"Ahh! This is just like the betrayals in Running Man!" Gary yelled in confusion.

He went over to the other people and found Hajime.

"Listen, I'm sorry that I eliminated you. I just.... Didn't know what to do."

Hajime simply stared at Gary for a moment, silently judging the man for his act. His hand slowly drew his blade once again, his grip tightening on the handle. With purposeful steps, he approached Gary with anger growing within him.

"We'll discuss this later," He passed by the man without striking out at him, instead focusing on Aku, "We have more important things right now."

Those who had gained a weapon from the forest each felt the presense of a warior guiding their motions from here on; Kyon felt the presense of an powerfull Samurai warrior, who's name had long since been lost in time... Various techniques and movements he had never learned before were suddenly very familiar to him to say the least, it looked like he might be able to hold his own now with skills like these, if Kyon could learn how to use his newfound abilities properly.... Yukio felt a more powerfull, but, controlled presense within, with this power came an incessant need to keep her distance after each strike, and draw power from Aku himself given the chance... It was as if suddenly various techniques and strategies she had never learned before had suddenly become almost "natural" for her to use in battle, but, how Yukio would find that it was she who had to take the first step, after all, these abilities are nothing without a proper weilder. Jinx felt an almost animalistic presense within her, it provided her the strength to lift the heavy weapon, and she suddenly became familiar with the strategy that it's previous weilder had used to weild it, with elegant sweeping motions... Dazzling and cutting away at their foe; Aku, but, it was Jinx herself who had to make these movements in order to successfully weild these newfound powers... Hajime felt the presense of a less powerfull warrior, but, the rays of light shining down on the weapon revealed it's other usage, though no symbols flashed upon Aku's body yet, it was almost certain that this weapon would come in handy later... Though, now, he was familiar with various stunts, well, namely involving climbing atop large towering beases, and, this Aku character seemed like a potential candidate for such a thing...

Karol and Speirs felt a primal, but, powerfull magic flowing through their veins; they felt the need to concentrate on a target in order to properly utilize these spells, though, who knew what over-use of such things might do to their bodies if they weren't carefull...

It was then that his eyes suddenly lit up and produced two distinct laser beams that headed towards the entire ground standing before him, it looked like he aimed to vaporize his opposition, but, the beams were moving slow enough to avoid, though, chances are, this creature had alot more in store than just this...​

Cecil looked at the beams. "Reflect!" He shouted. He raised his hand to the sky, and his crystals began shining. A magic barrier formed around him. Cecil stood with Lightbringer in a combat position. "Silence!" He shouted, hoping to seal Aku's power, at least temporarily.

Wednesday couldn't put a figure on it at the moment but Aku reminded her of some cartoon. Not Disney but another perhaps Nickelodeon or Cartoonnetwork? Maybe even Boomarang. The exact name of the show slipped her mind and she sighed once more readying the bow being she missed when she aimed before hitting a near by tree to her. This time would be different for the first was practice. Now was the actual try.

Smirking and exuding a strange sort of confidence in himself, Hajime watched as the laser beams approached at a crawl, easily avoided. Just watch for a secondary defense, Hajime. That heart almost got you with those missiles, so don't get cocky! "Everyone, move!" He yelled the order before doing so himself, sword seemingly humming with energy. Out of the beams' paths, he surged forward for a swipe at Aku's side. Swipe and bolt, swipe and bolt, swipe and bolt...

Yukine was hurt that she was a traitor, but also understood the situation. To an extent.

"Yukio...people do things like this all the time, but you...you were pretty much controlled so I am able to forgive you. I won't let you be punished or anything like that and I would never want to end a person's life." He added.

Yato looked to the blonde.

"We should help the others fight, Sekki." He said. Once he felt the familiar weight of his katana in his hand he'd turn to Yukio.

"I don't like killing humans, but you have the choice to fight with us or against us and I doubt you'd go against us..." The god said in a flat tone. Even though he didn't finish out loud his glowing blue eyes said the rest. That he wouldn't hesitate to cut Yukio down if she so wished or became their enemy.

"Keep your blade sharp Yukine, never dull." Yato said in a quieter tone.

"Got it." Yukine muttered.

Most if not all of Yato's anger was toward Aku though, so the god decided to preform Rend to either end him of weaken him greatly, if it hit or worked at all that is. So, with a powerful jump Yato would fly towards Aku and attempt one of his powerful attacks.

Whether this attack worked on Aku or not, Yato would land right next to Yukio in a crouch. Waiting for another opportunity to attack.

"You know me well by now, Yukine," Yukio replied to him, "I would not side with the one who would want us all dead, and who was cowardly enough to manipulate others to do his evil work."

She then looked towards Aku.

The attacks were not seeming to have an effect on him, and they were considerably more high powered than anything she could do, so she thought. What could she do?

Those beams from Aku were more than she could really defend against. She avoided them, while keeping a watch on Yukine, as well as Yato. She didn't need to tell them what to do. They were gods, after all. And she knew this wasn't their first time to face such a foe. For Yukio, possibly, it was, though.

She looked towards Aku. If she could somehow get closer to him, would she have a chance? She wondered, but she wanted to take that chance.

Okay, whoa. Whoa, this was trippy as all hell.

He felt a strange adrenaline rush unlike anything he had ever felt before. He felt the power of Muramuse flowing through him! He could feel the speed of Sasaki Kojirou power him up! The courage of Toyotomi Hideyoshi! The strength of Nobunaga Oda! And other samurai whom he actually learned about in History class!

Yeah, he didn't know what he was actually talking about.

But still, either way, he felt good. He felt strong.

Compared to other humans of course. Dunno how about compared to say, Aku, but whatever.

Either way, yeah. He was on it. Though Kyon certainly didn't feel like himself at the moment, that didn't matter. No weird demon lord was gonna keep him from going home!

The laser beams out of nowhere, though intimidating, didn't seem to be too bad. Running towards Aku while evading the lasers, he would go to Aku's other side while Hajime handled the other, swinging his sword.

If only Haruhi could see me now...!

"...Whoa." She exclaimed. It was hard to explain, even if only to herself. An innate sense of change deep inside. A more fierce and feral feeling emanating within, a wild presence of instinct and savagery. It fit right in, within her. A home away from home down there. After all, intellect alone was nothing. If one could not find it in themselves to break a rule, how would it be possible to expect that same individual to break bone?

It wouldn't be possible.

And on the plus side, even though her arms did not change a single microscopic bit, she found herself equipped with newfound strength allowing her to easily wield the weapon. Alongside the stratagems of the previous owner... "Hee hee hee. If that was true, why pout so desperately?" She didn't pause to wait for an answer, dashing off into one of the ruined, taller buildings nearby...and up and up and up with her own increased speed and the animal presence...and once high enough, jumping through one of the shattered windows, holding the sword over her head in a double handed stance...before slicing down and across, aiming for the face to cut out those silly eyes.

A bit frustrated that their combined efforts didn't go anywhere the first time, Alex stared down the enemy.

He realized, after some thought, in his rush to attack, he forgot to use the device. The chest plate, which would channel his plasma blasts and focus its aim and energy on a smaller, more accurate path. He quickly reached for it and strapped it on.

"Stand back!", he yelled to the others around him, as he let a blast loose.

He wished Katara were here, instead of back in the cabin. But, it was something he was used to... like Raven Darkholme, he wished they were still part of the same team, but it wasn't in the cards. He couldn't help thinking about Katara though, and his memories of her and their time together gave him focus.

Operation emotional bonding session had been cool and all, but the evening beyond that had ultimately just been a blur. His friends had been cleared (even if he had no hand in it) and Karol couldn't have been happier. He was so totally pumped for whatever the next day held, that he had been barely able to sleep the night before. At least it meant no naked nightmares.

Even without much rest, Karol was eager to get on the bus waiting for them the next morning with his bag of candy in hand. It totally sucked that he wasn't been able to find Ulyana in the morning to thank her, and Karol felt concerned with her disappearance. When it seemed there wasn't much to do about it, Karol had resigned himself to staying on the bus and following this trip to its eventual conclusion. Though it had felt a lot longer, it occurred to him his time in the camp had only just been a week. It seemed strange that he'd bonded with Gaara to such a degree in such a relatively small amount of time, but that just left Karol assured that their bond was totally meant to be.

Of course, the trip wasn't completely over. When the carriage began to fade away and Karol found himself standing in what appeared to be ancient ruins along with the others, he knew that it was at the very least the beginning of the end.

... We're not on Terca'Lumireis any more. You can't trust anybody. Not here.

Rita's voice still echoed inside his head, but Karol knew it hadn't really been Rita's voice. It'd just been Karol's own scared and lonely thoughts. Some of the people here were weird, sure, and he hadn't gotten to know most of them like he had Gaara, but he knew a lot of them were just people unfortunate enough to be trapped here. Karol held no hard feelings for those who were controlled, and he would fight for their sake just as much as he would fight for his own.

"Brave Vesperia is on the job!" Karol bellowed, feeling a strange power suddenly run through his body. He watched as the others danced and flashed around the demon that had orchestrated this event, eager to add to the beat down. Perhaps it was the sight of seeing such awe inspiring attacks, or perhaps it was that strange spell book that he'd read earlier, but Karol was ready to rip right through this terrible monster. Pointing forward, Karol felt the energy bubbling from his core, running through his body to coalesce at the tip of his finger.

"Super Ultra Max Breaker Karol Capel, with the backing of all his friends and Brave Vesperia, is going to deliver a decisive blow against you, demon!"

Earlier, when Beowulf had been taken away during the middle of their conversation, Asakura felt herself even less motivated than before. She didn't rejoin the others for any of the activities, even upon hearing that a bus would be arriving soon to pick them up. Even if she borded, there was nowhere for it to take her. The moment she returned home, Asakura's superiors would send her back for her long awaited punishment. The alien girl knew that would really put a damaged in her day.

So, instead of visiting with the others while waiting for the bus, Asakura went back to her cabin--which she had all to herself now. Hank had been a bit annoying at times, but at least he was entertaining and someone to talk to even if he didn't always make sense. Asakura sighed and laid upon her bed, still using the bottom bunk as if to respect Hank's wish to keep the top one--even with him no longer around. Jeez, this day was really turning out to be a rotten one for Asakura...

The next day, when everyone borded the bus and headed out, Asakura was surprised by the enemy they had to face. It appeared as if the group's struggle wasn't over just yet. So what was she going to do about it?

Honstly, Asakura wanted to help fight the creature, but apparently she had missed out on an opportunity to gain weapons to fight with. And with limited power within this space, it wasn't as if she had th ability to conjure one up. It looked like, yet again, she would be standing on the sidelines.

"Good luck, humans. I'll be counting on you all," she said with a giggle. "But, you know, with people like Kyon fighting for us we might all be done for. Wouldn't that be nice? For all of us to die? Those beams from Aku were more than she could really defend against. She avoided them, while keeping a watch on Yukine, as well as Yato. She didn't need to tell them what to do. They were gods, after all. And she knew this wasn't their first time to face such a foe. For Yukio, possibly, it was, though.

She looked towards Aku. If she could somehow get closer to him, would she have a chance? She wondered, but she wanted to take that chance.

Those who had gained a weapon from the forest each felt the presense of a warior guiding their motions from here on; Kyon felt the presense of an powerfull Samurai warrior, who's name had long since been lost in time... Various techniques and movements he had never learned before were suddenly very familiar to him to say the least, it looked like he might be able to hold his own now with skills like these, if Kyon could learn how to use his newfound abilities properly.... Yukio felt a more powerfull, but, controlled presense within, with this power came an incessant need to keep her distance after each strike, and draw power from Aku himself given the chance... It was as if suddenly various techniques and strategies she had never learned before had suddenly become almost "natural" for her to use in battle, but, how Yukio would find that it was she who had to take the first step, after all, these abilities are nothing without a proper weilder. Jinx felt an almost animalistic presense within her, it provided her the strength to lift the heavy weapon, and she suddenly became familiar with the strategy that it's previous weilder had used to weild it, with elegant sweeping motions... Dazzling and cutting away at their foe; Aku, but, it was Jinx herself who had to make these movements in order to successfully weild these newfound powers... Hajime felt the presense of a less powerfull warrior, but, the rays of light shining down on the weapon revealed it's other usage, though no symbols flashed upon Aku's body yet, it was almost certain that this weapon would come in handy later... Though, now, he was familiar with various stunts, well, namely involving climbing atop large towering beases, and, this Aku character seemed like a potential candidate for such a thing...

Karol and Speirs felt a primal, but, powerfull magic flowing through their veins; they felt the need to concentrate on a target in order to properly utilize these spells, though, who knew what over-use of such things might do to their bodies if they weren't carefull...

"You fools! Nothing can harm the great and mighty Aku!" Aku shouted, it looked like he might actually be bluffing a bit though "Now, I shall dispose of all of you!" he declared... It was then that his eyes suddenly lit up and produced two distinct laser beams that headed towards the entire ground standing before him, it looked like he aimed to vaporize his opposition, but, the beams were moving slow enough to avoid, though, chances are, this creature had alot more in store than just this...​

Yato avoided the lasers easily and sighed. Seems like Rend didn't work so well this time either.

He needed to get himself together it seemed.

Lasers meant bad news. Kitty quickly grabbed Yellow and flew out of the way while the other pokemon scrambled to dodge as well.

"Did none of our attacks have any effect?" she wondered aloud. Maybe, maybe not. But until she knew for sure or couldn't fight anymore, she couldn't just back down and let all the others do the work for her.

If she couldn't hurt him, maybe she could distract him.

"Chuchu, Flash! Omny, Blizzard! Dody, Whirlwind!"

Damage may not be the way to go, so she tried to blind him and slow him down instead with the next attacks.

"I'm going to help too! My Miracle Mallet's all charged up again!" Sukuna yelled out as she was in her normal human size again. The artifact in her hands emitting a magic power as she readied herself with the best spells she could use in this situation. While it was weird that both Sukuna and Neo weren't in the greatest states of mind earlier due to the Miracle Mallet's effects while charging, they were fine as of now.

"Oni-Slaying, Eye-Stabbing Needle!"

Magically manifested knives appeared around Sukuna and with a snap of her fingers, she launched the projectiles towards Aku. Since it did have the word "oni-slaying" in the spell name, maybe it should do the trick?

During the fight and all, Neo just sat back and watched the show. She already did her part on playing the role as one of the Chosen. Clearly out of the two of them, Neo was certain that she was the more capable one than Sukuna on the task, and she even guessed on the possible traitors while working with the other Chosen in the shadows. Sooo... it was just smooth sailing for her until the others took care of this Aku problem. Surely enough, she wasn't going to waste her stamina on something that even her Semblance couldn't take care of.

Cecil looked at the beams. "Reflect!" He shouted. He raised his hand to the sky, and his crystals began shining. A magic barrier formed around him. Cecil stood with Lightbringer in a combat position. "Silence!" He shouted, hoping to seal Aku's power, at least temporarily.

Wednesday couldn't put a figure on it at the moment but Aku reminded her of some cartoon. Not Disney but another perhaps Nickelodeon or Cartoonnetwork? Maybe even Boomarang. The exact name of the show slipped her mind and she sighed once more readying the bow being she missed when she aimed before hitting a near by tree to her. This time would be different for the first was practice. Now was the actual try.

Smirking and exuding a strange sort of confidence in himself, Hajime watched as the laser beams approached at a crawl, easily avoided. Just watch for a secondary defense, Hajime. That heart almost got you with those missiles, so don't get cocky! "Everyone, move!" He yelled the order before doing so himself, sword seemingly humming with energy. Out of the beams' paths, he surged forward for a swipe at Aku's side. Swipe and bolt, swipe and bolt, swipe and bolt...

Gary quickly dodged the beams, moving fast.

"Yah if that's all you got, I wonder how your girlfriend thinks about you!"

Speaking of girlfriends, how was Jihyo doing, Gary wondered.

She then looked towards Aku.

The attacks were not seeming to have an effect on him, and they were considerably more high powered than anything she could do, so she thought. What could she do?

Okay, whoa. Whoa, this was trippy as all hell.

He felt a strange adrenaline rush unlike anything he had ever felt before. He felt the power of Muramuse flowing through him! He could feel the speed of Sasaki Kojirou power him up! The courage of Toyotomi Hideyoshi! The strength of Nobunaga Oda! And other samurai whom he actually learned about in History class!

Yeah, he didn't know what he was actually talking about.

But still, either way, he felt good. He felt strong.

Compared to other humans of course. Dunno how about compared to say, Aku, but whatever.

Either way, yeah. He was on it. Though Kyon certainly didn't feel like himself at the moment, that didn't matter. No weird demon lord was gonna keep him from going home!

The laser beams out of nowhere, though intimidating, didn't seem to be too bad. Running towards Aku while evading the lasers, he would go to Aku's other side while Hajime handled the other, swinging his sword.

If only Haruhi could see me now...!

"...Whoa." She exclaimed. It was hard to explain, even if only to herself. An innate sense of change deep inside. A more fierce and feral feeling emanating within, a wild presence of instinct and savagery. It fit right in, within her. A home away from home down there. After all, intellect alone was nothing. If one could not find it in themselves to break a rule, how would it be possible to expect that same individual to break bone?

It wouldn't be possible.

And on the plus side, even though her arms did not change a single microscopic bit, she found herself equipped with newfound strength allowing her to easily wield the weapon. Alongside the stratagems of the previous owner... "Hee hee hee. If that was true, why pout so desperately?" She didn't pause to wait for an answer, dashing off into one of the ruined, taller buildings nearby...and up and up and up with her own increased speed and the animal presence...and once high enough, jumping through one of the shattered windows, holding the sword over her head in a double handed stance...before slicing down and across, aiming for the face to cut out those silly eyes.

A bit frustrated that their combined efforts didn't go anywhere the first time, Alex stared down the enemy.

He realized, after some thought, in his rush to attack, he forgot to use the device. The chest plate, which would channel his plasma blasts and focus its aim and energy on a smaller, more accurate path. He quickly reached for it and strapped it on.

"Stand back!", he yelled to the others around him, as he let a blast loose.

He wished Katara were here, instead of back in the cabin. But, it was something he was used to... like Raven Darkholme, he wished they were still part of the same team, but it wasn't in the cards. He couldn't help thinking about Katara though, and his memories of her and their time together gave him focus.

Operation emotional bonding session had been cool and all, but the evening beyond that had ultimately just been a blur. His friends had been cleared (even if he had no hand in it) and Karol couldn't have been happier. He was so totally pumped for whatever the next day held, that he had been barely able to sleep the night before. At least it meant no naked nightmares.

Even without much rest, Karol was eager to get on the bus waiting for them the next morning with his bag of candy in hand. It totally sucked that he wasn't been able to find Ulyana in the morning to thank her, and Karol felt concerned with her disappearance. When it seemed there wasn't much to do about it, Karol had resigned himself to staying on the bus and following this trip to its eventual conclusion. Though it had felt a lot longer, it occurred to him his time in the camp had only just been a week. It seemed strange that he'd bonded with Gaara to such a degree in such a relatively small amount of time, but that just left Karol assured that their bond was totally meant to be.

Of course, the trip wasn't completely over. When the carriage began to fade away and Karol found himself standing in what appeared to be ancient ruins along with the others, he knew that it was at the very least the beginning of the end.

... We're not on Terca'Lumireis any more. You can't trust anybody. Not here.

Rita's voice still echoed inside his head, but Karol knew it hadn't really been Rita's voice. It'd just been Karol's own scared and lonely thoughts. Some of the people here were weird, sure, and he hadn't gotten to know most of them like he had Gaara, but he knew a lot of them were just people unfortunate enough to be trapped here. Karol held no hard feelings for those who were controlled, and he would fight for their sake just as much as he would fight for his own.

"Brave Vesperia is on the job!" Karol bellowed, feeling a strange power suddenly run through his body. He watched as the others danced and flashed around the demon that had orchestrated this event, eager to add to the beat down. Perhaps it was the sight of seeing such awe inspiring attacks, or perhaps it was that strange spell book that he'd read earlier, but Karol was ready to rip right through this terrible monster. Pointing forward, Karol felt the energy bubbling from his core, running through his body to coalesce at the tip of his finger.

"Super Ultra Max Breaker Karol Capel, with the backing of all his friends and Brave Vesperia, is going to deliver a decisive blow against you, demon!"

Earlier, when Beowulf had been taken away during the middle of their conversation, Asakura felt herself even less motivated than before. She didn't rejoin the others for any of the activities, even upon hearing that a bus would be arriving soon to pick them up. Even if she borded, there was nowhere for it to take her. The moment she returned home, Asakura's superiors would send her back for her long awaited punishment. The alien girl knew that would really put a damaged in her day.

So, instead of visiting with the others while waiting for the bus, Asakura went back to her cabin--which she had all to herself now. Hank had been a bit annoying at times, but at least he was entertaining and someone to talk to even if he didn't always make sense. Asakura sighed and laid upon her bed, still using the bottom bunk as if to respect Hank's wish to keep the top one--even with him no longer around. Jeez, this day was really turning out to be a rotten one for Asakura...

The next day, when everyone borded the bus and headed out, Asakura was surprised by the enemy they had to face. It appeared as if the group's struggle wasn't over just yet. So what was she going to do about it?

Honstly, Asakura wanted to help fight the creature, but apparently she had missed out on an opportunity to gain weapons to fight with. And with limited power within this space, it wasn't as if she had th ability to conjure one up. It looked like, yet again, she would be standing on the sidelines.

"Good luck, humans. I'll be counting on you all," she said with a giggle. "But, you know, with people like Kyon fighting for us we might all be done for. Wouldn't that be nice? For all of us to die? We'd just be a few more organic life forms fading to dust. It's really a poetic thought," she added, speaking to nobody in particular.

Aku was hit over, and over, and over and over... Fortunately his lazers had missed the entirety of the group as he was unable to maintain his aim, and, the magic based attacks, along with a thin, strong laster being produced by Karol along with the various blows he was receiving from Kyon, Jinx, and even Hajime caused the shadowy essense on him to burn away... Causing him to scream in anger.

"NYAAAAAGH! FOOOLS! Even if you possess the power to hurt me.... You'll feel the full wrath of my power!!!" Aku shouted, despite being flattened and peppered with countless holes, and broken up in many places, the shadowy essense that was part of his very "body" of sorts clumped together again and started to shift... His entire body became one immense blob, but, then, eight spiny legs emerged before he became a whole other creature entirely...

He had become a massive spider creature, and... This time, he didn't hesitate to unleash a torrent of fire as he headed right towards Sukuna, and any other people near her... It looked like he was trying to kill her off first as she had peppered his body with multiple holes from her attack... A massive wave of fire surrounded him, but, the light it provided reflected off of Hajime's sword, which revealed a large symbol of some sort right on "Spider-Aku's" underbelly... An undefended area that could easily be exploited probably...​
