  While everyone conversed, Miku took to looking around, watching folks around her take a much needed downtime before things started back up again. As Blake approached, her attention turned to him.
  

  

  
  "So far I think I'm okay..." She trailed off, seeming to zone out for a moment as she ran internal checks on herself. Everything seemed to be in order, for the time being. "If there's any negative side-effects, I haven't noticed them yet." A nod. "I'll probably still need a proper "sleep" at one point, to get my batteries up to 100% percent..." She glanced at everyone around her. "Just like how everyone here is going to need to sleep eventually."

  Blake immediately explained that he meant that he had lingering feelings of love due to some past event. He didn't have anything else to say other than mentioning it.
  
  "When the time comes for that, I'll seal the deal off with a kiss for that special someone. It's a cruel fate to be without a significant other. Well... I know someone would disagree with me and that statement, but she isn't around so..."

  Miku's gaze focusing on Blake's laser-induced injuries, she reached her hand out to briefly run her fingers down his grazed arm, if he'd allow her to. "That must have hurt." She noted. Retracting her hand back, she looked at her fingers, as if expecting to find something staining them. She shook her head. "We should all try and be more careful from now on, eh?"
  

  

  
  She looked at everyone in their little group. "We can't be having anyone, you know... Dying on us and stuff, right?" If only she knew.

  Blake wasn't sure on how else to word it, but he saw no reason to hide it for any longer. Surely by saying this, it would ease some worries for others that were aiming those worries onto him.

  Blake gave a gentle smile over at Miku, reassuring her that nothing bad would happen. He didn't see any possibility of any more deaths. They were all working together with the chance to fight back against Umbrella and to finally return home. If they worked together, there was no worries on the worse to come... Such an optimistic view for someone like Blake.

Jason would simply role his eyes before tapping some things on his gauntlet. The lights on his visor would then light up, and what appeared to be a video of some sort would play on the integrated display in front of them.

When it was over, Jason would simply pick up the visor and place it beside him.

Nick Fury eyed Jason and said, "You're thinking ahead. I like that, but you need to understand that getting to the vault will not be an easy feat. Opening the vault will be the easy part. If Umbrella has any sense, and they seemed to have displayed some, the elevator to the lower floors won't be in service. You'll need to take the alternative means and at some point... you will be noticed. Their connection to the chips in your head has been cut and so they will know right away they aren't working correctly once they see you. Whether that means they'll want to kill you or capture you all over again is not something I can say."

The man closed his one eye, thinking for a moment. "... Chances are, they'll turn their viruses on you. They might think you're more useful as infected pawns." He opened his eye and nodded to Jinx. "At that point, sticking a fire up their ass might be good for you."

An theoretically infinite source of power...

Perhaps the Tesseract's potential wasn't too far off from what the Mammon Machine could have been capable of... Granted it drew power from a much darker source.

In either case, from what she had heard about that organization, she knew that Umbrella couldn't possibly intend to use this tesseract for any mundane purpose. Considering their already prominent use of pathogens to achieve their means, it frightened her to think of what monstrosities could be spawned if the Tesseract's power was able to be harnessed in the right way...

It seemed that she had little choice, but to join the cause; she didn't want to fight, but she knew the risks of standing idle as things went south. SHIELD had done her quite the favor after all, and well... Perhaps this was as good a time as any, to put her differences aside for the time being, and take back the tesseract before another disaster could be wrought.

One Ocean Palace incident was more than enough for her...

Perhaps, she was mere moments from death... Or from enslavement of some sort once more, but all the same... For once in her life, it was her choice, and hers alone (for the most part) to partake in this.​

Twisted Fate would have a neutral expression and an eyebrow raised as the video played. Where he was from, there was no such thing as videos. The video itself along with what was happening in the video perplexed him at the same time.

His smile slowly came back as the odd piece of technology was no longer playing a video.

"Well, anyways, there's quite a difference between me and him. He's got mental problems, and I simply have a habit of taking large risks. I don't see anything wrong with having a mastery over taking chances."

He sighed and put his hat lower to partially cover his eyes. At the same time, his face went neutral.

"I ain't an ordinary gambler. I've got other forces at work."

It was the only kiss I've ever had," she admitted, shrugging her shoulders. "Anyhow, I guess you'll just have to show me how persistent you are. Only persistent though, not forceful or by surprise. Like I said, I will slap you if things get too far," she said with a laugh. The fact that Blake and Joshua had been flirting with her was actually a bit... fun. Senna never had gotten the chance to flirt or play around like a normal young woman her age. It felt nice to seem normal, if only for a short moment.

I guess I am quite the wily trickster when it comes to ladies such as you~" Joshua countered with his own smirk, a smirk that only grew wider as he grew a little bolder, "And besides, if you didn't enjoy it, then why do it? As soon as Jinx finished her threats, Twisted Fate threw a blank card in the blink of an eye. It whizzed by her ear and impaled itself on the wall behind her. His voice suddenly got a lot more serious.

"Two can play at that game, Jinx. You wanna threaten me? I'll gladly do the same. You merely proved my point when you said that lettin' me live is crazy. That just shows how delusional you are. If you've any sense, you'll let the sane people plan this mission. I don't want any of your bullshit when we put it into motion, which includes blowin' stuff up when you ain't supposed to."

It seems that T.F has been bottling up his feelings until he finally lost his cool. It was most likely a combination of stressful events along with his bad relationship with Jinx. Colleagues or not, they would still be at odds.

I fight Barons for breakfast and the most you can do is parlor tricks. The world's luckiest thief is no more a threat to me, than is its luckiest ant. I'm the good guy now, Fate, fighting battles on a scale you can't even imagine. Maybe you should listen to the kid." Her eyebrow raised and she smirked coldly, as if challenging him to make another move. Shiro squeaked happily, ever eager for more blood while Kuro watched in silence.
