Two years.

Around twenty-four months had passed since a handful of Armstrong High students formed contracts with the Zodiacs, spirits who had been denied their final rest and placed into Limbo. One by one, these high school students were chosen to don the powers of their respective Zodiacs and crowned as 'Hosts'. In exchange, the spirits were tied to the humans and their varied goals could be pursed. However, such events never went smoothly.

Zodiacs weren't the only entities to exist in Limbo, and they definitely weren't the only beings to interact with our living world. Unfortunate souls whose minds couldn't bare the harsh existence of Limbo were consumed by it. Their minds lost and their bodies corrupted and contorted in many different forms, these souls managed to leak out of Limbo and into our world. Later down they line, they came to be known as Hollows, and they yearned to mutilate anything that still possessed it's sanity.

It doesn't end there.

It had become apparent that Armstrong's handful of students weren't the only Hosts to exist, and not everyone had the same ideals. Some Hosts used their spiritual connection to take advantage of others, or downright overpower simple human beings with supernatural abilities. Together with the help of the Dominion, a secret organization created for this very issue, the hosts of Armstrong were able to (at the very least) survive the invisible war against both Hollows and the much more experienced Hosts with darker intents of their own.

Two long years had passed, and the worse has yet to come still.

It's your turn to make an impact, and shape humanity's future for their well being,
or give them what they deserve and deliver the final blow.

| Brookfield |
| In front of Armstrong High |

The familiar rays of the sun washed over the southern town of Brookfield, Alabama, for the billionth time, as it felt. For most of the town's residency, it was simply another day at the grind, another run at the usual 9 to 5. To Armstrong High, the town's biggest accomplishment, it was a highly anticipated day because of the new students. The large clearing outside of the school was littered with growing spheres of people stepping off of their bus or other means of transportation. Dozens of the teenagers stood together before a few select people, mainly teachers, volunteering fourth-years, and the Headmaster of the school itself.

The Headmaster; Ivan Boone, visually scanned through wrinkled eyes towards the gathering mass of teenage bodies. For the new students, this felt like a grand event, but in reality it was customary for Armstrong High to group their newcomers for their tour of the school and it's surrounding area. A single rough hand came to readjust the glasses that sat on his face as he prepared to address his new posse.

"Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Armstrong High. I'm your Headmaster, Mr.Boone, and I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for choosing our school to further your education. For all of our sake, we'll try to keep this tour brief, as I'm sure most of you can learn more about our place of learning on our school internet." Boone turned his head toward the secondary building which was bigger than the school itself in height. "To your left is our Dormitory, as you can see, it's in an extremely close proximity to our main building, and safely within our school grounds as an entire block. In it should be fully furnished rooms for our students who have moved in to learn from out of town. Statistically, that should be three quarters of you."

From the beginning, there had been several different bodies alongside Boone's own, all varying in size and age. The Headmaster turned to said people as if to redirect the student's attention to them for a moment.

"To help me in making sure that everyone here is well informed on where everything is and how everything goes, I have elected several fourth-years and teachers to separate you all into smaller groups and provide you with a more personalized tour. I ask that you all begin to break apart into smaller groups so that the tour can begin and we can escape this oppressive sun."

The glob of students then began to peel off and expand, creating smaller groups of people like cells dividing. As these more acute groups formed, the teachers and fourth-years began to pick their own group to manage by walking up to them and personally greeting the mass much like the Headmaster did.

( To make this easier, all of the new characters will be in one single group, mentored by one person. There are still however, other NPCs touring at the same time. For simplicity's sake, everyone's in a singular unit.)

For one particular group with a reasonable number of students within, a fourth-year dressed in school uniform approached them with a smile as bright as the sun coating it. He was male, no taller than 5'8, and had a mop of light brown hair on his head. His hazel eyes peered into the new group of students with a welcoming feeling. "Hey everyone! My name's Ben, and I'll be your tour for today~" The enthusiastic behavior was hard to get a read on. Whether or not it was a forced emotion remained an enigma for now. "Before we begin, how about some of you guys introduce yourselves?"

|Extra Early Morning|
|Ravenwood: Shun Takumi's Office|

"Welcome home."

The sound of a mellow voice, cued by a loud thud that followed the entrance of a particular blond haired man, would echo throughout the room that was mostly empty shy of a few shelves of books and a single wooden desk. Seated before the numerous papers atop the wooden surface would have been a white haired man, curiously inspecting the antics of foul language erupting from a humanoid figure bound by chains and shackles.

"What has this hollow done to deserve my presence, Kaivant?"

Despite the slight annoyance on his tone, the white haired man would rise from his desk to cross the distance of the room; all while ignoring the death threats spewing from the crazed spirit's mouth. As the man would begin his inspection of the being's self, Kaivant would let out a small fit of chuckles before giving his reply to the man's question.

"It's an irregularity, Shun. Our world should be invisible through human eyes, yet it was from a mass of spooked citizens that I had to restrain this spirit."

Pausing to remove a pair of red colored contacts from his eyes, Kaivant would continue to on look a faint, transparent outline of the hollow, thrashing about in its fury toward its bindings.

"Without my vision, I can still see the hollow, even if it becomes somewhat less…there…
Thankfully the hollow attacked a small store, and I had been on site. The only damage sustained was one serious injury by the hollow, and a few minor head traumas from myself… knocking out the customers."

Despite the serious atmosphere forged from Kaivant's tone, Shun would simply erupt into a fit of laughter, following the declarations that the man had given him.

"Then I suppose a new urban legend has been born for Japan.
Jokes aside though, this isn't an entirely unexpected turn of events. Take the hollow to Cecilia. She can provide us with a better understanding, not to mention I have a lecture to prepare for."

After reseating himself at his desk, Shun would return to organizing the numerous papers flooding his desk, yet before Kaivant could depart with the hollow, one final request would pass to the man who would groan before slamming the door behind him.

"Deliver a message to the Dominion stating, 'Fushinsetsu will be there soon.' "

|Early Morning|
|Ravenwood Campus|
August 10th, the first day of classes at Ravenwood. Eager to start their day would have been numerous students bustling throughout the dorm and campus, alike, in preparation for the day to come. Black, gilded with silver outlines and crested with a raven, would have defined the school's colors, emblem, and the optional uniform that certain students would have chosen to wear. As time would move closer toward the coming of eight o clock, students unlucky enough to have an early morning class would have filled the halls with the making of new relations and the confusion of the lost; however, for a certain group of individuals, a single lecture hall, located on the first floor in the west wing, would be dedicated for the several faces that would be recognized amongst themselves.

Jackson was currently wearing his hood and was keeping to the very back of the group, trying his best to remain unnoticed and unseen by the chipper looking Senior. He gripped his arm, wincing slightly in pain as the scar throbbed underneath his jacket. He just wanted to get this over with so he could get away from all of these people. He looked around, taking in all the new faces. 'Maybe I should try to make some friends,' As soon as this thought entered his head, he was hit with flashes of that night, a dark night filled with screams and death. No, he couldn't do that, he'd just be putting other people in danger. He was convinced after that night, that spirits were following him, waiting for him to make another mistake, so they could feed on the living once more.

The memories of that night were causing him to have a panic attack, he could feel it rising in his gut. He quickly ruffled through his medicine until he found his anxiety medication. He took two pills, and washed them down with a bottle of water he had on him. He took a couple of deep breaths, giving a soft sigh as he felt the medicine take affect and he calmed down. As an added precaution, in case some spirit was lurking around, he took out a small silver cross he had ordered online, and began to mutter a quiet mantra toward of any malevolent spirits. Whether it worked or not, he didn't know, but it made him feel better, and that had tO count or something. He kept up his chant, looking around to see if anyone had noticed his little episode.

Jackson currently has in his possession:
  • A backpack filled with all the necessary school supplies
  • A book on how to defend one's self against the supernatural and otherwordly(Purchased it from Ebay)
  • A silver cross, supposedly blessed by the church and able to ward off evil spirits(Came with the Book)
  • His anxiety pills
  • His wallet, which currently holds $40, his student I.D., and a Credit card with a balance of $150
  • A Swiss-Army Knife
  • A brochure for Armstrong
  • His Casual Clothes

|Day one of many|
Under the cool shade of a wind swept tree, speckled by tiny beams of filtered sunlight between the branches and leaves, Damian sipped from his cold travel cup filled with ginger ale. The day was simple, and Damian complimented this feeling with a casual vibe to his attire: White button down(rolled sleeves), with black jeans, and brown mens shoes. His mopy hair fluttered with the swaying branches carried by the lax, yet warm, summer gust. In contrast with his easy demeanor he hated the weather. The heat was arduous and uncomfortable. Though everything about today was... Easy. One would put their bets on the simple moment of leisure Damian was having in his lonesome. Maybe that's it. Just this moment. It'd be saying a lot that this little moment was something noteworthy, but chilling under a tree was always magical for Damian. Trees had that certain aesthetic nothing else had. Maybe it's because they're alive too. Taking another sip which led to a few gulps, Damian lowered himself from his recline and seated himself on the soft, rich bed of grass. He stared blankly towards the main building of Ravenwood, waiting for the fellow students to start flooding back inside, using that as his cue to return to the halls himself and make for Professor Setsu's introduction. "The thing about first days, once you go through one you've went through them all. Where's that tower of smoke? He's going to make me late waiting for him." Damian wondered.

Keon C. Hammond

While some students were still sleepy and yawning most likely hating today Keon had already been up he had done his morning workouts way before most kids were even awake, the second year had to keep in shape even if it had meant signing out of his hotel early meaning most of his stuff was still there, but oh well right he could go back and get it later, but it was easy to tell he was an exchange student, teal eyes that almost were shinning in the bright sun, gray-white messy hair that might not have looked naturally that color, but of course it was, and finally his dark skin that made it easy that he was most likely african-american which he was. Keon himself was from California meaning being in the sun also helped with his skin as well, and for a second year he looked extremely athletic as he was in casual clothes at the moment, which consisted of a red hoodie with no sleeves and a black shirt under that, along with some black jeans, his arms had much more muscle definition than most 16 year olds which of course had some looking at the 5'9 boy who had a perma smile on his face showing off white teeth.

Walking off the school bus and looking at the school it looked so much different when people were looking around, he walked off the bus his red backpack on his back hanging by one strap, "Wow this is what an inside school looks like when people are around?" He asked himself as most schools in California were outside schools. He walked forwards deciding to wait to make friends and such as the boy didn't want to look too weird on the first day, at the moment he was standing and looking at the headmaster as he spoke he was fully listening for about the first seven seconds before scanning other people seeing if anyone looked like he would enjoy to talk to, but then he started to get moved as groups were being made, though he did happen to look at the dorms, or his new home for two more years, he then was moved into a group with other students standing in the front of the group of course since he liked to be in front, which was a childish thing, but Keon could care less about stuff like that. When the fourth-year came up and introduced himself, Keon automatically was chuckling silently to himself as people like him were always leading groups on the first day.

When he finished speaking Keon seemed to be the first to speak up at the introductions not wanting to seem to excited or jumpy he smiled and gave a half-assed wave to everyone else, "Hello I am Keon Hammond, nice to meet cha all." He said his voice coming out smoothly and to him in a perfect way to seem cool and calm which he usually was, but at the moment it was hard to act like himself due to the excitement really the whole inside school idea was what was all the hype. He then waited for others to speak up as they seemed like the first people he was going to meet at the moment so it was a fun time for him he didn't even take into the fact others might seem nervous, he was also eager to get to his dorm and get everything set up, and a school that looked like this had to have a good gym, so many thoughts ran through his mind he hopped a little as if he was a boxer -which he was at least for a while- he didn't even notice, but it was easy to tell since he was in the front.

William seemed to have ended up at the very front of the group, directly in front of the fourth-year touring them. William was a little bit taller than him, which made it slightly awkward, but the difference wasn't too staggering, so he did his best to ignore it. Funny thing was, he would be in the same year as him, as well, so soon enough he would most likely see him as an equal. Hopefully he could get to know him as well, maybe make some new friends, like the ones he'd been forced to leave behind at his old school.
Looking around the group, he noticed beside him a dark-skinned, athletic-looking boy, who seemed to be chuckling to himself quietly. Strange, but he was sure there was a reason. Perhaps he'd remembered a joke? He seemed to be eager to be at the group's front, like one eager to lead.
There was another boy, standing at the back, who garnered his attention. Hood up, eyes down, trying to be as far away from everyone else. He knew the type. Heck, some of his friends had been like that. The boy began to breathe quickly, and appeared to be having some kind of panic or anxiety attack, though he seemed to do his best to hide it out of shame. He made a mental note to see if that guy was alright just before he slipped some pills, surreptitiously, into his mouth. As he looked around to check nobody had seen, William tried smiling at him, hoping he hadn't made him feel awkward for having seen him taking the pills and having the little attack.
"Before we begin, how about some of you guys introduce yourselves?"
The guys leading them, Ben, had introduced himself and spoken up. William supposed that it would be a good idea to put his best foot forward and try and be less of an introvert, drain him though it might.
Before he could, though, the athletic boy had done the same, waving and introducing himself as Keon. A strange name, he thought, certainly not one he'd ever heard before.
Trying again, William spoke up himself:
"Uh, hi, I'm William."
His heart had begun to beat slightly faster, but it soon slowed down again as he stepped back into the crowd, more into the middle this time showing how he was feeling a little bit more nervous, more reserved.

Vivienne was nervous about everything as she arrived at the school, unsure if she was making the right choice in leaving behind her family and her job. They may very well still need her, need the money, and yet now it was too late. She was here, she was enrolled, as she doubted her family would let her come back. They simply wished her to follow her own path too much. Remembering them was hard on the girl too, but she managed to keep a strong look painted on as she climbed out the car that had brought her to campus. A quick goodbye to the driver and Vivienne was alone, or at least felt so, as she turned and took in the school she was to be spending the next two years at. It seemed nice enough, with a large and well built looking dorm not too far from the school building. She was tempted to go explore it herself, but she knew a tour was waiting for her and she's rather not find herself in trouble before the first real school day.

With a deep breath Vivienne approached the forming group of new students, taking a spot towards the back simply out of respect to the ones who'd arrived early and taken more front spots. She wasn't shy though, so she didn't attempt to hide her presence as the tour began getting into things. She had expected them to be walking around right away to see all the buildings and classrooms or other important places, but instead the perky guide who's name she missed asked them to introduce themselves to the group. No problem to her, but she waited briefly and let two other's speak prior to her so she'd be saved of the embarrassment of being the first to speak out an answer. She never had liked that after all, but thankfully that wasn't an issue that time.

"I'm Vivienne, enrolling into third year. It's nice to meet you all." Vivienne introduces with a soft smile, though she wasn't even sure anyone was looking her way. She didn't care however, and she let the smile have a brief stay on her lips before it slid away and she focused once more on the guide and the other introductions that had yet to sound out. She may need to know these people after all, especially if some of them were also third year students with whom she may have classes or even a dorm with. She didn't suspect too many third years though, looking at the others. She sucked at judging ages and things however, so she could very well be wrong in her assumptions of those around her.

Teangi Reed stared down at the black backpack resting on her lap, anxiety held tight in her chest no matter how much she tried deep breathing to relax herself. She wore her old school uniform which consisted of a white polo with a small insignia on the top left corner of the shirt and tan pants. She was sitting in a white taxi cab on her way to Armstrong High School. The cab reeked of car fresheners of different scents creating a dizzying, disgusting aroma. The taxi driver kept trying to make small talk with her, but she only replied in one word responses making the cab's atmosphere uncomfortable. Teangi was happy to arrive at her destination and made sure to tip the driver nicely for being so kind.

After the Headmaster's speech, she turned to the group of students lead by a chipper senior. She thought it would've been better if they had just went straight to the tour. Anxiety that already bound tightly in her chest only increased when asked to introduce herself in front a bunch of strangers. The pressure didn't release even after listening to others.

Taking a deep breath and putting on a brave face she finally laid her introduction on the table. "My name is Teangi Reed and I am to be a second year at this school. I have transferred from Queensland in Australia." She sighed feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders.

:|Early, early morning.|:
:|Third time's a charm, right?|:
.:|Now Playing: My Precious Friend [Piano]|:.

Rising from her bed, Idelle squinted in the golden sunlight the filtered into her room. She sighed, closed the curtains, and drew in a deep breath. Today was her first day of school at Armstrong High, and her last year of school, ever. Finally. It had taken her a while to get here, and now here she was. Anyways. Since it was her first day, she decided to take extra care. It was tour day, which didn't exactly mean much. Her roomate had told her that you could miss it and still get around fine; just follow people you knew had the same classes. But, Idelle found it important to attend. After all, it still was the first day, and..yeah. Thought rushed through her mind like a river, but most were just her typical ramblings. 'What are you going to wear today? What are the people going to be like? Is it the same as your old school? Do you think you'll make any friends on the first day?' That kind of stuff. She had most of it answered already. 'Nothing new. Probably rude. No. Probably not.'
This was typical of her. Besides, it's not like she was going to make any life-changing friendships here or anything. They were going to be friends for maybe a year, if that. Then they would move on to college, or get jobs, or do nothing with their lives and rot away like the useless leeches that they were. Nothing new. Nothing exciting. Nothing that mattered. Her pessimistic thoughts were interrupted by the loud buzzing of her phone. Her alarm had just gone off.
'Get ready for school! Don't be late!'

...

Shit.

:|After rushing to get ready...|:
.:|Now Playing: N/A [Soon to Come?]|:.

Running down the street with the classic piece of bread in her mouth, Idelle rushed to get to the tour group. She stumbled a bit, and the slice of white bread dropped onto the pavement, warrenting a swear to come from the petite girl's mouth, loud enough to make a few grandmothers go red in the face. She stopped, cast a glance to the dirty bread, then shook her head and resumed her sprint. Tearing through the doors of Armstrong High, she bumped into a few freshmen. "Sorry, sorry!" She yelled back to them as she regained her balance and continued on her way. 'Let's see how late we can be. I'm already pretty late as it is, probably...'

Finally, some voices were heard down the way from where she was.

"...y name's Ben, and I'll be your tour for today~" A sigh of relief escaped Idelle's lips. "....I made it." As Idelle was having her little celebration over in her corner, the tour guide spoke again. "Before we begin, how about some of you guys introduce yourselves?" And the introductions began. An athletic looking boy introduced himself as Keon, or something. There was a boy named William. He seemed a bit skittish. Another girl was called Vivianne, and she was just a year younger than Idelle. '....I guess I'll go next.'
"Hi, everyone. I'm Idelle Loagen, going into 4th year."

That wasn't nearly as exciting as she thought it would be. Nobody seems to be a total jerk yet, she mused. As she awaited the rest of the group to say their name or whatever they were supposed to be doing, she scanned the area. It was bustling with activity. Some weird stuff had gone on a couple years back here, but nobody really talked about it. It just kind of...happened. There were also the ghost stories people told about the place. Grimm's Tale (if that's even what it was called) was a notable one. But Idelle never really was one for mythology. Her roomie seemed to have a faint idea as to what happened, but whenever Idelle brought it up, she got this look in her eye and stopped talking or changed the subject. Weirdo. Another voice soon pierced her thoughts. "My name is Teangi Reed and I am to be a second year at this school. I have transferred from Queensland in Australia." The girl looked quite stressed over such a small introduction. It was understandable, seeing that she came from Australia...Oh well. Idelle yawned. 'I guess it didn't matter if I was late or not...everyone's taking their time to talk--rambling. Shut up.' She sighed. When was this going to really get going?

Ravenwood
Another year...
Sam looked upon the grounds of Ravenwood with a conflicted frown. On one hand, he needed an education, and the scholarship he was offered was too good to show up. On the other, Sam didn't like the place, it reminded him of events long past, and he didn't like remembering them. With a sigh he continues along the trail, books in hand. He had been taking a computer course, but according to Ravenwood, you still needed books for other classes. With a shake he focuses himself. Now was not the time to get melancholy. He noticed Damien not too far away, sipping some drink or other under a tree. He walks up to him, figuring he might as well make some conversation. "Hey Damien, who you waiting for? Dominic?" Sam wasn't always sure what to make of Damien, he seemed alright, but he could be a bit of a grump now and again, but his story as the "Lucas Survivor." gave him some credit in Sam's eyes.

The incident had happened before Sam was involved with the supernatural, but from what he had heard, Damien had survived an attack by himself, something Sam couldn't even imagine. The last major fight they were in almost killed them all, they hadn't even won, not really. When it came down to it, it was a draw. That bugged him then, but now...he realizes that fight could have been far worse then it had been. But again, that was getting off topic. "You ever wonder how ASH is doing with us gone? Better? Worse?" He reaches around in his bag, and pulls out his laptop as he awaits a reply. He'd been meaning to do some more investigating around town, to see if anything might have slipped by the others. He sighs. "It's been quiet...and that just makes me more suspicious, but I'm probably just seeing what isn't there huh."

Akira St.Claire
tumblr_m1ka4scfyc1r01du3o1_r1_250.gif

She woke methodically. Methodically because she knew exactly when to wake up to allow herself for all the things she needed to do and set herself where she needed to be exactly on time. She sat up, not yawning or stretching. Not today. Not that she was in a rush. She would be walking at a normal pace and doing things in a normal thought out manner. She got up and went to her bathroom. She took a steamy hot shower then brushed her teeth. After that she dressed herself and applied make-up. Minimal, bit of eyeliner and mascara then something to cover a pimple on her chin. She put her now dry hair into two pigtails and tied blue ribbons on her hair.

She began walking to what she referred to as 'The Welcome Boat'.

"Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Armstrong High. I'm your Headmaster, Mr.Boone, and I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for choosing our school to further your education. For all of our sake, we'll try to keep this tour brief, as I'm sure most of you can learn more about our place of learning on our school internet."

Akira listened to the words carefully. Whatever the head master had to say could become important later on. Or it could be utterly useless in which case she'd forget all of it. She didn't keep anything that didn't matter in her head. It wasted her capacity which she knew was there but hadn't yet reached and didn't plan to.

After Teangi Reed Akira spoke quickly and with precision. "Akira St.Claire. I'll be enrolling as a second year student. It's really nice to meet you all." She said, it wasn't a false formality. It really was nice to meet other new people that she'd eventually talk to. Teangi Reed would be her classmate which was nice to know.

All in her bag: Basic School Supplies, a wallet with various cards: three gift cards, one visa and some I.D's. A smartphone, a cosmetics at with various cosmetics such as: mascara, concealer, hand lotion, perfume and eyeliner. A laptop, a lanyard, a laptop charger and earned headphones.

| Some Back Alley |

It isn't enough.

Adonna sat heedlessly on the filthy alley ground. The chill of early morning air didn't bother her through the combination of leather coat, denim pants, and work boots... But more than that, It was as if she'd gotten used to the cold. Naturally, or supernaturally? She wondered, ignoring the stench of the foul smelling dumpster beside her. Leaned back against the building wall, with both legs stretched out before her, she tilted her head back with a long sigh until it made soft contact with the wall. The sky above had begun to lighten, but the sun itself wasn't up. She shut her eyes, sorting out the thought that plagued her.

It really wasn't enough. A street thug here, a couple of drunks there. What more had she done than stop petty crime, send a few would be assaulters to jail? Well, maybe not to jail, but wrapped up all pretty for the cops to take to jail. Either way she looked at it, it felt... Small. Insignificant. It felt like, in the grand scheme of things, none of it made an iota of difference.

"Heh," she scoffed with bitter amusement. When had she started thinking like this? Nara... That girl had definitely made her impact. A'top that, there were other influences... Sparring with Sam, conversing with Serena... Farra... Adonna grimaced, and pushed the bulk of her thoughts aside.

Squeak, squeak.

Little mice ran about, scavenging, expertly avoiding the radius around Adonna. She smiled absently at the scampering creatures, who relied on their other senses to tell them where exactly she was. Had they relied purely on sight, they'd be none the wiser to her position. Adonna was completely hidden from view, Not in the shadows, stealthily hidden, but rather, invisible. She watched another mouse skitter past, then rose.

For practical reasons, she sweeped herself with magenta flame, removing any dirt or foreign material that may have clung upon her. This being within her radius, it was invisible to all but her. When she sweeped the fire over the ground and the wall she'd had prolonged contact with, she made sure to put up another radius, so that the swift flame could do its work without a chance of being seen.

Having done her due diligence, Adonna lifted off the ground. It was time to head home.

Jackson listened to every introduce themselves, debating on whether or not he should go up and introduce himself. He really didn't want to, as he doubted he would be able to talk to most of these people for a while without having a panic attack, something he was already self conscious abut at the moment since that one guy, William, had seen him take his pills. While the boy had seemed o give him a reassuring smile, it didn't help him feel any better. After some more contemplation, he decided that he should just get it over with now, as if it would draw more attention if he went last or tried to avoid it all together. And the last thing he needed right now was to be the center of everyone's attention right now. After the last girl, Akira, finished her introduction, he walked up to the front, trying his best to look somewhat confident, and failing miserably. His dark blue eyes stared out from underneath the hood of his black jacket, a few strands of raven-black hair poking out to frame what could be seen of his face. He still held his cross in his hand, gripping it tightly.

"Hello," He began in a quiet voice that probably couldn't be heard past the first row of students, "My name sis Jackson Ducarthy, and I'm an exchange student from California. I've only recently moved here and I hope that we can all get along here. Thank you for your time." As soon as he finished he quickly walked back to his previous spot, keeping his head down, hoping nobody would try to talk to him at the moment. In his mind, he cursed himself, cursed his weakness, his timidity. Before the event, he probably wouldn't be wearing this stupid hood, he would need to rely on fucking pills to keep his cool, and he wouldn't be a fucking coward scared of his own shadow. The more he thought about how he used to be, the deeper he sank into a state of self-loathing, wishing he had the strength of will to be that way again, to overcome his fears. Even more so, he wished he could take revenge on the spirits that took from him his friends, his confidence, and his sanity.

Everyday, he felt himself losing his grip on reality. He heard the voices more often now, sometimes those of strangers, other times the voices of his dead friends coming to haunt him, whispering in his ears, blaming him for everything. He could almost hear them now, the voices of the dead driving him ever closer to madness. He gripped his silver cross even tighter, whispering his mantra again with an increased fervor, wanting nothing more than for someone to end this tortured existence, one way or another.

Jackson currently has in his possession:

|Early Morning|
| Cecilia's Lab |

"You're back."

A bitter sigh would follow the monotone words of a particular young, blond haired girl seated before a table that closely resembled that of a surgeon's. In its entirety, the room as a whole would have resembled a lab given the numerous cabinets and counters cluttered with unknown instruments, chemicals, and theoretically unrelated teddy bears. Despite the girl's negative response toward Kaivant's arrival, a particular fire would spark in her eyes upon noticing the chained hollow, suspended under the man's grip. It would be after the corrupt spirit was thrown onto the table, that a teddy bears would spring from the counter and make its way toward the master, in its hands, a pair of scissors on a tray.

"You really haven't changed, Cecilia.
Your methods remain as disgusting as ever."

In response to Kaivant's taunt, a smirk would encompass Cecilia's face only to be soon followed by a snap of her fingers that would animate a bulky teddy bear, nearly six feet in tall, from the shadows of the room's corner. Given its size, the speed at which the bear's fist closed the distance and approached Kaivant's self would have easily surpassed any ordinary expectations; however, despite the surprise attack, a smile would be the man's only response as his right hand would immediately grasp the hilt of the sword at his hip.

"Sokudo"

In a flash of metal, Kaivant would have severed the head of the bear, yet rather than accept the force of the still oncoming punch, an utterance of "Boei" would have immediately spiraled a collection of black energy down the distance of the sword and into the shape of a shield at the fist's point of contact. With its attack prevented, the now inanimate bear would helplessly fall to the ground while the unscathed Kaivant would turn to direct his bored expression toward Cecilia who would have still been smirking.

"Hmph, I suppose Fushinsetsu titled you as a Dark Templar for a reason.
Much more capable than the idiots that the Dominion attempts to train."

With Cecilia's caustic praise, the atmosphere of the room would immediately change as the once bored aura of the young girl would have immediately turned toward a sense of sadism upon grasping a hypodermic needle into her hand. Despite Kaivant's knowledge of the scene to come, a shiver would still run down his spine as a scream of pain would immediately echo throughout the soundproof room. With the needle stuck through its self, the hollow would have expressed an immediate response of pain through its screams and trashing, yet upon release of its bindings some short time later, the spirit would fall entirely motionless; only the pain in its eyes as further expression of its suffering. It would be as she began snipping the threads of the hollow that Cecilia would begin an explanation for Kaivant's quizzical gaze, onlooking the procedure at hand.

"HI, Hollow Inhibition. It's a chemical I developed to restrain hollows for inspection. In the long run it has no adverse effects against the spirit's make-up, yet I'm told that the pain is quite unfathomable. I suppose that would be accurate description, given that the chemical temporarily denies the very hollow energy from existing within the spirit."

Time would pass in a peculiar manner as only the sounds of the hollow's pain and the snipping of Cecilia's scissors would fill the room. Despite the torture, it would be with a curious expression that Kaivant would on look the handiwork of the girl before his eyes. While her methods often border-lined insanity, Cecilia's experiments and knowledge of the hollows was paramount and entirely necessary for the understanding of the crazed world that neighbored humanity's own.
The sound of Cecilia's sigh would signal the end of her procedure as the pair of scissors would be returned onto the tray of the teddy bear who would immediately return to the counter from whence it came. What was once the humanoid figure of the hollow, was now nothing more than a collection of numerous threads, invisible to all but Cecilia's and her host's eyes.

"Evolution, this is the cause of the Hollow's visibility to an ordinary human's eye. Something sparked a change in the hollow's threads, as they are now more closely tuned to that of a humans. This isn't an entirely unexpected turn of events; however, it is much sooner than I predicted. Hollows by nature are usually aggressive spirits, corrupted from the norm of Zodiacs. It is because of this corruption that they are prone to evolution outside of their deteriorating power. It was only a matter of time before they would adapt to humanity's wavelength, yet this is several hundreds of years too early. Someone is behind this."

With her explanation, Cecilia began furiously scratching her head in annoyance toward the realizations that the hollow had brought forth, and it would be with a growl that she would bark her orders toward Kaivant who would simply sigh in response before once again departing with a grumble of annoyance.

"My intuition tells me it is no coincidence that your investigation of Japan's sudden rise in hollow activity led to the discovery of a new hollow existence. Inform Fushinsetsu that further investigation will be undertaken by Ravenwood. Whether he desires to involve the Dominion is on his end; however, state that I will not take no for an answer. If anyone of the family has any complaints, they can direct them toward me."

"Nn~" slender arms stretched up and over a head of purple hair and bent back towards thin shoulders. Hideko let out a hum of delight at the pull of muscles under her skin. It had been a long morning already. First the tedious nine and a half hour flight, then quite a few hours of wandering around Brookfield in the period between night and morning until the time that had been written on the acceptance letter and now everyone was just standing around listening to the headmaster speak. She arched her back until small pops resounded from the disks of her spine.

Jeeze, how uninteresting.

Her eyes wandered as the man spoke, flitting from one face to the next and occasionally visually scaling the buildings around her. The architecture was similar to what she had seen in the town, quite different in comparison to the structures of California. It wasn't a bad difference per se but one she'd have to get used to no doubt. Of course she wasn't completely disregarding the speech. She kept a careful ear out for any words of interest- 'Which don't seem likely to appear anytime soon.' she mused. A breeze pushed against her face lightly and her attention skipped away from the throngs and up towards the sky. 'The one constant wherever I go.' she thought, a smile curling the edges of her mouth.

"--personalized tour. I ask that you all begin to break apart into smaller groups so that the tour can begin and we can escape this oppressive sun."

"Eh?" She snapped back into the present, arms dropping, and cast a glance around. The groups were already formed it seemed. Clumps of students were laughing and talking together all around her, obviously either knowing each other from before hand or having introduced themselves before the speech. Her eyebrows shot up. When did they have the chance to do that, anyways? Amber eyes darted one way, then the other in an attempt to find a group to join, a subtle anxiety to not be left out tingling in the depths of her stomach.

One nearby caught her eye and visually measured the distance between her and the people. Three feet, give or take a an inch. She was practically part of the group already with that proximity! She took one giant step to the side and slid into place alongside a figure with a hood and a girl with pale hair. 'Goal!' She mentally exclaimed, fists clenching together in front of her chest. Now perhaps they'd get to go inside and do something besides just standing around! Her eyes glazed a bit. 'The exploring! The information! The food!' She was salivating already and couldn't tell from which aspect.

She tuned in again just in time to catch what the male student that had formerly been beside her--when did he move?--said. Jackson Ducarthy, California exchange student. Her mind filtered out unimportant words as she tried to piece together what was happening.

"Introductions, ne?" she muttered. Her lips pursed together a moment before she deemed the boys introduction fully over since he had walked back to where he had stood before and spoke. "Hajememashite! It's nice to meet you all, I'm Satori, Hideko. Junior year. I hope we get along!" She said, flashing a smile from where she stood.

Aaron stood roughly in the middle of the clump of students in front of Ben, listening to the other students introduce themselves. There was quite the variety of people in his group, from all races and ages. So far everyone looked to be nervous or welcoming which was a good sign, no one was being standoffish. It did seem a little weird that they weren't split up based on what year they were in, but from what he had learnt in his short stay at Brookfield so far was that Armstrong was a bit strange itself. It wasn't like other schools in its daily structure or in its student intake, why should it be like them in other areas?

He knew he was one of the rarities in the school, someone who was already living in Brookfield and attending. Glancing over at the dorm he wondered again if he should give in to his father's argument and move in despite that fact. They were currently living near the edge of town and it was quite a walk to get here, the lack of car didn't help. Living at the dorm would make things easier, and it would also give his dad a lot more private time with his new girlfriend. He hadn't openly stated that was a reason but it was pretty obvious. His father still got embarrassed whenever he asked Aaron to head into town to go shopping alone or had to 'go for a walk'. They both knew what was really happening then and there was no small amount of teasing as a consequence.

Following the trend so far Aaron gave the people around him a warm smile as he introduced himself, "Hello everyone. I'm Aaron Wilson. Just recently moved to Brookfield and I'm in junior year as well. I'm looking forward to meeting you all." He didn't move much from where he was, not wishing to push people out of the way, but he did glance over both shoulders so everyone could get a clear look at who had just spoken. He left the smile on his face and stood in a relaxed posture as he waited for the introductions to finish.

Clark Wilson
Ravenwood Campus
Clark walked among the many other students walking around the Ravenwood campus. All making their way to their different classes. Some students were nervous while others were excited about their first day at the newly-built Ravenwood. Clark himself was also a bit excited about the scholarship he'd been given. Although Clark slightly regretted deciding to study biology due to the many, many hours of studying and homework it would bring he was looking forward to starting. However, Clark noticed he had a general education class first. As he made his way there he noticed Sam talking to Damian under a nearby tree. Unsurprisingly Sam had his laptop out. Does he ever not have that laptop on hand? Clark chuckled at the now towering persistently friendly Sam.

While Clark did get a bit lost, he had left early enough to be able to sacrifice those few minutes so he could find his way to his first class without worry. Clark slowly made his way into the lecture hall. After a quick glance around the room he realized it was empty. "First one here it seems" Clark said to himself as he took a seat near the front, not being too picky over where he should sit. Clark tapped his fingers against the desk as he waited for someone to arrive. Hopefully I'm in the right place.

"Huh," Jackson jumped in fright as he heard a voice right next to him, thinking it to be the ones in his head, until he turned around to see the purple haired girl right next to him. 'When did she get there?' He thought, that thought quickly causing him to panic. Had she heard him chanting his mantras? Crap, the last thing he wanted was to be known as the weirdo of the school on the first day. No, he needed to calm down and not make any assumptions.. He probably had drawn her attention with his little fright, so he attempted to run some damage control, see if she had heard or seen anything. If she had, then he would have to see what he could do to try and buy her silence.

"Oh, uhhh, yeah, me too. Um, W-w-was that Japanese by any chance? If so, it's pretty neat that you know it. So, um, yeah." Jackson cursed himself a thousand times over in his head, he sounded so pathetic. And nothing he had asked had taken him one step closer to finding out if the girl had witnessed his little episode, nor could he think of any way to bring it up with out directly addressing it, which would be a bad thing to do if she hadn't. "I'm a Junior too, so we may be in the same classes and stuff." His voice quickly fell into a nervous mumbling whisper as he finished his miserable attempt at damage control, pulling his hood down in an attempt to hide his embarrassment. If he hadn't already taken his pills a little while ago, he'd probably would have taken them again, which would have made this situation even worse.

|Welcome back|

"Hey Damian, who you waiting for? Dominic?"

Suddenly, Damian was jerked back to Earth with immediate interaction. He turned his head and gazed upward with his single eye and found Sam. A recognizable, friendly face. Sam was a good acquaintance of Damian's, you could say he's that bridge between acquaintance and friend. However, Damian's bad at crossing bridges. Damian uttered a breathy chuckle, placing his cup down and crossing his arms ready to admit defeat. Sam had him figured out. Then again, Sam was spot on with reading people, a trait that Damian admired and wished he had. "Yeah... I decided to take up Computer Science with him and soon begin tearing my hair out over code. Java or C++. I wonder what'll be the precursor to male baldness." Damian joked, but with a deadpan tone.

"You ever wonder how ASH is doing with us gone? Better? Worse?"

That was a pretty good question. Damian had wondered what has happened since his last visit. He hopes that Boone had been keeping the walls intact and left the place the way Damian had found it. The school has a lot of blood on its grounds, Damian sometimes finds himself accosted under paranoia that a Hollow may spontaneously make its presence known. He could only assume. "Lets hope better." Damian replied, almost inaudible with a hushed voice. "Hollows love Host. We give off a more pungent trace than normies. If anything, us being there made matters worse. Lets hope we can go a semester without an incident." Damian huffed after that mouth full.

"It's been quiet... and that just makes me more suspicious, but I'm probably just seeing what isn't there huh."

"Out of sight, out of mind. I wouldn't worry until we hear someone shriek, or when my Zodiac starts chewing me out over impending danger." Damian picked his cup back up and took another brief swig of his ginger ale.

The voice besides her came as a bit of a surprise to the pale girl. "Eh?" she asked blankly, blinking at him. A black hoodie was the first thing she saw and by that time her mind had caught up with her a bit. Jackson Ducarthy, wasn't it? She had seen him flinch a bit during her introduction but to be honest her mind had already been rabbiting off in some other direction and she'd shoved it to the back of her mind. A flush crept over the bridge of her nose. How embarrassing to allowing herself to be so unobservant! Even if no one else had caught it, she knew what had happened and it was an unforgivable occurrence. What else had she missed letting her mind wander so easily? Words filtered in through her thoughts and she cursed mentally; she was doing it again!

A hand came up and she scratched at her nose uneasily, as if that would remove the ever deepening redness there. She had to be more aware of things from now on.

"Oh, it's not really anything," she said dismissively with a small wave. "My father's Japanese so it's sort of engrained into me."

'Kami forbid I forget how to speak the mother tongue. Father would probably implement ways of torture that were in use a century ago.' she thought. A bead of cold sweat ran down her spine at the notion. He'd had her kneeling on rice a few times for talking back, she didn't want to give him any reason to get creative.

Pulling herself from images of her fathers furious face, she gave the fellow third year a bright smile. "That's good to hear. I'm glad I've met a student in my grade level so early on; hopefully we have similar schedules." She agreed. She trailed off slightly, observing the way his hand tugged the hood down further over his face. Her eyes narrowed. Going off of the gut feeling she was getting, she allowed herself a small smile. Something interesting, excellent. "For the record, I'm Hideko. I know we've already introduced ourselves to the group but it feels like we need a more personal greeting since we're on speaking terms." She slung out a hand that had seemingly spontaneously produced a green apple flavored lollipop. "Want one?" she asked, her voice seeming to hold more meaning than normal for such a simple question. She twirled the candy around on its' stem as she watched for his reaction.
