TRUE NAME
Annabelle (Count Roland)

CLASS
Saber

ALIGNMENT
Neutral Good

STATS
Strength - B++
Endurance - A
Agility - B
Magical Energy - C
Luck - B

CLASS SKILLS
Magical Resistance - A
In possession of the indestructible sword, Durandal, it came with no surprise during her course as one of if not the best Paladin out of the Twelve Peers who served Charlemagne, to have an abundant amount of resistancy against magic. Though not immortal against it, the relics used to forge or make Durandal, helped her gain such tolerance. Having been a part of and thriving, surviving through many battles for the Frankish people, the sword eventually became a very huge part of her life. They were essentially never separated from one another. Like, quite literally.

Riding - B
Annabelle was exceptional with her horse Veillantif. A black steed which was more or less considered a warhorse. However, having ridden a horse most of the time, she has the capability of riding vehicles similar to it. Modern vehicles alike.

PERSONAL SKILLS
Independent Action - B
Annabelle was an amazing Paladin and a force to be reckoned with whenever she was fighting for what she believed in. A woman who not only protected the Frankish people, and her army or Charlemagne's, but one who also sought out fame, honor and one who wanted to achieve greater deeds than what she currently had. Despite her reputation, her bravery, her courage, she was all too reckless in some of her battles. Her pride could be considered her enemy. There were times where she was reckless and didn't listen to reason, where she could've come out victorious a lot sooner, and with less bloodshed. Doing what she wanted to do until the very end, this alone gives her the capability to survive without her Master for a few days.

Courage is a form of Resistance - A-
Annabelle was nothing but a courageous woman. Her wit and her mind, her prowess within the field of war was exceptional in its own. This alone gave her the means, no matter how the odds were stacked against her, to move towards their enemy. Bolstering her mind, her focus, her concentration, she would make sure she wouldn't falter until her dying breath. Her courage alone, inspired the many people under her command to follow her no matter where she went. This gives her a wider field of vision, making her hyper-observant. It gives her the capability to see her surroundings much more clearly and easier. Though she has to activate it in order for it to stay on passively.

To Endure is to Survive - B
Lets face it. It was her own pride and reckless-ness that cost her, her life. Though in the famous battle of Roncevaux Pass, she was more like a monster if anything. Cutting the limbs of her enemies. Fighting more than one opponent at the same time. One could've even considered Reylan a savage at that point. Under extreme pressure, her strength amplifies through her blade, giving her the opportunity to survive for an even longer period of time. Her blade becomes lighter, allowing her to cut through her opponents even faster than how she normally does. A fatal injury is obviously something that can easily stop the legendary Paladin.

The Searing Blade - C
Having a weapon that has been touched by heaven, or rather can be considered divine to a certain point, from its hilt down and to its outer edge, it will glow a sharp yellow, or rather golden. If cut by the blade during this moment, the enemy will feel like the cut is burning, as if he or she has been touched by the holy flame itself. Can only stay active for 2 minutes if anything. It takes more mana in order to heal such wounds.

Blessing of the Divine - C+
Annabelle did not only fight for the Frankish People, or Charlemagne himself, she also fought for the church. Her belief and her bravery among the Twelve Peers was unquestionable. This gives her the capability to heal the wounds of others. Though it does not work against fatal injuries. She can only do so much, and if anything, can be used only once per day.

Charisma - C
Having been a commander of an army, it shouldn't come as a surprise that she has the composite skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Increases the ability of allies during group battles.

Military Tactics - B
Annabelle led an army of amazing warriors under Charlemagne himself. She won many battles for the Frankish People and the Church. It shouldn't come as a surprise that she was a woman with a strategic mind. Therefore, she has the tactical knowledge used not only for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

WEAPON
Durandal
It was once called Durindana. A spear that could've been used as a sword as well if anything. It was used by Hector at one point. Though, once his time was over, the holy weapon was passed down to Charlemagne by an Angel of God. Its shape had changed, because it was forged once more before Charlemagne was given the sword. It was different, and was more or less a sword and nothing but that, and it had a new name; Durandal. Touched by heaven itself, it is an unbreakable sword but also the sharpest one in existence. After its existence as Durindana, it was re-forged with four sacred, or rather, holy relics, other than being delivered by an Angel. Once it was in Charlemagne's possession, it was later awarded to the legendary Paladin herself. For her valor, her deeds alone. She earned it, and it became a part of the remainder of her life.

NOBLE PHANTASM (1)
Durandal O'. Become My Bastion.
Rank - EX
Type - Anti-Unit (Self)
If there was one thing she wanted to do the most before she succumbed to the mortal wound during the Battle of Roncevaux Pass, it was to protect the people under her command. Protect the Frankish people from their enemy. Her undying conviction and will was able to manifest another form within Durandal. One could say that the holy sword accepted her wish. It was obviously too late by then, because only moments after, she died. However, Durandal, can also be used in a defensive purpose. Like a shield that can materialize before her. It retains the same features from Durandal itself. It can literally appear transparent, or actually materialize into a 'shield', keeping the same color and the divinity of Durandal itself. An unbreakable shield., just like the sword. An ultimate defense. It would theoretically hold up against anything. Block, parry and deflect anything coming its way, like a Noble Phantasm itself. This is basically an ability of Durandal itself.

NOBLE PHANTASM (2)
Smite Thy Enemies, Durandal!
Rank - A+
Type - Anti-Fortress

The holy weapon and the destructive power that comes with it. An unbreakable sword, or rather, an immortal one. A companion, a partner of the legendary Paladin herself. Once enough magical energy has been collected by her and the sword, she can strike the surface before her, in order to create a beam like explosion that starts like a beeline, a linear slash. However, approaching the target, or a destination, it will widen significantly like an arc, spreading, destroying anything in its path.

This particular Noble Phantasm can be used in another way as well. Just like the Excalibur, she can collect enough magical energy, before unleashing the destructive force from Durandal. Swinging in the direction of her opponent or an enemy, it will again, destroy anything in its path.

There is one last way one can utilize this particular Noble Phantasm. It is the third option, and is basically a reference to Hector and what Durandal once was; Durindana. She can literally throw the holy sword like a spear towards her destination. Whatever, or wherever it ends up, or stabs into, it will at the point of impact explode, destroying anything around it. No matter, the sword will still stay intact, and since its basically a part of the legendary Paladin herself, it will de-materialize and materialize back in her hand. During its flight path, it will continue to collect magical energy, making the blast on impact powerful.

PERSONALITY
Annabelle is a stoic person. A kind hearted woman, but with a brave and courageous heart. Noble in her acts, she is honorable towards those she respects, and those that are worthy of it. An observant woman who is hard to provoke. Does not back down from a challenge, but will always think before making her decisions. From her past, and from what she once was, the woman has the leadership skills one could find in a King or a Queen. To rally people under her, and for them to fight for her and what they believe in.

Pretty much fearless, she would rather embrace such an emotion, or feeling and turn it into strength. To continue forward, and to prevail against those that would be considered her enemies. From her past experiences, she is rather bold but also very loyal. One thing that has changed significantly since her death is her pride. Annabelle wont allow any more mistakes such as back in Roncevaux Pass. The reckless-ness within her is almost if not gone. Something she deeply regrets.

LEGEND
Every legend of Count Roland, both mythological and historical were actually true. However, it was never Count Roland who really did what everyone has been led to believe based on history, mythological or not. Actually, it was his twin sister, Annabelle. Unlike her own brother, she was a fierce woman. Roland himself was actually a coward, and pushed his sister to take his place in Charlemagne's court. Everything we know about Roland was actually Annabelle. The fame, or the reputation Annabelle received, was passed down to Count Roland. Being a twin sister, it was easy to 'become' Roland and protect Charlemagne, the church and the Frankish Empire. Every legend that has inspired the people was something Annabelle did.

At some point Charlemagne found out the truth, but kept it hidden. He couldn't help but compliment Annabelle for her work as a paladin. She even became the chief paladin from the Twelve Peers, or rather, the legendary paladin we all know about. The reason for why he kept it a secret was because of the Frankish People, or the army he commanded. It was to keep them from feeling inferior to Annabelle. The fact that a woman was leading the army during every battle. The fact that it was her own words, her leadership skills that inspired them to go against the odds that were not in their favor. The fact that they would die for the legendary Paladin herself. Astolfo was another paladin like her, and he was the only one who knew the true identity of Count Roland. The fact that it was Annabelle, and not her coward of a brother, Roland.

Her friendship with Astolfo bloomed ever so greatly. If anything, Astolfo would call her a drunk pervert, but this. This was all in the past. Annabelle never became a Countess. She died in battle, and to this day and age it has been well hidden, that the heroic deeds by Count Roland was actually his twin sister, Annabelle's doing.

Name: Josef Maximilian von Habsburg

Age: 19

Elemental Affinity: Heart

Alignment: True Neutral

"True neutral characters are concerned with their own well-being and that of the group or organization which aids them. They may behave in a good manner to those that they consider friends and allies, but will only act maliciously against those who have tried to injure them in some way. For the rest, they do not care. They do not wish ill on those they do not know, but they also do not care when they hear of evil befalling them. Better for others to suffer the evil than the true neutral and his allies. If an ally is in need, the true neutral will aid him, out of genuine love or because he may be able to count on that ally a little more in the future. If someone else is in need, they will weigh the options of the potential rewards and dangers associated with the act. If an enemy is in need, they will ignore him or take advantage of his misfortune."

Magic Circuits

Number: D
Quality: A

Magecraft/Abilities: One of the few things Josef was never good at was learning magecraft in any significant way. His pedigree of being a Habsburg destined him to be a mage, however complications during his mother's pregnancy, and his child birth, is contributed as why Josef never possessed the necessary genetics to become a truly great Habsburg mage. None of this bothers Josef, though.

Despite his short-comings, Josef has been able to masters the basics of magecraft, and even stretch himself into the realm of Mental Interference. Any spells he casts, though, aren't nearly as powerful as they could be, and most of them work only in loosest senses of the word. Magecraft has never been something Josef has relied on, or been a true student of, and it shows in his abilities.

Other Abilities: Being in a position where money was never a problem, Josef had many opportunities to learn useful, and some non-useful skills. In addition to his private tutoring by mages, Josef was mentored by masters of several other vocations. Musical instruments, horse-riding, hunting, hiking, fencing, soccer, and even learning how to speak a couple other languages are all things Josef was taught.

However, none of those skills are something Josef is truly great at. That is reserved for his favorite past-time. Motorcycle racing. More specifically, illegal motorcycle street racing. What started as a hobby, is now something Josef puts most of his efforts into. Rarely losing a race, anymore, and knowing the streets of Rome, Vienna, Naples, and Bologna like the back his hand, Josef is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to racing. His skills has even earned him a few nicknames from the Southern European street racing scene, the most popular being "Dolce Strada".However, Josef has never been good at hiding his passion, which has lead to trouble more often than not. Being from a family that has plenty of money has always helped him, though.

Mystic Codes/ Magical Items: A shred of the mantle of the original Holy Roman Emperors. The mantle possesses an ongoing passive aura that latches onto the user. The aura acts as a basic aura of suggestion, and amplifies positive feelings towards him. His voice seems sweeter, his skin seems smoother, and his words seem more convincing. However, the mantle is not powerful enough to convince enemies to become friends, although it could potentially help Josef with his attempts to at least calm their harmful intentions to himself. The shred relies heavily on the user being not only naturally charismatic, but also attractive, as it works best as a small boost to one's guile.

Weapons/Other Belongings: Josef has never been one for violence, or seen the need to carry any type of weapon on him. Rarely has Josef found himself in a position where violence was his only way out, even when he was on the verge of a fight.

Personality: Josef's personality is a strong-willed, determined, and often overly-confident to the point of arrogance, one. Used to always succeeding in his endeavors, or at least putting on the guise of always winning, Josef doesn't typically get stressed out. Every achievement is another notch in his belt. Every challenge, every skill, every trade, every situation is something to be mastered and beaten. This makes it difficult for Josef to truly take things as seriously as he should, or even worry or stress when such a reaction would be normal.

Skilled at getting people to like him, though, Josef could be best described as a charismatic, yet bombastic, individual. A contagious smile and laugh, a penchant for being able to hold interesting conversation with anyone, and a presence that makes many seek friendship with him, Josef can be labeled as the prototypical rich boy.

Josef's very nature thrives on competition, and overcoming the opposition and bending them to his will. However, it is not the excitement of beating another that makes Josef passionate about competition. It's about showing those around him what he had accomplished. Making others jealous, proud, or happy for him is what gives Josef's life meaning. Winning is everything to Josef, but only if he receives the sweet validation.

Short History:
Josef was born into the Habsburg family, a family of deep heritage and even deeper pockets. While not born directly to the main branch of the family, and in no way in line to inherit the Habsburg estate, Josef is still a Habsburg and enjoys the perks of his family name.

During his mother's pregnancy, Josef caused many problems before ever being born. Due to medical complications, Josef's mother became weak and sick, but refused to give up on her child. Unfortunately, the worst happened during Josef's birth. His mother died in the hospital, giving birth to a sickly child.

Josef spent more time in hospitals, with private nurses, and nannies than he did with his father. However, this did not mean his father did not love or cherish Josef. Being an only child, Josef's father spent a significant portion of his wealth attempting to save his child. Although, Josef's father could never bring himself to spend much personal time with his son.

As Josef grew older, him and his father started spending more time away from Vienna, and more time at their estate in Rome. Josef, now no longer sickly or weak, began private studies in earnest. Josef devoured every book he could, and hung on the words of every lecture. At the end of the days he spent teaching, Josef would often try to find his father, and shown him what he had learned. Either it be a new sentence in Italian, or English, or how he could draw a picture of himself and his dad, it was never enough to prompt Josef's father to connect more with his son. Spending most of the time out of the house, with Josef not knowing his whereabouts, Josef's father was less involved in his son's life than before. However, Josef's father continued to spend a considerable amount of funds on his son, to hopefully improve his life.

As Josef grew even older, and entered his teens, Josef had chances to see the outside world more. He traveled with his mentors, and even sneak out of his father's estate late at night. He made friends, learned new things, and realized what the world was about.

Getting older, Josef's father started to spend more time in Vienna, and Berlin, leaving Josef in Rome alone with his teachers and his own devices. Josef would attempt to travel more, spending more time outside of Rome and even attempting to catch his father at his estate at Vienna. Although, it always seemed that his father was away. The few times Josef sat down and conversed with his father, the conversations were formal, and awkward, almost as if Josef was talking to a business partner, and less a dad.

Eventually, Josef stopped chasing his father's shadow, and turned to his own devices once more. Traveling, studying, enjoying the world, Josef was, by all accounts, having the time of his life. Although, something always seemed to be missing. Trouncing one hill always led to the sight of another hill that needed conquered in the distance. It was never enough.

Everything changed when he received the letter, though. For the first time in his life, something not even racing could match, Josef's blood stirred in a violent way. Bursting with anticipation, and with enough money to last him, leaving behind him his father, his mentors, and his old home. Confident he would defeat the other 'contestants' and return home truly happy.

A+ strength for Mulan seems a bit much, but we'll see! Also, I'm done my second NP for Sinbad and I'm having so much fun designing him.

Mm, yah, doesn't seem like she has any particularly massive feats of strength in her own legend, or any super famous feats at all, outside of being a woman that served in the army for 12 years.

Hell, she's probably most well known from the Disney movie. XD

Exactly! I feel a lot of people like making Sabers have really high strength just because, but there are plenty of Sabers with lower strength stats. It's all fine to be a bit weaker.

something something her STR is literally equal to Hercules Berserker.

Also, I must ask: can Sinbad ride an explosion using his NP? XD

Depending. If you mean launch himself forward with an explosion from his NP, then maybe. If you mean turn an explosion into a NP with Shipwrecked Sailor, then sadly not because it has to be classified as a mount or vehicle in the same way the riding class works. Would be awesome if he could though! XD

Truly a pity. That being said, why is it ranked so high? Because of its versatility? Or is the explosion triggered by his destructive hijinks an A+ rank damage effect?

It's ranked high because of its versatility, in a similar way Fate/Zero's Berserkers NP is. I was debating whether to have it A or B, but either one works. Its explosion would probably be in the B-A range. Pretty much getting hit by it directly would put down most Servants.

I am still working things out for her. And one does not have to have some super awesome feats in the history to have great stats overall. Besides there isn't much known about her and I can probably add to it to make her more awesome or something. Besides, I am considering other heroes as well.

But the strength itself seems unnecessary and just added for the sake of making her awesome. Why do you need that strength there? By the sounds of 'or something' it seems like you literally put it in there for no reason.

Why does it seem unneccessary to you? The majority of the CS isn't even done yet. Other than what you've read at the wiki, why are you bothered by it? I mean, why dont you sit tight and wait for the finished CS instead of assuming things or coming to your own conclusions. The reason her strength is A+ is because I had originally intended for rest of her stats, like her NP to be less.

I'm bothered by it because just from the stats it seems like it doesn't fit. Also, having one high stat because the others are low isn't that good of a reason, as some Servants could just have bad stats overall. But yeah, I'll wait and see what happens.

I think it's best to just sit and wait to see what Akashi puts out. Drowsy and Epsir will have him change anything they don't agree with. No reason to get worked up about it right now.

Yeah I know, just giving my input in what I see ya know?

It is also not your decision to make. You are bothered by it because you believe the stats must align with super awesome feats in her legend or history. The way it has to be with every servant apparently. Thats wrong way of thinking. And one more thing, don't jump to the conclusion that I did what I did because I simply wanted her to be awesome because thats not the case. If there is constructive criticsm from you, I am all ears. However, right now, you are simply annoyed because it doesn't make sense.. And thats before the CS is even complete. This is quite frankly silly..

I do not believe they have to align with feats necessarily, but also because of notoriety. These are actually factually correct. And hey, I'm allowed to voice my opinion on something if I want. My constructive criticism would be to have her strength maybe be B and up her agility to A as that would probably fit better. Also, sorry if I offended you, but at the same time I didn't mean to.

@MechanicalHorse
Zerk's definitely open. And you got plenty of time, probs, considering how many CSes are still being worked on.
