Us against the World

Raven looked at him. "Ah I see." She thought for a moment. 'What could my father want now?' She looked at the two fighting and back at him. "I'm guessing you have no idea what he wants me for do you?" She asked curios on what her father may have shared. 'If he shared anything maybe I could know why he wishes to see me.'

"Something about destruction of the world. Thought he was just an idiot didn't think he was serious" he holstered his pistol.

She turned around for a moment to and closed her eyes and breathed. She turned back around. "Of course that makes since for him." 'And explains some of my issues with my powers.' "Well I'm glad he sent you and not. Well someone else." She looked to make sure that her father really only sent this man and not a minion, spy, or church member.

X deflects the mans bullet but it halts his attack on nightwing . He flips and lands on his feet looking at were the shot came from " moody much" He says while placing his hand on the ground. A giant glowing red x spreads beneath there feets. " watch your step" He teleports away before the x creates a slices down into the ground creating holes in the ground below everyone .

Chrome rolls his eyes at the two fighting; he may as well of been trying to talk to a brick wall.
"Once you two are done doing that, you're going to tell me everything you know about my past." He says to Red X plainly, and lowers down the metal plate he was floating on a dropping the spears beside him. He lands beside Raven and Ghost with a clank, his entire body shining as if it were dipped in Chrome as he sighs.
"One of you two want to his explain what the hell'a going on? Sorry you have to see me like... This." He says with a gesture to his whole metal skinned body with a hint of regret, and Chrome looks between Raven and Ghost.
"And yeah, I was following you earlier. Saw something different in you. Guessing my instinct was right... damn typical I had to take a part in this freak show." Chrome says, watching the two plainly. He takes out the slip of paper X apparently gave him. Something about his past and the harbor? He's do that later, for now he just needed answers. He didn't even know that other people had special powers too.

Raven looked at the one who followed her earlier. She was back to her monotone voice as she replied "Well I don't know much about those to. But I do know I wish to know why.... Scath is after me this time." She gave him a small smile to hope it made him feel a little better. "Your fine and if you must know what is different about me.... well I'm not from earth." She looked at him turning most of her attention away from the other but she keep enough on him so that she could continue to try and learn anything more about her father and his businesses for begin on earth this time. "And I'm not sure how to explain the freak show as you called this. I was just trying to take a quick path to a book store." She got out her phone to check the time. "But I guess I can go latter." She put her phone back up. "I'm not sure if I answered everything you want to know but it's hard to when I don't know really any of you."

Chrome looks at the floor blankly and sighs. Even his hair had been coated in metal as he tries to rub it, and he silently curses to himself. He hated being like this - the metal shaping was good, but whenever he got a high enough level of adrenaline, this happened. And it wouldn't wear of for an hour now, guess he had to hide, but the small smile made him feel a little comforted at least - and what made him feel a bit more comforted was that he now knew he wasn't the only one around here who had... well, some might call it a gift, but Chrome called it a curse. But he put it to some use, at least.
"It's enough for me. Answers about now isn't what I really want... I'm waiting for those two idiots to finish up so I can interrogate that X firing guy." He says, clenching his fists as they give a metallic crunch as he does so, and he sighs. "Just surprised. Thought I was the only one round here who was... different. Good to know I'm not alone, but I'll still be looking for a cure. And my past." Chrome says, and his phone gives a light ring, the ring of a message. He reads it, and it was from T.J:

'NEED UR HELP MAN COME 2 THE WEST SHACK CRIMSON RAIDERS ARE AFTER US ILL PAY YOU AFTER' The message said, and it was clearly quickly typed and not spelt properly.

Chrome sighed and put the phone back in his pocket. He wanted to get some answers, but now that he was like this, he thought he might as well help T.J. after he's done clearing things up here. After all, The Crimson Raiders were a sadistic bunch who used knives, scythes and other sharp weapons round the streets, and often killed or tortured innocents. They were the scum of the Earth, in Chrome's opinion. He remained silent for now, though, although his face showed some concern after reading the text.
"Heh. I wish I could agree I was 'fine'... look at me." He says with a weak, defeated smile as he looks at his hand. "But you know... appreciate it." He says quietly, turning away. His voice actually seemed to be a little somewhat thankful this time rather than the careless, cold monotone.

Raven looked at him. "Well I'm not sure how long those to will be but glad I could help. And if you need to know must superhero's are considered different especially Beastboy and Starfire or at least out of the ones I know well. Beastboy is a green human and Starfire is an alien form a planet called Tameraine." She watched him grab out his phone and soon put it back up. She could sens the censor he had. "And yes you are fine or at least compared to me I have to know why the demon Scath wants me for this time." 'Probable to try and destroy earth but I'll have to have this guy take me.' "So what's the trouble about." She asked curious to see if she could postpone a meeting with her father.

"Alien... Jesus. Guess the world ain't nothing like I thought it was." Chrome mutters as he puts the phone back in his pocket, being careful not to crush it with his enchanced strength. "And that Scath guy, huh? Sounds like a real piece of work if he's a demon." Chrome says, and yawns as his stomach rumbles from beneath his metal coating, and he hopes no one heard. Typical that he had superhuman powers, and yet hunger was one of the things which bothered him the most.
"Trouble? Hm..." Chrome says, a little hesistant to tell the woman, but she had helped him out a little after all by answering his questions. And he didn't get called a freak. "Friend needs some help. Got some real trouble against him. Not sure if you people who live in houses know about the Crimson Raiders, but around these back alleys, they're the rulers round here. Sadistic people, often cut people open with sickles, scythes... hell, you name it. My friend, T.J, needs a hand because he's being attacked by them. Hell... I wouldn't even call him a friend, he's just in a lowly drug gang, but his pay's good... and after all, he knows about my power and didn't blab about it to the cops. Saved my ass once, too." He mutters, his feet clanking against the tarmac as he walked around in thought.
"I'd better help him. Even if he's a druggie, ain't nobody deserve to die to the Crimson Raiders. This isn't your problem, lady, but if you want to come, I'm not stopping you." He says blandly.

Raven smiled. "That would be much better than dealing with Trigon....Shit sorry about that I didn't mean to say his name." She quickly put her hood up in-case she was questioned and with a quick ball of darkness she made surrounded her her outfit was soon replaced with her cloak and leotard. She then let the darkness fall. Her blue cloak's hood was up when she reviled herself. "That's better. If there attacking innocents then I have every right to tag along weather you like it or not and yes I have heard of them I live near one of the gangs favorite targets but I didn't know any of the crimes they cause." She looked at the man from earlier "Oh and don't think I forgot about you and our chat about Trigon if you want the money bad meet me at the bookstore near this alley will talk more latter." She looked at the man she would follow. "I know this may be a strange time for introductions but I'm Raven. And I really hope you don't mind me coming along."

"Fine... as long as you don't slow me down, you can come along. Hell, you look like the sneaky type, you'll even come in useful." Chrome thinks to himself as Raven shrouds herself in darkness, and he looks up at Red X and Hawkeye still fighting, then to Ghost. "Hmph... that X dude I'll be back for... bow and arrow man over there's busy with him, and as for this dude." He says, pointing at Ghost. "You're like me. You do stuff for money, right? T.J. might gave you a wedge of the pay if you help... could use some firepower. Hell. This job might be even easier than usual." Chrome says blankly, looking on his phone for directions to where T.J. was. He was at his usual place in his spot at the drug lab, where he commonly refined cocaine into crack rocks, and other stuff Chrome thought was disgusting, but innocents were involved with this. And he did owe T.J. something, even if he was a scum of a man.

He flips out his phone and quickly texts T.J. back.

'Don't worry. Stay in a safe place. Coming soon with help, don't shoot people with me if you have any ammo left.' He quickly texts. Soon, he gets a text back from T.J.
'OMG I OWE U 1 MAN BUT HURRY UP MY BOYS ARE GONNA GET FOUND SOON AND SO AM I' He gets a text back, and Chrome sighs. T.J. was so scared he couldn't even spell or type properly. He didn't even know if T.J. could type properly, but that didn't matter.

"Anyone who wants to follow, you come with me. If you don't, then I suggest you do something about those two fighting before they blow up the entire city." Chrome blankly says, and his metal feet stampede against the ground as he starts breaking off into a sprint. Knowing he couldn't jump the fence in this form, he builds up speed and uses his heavy momentum and weight from the metal coating to rip straight through the iron wire fence. He didn't even feel a scratch. Perhaps his power was pretty useful rather than weird-looking sometimes. He continues to sprint down the alleys with recognition, busting through fence after fence to get to T.J. and his 'boys' before the Crimson Raiders did. Some of T.J's men were good people who did nothing really bad wrong, so that's why he was in such a rush.
"T.J... I owe you one. I'm coming for you, and I ain't alone this time..." He mutters to himself as he sprints, with a slight smile as the sun reflects of his metallic body. He was sure to stay away from public view though; these alleys held almost no people in it, other than the passed out drunkard who never noticed a thing.

Ghost nodded and disappeared. He was going to follow them. If he knew the guy he worked for was serious about ending the world that meant he would die along with it.

Raven looked at him as he also offered a deal to the guy who attacked her. "Well I'm not doing this for money so I'll let you have my share." And with that she levitated after the guy and then her phone beeped. 'Hey Rea hope this isn't a bad time but there's a gang with innocents. Victor said we had another villain to deal with so we can't help. We won't be in Jump City for a while so have fun watching the streets for us. I'll send you the coordinates in a second.' 'Okay' she typed while watching where she was going as though reading one of her books. Soon Rose replied with the coordinates. "Hey" She said over Chrome "I'll meet you there my friend just texted me saying I had to deal with it anyways." She turned into her soul-self in the form of a raven then was gone. She soon was in front of where Rose told her to go and she wasn't sure yet how to approach so she decided to stay out for a moment and with her soul-self look for how many innocents there were.

Chrome continues to pound through the alleys, his heavy body causing a big noise as he watches Raven turn into... well, a raven, and fly off. Maked sense what her name was, he supposed. And Ghost turned invisible, so that made sense too. Chrome found it creepy how someone could just turn invisible like that, could be watching him anytime, but for now he was glad to have two as an ally - would get the job done a lot faster. And although he was in this for money, it was just a bonus when it came to saving innocents. Although... he had done some jobs he wasn't proud of at all.

After a lot of running Chrome could see in the distance of the dark alleyways T.J's little shack, swarmed with at least fifteen of the crazed Crimson Gang. Dressed in scarlet clothing, they all menacingly wielded things such as combat knives, scythes... damn. One of them even had a frisbee with tons of spikes attached to it, and another was wielding some form of rifle. An SKS by the looks of things - all of these weapons were also painted scarlet, like blood. Chrome always thought they weren't people, just bloodthirsty animals.

T.J's shack more or less looked like a green basic shed, although it seemed T.J. had desperately boarded up the small place with chains, 2x4's, anything he could get his hands on. Although it would keep him and his boys safe for now, Chrome could observe that one of the gang had a C4 explosive, and it wouldn't be long before they got in. Hell. These people may have been the biggest sons-of-bitches Chrome's ever known, but they were more than well equipped.

He didn't know if anyone was listening, but he decided to say his part in this plan as he slowed down into a jog, far away enough so that the Crimson Gang couldn't
"I'm not much of a tactician, but here's what I'll do. I'm tough, and if you haven't noticed already by looking at me, I'm made of metal. They won't be able to cut through it, but my eyes are my weak spot, and they'll figure that out soon enough. I may be hard to take down, but gunshots on rare occasion can slip through my metal plating. And as for explosives, they'll take me down alright." Chrome says as he starts to walk now, the Crimson Gang still not noticing him in the distance. "I'll be the distraction. Get those sons-of-bitches all targeting me. Whilst they're busy with me, I'll let you guys clear them out if you're able. And believe me, I can pick up a few kills myself. But I'm no leader. If you have a better plan, let me know." Chrome says plainly but genuinely, and he takes the iron off a nearby dustbin lid, making in float in the air as he slowly shaped it into a thick, slender rapier as he grabbed it in his hand, and with the metal from the actual main part of the dustbin, after a little while of shaping it with various crunches and screeches, he formed it into a large square metal shield, a bit like a riot shield.
"When you're ready, I'm ready." Chrome says, taking cover behind a dumpster with his arms of choice. The Crimson Gang were screaming madly in a riot, eager to kill the people inside the green shed as they began to wildly hack, blowtorch, and bash at the reinforcements of the door T.J. probably put there.

As he waits for a signal, Chrome texts T.J.
'Sit tight. This won't take a minute.'

Raven listened to his plan. "Sounds good to me. There is a good amount of victims in there but if the bomb went off I could probable make a shield in time but I'll need in there first but I know how to do that." She let her eyes turn normal for she was done counting. "You two can decided when the distraction happens I'll go in and well get who I can out without leaving as well." She looked at Chrome "Good luck." And with that she made herself go into the ground and soon she was in she was hiding near some of the innocents but was hidden where she couldn't be seen by the gang. She whispered to no one in particular "I'm here to get you guys out so stay calm please." She looked around and counted how many of the gang were there and decided to go ahead and get a few out slowly and by twos so that for a while they wont be noticed and then she would get them out in groups of five. 'Man I hate the fear coming from a lot of these people. I wish there weren't so many in one place.' She slowly began to get people out hoping for the distraction to come so she could get a large amount out at once.

Chrome sighs a little, nodding as Raven wishing him luck, and watching as she dissapears off to try and escort the people inside the shed. They were going to plant the C4 soon, and it was now or never. Chrome tightened his grip on the shield and rapier, and he takes a few deep breaths to get himself calm, collected, and ready to spill some blood. Sparing these Crimson Raiders would be pointless, they'd probably just kill themselves from self-harm in a prison.
"Showtime." He mutters, and starts casually walking up to the gang of around 15 raiders, his feet clanking against the ground. As they start to notice, they turn around, widening their eyes in surprise at Chrome's appearance but still growling menacingly, holding up their weapons.
"Good evening. Tonight, you're going to die." Chrome says blandly, and suddenly smacks his shield with his rapier to create noise and distraction for the raiders.
"COME ON!" He yells ferociously, and the Crimson Raiders give scream of rage as they start to run towards him with their bladed weapons drawn. Chrome just hoped this would work.

"AHAHAHA! Who's this kid think he is?! We'll have this shiny metal freak turned into scrap metal! CHARGE, RAIDERS! AHAHAHA!" The tall man with a red bandana on yells in a screechy, cruel voice, and he was the one wielding the SKS. The gun-wielding man fired a bullet, but luckily Chrome raises up his metal shield easily with his enhanced strength, the bullet denting the shield with a clank, leaving a bullet mark in it. Chrome snarls, raising up his rapier as a few of the mob came up to him. All men, and wielding a knife, a crude spear, and a scythe respectively, all of which painted crimson. Chrome shook his head.
"You people are gonna have a bad time with me..." He mumbles, and the scythe wielding man screams as he tries to swing into Chrome, but he found he couldn't swing it, as if it was stuck in midair. This was Chrome controlling the metal in the scythe blade, and Chrome sighs as he levitates the scythe up in the air, wrenching it out of the scythe-wielding bandit's hand with his metal manipulation, and swinging it back down so it cleanly executed the bandit, leaving the scythe sticking in his head as he dies quickly and painlessly, his forehead ruptured and dribbling blood as the bandit lifelessly slumps to the floor, and Chrome removes the scythe from the man's head, ripping off the blade of the scythe with his metal manipulation and adding the metal from it onto his shield, patching up the bullet hole in the shield with the metal from the scythe. Always good to stay fully armoured.
"There's my warning. Now back off." Chrome growled, but it was no use. More were charging - all were charging, but that was what he wanted. Everyone's attention had been driven away from the shed, and onto Chrome instead. Just as planned.

hawkeye watched at the top of the building seeing the fight with raven and chrome against the raiders,he decided to go into the shadows for now, hawkeye stops at his apartment, he walks in and changes his outfit, he then gets a call, all he says at the end is "Copy that sir, will do" he walks out and walks toward the fight with chrome, raven, and the raiders

Raven noticed that chrome had been a successful distraction. She stood "Okay everyone who is not a raider please stand." Those who were raiders obviously had left for Chrome. She smiled "Okay I'm here to help and get everyone out safely." Once everyone was ready she surrounded everyone in darkness and soon teleported them all out they were still close to the shed but far enough that they could not be seen. She then teleported back near Chrome to help.

Ghost watched the duo fight the raiders through the scope of his rifle. He debated putting a round into the head of a few but decided against it. He took note Chromes use of his metal weilding abilities. Someone would pay well for a super like him.
