Clark put the sheets given to him into his bag and followed Sam out of the classroom. Thankfully by the time class was over he'd managed to process the situation that happened in there. It was a lot to take in seeing Fushinsetsu again and resulted in Clark feeling some mixed emotions. Anger, annoyed and even fear.

"As reluctant as I am to say it, if he needs us around for something...I think something big is coming here, there has to be right?"

"I really hope you're wrong about that Sam. I'd hoped to have a normal life at Ravenwood unlike at Armstrong although I guess being a host doesn't help..." Clark replied with a sigh. While he had hoped to live a relatively normal life while at Ravenwood after having left Armstrong he hadn't held out hope that nothing strange would happen. However, he didn't expect Fushinsetsu again, and certainly not on the first day. Clark nodded in response to Sam's question about Cafe Maria.

"Might as well." Clark said with a shrug, not concerned about where they went to eat. He was hungry so either place was fine with him. Clark waited for Sam to take the lead.

Eating lunch, going to punch things, then going home.

Relaxing with his meal, he ate slowly as he watched the clouds drift past above almost lazily. The sun was bright enough that even through the foliage he was forced to squint. Still, with the temperature being rather mild he didn't particularly mind. As expected nobody approached him as he ate, with the school grounds being empty as they were and his spot being rather distant from any main pathways through the Academy. It was nice, simply enjoying his meal without any rush or imposed time limit nor with anything he needed to do afterwards.

Tapping his feet impatiently as he waited for the traffic light to change, Kota glanced around once more. Houses to the back and taller buildings to the front, suburban changing to urban. He wasn't an impatient person, but something had his nerves on end for one reason or another. It was a gut feeling, through and through, and utterly unshakable as he began to move once more with the green light. Glancing around once more, he sighed in exasperation as he ran a hand through his hair, unsure of what was winding him up so much.

"Come on, you can do better!" The shouting did little to distract Kota as he watched his opponent pick himself up from across the ring. With a small nod to each other the two of them closed the distance once more until they were in striking range. It wasn't an actual spar, more of a training exercise that involved partners taking turns participating in offense and defense. Grunting as he weathered the blows as best as he could, eventually Kota was forced to back away, unable to find a big enough mistake to capitalize on. While he certainly could have tried to interrupt Faro's rhythm at several points, the coaches would have called him out on it. With a sigh as the watching trainer yelled something, he raised his arms and went right back in.

The sun had already begun to set by the time he stepped out of the building. Shaking his head caused damp hair to fly around messily, and he sighed at the sensation as it met the cool evening air. Glancing about, he waved goodbye to a few of those he trained with before heading home. Aside from a small pause at the convenience store on the way, his trip back was as usual as every other day's.

What the fuck was this? Every different side of Darius, for one single moment, agreed unanimously that nothing made sense. Was he the only normal person here? The only one who apparently doesn't want to fight? Who wants to run away? Who's scared? None of anything made sense, and he definitely did not want to try to attack those mirage-like wolves, unlike pretty much all of his other classmates. Instead, while others fought, killed, and were injured, he did what made the most sense for himself.

The moment Kaivant stalled the monsters with some sort of weird magic thing, the boy made a dash for it. Pushing open one of the alleyside dumpsters, he vaulted in, landing onto bags of food waste that, thankfully, did not break under his weight. It still smelled terrible, but, as the dumpster closed once more, he breathed through his mouth and took in long, deep breaths, trying to calm himself.

His other hand was still shaking as he brought out his cellphone, its blue light illuminating the dark, dirty interior. It was a shitty place, but here, his scent masked by the smell of food and ingredients gone bad, Darius felt just a little safer.

Slowly, making sure that he made no mistake, the boy pressed three numbers.

A moment later, a woman picked up.

"There's something odd happening in the alleyway behind Soul Food. Rabid dogs or wolves or bears or whatever are attacking. Please…"

He closed his eyes, recalling details.

"…send an ambulance, if nothing else. Someone was injured."

Odd, how quickly his hands stopped shaking, how quickly his thoughts cooled.

Sam nodded, stomach grumbling in the process. It seemed Clark was the only one taking him up on his offer to go for some grub. Shrugging, he leads the way towards the other decent food joint in Brookfield. Although Cafe Maria wasn't as popular as Soul Food, Sam liked the place. It had sugary treats and other sweets, and in his oppinion, it was hard to not like sugar. He speaks to Clark as they walk through the town. "So, what you been up to? Just lying around trying to collect rest?" He chuckles. "I still don't know how you can laze about and do nothing as much as you do."

As they continue down the road, Sam's attitude takes a somewhat more sour mood. "I can't believe that guy is our teacher." He looks at Clark. "Don't worry about me doing that again, I can control it...it was just, you know...shock I guess. I thought I was over that but I guess it was such a surprise to me..." He trails off, then shakes his head. "But seriously, don't worry about me, I can handle it, as long as things stay quiet anyway." With a shrug, he figures maybe another topic would be better. "So, you manage to get more then a half dozen words out of Thane?

As each of them gave their own specialised replies to each of the questions Nivandi smiled brightly at each of them. Listening to them Nivandi couldn't help but feel that their lives seemed rather exciting in it's own way. She had never been out with friends or anything like this. Her heart couldn't be any more larger and happier. the butterflies that were in her stomach before were now gone. I guess talking with others isn't as hard as it looks... Chuckling to herself she was glad that it was working out for herself and then others.

Just as she was about to open her mouth though and tell them her answer to the question. Aaron got up and excused himself, looking up at the boy who had invited her to come in the first place, Nivandi frowned a little at the expression on his face. I wonder if something is wrong.... His face seems to say so.... Looking back over at the others she wondered what they were planning to do. After none of them stirred for a bit Nivandi opened her mouth again to give her answer despite the lack of the questioner being there.

But yet again someone else got up, this time it was William. Excusing himself like the other, William quickly exited and disappeared around the corner unable for the eyes to follow him. Looking over at the female that she was left with at the moment now she smiled a little distracted by the fact that both of the boys had left them with similar expressions on their faces. Looking over at Akira, Nivandi heard a howl of pain. Wait.... A howl? Like a wolf!? Turning her head to the direction that the boys had disappeared to she stood up slowly. Looking down at Akira, Nivanid didn't want to leave the girl alone but she didn't want the boys to be in danger and for her to just ignore it.
"Akira did you hear that.....?"
Her head now turned in the direction of which the two boys had left and the direction to which the sound came from Nivandi frowned slightly and looked back at Akira.
"....... I am going to check up on the boys.... Do you want to come with me?"

This was getting better by the second watching Kai fight off the beasts, his smile now on his lips not leaving as he looked around teal eyes looking for an opening, of course he was still thinking carfully, it was obvious Keon couldn't beat one alone but evade them and have fun while doing it, that was something he excelled at.

So when the Hallow rushed him as it seemed they were all trying to attack every student, so before the wards were placed and the hollow actually attempted to attack, swing claws at him in a quick motion, if the athlete hadn't been pumped with adrenaline then he would have been dead as he waited till the last moment to move, Keon ducked hands in his pockets pivoting his feet so he would duck right under it, with a forceful kick to the back of its knee to make it kneel, of course that was all the fun he had time for.

This was because Kai had placed wards on them, making it just about impossible for Keon to have any real life threatening fun, he seemed to calm down still looking around as he was ready to dodge anything that came his way.

A infinitesimal explosion of unrealism occurred in Akira's mind after hearing the howl. A wolf wouldn't be prowling around in a city, they don't live there. So maybe... a werewolf? As stated be for, it was a infinitesimal explosion, loud and a bit frightening but occurred and left in maybe half a second. It had to be a dog, a very big and scary dog Akira wouldn't want to mess with. When it seemed people were leaving Akira's inner most thoughts were, you see this is exactly why we get killed in horror movies. We go out and investigate things better left to those qualified. Nope, Not at all. Not moving. I refuse. It was a ridiculous notion to hear something that incited fear then to go check that thing out, therefore putting you in close range with something your brain purposely recognizes as dangerous. She couldn't fathom why everyone was so interested in all of this.

"....... I am going to check up on the boys.... Do you want to come with me?" Nivandi spoke, a slight frown on her face.

She swallowed, looking off. This was another situation, if everyone got hurt then she would feel as if she was morally obligated to help them and she didn't. Besides, all the shouting outside was annoying. "Right, let's go. Nothing is out there though, just a big dog that is way too loud. Dogs were actually evolved from wolves so it wouldn't be an unbelievable notion for them to be making a sound seemingly identical to a wolf. Actually the first dogs came around somewhere around the date..." She rambled on as she walked outside. She liked to throw around her intelligent when she was uncertain of the circumstances she was in.

"What... What the unholy fuck." Akira gasped. "Impossible, doesn't exist." Akira turned on her heel quickly, her hair flying behind her and her fist impacting a wall- hard. "So this is reality." she murmured to herself.

She, though acting so tough to meet the standards she set herself for her and those around her, was afraid. She was very afraid. Her heart rate increased tremendously and a tear escaped from her eye. Her lower lip trembled beyond her control. One foot instinctively went backwards and she tripped over one of her own feet, falling down. She couldn't think rationally, her brains danger mode took over. Fight or Flight initiated and the path taken was so obviously flight but she was so paralyzed with fear she couldn't move. After all, she was only human.

Evening | Alleyway Behind Soul Food | RavenStrong and the Hollows

Puck made sure that they stayed calm and aware of what was going on. If archery helped them with anything it would be having a keen eye. They were able to get out of the way of the primary attack of the hollow that was going after them, though surely the sound of the door slamming and distracting the beast must have helped as well. But it was unlikely that Puck would be able to maneuver out of the way next time. Everyone was too close together and they weren't exactly the most agile person.
Thankfully Puck didn't have to worry for long. The hollow going after them as well as the one next to it suddenly were suddenly killed. It was quite the relief but also pretty gruesome. When they finally were able to take their eyes away they glanced around quickly. They could probably make a dash back to the door from where they were standing but that may alert the other beasts. So they decided to stay put, keeping a watchful eye on the injured hollow. It seemed greatly wounded but both humans and animals have been known to preform great feats in desperation, and Puck figured this beast could as well.

Afternoon
Armstrong High
>Interacting with random people

Shiulang screened his handheld notebook that rested face up on his palm with little interest. His eyes were disconsolate as he found nothing quite new to invigorate his dulled spirit. Poetry, literature, martial arts, fencing, light music and debate were the subjects that Shiulang planned to participate in for now. Of course juggling all of those activities would be impossible for one with lesser commitment than Shiulang. The concept of "free time" was one that swayed with personal desire, and there was no exception with Shiulang, whose time was entirely committed, both the hardship and leisure, to activities that other more regular people would deem to be "productive work". To Shiulang however, each and every activity was merely a conduit for him to exercise the extents of his capabilities, the limits that he deigned to stretch beyond their fibrous and tenuous grasps. It was this resolute will to witness anything new and place a hundred and fifty percent effort into all things that made Shiulang so stellar in terms of sheer defining qualities. However, it was also, ironically, that which shadowed his existence over. For even though one may become an acquaintance with various arts, one can only become truly renowned in one. A harsh reality inherent to the limits of man that Shiulang simply ignored, for it was not excellence that he sought. No, it was rather much more intricate, deeper and more intrinsic to his very being. An impetus selfless yet selfish, grant yet miniscule. A host of contradictions that mirrored Shiulang's own byzantine character full of twists and turns. At base it was an unnerving desire to push forward and improve, but beyond that which others would perceive, it was a struggle to define an existence that had long been shoveled over by the facetious fluff of societal expectation. However Shiulang never let himself be bothered by his goals. It was not that he failed to understand the nature of his goals, rather it was that his very understanding of his goals was what detracted from the substance of their gravity. One can stumble upon an enlightening moment and witness a grand purpose laid bare, and then be filled with awe. However Shiulang could never attain such a dramatically simple path. He understood his path of rocky climbs and falls, and yet by understanding them he felt no resonance with himself. He was an empty, void filled man that sought a fabrication that was a single facet out of hundreds of crystalline faces. A hopeless, yet compelling existence. A purposeless yet driven life. A swirl of abstracts and tangibilities that meshed badly together to form an unwoven and rough tapestry.

Shiulang understood how prone he was to falling into an introspective reflection of his being, and he often refrained from doing so as it could simply lead to more questions about himself, which he did not desire. Some are piqued by queries of their life and avidly seek them to solve them. But Shiulang bored of them. By understanding them he could not experience them fully. It is like how the view of the Grand Canyon can be said to be tarnished. The first explorer would have witnessed it in all it's radiance, but those tourists after would have the image irrevocably damaged by preconceptions borne from pictures and accounts. In the end, the tourist can remark at best, that the canyon was "just like how the picture was!" and nothing more. An experience empty and hollow.

Sighing at the absurdity of his rambling of the philosophical and metaphysical, Shiulang decided to do something worthwhile. He navigated the campus to the gym, where apparently there would be the Karate team's captain to entertain possible prospects. With a brisk but controlled pace, Shiulang sauntered to the gym. He swiftly passed through the thinning throngs of the afternoon school crowd, with none pointing interest at Shiulang and he in turn expressing nothing in return. The interior of the gym was luxurious. Vast and commodious, with an athletic air and musk to it. Shiulang perceived instantly those he sought. Three tall and well built Japanese seniors perhaps, sitting together and chatting absent mindedly. They were decked out in the standard uniform and a small sign to indicate that they were the ones recruiting lay in disarray beside them, signalling the obvious failure to attract new interest. Shiulang stepped forward and introduced himself with brisk and abrupt manner, and in turn the three club members greeted Shiulang. After some idle chatter, the three students, obviously eager to hook in a new member, demonstrated their "cool" techniques to an interested Shiulang. Shiulang noted their movements closely, picking up on the minutiae that made up the coherent form of basic martial arts.

After thirty minutes, Shiulang emerged with the three members from the gym towards a location called Soul Food to have a chat and get acquainted. The members were all amiable, friendly and accomodating, and Shiulang read the mood of the conversation and reflected it back like a mirror, changing his leaden expression and simplifying his tone to fit into the group temporarily. But in the end Shiulang was no more than a mirror. He never truly felt a cordiality well up within him, or an urge to connect with the three before him. In the first place, Shiulang only felt disappointment. The members were lacking in all fields even as captains. Their form was shabby, focused on offense and striking too heavily. Their breathing was disrupted, laced with excitement that impeded true and natural flow of movement. It was all a mess to Shiulang's immensely trained eye. Secondly, his faked emotion was simply a natural reflex, an instinct borne from living in society. A necessity that must be upheld. Whatever warmth one may direct, Shiulang reflects, and yet that reflections is just that: an empty, cold and hollow artifice of emotion that merely seeks to be friendly in name. This odd trait of Shiulang's is what made him so abstruse within argumentation, as he merely reflected back hostility, politeness, and friendliness in his own manner. None had yet been able to put forward an image that Shiulang could not reflect back with empty ease, which Shiulang both favored and regretted. In essence, none understood Shiulang, and yet, this meant that Shiulang could understand most everyone. One does not yearn for that which one is familiar with, and so it was with Shiulang. Perhaps this raises the implication that Shiulang does not truly understand himself, but that is a question of abstract gander that Shiulang puts off.

The ricocheting bullet startled the feral Hollows as it pierced through their ranks and greatly wounded the Alpha. The blows to the pack members forced whatever relatively healthy Hollows to flee around the corners and concrete, however this left the wounded Alpha behind as it was unable to run on its wounds. The limp supernatural beast limps, struggling to make an escape. Its attempts to successfully gallop away will lead him nowhere.

The large, unidentifiable beast was coated in a bog of black mist that burned away its exoskeleton slowly, like a slow burning flame. The circles of arcane text orbiting his hand levitated about his fingertips, expanding in circumference. Damian whipped his hand out forward and the circles lashed out like chains, hastily hurling towards the Hollow. In response the Hollow used its multiple legs to its advantage and quickly lunged to the side, using it's shifted momentum as force to jab its spear-tipped fingers through the wall and ravage down the side, carving through the black bricks and evading Damian's snare. After the bricks were broken down, it continued to ravage the wall until it carved an opening through the side and escape through the other side, breaking into another series of tunnels where it made its escape through the darker ends of the caverns. Damian and Anderson ran up to the hole to try and spot the direction it had escaped to, but was too late to spot the monster. "Christ." Anderson bellowed underneath his breath. "We only managed to weaken it. I don't know if the thing will heal anytime soon, but you well in keeping it at bay. We need to get out of here. Not sure if the noise of that hole it made was loud enough to attract attention." Damian nodded, silently agreeing with his fathers decision. The two ran back down the opposite sides of the sewer to make it back through the manhole cover they climbed down in. As Damian rain, he noticed his pants and shoes were soaked with sewer water, even his shirt. After realizing this fact from ignoring it in battle, he had put something together. "Hey, Dad?" Damian asked, huffing between words. "What's up boy?" "How are we to explain the foul smell to Mom?" Anderson's eyes widened in shock over the upcoming situation he'd find himself in. "If she asks, there was a sewage explosion. The smell should come off in a few washes and a shower, right?" Anderson said with skepticism.

Aaron barely heard William arrive beside him and start talking as he stared at the scene beyond. It hadn't changed, the weird half human shapes that couldn't be existing were still in front of him, and though the man no longer held his sword he had been conjuring up black energy with his voice just moments ago. As William recoiled from the door Aaron's list of possible causes shortened down to one with the new evidence. It had to have been something in the food they had eaten. He couldn't tell what the other boy was seeing as a result, but it must've been equally disturbing.

Suddenly two of the wolf beasts exploded into blood and a third appeared to be hit as well. There had been no sound, no further move from the group in the middle, they had just died. The other beasts scrambled around looking for safety. It was like a scene out of fantasy.

Then the other two students he had been with also arrived. The younger girl was so engrossed in her own rambling that she was outside before she saw some terrible scene of her own. She spun, punched a wall and froze in fear, muttering about the impossibility of the situation. In Aaron's mind it was certain now that the four of them were suffering from something in the food. Deciding it was best to get away from whatever trigger was in the alleyway causing the visions, he reached out and gently grabbed Akira's arm. He then pulled her back inside the restaurant and shut the door behind him, this time more quietly.

Turning around he saw that William was already backing away from the door which made him nod, that was what he should be doing. With his free hand he gestured to Nivandi to follow him and led Akira back to the table where they had been eating. Releasing her arm when they arrived he turned to look at the small group.

"I think," he began, his tone a little quiet but also steady and calm, "There has been something spilled in our food. I think, it would be best if we all returned home and slept it off so that it doesn't get worse. Shall we return to the school dormitory?" It wasn't where he lived but he felt like having company for a little while longer after witnessing that scene.

Keon saw the Alpha get hit and chuckled to himself, "Just like animals, the second the strongest gets hurt the rest just run away." He muttered seeming amused at the fact as he walked towards the wounded beast, his strides long and almost on a skipping moition as his hands were currently resting his pocket, as he got closer his smile gone for the moment he crouched down arms resting on his knees.

"So what exactly are you?" He asked himself curiously as he looked over the beast stay far enough to where if it attempted to attack he could easily dodge it in a moments notice, "Not only that, but the second it is too wounded it attempts to flee, not as monsterous, and rage filled as before."

He completely embeded a mental image of the best trying to crawl away as he didn't want to forget this, because these things gave him a nice rush, one that he hadn't had in a long time so another smile came onto his face this time more calm.

"Well, someone with a weapon kill the damn thing, don't need it running away and healing." He said simply as if it was a bug or something even less, Keon seemed to be taking this very well but at the same time little cracks of his mental state were taking place as he usually hid away those emotions.

He got up from the beast and turned around, maybe he should just leave to his dorm and sleep for a while, of course after grabbing his stuff, he doubted Kai was in any shape to tour them, and Kai was bad enough at evading questions in the first place, so there was no way he was getting around this one.

Which made Keon a little scared in a way, what if Kai really did have some type of mind erase power, it wouldn't be impossible with what he had seen today, so he slowly inched away as he remembered Darius had actually jumped somewhere to hide, no doubt he had been logical and if he had a phone called 911, Keon felt his face, it still had blood on it, his mouth had the taste of iron, this would look really bad with Jackson injuried,
"Just another reason to get out of here."

He said to himself as he looked at the others, from what he had seen Jackson had somewhat broke spouting whatever about ~Finishing the job~ Darius had actually freaked out, Kai had fought as he had obviously seen these before, someone from far away had helped
and Iphigenia had been like him and gone just a little bit sadistic, maybe he would talk about it with her later, but for now he simply tried to act calm as he watched his classmates, going over his actions.

"Damn, Darius was the smartest person in this situation."
He said to himself as he sat down he was really tired after all that excitment.

Nothing on him at the moment.

Kaivant's prediction had been correct. Injuring the alpha effectively disbanded the ranks of the hollows, as their animalistic instincts changed their vision of themselves from hunters to the hunted. Watching as the alpha desperately attempted to flee was a pitiful sight for a creature who considered itself the strongest of its existence. A smile came to Kaivant's face upon listening to Keon's commentary, and a nod would express his agreement with the teen's declaration of finishing off the creature. Kaivant let out a small sigh of exhaustion before stepping forward to finish the job, but the sudden caw of a raven would immediately halt his movements; a pained expression replacing the smile that was once on his face.
With a flutter of its wings, the bird landed atop the alpha's head, and in an instance, the once proud hollow immediately kneeled to the ground with a whimper. From the distance of the alley, a particularly young, white-haired man, dressed in brown formal attire, was approaching the group with a stern expression plastered onto his face.

"It is not Ravenwood's job to save the weak from their demise, Kaivant. We are not those fools who choose to bide their time in assistance of the public. Your job was to inform the students of their position at Ravenwood...no more...no less."

The man's tone was calm yet unnervingly chilling as he chastised Kaivant for the actions he had taken in saving the students from the attack. With his speech complete, the man, grabbing the alpha's hair, forcibly pulled the submissive creature up to his level. In inspection of its self, a bored expression replaced the man's stern outlook, and a sigh exhaled prior to his words that would follow.

"Yet another expected but untimely evolution. Pathetic creatures they are, attempting to survive through barbaric means such as consumptive adaptation. Even now, they are nothing more than insects, swarming the city with their sickeningly weak existence."

Silence befell the area as the man retrieved Kaivant's blade out of the hollow's chest.
"Tatsu."
Dark energy immediately began to form itself around the blade of the sword, and in a single motion, the head of the hollow would have been cleanly severed without a drop of blood staining the blade. With its job complete, the sword returned to its former size of a pendant before getting tossed back to its owner. After gazing upon each individual student, the man would have let out yet another sigh before addressing certain individuals.

"Consider yourselves lucky to experience another day, humans.
You, Keon, it is good to see an energetic human such as yourself, but perhaps taking a moment to understand the difference in power levels is advised before attempting to drop kick that which you have no knowledge on?
To the coward, hiding in the dumpster, what good did you believe would result from calling the police on matters of which are clearly unnatural?
Finally, Jackson...I have no words for your actions. 'If I'm going to die, then I might as well die fighting my demons? '
The value you put on a life that has once survived is quite pitiable."

While walking forward to inspect Jackson's injuries, the man manifested a paint brush into his right hand before taking the instrument and forcibly running its tip against the teen's cut. Along the distance of the brush's path, glowing white paint seemingly appeared while in in the man's left hand, a revolver manifested. After placing the gun onto the boy's skin and firing, not another wound, but fresh skin would have appeared in place of the injury.

"It is in your best interest to forget all that has happened. Your lives should have been lost, but luck seems to favor your existences. Return to your dwelling and awake with no memories of today. You are students of Armstrong and of Ravenwood...nothing more, nothing less."

After giving his advice to the students, the man turned to depart in the direction from whence he came. With his exit, the existence of the hollows began to slowly dissipated from view, and Kaivant, who was exhausted from the battle, collapsed onto his back with a thud. Upon exhaling a deep sigh, Kaivant would turn his head to gaze upon each individual student in inspection of their current state of being.

"What he said is true. Hurry up and return to Armstrong. I'd rather none of you spend time getting interrogated by the police over matters that concern you not. Think of this as a really bad nightmare, that you'll forget about by tomorrow morning...It's better that way."

After jumping to his feet, Kaivant would have flashed each student a quick smile before turning to depart down the alley himself.

Gosh I hope everyone is.......

Stopping mid of her thoughts, her walk and basically everything. Not even being able to pay attention to Akira who she had dragged out of the restaurant to witness this phenomenon. She could see William and Aaron near them both giving the same reaction that she had. Looking at the situation as she stood there frozen her brain tried to rattle around everything that was going on.

Turning her head slowly to look over at Aaron Nivandi watched as he took hold of Akira and led her back towards the restaurant. Her arms shaking ever so slightly she watched the scene play out for a couple minutes more before she slowly began to retreat. This isn't real... It can't be real.... But what if it.... She then focused around her surroundings and released she had managed to walk back towards the restaurant. Looking at Aaron as he spoke Nivandi shook her head slowly and looked at him.
"It wasn't in the food... We all can't be having the same reactions... right...? If it was something in the food we would all be seeing different things.... right....? We can't be...."

Her head spinning in circles now, Nivandi was completely and utterly confused on what was going on. Food poisnig doesn't do things like that... does it...? The statements with questions ran around and around in her head teasing her and poking fun at her. Not being able to grasp everything around her, Nivandi took hold of a chair as she began to feel faint.
"Those wolves..... they had to be real..... We all heard it.... didn't we.......?"
More and more questions pored out and Nivandi grasped her head. too many... Too many questions!!!!

Late Afternoon, Alleyway behind Soul Food
Ravenstronk

Ultimately, it was the click of her blade and the ricochet of a gunshot that brought Iphigenia back to reality. The unnatural smile quickly faded from her face as she realized her own expression, and she looked down at herself once more as the situation around them deescalated. She immediately dropped into damage control mode, taking in all the information she had around her.

Did anybody see her? Who was facing her? What were their reactions? How would she respond? What, exactly, was the wounded monster before them? How should she act? When was the last time she'd lost control? Iphigenia could not remember a time past her early childhood where she had lost control like this.

By the time she answered her own questions, standing glued to the ground, the grotesque monsters were all but gone, leaving only further questions to be asked. There was another click as she closed the knife that she had pulled, assuming the persona of a collected, but slightly shaken student. Iphigenia still had not the faintest idea what had happened or what had attacked them, but even as the rush and excitement of blood and battle faded from her body, she found herself truly unfazed by it all.

Instead, Iphigenia was irritated. Irritated at her ruined clothes, stained beyond recovery; Irritated at herself, momentarily overcome by her pleasure and bloodlust; Irritated by the unseemly beasts that lead only to a road of unanswered questions; Irritated by the appearance of the white-haired man, whose condescending and unhelpful actions made her blood boil.

She scoffed at the two's uninspired advice. It was in her best interest to know about what happened, not the other way around. Forget about everything? How out of touch with reality was the white-haired man? Iphigenia was going to do everything in her power to know exactly what the meaning of the evening's events were.

"I think… You would find it against the very nature of humans to forget," said the Forsyth girl, to nobody in particular.

She let loose some of her frustration in the guise of helping Darius, who had cowardly hid in the nearest dumpster by kicking its sheet-metal sides several times. In a serious tone tinted with slight amusement, Iphigenia called out to the boy.

"You can come out now, brave metalworking friend! I've got nothing on what's happened, but they're gone."

[Alleyway behind Soul Food]
[Ravens and Douchebag]

As suddenly as it began, the conflict outside the dumpster cooled down, eventually falling into silence that was heralded by the sound of gunfire. Kaivant had used a sword, so did that mean that the cavalry had arrived, in the form of police? No, as Darius closed his eyes and listened more carefully, he could definitely hear the voice of another figure. A cold, calculating, sharp, callous voice belong to someone who was clearly connected to the blond swordsman. Another member of Ravenwood's faculty staff, perhaps? One that cared little for the lives of the students that Kaivant had just saved, clearly.

He could hear the declaration of another 'attack', this time that of 'Tatsu'. It made him think Japanese, as if all these people were some sort of secret organization of Japs, going around exorcising monsters in America. It was still too much information to take in at once, but he had plenty of time, now that this experience hadn't killed him. Plenty of time to digest plenty of information.

Keon was a madman.

Iphiegenia was a psychopath.

Jackson had survived such an incident in the past.

Kaivant, and perhaps many others of Ravenwood, were supernatural magic users.

And…

"To the coward, hiding in the dumpster, what good did you believe would result from calling the police on matters of which are clearly unnatural?"

For a moment, Darius bristled, anger flaring at the words of the man whose face he couldn't see, who clearly had no understanding of how it was NOT to have a death wish. Then, in that same breadth, all anger vanished as he smirked in the darkness, pocketing his phone once more. For someone who was mighty and powerful and whatever else, it amused him how few of his words the man had actually heard. Made him laugh. Made him clench his fists. Made him want to wrap his hands around his throat and crush it.

Fucking douchebag, snarled the pissed-off irrational Darius, stewing angrily in the confines of the dumpster.

Maybe you should get out first, suggested the less-pissed-off Darius, who was growing tired of mouth-breathing in a stuffy space.

A bang on the side of the dumpster prompted him to do just that. Pushing open the dumpster cover, the young boy took a deep breath of the clear, night air and looked down at Iphiegenia, who was looking mighty bloody indeed. Dark blood clung to her face and dress, and, in comparison to the expression he had seen on her previously…the mask she wore was really fucking hilarious. The smirk on his face became just a little sharper, as he replied, vaulting onto the alleyway pavement once more, "Guess our self-directed tour of Armstrong High is going to be cancelled then, monster girl? A shame about the Ravenwood tour as well, isn't it?"

Police sirens could not be heard, and, for a building that was still open, there was oddly not a single person who had noticed the struggle down below. Had no one been on the rooftop dining area when all this transpired? Or…

Well, whatever.

"I'd expect that you all wouldn't exactly want to be seen with so much blood on you," he said, before gesturing to his own relatively bloodless body, "So want me to fetch water for you? Or are you all going to lick yourselves clean?"

The sound of hard shoes traversing slick tile flooring echoed throughout the white room, which was void of light currently. Len, who only a few minutes ago, stood near Soul Food, emerged through a set of automatic sliding doors and set down that same briefcase beside a single pedestal with various control surfaces on it. Len's presence switched on the inline lights within the room, showing a clear, empty white room. Len flexed his fingers before taking a deep breath and pressing one of the pedestal's buttons. From the ceiling, slid down several clear glass panels, that emitted screens with static being displayed. After a minute of waiting, the screens would have gained signals and switched to portray the faces of several men, all varying in age and nationality.

"Templar Len." greeted one of the men, clearly American. "High Templar." Len responded with a respective dip of his head. "I apologize for requesting an audience this late, but I believe the news I carry is important." Len motioned to the single briefcase he brought in. "Explain." The briefcase clicked open and a single USB was extracted from the dissembled gun base. A small slot opened within the pedestal and Len inserted the USB. An extra screen which was displaying nothing soon booted up with a visual recording of the alleyway behind Soul Food. "Today, we've experienced a high number of Hollows, as well as increased Hollow activity throughout the entire region. These are students from Armstrong High who had barely escaped the attack." The recording played and showed the mixed expressions of the students cornered. One was smiling and being overall giddy of the situation, another was trying his hardest to defend himself with boiling rage, and the other simply hopped into the safety of a dumpster.

"Stop."

The recording froze when it panned to an individual carrying a sword.

"That one. Is that the 'Kaivant' I read about in your written reports?"

"That's correct"

"Why haven't you been able to bring him in yet?"

Because he has motherfucking Fushinsetsu on his side.

"He's been elusive ever since I encountered him, High Templar. Not to mention the negative energy he wields in that sword. It completely negates our own, making him a difficult target."

"You could have blown his brains out from that distance. It doesn't even look like he noticed you were there." Spoke another male with a Russian flag in the corner of his monitor.

Len glared back at the Russian. "I prioritized the lives of the students above assassination. Is that not what we're about? Saving people?" "..."

"Len was tasked to bring in this 'Kaivant' alive. He's one person against an unknown enemy and a potential hollow. The bigger issue is the increased hollow activity. Len, you aren't the only one to experience these spikes in activity. Have you been watching the international logs? Japan suffered numerous casualties just a few hours ago, due to hollows."

Another empty monitor displayed classified footage of what was happening in Japan. Visual examinations of deceased, mutilated bodies with half of their corpse hidden within the zipped-up portion of the body bags. Disgust showed on Len's face, just out of the gory result of when a hollow managed to get it's hands on someone. The screen returned to static and the High Templar continued.

"We'll be sending in a host, codename 'Gypsy' to Japan to help suppress the issues in that country. Hollows continue to exist as a rising threat to humanity, and it's our job to stay vigilant and rise to that challenge, lives about all else. Now, inform me of your trainees' progress."

Evening | Alleyway Behind Soul Food | Ravenstrong

Puck watched the monsters make their retreat relaxing only once the only one left in sight was the wounded alpha. They almost felt bad watching it limp away so pitifully, left behind by the others who followed it before, and he looked away when the white-haired man struck the final blow. Puck was a tiny bit relieved that the man had nothing to say about them specifically, seeing as it seemed like he only had harsh words to give. Though, it wasn't really like Puck did anything either.
At Darius's suggestion of fetching water Puck nodded. "That'd probably would be nice. If I remember correctly cold water works best." They said and sighed. "At least I wasn't wearing nice clothes. My shirt already had some mud stains on it so no big deal." Puck may seem rather calm, but they were certain that they were going to have nightmares for weeks. Though while they felt that nightmares were inevitable at the same time was really ready to get to bed. It was certainly a long and eventful day.

Backpack filled with school supplies - Kind of heavy
A wallet containing $30 and a picture of a Puck holding an owl

|Evening|
Location: Ravenwood --> Cafe Maria
Interaction: Sam

Clark walked along side Sam as they made their way to Cafe Maria. Clark looked up to the sky as he put his hands in his pockets. It was quickly getting dark, but Clark hoped that they could possibly make it to Cafe Maria before it closed.

"So, what you been up to? Just lying around trying to collect rest? I still don't know how you can laze about and do nothing as much as you do."

"Oh come on. I'm not that lazy. I don't hibernate like an animal." Clark chuckled. However, he quickly stopped as Sam, began to talk about Fushinesteu again and how he reacted. "Don't worry about it. I'm pretty sure all of us were just as shocked as you." Clark wasn't surprised Sam acted the way he did. He knew how Sam felt about Fushinsetsu and it was understandable why he was angry at him.

"So, you manage to get more then a half dozen words out of Thane?"

Clark refrained from sighing of rolling his eyes as Sam changed the topic to Thane. "No. I haven't bothered since I haven't needed to ask him anything." Clark walked around the corner, finally arriving at Cafe Maria. Only to see that it was closed. Clark groaned as he looked at the empty cafe. It was no surprise that the cafe was closed at this time though. Clark looked around the dark and empty streets, thinking if any places that made food would be open at this time. However, nothing jumped to mind. Clark turned to Sam, hopeful he had an idea.

"Any ideas where we can go to eat?"

"And just whatever would you want with my operative, High Templar."

The sound of a voice echoed into the room just before an eruption of maniac cackling followed the second opening of the room's sliding doors. Stepping into the room was Fushinsetsu with a sinister smile plastered onto his face, and a seemingly limp body hanging from his right hand. After tossing the body forward in a face-up position, Fushinsetsu would have manifested a tea table and two chairs; one of which, he would have beckoned Len to seat himself at. Atop the table would have been a steaming pot of chai tea, and before each seat would have been an empty cup garnished with a cinnamon stick. It would have been after he had poured both cups of tea that Fushinsetsu would have bothered to continue with his thoughts without any consideration for possible speech the templars might have made during his antics.

"Setting aside Kaivant's importance, I believe we have more pressing matters to discuss, gentleman.
Firstly, I do believe that fine corpse I found was one of your own. I hold a faint remembrance of his identity as your supply man? I'm sure certain both he and your stock have seen..better..fulfilled..days."

After pausing for a sip of his tea, Fushinsetsu manifested an exact replica of the alpha hollow he had slain just before his arrival. In display of the 3D model, the hollow's base began to rotate at a somewhat slow pace, allowing everyone in the room to gaze upon the defining wolf like features from every angle. After a moments gaze upon the model, Fushinsetsu too one final sip of his tea before continuing with his reason of existence.

"Perhaps it is simply your lack of understanding towards the opposition, but Len's memories hint that every one of you failed to recognize the true pressing matter at hand. Much like humans, hollows are prone to the same evolutionary process that defines both worlds...Survival of the Fittest. Up to this point, Hollows have been hunted by the Zodiacs...hosts...and even humans. There was no denial in the seeds of evolution's existence, yet their rapid development is most untimely.

Consumptive adaptation, the ability to take on genetic traits from that which they consume is fully displayed by this wolf-like hollow. Further more, its skin was impenetrable by the blade of a sword which leads me to believe other traits defined its existence as the alpha.

Finally, visibility is the most pressing concern at hand. The clip you watched was without any filter revealing the existence of these hollows. Not only have the creatures taken a much more aggressive stance towards hunting humans, they are starting to become visible for both the hosts and the humans."

With a second pause for tea, the manifestation of the alpha disappeared only to be replaced by a floating map of the world where several key locations were marked with a "X." In particular was Japan, which was marked with a circle surrounding the island as a whole.

"Ravenwood has undertaken investigation of this case.
Gypsy, as you call him, will be returning much like our adorable little corpse lying, here, before our eyes.
Someone is behind the hollow outbreak, and a single host is hardly going to satisfy the needs for resolution.
A group of hosts will be needed, but a group of hosts will attract too much attention. Conundrum, no?

Your organization has ties with the local principal, Boone.
I intend to notify my class of students with the possibility of an..all expense educational bon voyage to Japan.
We need cover, Templars. Hollows will attract to hosts, but hollows will shy away from a group.
At its worst, it'll make a great headline for the populace, 'Local high school and newly founded college fund an collaborative study abroad for its students.' "

With his speech completed, Fushinsetsu leaned back his chair and resumed enjoyment of his tea which had begun to chill, much to his distain. Snapping his fingers, the map of the world vanished from existence and in due time and fresh pot of tea would have manifested itself atop the table, but rather than pour himself a second cup, the man burst into a fit of giggles that left him clutching his stomach in a dramatic fashion.

"By the way, I totally forgot!
May I humbly introduce myself to my neighbors.
Shun Takumi, founder and President of Ravenwood.
Pleased to make your acquaintance."
