Also my edit button isn't working but in my IC post at the very bottom where I accounted for various outflows of cash, I recognize my syntax for the last line might've been a little confusing. Basically, I mean to have 200 gold on hand, with all the rest (minus the 280 I spent) in storage.

Right, Character Sheet is (finally) finished. Added a couple of things to the appearance and personality of Charlie. Midway through typing my opening post; I plan to meet up with team Eastway...is our heroic Dark Elf about to set out on another expedition? It seemed like he was hinting the contrary.

My plan is to perform at least one thieving op beforehand. I feel kind of bad about collecting royalty checks for a profession I haven't really been using. Afterwards I definitely am going back out. Specifically, I have my sights set on the last east-ward expedition: The Eternal Sanctum. Afterwards I'm heading to Bratus, but at that point the party probably won't have any legitimate reason to stay together. Of course, you could also come along if you want but if you want to go from the expedition back got building your own character arc that would be the time to do it.

Well, we'll see how it goes. Charlie's story arc relies on other people really; so we'll see how this RP pans out. I've been thinking about how to introduce Charlie. She's not the type of girl to just-...walk on up to a random stranger and introduce herself and usually tries to brush people off until she gets to know them. Mainly because she's a danger to those she meets. And I doubt any Eastvaler will be compassionate to keep coming back to Charlie...Unless Aros is curious, or just plan masochistic, because Charlie won't hide what she is.

One thought I had was to push some 'divine intervention' and perhaps have Aros in need of a doctor, but that would be your call, really. The most likely point where he'd get hurt is during your thieving op and I doubt you'd want that to happen, so it's highly the most effective plan of action.

Hmm an interesting idea, but probably not. I'm not opposed to hurting my characters, I just don't see myself getting injured and then deciding it was a good idea to try an expedition in that state. Alternatively, your character could be drawn to mine. I'm a loud guy, and I did plan for him to attempt recruitment to no real avail in a bar or something of the sort. If your character's in the room, perhaps she could be drawn to the idea of going someplace where innocents will be safe from her rage, as well as having the company of someone who will no doubt appear to be overjoyed to have her as a companion. Then again, we have the matter of Misty. She currently needs a doctor. I'm not a doctor.

Doesn't mean I won't help her find one though...?

Don't worry about it, I never expected you to go for it, it was the only idea I had in my noggin at the time.

Charlie's main objective is to go into towns briefly, pack up, and go out again in a constant cycle. Each time with the vague premise of trying to find a cure for her affliction, but her search is half-assed since she firmly believes that she's stuck like this forever and ever amen. Even I don't know what she's looking for since it's more of a "run away from your problems (despite the fact you're your problems)" state of mind.

But I can see it all leading in now. Misty gets her doctor, Aros (please correct me if I'm spelling this wrong) notices Charlie's sufficient doctoring skills, asks Charlie if she wants to go on an expedition.

I've no idea what I'll do whilst Aros is off stealing crap, though. Charlie might just twiddle her thumbs, or bump into someone else.

Nevertheless, it's all moot if I don't know whether or not I can post in the IC yet! I'm going to bed in >30 minutes, but I'll finish off my introduction post (which, by the way, is bloody long) and I can just slam it online before I head off tomorrow.

Aargh, still have to wait a week :(
Feeling so impatient to post my new chars, my head is just filling up with idea after idea at the moment but unfortunately i can't make any of them happen right now :P

Well i think i just have to try to satisfy this flow of inspiration by filling up the character sheets and try to make them even better :P
Also... is it just me or has it been a bit silent day today? How the heck i'm supposed to get over my days off :P

@Radio Jelly Won't help me, i'm still stuck waiting for Loli to post :P

Yeah that's true.
The next couple days are going to be tough for me though, if this is the pace i'm getting my story developed :P Maybe i'm just too restless/impatient :P

I like your arc. Chasing after your dad. I wish my character's dad was still alive to chase...

Q.Q

It's going to get even more depth next week as i make Kera's father, so then people will find out what kind of person he really is and so on and so forth. Also introducing 2 other characters on top of him, the one is the innkeeper and still working on the other one, been filling the inn menu atm :P

Name: Winter Schnee
Age: Mid-Twenties.
DOB: February 14th.
Species: Human.
Gender: Female.
Orientation: Straight.
Home city: Ocorid City
Physical description: Winter Schnee is a tall young woman, with pale skin, white hair and medium-light blue eyes. Her hair is tied up in a bun at the back of her head, with the exception of her bangs, which are brushed off to the right side of her face, and a small lock of hair that reaches below her left ear.
Personality traits:
At first glance, Winter appears to be cold, dignified, and distant, preferring to keep her emotions subdued and speaking in a very high-class, eloquent, almost robotic fashion. However, when interacting with Weiss, she smiles and shows that she cares about her younger sister's life and well-being, based on how she inquires if Weiss has been eating properly, gained any new hobbies, and made any new friends, in "It's Brawl in the Family". Winter also has the ability to know whatever Weiss is feeling. With that said, she is not afraid to raise her hand at her younger sister whenever she is annoyed. Overall, she truly loves Weiss and wants her to succeed in life.
Winter can be very harsh as well, especially towards Weiss. In "Lessons Learned" she attempts to teach Weiss how to summon ice creatures with her glyphs, only for her sister to fail. This causes Winter to growl at Weiss, saying, "If this is what you call trying, then you have no hope of winning the tournament, let alone succeeding as a huntress!"
Although she seems to try to keep her emotions at a low level, she can be rather hot-headed. Once she becomes angry, she drops her dignified lady-like demeanor and loses all restraint. She is fiercely loyal to General James Ironwood, and becomes very angry when his judgment is questioned; but she is equally faithful to his authority, and respectfully submits to him.

History/bio: Winter Schnee is Weiss Schnee's elder sister. She also appears to be former student of Atlas Academy, a member of the Atlesian military's special operatives unit and a subordinate of GeneralJames Ironwood. When she arrives at Beacon Academy, she says that it's "been a long time", implying she is familiar with the school and has visited there before.

Skills/abilities:
Winter shows great skills with her weapon, displaying above-average speed, agility and reflexes in combat. She is able to both start moving and stop in an instant, as shown when she aborted her final attack on Qrow at the last second upon hearing Ironwood's voice. Her skills with her weapon are impressive, and although she was unable to land any serious hits on Qrow, she was able to parry and match all of his attacks for the duration of their fight.
Winter has the Schnee family Semblance of "Glyphs". Her glyphs have many of the same effects that her sister's do, most notably including the ability to exert forces on herself and objects, which Winter uses to increase her speed to super-human levels and boost jumps. Like Weiss and other members of the Schnee family, she can also summon versions of her past enemies to fight for her. Unlike Weiss, she displays great mastery of this aspect of her Semblance. Her summons are known to include dozens of small Nevermores, as well as a Beowolf. Her summons take on a white-blue coloration and emit a soft glow.

Preferred weapon:
Winter's Weapon appears as a upper-class dueling saber. The sword has a single edged, slightly curved blade. The sword's hilt sports a wide, crescent shaped guard that envelops the hand of the person that wields it, purposefully protecting the hand and fingers from any angle. The hilt has a spiral design etched down it that stops at an orb shaped pommel similar to that of Ozpin's Cane. There is a trigger located between the hilt and the guard that opens the hilt. The lower side of the hilt sports a light blue component that is embedded or inserted onto/into the side.

The frame in which Winter opens the hilt to obtain the second sword
Winter's weapon has a function that allows the hilt to slide open and reveal a second hilt within. This hilt is a part to another sword which is sheathed in the hollow fuller of the sword. Winter wields both weapons when separated, and fights in a style similar to fencing with a sword and a main gauche, or parrying dagger. She wields the second sword in her left hand and the main sword in her right, occasionally in a reverse grip.
Like her sister Weiss, Winter wields her weapon in conjunction with herSemblance. This technique that Winter shares with her sister could be because their Semblances the same. It is currently unknown if her weapon has any type of Dust functions, however the light blue component in the hilt is relatively similar to the Dust in one of the chambers inMyrtenaster.

Notable features:
  • Winter is shown to be ambidextrous or have some skill in wielding two weapons at once, as shown by her unique sword and dagger combination against Qrow Branwen in "It's Brawl in the Family."
  • Qrow refers to Winter as a "Specialist" in "It's Brawl in the Family". During the "Huntsmen" episode ofRWBY: World of Remnant, Winter is heavily implied to be a member of the Atlesian military's Special Operatives unit, enlisting following her graduation from a Huntsman Academy.

Other:
  • Winter was first alluded to in "The Badge and The Burden, Pt.2", when Weiss told Ruby Rose she always wanted bunk beds as a kid.
  • Winter shares her last name with Weiss, which is German for "Snow," following the color naming convention on Remnant.
  • Like Weiss, Winter's first name begins with a "W" and she is referred to as "Ice Queen."
  • Winter is one of the four calendar seasons, usually characterized by a cold weather, often accompanied by snow, further tying her entire name with her color motif.

There we go, the intro's done! I'm not too sure how much gold I have to throw about, so I tried to keep spending (and inventory) down to a minimum. Also, since it looked very long, I decided to put the intro in a spoiler for anyone who wants to read it. The main interactions are in the second half of the post anyway.

Can I make up an NPC-run tavern? And thanks for the help, I'll deduct 8g for the measly meal

Winter is good to go, @Achromatic - from the wiki style information I'm guessing she's some sort of fandom character?

And yes, Rainy, you can make an NPC tavern as long as you don't give specifics about it, that way when someone does make a tavern for that town they don't feel like they have to adhere to the specifics you already gave.
