Project: Einherjar (OOC/Characters)

1. I think we should have real world science with some room for a suspension of disbelief.

2. Skin tight anime suits a la G Gundam.

Also, being old, Professor Jones likely won't be a full time pilot. He'll only be out in the field when necessary.

I'm going to agree with Nier on this one. Realism is all well and good, but I'm not sure everyone would be on the same page.

As for suits, close fitting, because you can't really expect someone to sit in a cockpit in something bulky.

Alright, I can see where you're coming from. It might take me a little bit to figure out something, but I can make a new character sheet, most definitely. ^_^

They're full up, dude. I already asked.

... when exactly was it you asked, Parser? Can't find you saying anything in the thread.

I asked R-9 if there were any slots left via PM. He said no.
Well, he said it in more words and he was a whole lot nicer about it, but my point is that he said no.

That's good, not sure how you would read otherwise.

Name: Kilo Helmsiit
Age: 45
Appearance: Combed-back, dark hair, slightly larger teeth than most, manic, nervous expression.
Background: He is your average office worker from the midwest in charge of mail delivery. But this was not always so. He has lived an interesting life working as a child actor, popcorn vendor, army ranger, chemical weapons specialist for the FBI, and after being forced to resign in disgrace from the FBI, a weapon smuggler. But he left it all behind to live a quiet life and became a family man. But when the Guana killed his wife, and Project Einherjar took his daughter, he knew he had to do something. The Guana attacks left much of civilization in shambles, and much information was lost. He used that to his advantage to get a job running the mail office for Asgard. Now, he doesn't know if his daughter is still alive or dead, but he intends to find her and find out what secrets lay within the Einjerhar Project.

The biggest way I'd likely have the science-y stuff come up would be a sort of "don't exceed that maximum operational range on your displays, you won't be able to get back on your own" thing.

I was actually under the impression that Dr. Jones would pilot full-time, at the time I put a moratorium on more pilots. As-is, do think I'd still put a hard limit of no more than 4 or maybe 5 total.

Also, just a heads-up for you guys, but between a big international music festival in town and Dark Souls 2 coming out for PC, I may be rather scarce for the next few days.

Alright. Looking forward to seeing this continue, when it can.

I should probably just get things going right now, rather than wait. Because for whatever reason, I'm not in the mood to play DaS2 right now, and would rather mess around on the internet. And I will probably still be around, and probably at similar activity levels to the usual. But if I do disappear completely for a while, blame games and doing things away from the computer (and toss a PM if you really need to get at me for some reason).

Awesome. I'll be around and up to play.

Btw, you might want to consider starting up a group for the game. It's good for side stuff and other things that don't belong in the main IC (like if two characters wanted to converse on their own or whatnot.)

Hm, what to do... what to do... Also, death to those Guana bastards! And good thing the alarm system is working... it'd be a ripe shame if it failed...

Hope me going with the idea of automatic vs manual mode isn't a problem, it seems like a logical enough thing.

Like that delicious irony in the US. 18? Old enough to fight and die for the country. Still got a few years before you can buy liquor on your own.

You're never too young to fight and die for you country, Das.
