Pendragon Ember
A few minutes had passed after he left the biodome. He had told some of the other trainees that he would wait for them if they wanted to, but they didn't need to feel compelled about waiting for him or not. But after some waiting, it seems no one came out, or rather, probably was not aware he was ready to go. Pendragon felt something was off. He decided to take a look at his phone to look at the clock.
He wasn't aware that he had spent thirty minutes within the biodome.
"Ahh crap!" Letting out a surprised yell from his voice, Pendragon eyes widen to see that he had lost track of time. Normally he wasn't one to let time slip by him, but with his self reflecting within the biodome, he must've been in a really deep trance to lost time on the clock. No wonder no one was meeting him, they all probably left to head to the daycare in Keukelo. And the ferry they were suppose to take is about the take off soon, which means if he doesn't hurry, he'll Pendragon took out Gluttony's pokeball and pointed at him.
"Sorry. I don't want you to be causing trouble in town and I rather not pay for any damages you do for your conquest for food." He told his druddigon as it whimpers out a soft, sad cry from its mouth. The beam hits Gluttony as it returns to its pokeball. Placing his pokemon's pokeball back on his belt, Pendragon began rushing to the port, hoping that the ferry hasn't left by now. Jaws then soon followed after him as he watched his back.
Port Moonwater and the Ferry
Reaching the port, Pendragon scanned where the ticketmaster for the ferry would be waiting. Looking at the sea, he was thankful that the ferry hasn't left yet to Keukelo, but as soon as he saw it, an announcement from the ticketmaster said that the ferry will be leaving in one minute. This of course didn't give the sigh of relief he had been waiting for and only made him panic a bit more. Rushing over to the person, he paid for his ticket on the ferry and climbed on to the ship as it prepared for launch.
Now safe from being left behind by the others. Pendragon walked over to the edge of the ship as he laid his arms over the rails, glancing out into the distance. The view of the city from his distance was a bit stunning even for Pendragon. Even if the city was rather round, it still looked really cool and aesthetic in his eyes. His home town was never this good looking, just a regular town that has a den located within the caves just north of town. He felt like he wouldn't mind living here if things at his hometown don't go the way he had hope for. But first, he needs to pass and become accepted as a gym leader here within this city.
After he had calmed himself down from running all the way here to the ship, he decided to walk around the ferry for a bit. While he hasn't recognize anyone that he met from the lab today, he was sure to encounter someone here since all other aspiring gym leaders would need to head to the daycare for their second assignment. He can't be the only one here right? His faithful pokemon, Jaws jumped on top of his right shoulder as it stationed himself well on his shoulder, wary of the strangers on board of this ship. He had planned to release Gluttony from his pokeball, though if the ferry does cook food here, perhaps its for the best he stays in there for the time being.
Reaching the deck of the ship itself Pendragon noticed there was a large pool at the middle of the deck, alongside some chairs for other trainers to sunbath or even take a rest on. And it seems there are already people swimming in the pool already. While Pendragon had the urge to go for a swim, he didn't really bring any swimming trunks to put on, so he would just have to take off his shoes and socks and dip his feet in the water. As he got closer to the pool, he caught sight of a familiar girl, whom was keeping her little fox friend floating on the water. Perhaps the same one whom he met back in the lab not too long ago. Though he did wonder where the others were, though probably elsewhere in the ship. Though there was a girl sitting on one of the seats, hiding herself from the sun with the shade covering her body, alongside a few other pokemon sitting on each side of her. Though he didn't want to bother her with her relaxation, he turned his attention to the blond girl with the fox friend.
"You're the one that I met at the lab today aren't you." He asked as he untied his shoes, taking off both his shoes and socks and dipping his feet within the water. The temperature seemed just right. The cool water washed between his feet as he moves his feet back and forth. He wasn't sure what else to say to her, since he doesn't know her name since he never had the chance to ask her about it. He's never been a social butterfly and he's not going with attempting to come up with the greatest topics to talk about during conversations. Though since the both were training to become gym leaders here in the city, he could at least ask her something related to that.
"Have you been enjoying this gym leader training so far?" He wasn't sure how everyone felt about this whole thing, since it had just started and all, but he was curious how people thought about the assignments so far, since there hasn't been much battling yet, other than the pokemon they might have caught. Jaws looked down at both the girl and her eevee, unsure what to think about them at the moment, but it would depend how the conversation between her and Pendragon goes.
