Taken

(I'm heading to bed guys, big test tomorrow! Night! :D! )
Shadow looked at the doctors and guards and said, "It WAS an accident! Go easy on me please. I'm only young, and can only take so much..." She used a little of her power in this, hoping it would help her in the future. "Take me away..." She went with the guards without a fight.

Being pushed and shoved out of the room, Amber looked back to get a last glance at Shadow. As she walked down the cold, white corridors she tried to think of a positive to the situation. A positive... a positive. She sat awake in her cell - like room wondering what she should do. Her power was useless in this situation, they made her cell air tight. The air always became thinner and suffocating by morning, but that was her long-lasting punishment for trying to escape once. She continued to sit awake trying not to think of what they were doing to Shadow, the only friend she's made in all the years she'd been there. There was no positive to this situation. She changed into wind-form trying to find some kind of crack in the air-tight walls, as it had become a routine in the past few months. If she could just get out of here...

By now, Alina had left, as she couldn't stand to see so much chaos in one place. She was unaware of what was going on, other than knowing that the creatures were under 'lock down'. However, in her own office, she got an E-mail, and opened it to read that she was needed for testing. Leaving her office, she got up, having the feeling that this was directly related to what happened earlier. She wanted to feel no sympathy, but at the same time, it brought her to when she was in foster homes, and would be punished because of what the other kids did... She shook her head, heading to the experimentation rooms.

New to this world, Danger and Pain both had hardly any trouble actually adjusting. They weren't allowed out yet, but neither were they seperated. Same cage, bullet proof walls, with holes drilled into the top so they could breath. As of right now, they paced in their cat forms, panther and cave lion, both powerful and enraged.

Wasn't really their fault, so to say, it was one of those times when things hadn't made since and they got caught. Still, they couldn't complain. The laid down at the back of the cage as the other creatures were returned. Danger, bigger than pain, laid down lengthwise and Pain place his head on top of his friend's back. Both watched the creatures return, calculating easily which ones were missing. Testing. Again.

Hayley heard the footsteps of a doctor approaching the room she was currently being forced to sprint in, on one of the large treadmills. It had been about an hour since the doctors had first out her on it and the speed up to as fast as she could go, all she really knew about exactly how fast she was going was well, as fast- and maybe a little faster- than she could go. She was starting to pant from the little air she could breathe in but, because of the blood she had had earlier, she wasn't as tired as she would be without it, she was actually pretty fine so far.

<script src="chrome://YouLoop/content/YouLoop_script.js" type="text/javascript"></script>the guards surrounding Genni had finally woken up and promptly blamed him for them falling over and proceeded to beat him for disrespect to authority. they then took him to one of his personal testing chambers. he had ones different from everyone else because he had fire on his side and instead of fire proofing all the test rooms, they created new ones for him to test in."hey could you guys get alina-" he was cut off by the door slamming and he sighed "well that wasnt very nice he said to himself. then he did what he always did when waiting to be tested, he paced. from one end to the other over and over again. he did this to calm his nerves and it helped him to think more clearly. he had lost his train of thought of the current escape plan and would have to think of a new one in the meanwhile. he usually had plenty of time because he was not seen as particularly dangerous. they just didn't know the full extent of his powers. he found himself what they would be testing him for this time....the last time he was tested was the physical on Hayley...

(If anyone wants to simulate the tests, go ahead. I will do it myself if nobody wants to...)
Shadow was thrown into the chamber by a few guards, grunting as they pushed her to the ground. She growled at them and hissed "Really? Is this really that fun for you? Go get wives, foolish mortals!" They laughed at this, making her even madder, the air turning warm. "TEST ONE, PREPARING TO ENGAGE," The automated voice said in a monotone voice. Shadow stood there, staring at the doctors "manning" the controls and prepared for the painful experience ahead of her.

They were hearding them into their rooms like cattle. Tynes hadn't been there as long as some and there were still more and more new creatures arriving everyday. How long they had been their could be told by the expression on their faces. Most of those that knew the routine kept a fairly neutral look while some were sad or depressed. The newer ones were curious and full of anxiety, testing the limits of everything and everyone around them until that first fateful event would happen. They would learn rather unexpectedly the first time just how painful the tasers, electric sticks, or the electric fence were. That seemed to calm most down to a manageable level. So, she thought, the aliens were at least doing something right in order to keep the peace. The rooms were small and not made to be comfortable. At least not the one she was in. A small, thin, rectangular shaped pad on the floor was the only decoration aside from the small holes high up in the walls that let in the air.

A guard grabbed her upper arm and squeezed hard. He shoved her into her room and slammed the door. The area where his hand had been slowly regained its color, filling in the white hand print that was left behind. Tynes rubbed it gently trying to get the circulation flowing a bit more before resolving herself to sitting down on the pad. The air in the room was cool so she pulled in her legs tightly, wrapping her arms around them and resting her chin on her knees. Kaean had taught her how to survive out in the wild, build a shelter, start a fire, and hunt for food but this... this was beyond surviving in the wild. No natural resources to utilize or bread down. Just four solid concrete walls and a cloth pad. She sighed, her mind trailing into thoughts about her brother and wondering what torturous tests they were putting him through.

Dr. Kileaton walked down the halls, he was on his way to do some testing on that nuisance, that vampire girl. But first he had to take care of that Hamun child. He smirked at his punishment. Now, he could tire out two creatures at the same time. He walked to the door of his 'helper', he goes by the name of Pain apparently. Jasper walked up to the door and unlocked it. He then stood in the doorway and crossed his arms as he looked upon the two animals, he knew exactly who was who and looked the panther in the eye, it was the one he needed at the moment. "Your assistance is required in testing room 5." He said with an uncaring tone but his underlying smugness could barely be heard in his words.

Usually, Alina would be testing Genni due to the boy's fondness and cooperation with her. She guessed that it would be only fitting as a punishment for him to be testing with someone else, besides, what was so special about her? She wasn't even the smartest one here, she was sure other scientists had far greater intellect. She opened the door to the room where she'd be testing Hayley, but of course they weren't in the same room- A thick, glass window separated her from Hayley, who didn't seem to be all that aggressive despite having had blood earlier. Naturally, Alina kept to that the girl was hiding something.

Hands going over the controls, she decided to notch up the speed Hayley was running at. Tests weren't supposed to make you comfortable, they were supposed to see how much you could take. No one got anywhere by being comfortable. Besides, she probably needed to burn off that extra energy.

Pain growled, standing and hunching his shoulders forward. But it was only for show; he didn't have a choice. His friend was in just as much danger as he was and if he disobeyed it was Danger that would be at the receiving end. He shifted back to his human-like form, rolling his shoulders, but keeping a hand on Danger. The touch was a comfort, was familiar, and kept him from going crazy. "Danger comes..." No, he didn't like talking, but he did if necessary. He didn't want to leave his friend alone; he didn't trust these scientist as far as they could throw themselves.

Hayley noticed the new doctor, Alina walk into the testing room, well the scientist's half of the testing room. They didn't trust her to be in the same room as them so she was stuck in the room with the supplies for testing and guards who would shock her if she tried to escape or slowed down. Suddenly the treadmill sped up, forcing her to also. She let out a shocked gasp then stumbled and almost fell but quickly righted herself in fear of the tasers that would shock her if she didn't. She looked to the window Alina lay behind and shot her a deadly glare, the fact that her eyes still retained their red color from the blood making it all the more deadly.

Dr. Kileaton narrowed his eyes at him. He did not like to have two of them together outside of their room. He pinched his lips together, by the look on Pain's face he could tell that this could get more complicated if he said no. He could easily say no and threaten to hurt them if Pain doesn't cooperate but he tried not to use those threats, he knew that if you would constantly use the same threat on one person they would become at least slightly immune to it. Jasper took a deep breath and nodded. "Fine, but the guards are doubled." He said then called for more guards. Once they made it there, they surrounded Pain and Danger and led them all to Genni's room but stopped outside the door. Dr. Kileaton nodded to the door, "This one tried to lead a revolution, threatened to set fire to the whole building and gave another experiment his blood. This is his punishment. Make it worth it." He told Pain and the guards led Pain and Danger inside then Jasper turned on his heel and walked to Shadow's room.

Shadow gasped when se heard the Doctor's footsteps coming near, she could already feel the pain. She glanced again at the doctors, their faces showing no emotion. When she read their thoughts, however, words of slight sympathy were what she heard. She sat down again with a nervous sigh, and prepared herself for the events ahead.

Good for him. Danger said, telepathically of course. He was still in his Cave Lion form when they were led into the test room, and in that form he would stay until this was said and done. Back home, Danger and Pain had rarely saw one another, but Pain's gift had been used at public exicutions as well as punishments. There was another reason to Danger being here; Pain could make pain out of nothing, sure, but it was more potent when he was in pain himself.

I couldn't agree more, Danger. Pain replied, looking at the Hamun before him. He was young, or at least he looked young. Back home, the youngest Trans were some of the oldest ones. Pain still wasn't sure how that worked here, old, young, so he didn't let it worry him. "Just so you're aware, this is not my idea of fun. That man threatened Danger here and I can't let him get hurt because I wouldn't listen."

Dr. Kileaton walks up to the controls of the testing room device thing coldly but internally he was quite smug about this, 'that brat is about to get what she deserves; disrespecting such a high official such as myself is simply unacceptable' he thought to himself. "Im going to begin by testing your strength, dont die." he told her then grabbed a small lever and pushed a button, slowly pushing the lever forward. As he did so, the walls surrounding Shadow slowly started to move closer to her, if left I stopped would crush her if given enough time. He honestly didn't want her to be too hurt by the end of this so he only made it a little harder than she could handle, to force her to use all of her strength to its full extent- if she could stop the walls for long enough, he'd stop and move on. If she couldn't... Well she better stop them.

(Sorry Tiger, didn't see your post...)
Shadow's eyes widened at the walls coming closer to her "Okay," She thought in pure panic, trying to stay calm. "He won't kill me this early, so use your full strength, if only I had blood, this wall would be nonexistent..." When the walls got arm distance on both sides, she pushed on both sides with her arms, and soon after her legs. There was about half a foot of space left, and Shadow couldn't stay like this much longer. Sweat dripping down her forehead, she cried out in pain, in tears at this point, as her arms and legs finally gave out. She hoped the walls would stop soon.

He allowed the walls to keep closing in on her in hopes Shadow would get back up and stop their movement but, seeing that she showed no signs of rising again, he sighed and stopped the walls when she had barely enough space to not be crushed by them. He then went back over the intercom which goes between the two rooms and said, "You have failed this test, but don't worry, I'll make sure you won't again. But for now, we shall move on to your abilities, Telekinesis for now." Jasper then lowered the lever which pushed all the walls back to their original place. He then moves his hand across the control panel until he found the button he was looking. "You need to stop these objects from harming you." He then immediately pressed the button which opened several small doors across one of the walls and out shot a small knife from each, all aimed at her.

(Nice, knives. :D)
Shadow barely had time to rise, but she had to, despite the feeling that her limbs were being set on fire and cut off a the same time. She quickly deflected 3 knives on one side, as well as the other. They came at her greater in number every time, one managing to nick her shoulder, one her leg. "OW!" She yelled. Her blood leeching out of her wounds. She continued to deflect knives as quickly as possible, this was more of a mental challenge than physical, if otherwise she'd be close to death. Her breathing became unsteady, but she couldn't stop or she would be stabbed. Shadow thus continued without stopping, determined to make it until the end.

(sorry, I lost internet for a while… so annoying)

This test continued for about 5 full minutes of non-stop knives being shot at her and she seemed to be doing fairly well, better than she did on the first test at least. The doctor was both pleased and slightly annoyed at her success. Once the last knife shot out of the wall and Shadow dodged it, he shut down the sequence and readied the next one. He pressed a different button which opened another door, which revealed a raging wolf locked in a cage. "This wolf can no longer smell nor hear very well but his eyesight is perfect. Don't get caught; he also hasn't been fed very much lately…" He told her then pressed the button once more, releasing it into the room.

Shadow was not the happiest little vampire in the world. She didn't want to hurt the wolf, and the doctors had starved it! She had to survive herself though, but she spoke to the doctor through thoughts. "You torture animals, too?! What's wrong with you? My race almost eliminated yours you know..." She stopped mid-sentence when the wolf showed signs of sensing her. "No," She thought. "I don't want to hurt you..." She stood still as a statue, diffucult after the previous tests, when the wolf inched closer and closer, probably smelling the blood from the knives. "That's enough," She bravely spoke aloud, alerting the wolf. "I won't let them torture you, little creature. Come here, let me send you to a better place." Oh, she knew the Doctor would be angry, but her love for animals came first. The wolf charged at her, and she sliced its throat quickly to prevent suffering. Shadow then took a VERY small amount of blood from it to be able to stand. "Next, Doctor?"
