It was just another day at the headquarters, truth be told. A heavy sigh escaped the redhead's lips as he heard the debriefing going on before them. Another mission to capture a group of Ghouls- the goal? To gather as many as they could for a new set of quinque. The task would be a relatively easy one at that. All they needed to do was ambush a group of Ghouls- from there it would be simple to hunt them down one by one.

"Is that understood?" The older gentleman asked, eyes peering out at the inhabitants of the meeting room. There were multiple words of agreement to be heard by the various agents filling the room. "Heron, take your team and head over to the location right now." Their superior stated, before dismissing the group of agents here. Hazel colored hues flickered over to the raven haired female beside him, Mizuki. A Ghoul that he had mentored previously up until this point. It was a task that left him hesitant but he accepted the role that had been provided to him. A necessary thing he deemed.

"- Get the spare quinque you used for practice yesterday morning, you're going to need it today. We'll meet near the front entrance of the building. Head over there once you're prepared." Alastor announced, before rising from his seat and turning to the rest of his unit that still remained in the room. "Everyone else suit up and meet me in the front in the next fifteen minutes."

And with that, the redhead soon headed out of the meeting room and continued to walk along the corridor until he reached the area near the weaponry. It didn't surprise him that his own briefcase was missing, given his time with a certain Ghoul investigator. Mizuki always had a tendency to lend a helping hands to others silently.

Alastor wasted little time in suiting up in the standard uniform before making his way to the designated meeting spot- the front of the building. Sweeping his gaze over his teammates, lips were etched in a thin line. "Are we all ready to head out?" He questioned, taking on a more authoritative tone.

    ---

Mizuki's gaze lingered on the superior before them as she carefully listened to the explanation being given to them. It was a good thing the raven haired female wasn't a rookie any longer. If that was the case now, she would certainly feel jitters at the thought of being on the field again. Fortunately, she had a maximum of two years of experience and her superior, Alastor, to help guide her to the correct path.

At the mention of Alastor's last name, she perked up slightly and become more attentive to the speech. With the dismissal, Mizuki was tempted to rise from her seat until she felt the male's gaze on her- prompting her to turn her attention over to the redhead. "Understood, I'll head over there right away." She replied casually, before following in suit and heading out of the room. Despite playing the facade of the ignorant, she was all too aware of the scornful gazes coming in her direction from other fellow agents.

For the next fifteen minutes, her suit had been switched for the standard black amour suit. Meanwhile, an all too familiar briefcase was located in her possession as well as a second one in her free hand. Given Alastor's general attitude, it seemed better to bring along his weapon considering his occasional lapse of procrastination from time to time.

"Here's your quinque." Mizuki stated, reddish-brown hues flickering over to the red haired male. It wasn't long after that, that more agents in their group began to gather in the front. It was almost time for them to head out on their mission. She had no qualms against fighting Ghouls- this was the reason she spent various time training.

With a quick nod of agreement from her and verbal confirmation from the others, there was little stopping the team from heading out of the base. It was finally time for them to get started and capture their targets of the day. As many as possible.

    { LOCATION: LUX CAFE }

Cerulean hues flickered around the confines of the cafe, peering at the customers who occupied several booths and tables to themselves. It was rather miraculously that Akira was here with the peace loving folk. Then again, he could probably thank the old man upstairs for that. Was it not for his influence.. he wouldn't have been here right now. No- he would have been outside in the streets, fighting against others of his kind.

Releasing a small breath, he turned his attention over to one of the customers as he heard them beckoning for one of the severs. "Ah? Don't worry, I'll handle it."He spoke, dismissing the other waiter. With that quick exchange, he went ahead into the kitchen with the empty glass of tea before returning with a filled glass. "I'm sorry about the wait." He stated, keeping in mind the pleasantries of his job. Smiles and small talk- relatively simple things that he had to do.

Slender digits briefly rose to cover the small yawn escaping his parted lips briefly. Lux cafe wasn't too terribly active today, considering there were only a few customers here and there. A majority of them, based on previous conversations and sightings, were Ghouls themselves. Of course, there were a few humans scattered around the cafe, sipping on various drinks of their choosing.

Akira's thoughts were running rampant once again, almost making the male wander back to his days in the ward. Honestly, he still found it rather shocking that he had joined the ranks of Lux. Perhaps he could actually do some good here and possibly help someone else- like what the manager had done for him?

At the sound of the door opening, Akira snapped out of his thoughts as the small bell rang- signalling the arrival of another individual. Considering the other employees here were occupied, he had went ahead and issued greeting. "- Hello, welcome to Lux."

Perhaps it was the vague memories and constant tidbits of a girl's voice that bothered Makoto frequently. Something that often gave him migraines if he thought too much about the subject. Nevertheless, he ignored the thought as he situated himself against the wooden counter in the small apartment building. Light brown hues briefly peering at the younger Ghoul, Tsuki. A small encounter, sometime after his escape, had initiated their first meeting with one another.

At first, he did feel a bit uncertain about mentoring her but his mind had changed seconds after conversing with her. They both went through similar life experiences, and he couldn't stand to see her suffer. The only option he could see was taking her under his wing while offering guidance and protection to her. "If you're still feeling tired from the training earlier, go ahead and take a break upstairs, alright?" He suggested, concern subtly leaking through in his voice at the given moment.

There was no one here to disturb them from actually relaxing for once, considering a majority of their members were out scouting or on their way back. Of course, he did have to initiate a meeting between the members and himself. Based on the rumors he heard around the ward, the CCG was already planning their next move. If Makoto was remembering correctly, they were after more Ghouls.

The thought was sickening- then again, so was the thought of actually making peace with the CCG and humans. Ideals that a certain group, Lux, wanted to establish. It was a foolish decision in his opinion. There was no way they could coexist together, especially in this manner- not when they were being slaughtered just to be weapons to be used against one another.

"Don't worry, I don't plan on heading out any time soon." He lightly stated, peering over at the brunette for a moment. It was already past four-thirty, almost threatening to be considering evening.

Walking by listening to music he decided to head towards a shop that has some cheap coffee. Opening the door he's greeted and is instantly sitting on a booth like table. "What can i get you cutie?" a woman in a strange outfit asked him. Leeum stared at the squinting girl and answered with a calm tone "May I please have a small coffee?" the waitress nodded and went off to prepare his order. After a couple of seconds passed he put his headphones on and continued listening to some music. People stared at him for the big headphones, but it was better that way once they peeked it was a simple "whats with those big things" and immediately kept to their business.

He took out a small note pad and began to write down the day and time, a journal. He decided to write down everything he did in case something happened to him he can assure himself someone will know who he is and what he did. "There's been a lot of people just missing this week huh.." some girls words sneaked through the loud music as Leeum removed his left side of his headphones. "Yeah around that constructed building right"

The more they talked the more he wrote down. Good, now he can maybe find more answers as too why he is here. "There you go hun" the waitress remarked as she placed down the cup of coffee in front of him. "Thank you" Many thoughts came to mind. A ghoul maybe? or is it a psycho just killing for fun? He was getting very curious and decided that later on tonight the Blood Wolf will go out to hunt.

{ LOCATION: LUX CAFE, 20th ward } // I figured we'd settle in that ward.

Akira merely watched over the customers from his spot near the counter top, merely leaning against the oak counter. His cerulean hues flickered around the small cafe only to pause at the two conversing females, a curious gleam in his eyes. Another group of people missing. At the very least it wasn't a group of children.. then again who would pay attention to that? The children who were still lost were orphaned- and ghouls at that. Turning his head slightly, he shook those thoughts away as he noticed another customer beckoning him.

Once he refilled the drink, Akira returned to his previous spot against the counter. "Everyone keeps talking about that construction building recently.." He muttered, turning his head slightly to converse with the employees. "It's been mentioned on the news far too much. It's a shame they aren't focusing on that other matter instead." Aoi (NPC ) mentioned from behind the counter, eyebrows furrowing slightly at the thought.

Nodding his head in agreement, Akira pushed himself off the counter as he noticed a pair of customers already retreating- bills paid. With their absence, the ghoul grabbed one of the damp towels and headed towards the table to clean up. It was here that he noticed an auburn haired man with a journal in his possessions. An eyebrow rose slightly at the realization. "-Excuse me, are you a journalist by any chance?"

  4. Naomi Rin
Ghoul Agent | CCG base --> Outside

"What a wonderful, beautiful day~" The girl skipped along with a sing-song voice, giggling while twirling around. Of course, as usual, she was in a good mood. Why? Because she got some more ghouls to hunt down and kill! What another fun, wonderful day for the Tarantula. She had popped right out of bed, got a good breakfast, said hello to everyone who crossed her path, and made her way to the door. Bursting out and breathing in fresh air, her arms were outstretched.
"Good day city!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, but there were people right in front of her, causing her to blush.
"That never happened." She said, turning away and covering her eyes.

  5. [IMG]

    { Location: CCG headquarters, outside }

It wasn't surprising to see Naomi prancing around right now, especially at this hour. "Sure- nothing happened at all." The redhead stated, deciding to indulge her and comply with her request. Now that Alastor thought about.. was she just coming in to the building? With a quick hand motion for his squad to head forward, he lingered behind for a brief moment. They would be fine without him for five minutes or so.

"Rin- did they give you any assignments for today?" Alastor questioned, eyebrow raising slightly as well. From what he could tell earlier, there were a few individuals who had been missing from the meeting. It wouldn't be too far fetched to say some of the members of today's assignment could very well involve individuals who had been late earlier.

    ~Tsuki Karma~
    (Location:Noir)
Tsuki leaned against the wall, her arms crossed lightly over her torso in an attempt to keep her sleeves from sliding off. She felt tired, but not from training. No, this tiredness was simply from a lack of sleep, something that ever since she was born she could not get enough of. Besides, she couldn't just sleep all day long, not when Makoto had been so kind as to offer her a place to stay. There was no way she would just sit around and take advantage of this kindness, which is exactly why she asked Makoto to train her.

Nevertheless, the training made her slightly sore around her middle back, but her mentor had said that with time her body will become more used to the fact that she's going to use her kagune more. How long has it been since they met? Now that the young girl thought about it, she realized that it's been over a year since they've met, and she hasn't done anything helpful!
"-take a break upstairs, alright?" Tsuki snapped her head up, realizing that said ghoul was actually talking right now. She tilted her head at him, he wanted her to go upstairs? "Don't worry, I don't plan on heading out any time soon." Oh, he must think she's tired from training. Tsuki nodded, this would give her valuable time to figure out some sort of thing she would do in order to show Makoto her gratefulness. "Alright, thanks." She quietly muttered as she passed by him, heading up the stairs to her room. Locking the door behind her, an idea suddenly popped into her head.

Acting on impulse, she opened the small window, and grabbing a small purse with her mask and a small amount of cash, she slipped through, jumping over to a fire escape to her left and sliding down it. Luckily she managed to look at a clock before leaving the small apartment building. "One hour to find a gift, easy enough." Tsuki muttered to herself before setting off into the busy streets of the 20th ward.

    ~Koichi Ina~
    (CCG Headquarters)
Koichi found herself waiting in an office. She didn't know exactly why, but the lady at the desk asked her to wait here so that she could properly meet her mentor. The ravenette wasn't sure exactly on what to expect, the only thing she knew about her mentor was that he had the alias "Clover" and that he is, well, a guy. While she was waiting, she started to imagine what her mentor would look like. Perhaps he was tall and intimidating, with a mohawk and a clover-emblemed leather jacket. Tsuki shook her head, she shouldn't be considering him as a stereotype, that's like saying all blondes are dumb! And of course, everybody knows that having blonde hair is not what makes you stupid.

As she was contemplating this, the door to the small office opened up, causing the petite girl to shoot up into a standing position, a salute ready and waiting for...green hair. Wow, okay, definitely not what she was expecting. Still, Tsuki stood tall and rigid, well at least as tall as she could be, but it wasn't her fault that she had to physically tilt her head up in order to see her commanding officers. And tilt her head she did, this guy must've been at least six feet tall! It's alright, you can do this, he just looks a bit more...eccentric then what you expected... She thought, as she waited for him to introduce himself.

Makoto had been quick to train Tsuki and take her under his wing, all too aware of how cruel the streets could be. It was always going to be struggle to survive, especially with the constant clashes against others of their own kind and the CCG. He needed to find a way to offer some form of protection for them. The only solution he found was hunting down the CCG and taking them down one by one. His time there might have been the fuel that ignited the fire within him called anger.

With a quick nod at the male, he lingered in the downstairs area as he tried to organize his thoughts. If he wanted to see this through to the end, then something needed to be done soon. An attack would be needed soon. Otherwise, Makoto would risk losing the current ongoing battle. It didn't help that more Ghouls were beginning to slaughter others and abandon their bodies near the construction area. One would think they would do a better job of hiding the bodies at least. Releasing a harsh sigh, he straightened his posture as he pulled his phone out of the confines of his pocket- scrolling through the contacts listed there. It wasn't long before he began to make a few phone calls, checking on the actions of those under his hand.

"-What? Didn't I tell you to keep those guys away from that area last time?" Makoto stressed, lips quirked downwards in a frown. "Look- just keep them occupied and I'll go down there to deal with it myself." He added, before hanging up. Looks like he needed to fend off territory once more.

Leon was walking towards the coffee shop hands in his pockets. His throat was aching since he hadn't had anything to drink for a while. As he was approached the building he thought to himself "this better be the right place..." He pushed open the door and quietly enters the shop taking a seat at a loanly table.
A waitress walked up to leons table "what would you like hon?"
"small coffee please..." the shy boy replyed
"okay it'll be hear soon" she said smiling as she walked away. The young boy just stared at the table waiting for his drink and listening in to the conversations around him.

Leeum kept writing down any information he could when suddenly a scent came to him. "A ghoul?" He said to himself staying still. Leeum looked forward and began eyeing everyone to figure out who could it be. "Are you a Journalist?" he snapped out of his search and looked to his right seeing a waiter. He looked a bit odd, but nonetheless normal in Leeum's eyes. "N-no i enjoy to write is all" his words stuttered a bit. Never good in conversations he stayed quiet for a bit as he kept getting that scent. "May I ask you something?" Leeum asked with a serious look as he closed his note pad.

He stood up and walked towards the counters hoping the man would bite on his bait that was left behind. He looked straight ahead thinking of all the incidents that have been happening and wondered why at that building? "Hurensohn" Leeum cursed in German softly to himself. "Theirs no leads other than this stupid building." he said a bit out loud so the waiter can get even more interested.

    Clover-Kai
    19th Ward from Osaka -
    Commission of Counter Ghoul Headquarters

    __________________________________________
Previously that exact night he was performing recon around the 19th ward, he had set up road blocks which secluded the area of Osaka. Yet quiet the howls of alley dogs roared through the ears of the agents that were posted up at every road. It was not all that soon after that they all heard screams coming from the center lane that connected all the roads, with swift action all troops including Clover rushed to the scene to find 10 dead bodies in a pile and a ghoul whom stood tall upon them. Everyone was shocked and frightened, the novice troops stood still and some ran off for fear that they would die and others merely stood there without a word. Clover on the other hand remained fearless and still had his smile, It was clear that this ghoul was nearly S rank in appearance but the only way to test that out was to confront it. Without further hesitation clover whipped out one small case and pressed the button causing the briefcase to transform into a balisong knife in his hand. With a few twirls it snapped back into lock as the knife stood stiffly outward, Clover didn't waste anymore time standing there as the Ghoul attacked him with his Rinkaku tail he dodged it by a mere side step.

Clover sprinted towards the ghoul with the intent to kill, he held his hat firmly on his head to keep it from flying off. The Ghoul dashed forward in the same sequence as Clover and they both met at the same time, with one fatal attack from both teams they stood back to back from each other. The first person to fall was the ghoul as his head was cut clean off from the neck, Clover on the other hand never fell as his smile remained only to have a small piece of his hair sliced off. Silence overwhelmed the area as the only sound that echoed was the body of the ghoul as he fell down, Clover snapped back the balisong with a few twists of his wrist and as the knife closed shut it reformed easily back into a briefcase to which he then carefully positioned back inside his suit.

After that night he went back to the headquarters to document what he saw then carefully recorded it into the database from his office. A folder was placed on his desk as he walked inside earlier and it was time to open it to see what it was, Clover scratched his chin as he read that he was getting a partner today. ''Hmmm...'' He mumbled to himself as he turned the page to see her profile, ''Its a girl.. a Young one, huh.'' His expression on his partner was nothing more than questionable, Why would someone like Clover to paired up with such a young girl? Regardless of the situation he hoped that she was at least a nice person, Someone of the melancholy stature is something that Clover always wanted to stay clear from even at all costs. It was obvious to him that he was going to be paired up with someone sooner or later so it was better now than latter when he grew old.

It was not soon after when he finished reading the folder that he received a email stating that his new partner was waiting for him outside of his office. Clover took one last sip of coffee and straightened his tie before getting up from his chair and opening the door to meet her. She saluted quickly as if she was some sort of recruit, fresh from the academy and this only made Clover smile more in a hilarious tone. ''You don't have to salute me.. at least not now that we are partners. I'm Clover, SS Class Special Agent and you're mentor, How do you do?'' He greeted himself as he took his hat off and bowed.

    ⌈Hanzo-Crow
    20th Ward
    Streets of the City -

    Lux Cafe
    __________________________________________
Hanzo didn't have too much of a busy night yesterday, he only had to kill one person which was pretty relaxing for him. He carried around a bingo book of his killings in his suit, people who he has killed and people he needed to kill and their assumed location at a certain time based on recent activity. The next person he had to kill was a 24 year old male of the name of ''Ichigo Sui'', It is presumed that he will be at the club during the time of 12 - 3am midnight. It was clear to Hanzo that he needed to arrive at 2:30am, to not only watch where he went but to learn more in case he got away. Hanzo thought clear and a few steps ahead, without thinking this way it would only be harder to catch his victims. He never used his masquerade mask either, whenever he used his mask it was only if he knew that he was getting into a fight with a CCG agent. His anonymous appearance and regular business clothing made him look not only like everyone else but gave him the ability to blend in with the daily life of Tokyo.

After a few minutes of walking down the street he finally arrived in front of the club where he obviously couldn't get into due to he line, it was already 2:30am and he had to get in immediately. He looked around and noticed a backdoor in the alley way beside of the club, He approached the day and luckily it was unlocked. Following the sound of music through the kitchen he finally arrived to red foam door that he pushed open and headed into a crowd of people dancing. ''Why the fuck is there a kitchen in a club?'' He asked himself in thought but then suddenly noticed that this club also had tables upstairs, ''Hmm.. Perhaps my target is up there.'' Hanzo thought as he walked left and took the stairs up to the waiting area. He looked around before opening his bingo book to refresh his memory on what he looked like, black hair, dark green hairs, usually drinks a lot. Hanzo quickly found his target as he was sitting clearly right in front of him drinking like he was going to die today.. this was his last day alive but he didn't know that. He waited till he moved near the back alley for a smoke, Hanzo began with equipping the white gloves then snapping back his wrist opening the balisong knife, with swift action he began thrusting the long blade but golden blade inside the gut of the human whilst holding his mouth with the other hand to keep him from screaming. In the end he was stabbed 48 times in multiple places in the gut and chest area, He dragged the body to his hotel room, grappling to the window of his room so he wont be seen.

Eventually with time he had completely made a perfect soup with a few spices, he drained it into a large pot and wrapped it to perfection. At this time it was pretty much day time and he hasn't slept yet but that didn't stop him from doing his job, he walked to the Lux Cafe and walked through the door. He stood tall with a black suit on, his hair combed down in a spike that curved through the middle of both eyes. His hair style was a bit different from the others, however it wasn't like it was green or something, it was black like something normal. The bell rang as Hanzo opened it and almost immediately he greeted everyone, ''Hello, Everyone'' He said.

Tsuki walked on the sidewalk of a certain street that's well known for a small coffee shop, mingling with the busy crowd of people. While she thought it was a good idea to use the little bit of cash she had saved up to buy her mentor a gift, she forgot that she didn't really know much about the 20th ward, meaning that she was slightly lost. Not to mention she still has no idea on what to get Makoto, and it's already been fifteen minutes since she left.
Her surroundings weren't helping her at all either. It was the time when most workplaces let their employees go, so you had a very crowded sidewalk where every five seconds somebody would bump into you, very stressful indeed. The brunette needed a quiet place to recollect herself, luckily there was a small alleyway coming up to her left. Turning into it, the young ghoul leaned against the wall, thinking deeply. What to get, what to get... "Ah, I know!" She exclaimed outloud after a few seconds of deep thinking, smacking her fist downwards into her other open hand. "Makoto's scarf here lately is starting to wear out, so I'll get him a new one!" And with that in mind, she walked out of the other side of the alley, turning left and walking straight into a person. Immediately Tsuki bowed her head in apology as the stranger turned around. Looking back up, her emerald eyes met another pair of black and red ones.

Oh crap, the brunette thought to herself, taking in the situation around her. She recognized some of these ghouls from Makoto's place. They were the ones who hung around and talked about what the CCG was up to. Looking past them, she could see some figures fighting farther down by an abandoned construction site. "Oh good, the canine must've sent us backup." The ghoul she bumped into, a young man with a black hoodie and a gasmask on (npc) stated. "Hurry up and put on your mask."
Not sure of what was going on, Tsuki did as she was told, taking out the masquerade styled angel mask she owned and securing it to her face. "Good, now see those guys over there? Yeah they need to either leave or die." The ghoul pointed over to where people were fighting, making sure that Tsuki knew who was who before joining back in the fight. While the girl didn't know why they were fighting, she recognized Makoto's alias, so that must mean that these guys are his allies. Taking off her sweater and tighting it around her waist, she activated her kagune, the white feathered tentacles slicing a few small holes through the white tank-top she had on underneath.
The young ghoul ran into the fray of the battle, helping out her comrades by sneaking up on the enemy they were fighting and thrusting one of her tentacles through their stomach, staining them red as she used the other two to give her a speed boost. She weaved through the battlefield, slicing and dicing whoever needed it until the rest of the enemies were either dead or had ran away.
Looking down, she noticed that one of her victims was wearing a nice black scarf, although it did have some blood on it. Unwrapping it from the deceased person's neck, Tsuki examined it. All it needed was a good wash and then it would be a perfect gift. Hanging it on her arm, she turned to the ghoul who got her into this mess. She unactivated her kagune, stretching her shoulder as she walked towards him, putting back on the black sweater she owned. "I'm keeping this, thanks." She muttered to him, before running back to the apartment building.

    (CCG Headquarters)

Koichi lowered her hand, relaxing her posture slightly but not enough so that she was slouching at all. It seems that her mentor wasn't the type for super formal conduct. "Hello, I'm Koichi Ina, nice to meet you." She put her right hand out for him to shake. "As for how I'm doing, I'm doing fine, thanks for asking." She didn't really know how to react to her eccentric mentor, he even bowed at her! Not to mention his height, which was about a good foot and a half more than the ravenette's.
The green headed man smiled at her, and when he talked to her he seemed to be amused, did she do something funny? Perhaps she was supposed to wear something more casual than her lightweight cardigan over a nice button up shirt, complete with black slacks and a blue tie to match her eyes? As the small girl thought about this, she glanced at the suitcase placed by her feet, it's silver appearance partially reflecting the artificial light.

    { LOCATION: LUX CAFE, 20th ward }

Oh? Was he trying to pique his interest now? Given the scent lingering in the air, there was no reason for Akira to grow suspicious about the other. Then again.. what if the other was a cannibal by any chance? There were groups of Ghouls who resorted to that method, preferring to seize the opportunity to gain other abilities. Of course, that was a rare chance in a million. An eyebrow rose slightly at the other's actions, debating it for a moment. There was always the possibility of this conversation bringing more ruin than good. However, Akira couldn't deny he wasn't the least bit curious about this man and the pending question.

The latter of the other's words grabbed his attention, informing him that an answer was needed by now. Why not indulge the other's request for a bit? Besides, this could very well help the manager in the long run. Releasing a breath, the towel in his possession was left behind as he headed towards the other, nearing the counter by now. "So- what did you have in mind?" Akira questioned, lips quirked in a small smirk. He could only hope this question would be of some use to him, and possibly the group at that.

The ringing of the bell caught Akira's attention with ease, alerting him of the presence of another customer. However, he was by the sight of Hanzo. Huh.. he didn't expect to see him popping up at this hour- shoot. It must have been time for the delivery. "- Excuse me for a moment, alright?" The ghoul stated to the other male, before approaching the older gentleman. Akira didn't know much about the man in front of him, besides his connection to the cafe. In a sense, one might call Hanzo the supplier for the Ghouls that couldn't hunt for themselves. "Hello, did everything go well? The manager is in the back- if you'd like to speak to him." He stated, cerulean hues briefly lingering on the wrapped pot in the other's possession.

"Do you want me to take that to the back?" Akira questioned, deciding to settle that matter first. From what he could tell, there were a few Ghouls in the cafe already beginning to sneak a few glances at the duo. The smell must have attracted their attention by now.

Within a mere five minutes, the blonde had returned with the freshly brewed drink in hand. "-Here's your drink, sir. If there's anything else you'd like from the menu.. please let me know." She stated, offering a quick smile to the male before retreating from the table. Although, something did delay her from making her leave just yet. However the thought was promptly shaken away as she went ahead to continue her business.

    { Location: Outside of Noir }

Makoto was halfway out of the territory, the domain of the apartment complex, when he had received a call. With a quick swipe on the screen, the phone call was promptly accepted by the male. "- Yes? Huh.. everything's settled there then? Alright, I suppose that handles that then. Try and see if you can find the location of any of the children, alright? I'll contact you guys soon." He stated, before hanging up the call and pocketing the device. Try as he might there was no way to keep an eye on all of the children residing in the ward. Despite all of the numbers he was slowly gathering, there was no guarantee that he would be able to offer help to any of the orphans of this ongoing battle.

Releasing a small breath, he headed back down the familiar path to the apartment. The ghoul had his suspicions that a certain young ghoul had been involved in the fray. Makoto wasn't the least bit upset she had sneaked out and gone there. Although he was hoping that she wasn't injured due to the fight. Maybe he should confirm if she actually gotten involved to begin with.

It wasn't long before he found himself heading back to the apartment only to stumble upon Tsuki there. His lips were quirked in a brief smile as light brown hues resided on her. "Well, this is.. unexpected." He mused lightly to himself, unlocking the door to the apartment for the two. "After you-" Makoto gestured for her to head in first, waiting for her to step inside before following in suit. With the door lightly closed and locked behind them, the light switch was flipped on filling the room with lights. "How did it go?"

  15. Kitsune: Case Report-00001

    Location: 20th Ward, City Streets

Tensions were flaring all over the city, the thickness of it near strangling at times. With the CCG constantly increasing it's operational awareness and strength in the more densely populated Wards a rise in hostilities was bound to come to pass. The Twentieth Ward was no different, and in fact had become to ire of many investigators over the past few months leading to a slight increase in overall security of the place. For the most part civilians took the increase in CCG activity in the area as a blessing, guarding them against the terrors of the night, but there were always a few dissatisfied with the current state of things. Some people ranted about needing more security and exterminating the Ghouls at once, while others argued the investigators were throwing off their daily routine. In truth neither made much sense, and the CCG paid little heed to each party. No, in this game they were playing on two types of people mattered. Investigators and Ghouls, the report following one of the latter.

Kitsune, or rather Rioshi Takanaka, walked about the streets today in Human guise. He had just left the university after a rather long and boring study session with some fellow students, all the while wondering how this shift in power within The Twentieth Ward would effect his life. He was a Ghoul much like many others striving to carve out some semblance of a normal life in Tokyo, however; that was much easier said than done. Unlike many of his kin in recent days though, Rioshi had tried his best to stay under the radar of the CCG despite his love for stirring them up whenever they came near his territory. Rioshi had learned long ago that to live in the world as it was now you not only had to have a fierce and undying strength, but an unrivaled adaptability as well. Humans may well be food, something Rioshi would never deny, but coexistence even if in a rudimentary form was necessary for survival.

Those were his thoughts now as he strolled down the street, wearing a pleasant smile and waving at those whom passed him. He was flamboyant, always had been, but even that was a shield against the CCG. For Rioshi, and his Ghoul persona Kitsune, it was better to enjoy life even if that meant risking it. Life for him meant never hiding in the shadows as others had, and even with the chance of a Human discovering his secret he believed the risk worth it. That was why, even with investigators all over the Ward, he went about his daily routine with seemingly no care as any person would. The risk though would come tonight, for he had put off feeding for far too long in hopes of the heat within the area dying down. Tonight, while Rioshi was presumably studying for a test, Kitsune would have to make an appearance in some back alley or abandoned lot.

Rioshi would raise his hands above his head then, sighing for a moment then yawning. Tonight was going to be a long night and for some reason he just did not feel at ease. It was almost as if, at this moment, someone were watching him out of the corner of their eye. Perhaps it was just idly superstition, the tension of the Ward weighing down his mind, but Rioshi hadn't survived as long as he had by being careless. A wary eye and heightened senses would be stretched outward, just in case his superstition was an actuality.

  16. Naomi Rin
    Ghoul Agent | Outside

"Well, yeah!" She replied, "Got a list just as I woke up." She then twirled for a moment, "And i'm super excited~" Naomi was a strange one; she enjoyed taking the life out of their enemy. To the extent she should be locked up... But that wasn't done, so the Tarantula was free.
"The Tarantula shall bite today." She said in a rather dark tone, having a dark expression to match.
"So should we group up and go out for today?" She asked, looking over at Mizuki. Her expression suddenly changed from dark, to happy, to sad.
"Puleeasseee?! Going it alone is boring, and everyone's too chicken to be my partnerrr!" She stamped her foot like a little kid.

Annabel- some where in the city

Annabel groaned in hunger as she sat there on the roof of a building that looked out over the city. "This sucks. There's no food out tonight." She said to her self as she fumbled with her mask in her hands a bored look on her face as she waited to see some one she could feed off of. She knew she would have to get home soon but she couldn't go home without feeding first. "We'll I guess I'd better go catch my prey." She said as she stood up and stretched we arms and legs before launching off the building and landing on another one then flipping down to the dark and empty street below her mask now covering her face as she looked around the area for any sign of a human before standing straight up and letting her kagunes slowly come out, like flowers blossoming her kagunes came out and opened up letting the nicer looking parts of her kagune slowly start to secrete there hypnotic and controlling aroma as she waited before smiling under her mask as the smell of a human girl came into radius. This woman was alone, she was a rather tall girl with blonde hair and tired looking eyes. She was carrying a couple bags filled with food and clothes from a small shopping spree. "Mmmm good." Annabel said to her self as the girl entered the hypnotic aroma of her kagunes and completely entranced the woman making her eyes go into a hypnotic state and dropping her bags. The woman was fully entranced now and there was no escape from her doom

    [20th Ward : A strange Cafe]

Leeum was noticing the man that walked in with a smile and greeting everyone. He had a strong smell. The lingering aroma was a bit rough yet stained with some sort of cover. Leeum walked to the suited man and as he passed by him to reach a booth when he was next to him he whispered to him "You smell of blood.." With that remark he placed his headphones on and continued drinking his refill of his dark coffee.

Two smells one of a ghoul and the other of human blood. This cafe has some secrets, and maybe some answers to a lot of questions. Leeum ignored everyone and strayed from attention hoping no quarrel will roll with himself.

Sorry its short at work ^^"

''No thanks, Akira'' He said when asked if he wanted to see the boss of the cafe, his voice was smooth but emotionless at the same time, it gave off a warm and welcome feeling but yet a unreachable connection. ''Just take the gift here... I'll have a cup of coffee though if you wouldn't mind?'' He gave the package to Akira and went over to take a seat near the window where he looked out at the sky till his coffee arrived. Hanzo ignored everyone but Akira, He thought that those little conversations that end with hey or a one word sentence had no value in the world so he only talked to people if they showed clear intent to carry out a full conversation.

He knew that the people who worked in the cafe were ghouls but upon arriving to the door he had already sensed unfamiliar smells, it was obvious to Hanzo that there is other ghouls in the cafe and upon opening the door to enter the cafe he decided to stay to see if there was any threat.

After placing the hat back on his head he notices the little girl glancing at her own briefcase, it was clear to him that she was looking for confirmation to see if he knew about her quinque. Clover leaned over to eye level and continued to smile as always, his eyes nearly closed in a slant like everyday ''Nice gun you got there sweety'' He then raised up and straightened his posture. ''We will have a lot of fun together.. Nice combat in fact, You with such a powerful long range advantage with me.. someone of the close range expertise.'' He said whilst looking to the left, his eyes got side tracked by the glare of the sun shining through the windows on the left, however his brain and mind was present to the situation all at the same time. Suddenly he clapped his hands, so immediately and fast it even made the others around shack, With a snap a agent rushed to his side and gave him a document. ''Hmm'' He mumbled as he saw the objective they were given. ''Ichigo Sui, a young man of the age of 24, died at a club.... Here'' He described the basics of the case and handed the file to his partner to read whilst they walked to the elevator. ''By the way... your driving.'' Clover said this in the elevator after the doors closed, there was a bit of a silence when they first got into the elevator which made his statement even more awkward.

    { LOCATION: LUX CAFE, 20th ward }

"Not at all. I'll have it out in a few, alright?" Akira stated, carefully holding the gift in his hands. With the conversation coming to a close, the Ghoul headed back into the kitchen before stepping into one of the backrooms of the building. Due the cafe's involvement in helping out fellow Ghouls, it was necessary for them to have multiple rooms in the building. Of course, Lux's employees were strictly composed of Ghouls. It was easier to keep the many secrets of this place between them in this manner. He walked further down the hallway until he arrived to the designated storeroom, which the manager frequently informed him was the location for any meals brought to them by Hanzo or another of their suppliers.

"- And here we are.." He murmured beneath his breath as he shifted the pot to his other arm. With a quick movement of his hand, Akira opened the door and flipped the switch on, the medium sized room being engulfed by light almost immediately. It took little time for him to walk into the room and place the large pot in the correct area. However the abrupt sound of footsteps nearing the room caught him by surprise, though he wasn't completely alarmed.

"Hey Aki- whoa? Did I catch you off guard?" The blonde employee stated, lips quirked in upwards in a subtle manner. "Not at all." Akira answered sarcastically as he set the large pot on one of the countertops of the room. "Go ahead and head back to the front. I'll take care of the rest back here." She lightly insisted, before gently pushing the male forward and out of the room.

"Alright, call me if you need any help." And with that remark, Akira headed back into the kitchen to prepare the coffee for Hanzo. Fortunately, it didn't take long for the ghoul to prepare the coffee and carefully pour into into a white coffee mug. With the coffee cup in his grasps, he returned to the main area of the cafe once more. "Sorry about the wait." He stated as he placed the coffee down on the table. Cerulean hues briefly flickered to the other client before deciding to approach him once more. The palm of Akira's hand lightly pressed against the table as he leaned against the side of the seats. "- You mentioned having a question earlier.. right?"
