    Welcome to Bloomfield High

    A fancy new boarding school for the most academic, artsiest, and athletic female students in the country has just opened up on the outskirts of New Tokyo. It boasts brand new facilities, with a large campus, and the best teachers from all over the world. The primary goal is to compete with other schools in the area and within itself, and to eventually gain national recognition as the best school for girls.



    The Roleplay​

    The roleplay is meant to shine a light on the lives of some of the young women accepted into Bloomfield High. It follows them through their day to day lives as they forge new friendships, spark new flames, and stir up drama within Bloomfield.

    The main focus is on the relationships of the girls and how they interact with each other, with a light emphasis on school work, and the activities they choose to participate in. There will be competition for the school extracurricular activities, as well as festivals, and events on and off the campus.

    Romance is heavily encouraged, but your character does not have to seek out romantic relationships. The most important thing is to develop your characters thoroughly and get acquainted with the cast. You're expected to create your own scenarios and situations with other characters, though I'm more than happy to lay out the environment to assist with this. The campus is your playground.

    Bloomfield, New Tokyo

    New Tokyo is a fusion of New York City and Tokyo, with lots of traffic on the sidewalk, and even more on the road. At night it lights up with neon signs, and electronic billboards. It's a melting pot of cultures, and no one race or ethnicity is the majority. It shares in many formal Japanese customs, and the language is still spoken by most people, however it is not uncommon to hear other languages spoken fluently in the city.

    Bloomfield is on the outskirts of New Tokyo, thought it is still considered to be in the city it lacks the bustling traffic and electric nightlife. You'll find a lot of shops, cafes, and lounge spots. It's a very romantic setting, with plenty of nature surrounding the place, and a natural lake in the area.

I've decided I'm not gonna start Bloomfield when I said I would because I just don't have the drive to at this present moment. It just doesnt interest me, and since the friend I was doing it with is on Hiatus I would be handling everything myself. I'll start it up eventually with new changee, but not right now. I understand if you're mad. Sorry guiz.
 
Can we get permission to hijack the idea then and run it (or something similar) ourselves? Well, not that we technically need permission, but it's only fair to ask for it.
 
You can run a school girl roleplay if you want, I don't own those, but all my ideas are my own so plagiarizing those won't be looked kindly upon. I'd actually take that pretty seriously since I put a lot of work into my rp, and do plan on starting it again in the future.
 
Technically, I can reincarnate this exact RP without plagiarism by making it a tribute. Plagiarism would only apply if I claimed your ideas as my own. But, like I said, it's only fair to ask first. I would only have used this exact RP if you had no intention of ever running it yourself, but since you do, then I shan't use the Bloomfield's setting.

I'm pretty sure you would need my permission to do that, it's still plagiarism no matter which way you paint it. Calling it something else doesn't make it not plagiarism, especially if I explicitly state you're not welcome to use my ideas. I've actually seen people get into trouble for hijacking other people's roleplays and doing them on other sites, or rebooting them without the creators permission. Like I said, if you want to make your own school girl roleplay I could care less, I don't own the idea, but Bloomfield is mine, New Tokyo is still my creation as far as I'm concerned and I'm actually expanding upon the city in my band rp. If you wanna make your own event calendar and hot spots that's fine, also. There's nothing wrong with being 'inspired by', or whatever.

Either way, plagiarism or not it would be in extreme poor taste. If I say no it's at the most thievery, but if you're not going to do that then I have no issues as of right now.

You set that band RP in New Tokyo too? That's cool, I like to see multiple RPs in the same setting. Especially when they intermingle.

Honestly, that's just a matter of personal opinion and site rules. In the eyes of the Creative Commons law, the only ownership you have is on the names themselves. I could avoid all negative connotations simply by changing it to "Broomfield High". Speaking of which, that gave me a great idea for a Yuri Witch Academy...

As a Witch academy I couldn't be mad. That would actually be clever.

And yeah, Iwaku actually has a strict no content stealing policy. So, I'm not too worried about it. But good luck with your school girl rp.
 
I'm totally doing a yuri witch academy. That's a golden idea... but nah I'm not gonna use Broomfield for it since it's too close and way too obviously rip-off :P Plus, I bet I can come up with a better witchy pun.

This is ended now. Sailor dropped it. You should check the Watched Threads tab every now and then. Bypasses the need for bothering with broken alerts.
 
Seems that i will have to rely on that.

Bloody pissed off at the alerts not working perfectly as i suspect my lack of activity in G-force gave off the impression i wasn't really trying.

Fuck the alerts! VIVA LA REVOLUTION! :P
