Hi all. I'd like to tentatively request a spot as the Berserker, but it may take a day or two for me to materialize something satisfactory.
Yup, as said above it seems you've got time. What idea do you have if I may ask?

It is also not your decision to make. You are bothered by it because you believe the stats must align with super awesome feats in her legend or history. The way it has to be with every servant apparently. Thats wrong way of thinking. And one more thing, don't jump to the conclusion that I did what I did because I simply wanted her to be awesome because thats not the case. If there is constructive criticsm from you, I am all ears. However, right now, you are simply annoyed because it doesn't make sense.. And thats before the CS is even complete. This is quite frankly silly..

I do not believe they have to align with feats necessarily, but also because of notoriety. These are actually factually correct. And hey, I'm allowed to voice my opinion on something if I want. My constructive criticism would be to have her strength maybe be B and up her agility to A as that would probably fit better. Also, sorry if I offended you, but at the same time I didn't mean to.

We're all apart of the same thread here. We all want each other to be the best we can be. Miscommunication can be an issue, and I understand both sides, but we're all on the same team here guys. We're all in this together. No reason to go back and forth over an unfinished bio that neither GM has gotten a chance to go over. Opinions are just opinions. They aren't GM decisions or judgments.

Oh hey, of course you are entitled to your own opinion. You are more than welcome to have one. But there is a manner to how one can express such an opinion. To me it sounded like you were simply annoyed by my characters stats, because you did not like them. Anyhow, I'll see what I'll do with this CS. Like I said, I am also looking at other heroes thats under my consideration.

I understand this and I'm trying to be civil, but it seems I accidentally upset someone in doing so, which I apologized for.

Not so much annoyed, more so confused as they seemed a bit off. A simple explanation was all I was looking for, so sorry if I came off as otherwise. Glad we settled all of that!

@ERode & @cojemo
Thank you for the words. I'm somewhat unused to this format, been a little while for me since my last go but the concept tickled me so I figured I'd throw my hat in and see where it takes me. As far as concept goes, it took some braining and prodding at friends for ideas but I came up with something I feel confident in. I'll save the reveal for when I post the profile, but I'll say it's a figure in Central American history.

Ah, I'll throw it out in case you missed it, but there's the rule of pre-1900 Servants only.

You're probably fine, but history in that area is reasonably scarce to begin with, hence alarm bells.

I'm sure there's a lot of Meso-American heroes he can chose from. It's a pretty rich area in terms of folk heroes, fictional heroes, and real life legends. I can think of much more pre 1900, than after 1900.

I'm aware, don't worry. Like I said, it's probably fine. I just reasoned it was worth pointing out since there's a much narrower ratio than what you'd find in Europe or Asia, for instance.

Yeah, of course. But that's because Central America is a smaller region of North America, whereas Asia and Europe are continents. I was just putting it out there that the region itself has some pretty interesting figures that'd make badass berzerkers

Okay, finally got the Master done. I've built him with the whole "first arc villain" trope in mind, which would be hugely entertaining if it actually happened. As usual, probably needs a bunch of modifications, so shoot some holes, my dudes.

Name: Chain Argyle
Age: 121
Elemental Affinity: Variable - currently Air, although the specialisation this would normally allow in direction of energy is weakened due to it not being his "true" affinity.
Alignment: Variable - currently Chaotic Neutral
Origin: 「Evolution」

Magic Circuits
Number: Variable - presently D
Quality: Variable - average C+

Magecraft/Abilities
Chain can be considered as a "standard superhuman". At some point, he learned the Executors' technique of flooding his body with mana to surpass peak human capabilities. He claims he hasn't done it in years, speculating that his Magic Circuits probably degraded due to underuse of this technique. "I'll be using it a lot from now on, so it'll come back to me," so he reasons. Thanks to the intensity that his Mystic Code allows this ability, it is very easy to mistake him for something completely inhuman, and not without good reason; it's theoretically possible for him to match a mana-deficient Cavalry Servant such as a Caster or Assassin in terms of physical ability. He possesses minimal knowledge of conventional magecraft however, with only basic knowledge of elemental magecraft, shared perception, memory manipulation, and familiar contracts.

His truly bizarre existence stems from his awakened Origin, which has manifested a Reality Marble that has long since assimilated his entire body. Chain's very soul is one that forcibly adapts to his environment, warping his body and mind alike to take the quickest and most efficient path to "a person who will survive". He grows stronger and weaker, constantly in a state of flux, changing to whatever is suited to his environment, his very self being constantly rewritten to take the most direct path to survival. The changes are rapid, with it only taking around two weeks to become someone else completely if the circumstances force it, with his identity completely changing across "incarnations" lasting an average of five years. With this foundationless existence, it is possible to quickly become completely immune to a potential cause of death so long as he experiences it without killing him, but he can only be immune to one thing at a time due to the severity of overspecialisation that this forces upon him. He is an existence that is as close as a human can hope to get to a Phantasmal Species, but to speak honestly, he is, in reality, neither completely Phantasmal nor completely human. To call him a living Reality Marble would likely be the most accurate description possible for a human being, a creature that only thinks in categories, to coin.

Other Abilities
Chain is extremely good at withstanding mental and emotional trauma, having had to seal away even his own memories many times. Despite this, however, he is still knowledgeable in tools and weapons of all kinds, archaic and modern, though he's rather inept when it comes to electronics, which "aren't worth the trouble". He also has an eye for old artefacts, and is especially skilled at appraising magical items due to his present line of work.

Mystic Codes/Magical Items
Svipall, Contact Internalisation Amplifier-type Mystic Code. Built as a small crystal puzzle cube with a few missing segments, Chain carries it with him constantly, feeling naked without it. Its function is to take in mana in the atmosphere, converting it into prana at a super-high-speed rate and storing it for access at will, with the immunity this grants to large-scale area magecraft considered a "nice side bonus". It is not unlike the infamous jewelcraft of the Tohsaka clan, although compared to that magecraft that finds strength in numbers, Chain himself relies on a single gem of astounding quality.

He also holds various aged Mystic Codes and magical items that he is preparing to sell at any given time, though his lack of expertise in their application renders them largely useless to him. Not that he would risk using them anyway; he still has to eat after all, so he is hardly about to risk the destruction of his wares. Such is the folly of placing the Holy Grail War below his job.

He possesses three remaining Black Keys from his time as an Executor, and he is very careful about not losing them.

Weapons/Other Belongings
Despite how prepared he is for combat, Chain has no mundane weaponry to speak of, in part due to what is almost definitely overconfidence: he is aware that a spiritual being cannot be harmed with conventional weaponry, but he does not consider the possibility of a Master being a threat to be realistic.

Personality
"Meek". "No-nonsense". "Brutal". "Charismatic". "Vicious". Many words have been used to describe Chain Argyle over the years. His personality changes as constantly as his face, and even his speech patterns and mannerisms are difficult to pin down over his incarnations. As such, the easiest way to comprehend him as he is now is to take the most recent analysis of his person.

"Smug fuck".

Confident, arrogant, lacking in empathy, Chain takes the world around him and rules it. He has the laugh of a man who has never felt anything but untouchable, the grin of a sadist watching the slugs dissolve in their own salt. He takes delight in using his silver tongue to drive people to chase their own tails, but he is not one to tarry too long in laughter. Entertainment is just that, and work takes priority, whatever it may be, so he is not a person who will sit back and watch his tricks blossom into chaos.

But Chain is also old, and he does not care to hide it. He does not suffer fools gladly, and immaturity is enough of a flaw for him to dismiss a person outright. It is not that he sees the naive as stupid; he understands that a person can grow better than anyone, but until they have grown perspective and wisdom, they are but an unevolved monkey that he has no time to waste on.

He is not opposed to pain, but rather, he embraces it. Luxury has never made him anything except weaker, and so challenge and suffering are to him merely the beginning of a cycle that inevitably, invariably ends in him laying waste to that which is in his way. In all his incarnations, that is the only thing that did not change.

Short History
Please. I'll give everything I have. I just want to survive.

That is Chain Argyle's strongest memory, the only one that has not faded with time. His Origin awakened thanks to a near-death experience in 1929, when his Magic Circuits overloaded from strain and very nearly killed him. It was in fact that absurd quantity of prana flooding his body that allowed him to manifest a Reality Marble, and in this moment, he was closer to his Origin than ever before: he was willing to discard his entire person and change every detail so long as he would not die, and so his body and soul clung to this newborn Reality Marble. His Circuits multiplied, taking the strain, and so he survived, oblivious as to how and why.

It was around two years later he noticed that he was changing far more than a grown man had any right to. It was as if he was maturing all over again, adapting to the practice of magecraft in such a way that it was of no difficulty at all. As he travelled from place to place, from a professor at Clock Tower, to a freelance mercenary, to an Executor of the Church who fought alongside seven others to slay Stanrobe Calhin, to an Enforcer, to a member of the Kalion Observatory who was responsible for revoking fourteen Sealing Designations at once, to a thrall of a Dead Apostle Ancestor, to breaking free and lying low thanks to his Reality Marble, to even making eye contact with a certain silver-haired Counter Guardian in the Middle East and barely escaping alive, he began to adapt to every situation, changing not only his abilities, but his face and his personality as well. Each time, he took on a different name, forgetting his old one. "If you want to survive, then don't let your old identity slip" was the logic of his Reality Marble, and his memory is patchy at best because of it.

In truth, Chain Argyle is just his most recent name, his twenty-first face.

Since his Magic Circuits have never needed much use since they were reduced in his period of hiding from a certain "Demon Summoner", they have suffered substantial degradation in both number and purity. Presently, Chain's identity is that of a museum curator for the Louvre, appraising artefacts of significance to magi and selling them to various clients such as Clock Tower and Atlas, hoping to possibly find something among these curiosities to restore his lost powers. And in turn, his invitation to the Holy Grail War is most welcome as a challenge in which participants must outmatch one another or die.

Survival of the fittest if I ever saw it, eh?

God dammit. That dude doesn't deserve to get slotted into first arc villain q.q

You know as well as I do that he deserves everything he gets, even when he doesn't.

But that smile is clearly worth protecting. And amethyst eyes are like, going to be Shinobu's fetish.

Hi I dont know much about this franchise but I'm a decent writer and am good at learning new lore if you got a spot open.
