"I appreciate the attentiveness but more than sufficient precautions were taken to assure that an event caused here by the arrancar would lead to a swift execution with no casualties. That is why we have multiple levels of restraints and why I conducted the demonstration personally. Since the matter was of concern to you, I'll have a report sent to your office detailing the countermeasures we had in place so you can review them and input as needed," Renzo said, addressing Sakoto's concerns. He believed that they had taken every reasonable precaution short of setting up an encased area but choosing to do things like this had too been purposeful. He wanted to account for an ability that could be used against them all then and there, giving the arrancar the opportunity to attempt such in a situation where they were most prepared rather than when they might not be. The doubt was more than understandable but as things were, the matter was finished and the arrancar's weapon was safely in the hands of his lieutenant. The situation was a messy one and the captains fairly divided on options, most seemingly disinterested or self absorbed. However, they did need to make a formal decision on the matter. He wasn't particularly keen on allowing the arrancar her weapon or to learn too much about them right now. At the same time, he understood Oka's sentiment well enough. He wasn't much for being a humanitarian but if understood one thing from the battlefield. A cornered rat would bite. He'd made matters clear about executing the arrancar if things went south in the demonstration but it had turned out just fine which meant they actually had to figure out what to do with her. And ultimately, that meant just making the call right there.

"We will have the arrancar given limited freedom of movement under sekisekki bindings. Her weapon will be retained with us. We will assign someone to oversee her tomorrow. 3rd seat Callahan, could you escort her to the 12th division?" he said, motioning for his lieutenant to release the bindings that held Kayano in place but left the collar where it was. Holly stiffened up slightly, understanding somewhat that he was being respectfully removed from the room. He wasn't sure exactly what the captain commander's stance on all of this was but one thing was clear. He wasn't needed for whatever was following. Likely he also wanted the arrancar away from it too. With a quick "Yes Sir", he led Kayano from the room. Once Holly was gone, Renzo turned to Heizo. The matter with Captain Furenji and Captain Oda was a bit more delicate and something that needed to be dealt with immediately. He was actually much more concerned about the former than the latter. A somewhat reckless Kenpachi was a relatively normal phrase in his time that he'd been used to hearing. There certainly was more than a minimum of damage. Being incapacitated in combat was something he couldn't be fully blamed for either. However, he wasn't terribly far outside his bounds aside perhaps his choice of words and behavior here, again something that Kenpachis were not well known for barring being manually put in place. However, that was not the real issue at hand. Captain Furenji, on the other hand, from what had been seen, had endangered himself and those around him in a voluntary sense because he'd simply lost his cool and sense of reason. This matter was relatively different.

"I propose that Captain Furenji be placed on a 2 week suspension from his duties. His division should manage to handle itself in his absence. He will use this time to reflect and show greater composure in combat. Know that a following failure will be handled much more sternly. I also propose that Captain Oda be educated in proper prudence and restraint in battle so that he might pay greater concern to his surroundings and that Captain Ozaki oversee this," Renzo said after a pause, scanning the captains that remained present. This was more of a formality than an actual proposition as were many things at these meetings. This proposition was made with their current situation in mind. The time to leisurely dole out penalties and hope that they have the desired effect wasn't now. More than that, he wanted to gear these reprimandings towards their personal betterment for the conflict that they knew was coming in short order. Heizo was likely an ideal choice for this and he felt that this arrangement would benefit both of them.

HUECO MUNDO
The leader of the Espada kept his eyes on Guerra as he continued, completely ignoring the blabbering from No Juro. A smile crept beneath his mask, as his fingers were slightly drumming on the supporters of the chair. "With your strength Guerra. I'm sure you'll be able to kick the hornets nest down. Wouldn't you say so? Or do you not believe in the capabilities you've inherited. Or is it that you dont believe that the Arrancar around you, in this room, are capable of fighting the Shinigami?"

The Jōkyaku did not stop there. He did not even give the Primera a chance to talk back. "Does anyone here actually feel that they cannot fight against the Shinigami?" Vaham stood up from his chair, glancing at each and everyone in the room. "Does anyone else here share the same concern as Guerra?"

"Or do you all intend on living out your days here in the desolate sands, and wait for them to pay us a visit. Like they've done several times in the past." Having said that, he gave Alexander a look. Vaham knew exactly what was going through these Arrancars mind. Some held doubt, some were trusting, while some did not care.

Looking over at Guerra again, he needed to bring something else to the table. "If you all feel that I'm not the right person to lead you towards the Utopia we deserve, then remove me from my position. Take back what you think I've taken."

"But know this. Everything I've done up until now, was for Hueco Mundo. Why I was in Soul Society, was to ensure you were all doing what was told. Not just find a tree and sit under it. Wait for the enemy to come to you. If you truly wanted to leave a mark Guerra, that is not the way to do it. It is foolish. You showed your strength. Some of you showed what you were capable of doing. And during your short moment in Soul Society, you were able to do considerable amount of damage."

Vaham glanced over at Illea. "If there is nothing more to say, then you're all dismissed. If you still have concerns, or doubt, then now is the time to share it or take action."

Setting her feet down on the ground, Kha Reau stood up and pushed her chair in, standing motionless behind it. There were many things on her mind, but more than anything she was feeling incredibly antsy. The meeting had left her hungry, lusting for her next kill. Looking around at the other Espada, she could read their different expressions like an open book. Finally, she spoke.

"It is understandable that we are all feeling different ways. Yet, I have not forgotten who brought us together; the one who put us in these positions of power. All I have, I owe to Lord Vaham." Turning towards their leader, she bowed deeply before continuing. "As such, I will fight for you, Lord Vaham..until the very end." Without another word, she headed towards the door...

Guerra
Interaction: Vaham
-
"I have never accused you of doing anything other then the very best for us Vaham I also am not so arrogant as to think I would be able to take that seat from you by force, I would give myself optimistically an eight percent chance if I made a move against you at full power and their is also the fact that I doubt all of my fellow Espada would take kindly to any action like that." Guerra was sitting as his leader stood, speaking. "Also if I didn't believe in my abilities to fight our enemies then my hands wouldn't be stained with their blood and I wouldn't of taken on multiple captains during our incursion. Do not question my resolve in this Vaham, all is for our greater good I just prefer...a slower approach as it is so much more satisfying to watch everything they worked so hard to accomplish crash around them before you slide in the blade, it makes their despair so much sweeter." He spoke as his blade rested on his lap, he had attended this meeting to listen then speak with Vaham afterwards not be center point of the whole damn thing but it seemed that wasn't to be.
-

Their were no more words for Guerra to speak as he turned inwards to his own mind, it was times like this that he wondered if joining the Espada was ever a good idea for him or if staying a roaming hollow in the desert would of been better. He wished his were able to fall asleep and forget about all of this, from Vaham's war to the other Espada and their varying degrees of animosity for each other. He stood and gave Vaham a slight bow of his head before turning on his heel and leaving the room.

Considering all that was said, she can't help to suppress the laughter threatening to boil over. This was all simply too rich.. And the Claims of bringing them to Utopia? For all the hate or down looking the Arrancar and shinigami had for the humans, they all danced to the tune of men who rode atop white horses. She almost wanted to shout, For Glory! Just to be part of the crowd.

In anycase the Soul Society was barely a place of Utopia in her eyes. It was a step up from this desert, but it was backwards and stagnant. It wasn't that she was against Vaham, to the Contrary, while she was no Zealot, she had practical reasons to support him. But protecting and supporting didn't mean she was his lap dog, or a tool to be used as he willed. At least that was her thoughts on it. Ultimately he was a riddle to be solved perhaps. Keeping her conclusions and deductions to herself, a smile creeps across the Segunda's face. Guerra seemed to have done a 180 on his previous opinions, or otherwise was lying she suspected. If he wanted her to do things, there was a much more simple way than words that the others cared to hear.

Rising to her feet with a hum, this had proved boring after all.

"Au revoir." Unlike her typical demeanor this voiced seemed..less whimsical and more authoritarian in nature. The meeting was over and so was her reason for being here. Perhaps a walk through the Fortress Corridors.

(Just short post here to move myself ahead. Will post with the Captain when things are wrapping up or after one reply I was expecting.)

Illea Sirani

Illea sat through the meeting in a morbid silence at the meeting. Even the occasional praises she got from her master seemed overshadowed. She was glad she had followed orders, that she had made him happy, but she was horrified at the scene before her.

Illea had hoped encouraging Guerra to speak would stop a fight with him and Vaham, but it only served to make him the target of all the Espada. His words echoed hollow in her head.
"I will hold this group together if that's what it takes. If we Espada survive what ever his plan is then I, Guerra of the Espada swear to you Illea that I will hold this group together if it comes to it. I swear this on my own blood Illea."
An unkeepable promise. It only proved to serve her point, only Vaham was capable of holding the Espada together. They had to be useful to him, if not... all the Espada were too weak to keep it together. Illea for the first time cursed her weakness. Normally weakness was fine, it was all she believed in, but now?

Illea now had a goal, one she didn't want. She looked disgusted down to her tattoo. It was going to have to change.

When Xenethis was assaulted by Vaham as reprimand, Illea briefly flashed a smile, before hiding it. Maybe they were her friends, but only as long as they were that far below Vaham. And the meeting ended, the happiest news Illea had all day.

Illea however didn't move. She waited as several of the Espada left, mostly Primera and Segunda before she approached Lider.

"Lider Vaham.... i-if I may, I have a request. I want to be a sharp sword. I drew against one such balancer, and I'm at a disadvantage when we fight again. I know you have more power than what you've shown. How can I be str-str... less weak? How can I be more useful to you?"

She couldn't bring herself t5o say the word 'strong'. It was against her very aspect. Illea also didn't noticed the word 'when we fight'. Now it had become a certainty. She would fight him, and she would defeat him.

Alexander Cirillo Las Noches - Espada Meeting Room

As expected, a cocky remark from Xenethis made its way to the table. If he was tired of him, there wouldn't be a trace of him left? Really? Alexander knew that was bullshit. The rest of the Espada knew that was bullshit and Vaham likely knew as well. Xenethis wasn't the type to still his blade or hold his tongue—Hell, he was doing nothing but spitting out childish threats that weren't helping currently. If something aggravated the cuatro, there were only so many reasons as to why he would not have gotten rid of it. Actually, with Xenethis, there was only really one; he wouldn't bother if he wasn't absolutely sure he could win. The seats of four and six aren't that far away, not to mention that but Alexander is the youngest of them all, yet still more powerful than almost half. The Cuatro couldn't hold that much more power than he, and if he did, he wouldn't for very long.

Regardless, before Cirillo could voice a retort, Vaham swiftly silenced the Espada with an insulting backhand. Xenethis still blocked it, but you could tell the strike hurt. This display caused Alexander's eyes to widen in surprise slightly. He didn't think very highly of Xenethis, but he knew the arrancar was no weakling. To see him get smacked like that was—well, it was a breaking of his character, and likely his pride too. Still, it got the meeting back on track. Tensions were still high though, at least among the Espada that gave a damn about more than a battle or some other trivial act. Some of his kin were simply ruled too much by their Id rather than thinking ahead and past immediate desires.

"I concur with Guerra in that I wouldn't put it past them to assault us... especially if most are as vile as you say, Lord Vaham," Alexander commented, though in all honesty it appeared as though not even Guerra was keeping a cool head at the moment, speaking of savoring destruction and anguish. That was the Sexta's goal; he didn't seek hopelessness sorrow. He acquired plenty in life, he sought to avoid such things with his new-found power.

Standing up, Alexander sighed. "I will follow you, at least for now, Lord Vaham. I understand your feelings; especially if you witnessed the destruction of those prior to us... I too, however, have witnessed the genocide induced by a tyrant's will, and I do not wish to mimic that, but to avoid it. If I must fight the Shinigami to teach them their place and preserve my kin, so be it. However, I will not bathe in their anguish." Spinning on a heel, the Sexta took his leave from the meeting room.

More or less, Alexander was stating that his wishes far differentiated from Xenethis' and Guerra's even, though without proper knowledge regarding how Shinigami actually were, he would likely be far more susceptible to combating them, good reason given or not.

Natsuko Sunemizuki Seireitei - Captain's Meeting Hall

So many arguments and annoyances occurring. Natsuko herself was becoming rather aggravated, though not to what any of what was being said or how any particular captain behaved—Well, except for a certain animal-eared captain that couldn't seem to help voicing her inner thoughts that should be kept secret. First ripping apart her bandages, and now this. Likely the other Captain's knew of her situation, but still, they didn't need to know of the dog's damn plot to score her a husband, even more so without her knowledge! Not to mention that this was hardly the place for that kind of outburst.

"Inu! Were you raised in a cave?!" Natsuko questioned with a tick mark showing over her bindings. The usually tired-sounding Captain actually raised her voice and adopted a tone of slight anger for once.

Sighing, the bound noble pinched the bridge of her nose at this entire situation. Couldn't this meeting of Captains have been underwent more professionally? Natsuko's inner anguish was interrupted when Oda had mentioned her name, thanking her for "pissing him off" the least, then walking out with a few other words to some of the other individuals in the room. Then there was the matter on the arrancar. Natsuko had mixed feelings regarding the strange Hollow, but Oka's thoughts on the matter posed an interesting aspect about them. They weren't quite Hollows, yet the manners in which some fought, not to mention their reiatsu's, was in some ways similar to a Shinigami. If one were to assume their zanpakuto's were almost entirely similar to the Shinigamis' own, then the withholding of the woman's zanpakuto would prove as decent restraint for her. Of course, she was still dangerous, but with sekkiseki bindings and observation, she could be detained once more should she try anything—in theory. Now, if this girl were somehow the most powerful out of all the adversaries that attacked, then decided to stay for some kind of inside attack, that was a different story. However, it was very unlikely that the arrancar was even anywhere close to the Espada she had fought. It wasn't a bad sentence, though rather than thinking of it morally, such as Oka, Natsuko was thinking entirely through a logical perspective; morals for them when out the window when Squad 11's barracks was massacred.

After that came the proposels of punishment; complete formalities. Not to mention they were rather pointless. These new beings show themselves and assault the Soul Society, not to mention prove they have such power—there simply was not time to go around lecturing the Captains. Yes, the Squad 2 Captain got too rash and yes, Kenpachi could use work in learning to not just walk out of a meeting, however, this was simply not the time. Then again, it seemed as though Renzo agreed somewhat from the rather light sentencing. 2 weeks? That wouldn't be all that much even for a mortal, let alone spirits that live through centuries.

Stepping into the halls of Las Noches, Kha Reau's footsteps echoed through the long corridors. The meeting had been long, and she was hungry. She blinked, and for a split second her reiatsu spiked. Kneeling before her now were three of her speed scouts, waiting for instructions.

"Go now. I hunger for something more...something stronger..."

In a flicker, the scouts were gone, off to find the Octava's next prey. Closing her eyes, the Espada stood motionless, waiting for her clones to return....

Oka Ogasawara Soul Society
~~~
Looking rather prideful with hands on her hips, Oka seems to beam with pride, wagging her tail as she did so. Ignorant of the fact her next statement while impressive wasn't much better than living in a cave. "Ha! A Cave? I'm not some dumb Animal! I Grew up by myself in the woods!"
Taking a more normal stance as if oblivious to the fact she was poorly raised, Oka heads over to Natsuko, grabbing her in a shoulder hug, leaning down so her own head matches should to shoulder. "Don't worry! I have a sure fire husband for you! You won't have to be a mummy anymore..I have just the person in mind..though getting him to agree will be on you." She says in a hushed whisper.
Standing to here feet with a slight cough she knew enough to not elaborate on it here and now, or so it seemed. In part it was as she didn't want Natsuko chasing her down about it, which likely would happen regardless, but also as they still had this issue to deal with after all. While she didn't agree with the punishments, there was no point disputing it, and she for her part wasn't being given any duties. Not that she would mind. However in spite of how it seemed, the 10th was already memorizing the list as best as she could. Reading it carefully now, scanning for key points or possible clues..while she rather doubted the Captain Commander would give her much say, and that the other Captains would follow any thing other than suggestions, battle plans needed to be formed.
More so if the worst came to pass. Though for now there was no need to worry. Or was there. Regardless she had nothing else to add to this meeting nor did she have to deal with the training or punishment of either. Heizo would have his work cutout for him. And she didn't envy him in the least.
With the meeting basically over. Despite some doubt that lingered throughout the Espada's, all Vaham did was sit back and wait. No one challenged him, which was somewhat disappointing. For now, Alexander, the Sexta was someone he'd work on, to shape him into the perfect puppet for him. 'For now? You will follow me until I say so, my dear Alexander..' He thought to himself, smirking at the same time. As for the Segunda, her reaction, was not surprising, nor was there much for her to say.
Yet, the Jōkyaku could see her expression, obviously there was something she wanted to share, or talk about, or find out about, but all in due time. All would be revealed eventually. Who Vaham really is, and what he is. Standing up from his chair, his attention moved over to Guerra. "Well then. The next time you do face the enemy, do not wait around. And keep the rest of the Espada in line.. Primera." Taking a few steps forward, as the room was becoming emptier by the second. He noticed the glare Xenethis made towards him, before the Arrancar turned away and left the premises.
'Yes.. That rage, that anger, is exactly what I need for whats to come..' He thought to himself, as his yellow eyes squinted beneath the mask. Eventually, Illea approached him. The one Arrancar that trusted Vaham blindly. The leader of the Espada even had some sort of a soft spot for this little one. Her question, her resolve, she wanted do to more. A smile crept on his face before he gave her a simple answer.
Placing his hand on her head, in a petting manner, he began talking. "Power only attracts the worst.. And corrupts the best, Illea. Don't forget that."
"Besides, you've already been useful enough.. And I'm sure you'll continue to be so. It makes me proud to have someone like you amongst us."
"Do not let your weakness control you. Control it instead.... Make it your strength." Having said that, a cup manifested in his empty hand. Moving his other arm close to his mouth, or more specifically, his wrist, he bit it, as blood started to drop. Taking the cup, he placed it just below his wrist, so it could collect his blood. After a moment or two, once the cup was barely half full, his wounds healed, and the blood stopped flowing.
"Drink this, and it will help you when you need it the most. My dear Arrancar." He could see the confused expressioin on Illea's face, but instead just smiled as she took an hold of the cup. Walking past her, he vanished eventually from the place.
Time passed and now.. A new day had arrived in Hueco Mundo.
THE NEXT DAY
Illea Sirani
Illea sat on her bed, grasping her doll firmly in a hug.
"I want to be stronger... I want everyone to stay friends...I'd become the chain in an instant if I could..."
Longingly, she looked up at the cieling.
"I can't eat Menos's. That blood Líder Vaham gave me must be special, I don't want to dilute it. Firing ceros into the desert doesn't sound productive....That, and I can't raise my Reiatsu too high while I'm adjusting to this new disease. There has to be something I can do to stay friends with everyone!"
Illea's fear was eating at her, doing more harm than good. She talked of not wanting to lose friends, yet there she was, alone in her room, fretting about it.
The hours ticked by as she thought, and thought, finally coming to a realization.
"Vaham keeps the Espada together, but there's a reason everyone came. I'm lonely. I think Guerra lost something... why did everyone else come? Hey! I have it!"
With a girlish bounce, Illea jumped off her bed, rushing past her, as normal terrified facciónes, and out into the desert. Scanning around, she tried to find the nearest throne of an Espada.
Sitting out on the desert floor, Kha Reau was silent, meditating. She was focusing, opening her senses and waiting for one of her scouts to return. She had sent them out the previous day, and they had only found weak Hollows, unworthy of her time. Now she was starving.
After sitting a bit longer, she grew irritated and antsy. In a flash, she was gone, speeding down the sand dunes of Hueco Mundo, hunting. As she traveled, her thoughts went back the previous day. She hoped that Lord Vaham would involve her in whatever plans he had coming up, because she desperately needed a challenge. And soon. Otherwise, who knew what she might end up doing...
Natsuko Sunemizuki Seireitei - Captain's Hall
"...That does not deserve as much pride as you seem to think it warrants, Inu..." Natsuko replied in a deadpan to Oka's retort.
Narrowing her eyes as the animalistic Captain approaches her, then capturing her in a shoulder-to-shoulder hug, the mummy as she's called seems to be scowling, with her eyes anyway. It wasn't so much that Natsuko disliked physical contact. Rather, she often tolerated it, few times as she experienced it. Even Kenpachi's tendency to use her as an arm rest due to their height difference didn't irk her so much—What annoyed her was the fact that Oka had not much sense of place. This was a meeting of Captains; there was to be no hugging and definitely no conversation about her love life, or lack thereof. At least when she mentioned having an idea, it was whispered and not outburst.
Sighing, Natsuko relinquished herself to the mutt Captain's whimsicality; it would be something she would deal with for many days to come. Hopefully it wouldn't give her any gray hairs, Natsuko needed everything she had going for her.
Regardless, Squad 5's Captain remained silent for the most part. She had already voiced the dangers she encountered with these Arrancar and her opinions on the matter. The verdict had already been ruled regarding their captive's sentence. Yet what would they do in response to the transgressions themselves?
Alexander Cirillo Hueco Mundo - Top of Pillar
It had been a day since the meeting. Most of the Espada had scattered and once again began doing their own thing. On his way to his current placement, the top of one of the many stone pillars in Hueco Mundo, he sensed the Octava moving around. She was likely hunting for a challenge, something Xenethis would as well would be doing if he wasn't more likely to be licking his wounds after that backhand from Vaham. Alexander agreed that he probably shouldn't have enjoyed seeing that happen as much as he did. Truthfully, he didn't wish to see Xenethis suffer or perish; the man just needed to shut his mouth sometimes. That, and relax with the bloodlust; it was still something the Sexta didn't quite understand of his more battle-thirsty kin.
Regardless, Alexander too thought it was best to leave the presence of the others. He was still very conflicted about this entire thing, but he had made his decision; he would not sink to the Shinigami's level, but he would halt them in their warpath should they seek retribution on his kin. And if Vaham's words rang true, they wouldn't take the assault on their home lying down. As such, Alexander was currently practicing his swordsmanship where he was. If anything set him apart from the other Espada, aside from his personality and outlook, it was this. His style was more elegant and practiced, as opposed to the others that for the most part adopted a more—harsher way of performing. They sought to cleave or wound whereas his aimed to strike at vitals and end things quickly. Still, it wasn't his melee ability that needed work so much as his otherworldly powers; his hiero, at least in his resurrection rivaled the strongest of the Espada, however he still had much to learn in regards to his other abilities. This activity was honestly more of a distraction from his thoughts and habit of second-guessing than anything.
Having spent multiple hours hunting on the sands of Hueco Mundo, Kha returned to Las Noches, satisfied for the time being. She had slain a decent amount of Adjuchas, and it had been quite pleasing. There was something about cutting them down that she found greatly fulfilling. Maybe it was knowing that she was far more powerful than they, or that she had just erased any chance of them ever getting anywhere near her level of power. Either way, nothing was quite as satisfying as ending the day with their fear ingrained in her mind, and their blood coated on her hands. It was what she lived for.
As the Octava made her way down the empty halls of the castle, she made a couple quick turns, heading towards her room. While many of the Espada had their own castles or large areas dedicated to them, the Octava had a small, empty room in the main castle which she occupied when she was not on a mission for Lord Vaham or out hunting. Apart from a small, bamboo rug in the center of the floor, the only other notable item in the room was the large kanji character for "Eight" painted on the wall. The rest of the room was pure white, yet blanketed in darkness due to the lack of light.
As Kha entered the room, she sat down on her mat, crossing her legs as she positioned herself facing the doorway, her symbol directly above her on the wall. Closing her eyes, she began to rest, preparing herself for whatever might happen next.
"I will ensure Captain Oda is disciplined." Heizo said firmly as he light bowed to the Captain Commander. The suggestion while not one he had expected wasn't one he disproved of. If punishment will not suffice then training is an equal alternative. he thought. Knowing the room would be supportive of the proposal or overall neutral, there was nothing more for him to say. Tucking the arancarr report away in his Shihakushō he made that fact know by returning to his spot on the end row.
As the meeting came to a finish around him his mind was elsewhere thinking of how he would go about training two captains and a lieutenant simultaneously. Crossing his arms as was habit for him when thinking on a problem. Heizo stared at the empty space across from him next to Captain Kurenai while his mind mused. Zion will be simple enough with Lieutenant Veritahl's help. How will I train her? Seighardt won't be willing to learn so I'll have to motivate him. The only way to do that is... Once he's motivated I'll have to teach him by using...
[fieldbox=No Juro, maroon]No Juro let out a large yawn, arms stretching up and over his head as eyes cracked open to see the rays of sunlight creeping through the slits of the covered windows. "What time is it...not like it really matters." Juro slowly sat himself up, his floor covered in large white pillows, the entire floor actually. He didn't need a bed, just all these comfy pillows and he could just sleep for hours, if not days. Being the tenth Espada was easy for Juro, he had to virtually do nothing ever because everyone else 'stronger' than him stroked and boasted their egos and did all the heavy lifting for him. So he could just watch and act like they are all so mighty and superior to him and they would continue to ignore him and that would allow him to continue sleeping.
Standing up on the pillows, he walked slowly to the door before opening it and stepping out where his sandals were. He didn't wear footwear inside the room because the pillows were all white, and dirtying them up would require effort of cleaning.
The meeting yesterday was something else, and Juro wanted more than just words to happen. He tried to incite some violence from Guerra and Xenethis, possibly even Vaham but all there was...was Xenethis being put back into his 'place' by Vaham.
Rubbing his eyes, he walked through the halls until he arrived at the bathes. There were several, and dividers and blah blah. He was here yesterday, but did not bathe. Sliding one of the dividers open he entered and undressed before dipping into the water and letting his mind drift, eyes closing as he relaxed.
[fieldbox=Kon Benkei, royalblue]Captain Furenji was basically suspended for two weeks of Captain Duty, and Captain Oda was needed to be 'educated' as it was put for his actions during the invasion. While Kon understood the Captain Commanders decisions, Kon didn't know how well the Two Captains would take to the Orders. If this might possibly weaken the Gotei 13 and leave them open for another Invasion.
Kon sat behind his Captain's Desk, papers sprawled out in front of him. His job was Internal Affairs, dealing with Shinigami that are breaking the rules/laws and conducting investigations, reporting, etc. With this recent invasion, his mind wasn't on his Job but instead on ideas of how to better protect the people and the Soul Society as a whole.
It was also Kon's Birthday today, and only a few people remembered or knew about it. He didn't like making a big deal out of turning 300, and it didn't seem like it should be a big deal anyways. Turning 300 today wasn't going to change the fact some Captains looked down at him as a child still and too young.
Leaning back in his chair, he set down the pen in his hand to look up at the ceiling. "I think that is enough paper work for the day. I should go home, Jati can handle the rest for today." His Lieutenant could handle the rest of the paperwork and possibly occurrences that may show up in the Barracks.
Standing up from his chair, he grabbed his Captain's Haori off the back of his chair and walked out of the office, leaving a note for his Lieutenant to know his whereabouts and that he was done for the day.[/fieldbox]
The 6th Division Barracks- Soul Society
A large, dimly lit courtroom, surrounded with books covered in dust; this was the office of the 6th Division's Captain, Rai Denzen. The room was silent, and a small lantern hung in the far back corner of the room, shedding light on a large, shadowy figure sprawled out comfortably across an old armchair.
"Hmmm...hm...So that's how that works...who would've thought...."
Mumbling to himself as he read, Captain Denzen was buried in the pages of his favorite book, Expert Baking For Dummies: The Ten Minute Edition. Over the past couple months, he'd read the book front and back countless times and yet despite his best efforts, still could not successfully bake anything remotely edible. Convinced he was simply missing something, he had spent all his free time reading, trying to find the solution for his dilemma. Unfortunately, before he could get in any real practice, He had been sent away on a mission to investigate some minor incidents in the World of the Living that had turned out to be completely irrelevant. However, when he returned, much had changed. The atmosphere was clearly different, and he had to talk to his men to find out what had happened. The attack, the new threat called the Espada, talk of a captured prisoner; he had missed a lot in the short time he had been gone, and now he needed to catch up with the latest events if he was to be of any help to the rest of the Gotei 13.
After reading a bit more, Rai sat up, closing his book and setting it on a large pile of manuscripts he had been meaning to complete. Standing up, he reached for his zanpakuto, dusting it off as he slung it around his waist. As he opened the front door, the brightness blinded him momentarily, causing him to squint and turn away to let his eyes adjust. As he did, he noticed one of his men approach him.
"Captain Denzen, it is good to see you have returned," the man bowed, joining Rai midstride. "Much has changed, as I'm sure you know..." he paused, trying to think of the best way to form his question. "With all that has happened...what will you do?"
"I imagine the other Captains have already started making plans. Hopefully they're working together in this matter," he sighed to himself, walking down the footpath out of the courtyard. Just like any group of eclectic people, the Gotei 13 captains were not exempt from butting heads every now and then. He hoped with a situation such as this, they had at least found some way to mesh. "Either way," he continued, "I must speak to them about all this. I can't imagine they'll take too well to my absence, but it was necessary. I only hope they have formed some plan of action.."
Having satisfied his man with an acceptable answer, Denzen left the man to his own affairs and hurriedly headed towards the Captain's Hall, his white cloak billowing in the wind....
Jati Ishlan
Jati had chosen to remain silent through most of the meeting and read the report he had received. It wasn't because he was too timid to speak out it was because there wasn't nothing to say that someone already hadn't brought up. One thing that came up during the meeting had Jati feeling somewhat conflicted. He had never been a person to jump to violence but with the lost of so many lives he couldn't think of seeking peace with these Arrancars. He hated to admit it but he wanted to annihilate them and put a end to them, They where just hollows at the in of day. They had attacked them in the first place and that can't go unpunished, Retaliation was necessary. Holly did make a valid point about how not all Arrancars aren't evil but the Arrancar he speaks of is still on the side of our attackers. If it came down to it he would side with his kind...Wouldn't he?
One thing that bugged Jati during there meeting was the way some Captains conducted themselves. It had him wondering how they got there Captains recommendations. If it is only took mastering Bankai to become a Captain then made his question who in this hall was truly fit for there title. He admired Oda for his immense power and how he rushed to defense of the Seireitei but he come across as just a brute. There was still much for Jati to learn, He was still a young compared to many others in this hall. After the conclusion of the meeting Jati went to go speak with his captain about the meeting itself. Jati walked into his Captains offiice only to find papers scattered on his desk and that he was no where in sight. Jati assumed he went to go to the bathroom but then he noticed Captain Benkei's note. Jati picked up said note and read it, On completion of the not a sigh of disappointment left his mouth. "He doing it Again,Dumping his work on me. I haven't even finished my own work and now this. I won't finish till it's dinner time." Jati started to gather up the papers on the desk and had them in a neat stack. "Well no point in complaining and wasting time, Better get this done quick as possible." He picked up the stack of paper and left his Captain's office for his own. Once he arrived he wasted no time getting to work. He was speed reading ever paper and sighing them as fast as he could. He was careful not to make a mistake which was unlikely to happen. He had keen eyes and hadn't made a mistake since his days as a Third Seat.
[fieldbox=Kisame Hokuda | Arrancar Ten, olive]Kisame stood in the entrance of Kha Reau's room. His arms folded and back against the doorframe as the Eight Espada meditated in the middle of the room. Kisame wasn't the tallest male, only standing at 5'9", and his physique wasn't rifled with muscle, but he was in a fine shape. His broken hollow mask was that of a shark's jaw, but only the bottom portion around his neck like a necklace. Kisame was not a Fraccion, or had ever been inside of the main castle, but he had found Kha easily enough. He had what appeared to be 'gills' higher up on his cheeks, close to his blood red eyes.
"So you must be the Eight Espada. I really don't know your name, and I don't really care to." Kisame pushed himself off the door frame and entered the room, stepping in slowly as his feet padded along the ground. Kisame had no threatening aura around him, his Zanpakuto was sheathed at his side. "I have to say...I'm not very impressed with you." He stopped only a few feet away from where Kha meditated.
"I'm sure you are wondering why I am here, talking so much without letting you get a word in edge-wise. Well, let me enlighten you number Eight. I am here to replace you." Kisame crouched down, eyes level with Kha's now if they were even open. Kisame didn't move, nor was he going to make the first move. Unless he had to as in Kha ignored him to continue meditating. "I understand if you don't want to fight, you can just surrender your number to me and die by my blade in a quick painless death. How does that sound?" Kisame raised a brow, figuring his words of surrender would fall upon deaf ears and there would be a fight.
Inside the baths, it was rather quiet and calm while No Juro looked to doze off near instantly in the waters. As a hot spring as it was, the place was obscured in vision by mist, but the dividers still helped for anyone who actually cared, not that it mattered in the Decimo's case.. As peaceful as it would have been, if Juro was aware enough, the now still waters he was in began to disturb once more from what may as well have been the opposite of the bath. Before the espada would hear much afterwards, the feeling of another presence was clear as their spiritual pressure drifted into reality in the immediate area, at least to try and give the sleeping dog a nudge. After that, a feminine whimper was heard mixed with anger and fear. If Juro stirred at all to look, the mist cleared enough to show the silhouette of two figures fading away into a clearer picture with one man having his arm wrapped around the shoulder of a woman, his hand finding its way home in the water. The woman arrancar was easily comparable to a fraccion, one of the bath attendants no less and in no way willing to be in such a position. Smirking a bit as the man laid back against the edge of the bath, he wondered if this lazy excuse of an espada was really aware of him. Still, whether it fell upon deaf ears or heard crystal clear, his introduction began.
"So... You're No Juro, Espada number ten.. Decimo. With how lazy you've been I'm surprised you're even among them, let alone be of use to Vaham... Pitiful really..."
With that, the redheaded man sat in wait to see if he'd gain a response or not for now.
Out in the dull, gray expanse of Hueco Mundo, a lone woman sat atop one of many large pillars dotting the sandy landscape. Squatting more like, if it wasn't for the large skirt she wore it'd be quite unfitting for a woman. A greatsword over her shoulder and what looked to be an eyepatch over her head, it was really the remnants of her mask as she sat there, staring off at the horizon with Las Noches in sight. Eyes shifting in one direction and then to another at the particular dome structure, this pink-haired arrancar shut her emerald eyes in thought before a grin crossed her lips,
"Looks like some of the others have decided to make their move... Alright then, sounds fine with me. I've been getting tired of waiting to get this party started anyways, just watching from a distance. I guess the weaker ones wanted to get a head start. Heh, if they croak just leaves more room for me to clean up and have fun... I guess it's time I find my own prey. And to start.."
The woman paused in her monologue as she stood up, blade in hand. Brandishing the blade from side to side for a moment, the woman chuckled to herself before the back of its blade propped itself onto her shoulder again before the static sound of a sonido tore through the air and she was gone. Reappearing closer to Las Noches, the arrancar looked around and used sonido a few more times in search of something before stopping. She spotted a couple low-ranking arrancars outside on the perimeter likely making their own runs for whatever reason it may be for picking on lower hollows. From the neck of her jacket, you could see the edges of her teeth from the wide smirk she had from anticipation. Sonido once more, she made her appearance swiftly before the two knew what happened. One finding himself stopped in place from sheer pressure, he only turned to look on and see the other fall to the sands as they were cut down.
[glow=white]"What--... What the hell?!.. What'd we do to you- you bitch?.."[/glow]
At first putting on a tough front, it was short lived as she rushed up to his face, a sinister grin on her lips as her single eye stared at him only a few inches away, "Do I need a reason? For what reason do you hunt? For what reason do you fight? To satisfy hunger? An itch to kill? There's plenty of base reasons for it and despite all that, I don't need one... But you, you're going to do something for me if you value that pathetic husk you call a life."
Wordless, the man merely snarled in anger with teeth gritted, quietly standing in defeat as he held back his rage. Seeing his compliance, her eye narrowed before a hand went for his throat, the wild smirk returning to her, "Good... You're going to send a message for me. Go and find the one they call Sexta within this fortress.. If he's as honorable as some say then tell him he's been issued a challenge. Even if he declines, I'll hunt him down anyways... There are much more suitable arrancar to stand under the Lord than these Espada... I relish to see them fall.." With that, she tossed the arrancar away from her towards Las Noches' grand walls, leaving the whelp to do as she said, knowing that she wouldn't be far behind to cut him down in an instant. Still, despite the fear and anger, it made the hollow wonder why go through the trouble to challenge the Espada? What was going on?
