The Titan stood unwavering against the dark, her fists clutching the two large metal plates that she'd brought together to make a large shield that they could use for cover. In the darkness all anyone would be able to see was the red glow of her eyes, which annoyingly would also make her an easy target in the given situation they were in. As the 'rather young sounding' Praetorian spoke Naomi couldn't help but roll her eyes, becoming tired of the whole crazy villain archetype. She tightened her grip on the metal shields as something struck them, an overwhelmingly awful smell filling the immediate space which had the Titan heave a few times before taking a step backwards. Her brow furrowed, eyes narrowing for a moment as the information sank in, feeling emotions of guilt and sadness fill her chest.

Rubel had still been alive... and they'd abandoned him, granted they hadn't known he was alive but he'd been left alone at the mercy of monsters far greater than themselves. And he'd carried feelings for her, feelings she hadn't even realized in the time they'd spent together in the past. She allowed a small sigh to escape her before she steeled her resolve, ignoring the awful smell and the question of what on earth had caused it before responding. "Nice try kid but if you wanted to get under my skin you should have targeted my weight, not my appearance" she replied before adding, "Typical of a prepubescent child to talk about sex without any understanding of it, don't worry though puberty is just around the corner, you're probably just a late bloomer" she mocked, smirking to herself from behind her shields.

Naomi turned her head and listened carefully as the others moved and shuffled around her, hearing the sound of Dmitry removing his gear after he gave his own response to the kids crazy monologue. This was a difficult situation, not only because of the room size but Naomi couldn't really do much in the dark and from what she could tell Arata had decided to zip away without so much as a word or a goodbye. So now they were stuck in the dark playing bodyguard with a crazy toddler who may or may not kill them all given the right chances and opportunities. The Titan would wait for the kid to start speaking again before homing in on the sound of his voice, swinging one of the large metal plates like a fly swatter to crush him against a wall or a ceiling, depending on where he was standing.

As the Commander readied his abomination of a weapon, the sheer amount of firepower it seemed to be equipped with made it clear that if Tia was to act, she had to do it fast, or there'd be nothing left. Her muttering stopped, and her ELEGANCE acted lightning-quick. The weaponry… it was made of metal, right? If she could at least disable the weaponry...

Her wire spiralling towards the weaponry of the otherworldly power suit, it managed to get a wrap around one of the rifles. Channeling her magnetic energies into her wire to crush the suit's weapons into useless scrap, the NOAH felt a sudden wave of dread come over her.

"I-It doesn't work…" Tia whimpered, her eyes widening. "How?! How can---!!"

Crouched down, her lungs and voice gasped out with a mixture of pure fear and determination, both of the emotions mixing into a haunting wail as she instinctively grabbed María, preparing to run.

Was it too late?

The world had become blurry, even by the standards of a visually impaired, constantly light-headed woman. The battlefield's iron-like nature, reeking of smoke and blood, overwhelmed and numbed the feeling in María's mouth.

"W-what..."

She didn't feel her tongue or teeth brush against one another, but the faint pressure of an arm slung around her registered. The faint, black mass that she knew was Jill was pulled away from her, the words Stingray had spoken rang after, unintelligible. Then, the morphine kicked in, and suddenly the scenery came crashing back into her. The colors of the warzone regained their saturation, the feeling in her body returned and remained… acceptable. She no longer felt like a walking corpse, waiting for her brain to shut off. Maybe she could…

"JILL!"

As Tia helped to move the lanky NOAH, María's gaze fell upon Stingray's wounds, and suddenly, the mess of mumbled words made sense. With gritted tears, and the feeling of tears welling up, María accepted that her delayed response would no longer be able to save Jill; She'd have to endure the bullet wound.

"No… I… We-Alex is right. We have to get out. Or in! I'm okay, Tia, I promis-" she meant to reassure her dearest comrade, as her gaze, blurred and imperfect as it was, fell onto the otherworldly mass of black steel that erected itself in front of them.

"No," she mouthed, feeling the tiny spark of hopeful optimism the morphine had granted her flicker out, like a meek candle in a gust of wind.

"...Get out…"

Her voice mimicked the words of María, hurriedly repeating them over and over again as the countless weapons began to prime themselves to fire. Her wire creaking as it shot out across the room, Tia held on to María as tightly as she could as she made plans to 'catapult' the two across the room, faded remnants of a green, scarred eye shaking and erratically scanning the room through a cracked black visor.

But what about the others? She couldn't leave the rest. She couldn't leave… she couldn't get out… she couldn't fight… she couldn't.

She couldn't.

This moment of hesitation, and the mental snap that caused her mind to lose all hope and simply stand there was her downfall. Because now, it was too late.

"...I'm sorr--"

María wrestled herself out of Tia's hold, standing next to her. It was unusual for the NOAH to look up at another woman, and the distorted reflection in the visor, nothing but an oily smudge within the darkness, seemed to knowingly wink back at her. Her shivering hand reached out, and grabbed Tia by the side, pulling her in.

"It's okay."

She embraced Tia, letting her go quicker than she would've liked, but the circumstances didn't allow for what Monad knew would be goodbye.

"I can stall this, but I don't know how much time we'll get before I… Before I can't do it again. Let's just get inside, and meet up with the others, okay?" Her motherly tone sounded meekly, as she turned towards the others. "You guys took care of me until now, it's time I do the same."

With a quick swirl, she turned her back towards her fellow soldiers, and faced the dark blob she knew to be a weapon of unrivaled firepower. Her hands were shaking as they formed the frame needed to activate her ELEGANCE. The strain on her body roared its head, as she felt it protest yet another reversal of time.

"Okay… here we go."

Watching in dread as María prepared to use her ability again, Tia's whole body felt like it wanted to just… close up. She knew she couldn't convince María not to do what she was about to do, and Tia knew enough about María's ELEGANCE that excessive usage of her power meant…

Her voice as rugged as ever, a slight smile was forced under Tia's visor as she forced out a tone she thought she'd forgotten. A tone that - through all the damage - sounded like her old self.

"No matter what, I'm here, okay…? You're not doing this alone…"

Though she was trying to hold it in, it was clear the NOAH had started to cry. There really was no other way, and she'd been forced to accept it. The weapons were powering up. No time to say anything other than...

"...You got this."

Monad swallowed audibly herself, trying her hardest to fix her gaze towards the enemy, but her quivering arms betrayed her steely posture. Taking a deep breath, she framed the Lord Commander properly with her hands, feeling her body rebel once again, alerting her to her reckless behavior. Images of what had happened swirled in front of her eyes, colored and sharp, unlike her own vision. Frame after frame, plucked from existence. Deleted. They'd never occur, and the Praetorian would find himself outside of his weapon, unaware of the erased time he had lived through. Surely, he'd repeat his conjuring, ever so slightly differently, prepared to strike again. But right behind Monad, out of her ELEGANCE's reach, time would not be erased.

Able to move. To prepare to flee. To evade annihilation.

A warm wave of pressure built inside of her throat, until she felt herself spew splashes of deep red blood, the taste of iron on her lips. Her thoughts began to fizzle out, as flashes of Tia's face appeared before her, interrupting the storm of erased seconds. Her knees gave way, her skin began to lose all warmth, and the surrounding sounds failed to reach her ears. In cold silence, utter darkness began to reach into the edges of her vision.

"Run..."

She didn't hear herself anymore, barely perceiving her own speech. María collapsed, her body giving out, and rapidly approaching the small puddle of blood that had escaped her.

As the salmon-haired NOAH hit the floor, so did every piece of wire. So did every piece of the makeshift wall. All Tia could do was watch her friend be tortured, and there was nothing she could do about it. Her voice stammered out in one last bit of faint hope:

"...María?"

As no response came, it struck like a match, and then Tia's mind was ablaze. Ablaze with what felt like shards of glass, digging into her head, screaming at her that it could've somehow gone differently. That she should've stopped María. That if she'd trained more with her ELEGANCE, maybe she would've been strong enough to protect her and stop this from happening.

...But as she felt the slightest bit of movement come from María, Tia's eyes widened.

[glow=gold]No.[/glow]

It wasn't over yet. Run. She had to run. Everyone had to run!

Slinging her injured ally - the one she'd grown the closest to - over her shoulder, Tia's expression was like stone: absolutely focused; determined on one task as she summoned her vehicle with a click of her fingers. Hopping on, the engine automatically started, the Blackbird letting out its signature wail. With Arata's arrival, and this new opportunity provided by María, she was sure they could find a way to beat this seemingly undentable target, but for now, they had to retreat to safer ground.

"EVERYONE, FALL BACK!!" Tia roared out to her allies, knowing María had given everyone enough time for people to get away without being totally decimated by the Commander's arsenal of weaponry.

The motorcycle quickly accelerating, Tia did her best to take María as far away from the danger as possible. Both she and her had done their part, and now, there was only one clear goal that rung through Tia's mind.

She could still save her.

Juniper let out an incredulous exclamation as the two temporary factions of the team momentarily warred over the injured researcher. Not needing to be told to protect their ticket to their game plan, the once again silver-haired paladin kept herself between hostile members of the team and Honoka. As monstrous as the woman might have presented herself to be, the girl certainly knew how to talk the talk when it came down to negotiating for her life. Unfortunately for Juniper and her allies, they didn't have the liberty to call any bluffs the researcher may have come up with.

"How about we deal with what happens to her after we unfuck everything?"

As she spoke, the lights began to flicker, before cutting out entirely, leaving them in near darkness. Apparently, universal power supplies weren't in vogue in this facility. Raising her shield in instinctive response, she glanced in the direction of Fox's muzzle flash, catching a glimpse of the red-haired individual stalking the opposite end of the room. She didn't have a very good feeling about that.

"Well shit."
Nodding at Chevalier's words, she stepped closer to Honoka with her shield raised, although still keeping her guard up towards her. If the girl wanted to live, they'd have to be ambulatory. "Can you move?" Wrapping her free arm around the researcher, she helped her up, moving back towards the elevator for a better defensive position.

Although Juniper was loathe to underestimate the praetorian standing before them, she had no love for his childish, prattling talk, choosing to ignore him, at least up until Arata unexpectedly exited the battlefield. Within the blink of an eye, he was simply gone, leaving the former paladin mentally flabbergasted. And just like that, the door was also restored. She was right to not judge him too quickly.

Letting Naomi have her swing, she spoke. "How about you piss off instead, little man?"

First it was her latest creation blowing up in her which sent her spiraling along the ground. That wasn't pleasant but what came after was far worse as she watched something impact Alexander and then one of the worst types of pain she'd ever felt in her life overwhelmed her senses. The large caliber round that hit her leg felt as though it had been ripped away. She cried out loudly in pain as the nineteen year old surface above her usually facade. Instant tears flooded her cheeks at the burning hole like would but just as her hands instinctively went down to hold her thigh the pain mysteriously stopped and the wound was gone like it never happened. With wide eyes she was shocked and astonished and knelt there in stunned silence. That is until she heard shouts telling others to move out of the way. On instinct Gaia rolled out of the way on the ground behind cover not far away from Alex as the bullet whizzed by and impacted only the way this time.

From behind cover she took a moment to recollect herself as she listened to the allies around her. Putting things together she recognized that Maria had done her best to save most of them from fatal injury though she herself was now suffering greatly. Within moments later Gaia then witnessed Jill doing her best to treat Maria before taking two bullet wounds. Gaia clenched her teeth angrily at the feeling of helplessness she was experiencing; looking at the current sight of Tia, Maria and Jill.

"I'm done with this defensive crap." She spouted before slamming her open palm down on the floor next to her blue sparks erupted around in a small circle. The area of metal floor next to Gaia rose up and formed yet another humanoid golem though this one seemed much thinner and made of the floor's metal. It had three heads one facing each direction and having angry glowing red irises along with tusked fangs in the mouths, not two but six arms each wielding a slightly curved sword of similar design to the one Gaia wields and finally it only had two legs yet the appearance of this thing was still quite mythical.

Without a word the female NOAH drew her sword from its sheath and sprinted out from behind cover with her golem swiftly following beside her. The two met the enemy outside much like how Valkyrie had been doing so. As a group of clerics pointed their weapons at the approaching NOAH and open fired the multi armed golem sprinted in front of its creator and began to block the bullets with not only it's body but it's blades as well as they swiftly twirled and slashed about; the bullets pinging all around.

Upon reaching the group the golem spun about slashing like a tornado of blades as it slashed deeply into multiple layers of armored foes. With Gaia dashing up behind the golem it bent down suddenly as its creator leaped up onto his back using it like spring board and launched herself at a nearby cleric, plunging her sword into the more lightly armored throat as fresh blood spray across Gaia's face. The enemy returned fire once as the golem responded once again by instinctually protecting its creator once again blocking and deflecting any danger from Gaia; a very similar display to Valkyrie's own elegance.

The sudden halt of combat caught Gaia off guard as she turned to see Valkyrie get literally bitch thrown back towards the defensive barrier. With shifty steps Gaia backs away from the commander before full on sprinting away back towards everyone with her golem behind her; both sliding beneath a hole in Tia's wall. The NOAH's mind was racing once again trying to formulate something, anything at this point; things were dire. In the middle of her thoughts she couldn't help but hear Alexander's words of death ringing up once again. The words made her more furious and she was in no mood for this again.

Gaia sheathed her sword as her golem sheathed two of it's own swords to free up a pair of it's arms; it proceeded to pick up and carry the wounded Valkyrie. "I've got you Valkyrie." She said; before moving on however Gaia watched what Tia and Maria were doing in silence. She felt it wasn't her place to speak here but could she really just stay silent while someone who saved her just moments ago pretty much saved her life? The NOAH's fingers clenched tightly around the handle of her weapon till the knuckles turned white as she watched Maria use her power once again to aid them all.

She couldn't help but respect such courage. The NOAH bowed her head slightly and shut her eyes in Maria's direction before fleeing with everyone else; Valkyrie cradled in the arms of Gaia's golem as it too fled with everyone else.

"If I hear one more depressing word out of you Alexander I swear I'm gonna stab you once this shit is over" She could no longer hold her tongue as she ran away with everyone.

How quickly everything had gone to shit. The plan had been simple, get the schematics...
and get the fuck out
.

So many had died for this...

Now they were cornered like dogs...

Was this how evil triumphs?

The battle-weary Ronin steadied himself, stance still like the world on pause. He eased his breath, firm grasp as he prepared to meet the storm. "Underestimating us already?" There was no going back. It was live or die, and FOX had already made peace with the latter. "Your King underestimated us, too." As Arata shattered the elevator door, smashing through the shaft with tremendous speed, the remainder of the team was left on their own.

"Fucking..." Chevalier dared not move despite Arata's sudden exit. "STAY!" He ordered the team, "Nobody move!" Formation was key. Any weakness and the Praetorian would have the opportunity to pick them apart one by one. They had to stay together. They had to...

Noticing the bright scarlet gemstones which pierced the darkness, a beam of light suddenly cascaded over Chevalier's shoulder. The cone of light illuminated the young boy, hanging upside down from the ceiling. Positive identification. Two shots center mass. With killer instinct, the business end of FOX's carbine roared twice more. This time, the ring of shell casings tapping against the ground were accompanied by an unceremonious thud. The Praetorian had fallen, blood dripping from the two bullet holes in his chest.

"Wait!" FOX ignored Chevalier's remark, shrugging past him. The Ronin quickly put two more rounds into the Praetorian's head, blood painting the surface beneath him a crimson red. Even a Praetorian wouldn't survive a pointblank shot to the head... right? As FOX stood over Revenant's body, his eyes scanned the darkness around him. No, even the thickheaded FOX knew that had been too easy.

As they remained in place, a faint cackle could be heard in the darkness surrounding them. Unlike before, the voice was difficult to pinpoint. It sounded as if they were...

"Oh... shit." From the darkness, dozens of the same, scarlet eyes revealed themselves. All laughing. All staring. All ready to kill.

"Scared? You will be." A hundred voices cooed from the shadows. It was time to leave.

"Go! Run!" Chevalier barked. As if on Chevalier's command, a hundred Revenants charged forth, crimson eyes glowing as they pounced upon the team with deadly speed. The first doppelgangers were quickly gunned down by FOX, the Ronin unleashing a hail of gunfire as he retreated backwards. "Into the elevator! NOW!" Chevalier covered the team's retreat as they crammed themselves into the confined space. From the front, from the sides and crawling on the ceiling, the army of Revenants seemed to endlessly come forth, their laughs resonating as they threatened to overwhelm the team.

"Elevator's jammed!" Gillian turned his attention to the service hatch above that Arata had smashed a hole through. Quickly, he jumped through the hole, grabbing the top and pulling himself up. As soon as he was up the shaft, he reached down, "Lift her up, Juniper!" If they wanted to get out of this mess, they would need to get through the hatch one at a time. "Juniper! Southpaw! Eresh!" One by one, the team would make their timely exits.

"SCREW YOU!"
FOX shouted as he kicked one of the Revenant clones back out of the elevator. There were hordes of them, but they didn't seem to be making a real effort to kill them. What the hell was going on? "Naomi, block it!" With her giant steel tiles and strength, she could probably plug the elevator doors long enough for the rest of the team to get out. Once Chevalier and FOX were up the hatch, the Ronin threw a fresh magazine into his rifle. "Naomi, let's go!" He prepared to cover her as she opened the floodgates.

Flying into Tia's construct of metal webs, Valkyrie let loose a powerful squall, clenching her teeth as she tried to divert the pain from her wounds. Never before had Valkyrie been so badly wounded. Her mind wanted to die, but her body wouldn't allow it. As Tia rushed to her side, Valkyrie tried to respond. She wanted to tell her that she was okay, but the blood that came gushing out of her mouth made her message the complete opposite. Her body was limp, the NOAH unable to move as her vision began to fade...
As Jill administered care for her own wound, she quickly noticed that Monad had few intentions of following her advice. As the NOAH rose to her feet, preparing to capture their assailant between the frames of her fingertips, Jill attempted to stop her. "NO!" She shouted, knowing that her words would be in vain. As the scene was instantaneously reversed, Jill knew that the die had been cast.

"Ach! Careful, Alex!" A pained cry escaped Jill's lips as she was brought to her feet with the help of Crusader. She threw her good arm over the Ronin's shoulder, wincing in pain as the pair pushed off towards the hallway. They only had a few moments to find safety, to make María's sacrifice worth it. "Damnit, María!" She gasped as she moved as quickly as she could. She could have died peacefully, but noooooo, Monad just had to give her a second chance.

...fading back into consciousness, Valkyrie found herself being carried by a familiar figure. "Gaia?" Valkyrie mumbled, albeit incoherently. She had no idea what was happening, her crimson eyes lulling back and forth slowly. "Leave me, you idiot." She begged, this time able to enunciate her words more clearly. As her fellow NOAH cradled her and made for safety, she couldn't help but feel guilty for the burden she placed on her comrades' shoulders.

Naomi took a leaf out of Junipers book and began using the metal plates to shield bash the clones away from the group, shoving them back by the load as they advanced. Those that made it around her defense were quickly dispatched by the others and for a time it seemed their formation was proving to hold quite well, though anyone with half a brain would know it was just a matter of time before they were indeed overwhelmed by the room of Praetorians. The Titan continued to bash them away as she backed toward the elevator, ensuring everyone was inside before doing as FOX said and plugging the elevator entrance with the plates.

She held them steady as each member climbed out of the escape hatch, looking over her shoulder when FOX mentioned it was time to leave, her red eyes moving to his weapon as she noticed he was taking a defensive stance, her brow furrowing. "I don't think so" she said as she turned, leaving the plates to hold for themselves for the moment as she walked over to FOX and grabbed him by the collar, holding him up to the hatch with each for Gillian to pull him up. If they broke through now, they'd have to deal with Naomi and she could take a many more amount of hits than the RONIN could before going down.

Naomi was about to climb up before she heard the plates faltering to the assault of Revenant. She was out of time, she'd be caught with her back to the slaughter of she climbed now. "Go! I'll be right behind you!" she called up before facing the steel plates. She raised her fist back to her side, bending her elbow as if preparing to deliver a hard right handed punch, the metal plates on the gauntlet shifting and moving as ventilation shafts opened on the gauntlets side, a sharp hiss escaping as they vented air. Naomi waited for her moment, waiting for the steel plates to fall away from the elevators entrance.

The Titan exhaled all the air from her lungs as she threw her fist forward letting forth a heavy shock wave blast that'd knock back anything and everything in front of her with overwhelming force, splintering bones and critically damaging the nervous system. The facility would shake from the concussive force and the elevator would whine as metal twisted and bent under the strain. It would undoubtedly not be enough to stop the Praetorian but the heavy AOE attack would hopefully ground him long enough for them to put some space between them. Naomi would quickly make for the hatch, jumping and catching the edge of it before pulling herself up and through to join the others.

"What the hell is this shit?!" Eresh growled, throwing the heel of her foot into another approaching clone. Her foot found its way into his... no it's chest, detonating the torso in a mess of blood and gore. Limbs fell flat onto the ground, adding to the already squeaky noise of Revenants walking across seas of red. She wanted to mention King and his powers, but the name stopped in her throat, like someone trying to prevent themselves from being carried down a flume of water by stretching out their hands and legs. She kept at her work, shredding what was clearly mere fodder to the true Revenant, all while backing up into the restored elevator. Was that Revenant's intention, or had he miscalculated his ability to stop them before they could make a break for it?

Just as she'd thrown a swipe with her hand over the skull of another, pelting the floor with bits of bone that embedded themselves like shrapnel, the elevator entrance was suddenly closed off by Naomi's efforts. Eresh kept her fists up, nevertheless, entire arms and legs now illuminated by the vehicle's lights. She was drenched, but seemed less aware of it than others might have been. As her heel touched the back of the elevator, her attention was drawn to the open hatch above. An initial attempt to grab hold of the hatch's ledge was futile; her hands were simply too slick with blood to get a good grip. The state finally had Eresh realize just how dirtied she'd become, though she could do little more on the consideration than to flick her arms vigorously, throwing off as much of the blood as she could. With another attempt, she gripped tight and lifted herself up.

At the top of the elevator, Eresh wasted no time in continuing the climb. The cables offered a rope with which to ascend, but taking that route wouldn't offer any additional help to anyone else. A faster way was available to her. With a grunt, Eresh leaped upwards a couple feet, digging her fingers into the concrete exterior of the shaft. Her hands bore molten divets into the structure -makeshift bouldering handles. She continued the motion as swiftly as possible, lest she begin to slide down and lose her progress.

At the top, she could easily make way for the others by tearing the door down... if she could remember which door to even stop at.

Alex shook his head a bit, as he helped to Jill along, down the hall, and deeper into the facility. "Don't whine too much...I swear from my memory, you always enjoyed when men were rougher. Or was it women?" The Ronin joked. It wasn't often he found the time, or desire to laugh, but in the stress of being shot at, and chased by another bastard with magical powers. It seemed like a better time than any to do so. Knowing his limits, he holstered his handgun. "Sorry about this Jill. But you're too slow with a bullet in your ankle." As he spoke, he stopped for a splint second to take his free arm, and use it to pick Jill up.

Certainly he hadn't planned on carry Stingray when he woke up that morning, nor had Alex intended to do so in a princess carry. However, it was easier to move this way. Better than forcing someone so severely wounded to keep walking. "If you can still shoot with your good arm, I suggest you start doing so. I've got you, I won't drop you. As long as you don't shoot me on accident, and I don't get shot in the fucking back by some cleric."

Looking toward Gaia, and Valkyrie, the ronin shook his head a bit. "You'd have to catch me first, if you wanted to stab me Gaia. I know how to disappear quite easily after this is all finished." He finally said, seeming to have kept the threat from earlier 100% in his mind. "Valkyrie, we don't leave anyone wounded behind, unless we simply can't save them. So unless you plan to drop in the next few seconds, get over it."

GOgnKzr.jpg
Dmitry did everything in his power to help cleave through several of the clones. His massive claws slicing clone, after clone into several pieces. Some spit in two, others into four, depending on how exactly the NOAH managed to swing his fists. Without any proper guns, it was really his only way to keep fighting. As his firearms were left, crushed under a horde of clones within the facility below. Standing atop the elevator, he gave a sigh. There was no sign of exhaustion, or even a hint of being lightly tired in his stance, or his expression. Shaking his hands a bit, he worked to get off some of the blood on his claws.

"So the only way is up I take it?" He asked, watching Eresh simply start to climb up the wall. Retracting his claws, he grabbed onto one of the many cables. "I guess that's a yes." He muttered, starting to pull himself up as quickly as he could. However he let himself down after a few moments. There was no reason to abandon the group, some were injured, and others simply not as physically powerful as others. If anything, every NOAH was going to be necessary, to keep the few non-NOAH present alive. After all, Revenant wasn't a simple case to deal with, he was practically a living hell of a person with the powers he had. If NOAH were abominations, then by all means, Revenant was an eldritch horror by comparison.

"Gillian, what's your plan here? We can't stand here on an elevator to nowhere all day."

Gaia gave a smirk in Alexander's direction much more pleased with that response before it faded and she turned her attention back to Valkyrie being carried in a pair of the golem's arms. "Our RONIN over there is right." She said to Valkyrie as they continued on; however, Gaia paused silently for a moment as she looked forwards but seemed to still be speaking to Valkyrie. "Calling me an idiot won't get you what you want...besides..." Gaia began to speak in a lower volumed tone so that only Valkyrie could hear it. "...I've lost enough people I look up to already." The younger NOAH had heard plenty of stories from FEARLESS members in the now destroyed NIGHTMARE branch about Valkyrie, user of RAGNAROK. The tales created an almost admiration for the NOAH Gaia had never met until recent days so much so that it shaped some of the techniques she uses with her own ELEGANCE.

"Let me be your blades, just for a little while." As if on command the golem's other four arms which still wielded metal blades crisscrossed in a defensive position around the carried NOAH as it continued moving forwards.

"Ars Goetia, Malthus Set."

"All units, this is KNIGHT Command. All forces withdraw immediately. Project FENRIR is active."

"I repeat, FENRIR is ACTIVE."

"...may God have mercy upon their souls."
Commander Vaskus lurched from within his metal sarcophagus, the metal behemoth roaring as his ultimate machination whirred to life. The Lord Commander's technical prowess, matched with his indomitable will and insatiable bloodlust fueled the perfect amalgamation of Ecclesian military technology. Project FENRIR was the final of the Oracle Projects, a campaign which, upon completion, would render the Lord Commander nigh indestructible.

Watching the minuscule pixels upon his thermal visage scurry for safety, Vaskus prepared to unleash the full firepower of his single-manned war machine. "Targets locked... Power output: maximum..." His weapons would kill, destroy, INCINERATE the remainder of the FEARLESS rats with one strike. As the machine bore its arsenal of weaponry, the machine began to siphon power from its pilot, feeding the massive flux of energy needed to command such a monstrosity.

As the guns of Valhalla prepared to eviscerate the entrance, a familiar voice chirped from his communications. "Watch it, Vaskus. Even with your skills, using FENRIR's full capabilities can cause permanent-"

"FENRIR. AD VITAM ÆTERNAM!" The Lord Commander disregarded his colleague's advice, FENRIR belching forth a terrifying cacophony of Ecclesian firepower. Bolts of plasma, flames, missiles and machine gun fire of various calibers shredded the entrance to the military facility, smashing through the architecture and tearing away at what little hovels remained for the FEARLESS rats. As the machine slowly ceased its rampage, flames and rubble was all that remained of the entryway.

"You missed, idiot."

"No. Monad got in my way. A silly gimmick, one that she wont be able to repeat."

"I see. Project CRIMSON is becoming quite a problem, isn't she? Shall I eliminate her?"

"The King was supposed to be mine. As far as I'm concerned, she belongs to me."

"Heh, alright. Fair enough. As long as Miss Hamilton and Golem bitch die by my hands."

"Fine. It seems we have them trapped in the hallway. I believe it's their turn to make a move."

With Naomi's efforts buying the team time, FOX and Gillian watched as Eresh grabbed the elevator cable line first, climbing upwards before the two men followed suit. "It's two doors up! Cut through it!" FOX bellowed to Eresh from below, waiting for her to make an exit for the team. As Naomi came up the elevator shaft, a sea of cackling Revenants poured into the elevator, clamoring through the small entryway as they tried to pull Naomi back down.

"Naomi! Grab the line!" Chevalier barked, waiting for the last person on the team to grab hold. As soon as she was holding on, Chevalier swung Durandal with great strength, slicing the elevator cable into two. His metal gauntlet grabbed the end of the cable as the elevator descended into a free fall, sending the elevator into the limitless black abyss below.

"Holy... how far do you think that goes?" FOX gulped. He had always hated heights.

"Let's not find out." The team ascended the elevator shaft, each member hopping off of the elevator cable and through an entryway that Eresh made for them. As the final members of the team stepped into the familiar hallway, they noticed the remainder of their group approaching from the other side.

"Shit! What happened?!" FOX lowered his rifle, running towards the group. The Ronin helped Gaia lift Ashlynn down to the ground, laying the most physically wounded of the NOAH across the hard floor. While a bed would have been ideal, FOX would have to blame the Ecclesians for not hiding their military secrets in five star hotels. A quick inspection of Valkyrie was enough to horrify any medic. There was no way that anyone could survive Valkyrie's current wounds, yet she continued to breathe.

"Jill!" Gillian ran to Stingray's side, noticing the blood that ran down the side of her arm.

"I'm fine. María's pretty fucked up, though. I stabilized her, but then she used her goddamn ability again." Jill bit her lip, turning towards the rest of the team. "We were holding. Not well, but FURY came and fucked us up."

"We ran into Revenant below. We managed to escape, barely."

"The schematics? You get them? Wait. Where's Arata?"

"Yeah, we got 'em," Gillian motioned towards the new figure in the crowd. "Arata went missing before the fight started. I was hoping he was with you guys."

"He'll be back. His sword won't allow him to miss the bloodshed."

The conversation was interrupted by a sudden gasp from Valkyrie. The NOAH coughed up more blood as crimson eyes guided themselves to the ceiling. She placed her hand against the wound in her chest, watching helplessly as blood continued to spill from her body like a fountain. "Fuck. Am I dying?" Ashlynn clenched her teeth, pained tears mixing with the blood that was on her face. There was so much blood... so much blood....

How could anybody survive this? Valkyrie's body felt cold. Was this what it felt like to die?

"Eresh, you mind lending me a hand?" FOX dumped his medical supplies from his bag. After how much blood Valkyrie had already lost, it didn't seem likely that anything they did would save her. But that didn't mean she had to die alone. "Hold these real quick." He placed the supplies into Eresh's hands before applying pressure upon the wounds.

"Gaia's the only one from our team without major wounds." Jill remarked, "We can't stay here. We need to get out as soon as we can."

Knowing that they were sandwiched between Revenant and Fury gave Gillian few options. "Well, we can't go out the front. Any ideas?"

"If we go up the elevator shaft, there's a helicopter that we can use to escape." Honoka explained.

"A heli-what?"

"A helicopter. It's like a car that flies." Chevalier explained, "Sounds like our best shot, except I cut the elevator loose. I don't think our team can climb that far." Who needs a flying car when you can have Jill as a driver?

"Tia or Gaia could make a pathway for us to go up. We need to go up three levels. If we get there, I can fly all of us out of here."

Alex looked at the rest of the group, he slipped his pistol into his holster, and lifted up his rifle again. Pushing another magazine into the mag well, he racked the AK-74's bolt again, another round in the chamber. He was careful to set the weapon into semi-automatic fire now. "I'm fine, no injuries that I know of. I'm low on ammo however, just two magazines total." He explained briefly.

Hearing the escape plan, he leaned up against the wall, and shook his head. "Alright, let's do it. I don't care, as long as it gets us out of this hellhole. There's some crazy, fucking kill everyone bastard, coming behind us. We don't have time to stand and chat." Looking behind his back, he made sure the hulking Fury wasn't behind them.

Reaching to his back, he made sure the rocket launcher was still on his back. "Correction, two magazines for my rifle, two for my pistol...and a rocket launcher. I thought I lost this earlier, thank God I didn't." Alexander remarked, with a soft sigh Looking toward the new woman however, he took a moment to question who she was. Trying to figure it out with saying anything...however he was a battle weary ronin, he didn't really have the brainpower to decipher it. All he had was the rage and aggression needed to get them out of this hell hole. "I'll figure out who you are, later."

GOgnKzr.jpg
"If needed, I could scout ahead. It's not hard for me to climb through any ventilation shafts this facility might have." Dmitry offered, as he let his claws slide back inside of his skin. Shivering a bit at the sensation, it was something he had never gotten used to, even after years of killing nearly every cleric he came across. He without a rifle, a handgun, or even his shotgun now. All he had were his claws, and his raw agility. Only functioning on Elegance was something he didn't do often.

It was hellfire and it was home, a black blur dashing past the roaring engine of Mixuki, unnoticed by its tunnel-visioning driver. The wreckage and ruin were familiar, nostalgic like watching a video recording of his past. The blood, the cooking flesh, the great unknown that he continued to run and run away from, it was all much too real, much too familiar. The bitter nostalgia that wasn't accentuated by any sort of sweetness. It made his teeth fall apart and his stomach do flips, but all that discomfort couldn't match the sheer hunger that roared into his neurotransmitters and made him blind to all other desires.

It was falling apart, peeling off like ancient wallpaper, the façade of his humanity replaced by the moon-devouring beast that had always existed beneath the surface. Hungering. Bestial. Unrelenting. The savage hero that he could have been.

The words of a faraway world spoke back to him.

It could have been a sword that created as well.

But that was a lie.

Creation wasn't resurrection, and if he couldn't turn back the clock and change ashes to humans, what the hell was the point? The black beast continued to speed down the hallway, over collapsed ceilings, through veils of flames, searching searching searching, until the miracle of the hunt presented itself to him.

Another beast of black, a carapace of onyx masking their form, stood before him, the shell hiding a beating heart beneath.

Ah, there it was.

His distraction.

qTZh6ib.png

His prey.

GENOCIDE, the close combat specialist wielding the Weapon of Massacre. Incomprehensible amounts of combat prowess in exchange for uncontrollable bloodlust. With Arminius's dolls down below, it was no wonder GENOCIDE had sought to escape and seek a living, breathing target instead.

Underneath the mask of Malthus, the Anti-Army Module, Vaskus smiled grimly. RAGNAROK had been a disappointment, while both THUNDERBIRD and CREATION had been annoyances at the very best. Perhaps GENOCIDE would be a worthy target for testing the power of the FENRIR module then?

As if responding to his wishes, the suit purred, siphoning more power in anticipation, a hundred weapon modules fanning out. The Lord Commander could feel it, feel his bones creak and his nerves scream, but over all that, he could feel his heart pound. Fight or flight. Ram or run. Live or die.

The fury of New Eccelesia's highest military commander overflowed, drowning all else out in the face of adversity. Roaring to life, a true bullet hell rained down upon the black blur, saturating the immediate area with the prominence of the sun itself, metal and flame fusing into a molten hell.

And within that hell, the wielder of Regana-Hier survived.

The face of Death was a boy with red rings burned into his inkstone eyes, black taint marring his pale skin.

"Ars Goetia."

The face of Death was a demonic sword unmarred by years of combat, tearing through time and space to sunder his soul.

"Andras Set."

The face of Death was the sarcophagus he sealed himself in every battle, knowing that one day, that coffin would not open again.

The ringing of divine metals resonated with the echoing thunder of Malthus's salvo, Regana-Hier buried into the side of a black coffin that had fallen from the heavens. There was no surprise, no emotion at all in GENOCIDE's face, but the delay in further action served Vaskus's purposes regardless.

Bearing new black armor, lupine-themed with twin jets expanding from his back like wings, the Lord Commander grabbed the Lionheart's wrists, crushed them into pulp under talon-like gauntlets, and, blue flame accelerating his actions, tossed the youth into an apartment complex three hundred meters away.

A small explosion of concrete dust was enough to assure Vaskus that the immediate threat had been dealt with.

The remainders of the Anti-Paladin Module, Andras, pixelated into the form of a greatsword, reminiscent of a bird's wing. Taking it in hand, Vaskus fired up his jets once more, blasting into the ruined facility.

It was only apt that a bird hunted down vermin, no?

ZLBrFzO.jpg

"Eh? Escape by helicopter? That sounds like a great plan! Props guys!"

That irritating, disembodied voice sounded once more, echoing through the hallways and the elevator shaft.

"I honestly thought you bunch would be losing hope at this point, yah know? Be prepping your little suicide pact deal? After all, your only REAL medic is busy getting a heart attack, your ace is bleeding all over the floor, and mah brother from another mother just turned your little boy toy into paste."

The click clack of boots could be heard, but where was it coming from?

"Now, because I'm an ever merciful ally of justice, always willing to give unforgivable sinners like you another chance, my offer still stands! Offer me Honoka's head and each one of you gets to go home untouched!"

They could literally hear his wink and his smile in his annoyingly cheerful tone.

"Better make it quick though. Old man Vasky's gonna get here soon, and once he does…well, you know, he wasn't even wearing his fancy power suit when he bent Ashlynn over and had his way with her. Now that he is…well, chances are you'll all be dead before you even know it, condemned to an eternity of burning in hell for rejecting the offer of the second coming of the Holy Father~"

And suddenly, that all-encompassing voice sounded directly behind Juniper, Arminius's voice darkening, his breath tickling her right ear.

"Ah. No salvation for you though."

Two hands pressed against her back, before a superhumanly powerful push smashed her into the interior of the elevator, the former Paladin form slipping out of sight a moment later. Was that enough?

Eh, he could check later.

Appearing amidst the remnants of FEARLESS, REVENANT smiled at them all, an innocent monster out-of-place amongst the bloodied and desperate.

"Now, what do the rest of you say? I'm sure Eresh will be willing to tell you tons about all the wonderful treatment she received for selling out her comrades and becoming the late King Alexander's little cocksleeve! How else would she have remained so healthy after all those years, hmm?"

GOgnKzr.jpg
Dmitry at a moments notice had his claws drawn out again, looking everywhere for the annoying little prick, that was Revenant. Watching Juniper completely tossed aside, like a rag doll, rather than a human. Quickly he shifted his position to stand in front of Honoka. "Not happening, you sissy, church boy fuck." The cat was almost growling his words out. "For fucks sake, you look like more of a woman than half of this entire God Forsaken state. I bet the higher ups in the church enjoyed taking turns with you. Working your way up the ranks, on your knees." He spat.

As he spoke, he look toward the nearest ventilation shaft, a little grin on his lips, "Go on everyone, let the cat dance. I'm sure Revenant always wanted a pet. It must be awfully lonely at the church with just old men."

Staring at Revenant, the cat didn't give the other Praetorian time to react, he just lunged forward after this string of insults. There was no flourish, or fancy gestures to his movements. These were as cold and calculating as any expert fighters would be. At the end of his lunge, two quick swipes were made, all in an attempt to even wound Revenant. The cat now had a plan of escape, he just had to buy time for the rest of his team to get away from this hell hole.

FqHzxI3.jpg
Alexander didn't hesitate to start moving down the hall after Southpaw made his move. The man wasn't about to waste ammo, though Juniper was more than likely dead, or seriously wounded at this point. The man grabbed the woman that everyone was so concerned with, Honoka. He was the least injured Ronin at this point, however he knew he could likely protect her at the very least.

With Arata dead, at least there was one positive note...he didn't have to worry about his own team killing him. "Come on, three stories right? Let's fucking go, I don't want to die in this hell hole!" The ronin spoke quickly as he moved forward, trying his best to get ahead of everyone. Mostly to make sure that if there were more guards in the facility, at least he would take the first hit, rather than another team member.

Hurriedly screeching the brakes and dispelling her motorcycle once she neared the elevator, Tia landed in a crouched position on the facility floor whilst still tightly keeping a hold of the fellow NOAH around her shoulder, her desperate, muffled murmuring under her helmet nearly inaudible.
"Stay with me... stay with me... stay with me. Remember my promise. Stay with me... stay with me..."

She was grateful to see the other team was more or less okay - save for Arata, who'd ran past her in a blur - grateful enough to actually keep a cool and listen to the others as they came up with the next course of action.

"Flying... c-car...?" Tia curiously echoed as the phrase was mentioned, cocking her head sideways slightly. The situations may have been dire, but she was a driver at heart, and something like that sounded too epic to ignore.

That one little moment, however, was short-lived as Tia realized how broken the situation was becoming. Someone she didn't even know knew her damn codename. Not only that, but the female stranger was dressed in a set of clothes that seemed to make Tia visually squirm with fear and discomfort whenever she lay eyes on them. Just looking at those clothes reminded her of those torture sessions she thought would never end...

Not only that, but Valkyrie was bleeding out amongst them, the life slowly draining from her eyes despite Tia's previous efforts to try and patch her up. Arata, fully consumed by the hunger of his ELEGANCE, had charged for the commander and been discarded. As determined as she was to get María out alive, seeing all these events unfold pierced into Tia's last remnants of hope like a spear. ...Was María even going to make it? Was she ever going to wake up? Was this whole mission - despite the promises - a pointless, slaughter-filled suicide?

There were too many problems with the whole situation. Too many, too many, too many, "too many, too many, too ma---!"

No, no no NO NO NO [glow=gold]NO[/glow] -- she wasn't going to give up. The stakes were too high, and time was too short for her to lose it here. Holding tightly onto María, as exhausted as Tia was, she still had enough in her to use her ELEGANCE to quickly get everyone up the elevator. Beginning to rip off a metal plate from the floor - more or less the same size as the flooring of the original elevator - doing this was going to take some time.

"I'll get us up. T-that... hell-copter thing is our only hope..."

As the shorter of the two Praetorian - who she'd only fully noticed now in the haze of events that were happening - began to talk, she figured now was the perfect time to stall for time by talking back. She was hardly paying attention to his tainted words; to his pitiful attempt to try and hide the grinning demon that was clearly within him.
"...Seriously? Either it's comedy hour, or... you're actually serious. We both know it's too late for bargains, even if you weren't just s-screwin' around," The helmet-clad girl shakily responded, body trembling with exhaustion as opposed to fear, "Even if you offered us the best damn deal ever, we wouldn't care. Not even your people care at this point... so just stop, save your energy, and see what happens. We're gonna change this place for the bette--"

Cutting off as the feline NOAH lunged straight for the young-looking guy, Tia was grateful for the further distraction as the metal plate was mere seconds off coming loose. Of course, neither of the two Praetorian were just going to 'stop', but even if she was just stalling, the girl was speaking from whatever heart was left at this point.

*SHHRRRRKKKK--*

Noticing the metal plate had finally been fully ripped off, Tia widened her eyes, before hurriedly placing the hovering sheet of metal into the elevator shaft. With her ELEGANCE, she could easily just make her own elevator, but would they be able to reach the roof in time? Fuck it. There wasn't time to calculate, they just had to move.

"Everyone, get on, quick!"

Putting up whatever scrap metal was left in the scene for makeshift cover and a final distraction, as useless as Tia knew a stunt like that would be, perhaps there were others who could put the minature, floating wall to good use. Once everyone was on her makeshift elevator, she'd propel everyone to the roof. She supposed she'd have to use her ELEGANCE on Naomi to 'make her lighter' by pulling her up a bit, too, but she was sure her fellow NOAH was starting to get used to the weird sensation.

Her last bit of blind trust was being put in someone she didn't even fully know, but other than putting up a pointless fight, she saw little other options for the group.

Gaia's mind was racing at this point as the two groups reunited. The multi armed golem gently handing Valkyrie down to the floor next to Fox. As Revenant was mentioned however, Gaia's racing thoughts in regards to evacuation and other actions slowly began to drift away. Even the thoughts in regards to the woman in the lab coat; how she knew Gaia's callsign and her powers. She quickly put two and two together having a vague idea of who the woman might be but those became secondary quite quickly.

Then...she heard him...that fucking voice emanating from the single person whom she wanted to completely end the existence of more than anything in this world. As Revenant was speaking Gaia hugged herself tightly as she began to blush. Not only did she begin to smile which was already odd but the smile was creepy and twisted in nature. She was more than happy, she was ecstatic that the so called ally of justice had saved her the trouble of searching for him.

The NOAH's eyes were darting as she saw Juniper get super shoved into the empty by Revenant. With an almost instinctual speed Gaia pointed a finger at the former paladin just before she fell out of sight. The golem immediately sprung into action sheathing it's swords as it sprints past everyone and leaps down into the shaft after Juniper; its mission to help keep her alive and bring her back to the group in anyway it could.

She couldn't hold herself in check any longer as she began to burst out into hysterical cheerful laughter; hugging around her stomach as if she'd just heard the funniest joke in the world. Once she finally stopped after a moment she stared over at Revenant. Everyone's verbal jabs at the praetorian were indeed amusing.

"You seem to love telling others how you praetorians are always having your way with others don't you~?" The NOAH slowly drew her sword and limply hold it at her side; continuing to smile wickedly.

"Thank you Mr. Second Coming...I now know what's been missing amongst most of the ""FEARLESS"" I've known~" Gaia's eyes were gapping open as if relishing within a realization lined with an aura of bloodlust.

"They've been so busy trying to make themselves appear fearless that they've forgotten to make their enemies fear them~" Her smile now become more sinister in nature rather than psychotic as she began to take slow steps towards the praetorian.

"If you don't fear death, boy,...then I'll just have you fear me~"

"So lets see what happens after I do whatever I want with you for a little while shall we~?

With that Gaia dashes the rest of the way in time with Dmitry only Gaia was instead going for a decapitation attempt for the back of Revenant's neck with her sword while the cat took the front.

At the sight of Valkyrie's wounds, Eresh stifled a choking noise, practically puking up her terror. She could do little to maintain her composure than to follow FOX's orders, sliding up beside the girl with a half-angered, half-frightened expression.

"Damnit Ashylnn. You can't just... you can't just tell me to be safe and then go and bleed like this when I get back," Eresh protested, holding the medical supplies with similarly bloodied hands. Tender eyes drifted from pained desperation to furious rage. Here they were. A team of monsters, and yet she still felt as vulnerable and weak as ever. The bloodied ragdoll form of her friend did little to dissuade the despair.

"I only just got here. I can't be as cool as you if you die," Eresh continued, dutifully handing FOX the materials as he requested them, "And it'll suck if we lose that coolness." The bloodstained NOAH offered the best smile she could muster, grabbing hold of Valkyrie's shoulder. The grip tightened as Revenant's voice returned to haunt them.

Her eyes closed, and her teeth grit as nightmarish memories surfaced in her mind's eye. Eresh let go of Ashlynn, her hand wandering to one of the many scars hidden beneath her shirt. Her breath struggled to enter her lungs for a split second before she decided that this wasn't the time to remember. Eresh stood up and faced the dwarven praetorian, blue eyes burning holes like her hands could. She would say -couldn't say- nothing of her crimes against her own brothers and sisters, but the look on her face seemed entirely dismissive of the charge as Revenant was positing it.

"This kid sure loves talking dirty," she said, half to herself. "Keep coming after us if you want. I'll meet you head on if you try to pull on my friends what was done to me. I swear it." Eresh turned to grab Ashlynn as best she could, hauling her to the rickety elevator substitute. "I'll sooner die myself than see anyone here have to listen to you yap on and on like I did with King."

They had finally managed to rendezvous with the rest of the team and while the Titan held hope that regrouping would make them stronger, the sight of them made her heart sink in her chest, wondering what on earth they had faced to have forced them into a full retreat and in such a poor condition.

Naomi had remained mostly silent as conversations continued, paying attention to what was being said before looking around as Honoka mentioned some kind of Helicopter… thing, whatever the hell that was. Revenant soon turned up despite their attempts to slow him down, seeming to talk more shit which caused Naomi to roll her eyes.

"This kid…" she muttered to herself before her brow furrowed at the mention of something else coming this way, presumably the thing which had forced the defending team to retreat to begin with. The Titan paused to consider options for a moment, looking back down the long metal hallways before turning to FOX and Gillian.

"I'm gonna go slow down whatever the fuck is coming this way, do whatever you have to do here. I'll catch up or if worse come to worst… make my own way out" she said before she turned and started to run, turning to call back at them as she jogged backwards for a moment, "And do something about the sexually frustrated psycho kid!".

FOX, who had been too focused on administering first aid to the mortally wounded Valkyrie, only caught wind of Naomi's intentions towards the end. "Wait. I don't think that's a very good-" The Ronin halted mid sentence, realizing the futility to his words. No, it was quite evident that Naomi wasn't about to listen to him. "Stay safe." He added with a frown, holding pressure down on one of Valkyrie's wounds. It felt like anything he did at this point was going to be inconsequential.

Naomi gave a thumbs up in response before she turned and quickened her pace down the metal hall towards whatever the hell had managed to push the team back. Admittedly she was nervous, which considering how tough she could be to kill was saying a lot. But whatever had managed to push the team back in that condition must be strong. 'Knock it off, you'll be fine... you're always fine...' she thought to herself, "Not like I'm running to my death or anything, or talking to myself to avoid the fact I'm actually nervous... " she said to herself as she approached the other end of the facility.

She'd just about arrived when something huge boosted its way inside from the destroyed entrance, causing her to raise her arm to guard against the dust blown around in it's wake. When the dust settled she set her eyes upon the large black suit of armor, furrowing her brow before one of them raised. "... A tank... man?" she said aloud. "Or are you a robot...." she followed up with, wondering just what in the fuck was standing in front of her.

As sensors alerted him of the presence of an approaching hostile, Vaskus slowed his flight until he merely hovered, plumed sword at the ready as she spoke out. Naomi, callsign Titan. High durability and destructive ability, though lacking in speed and technique. The one who killed the King, but certainly not the one who orchestrated the chain of events leading to his death. Blue flame disperse from his jet-wings as the Andras Set landed, standing imposingly within the flickering lights of the hallway.

The second test of Project FENRIR's capabilities then. Vaskus suppressed a wince as needles dug into his spine, siphoning more energy and granting him more power in return.

"Ready yourself, worm."

Naomi placed her hands on her hips as she cocked her head to the side, staring up at the giant tin man. "Sooo not a robot then... " she replied, observing the black armored thing before raising both her eyebrows, "Alright even I have to admit that thing is pretty cool" she commented, clearly having no real understanding of the actual danger she was in which was pretty typical of her honestly. In a literal blink of an eye her eyes turned red, large mechanical hands manifesting which she punched together with a smirk, Naomi had cracked many tanks in the past, what difference was a walking one.

"Not even gonna do first names huh?"

There was no answer, only the flaring of flame as Vaskus's jet wings ignited, red lines tracing over the grooves of his black sarcophagus. The hallway was a one way road, but he had seen the recordings of TITAN's clashes with the King. If that vacuous man's half-baked power was enough to break her, then the pinnacle of Project ORACLE would be more than sufficient for making her fall to her knees.

The roar of the engines was deafening as Vaskus rocketed down the hallway, the area behind him melting into slag as he spiralled towards TITAN, sword readied in front.

Naomi watched as the thing powered itself up before propelling itself towards her at staggering speed. "... Not a talker, got it" she mentioned, probably more to herself given just how loud this machine was. She kicked off her back foot as she ran towards the mechanical monster, throwing her hands backwards before discharging two shockwaves to double up her own speed, causing the metal of the hall behind her to warp a little. As she charged she pulled back a fist to prepare, leading her left fist forward, her combat enhancement feeding limited information based only on what she could observe in that moment.

A combat solution readied itself in her mind, asking from her to put some distance between the sword and the machine, after all it was a weapon that had lethal potential depending on its properties. Arata's sword could cleave through her body and knowing that meant it'd be stupid to assume he'd be the only one who could.

As the opposing forces closed in towards each other Naomi would throw her fist to the right and blast herself towards the left wall, using it for a moment to gain footing as she crouched before springing herself towards the mech, aiming to throw a heavy punch towards the flat side of the sword to dislodge it.

But she was a beat too slow.

The combat enhancement program installed within her mind was out of date, after all. Too slow, feeding too little data into the mind of its user. By the time TITAN's optimal course had been decided, FURY's own sensors and programs had already plotted out the possibility, his mind entering hyperdrive as his reactions accelerated to the extent that time seemed to be moving half as fast.

As Naomi's fist drove itself towards the flat of the plumed sword, the blade disassembled, scattering into a storm of razor sharp feathers as the Andras Set converted forward momentum into rotational force. The bladed feathers latched onto FURY's armored boot as he delivered a heavy axe-kick on TITAN's back, sending the NOAH bouncing up and down the hallway.

It was almost satisfying, watching a human become a bouncy ball.

For Naomi it all happened so fast that she wasn't entirely sure what happened, though being turned into a skipping stone wasn't a welcome result nor the one she was expecting. The Titan let out an 'oof' sound as she hit the ground for the final time, recovering as she got herself to her feet seeming pretty unharmed all things considered, save for her pride. "Alright... what the fuck" she commented before recomposing a combat stance. This thing was inconceivably fast and strong enough to physically bounce her off a metal floor.... with it's foot.

The young girl of five foot five stretched her back, "Good shot..." she called to the tin man before grounding her stance, dropping her weight to center her gravity. The plates of her gauntlet shifted and slid as they reconfigured, changing up her combat stance form a faster technique to one which more designed around stronger hits and overwhelming force. Bending her knees she slammed both fists into the ground, ripping up two floor plates like she had done in the lab, hoisting them up like she was wielding dual shields before she began to walk forwards this time.

Her walk would pick up into a jog and then up again into a full sprint as she closed towards the machine again. The sword was gone, so her objective had been somewhat achieved, never the less this tin man was more than what it seemed in the surface, more than just a walking tank. Her combat enhancement worked itself again, adapting, changing with the new information as several more solutions presented themselves. Naomi would close towards the mech and launch her left shield towards the tin man's shoulder joint, aiming to stagger it before following up with a patented Juniper shield bash with the right towards it'd head.

A veritable wall rushed up towards him, but if Project FENRIR didn't even have enough firepower to deal with a single sheet of metal, Vaskus would have personally beheaded every scientist within Project ORACLE. The first sheet of metal was knocked aside with a backhanded blow, orange sparks bursting as it slid against the adjacent wall. The second was evaded completely, as FURY's jet wings burst aflame, somersaulting him up and over the head-level strike.

Feet pushing off the ceiling, the armored warrior landed behind Naomi and grabbed her by her nigh indestructible hair. Without even a grunt to demonstrate exertion, Vaskus pulled her up and over, hurling her further down into hallway. As the three hundred pound Titan sailed into the darkness, those wings flared to life with brilliant prominence, catapulting him down the hallway at an even greater speed before he delivered a double kick that accelerated her even further.

She was losing ground, fast. If she wanted to hold her ground, hold off this monolith of extradimensional steel, TITAN was going to have to take drastic measures.

The way it moved, so much faster and so much stronger without seeming to really be trying. Naomi wasn't used to being thrown around like a ragdoll, it was a new experience and one she didn't care for. Her usual methods, the go-to moves and tactics weren't cutting it. She'd been bounced off the ground and now thrown down the hall as if she were nothing more than a football, only King had moved her with such force which made her really question what this machine was and what might be controlling it.

Naomi's eyes widened as her hair was grabbed and she let out a grunt as a mechanical foot sent her flying down the hall till she eventually landed, hitting the floor and flipping over herself before eventually coming to a stop, groaning as she recovered. "Alright... " she said as she took herself up onto one knee, exhaling out as she stood up fully, "Now you've gone and pissed me off... ". In the space of a few minutes the machine had gained a third of the hallway towards where her friends were, if she didn't pull out the stop here her attempts would be in vain.

She set her eyes upon the advancing machine, letting her mind think back to the others that lay further down the metal hallway. All of them had given so much, lost so much and gained so little... to have come so far now just to be pulped by some walking tank and a teenager who desperately needed to get laid... it was wrong, so wrong. Arata, Tia, Maria, Valk, Eresh, Gaia, Juniper, Alex, Fox, Jill, Gillian and even Dmitry, their names moved through her mind, each of them an independant story of pain and suffering.

It couldn't end like this, it wasn't fair... they were so close. "I don't know who... or what you are. Frankly I don't give a fuck, but you're not getting past me... you hear me?" She took a deep breath, letting her Elegance feed into her body, the pain, anguish and upset manifesting from the pit of her mortal core to empower the Titan and make her truly the devastating force she was created to be. "Witness, Fury" a surge of power rushed through her body, doubling the size of her fists which crackled with red sparks of energy shifting between the plates as they shuffled to embrace her empowered form.

Her eyes burned brightly than ever and her face was contorted in an expression which could only be described as pure hate and contempt. Control was still hers, was it the will to will to steadfast in the protection of her friends, or was it perhaps something else? something different that the Titan was fighting for now. It mattered little now, Naomi was ready to engage at the maximum destructive force her body could project, the true show of force that awarded her the moniker of Titan.

Naomi began to walk towards Vaskus. There was no more words, no feed from her neural enhancement to find an optimal combat solution, there was just the beautiful agony the girl had become, a vessel of hate and unwavering will to destroy. As such, she refused to be moved, refused to waver in the face of this adversity. This machine would be stopped here and allowed no further, even if she had to spend the rest of her existence fighting it here and now, in a bloody deadlock of exchanged blows.

Naomi's massive mechanical gauntlets whirred with power as red electric spat between the plates, metal fingers curling into fists as she began to pick up her pace, a walk turning into a jog, a jog turning into a run before a run turned in a full on sprint. She let out a war cry of anger, a shout that'd scatter lesser willed opponents from the sheer vicious ferocity brought by ever taken step. She charged Vaskus head on, raising her fist before she planted her right foot hard against the floor, crumpling the metal under her foot before slamming her fist towards his, a single line of thought clear in her mind.

'You will not get past me!'

Tactics, strategy, intelligence, rationality all told him to dodge, to use his superior speed to drive past the enraged TITAN, taking advantage of her berserk state to outwit her. But that wouldn't make for a good test, and strategy?

Strategy was what the weak used, not the strong. Not the Lord Commander of all CLERIC forces within New Eccelesia, not the Grand Field Marshal who was armed with the greatest weapon mankind had ever known. Before the ELEGANT might of TITAN, he'll call forth the very depths of his power and force her to submit to superior strength. Within the black sarcophagus, Vaskus grit his teet, bared his fangs, and roared out.

"AD VITAM ÆTERNAM!"

Red lines flared up in the cracks of the Andras Set, turning as incandescent as the corona of the sun, jet-wings spewing white flame as Vaskus propelled himself forward to meet TITAN, FURY incarnate. The razor feathers formed over his gauntleted fist as he launched a blow to match her own, surpassing the speed of sound as metal struck metal.

Clang!

Both fists repelled at the tremendous impact, fluorescent lighting tubes shattering as the walls bent outwards from the shockwave, but Vaskus wasn't done yet. Even if she had met him with strength alone, Project FENRIR encapsulated all combat stats to create the perfect all-rounder!

One became two became four became a dozen, as jet powered punches rained down on TITAN with the speed of machinegun fire, each as earth shattering as the last..

Naomi felt the force of her fist strike against his, the consequential shock wave washing over them both as the world around them warped and twisted in the wake of their combined power. The raven haired Titan had never met an opponent that could match her for strength, let alone one which retained the ability to surpass her if need be. This was a true challenge, a test unlike that she'd ever faced before. Could she beat the machine alone... no, perhaps not. But then what was her goal here, 'Hold him back!'.

Each of his punches was met by her own, smashing raw anger against the onslaught of the machine's speed and matching strength, sometimes sliding under or between a punch only to roll and hook her fist into the next incoming impact. Naomi shifted her weight as her foot planted back, rolling under the next punch before she shot her right arm forward, catching the left fist of Vaskus in her mechanical gauntlet before the fingers crushed around it, straining as both metal alloys fought against the pressure, the crushing power of Naomi's hand against the density of Vaskus' armor.

She'd catch the inevitable strike from his other fist, locking in the grapple, to which she was sure he'd attempt to use the boosters to seek his advantage and throw her off. "Like fuck you're getting away that easy!" she'd shout angrily, slamming her leg against the knee joint of the mech to temporarily pause it from jumping before she'd pull the mech's arms towards her and downwards, slamming her head against the helmet of the mech to physically force Vaskus back, for perhaps the first time during the entire engagement.

It was a clarion call as synthetic flesh struck otherworldly steel, a single star bursting in the vision of FURY as he lurched back from the blow, more out of surprise than anything else. Through the coffin, he felt that, and it only made his heart pound more violently, more fervently. Oh, that was pure hilarity right there, using one's head when their arm was many times greater.

"You BITCH."

Amusement and belligerency fused together as the armored PRAETORIAN answered with a headbutt of his own, razor plumage encasing his skull to create a hammer-wedge that would part the flesh of even the indomitable.

When her head struck against the armor of the mech she barely felt it herself, her rage pushing her body beyond the barriers of pain, her Elegance demanding that her body hold unwavering against any and all punishment and to deal out an overwhelming force to obliterate her opposition. His response only excited her own adrenaline, after all nothing pleased hate like the sound of your enemy getting angry. Naomi simply sneered, seeming pleased with her work as the mech lurched back before her expression darkened seeing the quick transformation of the mech's head.

Most of the attacks this thing was shelling out seemed to use that same feathered aesthetic, though the reasons why that was escaped the Titan that released the mechanical beasts arms as it prepared to return the headbut. Naomi would reach and grab hold of the plumage with both hands, a roar like growl of anger escaping her body as she attempted to bring the head to slam against the floor using his own momentum, pulling back her fist as she aimed for something more important, 'Clip the fuckers wings!' she would aim to slam her fist against the jet propulsion system.

As TITAN's fists closed over the razor plumage, the feathers parted away from the black helmet, leaving her grasping nothing at all. But Vaskus's body dropped regardless, the corona of his jet-wings bursting with beams of plasma as he tackled TITAN, the massive propulsive force pulling them both airborne.

Even as impacts struck the wings, causing occasional spirals, smashing the two juggernauts through a wall or a ceiling or a floor, the damage was irrelevant. If the path was simply to gain ground, it didn't matter how many fucking walls he drove TITAN through! In this battle for territory, he would win.

She felt every single impact through every single surface she was smashed against and put through. But she would not yield, the TITAN of this world would not bend a knee to this machine of war and death, she would give everything till her last breath was squeezed from her lungs before she'd give up. Screams of her enraged fury filled the halls as she slammed against his wings over and over again, unrelenting in her punches while the other fist held onto the mech to keep the two intertwined in their aerial dance of death.

After many consecutive punches the wing had started to bend, unable to contend with the overwhelming force of her relentless impacts as the giant gauntlet crackled and spat violent red sparks with every connection. Naomi reached and clamped her fist around the base of the wing, fingers wrapping it tightly before she gave an angry growl, metal whining as she ripped the wing clean from the mechanical monstrosity. The two of them crashed once more, the impact causing blood to spatter across her chin from the corner of her mouth as her organs sustained critical damage.

Of course they would start to regenerate as her elegance drove her onwards, the TITAN refusing to give in, refusing to let herself be overcome by this weapon built specifically to put them in graves. Naomi wielded the wing in her grip like a sword, the metal tip burning red from the heat of the plasma from the jet propulsion system which also seemed to have burned her fist from overexposure to the heated plasma. The neural enhancement was warning her that the fist would be compromised if she wasn't more careful.

Red lightning raced up and down the heavily damaged propulsion system, igniting the plasma chambers within before everything burst in an uncontrollable sunburst of flame. In that infinite instance, metal walls vaporized as the area around them was transformed into a hellscape. The pillar of white flame pierced through seven concrete-and-steel ceilings, before bursting outwards into a blinding tower visible for miles around.

And, at the very epicenter of the hellish inferno, the ominous shadow remained standing, plumage peeling off one by one, as the raven-phoenix molted.

Recovering from the crash of their final destination, she stood to face the mechanical beast once again, wielding the heated wing beside her. His wings were clipped, time had been bought... she'd succeeded in stalling for her friends. The fight was soon reaching its fruition, one soon to overcome the other in this brutal exchange of blows. "WHO ARE YOU!?" she shouted, demanding an answer from her opponent, a name for the one who met her strength as equal, the only opponent that ever has.

"Ars Goetia. Leraikha Set."

With a clap of black lightning, the third sarcophagus descended into hellfire, a billion distinct plates spreading outwards to consume him once more. He embraced it fully, a dozen needles in return for his acceptance. A slimmer form, more elegant, refined, as a great bow pixelated into existence through his extended hand, the divine warhead manifesting in his other.

"It appears that if I am to bring you down, my past efforts will not suffice."

An otherworldly wind swirled around him, molten metal cooled into onyx-black within an instant.

"Be proud, TITAN. The valor of mere vermin has earned you the right of my name!"

Every part of his body thrummed as he drew back the projectile, a golden flame trailing out of the Leraikha Set's right eye.

"The Lord Commander of New Eccelesia, Vaskus Adrian Mansteinn, stands before you! Show me the depths of your might, or be reduced to cinders!"

Twenty-four starlit blazes converged into one, a golden radiance unmatched by the paltry torchwick of Andras's wings. With a calamitous roar, the arrow of the gods fired, a spiralling meteor driving through the nightscape of the destructed hallway.

"SAGITTARIUS INCAENDIUM!"

Naomi's hard expression didn't change as her opponent finally revealed himself and who he was, red eyes glaring with hate and loathing as the mech once again transformed, more than likely into another devastating weapon. The Titan bared her teeth as she planted her foot behind her, readying her stance to stand strong as she prepared to meet the new challenge. Similar to the attack she'd thrown at Revenant in the lab, Naomi pulled her fist back and as Vaskus released his godly projectile, letting out a growl of anger as she threw everything she had into one heavy blast from her gauntlet.

A violent red wave burst forth from her fist which spat more red sparks as it traveled towards Vaskus, warping the already destroyed and twisted metal of the hallway into more distorted angular shapes. Naomi never saw her salvo reach its mark as his blazing projectile found her almost instantly after she'd thrown it, exploding and enveloping her in flame and light. The agony of her flesh burning caused her to scream as she was launched the test of the way down the hallway, her fists detonating into a secondary explosion that immediately followed from having absorbed the brunt of the projectiles firepower.

Her body bounced and rolled, shards of metal caught in the wake of the explosion shredding her flesh as she traveled, eventually coming to a stop back near the group at the elevator. Naomi breathed heavily as she rolled onto her back, arms outstretched as she stared at the warped metal ceiling, her flesh slowly regenerating as metal shards were pushed out of her skin. Her clothes were shredded too, though fortunately not nearly as much as they had been when they fought King. After a moment she started to slowly get herself up, groaning as the fatigue from her Fury took its toll on her.

'There's nothing more I can do for now'

What felt like hours seemed to have passed after Naomi left them to go fight whatever horror lay down the hallway. Alexander refused to leave however, patiently waiting for the young girl to return. After all, he was a bartender, a brother...and more importantly, in the end, a caretaker to everyone that ever stepped foot inside the business he used to run. At least, that was his own analysis of who he was. Despite the NOAH around him, trying to fight Revenant, or even find an easy way out of this all. Alexander still found himself able to stand firmly.

Listening to the deafening sounds of two titans clashing, was just as exhilirating, as it was terrifying. Much like the roar of his once beloved chainsword, there was a certain sweetness to the chaos. A scream, an explosion...noises that personally he'd never had the pleasure of hearing until that day. The ronin stood with his weapon ready, watching to make sure nothing would come back to haunt them. After all, Revenant wasn't his problem anymore. He trusted his comrades to take care of that. Now his problem was ensuring the survival of everyone that he possibly could.

Yet as time seemed to finally stop standing still, a blinding light came from down the hall. Covering his eyes, even with the reduced power and fury of it all, it was still enough to leave him flinching. And streaking across the floor, came Naomi. Heavily wounded, but regenerating like normal. Alexander moved himself quickly, bending down onto one knee, and wrapping an arm around the girl. "Easy Naomi. Breath, just breath. I'm here for you. I know, I'm not Fox...but he's got his hands tied up with another girl right now." He joked, trying to lighten the mood even a hint. Mostly it was an attempt at making sure the Titan stayed conscious and aware. Handgun raised with his other free hand, he still was ready to drop at it moment's notice to keep Naomi from collapsing if her exhaustion was too much to handle.

"Tia has a way out I think. We can sort this little teenage shit out later." He said, a bit more generally, trying to rally the unfocused team around him back into one unit.

As much as FOX would have loved to stay and fight alongside Naomi, the mission had to continue. With half the team wounded, emergency extraction was their only remaining option. As Southpaw and Gaia lashed out towards Revenant, FOX planned to carry out the emergency extraction. "Alright! We're getting out of here! Let's get the wounded through the elevator first!" FOX handed the wounded Valkyrie off to Eresh, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Eresh. Take Valkyrie and go up first. Keep an eye on her, alright? She's a stubborn bitch and I'd be more afraid of her than the Praetorians if we left her here."

"I can still hear you." Valkyrie growled weakly, unable to do anything more as her limp weight was transferred over into Eresh's arms. The wounded NOAH averted her gaze towards her friend, "You're going to get blood all over you. Sorry Eresh." She frowned. As soon as it was time to leave Jill stood up, slinging her weight over Gillian's shoulder as the pair followed up after Eresh and Valkyrie into the elevator shaft. They only had a short amount of time to do this, the clash between Naomi and Fury already underway outside.

Between the confusion, FOX watched as Gaia and Southpaw double teamed Revenant. In one slash, Gaia sliced the Praetorian's head cleanly off of his shoulders. It didn't take a genius to realize that Revenant was still toying with them, the Praetorian wouldn't be felled so easily. But until the Praetorian put all of his cards on the table, he might as well have been invincible. The Praetorian's corpse fell to the floor, his still grinning head rolling soaking the once sterile tile beneath him in blood.

"Alright! Juniper take--" FOX looked around, unable to find Juniper in the confusion. They had too many wounded... and not enough people to carry them. The Ronin threw his rifle strap over his shoulder, reaching down to pick up María off of the ground. While Valkyrie was certainly the most wounded of the bunch, FOX could tell that María was struggling just as much as her. "I've got you." FOX cradled the NOAH in his arms, unsure if she was able to hear him or not.

"Alex! Make sure you get the rest of the team up the elevator! Nobody gets left behind!" FOX shouted as he followed the rest of the team into the elevator. The situation was looking more dire by the minute. They had to escape. There was simply too many wounded to continue fighting like this. "Send us up, Tia!" FOX shouted, waiting for the elevator to take them to the hanger floor. While splitting the team up was the last thing FOX wanted to do, he wasn't sure how much weight Tia would be able to lift... and someone had to help Naomi if she needed support.

The lift slowly gravitated several floors up, until the Japanese Researcher pushed herself between the team. "This is it. Let's go!" FOX handed María off to Honoka momentarily, pulling out a crowbar from his backpack and wedging it into the elevator door. Forcing the door open, the team was met with the sight of a massive open space, a large, flat loading bay that seemed to reach on forever. "I'll bring up the helicopter using the computer terminal." Honoka pointed towards the terminal at the other side of the hanger, gently placing the wounded María down onto the ground. "Make sure you get everyone ready to get on board."

"FOOLS! Did you think escape would be so easy?!" Jumping through the hanger bay opening, FURY would stand between FEARLESS and their escape. The metal behemoth crashed against the ground, causing the hanger to shake in its wake. Fenrir had suffered damages after its engagement with Titan, but the machination was still fully capable of wiping out the wounded remnants of FEARLESS. "Are you ready to die like the dogs you are?" Crimson eyes illuminated the machine, the whirring of gears announcing his intent to strike once more.

There would be no escape for these rebel dogs.

The only way past hell was directly through it.

Watching those who'd started to fight to buy others time, seeing even TITAN get swatted away by Vaskus only added to the wave of stress coming over her as she waited in the makeshift 'elevator'. As Eresh seemed to be the last of the non-fighting bunch to run inside, Tia looked up at her with the one good eye inside her broken helmet.

"Y-Your Elegance... can it... destroy anything? As long as you can get close enough to touch him, would it be possible to..." Tia's burnt and exhausted voice wheezed, but it was clear she was desperately trying to cling to any theory she could at this point; her voice quickly dissipating into more inaudible mumbling, her eye looking around in a mixture of worry and horror towards her injured comrades.

Lightly shaking her head, she gave a nod at Fox's command. Before she sent the elevator flying upwards, however, she summoned Mixuki next to her on the metal platform, before sending wire shooting off straight for Naomi. As it touched her, some sort of golden 'spark' seemed to travel through the wire, before it recoiled straight back into Tia's spool.

The new 'complex metallic object' had been bound. She could only hope this would work to get the others up the shaft.

Not wasting another second, it thankfully didn't take a huge amount of effort on the exhausted Tia's part to send the elevator going upwards a few floors. The levitating plate screeching to a halt, a burst of air travelling down the dark and empty shaft, Tia hurriedly shouted down her communications to those who hadn't made it to the elevator on time.

"Anyone not on the elevator right now... you need to hold on to Naomi! You've got ten seconds..."
Once those ten seconds had passed, Tia took a deep breath as Vaskus made a re-appearance. No time to consider it. She just had to do it.

I just hope this works...

[glow=cyan]"TITAN, to me."[/glow]

It had worked.

Out of nowhere, the injured form of Naomi - along with all allies that had been touching her - materialized in front of Tia, joining the others at the top of the hangar at the same time as FURY made his grand entrance. Not even listening to the Commander's words, a shortlived smile of relief came from under Tia's helmet, before she approached the injured Naomi.

With her ELEGANCE by itself useless against Vaskus, there was only one option Tia had left to protect everyone the best she could, and give the remaining fighters enough power to allow them to fight as well. Putting a hand on Naomi's shoulder, Tia's body suddenly began to tremble, the trademark sound of her ELEGANCE beginning to activate sounding even louder than it usually did.

"I'm sorry. This is going to feel weird... o-okay? But... this is all that's left that I can do."

Closing her eyes for a brief moment, a sudden eruption of thick, deep-grey waves of energy came from Tia's screaming body. The whole body of the NOAH slumping over - twitching violently, but remaining standing - as she released all the magnetic energy she possibly could, droplets of blood seemed to be leaking out of the front of Tia's helmet.

And then, there was silence. Silence as all of the deep grey energy funneled into Naomi's body, all of the pieces of metal and the bullets inside her being expelled out of her all at once as she did. It had been just like what Tia had done at the King fight, but the level of power she was putting in now compared to then... it was needless to say it was much, much more potent.

The pieces of metallic mesh that'd ripped inside Naomi's body seemed to knit back together at an increased rate. Her exhaustion seemed to fade away. Her body had been imbued with all the magnetic power Tia could muster, adding a second 'layer' of force to all of her actions, improving her speed, power, and allowing her to 'fly' and perform actions that would otherwise be impossible due to gravity.

And although she didn't have the strength to raise her voice - only stay slumped, bleeding, and barely upright with a hand raised like a zombie - the voice of the NOAH seemed to come in Naomi's mind as if she were right next to her the whole time, sounding just like her old self, though with a tone more solemn and serious.

[glow=cyan]...Hey. Sorry for making you get back on your feet, gal'. You probably deserve a break right about now, right?[/glow][glow=cyan][/glow]

More power flooded into Naomi. Metallic objects near her were torn away, levitating around her to only add to her already extremely high durability without slowing her down any further. A cluster of weapons that'd been stored inside Tia's bike flooded out from the compartment within, weightlessly floating beside Naomi, all pointing at FURY at once.

[glow=cyan]But this is the only way I can think of to have a chance of beating him along with everyone else. You put a dent in him before just by yourself... so now... how 'bout we see what we can do together?[/glow][glow=cyan][/glow]

A sudden, overwhelming magnetic pulse echoed throughout the top of the hangar, accompanied by the sound of countless firearms clacking off a safety switch all at once, the empowered body of TITAN radiating with the energy of her fellow NOAH.
