved ones, no matter what appearance he takes on. Feeling responsible for the well being of everyone else, the male would often take their worries close to heart, wishing to help out in every way he can. Help he usually offers as Black Cat instead of his civilian self, believing that his alter-ego can accomplish so much more while it is only a difference in appearance and name.

This slight difference means a great deal to Adrien, however. Black Cat is the honest, more out going and daring version of what Adrien is. The one who has the freedom to do whatever, who has no burdens and expectations placed upon him. It relieves the daily stress from Adrien that he faces as a public figure and makes him bolder. Braver, as he chases down his ideals and his believes actively.

As Black Cat the male doesn't get to wander around aimlessly. The rogue has, despite all of his good intentions, made many enemies from especially the higher circles. There is a bounty on the rogue and as such Adrien needs to make sure that his identity as the diplomat's son and the rogue never get mixed up, or even remotely close to each other. His two appearances and different names help him in that regard, but there is more. Black Cat is extremely stealthy and deft in his moves, like a stray cat is known for. Cautious and always on the move, while Adrien is smooth and grounded within his own world. This stark difference in attitude and presentation often has it that no one will associate the two of them and helps to avoid suspicion. However, that isn't the only reason why he needs to be nimble on the feet and quick with his hands. Black Cat needs to hide, escape, run from authorities, but also to help these who are in need of him. For this all to be possible he can't be tardy, nor witless, or ever be caught. As such this speciality of his isn't only part of the basic arsenal of a rogue, but also part of the many layers and walls he has set up around himself to protect both identities.

▸ Sharpened senses
At day he is Adrien, but at night he becomes Black Cat. The rogue has, over the years, trained himself for stronger senses. To see better in the dark, but also move around more effectively. Over the years the male has trained himself in almost cat-like abilities, all to ensure that he can move around as Black Cat as efficiently as possible. However, there are limits to how far he can train himself and to help himself a little further Adrien uses gems. One of such gems, carved with the appropriate runes, gives his eyes the extra amount of light needed to see better in the dark. The result being the trademark lit eyes that many witnesses claim the Black Cat to have.

It goes without saying that Adrien displays none of these heightened senses when in his civilian form. The gems that help him are hidden and he puts in special effort to make sure that he doesn't display any of these abilities following out of his heightened senses are known to the public.

▸ Heightened athleticism
Coming from a planet where military is put on a high pedestal Adrien has been trained as a typical boy from Kelmia. He has been trained to fight, willed to become stronger than the rest, demanded to be faster, smarter and just in overall better. As such Adrien has trained since young in a variety of sports, but mostly fighting sports. Sword fighting, armour, skill shots, he wasn't exempted from anything by his father's demand. Not that the male minds it much, he likes sports and he doesn't mind being constantly on the move as it takes his mind off everything. As such the blond is remarked and known as quite the athlete, active and interested in a wide variety of sports and good on his feet. This helps out in his image to the public in his civilian form, but also in the background as Black Cat where he utilises all of his skills, learned and self-acquired, efficiently to keep himself out of trouble and accomplish his goals.

▸ Deep political understanding
As the son of a diplomat Adrien has always been embroiled in the midst of politics. While the male is usually told not to express too much of an opinion, having to keep himself neutral and always side with Kelmia. After all, a diplomat represents their own planet of origin and to disagree with their politics would look like they are indecisive, or worse. This experience gives Adrien the advantage to understand the workings and the reasoning behind decisions from governments, but also the ability to predict their current state and what will follow in the near future. It is a powerful piece of knowledge that Black Cat has used for black mail and manipulation whenever facing corruptions. Granted, he didn't make the corruption go away, as they are still seated. He simply doesn't have that much radical power, but at least he managed to make a good deal out of it for the wider public, which is always his aim.

▸ Multilingual
Growing up exposed to so many different cultures made it easier for the boy to pick up typical traits of these people, one of them being language. The constant travelling and new environment he was exposed to has it that Adrien learnt to pick up on new words quickly, learning to observe patterns and learn how to converse by himself. The fact that his father made a special effort to have him be taught the basics of the places they went to live at has helped out greatly as well. As such Adrien is capable of speaking several languages, not all fluently, or considered proficiently, but at least on a basic level required to get around and understand the people.

▸ Keen cultural interest
Having travelled so much Adrien has seen much of what the universe has to offer. People, languages, different cultures. It is due to this exposure at a young age that the male has realised how culture can determine one's opinions, their actions, behaviour, morals, etc... It intrigues him, to see how traditions, history, language and even food can change and influence a person.

All these characters in the good spectrum, I wonder if this means we are going to get someone who is chaotic evil just to balance things out.
 
or something dramatic could happen in the story that turns someone evil >=D

@RecentlyInsaneRussian ohhhhhhh i hope your not talking about what i think your talking about....unless there is another show about gems that i dont know about.....>.>

well just an update I have been waiting on more characters to come in to see what the roles and class choices will be. One of my CS will involve a researcher that will be the "leader/navigator" just to make things easier NPC wise on myself later on. I plan on have three characters if needed, only two if we have enough roles and classes filled. like i posted earlier i want this RP to be up IC wise by this sunday. No pressure, to anyone that is not finished, or future newbies. The sign up will be open until I have the maximum amount of players im comfortable with.
 
Also, I was just thinking:
When finding jewelry with gems, I had a hard time to determine which gems represent what. So I thought: maybe we should make a possible list of gems, and their possible representations?
Like: Pearl: Hologram, Sand, Water, etc
Lapis Lazuli: Water, Luck, Paint, etc
Bismuth: Technology, Blacksmith, Artificial Life, etc
And so on. The grade of possibility of representation will be shown through location after gem name (gem name: possible, can also be, very strange/origin meaning)

Hmm...I like that idea, the question is are we going to just stick with gemstones? The reason I ask is due to you listing Bismuth which is a metal.
