Moffat is better then russel
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ Doctor Who's opinion does not necessarily match my own~

Besides, I feel like he'd have sort of a love-hate relationship with Moffat, sometimes going on about the flaws and plotholes in his writing but other times swooning over everything there is to love about his episodes, characters, etc.

You know

sort of like

the fans.

Ok, well then, firstly, you might want to re-read the CS and make sure you change every instance of the name for clarity's sake (since I saw that you missed at least one spot).

Secondly, you do still need something for the appearance field. Even if you can't find an image, you'll at least have to use a verbal description. (If you do still want an image, though, you can try looking through the Tumblr archive that was linked on the first page. That way you can find something that is supposed to be based off of multiple characters, not just one.)

Also, are you sure you don't want to think through the CS again, and maybe add some things to it based on what I said? I don't know enough about Fire Emblem to say for sure, but a lot of the CS still seems like it's supposed to be based on a single character straight out of the canon. Particularly the "spends all his spare time reading" bit stands out to me, since that seems a bit odd for a video game fandom.

Not that I'm trying to be too controlling over what you want to incorporate into your character, mind you -- I just want to make sure we understand each other, as well as give you the opportunity to be a bit more creative with how you put your fandom together.

Shit... Yeah. I was kind of rushing due to a class that I have to go to.

I will fix it when I get back.

Oh, then please, take your time. I'd much rather wait to see a well-made CS then to have you rush something.

Personally, I always take days on my CS's, at least. XD Feel free to save a WIP version on your computer if you need to. Just take your time and have fun with it. You're more likely to make a character that you really enjoy playing that way.

I'm also trapped on my phone because the Internet has started being stupid again.

Expect the finished product tomorrow.

So I recently finished Hannibal (only season 1! but still, I've got a pretty good grasp on what the whole show's like because of it) and I'm torn on how to feel about it.

On one hand:
it's a dark and serious show dealing with Will Graham's deteriorating mental state at the hands of his friend and psychiatrist (and cannibal but no one knows at that point), Hannibal Lecter, through the manipulations of his (Will's) physical and emotional problems. And, hello, it's about murdering serial killers, so yeah, pretty dark I suppose.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND:
the whole audience knows Hannibal's a cannibal. Had they not seen Silence of the Lambs, they would still know Hannibal's a cannibal through the use of cannibalism cameos. And BECAUSE of this fact, it's hard not to laugh when Hannibal's dinner parties are shown. And then I consider the episode titles. They're French food/dining/etc. vocabulary. THE EPISODES ARE LITERALLY CALLED "CHEESE" AND "EGG." I won't even go the ridiculousness of having the police license plates be POLICE because I feel like that's an obvious shot to make.

i just don't know what to do with hannibal tbh

...Is it a bad thing that there are dark elements glazed with sheer ridiculousness?

Cuz like I feel like Hannibal's not alone in that regard.

I mean.

Just look at Homestuck, if you want just one example.

ALSO, WHILE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT TV SHOWS:

I would just like to take a moment to recommend Gravity Falls to everyone who is not yet watching it pretty much just because the most recent episode was filled with so many references to nerd culture (like going way beyond what you might expect when I say that) and it was probably the most hilarious episode of any TV show I've seen in recent memory because of that.

OH AND ALSO ALSO just you talking about Hannibal reminds me of all the Hannibal Fandomstuck posts I've seen on Tumblr and I'm glad that the Hannibal I can recall is indeed an accurate portrayal of the overall tone of the show as you've just described it.

Well I don't have them bookmarked and I came across them along time ago so YOU'RE WELCOME FOR ME HUNTING THEM DOWN JUST NOW.

Anywho the only specific posts I remember are this one and a whole series of posts called "Hannibal Fandom's Cooking Competition" which I couldn't find the first entry in because all the links to previous entries on the posts that I did find were broken so uh here's everything that showed up in the tag, I guess.

Other than that though all I remember is that there were a bunch of jokes about him wanting to eat people and/or other fandoms. I recall thinking that the actual show was probably more serious and that his fandom character was mostly based off of exaggeration but nope based on your description all that sounds pretty spot-on.

Those are supposed to be Ethers, or at least the Fandom's version thereof (don't think too much about what could actually be in those bottles). The other potion colors all restore health, but Ethers only restore mana/MP. I... don't think those will help Beatles a whole lot in this situation :P.
This a Mana Potion you are describing...

MANA POTIONS ARE BLUE!!! >:C
For now, I may run Fire Emblem, but may expand a bit to another fandom later.
I have an idea... :3

tumblr_md307nyU2v1r3jwtro1_500.gif

Sherlock is most like his titular character, but not quite as intelligent (while still being equally arrogant).
equally arrogant
I'm doing my Character justice it seems! :D

Seriously I'm loving RvB and Sherlock right now.
Now if only I could find a shtick with Clannad...
Shit... Yeah. I was kind of rushing due to a class that I have to go to.

I will fix it when I get back.
Being a Fire Emblem player I have some suggestions.
  • RNG crazy... I mean remember those growth rates. Actually we need to get this Fandom to a Casino pronto and watch the Carnage.
  • Obsessive over Waifu's *Cough*Awakening*Cough*
  • Changing classes all the damn time
  • Insistent that X Class is the best (General, Paladin, Mage, Dragon Rider, Dark Flier depends on the game).

because of you, hannibal and cannibal just don't look right anymore like the way words get when you say them too many times in a row.
Tee hee.

Actually, reading about your assessment of the show was making me think about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which I just finished reading last week and then--against my better judgement--watched the movie because I kind of wanted to do a comparison because while I'm still undecided as to whether or not I liked the book, the movie was awful, mostly because all depth that the characters were given in the book was cut out for time so even though it was a two-and-a-half-hour film it actually felt rushed because there was so little character development (and the producers did a really good job of dehumanizing Lisbeth Salander, and considering that she was the title character she did get a chance to change at all as a character, even though she did in the book).

I mean on the whole the book was really well written and had an excellent plot, it actually felt like two stories inside of each other and I really really enjoyed the character development that went on. I hated the ending though, and I don't feel like reading the sequels so I guess I'll just forever be dissatisfied.

Speaking of movies

I take back what I said about Fantasia 2000 not having the same grandness as the original.

Having rewatched them recently, I can say that they are both beautiful and brilliant movies.

I am the master of the segue today look at meeeee~

Just reposting it with some improvements:

Name: Fire Emblem

Gender: Male

Appearance: This, but male (Shorter hair), and with Robin's cloak over the armor:

tumblr_mhvnimbHV01r9wa8ro1_1280.png

Personality: Brave and Self-sacrificing. Fire Emblem is a brilliant strategist, and he can think quickly. He is quiet at first, but has a good sense of humor, and is talkative once he warms up to you. He's always willing to help, no matter the cost to himself. Gets very attached to people, despite all the death he has seen.

Abilities and Equipment:
The Fire Emblem,
Several Magical tomes,
He can see the stats of a threat stuff like what weapons they're using, their tactics, etc.

Home: His home is a small castle on the outskirts of the City. He spends a lot of time studying strategy, as well as training in combat. His house is almost completely covered in maps. Everything from ones he made, to Government only Spy Maps. It's also covered in various Chess and Checkerboards. He keeps it fairly clean besides that, though. It's also covered in various medieval weapons, and Fire Emblem related things. The only video games he owns are strategy games.

Quirks:
Straightens his robes at every chance when talking.
Always muttering about the proper strategy for combat.
speaks like he lives in Medieval times.
Obsessed with RNGs, and shipping
Changing classes all the damn time
Insistent that Frederick is the best. (Yes, i put this. I'm so sorry.)

Other: Well, I tried. Again

^^ Looks good to me.

And, lucky for you, we had another member join recently for whom I already typed up a sort of summary-ish thing for! (Don't know where he vanished to, though...)

At any rate, I'll add your character to the accepted list and then dig up that thing I wrote to tell you what's going on in the IC and who you can interact with.

Alright. Let me add Gwazi's suggestions, because I like them.

So the first thing I should point out is that there is currently an outbreak of Trickster Mode affecting a number of fandoms. You've implied that you're a Homestuck fan so I'm assuming you know what Trickster Mode is, but, since a lot of specifics about Trickster Mode were never explained very well in Homestuck canon, I've had to make up some of my own rules in order to adapt it for RP purposes. There's a tab on the OP where you can read up on how Trickster Mode works here, if you haven't already.

Anywho, I don't think it's necessary to give you a run-down of everything that's happened since the start of the RP, since I feel like most of it isn't completely relevant to what's going on now. So, I'm just going to briefly explain what each group of characters is doing and a bit of info on how they got there so that you can join in. (Also bolded some names here and there to make it easier to find everyone's current status if you find yourself coming back to this post for reference.)

First we have Final Fantasy, whose airship crashed due to the sudden appearance of a triceratops through a portal that led from the ship to a point on the ground. Just before the ship crashed, though, FF and the triceratops managed to survive when they fell through the portal again. Final Fantasy — now somewhere on the ground — was then found by Dragon Age and Trickster FMA. FF is now trying to "cure" FMA of Trickster Mode by attacking him, but that's a bit difficult due to FF's minor injuries. Also, the triceratops is apparently "at large" and must've wandered off someplace else.

Meanwhile, we have Doctor Who, Sherlock, Megaman, and Hetalia all inside the TARDIS, along with the unconscious Beatles and Touhou, who were injured due to earlier shenanigans. The group was on board FF's ship just before the crash, and so FF is believed to be dead, with DW blaming himself for it.

Elsewhere, Hunger Games, Homestuck, Night Vale, and "Triguniverse" (a 12ft fall, four-armed fusion of Trigun and Steven Universe), along with Night Vale's Strexcorp helicopter, are all safely inside a protective bubble that Triguniverse made to save them all from a group of Tricksters that had descended on them. Inside that bubble, Triguniverse is currently healing Homestuck, whose eye was brutally maimed by Hunger Games earlier when Homestuck was still a Trickster.

Outside that bubble we have Clannad, Deadpool, and Avengers — all Tricksters — going about their merry Trickster day as Deadpool and Avengers have just decided to get married, with Clannad as their minister.

A short while ago, Jurassic Park and Jurassic World had a bit of trouble when some of World's dinos got out, but that's since been mostly managed — what with Park having shot down a few allosaurs and a T-Rex with tranquilizers, and Triguniverse having helped World and her raptors herd what was previously a stampede of herbivores, and saving a small group of fandoms who would've otherwise been trampled in the process. Jurassic World is currently leading the herd back to her place (while Triguniverse stayed with the group she'd saved and eventually encapsulated them all in the aforementioned bubble).

Red vs Blue — a notorious wild card at this point who is known for stirring up chaos at every opportunity — had, for a brief while, attempted to ride the T-Rex that got out, but really only managed to annoy the creature before Jurassic Park showed up with the tranquilizer and then started to drive off in his jeep. RvB, being so impressed with this "weapon of mass destruction", decided to chase after JP in a vehicle of his own in an attempt to claim the thing for himself.

As for other free characters: Attack on Titan is probably still lying unconscious on the ground somewhere, and Fifa… currently hasn't been re-introduced since his owner returned from hiatus, but you can contact @Rithas if you want to figure out some way of having your characters interact. Similarly, you can also contact @Cephalo about A Very Potter Musicals, who hasn't been introduced at all yet but I believe Ceph is still looking for a good opportunity to do so.

Any character on the accepted list that I didn't mention is played by someone who is currently on hiatus and therefore is probably best left unmentioned. This should still cover anyone else you might want to interact with, though.
I found the post.

Only other things I should note are that A) I don't know if you're familiar with Homestuck or know what Trickster Mode is, so, I would definitely recommend giving that tab a read when you get the chance.

And B) another option for interaction would be Kilt Man's fandom, Project Zero, when/if he turns up again to plan this sort of thing with him.
