Path of a Gym Leader

Rylund's Lab and Training Facility

"Yes actually, I can show you. I have some errands to run in the city." Rylund walked to his private backroom with ice sandshrew on his shoulders. "Just need to put this little guy down for his nap, first. I'll be right with you in a moment." He disappeared inside his room. "You're new, right? Did you sign your name beside your type selection on the sign up sheet?" He asked him as he returned into the lobby, bringing the clipboard off of the wall to Albert just in case. Allowing Albert some time if need be, he waited patiently.

Toddling into the lobby from the automatic glass doors, was a short sauropod with iridescent sails atop it's head.
"Ah Tito, there you are. We have some shopping to do." Rylund snuck away like a ninja and was back again with a floppy hat for the miniature Amaura which protected the ice type from the melting sun. "Well then," Rylund gave himself an accomplished nod. "Shall we get going?" Amaaa. The smaller than usual ice dinosaur followed at their feet as they exited out into the open air.

As they arrived at the center of town, they passed by a particular five star restaurant with a brilliant aquarium as their window. The frosty haired mayor Nero could be seen walking across the street and entering into his townhome with a paper bag of groceries. Meanwhile, a teen with smoky hair and ripped jeans approached them taking up the sidewalk with no sign of moving over. "Get wrecked." He shoved through the Professor and Albert breaking Rylund out of his daydreaming. Rylund just watched the delinquent off blankly, confused of his behavior.

Rex.jpg

"Never mind him, we're halfway to the port." Rylund decided. Tito was bobbing along ahead of them, not realizing what had happened. Before they knew it, they finally made it there to find that the ferry had left without Albert. "Today isn't your day, is it?" Rylund asked cocking a brow. "Not to worry. The next ferry should be arriving around noon." The Professor assured him. "Will you be alright here by yourself?" He asked. Tito blinked his glistening glassy eyes at the strange human with the Professor, curious to know why they were there with him.

The Daycare Center in Keukelo

"WE'RE HEREEE!" Harmony announced anxioussly, easing out of the pool with both Eev and Oricio scooped up into her arms. She quickly grabbed the egg underneath her arm and hightailed it away from the haunted anchor.

She discovered that it appeared to be non-threatening when seeing a familiar trainee with his klefki, but she still wasn't sure of the thing. It seemed to be newly caught and just as terrifying as it would be in the wild.

"I'll- see you guys at the daycare..." Her voice trailed off, attempting to hide away her fear. She nearly ran into Pendragon if it wasn't for Eev alerting her with a warning cry. Oricio scrambled out of her arms and began to climb her now drying hair. "Oh, hi Pendragon. Those look yummy." Harmony saw the treats that he now had, and Eev noticed too with a lick of the lips.

She noticed a waterfront hotel across from the docks, and beside it a cozy little place at the corner of the city near the water. "That must be the daycare center!" Harmony squealed, "Let's go check it out!" Harmony skipped the way to the center giddily.

As they approached, the automatic glass doors slid open and they were welcomed inside the warm lobby by a volunteer. "Hi. Welcome in. Are you here to volunteer?" Nelle asked, holding a cuddly Stufful against her chest.

"NELLE?..." Harmony noticed her old childhood friend. An uncomfortable silence of realization between them both. "U-um We're here for the Professor's training assignment." Harmony said with a weak smile.

"Hi, Harmony... Oh. Right. Rodney, the daycare owner is waiting for you all outside." Nelle led them to the backdoors where a private little shore and the daycare facilities awaited out back. Harmony's eyes began to glow. "This place is... AMAZING." They stepped outside to be greeted by Kangaskhan with a pouch full of baby pokemon that lit up with boisterous greetings. "OH MY GOSH." Harmony nearly fainted at the cuteness before her, as she knelt down to give them a wave and introduction to Eev.

"Hello." A voice said. A man with a fiery red beard came into view and greeted them. A butterfree hovering at his side. "You must be the trainees for the gym leader initiation." He gave them a friendly smile.

"Hiii!" Harmony peeped. "Yes, that's us! My name's Harmony and these are my pokemon Eev and Oricio." She smiled brightly to the man. "You must be the daycare owner." Harmony guessed. He nodded to her with smiling eyes. "Along with my wife."

Splashing from the rocky water nearby, a lady with scuba gear emerged from the surface and made her way over from the little stretch of beach. "Speaking of which, here she is. I'm Rodney and this is my wife Mermella. Call me Rod if you'd like."

Water type gym.png

Mermella gave a wet smile as she pulled off her head gear and held up a golden yellow egg that she had retrieved from her dive. "Hi there. I found us another one to look after." She smiled to Rod who was pleased to see her discovery. "C'mon over, and we'll show you the eggs." She offered the the trainees. She led them over to the row of eggs warming on a sandhill, others in a manmade nest.

Before Harmony began to follow them, Harmony stopped and turned to say goodbye to Nelle, "Bye Nelle, it was good to-" She noticed that her old friend has disappeared already back into the center. Harmony sighed and followed the others. They arrived to a little lagoon kept hidden by Keukelo's tallest mountain on the daycare's private property. There she saw the eggs resting in their places.

Standing by the water, a lady with long mauve hair in a well fitted suit. Harmony then recognized her. It was Leoluna's own Paleontologist, Dr. Blaire Venastone. She wanted to introduce herself, but she didn't want to interrupt whatever she was doing. "We have a special visitor, Dr. Venastone came by to check on her little horsea that she's helping to find a home for."

horsea daycare.png

"That's so sweet of her!" Harmony smiled. Dr. Venastone was at the edge of the lagoon in the distance giving the baby horsea company with her own Pokemon that looked similar to a sea horse, but much larger and complex in design.

CHANSEY! A Chansey assistant hopped up to the trainees with a colorful egg inside of her pouch. "Aw, hi there!" Harmony beamed and watched as the Chansey switched out another egg to keep close in her pouch. "Wow... what a helpful pokemon!"

"Chansey has been here for a long time. Go ahead and pick an egg." Rodney encourged Pendragon.

"Oh gosh-I wonder which I should choose...." Harmony thought aloud, looking over all of the colorful eggs. She glanced back to the golden yellow egg in Mermella's arm and she felt a calling toward it. "Can I choose that one?"

"Oh! I thought you already chose one." Rodney said, seeing Harmony's purple egg. "This one was a gift." Harmony said with giggle. "It's your's then! The more eggs hatched, the better I say!" Mermella handed over the new egg with a smile.

"Thank you so much!" Harmony gave a big, shiny smile. "I'll take very good care of it!" She held it close against Eev and her other egg. Riiii! Oricio cheered from Harmony's hair. "Which will you choose???" Harmony asked Pendragon joyfully.

It didn't take the two long to arrive to deliver the package to the mayor seeing that Leo knew the town like the back of its hand. He knocks on the door to wait for the mayor to answer. "Do you want to do the talking since this job is mainly got you to earn your Eevee?" Leo asked Fluer he was doing the mission that was given to him to earn more favor. And not to mention if Fluer works with him every Pokémon she gets will help him strengthen his own team.

Wolf watches as another trainer arrives on the ferry from the water along with his what appears to be some kind of terrifying Pokémon. "I'm you ok it looks like you almost drowned and not to mention that you coming into the ferry like that is kind of illegal because I don't think you paid for a ticket at all like that."

"Ya Champ does act like a little kid and likes to have fun but doesn't look like your little fox is too happy with him. Best to keep your Eevee safe or maybe teach it to swim at some point."

Wolf said before hearing Shay was another trainer from Keukelo. "So your from Keukelo just like me that explains why you look familiar. It seems both of us had to ride on the ferry twice today, once on put way out here and now a second ride back to town." Wolf said to Shay as she went to inspect the new Pokémon.

And then Harmony took off to get to the Day Care. And Wolf began to head off to the daycare since he was from Keukelo he knew exactly where it was. And as he was getting close he ran into a cute blue haired girl holding a Stufful. "Hey their." Wolf said. "Nice Pokémon you've got a good eye for Pokémon a Stufful is quite strong and a great companion as well. You working with the day care?" Wolf would ask seeing as this girl was just right outside the day care.

TOMMY

Since
Tommy had arrived a little earlier than the other trainers, he offers to help a few staff members who were having a little trouble with a few mischievous babies who did not want to take there nap. Since the baby pokemon seemed like they were filled with energy a they really needed was to burn some off. "Alright listen up troops!" Tommy commands walking up to the group of diffrent types of baby pokemon with bepo before blowing a whistle that had got there attention. "he will make sure you grunts are well oiled machines by the time we are done with you" holding out a salute to baby's before letting out sigh "guess we will have to work on that" "...you realize there ba..." "ok lets begin!" Tommy once again with assertive voice voice "And one and two and one and two" repeating it over and over while he and his mudkip began to swing there hips back and forth doing a simple dance until the baby's had all began to copy them slowly adding a few more movements the longer they did it. "Good job pigey, move those tail feathers! I see you pichu good job, alright now we march!" stepping to the side while letting Bepo start a line and leading the babies out into the hallway and around the complex even stopping by the play area to go down the slide just once before moving on. When they pass by the Daycare's nursery filled with sleeping newborns, he halts the group treating it like they were covert ops dropping to the floor and crawling with the baby's to keep them quiet until they had fully passed.
Eventually the group make it to the secret shore were the other trainers were gathering to volunteer. "Coming through people! Warriors coming through" Tommy yells leading the baby's who were all seemed to be having fun. 'MU, MU, MU, MUNCH!" a Munchlax calls from the back of the line finding it hard to keep up with the rest of them. "Man down!" Tommy says blowing his whistle as he jogs back to the back of the line and knee down next to the munchlax. "Come on, you can do it We are almost done buddy" trying to encourage the munchlax to keep going. He pets its head while he scooped the muchlax up hearing it let out a yawn. "Finally getting tired huh?, allright, troops!, one more lap and we will head back for some R&R" Tommy said making the baby's all jump in excitement not even understanding what he was saying before leading them right up to Venastone and around the lagoon before back the way they came. Since a few of the baby's had stopped and decided to fall asleep on the spot Tommy and a few of the staffmembers needed to make a seconde trip to pick them up and return them to there ....... bedtime room?.

Finally joining the trainers and receiving his second egg which was a darker blue with cyan swirls, Tommy returns to secret shore surprised to see the Dr still there with her pokemon. He keeps a good distance from her and her own pokemon before placing a towel down for his things "you gonna sit this one out?" Tommy chuckles watching bepo slowly walking up to his towel and laying down to pass out "you get some rest bud" pulling off his shirt and taking his two eggs down to the water to take a seat in the shallow water. Tucking the blue egg between his legs while holding the egg in that he had brought into the air. "Here go's nothing" He said feeling the top of the egg and pressing into causing the the egg-shaped case to open revealing a smaller egg in it. The egg didn't seem to be the prettiest of eggs since it had looked to be turning brown and it was smaller than regular pokemon eggs. Chucking the case onto the sand, Tommy swims out with the two eggs and dives down into the water, only coming back to take a few breaths before returning to the
eggs.

Pendragon Ember

The sights of Keukelo was a sight to behold. A waterfront hotel that stands tall even from the docks. Pendragon was a bit impressed with how aesthetic the Keukelo looks. As he was observing the town. Harmony had almost ran into him, causing Pendragon to turn to her direction. "Hey." He waved as Harmony looked in awe with the delicious food he was holding. "Yeah. Someone gave it to me as I was leaving, probably couldn't eat it due to sea sickness. Feel rather bad for him." he frowned. He looked back to the ship, thinking about the seasick guy puking on that ship. He noticed both Harmony and her eevee looking at the cake, liking as if they are wanting a piece of that cake, though he might be interested in sharing it later.

Pendragon follows Harmony towards the daycare as they get ready to adopt their egg. Although for Harmony, this would be her second egg, seeing the purple egg being carried in her hands. Reaching the entrance of the daycare, the doors slid open as the motion sensor registered their movements. Greeting them was a blue haired girl, which, for some reason, had caused Pendragon's heart to skip a beat when seeing her. Pendragon was a bit taken back by this feeling just by looking at her. As Harmony tried to explain to Nelle, whom Harmony called her in surprise, decided to chime in to help her. "Th...the assignment in which we are to adopt a egg from the daycare and nurture it until it hatches." He stumbled a little bit in the beginning as he looked at Nelle, but managed to collect his cool and finished the rest of his statement without stumbling anymore as a soft smile appeared on his face. With her understanding their reason, she asked them to follow her outside of the daycare to where the owner was.

As Nelle was leading the both of them to the back side of the daycare, where the group would be heading to tour the whole facility of the daycare and to choose their newly adopted egg to raise for their assignment. While Pendragon was looking around the building, his eyes would slowly wander back to Nelle every now and then. It's bad enough that this was happening, but with her? Why does human emotions have to be so complicated? Regardless, Pendragon tried to play ping pong with his eyes around the room to avoid being distracted as they entered the private shores of the daycare. The area itself was sight to behold. Many baby pokemon wander around the fields having fun as the pokemon here kept the young-ins entertained and happy all the time. Harmony seemed to be having a cute overdose right now, but Pendragon couldn't hide his emotions to see all those pokemon having fun. And while Jaws didn't show much emotions regarding this, he did feel a bit happy, seeing the pokemon enjoying themselves.

The daycare manager approached them as he seems a bit excited to see some of the gym leaders initiates coming for their next assignment. While Harmony introduced herself, Pendragon did the same after she finished with her. "Pendragon. And the pokemon on my right shoulder is Jaws." The bagon then shook his head as a form of a greeting as Pendragon introduced himself to the man. The man introduced himself as Roland and introduced his wife, Mermella to the group. Seems like the two of them run the daycare here, taking care of all young pokemon and eggs alike. Pendragon turned around to see Nelle leaving, possibly to head back to her original spot now that she was done escorting them. He wanted to say something, but decided that saying anything would be unnecessary at the moment, only leaving a soft smile on his face. Retracing his interest back at the couple, Pendragon followed them into the lagoon, which holds all of the eggs located behind this tall mountain. the eggs themselves would be placed carefully among each other as the pokemon nurture the eggs as they prepare for a healthy hatching in the upcoming future.

Pendragon noticed the lady over there from a distance looking over the horsea in the water. According to Mermella, this was Dr. Venastone, whom seemed to be taking care of the horsea until someone could help find a home for it. He did wonder what the story was with her and the horsea was, but perhaps that can be for another time when they get the chance to talk to her. As Rodney encourages him to pick an egg, Pendragon glanced at the many eggs that were stationed within the lagoon. There was so many to choose from that he wasn't sure what to pick. Even Harmony was curious to see what he was going to pick. After some more time, Pendragon decided to point towards the green egg with a red oval shape around the middle bottom of it, with the fork that came with the cake he got from the man.

"This one" he confirmed his choice as he finally decides on the egg he was going to hatch.

Vincent Luther
Vince seemed to have his question answered as a trainer he vaguely recognized called out to he machop, who then put harmony down. As the boat stopped he pulled himself out of the water, surprised when the large pokemon, and it's trainer hopped on board. It was certainly healthy looking at least, but he didn't really want to be in the way so he threw on his sweater over his trunks and decided he would just wait until he dried off to put his shirt back on. Before he could say anything Harmony was gone. "Oh well." he sighs. Picking up June, who had just shaken himself off, the eevee hops up to his shoulder and plops back down into his hood, instantly soaking it.carrying his shoes on one hand, with his socks balled up inside, he heads off the boat.

Vince pulls his phone out of a pocket in his bag as he looks up the direction of the daycare. as he heads down the streets he stops to buy a snack, he he hadn't eaten yet today. He munched on one bun before splitting the other in half. as the bun sticks out of his moth he held a half out for June, who excitedly munched on it, and as if on cue, Mr Lickylicky hops out of his pokeball, immediately giving Vince a large lick in greeting, which he immediately regretted because Vince was covered in pool water. Vince chuckles, handing the other half of the bun to the licktung, who eagerly accepted, gulping it down in one go.

After finishing their snack the three continued on their way, Jun having moved to Lickitung's head. soon enough they made it to the daycare, where the employees directed him to where the other trainers were gathering. He listened to the group, and glanced over at the egg selection as some of the others picked up their eggs, he picked up one he liked as well. it was nice and basic. just his sort of thing.

Albert Layton
@Luelle
Albert's face lit up when the professor said he'd show him, Applin seemed relieved as well. "Oh!" he half mutters as the sign up sheet is brought u, and he quickly skitters over to it and writes down the needed information. He glances over as the pokemon enters the room. It was quite a cute little guy wasn't it. he decides mostly to himself as he heads after the boy.

Albert was glancing around the town as they walked as if it was all new to him, which it technically was, but it also technically wasn't with hos lost he got earlier in the day, and had been through here about 5 times. Alert became startled when the teen bush passed him, catching Addy as she began to fall off his shoulder. Albert seem downcast when it was revealed he missed the ferry. It really wasn't his day was right. "Around noon.." he mutters mostly to himself as it it would help him remember, "Yes I think I should be able too!" He smiles, "Thank you so much." he smiles, grateful for the help. Without the professor he probably would have missed the noon ferry too.

She was glad that Leo was there but it's time to prove herself that she is capable of this and for the sake of Eevee and her dreams to come true. Together with her pokemon and with the help of leo they can ull reach up their dreams

Altair

Moonwater Ferry

It was kind of to be expected when a ghost Pokemon that was more than 20ft tall suddenly appeared from the ocean, but some people started to panic. Luckily it seems like the ferry had reached its destination shortly, so those who were scared by a perfectly harmless Pokemon that just happen to be large can get off and do whatever their panicked little lives lead them to. Altair regained his composure pretty quickly, as so did Psion, who got up shortly and returned to hovering somewhat menacingly by its trainer. Möbius was as it always were, seemingly quite used to long-distance swimming compared to the others in the group. The same can't be said for the Piplup the trio picked up, as it still seemed fainted as Altair carried it by his side.

"What's your Dhelmise's name?!" Altair raised his eyebrows as one trainer finally came forward in the midst of the confusion and panic, "Finally, a trainer of culture." He muttered quietly before answering the girl who stepped forward. "This is Möbi," he gestured towards the giant anchor behind him, "Psi, my Klefki," he added as Psion jingled a bit, "and I'm Altair...gym leader trainee...I guess..." His voice trailed off as another trainer brought up the point that he was on the ferry without a ticket. "It was an emergency, ok? Would you rather me and this thing be Sharpedo food?" He shook the Piplup in his arm a bit at the young man in question while rolling his eyes a bit.

"Anyways, the guy who must be fun at parties is right, about time for me to get going before I get charged for this." Altair hopped up onto the railing he came from and jumped onto Möbius' steel anchor. He looked back at the girl who had asked him about his Pokemon before glancing at his Xtranciver's region map again, happy that the place seem to have a port he could go to straight from water. "...Umm, if you're really that interested, Möbi can surf with a few people." He half-heartedly suggested to the girl as he tried to strap the Piplup onto the Dhelmise's steel frame with little success. "...And I might need someone to hold this." He held up the still fainted Piplup, thinking that the daycare might be an ok place to drop it off.

Shay Dowa

Moonwater Ferry

Meeting Möbi the Dhelmise was probably the most worthwhile part of her training so far. Shay was practically giddy and wanted to take Altair up on his offer but deiced against it so she could stay with her Pokemon. "I'm Shay. And I appreciate the offer, but I'm sure my Pokemon want to spend more time with me." With that she walked back to the poolside and put her shoes on before gathering up her two Pokemon. Spectra looked rather annoyed and jealous as they passed Möbi. Hidan on the other hand was absolutely terrified of the massive Pokemon, clearly sticking close to Shay out of fear and anxiety. Shay figured it was because of all the new Pokemon and people that he had encountered today. With that she took her leave and sighing at the fact she had just left Keukelo and was now back within half a day.

Keukelo Daycare
Shay knew her way to the Daycare quite well, she had volunteered there every summer since she was seven. On the way she passed by Wolf talking to a girl with blue hair and a Stufful. Once she reached the daycare she headed to the area they kept the eggs, waving to others she knew along the way. She took notice of Harmony, Vince and Pendragon who had already chosen their eggs. She smiled at Mermella and Rod, glad to see the two of them again. "Hi there. Good to see you again. Guess I'll be picking out an egg for once." Looking at the eggs she tried to get a feel for what kind of Pokemon they may provide shelter and nutrition to. That was when she had an eerie feeling and looked towards it to see an egg whose shell seemed to swirl and gave off a faint glow. "I'll take this one. I like the feeling it gives off."
js4fPc4.jpg
Turning to her Pokemon she gave them a smile. "So, which of you knows how to hatch an egg?" Hidan looked at the egg with confusion and inspected it from every direction possible. Spectra stared at Shay, then the egg, then back to Shay before floating away to find something more interesting to do. The clearly bored Misdreavus flew over behind Harmony and gently tugged on her hair before moving back to Shay swiftly. Shay shook her head and gave Spectra a scolding look. In return she received a mischievous grin that clearly meant there would be many next times for this. Hidan had seemed to calm down more and was busy with his own greeting to the owner and his wife. Giving a sigh she looked at her new egg and wondered how one would hatch a ghost type in the first place.

Nero's Townhouse

For a few moments, the door to the town home remained shut after the knocks at the door as if no one were home. "May I help you?" A confused tone came from behind the door as it creaked open slightly. Standing before the mayor were two young people he had never seen before. His icy blue eyes piercing right through the package one of them was holding. "This must be my order. Leave it at my door and leave. I don't have time to talk."

Happy Eggs Daycare

Outside of the center, Nelle was tending to the flower beds when a boy with dark hair and beanie approached her. "Hi." She replied to his greeting. "Thank you, but I'm no trainer. I'm helping to adopt Stufful out to a fitting candidate. And you guessed it right, I'm a volunteer. Who are you?"

At the lagoon, Harmony was busy hugging her eggs close and waited anxiously as Pendragon selected his egg. "It looks like an olive." Harmony giggled to him. "I wonder which Pokemon it is?" She wondered aloud in awe. That's when she noticed Vincent and Shay had arrived.

She wandered over to Vince to show off her new egg, but paused for a moment "Vince! I'm sorry for rushing on ahead. I think I was too excited to get here. I should have waited. That was rude of me." Harmony told him, feeling disappointed in herself.

"I hope the boy with the anchor makes it here ok. I admit that I was overwhelmed by his Pokemon initially, but I need to remember to not judge a book by its cover." She waved over Shay to join them as the others began their selections.

"Wow, there's some kind of strange mist wisping from your's." Harmony said to her at the sight of Shay's new, unusual egg. Shay asked her pokemon how to hatch the eggs, and Harmony wondered that herself. "How do we hatch our eggs?"

"That's something the Professor wanted you all to figure out on your own as apart of the assignment." Rodney informed them. "Looks like you have some fieldwork to do." Mermella smiled. "Have a look around the property here. You might just discover what you need to do." She hinted.

The Noon Ferry

Professor Rylund had wished Albert farewell after helping him to the port and offering to wait with him. He'd be on his way to run his errands in town with Tito, while Albert and the other trainees would hope to catch the arriving ferry. Lynus grinned big with a sack of coins tossing in his hand.

He had made some free money from the tickets that the water trainee had given him so randomly.
"There you are. Where've you been?" He asked the flying mouse who glided down from the sky to land on his shoulder. The mouse just blinked at him, "Eh, nevermind. We need to leave soon."

As he walked to the boarding area to wait for the noon arrival, he noticed a guy looking lost with glasses. "Hey, I bet you're waiting for the next ferry. Do you need a ticket? I have one left." Lynus offered up the last of his stolen tickets with a cheery persuasive smile to Albert.

Her sister Leilah greeted her with a smile " today is the day your going in to be a pokemon trainee!" She said as her brother lukas nodded " yeah! You will be the first one to go to year dream that us!" He said as Hathor smiled " this is only just the beginning, after this i promise to work hard so that someday we will all follow our dreams" she said as her mother giggled " oh sweetie you're still young you don't have to fill many weight in yourself right now and just have fun" she said as her father nodded " your mother is right Hathor your still young and you need to have fun and enjoy your life. If not you might regret it" her father said and ruffle her hair.

She smiled and nodded " thank you and i promise ill do my best and be the greatest pokemon trainer in the world!" She said happily as she at along with them and her Lucky ate along with the other pokemon keeping him happy as he munched.

When they were done eating a car stopped in front of their home and Hathor knew it was the noble who will be bringing her to the lab where the other trainee will be as well " i'll be going now mom and dad and everyone!" She said as they all share hugs together " make sure you be the best sister" Dange said " and well sure to have a big festival when you come back" her little sister said making them all giggle.

" well you should go now Hathor before your late" her father said " and don't forget to send us a letter when you arrive and be safe" her mother said before Hathor picked up lucky and waved at them " i will mom and dad and thank you everyone!" She said with lucky waving as well as they got into the car.

It took almost an hour before they arrived on their location and she bid farewell to the novel who told her to do her best in return. She looked up at the lab and she pulled Lucky to her chest feeling nervous " well we're lucky" she said " makepakeepaa!" Lucky said trying to cheer her and Hathor giggled " your right Lucky were here now and we must do our best" she said happily and smiled in joy " your the best lucky" she said hugging lucky close to her and joined in with the others

After a sign up with the professor she noticed a group of trainees were walking to the boat " oh no lucky were late!" She said as she ran quickly to catch over to them and get into the boat and take in a deep breath that she was able to catch up even if she was almost too late and while waiting she gave lucky some snacks and watched the sea in amazement since it was the first time she was able to get in a boat. When they got there she watched as a girl screamed in joy as she glanced over the building that has a daycare written in it " she guest that they're going to have a tour? She can't be sure so she just has to follow and keep up the best way she can. While sticking close to them Lucky was glancing over the pokemons around "mapeka!" He said as Hathor giggled " oh yes Lucky aren't they all adorable" she said happily

A daycare manager then approached them as she noticed the trainers who seemed to be very excited, making her excited as well at what to come after the joyful girl introduced her name was Harmony and a man introduced himself at Pendragon and the pokemon from his shoulder name is jaw. Then the other man introduced himself as Roland and his wife, Mermella. It Seems like the two of them run the daycare which warmed her heart because of how kind they are to take care of all young pokemon and eggs.

Hathor glanced at the Eggs and there were so many. If Hathor can she would take them all but he knows like the Daycare she cannot do the determination that they can but since she noticed that the others were picking eggs as well. She eagerly chose one "Mapekaapekaa" lucky said to her as she noticed a hit of jealousy which Hathor giggled " don't worry Lucky you're still my number one" she said as she glanced over the egg " can i take this one?" She ask curiously with a wide smile

For a moment, Paige stared at the egg. Truth be told, she had no idea what kind of pokemon would grow out of it. In fact, she worried slightly that her egg had been cracked somehow.
Having found some respite from the others as things were getting a bit hectic and confusing, Paige had decided to collect her egg and venture out on her own. Despite liking some activity around her, she had her limits.
"I wonder," the words left Paige's lips as she gently stroke the egg. The outside was rough and hard. If anything, it could go along as a round rock. A very odd rock that was shaped like an egg.
"We should probably keep it warm, I think," Paige muttered to herself and Ava. The Phanpy seemed puzzled as well, clearly inexperienced on how to deal with a pokemon egg.
Carefully and very gently, Paige took the egg and placed it in her backpack. It wasn't really ideal, but it would have to do for now. Reminding herself that the egg felt hard and sturdy only reminded her that it could likely take a hit or bounce - it had to, seeing it was from a ground pokemon.
Hiking her backpack up, Paige gestured to Ava that they were going to head out. From what she understood before leaving on her own, was that they had to travel towards Keukolo. With a ferry.

Walking towards the ferry, Paige couldn't shake the thought of what could be held in the egg. She knew that pokemon laid eggs. "Or well, most pokemon? Wait, what pokemon don't lay eggs..."
Confused and derailed from her previous thoughts, she decided to pay it not too much mind. The assignment was to deliver the egg and made sure it wouldn't get wrecked during the delivery. Sure, she would have loved to take care of an egg, but there could be another time and opportunity that may present itself in the future.
A smile started to dawn on Paige's lips as she wondered how large eggs ground pokemon could lay. Weren't there huge ground pokemon, after all?

Arriving at the ferry, Paige whistled softly. There were already some people getting on the ferry. The announcement that the ferry was leaving soon didn't help to calm Paige's nerves down as she quickly searched for her wallet.
Managing to find it and rush towards the ferry in time, she bought a ticket.
"That was close, we really need to work on our timing, huh?" Paige sighed as Ava raised her trunk slightly higher as if to non-verbally agree with the statement.

Now that they were on the ferry, Paige wondered who else had made it. Deciding, however, to enjoy some peace and quiet, she would move towards the railing and lean against it.
The soft shivering moved through the ferry as it came into movement, slowly moving from its initial spot.
Throwing a look where the ferry was heading, Paige felt a faint twinge. Causing her to throw a look back. It felt like there was no going back now.

Leo set the package down as instructed as that was job. Leo was here to do his job and nothing more. "Let's head back then." Leo said to Fluer and began to lead the way back to the Eevee farm. So Fluer could get her Eevee and then they could head to ferry and start the next assignment. And Leo could also possibly sale the Paras to the food chain that Damon mentioned to him.

"Oh really now Stufful needs someone to adopt him or is it a her?" Wolf would ask. "Would it be ok for me to adopt the Stufful? And I'm Wolf I'm actually here for the gym trainer assignment of hatching a egg. But I also would love to add a Stufful to my team and family. You never told me what your name was."

Altair

Keukelo Daycare Port

"Ah ha! Here we are!" The trainers back on the ferry might have not appreciated it, but Altair knew that his Dhelmise would make a great traveling companion. For someone who can barely afford a ferry ticket, surfing across the water on a large Pokemon partner was a much better choice. "Ok Möbi, almost there, time to slow down-Möbi?" A somewhat wet and sandy crash can be heard from the Keukelo Daycare's private port. "Well, it's a work in progress," Altair muttered as he got up from the sandy beach, while Psion and Möbi both straightened themselves up, returning to their normal levitating angle. The Piplup rolled on the ground a few times before popping up its head from a small pile of sand, and then hurried to follow the trainer and Pokemon who saved it from being fish food.

Keukelo Daycare

"No, no, no, no - I'm putting you back in the ball - w-wait -" Altair didn't expect his huge ghostly anchor Pokemon to be a fan of babies or eggs, as he was almost certainly sure this will terrify them, though he didn't want to tell Möbi that directly. A few tiny and lightly glowing chains shot towards and wrapped around the Dhelmise as Psion tried to restrain it from charging full speed at the daycare, while the Piplup attempted to shove the giant Pokemon back from the front.

Altair jumped and grabbed the ghostly pieces of seaweed that attempted to pet some eggs, "Wait a moment, you see how small they are?" He picked up one egg gently, showing it in front of the Dhelmise's one giant eye, the eye turned a bit towards the Klefki nearby. "I know, I know, Psi is small too, but he's been battling for a long time, and so are you. These little ones haven't, you need to learn to be gentle." Altair sighed in relief as his large Pokemon seem to have understood, as it turned away from the eggs carefully. They made their way through the daycare a bit more before seeing the group of trainers who were on the ferry, including the blond and purple-haired girls as well as the guy who's Bagon totally tried to attack him.

The air was a little awkward, as Altair was almost certain that he was the only gym leader trainee who's been traveling with such a...head turning Pokemon, to say the least. He shuffled up to the other trainers, as well as the adult who seems to be working at the daycare, "uh, hello..." Being fully aware of his less than stellar first impressions, Altair wanted to perhaps diverge the topic, but that was hard to do when you have a Pokemon four times a trainer's height behind you. "I'm Altair, gym trainee as well, and uh...Möbi, well, my Dhelmise, I think they're really interested in the eggs." He patted the Pokemon's steel body as it seem to be twirling around, playing with the Klefki and Piplup it's traveling with.

"But you know, eggs are kind of a bit too...small-" The short introduction was cut even shorter as Altair's gaze fell upon one egg that was mostly hidden by the landscape. It shined a metallic light and looked quite sturdy, most importantly, it was huge for an egg, being nearly as tall as him. He blinked a few times, confirming that it wasn't just a hallucination caused by too much seawater before pointing directly at it. "I'm taking that big one." He said half blankly to no one in particular.

F71713AB-29B5-4334-B8A3-202078D2F9E2.jpegFleur looks at Leo and the mayor when he opens the door " we got a special delivery for you sir" she said as she looked at the man. Truth be told, the mayor looks quite young as she Expected to be. She was thinking of an old man with his hair white from all the reports and work coming in and out of his desk but what she can see today is really quite rare. When the mayor said about the package she watched as Leo put it down and followed Leo. She watched over the scene and thought of it twice " leo" she started " this feels so good to be true… are we really sure i'll get the eevee by just giving the mayor a box?" She told him " the mayor seem pleased with it and it doesn't seem worth a challenge" she said but then again she would have a free Eevee...

Pendragon Ember

It seems his choice was final. With the egg he chosen, he would make sure the pokemon egg would hatch and become a healthy and strong pokemon. Placing down his plate on a nearby table. Pendragon removed his backpack from his back and opened it up, sorting and moving things around to make room for the egg in the backpack until he can find a better time to hold it in his arms. Once things were sorted, he placed the light greenish egg within the backpack and zipped it up. Grabbing the plate from the table, he returned to Harmony, now realizing that the other trainers from the ferry had caught up as they themselves had picked up their eggs too. Though there seemed to be more trainers there than he realized.

The first one was the pink boy, whom he recalled had cannonballed into the pool in the ferry and drenching Pendragon, which of course, his clothes are still wet, though have dried up quite a bit. But it also seems that he was ditched after Harmony rushed to the daycare with Pendragon. Wonder if the giant anchor pokemon scared her that she rushed out of there.

The second one was the purple haired girl whom was also on the ferry, whom was resting under the shade with her pokemon. She picked up a rather ominous egg. One in which he could swear see some kind of foreboding mist coming out of it. If this is how ghost pokemon eggs look like, and that's assuming she is the ghost gym initiate, then that is pretty disturbing to Pendragon.

The third one was someone he hasn't met yet, whom seemed to got here recently and just picked out their egg. And according to the color of the egg, she could potentially be the dark gym initiate of the program. She also had some kind of small little rodent with a strange design on it. Looks menacing from here, but seems friendly.

And lastly, the boy with the floating anchor pokemon, the one who latched it and the trainer to the ferry and climbed up to the deck not too long ago. He introduced himself as Altair and his floating anchor pokemon, which was called a Dhelmise, was named Möbi. He looked to be a strong trainer, based off the dhelmise. And i'm sure he'll choose a egg that would be cool looking to...

...Did he just choose that giant egg beside of him?!

Now he has to wonder how he plans to carry that egg about the same size as him. Is he going to duct tape it to the dhelmise and let it move around like a floating baby stroller? Not even Pendragon wants to know how's he going to figure that out, but he would be lying if he said he was curious about that.

Of course, that only seemed to be a part of them here. And he was alright getting to know his fellow initiates and learning more about them. Pendragon moved forward to the group and gave his introduction. "Nice to meet you all. I'm Pendragon, dragon gym initiate. And this bagon on my shoulder is Jaws. I do have a Druddigon named Gluttony, but for the sake of not eating everything within a 100 yard radius and me having to pay for his appetite. He's resting within my pokeball." He finished with his short introduction, as he waited for the other trainers to introduced themselves, until Harmony asked about hatching the eggs.

And it seems we aren't getting an simple answer for it, only to look around and see for yourself. Welp, that blows. But since he's a dragon type initiate, he thinks that something with a high and deserted place would be a good idea to start. And surely enough, there's a mountain close by. Pendragon felt a sweat coming down. Don't tell me they expect me to climb this mountain and raise the egg there? He wasn't going to say no to a challenge, after all. He's climbed hills and mountains before, but nothing like this. But before he does anything, he'd rather see what the others might say first.

Aqrinal sneezed violently, startling herself awake. She blinked at the sky for a moment before turning over on to her side. "Oh." Her Corphish, Cor-Cor, was staring at her, his pinchers slowly opening and closing. "You're creepy." 'Cor, cor!' "Mmph." Aqri slowly sat up and yawned. She rubbed her eyes, wondering where she had fallen asleep this time. She turned to her trusty friend and the crab-like pokemon clicked his pinchers closed before pointing straight at the ocean then back at his trainer. A Horsea popped it's head out of the water and happily spit some water into the air.
"King's still training..." Aqri blinked at the bright sunlight and looked down at herself. Her white bikini was covered in sand and the button-down shirt that she rarely buttoned up and skirt she usually wore over them were taken over by a few Littens that had kept Aqri company while she trained her body last night. Aqri sneezed again before crawling over and gently poking the two Littens awake. They gently nipped at the girl's fingers before bouncing off into the bushes. Aqri smiled after them before her face felt tired again. "I feel like I forgot something a few days ago...Oh. I think it was the gym leader training thing..." Aqri slightly remembered the Professor's little pokemon coming and throwing a letter at her while she was swimming, then again one morning when she was just about to fall asleep. Her voice trailed off as her eyes caught sight of a Tropius snuffling at the edges of the bushes.
Her eyes stared at it intently without her realizing as she quite plainly thought about whether or not to battle it. "Mm...King, Bubble Beam." The happy Horsea rose up as majestically as the tiny Horsea could. He sucked in a bunch of water before unleashing it as bubbles at the suspicious Tropius. The Tropius made a strangled roar before dashing off into the bushes, it's footsteps thumping and making vibrations in the sand. "Oh. It ran..." 'Hor!' "Good boy, King." Cor-Cor scuttled up beside his trainer and nudged a pokeball into her hands. She looked down at it and tossed it at King who happily sprayed his trainer in water before going inside the pokeball. Aqri stared down at the Corphish who stared back up at her, silently daring her to make him go into his pokeball. The water-trainer shrugged with a sigh, standing up and slowly pulling her skirt and buttoned shirt on, opting to remain lazy and not button it closed.
Aqri dug her poke-belt out of her messenger bag and looped it around her waist, tucking King's pokeball and a few extras onto it. She closed her bag and slung it over her shoulder, loose sand scattering off of it. The dull-eyed female stared down at her Corphish for a good two minutes before the pokemon huffed out a breath and scuttled behind his trainer to get her going. Aqrinal yawned again, covering her mouth with a pale hand that never changed color despite being in the sun for hours.
Walking into Lunaville, Cor-Cor puffed out his tiny chest and muscled his way through the crowds, leaving his trainer to trail blindly after him. A few people gave small smiles at the tired girl with the over-sized Corphish, recognizing the odd pair as ones that often fell asleep somewhere. A small Poliwag ran into the girl's leg and immediatly darted off when the over-protective Corphish threatenly snapped his pinchers at it. A quiet 'tut-tut' from his trainer made the Corphish snap to attention and continue leading Aqri to the young Professor's office.
Once they reached the unrecognizable building, the Corphish reached up and tugged on his trainer's skirt, drawing her out of her trance. Aqri looked down at Cor-Cor and dug an oran berry out of her bag, digging past the small device that the Professor's bird thing had given her a few days ago and random bottles of drinks and berries, before couching down and giving it to the happy crab pokemon.

"Oh..The Professor isn't here right now." Aqri glanced around the building, noting the absence of the Professor and the half-hearted note scrawled on his desk. Her eyes slowly turned to the board outside the doors and she walked closer, inspecting the sheet with different names scrawled over it. She opened one of the flaps in her bag and pulled out a blue pen, shaking it a few times to get it to work. She signed her name 'Arqinal Lupaz' and put a small water symbol next to it. The professor would know what it meant. Aqri had been to him plenty of times when she was younger to ask him to check on her egg. "Let's check the docks Cor." 'Cor! Cor!'
Aqri yawned again, small tears building in her eyes. She blinked them away and followed her pokemon again as he led her to the docks, pushing through people and snagging a few snack along the way. She chewed on a sweet-bread, tossing small pieces to the bird pokemon that followed her through the streets. Her bare feet made almost no sound on the hot ground, and Aqri sighed. When they reached the docks, Aqri slumped on the Professor's back, closing her eyes and yawning. "Hiya Professor...I totally forgot about the gym leader thingy...What'd I miss?" Cor-Cor snapped his claws twice at the new green-haired kid, warning him away from his trainer. "Oh..new guy...hi." Aqri said rather bandly, unable to muster the energy to give a proper greeting to him.

Vincent turned, egg in hands as Harmony spoke to him again, "Ah that's alright." he chuckles, "Poogle maps to the rescue after all anyways." he points to his phone, which had directions to the daycare pulled up on it. He smiles, glancing around at the other trainers as Harmony hopped along tot the others, as he glances around he is surprised to see an egg as big as a person, and even more surprised to see a boy pick it- wait... was that the guy from the ship?? He of course, has to see this, so he immediately heads over, egg in arms, eevee in hood, and Lickylicky on his tail. "WOOOOAH that this it huge!" he exclaims looking at the eggs, putting his hand on it as he circles around it, "How do you plan on carrying it?" He asks, poking his head around the egg to look at Altair, before circling back to the boy, eager to hear more. "VEE!!' June seems to be equally curious. The eevee still appeared to be wet, as did Vince, who had his shoes hanging off his bag at this point., still only in his swim trunks and sweater.

Albert Layton
@Luelle @Mini
Albert was sitting there, absently rubbing Addy's.... head? as he waited for the boat, to worried that he's get lost finding the ticket booth to move. He glanced over at the young blonde boy when he approached him, pushing his glasses up, his eyes were a it red still fro his earlier crying. A ticket? Oh yes! He did need a ticket! "You would really give me you last ticket?" He asks, eyes already tearing up, he was not having a great day, so instead to properly accepting/thanking, he went straight into cry mode. Addy bounced in his lap, as if to cheer him up, or something. Albert smiled, getting Addy's message, rubbing her head he took a deep breath, whiling his eyes on his, still slightly soggy from Greg, and smiled. "Sorry." he breaths in, "Would you like money? I don't have much.. since I lost some of it," He chuckled rubbing the back of his head, "But I also have some special medical herbs, and berries I grew myself" He offers, "My homegrown berries are very healthy." he offers, puling out a small container with some very plump and healthy looking berries inside.. He didn't pull out his healing powder because only brought a few with him since it was so hard to make, and due to its rarity, it would be unlikely that he could make, or get any more until he went back home, he had a bunch of other home grown herbs as well but he had to make sure they stayed fresh.

Albert glances over as a girl he didn't recognized shows up, it seemed like she was another trainee as he greeted the professor on his way out. "Hello." He greets with smile, "You must be another trainee." he continues pleasantly.

The sounds of battle were loud in Arsenia's ear. She watched as her two pokemon fought in unison. Skrelp having known Oxie his entire life had learned how to fight with the other pokemon well. Oxie had to learn to adjust since it was a new experience for him, double battles that is. It was one of the many trainings Aunt Silvia had started for her.

With limited moves her pokemon had at the time, it was a straining process, and the 3 were getting worn out. "Skrelp use smokescreen! Oxie acid!" Arsenia called out in a breathy voice.

This was a new tactic she had created for the pair to use. Since Skrelp only had two moves, he was often used to allow for cover rather than attack. Oxie was both her offensive and defensive since he knew Acid and protect. Skrelp released a smokescreen, a quite impressive one as it was much thicker than his last attempt. Oxie took advantage of the smokescreen and ran at Ninetales. The pokemon helped as it was caught off guard when the acid hit.

The beautiful, alolan Ninetales shook out its glossy fur and looked at Oxie. The expression wasn't of anger, but it was rather impressed. The two were very different in power, which is why the move had hardly affected the fairy type. "Sylveon use swift on Skrelp!" Silvia called out from her shaded spot on the other end of their battle court.

Sylveon rushed the small Skrelp who had the Oh no expression as it quickly realized it was done. With one hit, the poor pokemon was out. Arsenia sighed knowing it would have happened eventually. She needed to train her pokemon to have more moves.

Silvia took a sip of her tea and stood from her chair. She approached Nona and Sylveon with a bright smile. "Good job today, you two. Go on inside and I will make you lunch," she said.

The two fairy types ran off excitedly into the house. She then approached her niece who was attending to Skrelp along with Oxie. "That combination was surprising. It seems your Skrelp is getting much stronger than it was," she praised.

Arsenia gave a soft smile at her aunt as she used the potion to heal Skrelp. "We've been working on strategy. At least until a new move is available to us," she responded.

Just then Nona appeared with a letter in her jaws. Silvia took it and patted the pokemon on the head. "Looks like mail came. It's from the professor," she said as she gave the letter to Arsenia.

She curiously took the letter and read it aloud. She then just stared at it in shock. So it finally happened. Oxie looked at her as if to say, I'm ready! Skrelp, well, he was still asleep. He needed the rest. With a nervous smile, "I'm going."

She then stood and scooped up Skrelp as Oxie jumped onto her shoulder. She began to walk away towards town when Silvia's sharp tone stopped her. "Not before eating you wont!"

After a good meal, and a laugh as food had put the spring back in Skrelp, Arsenia was off. Oxie propped on her shoulders like a child would its parents and Skrelp being carried in her arms. She reached the lab much later than the others and she stood frozen as from a distance she saw the large crowd of kids gathered.

It was then she was glad she had put her hood up before Oxie had gotten on her shoulders. She was still self conscious about her pink skirt and black leggings that was showing off her legs a bit. Mostly she just wasn't sure she could handle the group. She knew it said she would have to meet them, but so soon?

She took a deep, shaky breath, and strode forward, keeping her head down. When she was finally close enough to the others to be noticed, she quickly searched for a bit of shadow to hide in. She didn't want anyone to ask her questions, she was way too scared for that.

Oxie and Skrelp just kept still. They knew moving might cause her to stress more, she worried they would fall. She glanced around until she found a place on the side of the building. It didn't seem to have been noticed by the others yet so that's where she headed as quietly as she could. Once the professor appeared, she was the only one not making a comment. She waited until the last person had signed the short before approaching it herself. She wasn't one for these gatherings at all.

She managed to stick around a bit that day, but she left before anyone tried to speak to her. She would talk to the professor herself when there wasn't too many people around. She just couldn't handle being near large groups. She hoped to grow out of it as her awkward teen years faded away. The rest of the night she spent in her room, kicking herself for not trying to speak to someone.

She couldn't focus on that now. As her first assignment had come up. It was an easy one in her opinion even if her tr wo pokemon didn't have many attack moves. She went out into the designated wild area and was careful in her selection. She knew poison types enough to find them a bit easier. She did encounter a few other wild pokemon, mostly grass types or normal types, until she settled on an Ekans. It was certainly an interesting pokemon. She decided Skrelp was her best choice because he needed to get more experience. Surprisingly, he did manage to faint Ekans and allow her to catch it.

When she presented the catch she decided no to keep it. She had a lot of thinking to do when it came to getting another pokemon. She went home, again without trying to make contact with anyone. She wasn't ready yet since everyone else seemed to be super energetic and excited about meeting each other.

Then she received her second assignment: hatching a pokemon. That could be difficult but she had done it once before. That thought is what brought her and her partners, Oxie and Skrelp, to the gates of the farm that would give her the egg to complete this step. She was very anxious and excited because she couldn't wait to see what they offered her.

The camp was quite peaceful as Troy finished setting up. Sitting down he had just finished setting up his tent when Nova nearly immediately placed her head on his lap and curled around him. Chuckling softly the seasoned trainer gently pet around her hearing crest structures and her crest. starting a soothing habit they had wordlessly agreed on when the group wasn't moving. The group itself had fun adventuring the region so far. Looking over he spotted the Garchomp curled around a Salazzle. The pair being close and often found by one another. Though he knew Morzan wouldn't tolerate Sazza's antics if it interrupted his nap. Listening he could only smile as he heard the splashing of water "They are still playing Nova. How Bubbles has that much energy to play but not in a battle is surprising to me" The travel here had been an interesting one.

He had seen the Governess's address and thankfully his Pokemon were in their pokeballs for that. he was sure none of them would have liked the gal. And they had cataloged several pokemon Troy had never seen before. Plus he got to train them even more and spend much needed time away from the duties of the elite four. Leaning against the tree he was next to he looked over to the second tent "Zaz, can you check on him" Without a word the Alakazam floated off the ground where he meditated and approached the tent.

Troy was no doctor but he had enough training to help one in need and stabilize them. Once done Zaz turned and nodded pointing to the injured leg the lad had. He noticed scarring and guessed it from a previous injury. So he couldn't put everything on the cave in "Thank's Zaz" The Alakazam seemed to glow with joy at the thanks then floated back to his spot among flowers and enter meditation. Troy sighed looking at the tent "Lad pull through. We got you out. Now ya just need to wake up"

Everything was black. Thats all he remembered. He remembered Altair and others he was traveling with. He went in for another look and......black. Leon was in a turbulent sleep. His mind trying to piece together what had happened. He remembered, Brass was there. Helping. Rocks were everywhere. Cave in? Had to be, everything shook a bit and he fell. He didn't know if the others heard. He didn't know how far he had went in alone. What happened with Gem?

His mind went through another troubled frenzy as it focused on the pokemon. Gem helped protect me. His mind barely making out the last few images of his memory before blacking out. Gem used Smack down but instead of hitting anything made the slab make a small triangle tent over him. Then his mind went blank again. Soon he was panicking and then he heard bird pokemon singing and calling. His mind quickly devoured the new information and he slowly opened his eyes realizing there was light.

He looked up finding a decent tent set up around him. A splint set up on his bad leg and he smiled seeing two familiar pokemon. Brass was nesstled under his right arm on the floor and Gem used the crook of his armpit as a resting spot. Smiling he slowly spoke "Hey there you two. You two look better than me i hope" They awoke in a start and immediately started to call and cheer happily.

Being to focused on both loving on the two rock types and trying to stop them from crushing him further he hadn't noticed the older man enter the tent. He saw a small smile of relief on his features as he sat by the bed "Gave a good scare lad. How do you feel?" Leon tried to move but groaned as his muscles were weak "Like i was smacked with a boulder" The man chuckled as he tended to the things around the tent "You aren't far off lad. Once you got some strength back we can head for the nearest center to get you some help. I think it would hurt you more than help ya if we moved now" Leon gave a small nod then placed his head on the folded jacket he was given as a pillow "Got a name i can use? I am sure you calling me Lad and me maybe calling you oldi won't last long" The man chuckled near open laughing at the comment "Troy, but i may just call you lad by habit. And your name is?" Leon smiled at him "Leon, nice to meet ya oldi" Troy smiled at the young mans character then stood up "Get some rest. Will be back in a bit" He then turned and exited the tent letting Leon's Pokemon keep him company.

The Lagoon at Happy Eggs Daycare

"You sure can. What was your name?" Mermella gave Hathor and her little Morpeko a kind smile. She handed the glamorous girl the jet black egg with the teal speckles. "I'm curious to see this one hatch." She noted, before proceeding to help the other trainees with their egg selections.

"Woww." Mermella stepped back to take in the sight of the giant Dhelmise that hovered over with a new trainee. "Now that's interesting." She walked up to them sporting a gigantic smile. "Welcome Möbi, and Altair? That's a name I don't hear often." She said to him with a friendly wink.

"Well then, your Dhelmise will have a field day here at the center." Mermella nodded over the size issue, and knew the perfect fit until Altair found it himself. "That's just the one I was thinking of." Mermella chuckled, giving her blessing.

"My, my." Rod walked beside his wife to witness the towering ghost. "I didn't think I'd ever see you in the light of day. How'd he manage to lure you out of your cave?" Rodney asked the ghostly seaweed with it's prized anchor. "So that's the "spooky" cave dweller you told me about." Mermella teased.

"Oh my gosh, look how big!" Harmony said to Eev and Oricio, noticing the gigantic metallic-like egg. Eeee.... Eev just stared in disbelief while Oricio was more interested in pecking at her sunny locks. "Its them!" She noticed the boy and his anchor and ran over to them.

"Sorry for my reaction from before! I've never seen a ghost Pokemon so... humongous." Harmony blushed to Altair. "I'm Harmony." Harmony greeted him. "Say hi, Eev and Oricio!" Harmony beamed. Rii? Oricio looked up and then went back to pecking her hair. Eev! Her eevee greeted.

"Yes, she needs the right trainer to help strengthen her to become her very best." Nelle told Wolf with Stufful hanging comfortably from her arms. "A Stufful for your team?" She noticed the fighting types by his side. "You're the fighting type trainee. My name's Nelle." Nelle noted with a small smile.

"You might just be who Stufful needs." Nelle looked down at the little pink bear in her arms with no expression. "Ok, Wolf. Come back to me when you hatch your egg and I'll decide then if you are the right fit for Stufful." She decided. Her violet eyes diverting to a new presence.

"Hi. I imagine you're here for the trainee assignment as well?" She said to Arsenia with a neutral face. "I'll take you both to the others." She said to her and Wolf, leading them inside and out to the lagoon where the others awaited.

"Not much money?" Lynus blinked at Albert and while the older, broke trainee went on to introduce his homegrown berries, Lynus readily slipped away. Meanwhile, the Professor had just been saying his goodbyes to Albert when he suddenly felt a force lean against him.

"Aqri? I was wondering when you'd show up." He offered a gentle smile to her. "You missed the first assignment, but it seems that you've caught up." Rylund eyeing her horsea. "I see Cor-Cor has made a new friend." He noted. "The second assignment is held at Happy Eggs."

"I'm glad you're here now, Aqri. Maybe you can show Albert here the way to the daycare center. The ferry should be arriving shortly."
Professor Rylund reminded them. Auuuu. Tito, the amaura with the floppy hat traveling with the Professor was ready for shopping.

"I better get going. I told Tito that we would do some much needed shopping today...and he treats his shopping very seriously." Rylund explained to them. "Good luck to you both on the assignment."
