Name: Nakir Tinuval
Gender: Male
Race: High Elf
Age: 17
Magic Level: 8
Magic Colour: Golden bronze
Magic Type: Spellcasting: Eden (Fire, water, earth, air), can use pyromancy, aeromancy, and geomancy separately.
IQ: 167
Birthplace: Sephyria
Occupation: Student
Appearance: His eyes a bright golden bronze very closely match his hair, a honey blonde with a tint of brown that reaches down to his shoulders and drapes over his pointed ears, the tips poking through and leaving the rest covered. He leaves his hair untied and has bangs that, when not pushed out of the way, just cover the top of his eyebrows. His face is thin and gives him an appearance that matches his age if not slightly older. His wardrobe mostly consists of blacks and whites with the occasional shade of blue thrown in, being very casual as he doesn't care all that much about what he wears. Even with his ambition for strength his build is very average, being slightly above average height and having average weight.
Goal in Life: To simply be the strongest.
Fears: Finding something he can't beat eventually.
General Personality: Cocky, arrogant, and egotistical, Nakir firmly believes he will be the next level 9 and eventually 10, even if shown facts that say otherwise. He looks down on people weaker than him and doesn't consider them worth his time. He can sometimes appear very casual and sarcastic, not taking things that don't interest him seriously and just playing around. Even in a situation like a fight he will often mess around with his opponent if he believes he is substantially stronger, trying to prolong it and pull as much fun as possible from the conflict. Nakir also is seemingly unsympathetic and doesn't care what happens to other people, just as long as he gets what he wants. Calling him insane wouldn't be too far from the truth.
Inner Personality: He despises the idea of being weak and hates when people think they are stronger than him when they can't prove it. With that said, he highly respects someone who can show they are on the same level as him or can keep up with his toying around and will consider them a rival instead of an enemy. Nakir also has a soft spot for mundanes as, unlike low levels, they can't even try to become stronger, and though he'll have no problem disposing of one if he needs to, he'd prefer not to.
Secret: He denies the facts of the war and Ruin, as the idea of people being that much stronger than him gives him great anxiety. Because of this, he logically fears the idea of the level 9's, and though he tries to deny their existence like he does with the war, he knows deep down that they are real and alive.
History:
Nakir grew up as an exception in his family, being an extremely powerful spellcaster where his parents were much weaker than others. His community wasn't known for having powerful spellcasters, so he easily out-shined everyone around him. He was more skilled and gifted than anyone else his age, and that along with his parents constant praise and bragging about their son lead to him developing a love for power at the young age of seven. That feeling of being leagues above the competition was intoxicating, and he would often abuse his natural talent to get whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. Many believed that it was this kind of attitude from his son that drove his father away. However, the day that his father was supposed to move out of the house, he was nowhere to be seen. Many suspected Nakir had something to do with it, but with no solid evidence nothing could be done.
Shortly after his father went missing, Nakir's mother met another man, this one a human and mundane. Even though he was obviously much weaker than him, Nakir took a liking to the man as he seemed content with being unable to wield magic. It was strange to him. the idea of a level 1 being content with their power just meant that they had given up to him, though for a mundane he felt it was different. This didn't change Nakir's attitude to others though, and even when his mother married the human Nakir remained power hungry and egotistical.
At age 11, his parents had another child, this one a Nephalem. The news of the child sent Nakir into a mini depression. He knew that High-elfs and humans had the potential to produce children with unbelievable power, and the idea of being over-shadowed by his little brother ate away at his insides. He wanted to stay the strongest and not have anyone take away the feeling of power and strength he held throughout his childhood. One night, two months after the baby had been born, Nakir decided he wasn't going to take any risks and to guarantee he would remain the best in his area. He used his fire magic to burn down his place of residence along with his parents and the child that threatened to take away his power, not batting an eye as the ones who raised him were fried by his hands. Once again, no evidence was left to pin the crime on Nakir, so he was simply put up for adoption where he was taken in by a family of powerful spellcasters, though he was once again the strongest one there.
The war shook Nakir up a lot. Knowing he would have likely been unable to do anything if he'd encountered the god-like beings that were involved caused him great anxiety. This feeling of powerlessness plagued him for a while until he outright denied to himself that any of that was possible. He just couldn't accept that people with such power actually existed, and whenever someone told him otherwise he simply shook it off as them believing in a fairy tale. Any proof provided and solid evidence produced were all dismissed as falsified as he hid from the reality where he was overshadowed by those much more powerful than him. Since then Nakir has happily improved his strength and power in his own world inside his head, one where he is the pinnacle of power and nothing is stronger than him to a degree where he can't fight back.
Spells:
Fragmentalize
Range: 150 feet (average range)
A spell that uses a combination of lava and wind magic, Fragmentalize launches a large ball of hot lava that implodes in order to draw in the surrounding environment, only to explode shortly after with extreme force. Using pyromancy and geomancy in tandem to create lava, a large ball of magma with a hardened crust is launched into the desired area. With aeromancy, the ball then begins to implodes in on itself and the wind pulls in objects with alarming strength, easily tearing up buildings and roads. The point of implosion then releases pressure outwards, launching the reeled in objects as well as hot lava throughout the surrounding zone. The explosion itself causes massive damage and can rip apart concrete like it was thinner than paper. This all takes place in a span of 3 seconds. The range and power can be adjusted by using more or less willpower.
Perforation
Range: 100 feet
Using pyromancy, aeromancy, and geomancy, Perforation creates a pointed drill of wind, sand, and fire that can pierce through the hardest metals with ease. Simply put, aeromancy is used to create a wind current in the shape of a drill. The drill is imbued with fire and sand from the ground to increases destructive power. Once launched, the drill spins at a high velocity as it travels at extreme speeds, sending flames flicking off the drill. Making contact with an object will result in a seamless piercing of said obstacle as the sand enhances the piercing power. Once again, power and size can be adjusted.
He can also use spells such as fireball, windblast, barrage and of course aegis.
