William watched Kira and almost felt anxious as he just stood there for so long. He almost stepped froward to help the elf when he began to make his own choices finally. Happiness filled William. He was glad that Kira was able to do something that did require choices. He knew it was hard for him, but he was trying to help the elf learn.
When Kira came up to him and bowed presenting the garments to him, he stuck his hand in his hair and messes it up playfully. "You did good, Kira. I hope you like these and did not make choices based on anything besides what you would like to wear," he spoke as he took the garments and handed them to morgan beside him. He was beaming in excitement for the elf having made a big step.
"How much?" he asked Morgan. Morgan looked over the clothes and said, "16 pieces should do it." William chuckled and shook his head. "Do not sell yourself short, Morgan. You will take 20 of my pieces," he said handing him the pieces and taking the small pile of clothes. He then walked out with Kira and holding the clothes. He slipped his hand back in Kira's.
He then led Kira around pointing out people and shops to him happily. Some people approached him with hopes, dreams, complaints, and anything else a future king might be able to solve. Many people stood back a whispered things he did not heard William was too distracted to even realize people were whispering. Elf ears would be able to hear the whispers of, "oh look he is with someon else this time." "I wonder if that is his new one." "His father will do more to him than just whip him this time." "I can't believe he is with another lowly slave." The whispers were all such hurtful gossip. It was best the prince did not hear.
