Scooby looked over at Isis. " Rell, ri ruess re rould ro rand rigure rout rho ris rying,"*1 he said. " Rand rope rit ris rot ra rap ror romeone rhat right ret rus rilled,"*2 he muttered under his breath, clearly worried.

*1 Well, I guess we should go and figure out who is crying

*2 And hope it is not a trap for someone that might get us killed

Steven nodded. " Okay, let's go and do that," he said to Vector.

Before long, the group would find what appeared to be a small a small reptilian child with flaming hands. Whom was also the source of the crying. And was surrounded by the ash bodies of the lady soldiers.

Adam cautiously walked closer, stopping when the child noticed the group. "S-stay back!" The child said, stepping back.

"We're not here to hurt you...." Adam said, holding his hands up.

The child kept on backing up.

"We just want to know what happened..." Adam didn't want to use the CASIE Augmentation on a child. But if things came to that, he'll do it.

He looked to Scooby and Isis to see if they wanted to add in their attempt of convincing the child to tell them what happened.

Edward looked at the gear in the back of Sorena's car.

"I think I'll stick with what I have......Mostly because I don't really know about most of these items, and we don't have time to go over them." He said, as he went to the front doors of the complex, the guards gone to most likely to be reinforcements against the suit.

Vector walked past the police and paramedics, none of the two giving him a side glance. Most likely, thinking he was part of the police force or something along those lines.

He took the stairs down rather than the elevator. Afterall, it'd take ages to go down when police and paramedics are going up..
 
Scooby wasn't sure what to make of this situation as he looked at the reptillian child with flaming hands was the source of the crying. If he hadn't knew that, he was travelling the multiverse he might be stay.

The child seemed to be scared of what it had done- or perhaps what the others had done to him. He honestly couldn't tell.

He watched as Adam tried to reason with her and held his hands up.

The child kept backing up for some reason.

He couldn't argue for things to be better but he hoped that the child didn't hurt them too. He looked at the ground wondering if he could be of help/

" Rit's rokay, re rare rhere ro rix rhatever ris reing rhanged," *1 he said, as he couldn't think of a bigger argument to do too.

*1 It's okay, we are there to fix whatever is being changed

Steven took a moment to get past the cops and they didn't bother him either as they must have guessed he was with the other guys and he went down the stairs.

What was the mess they have to changed? It seemed like this problem would have worked out just fine . . . . for once. He wondered.

The child continued to back up.

Adam crouched down, so that he was at eye level.

"Don't worry......All we want is to know what happened here....Can you do that for us?" The child stopped backing up, but was cautious.

"What's your name? Mine's Adam.....Adam Jensen." He was using one of the tactics he learned while in SWAT.

The child was reluctant, before replying. "Andro." "Nice name. Unique....We're going to help.....But we need to know what happened." Adam said.

Andro responded with shaky breaths. "W-well, me and a few friends were heading up to visit m-my aunt....When these p-people showed....They dragged monsters out of their homes. Shooting any that r-rebelled..." Andro looked like he was on the brink of another breakdown. So Adam finished up. "Ok.....No more.....Is there any place you know that is one hundred percent, safe?"

"T-the two skeleton brothers....They live out from the main areas...." Andro said. "Ok....Head there. Stick to the shadows.....And if you need our help right away. Press this button." Adam said as he pulled out a tracker that Sarif gave him. He didn't need it since most of the things he done, didn't require a tracker.

Andro gently took the tracker, before nodding at him. After that, he got up and ran off away from the group and into the forest.

"C'mon....Let's find the source of these soldiers." Adam said, his voice a little bit more "gravelly."

"Seems the costumed boy was a old friend. Judging by how one of the teens knew his name. Robin. And that masked man was an adversary. Which begs the question. Why would their friend side with their enemy?" Vector said.
 
Scooby was starting to see the theme.

He noticed that he got down to eye level with the small child too.

Scooby noticed how catious he was around the older man, hopefully he was making the right choice in taking the time to talk him down.

It semeed that the man was trying to get the boy's trust by confiding in him too. He looked at the ground for a brief moment.

Andro, Scooby had come across some pretty weird names when solving mysteries but he had never met an andro. There seemed to be a first time for everything.

He noticed that the boy was just trying to defend his home, he wasn't a bad person and that was a good thing too. He thought that the child was just a bad person and that they had fallen into a trap too and he looked at him. He hoped that there was a safe place for the boy too as many people might still come to look for him too. He bit down on his lower lip, not quite certain now.

Had he heard the boy right? Skeleton. He started to make several faces that seemed to noticed a level of fear if anyone was paying close enough attention to what he was saying too. He looked at the ground too and wondered what had changed that made the man decide he needed the tracker now as he would put it. (Here's the meme for that. Yay Tumblr has this)

He watched him go off with the tracker and he took a deep breath. He had a feeling that he knew what was going to be coming next.

Well, he didn't want to deal with those damn soliders but he had no choice, horray for no decisions.

Steven nodded. " It does seem that way, this Robin seemed to be an ally of some sort to them and the other man- Slade seems to be an enemy. This Slade must have something over the kid or have something that may harm his friends," he said.

(Sorry guys. I'm slacking.)

"I'll teach ya later then." Sorena said as she closed the trunk. "Now, let's go get Suit up there." She said, cocking a handgun as she headed for the doors.

Isis listened to the kid. "We'll get them, don't worry." She said, making it a promise as only Fairy Tail wizards seem to do. "They're dealing with Fairy Tail now."
 
As Edward and Sorena went inside the building, they'd find that it was deserted, more than likely most of the staff were evacuated, or were apart of the security force sent to deal with the intruder. And from the lack of gunshots, that meant things weren't looking good for security.

But when they reached the floor that the man in the suit had entered via window. They'd find the remains of the guards.

Casings and guns littered the floor, their owners nearby, bleeding out the holes in their chests, or their necks snapped.

In one case for an unlucky soldier, his head had a fist shaped hole in his skull.

It only got worse from there.

"Reminds me of the streets of Yharnam......Only less crazed people." Edward said. Keeping an eye out for the man in the suit.

"Mind control?" Vector said.

He stopped once he was out of the way of the police.

In what appeared to be the center of town, there seemed to be a lot more of the soldiers, but this time there was a elderly man in a trench coat.

With what seemed to be monster civilians in the center. Each being evaluated for some reason.

"Too many of them...With too many innocents in the crossfire.....We need a game plan." Adam said as he crouched behind a wall.
 
Sorena scanned the scene of carnage. "I've never seen anything like this." She said. "And I've seen a lot of shit."

Isis nodded in agreement. "As much as I want to, I know we can't just rush in." She said. "Got any ideas?"
 
The trail of death continued until it stopped at a set of doors.

Edward cautiously walked forward, opening the doors to find a corridor with a few doors on each side..

Silence hung in the air, to the point it was unbearable.

Edward whispered to Sorena. "Want to investigate all of the doors together, or individually?"

"Flank around, try and spot an opening, once you do so. Try and cause a commotion big enough to allow the civilians to escape." Adam said.

Nearby, there seemed to be this blur of movement, against the snow, it appeared to be this greenish outline. Adam snapped his attention to it, but it was too fast. Disappeared.

"Keep an eye out......I am getting a feeling we're not alone." He commented as he snuck forward, enough so that he could pick up something the old man was saying.

"-keep searching them. One of them must know where the artifact is."

'Artifact? What is he talking about?' He snuck close enough to have a clear eye on the old man.

Sorena shakes her head. "Splitting up might end badly." She said. "Not sure what we're up against. Might need all our firepower to take him out."

Isis nodded. "Right. I can create a diversion."
 
Steven shrugged. " Perhaps it is mind control or perhaps it is manipulation. I know there was a time that my father was manipulated to protect me into doing some horrible things. Hopefully we can defeat him and their enemy, even though we are one man down," he said.

Scooby looked at Adam. " Rhat ran ri ro?"*1 He asked uncertain how he could help.

*1 What can I do?
 
"Well, you can try-" Before Adam could give a suggestion, a few of the lady soldiers suddenly started to fall apart, like something had sliced them up.

Infact, several more of them shared the same fate before the rest of the soldiers turned from the civilians to try and locate their attacker.

Which soon revealed itself in the form of a man appearing out of thin air.

The old man's expression went from anger to shock. "How are you not-" He was cut off by the man speaking. "Dead? I guess you didn't try hard enough with the Metal Gear Rex."

The soldiers tried to gun him down, but the almost ninja-esqe man deflected the majority of the bullets back at the soldiers. The civilians took the chance to run. The elderly man walked off, with an escort of the lady soldiers. Two soldiers near the civilians attempted to shoot them.

Seeing this, Adam ran out of cover and at the two soldiers. Once he got close enough, his arm opened up with a blade extending forward into the chest of one. As the other soldier turned to blow his head off, his free arm opened up at the elbow, a blade extending out while he retracted the blade in the chest of the soldier. Slashing with the long elbow blade, he managed to redirected the line of fire so he could deliver a powerful sucker punch to the face of the soldier.

The man had taken care of the group of soldiers that had attempted to gun him down, and was now aiding Adam.

Three soldiers spotted Scooby and Isis, and thinking the two were unarmed. Pulled out what looked to be machetes. Running towards them, with the intent on killing them.

"Agreed." Vector said.

All of a sudden, what could be described as a miniature robot materialized before the two. Vector readied his weapon to shoot the robot, but it called out. "Wait! I-We're here to help!"

"We?" Vector repeated quietly. The answer came in the form of a man standing up from the grass. Wearing an odd looking suit and mask, which had the color of grass and the texture of dirt ground. The suit changed it color to a dark blue color.

He walked over to Steven and Vector. ".....Name's Snake, the person who is controlling the robot is a friend of mine. Hal Emmerich. Otherwise known as Otacon."

The robot said. "Nice to make your acquaintance."

Edward nodded, before looking at the set of doors.

"Which one do you want to investigate first?"
 
Sorena dug in her pocket and produced a quarter. "We'll flip a coin." She said. "Pick a door to be heads, the other tails."

Isis saw the soldiers advance on her and Scooby. "Get ready, dog." She said, taking a stance. "Ice Make, Floor!" She cried, touchingher hands to the ground. A sheet of ice spread out before her and under the feet of the advancing soldiers.
 
The soldiers slipped on the ice, dropping their machetes, and since they had fallen, they couldn't pick up their guns.

Edward pointed to the first two doors. "Left one is heads, and the right one is tails."
 
Steven was happy they were in agreement.

He noticed that there was a robot and he wasn't sure what to make of the situation. Was this a enemy who was trying to destroy them or if they were there to help the people of the area either.

He looked to see if there was anyone else but he didn't see anyone at first either until he looked over . It seemed that whoever was with him was a master of camflouge and had blended flawlessly with the grass of the area- an impressive skill indeed.

Snake. That was a strange, yet fitting name for the stranger to say the least bit. He had also introduced him to the robot who seemed to be there to help them too.

" I'm Steven Lasket," he said, introducing himself to the two others.

Scooby wasn't prepared, but was happy to see that the guard had slipped on the ice. He watched as their guns slid away. He looked in his bag and found his plunger arrows and aimed one at them.

Sorena tossed the coin in the air and caught it. "Call it." She told Edward. "What do you think it is, heads or tails?"

Isis straightened up as the soldiers slipped on her ice. She smiled and laughed. "Watching people slip on ice never gets old." She said as she walked across the ice. She kicked away whatever weapons that lay near the soldiers, sending guns and blades skittering across the ice.
 
One of the three soldiers comically got a plunger stuck to her mask, she tried to pull it off, but with the ice and the fact it was a plunger. That was next to impossible. The other two kept on falling over.

Adam and the ninja had finished up with the others.

Walking over to Isis and Scooby. Adam could only chuckle at the scene, while the ninja man stayed silent.

"So, who are you?" Adam said to the ninja.

Who replied with. "Gray Fox....."

"Heads...." Edward said, before heading to the door that was assigned to heads.

He waited outside it, not wanting to go in alone, while leaving Sorena momentarily alone in the corridor.

"We were sent to assist you......Where's the third member?" Snake said, his voice gravelly.

Vector shrugged. "We don't know. He flew off after a battle between a masked man and boy."

Snake was silent.
 
Scooby watched as one of the plungers actually stuck to the mask, making it harder for anyone to be able to remove. It seemed the other two were falling over on themselves as he would put it simply.

Scooby was kind of happy that he hadn't died in the slightest.

He looked over and wondered if all things were this simple or he was just lucky to be quite honest as he would put it.

Scooby waited for Adam to tel the stranger who he was.

Gray Fox was kind of a comically simple name.

Steven was happy to see that these were people who had been sent to help them by the others.

Steven looked at him. " I think he was taken with the other injured people to be quite honest," he said.

There was a silence too.

Sorena revealed the coin. "Heads it it." She said, pocketing the quarter. She joined Edward my the door. "On three." She said and started counting. On three, she kicked the door in.

Isis continued to laugh at the scene. One woman had plunger on her face. That in itself was funny. After Gray Fox introduced himself, Isis spoke. "I am Isis Harmon, an Ice Wizard from the Fairy Tail Guild." She said.
