Niko was born and raised in Los Angles. His mother died giving birth to him and his father soon married his mistress, Cathy. God knows Niko loathed that women. She acted as if she was best friends with Jesus Christ, if only she knew that Jesus wasn't going to help her from Niko. One could say that Niko was a troubled young lad, others would say Satan had possessed him, Niko would say he was doing his own thing. He liked to go where the wind took him, playing his music and chilling with friends.
Cathy had multiple problems with her step son; from the fact that Niko liked guys to the fact Niko wanted to quit school and join a band. He had the talent to make it big, but Cathy convinced his father to either abandon him or sit him on the right path. Long story short, Niko no longer had a family. With a little magic, Niko sliced his throat, wrists, and stabbed himself; killing both his father and step-mother with no mercy. Does he regret it? Not even a little.
