Aeo blinked with surprise in his bear form, sitting atop the desk Amethyst had placed him at. Aeo had a good mind to turn into his tiger form and pounce on Kreskes at this point, but Aeo remained tolerant of the caretaker's childish teasing. As Hadlee stroked Aeo's pink fur, he gave something between a confused and a comforted growl... he didn't want to show it, but being petted was... comforting and nice. Perhaps Aeo was starting to see why some household animals loved being petted so much.

Hadlee and Amethyst's spells were... beautiful. The way you could touch the gently flickering flame and hold it in your hands made Aeo's ursine ears perk up with interest, and Aeo cocked his head to the side as Hadlee created the white butterfly, before it poofed into a pretty little explosion with a gust of cold air. Both of their abilities seemed so pretty - Aeo considered his own abilities a little... stupid... and silly. Sure, it could be useful sometimes... but other times, it just resulted in people laughing at him. If only everything he changed into wasn't associated with the colour pink somehow! Then he could actually discreetly change forms without people instantly knowing...

"Grrr... graghh grrah... grawr..." Aeo tried to say, only just remembering speech was nearly impossible in his non-fully developed bear form. When he'd fully mastered a form, he'd be able to keep his vocal cords the same - allowing him to speak like a human in that form. For forms he wasn't used to, it was quite the opposite. Hurriedly, he turned back into his human form, knowing it'd been enough time by now.

"Wow... that's really beautiful, you two... I still need... ah... practice." Aeo said properly this time, back to normal in form.

"Aeo? Would you care to explain why you're sitting atop Amethyst's desk?" Kreskes enquired. Noticing Kreskes was right, Aeo looked around himself confusedly before remembering Amethyst had placed him there; he blushed as he climbed back onto his seat, Kreskes chuckling in the background. He seemed impressed with everybody's abilities, and his golden eyes were watching the class with a mix of admiration and interest.

Aeo's ears gently lifted up as he heard a couple more people enter the class, and his face seemed to be somewhat intimidated when he saw Pollux. It wasn't that Pollux was a nasty person... it was just... not only did he look like a full-grown man, but he specialized at fighting. Aeo felt somewhat afraid that he might anger Pollux somehow, so he thought it best to keep his head down unsurely, being careful not to stare. Aeo's easily frightened personality got him into the thought train that he should stay out of Pollux's way... otherwise he might make him angry. Which, obviously, wasn't necessarily true.

And was a boy crying? Upon closer inspection, it seemed to be Citlali. He was a very curious child, and it wasn't often Aeo saw him so upset... what could be the matter? Aeo looked to Kreskes for help, but Kreskes seemed to be holding back. It was almost as if Kreskes was testing the class to see if they could calm the boy, and soon Amethyst sent a pretty rain of harmless fireworks above the alien boy's head. It certainly made Aeo's mouth swing open, and he hoped it'd be enough to calm the boy - Aeo hated to see people upset.

If Amethyst's trick or any others' tricks didn't work to comfort the child, Aeo was sure he had a few forms that could hopefully calm the boy... sure, he'd look like an idiot, but Aeo prioritized others' happiness over his dignity. When it came to being brave however... it was still a challenge for Aeo.

Rounding the corner with an uncharacteristically fast pace, Atlas found himself in a collision with a familiar white haired neko. It was certainly a surprise but his fast reflexes allowed him to reduce the impact. Before he himself could even recover, tiny arms were wrapped around his midsection in a tight, unexpected hug. He had been fully prepared to apologies to Momo but instead found himself being apologized too. Although he was thoroughly uncertain what could have caused the sudden display of affection, Atlas instinctively began running a soothing hand through the kittens hair in an attempt to pacify her.

As her grip began to loosen, he slowly pulled free and leaned down to face her. A reassuring smile visible on his lips.

"Of course, I would never pass spending time with my favorite kitten" He reassured, playfully running the tip of his index finger down her nose.

His cheerful disposition faltered however when he noticed the faint but fresh track of tears that glistened on the edges of her chin and sides of her slightly swollen eyes. Not wanting to appear anything but happy in front of Mo, Atlas firmly kept his smile in place.

A moment later another familiar sight emerged from the corridor. The Fae-Ghoul was a welcomed sight as the brown haired boy trudged over, clearly still sleepy though it was nearly half way through morning lessons. Speaking of lessons, wasn't he suppose to be practicing his abilities with Kreskes. However that thought was completely pushed aside when his mentioned what had occurred between his and Momo's meeting.

"Hate" Atlas began, his eyes widening incredulously. So that had been the reason behind her apology. A small, almost relieved laugh escaped him as he brought the feline girl in for a cuddle.

"I could never hate Momo-chan, not ever" He stated firmly before pulling back and giving a playful smile, "And Especially not forever"

Looking up, Atlas made eye contact with Jake before winking, creating an "O" with his hand, and pointing a finger right at him. It was a simple and silent way of saying "I owe you".

"Now before we go on our walk..." He began, lifting Momo up into his arms, "I think its time for your Jake Onii-chan to get to class"

In one swift move, he pushed open one of the double doors leading to the inside of the library where the tricksters class was being held. There were only a few minutes left anyways which would leave plenty of time for the three of them to take a stroll around the grounds. Upon opening it however, Atlas recognized a small little child sitting in the middle of the 'classroom' floor.

"Citlali?" Atlas exclaimed, eyebrows crinkling in a similar worried expression as Rayne. The young alien looked about ready to burst into tears.

Citlali
Citlali had tried to keep his tears back, but by the stares of Krekses and some of the other students he had been just as transparent as an air pocket on Mars. He could feel his shoulders start shaking as he tried to hold back sobs, which would be very loud and disturbing to the class if they didn't turn into hiccups first. The alien looked up when a fireball came his way, bursting into an array of silent colors that showered down harmlessly. The shock kept him still for a few seconds, but soon enough the tiny explosions made him start to bawl. Citlali hated explosions, especially silent ones. A silent explosion was the reason he was alone on this planet without either of his paternal figures. The alien boy pushed himself to his feet and turned suddenly when he heard a familiar voice say his name. He had finally found Atlas, but Atlas was accompanied by one of the weird ones. It wasn't the ears or tail that bothered him, it was something else that he didn't know how to explain.
"Atlas!" Citlali exclaimed before running to the taller male and burying his face in his stomach.
He was embarrassed and mad and scared all at once and the only way that he could express it was through crying. The alien kept a grip on Atlas's shirt, his tiny hands promising not to relinquish the older male for quite a long time.

Momo was stunned to learn that Atlas didn't hate her, but her surprise was soon turned into a great exuberance as he expressed his feelings toward walking with her.
"Nya! Momo loves Atlas-nya, and Jake-nya too!" Her cheeky grin remained as she listened to the two males.

"I think it's time for your Jake Onii-chan to get to class."
Momo giggled as she heard Atlas speak in her native tongue.

"Un! Jā matane, Onii-chan!" she exclaimed, meaning: "Yeah! See you later, big brother!"
Momo curiously watched the door to the library open, eager to see some of her friends. Atlas seemed to be troubled by something, but Momo was too occupied waving to everyone in the class to worry about it.

As soon as her tiny ball of flame burst into little fireworks, the alien boy cried. He cried.

Amethyst had never made someone cry before. Yes, she is a prankster but she tries her very best to never harm her victims. It's the golden rule of pranking: never hurt anyone. Besides, she hates to see people hurt because of her, it made her conscience feel funny and her guilt seems to chew on her heart.

"I-it w-was just f-fireworks! I swear!" she shouted, looking at everyone. She hated to be the center of attention, especially if she did something wrong. Their scrutinizing gaze sent shivers down her spine, as if she's a slide under a microscope being observed, being probed.

She didn't know what to do as the alien bawled his eyes out. She feels like it was her fault that the child cried, and that everyone is staring at her, thinking that she's the culprit for turning on the kid's waterworks.

She looked over Kreskes for some help but he watched her with his golden eyes, waiting for her to solve her own little problem.

She had never been so clueless in her life. To comfort a child is something she never got to do. Back then in the marsh, before she could help anyone, they'll run away from her, scared that they'll be sent into their doom. That is the fate of being a wil-o-the wisp, to be avoided.

That's why in the orphanage, she want to have as many friends as she can but the crying boy seems to prevent her from doing so. What if they hate her for making him cry? What if they think that she did it on purpose? What if they avoid me now? Her thoughts were filled with a lot of what ifs. She began to shrink in her seat, helpless and clueless, her flame getting droopy and sad.

Thinking of only one solution, she turned herself into a purple ball of flame and flew out of the room, running past the kids on the door and never looked back.

Atlas had looked pleased to see him, if not also slightly surprised; obviously both of the boys pretty much knew each others schedules by heart after rooming with each other for so many years. Atlas knew Jake was supposed to be in the class right now, and the half-blood boy could see the flash of realization in the Forest Spirit's kaleidoscope eyes. Jake did not look like he was much bothered at all, as this was not exactly the first time he was skipping some classes. Rather than feeling guilty about it, being the cheeky brat that he was, he just flashed a sharp toothed devious smirk. Atlas however was quickly directing his attention back to Momo, and the two made up fast and all was good in the world again. The way how well Atlas handled Momo had always eased Jake's mind, and watching the two act all adorable together was so cute that it made the half-breed want to puke rainbows.

The passing thought crossed his mind, making him go rigid for a second. Did he actually just think that? That his roommate was cute? Now Momo he could understand, but he had never really thought Atlas as cute before. Jake frowned, trying to collect his hazy tired thoughts that were obviously going into weird places, and squinted his eyes as he looked Atlas up and down like he was looking at the guy for the first time. Yeah... Yeah, he guessed he was kind of really adorable, actually. If you had a thing for bunnies. On a Forest Spirit level, Atlas was probably a solid... nine. Or maybe even ten? Nine and a half?

Suddenly the kaleidoscope eyes were flashed up at him, startling the Fae-Ghoul for the third time in the morning. Atlas winked and created an OK sign with his thumb and forefinger, wordlessly telling that Jake had been doing good job with Momo earlier, practically saving his hide from all kinds of nasty drama. Then the color changing eyes were again on the Neko, but they had left Jake rooted on the spot in somewhat of a bewildered shock.

Wait, had he actually just been checking out Atlas? The realization made him uncomfortable and awkward. No. Just... no. That was just weird. So much nope. Noping the fuck out of that. Oh hell no.

Atlas had lifted Momo up and declared that it was about time for Jake to go to class. The latter mentioned was so busy having a mental crisis that he did not even realize to protest. A somewhat disgusted shiver made the boy's skin rise in goosebumps, and he rubbed his arms. Maybe he had eaten something weird last night?

The library doors were pushed open, and Atlas who carried Momo in his arms stepped in. Jake followed close behind, so distracted by the confusion he was feeling right now that he did not notice that obviously they had just interrupted something that was going on in the class. The brown haired boy blinked back to the present only when the alien child had yelled Atlas' name and ran crying to his arms. Soon after, a flash of a purple ball of flame zoomed past Jake's face, too close for comfort, making him yelp in surprise and bounce to the side, the big transparent wings fluttering nervously and giving the jump more lift and length. Looking after the fireball that floated away in an obvious hurry, Jake realized it was the Will-o'-the-Wisp girl making a hasty retreat. Not quite understanding what was going on, Jake willed himself to step forward again, seeing the alien kid Citlali bawl into Atlas' shirt. With a tired sigh, he reached out to take Momo off Atlas' arms so his roommate could focus on the newest crier of the day. "Come on, Kitten. Let's go and say hi to Uncle Kres, aight?"

Hadlee was about to try and make another trick the boy that was carried in with the stranger started to cry when Amethyst's ball of flame erupted in color The loud noise is what probably set him off. She ran over to the little child just after Amethyst transformed and flew away. She was angry at Kreskes for not helping, but she didnt even expect him to in the first place.

She picked up the small alien boy and put him in her lap, brushing his shaggy brown hair out of his eyes. His nose was red from crying so much and his cheeks were stained with tears. Her last trick rendered her exhausted, and she knew if she did another she would probably pass out, but the little boy seemed something to cheer him up.

Taking a deep breath, she concentrated and willed the paper on the table next to her to animate itself. It folded on the table into a tiny bunny with wings. The tiny paper model few into the air wings first, its little body dangling in the air with unstable grace. Hadlee watched, keeping her brain focused on the paper creation, and willed the little animal to land in the boys lap. It nuzzled his hand slightly before turning into paper again, except keeping its shape. She offered him her best smile before having a pain stab her heart. The little boy reminded her so much of her brother. Tears burned her eyes as she watched him study the little rabbit, uncertain of his reaction. It made no noise, and it was probably her best creation yet. Her shouders sagged with exhaustion. She breathed again and set the boy down next to her on the seat, kissed him on the forehead, and left without looking at Kreskes. She would probably be scolded for it later.

She burst into the hallway in time to see the little purple ball skirt the corner. Oh man, she would need to hunt the little Wisp down, but she had to find her friend. Was Amethyst her friend? She didnt know.

She took off at a brisk run, hoping to find her fiery friend and cheer her up.

Pollux may have gave off an intimidating presence by being simply one of the biggest kids in the orphanage and his predatory aura he looked profoundly uncomfortable right now. Like an shy animal who suddenly found himself be starred at by a tourist group. He wasn't used to being around so many people. His Hydra heads slithered seemingly threw the air around him as if to provide protection from the many stares.

One of the girls, who had horns like a ram and reminded him a satyr smiled at him and to he offered a small smile back and felt a bit of his nervousness ease. Both Hydra heads were however watching Amethyst seemingly intrigued by the fire she produced, flames dancing in their intelligent eyes. He wondered why Kreskes has insisted he'd stay but he wasn't gonna argue about it. He respected the caretakers of the orphanage greatly.

He looks at Amethyst fully when she greeted him. He could have easily simply kept track of her with his 2nd and 3rd pair of eyes but he had learned that many took offense if he wasn't talking face to face with them. He smiled a bit sheepishly. "Hi." He was still curious about the girls fire, he never had interacted enough with the others here to know everyone's powers. He was about to say something else when he saw her gaze shift and he looked back to see a crying Citali. He turned and now looked more awkward then ever, he didnt know how to take care off crying children. Before he could do anything however a ball was thrown past him and with a flash burst into fire works. Pollux found himself more transfixed then Citali was. He had no magic of his own and had seen little of it so that magic was incredible to him.

However Citali started bawling fully now and Pollux was well and truly panicked, he did not handle crying kids well. The girl shouted that it had just been a fire work, something that hadn't been meant to to hurt or scare the child. With one of his heads looking at her he could tell she looked as lost as he felt for a what to do but she seemed sad as well which puzzled him. She raised out of the room and Pollux was almost tempted to do the same when someone new walked in. Immediately Citali's attention changed and he called out Atlas causing for Pollux to realize this had been who he was looking for.

Pollux just watched confused for a moment but glad that a bigger incident had been avoided that he sighed in relieve. However he noticed Keskes gaze on him and he immediately felt nervous. "I swear Pollux you disrupted my entire classroom, and made two of my students run away too." He said to Pollux causing Pollux to squirm in his seat. Keskes kept his gaze on him like this for several moment as if truly scolding before breaking out into his easy grin. "Then again I don't actually blame you since you had no where else to take him but you should get out more so do me a favor and check on my students since you did bring him in hmm?" Pollux seemed to be about to say something but Keskes gaze made him nod and leave to find the girls.

Perhaps to those who didn't know both students Keskes actions may seem slightly strange but Pollux was a lonely soul often isolating himself and he was more then aware about the history of the will-o-wisps so he half hoped they'd both find a new friend in this situation. With a please hum to turned back to his class.

Pollux once he left the room soon caught up to Hadlee, even at a brisk run she couldn't move quicker then the hydra's longer legs. "Hey..." He said a bit less awkward out of the main groups gaze. Pollux already knew where Amethyst was headed due to his sharp sense of smell following her scent that he had smelt in the room before. He had just paused to talk to her first. He then moved past her continuing to follow the scent of Amethyst.

Aeo was shocked as Amethyst burst out the room in her form of a purple flame, but Aeo understood why. It was just like earlier when she'd burst into tears when she accidentally hurt Aeo's feelings... but Aeo barely even showed it, and certainly didn't cry, yet her reaction was so emotional. Aeo's catlike ears folded, feeling sorry for poor Amethyst - this time, she must have felt five times as awful. He couldn't just sit here - even if the others had already gone. Aeo shot a look to Kreskes. Kreskes seemed slightly concerned, holding the brim of his top hat as he watched Hadlee and Pollux leave the room.
"Kreskes... I need to go to he-"

"Yes, yes. I understand... you may leave class. I never expected her reaction to be like that. But now's a good chance to use your shapeshifting try and catch up to her and the other two, Aeo. Which form do you think would be best for a situation like this?" Kreskes asked, always trying to make a test out of anything he could. Aeo already knew what he had to do, however, and his eyes were narrowed a little with determination - showing a little valour for once. With confidence, Aeo snapped his fingers, and he re-appeared - this time not as a small pink donkey, but as an impressive stallion, coloured a richer pink than most of his other forms.

Kreskes raised his eyebrows, looking slightly impressed.
"Well I'll be... it seems you have more shapeshifting potential when your mind is set to it... very good work, Aeo." Kreskes examined. Aeo, breathing with a faster rhythm, was beyond surprised he'd actually managed to get into such a strong form such as this without passing out, but he nodded nonetheless.
"I'll... I'll be back when I can, but I'm going with the others...!" Aeo announced, surprised he was able to talk in this form, then bursted out the door with a surge of speed from his mighty equine legs.
"Good luck finding your damsel in distress!" Kreskes called out with a chuckle. Aeo did his best to ignore this comment - luckily his face couldn't show a blush in this form.

Aeo was careful not to bump into Atlas, Momo, Jake and Citlali on the way out, but Aeo seemed to whinny a little nervously at the sight of Jake. The boy slightly scared Aeo somewhat, yet Aeo didn't know why...
"S-sorry... coming through!" Aeo announced, being careful not to run anybody over before galloping down the corridor. Aeo wondered what the group must be thinking, at the sheer randomness of a purple flame, followed by a ram girl, followed by a buff hydra man, followed by a God-damn pink horse bursting out the door. What next? A helicopter?

Although Aeo could gallop extremely fast, there was one problem: he had no idea where the hell he was going. He wasn't going to catch up to Amethyst if he wasn't going the right way - but then he caught sight of Pollux and Hadlee. How were they going to- of course! Pollux could follow the scent of Amethyst, and Hadlee would probably be the best at cheering Amethyst up. Aeo took a deep breath, and caught up with the other two, skidding to a halt with his large hooves next to Hadlee and Pollux.

"W-we need to hurry, hop on...!" Aeo said hurriedly, his equine eyes watching the two with extreme worry. Aeo was probably over-reacting to the situation and was being way too dramatic - it wasn't like Amethyst had been kidnapped by a murderer - but that was just the kind of person Aeo was.
"You two will be a lot faster atop my back - and Pollux, j-just tell me where to go...!" Aeo said with... a little confidence? It was rare for the little shapeshifter to show courage, but his worry for others had triggered him today, and was the reason for his form. Dutifully, Aeo bent his front hooves to make it easier for the other two to hop on - they'd fit comfortably, and whilst Aeo didn't have any reigns, his mane was probably long and sturdy enough to hold on to. Hopefully the journey wouldn't take too long... but Aeo knew he had to do something - Amethyst couldn't just be left to cry alone - what if she did something ludicrous? They had to move - fast!

Of course Aeo was over-reacting. But hey - that was simply Aeo.

Amethyst White
Amethyst wandered aimlessly along the corridors, looking for a good hiding spot to cry. She then remembered there was a fresh water march nearby the orphanage and with a blink, she was there.

She transformed back to her original form and sunk her feet on the water, trying to stop the tears. The water should help her stop crying but somehow it only made it worse. She suddenly bawled her eyes out, alarming the salamanders around the area "I...I d-didn't...m-m-mean to..." she sobbed, talking to the cattails and sedges and saw grasses. She must have look crazy talking to the plants but what else could she do? She just made the alien boy cry and it shot her through the heart deeply.

She grabbed a couple of cattails and started eating them up. Stuffing her face with anything she can eat; water lilies, papyrus, pickerelweed, any plant that she could get her hands into.

Chewing slowly, she must have look like a pig right now but doesn't matter! She's stressed out. "What are you looking at?!" she snapped at the salamanders looking at her weirdly. Whenever she's so stressed out and unable to find a solution, she only does one thing: eat.

Feeling that she can't eat anymore, she cried again, still feeling the pain in her chest. Remembering the look on the kid's face makes her want to chop her head off and bury her alive. Still not satisfied, she submerged herself into the cold water and curled up into a ball.

Pollux was slowing his pace for the girl beside him. He could still smell Amethyst completely fine and honestly he didn't know the girl so he wasent sure he would be able to cheer her up anyway. He underestimated the gravity of the situation and what Amethyst might do.

He was still going at almost a fast walk when he heard a voice behind him and he looked back and nearly fell over when he missed a step in shock. There was a bright pink stallion running behind him telling him he had to get on to move quickly. However the horses words did not compute for several seconds as he just starred while elsewhere Amethyst pigged out on plants.

Usually he would have never considered mounting anothers back, it was too childish and un-benefiting of a powerful creature such as he an hydra of immense strength. However he was so shocked and surprised he actually climbed on without a fight, swinging easily onto the horse with his powerful body.

"Go straight, into the forest then move at a 49 degree angle for 300 feet then go straight again." He said snapping off orders in a sort of militaristic fashion, still kind of closing off his shock to the whole idea. His Hydra's heads tongue flickered in and out, pinpointing her position.

Aeo began to pick up some speed with the two on his back, wind whipping against his mane. Aeo felt a feeling that he knew he rarely ever felt - was it... determination? Yes, it had to be. Aeo knew that Amethyst must have felt truly awful - what was she doing coming all the way out here in the freshwater marshes? He had to hurry before she did something awful...

Aeo followed the orders the best he could, and braced his teeth as he was truly beginning to reach high speeds now. He could feel his energy starting to sap away, but the faster he got there, the lower the chance there was of Aeo needing to change back to his human form. Snorting, Aeo's equine legs ached as he picked up the pace even further, trying his best not to knock his passengers off his back as he kept over obstacles. He trusted Pollux's sense of smell... even if they were starting to get scarily deep in the forest.

Skidding on his hooves, Aeo came to a halt as his eyes darted around the forest clearing, being sure not to uncomfortably shake off Hadlee and Nollux, but instead crouching his front legs so they could get off his back with ease. He could see waterlilies and various plants that had been picked, but there was... there was no sign of her! Where was she? Hiding in a tree? Had she used her flame form to hide especially well? Aeo began to breathe heavily as he morphed back into his human form, looking everywhere.

"Amethyst...! Please come out! It's Aeo - Hadlee and Nollux are here too...! Amethyst?! Amethyst!!!" Aeo yelled out, but there came no reply. Aeo began to breathe even heavier, almost hyperventilating.

"P-Please find her...! She... she can't be far, she's eaten all the plants around this area..!" Aeo pleaded to Nollux, real fear flooding Aeo's eyes as he spun around to face the hydra. Aeo figured Nollux wasn't as bad as he thought... even if he looked intimidating.

Worriedly, Aeo stood beside Hadlee, still calling out Amethyst's name before Aeo's heavy breathing got the better for him. He wanted to latch on to somebody for comfort and assurance, but Aeo knew he'd look too childish and... weird... if he did that. Leaving the job to Nollux, Aeo watched the murky water of the pond with worry.

Little did Aeo know that the girl was right under that pond.

With a final wave to the small moon sprite and the smaller fairy woman, Ulysses turned and started his journey back to his room. All the while, the young Huldrekarl mulled over what his disorganized plan of action would be for that day. He knew he had responsibilities with some of the other kiddos of the orphanage - mostly in cases of checking up on Momo, Lazuli, and Nimah. He knew he'd have to get around to seeing them at some point, but the thought of spending time with the small ethereal girl was so enthralling .. it took up a lot of his thought process.

The boy, scoffing at his own strange curiosities, turned down the corridors off of pure muscle memory. Some tiny ones ran by as he did, and he would have to side-step rather quickly to avoid some of them and their energetic running. He swore, most every child had some ultra battery inside of them that made them so full of energy all the time.

Eventually, the boy blinked and found himself staring at his room's door. He cleared his throat and pushed open the door, letting it shut behind him and trailing over to his clothes. His hand came up and scratched the back of his head as his eyes searched through mismatched sweaters and pants.

Eventually, the boy settled on a dark violet sweater and deep gray jeans. Skinny always looked the best on him. He threw his pajamas into a corner that was slowly building, into a pile of dirty laundry that he'd have to get around to cleaning soon. The boy went into his bathroom and fixed his hair, got the sleep out of his eyes, and tried to make himself look decent. He splashed his face with cool water and put in his plugs, silver ones that day. After staring himself down in the mirror and feeling satisfied with what he saw, the boy gathered himself and went back outside of his dorm, closing the door gently behind him.

He huffed a breath, a sigh of sorts. Not in exasperation, nor any negative context - just .. a breath of the air, something to fill his lungs and remind him he's whole and real again. It was a good feeling.

The boy then began another treacherous journey, to the main library of the orphanage. There were lively noises bouncing through the hallways, a cool and comforting energy in the air. There was a constant scent of fresh greens in the orphanage, with the occasional scents of children and creatures drifting past and wooshing by with every passing child. He always would reassure himself that he was never alone in this beautiful atmosphere - it was a welcoming, gorgeous place to have the honor to live in. The purple in his irises was bright with a sort-of happiness, a content warmth enveloping his heart.

He eventually came to the doors of the grand library, and pushed through them - quietly. It was a library, after all, and he was always taught that silence was a virtue in the case of the almost cathedral-like room.

Immediately, his eyes began flickering everywhere. He breathed through his nose somewhat, his mouth opening a sliver to help take in scents. It was quite instinctual for him to search through more of his senses than just sight, for people specifically. He felt like a dog sometimes with how he sought out his targets for the day. Soona's scent was also very distinguishable - it was a very clean, cool smell, with traces of milky chocolate and that scent you could pick up before it rains. It was unique to him, and he recognized scents better than any bloodhound or big cat ever could.

The sight of fluid, floating pink and purple caught his eye, and he needn't track her scent any more - he could tell right off the bat that it was her, petite and surrounded by space. He felt his lips become a smirk. She was turned away from him. The mischievous side of Ulysses reared it's head, and the young Huldrekarl quieted his steps as he approached her from behind.

When he was close enough to strike, the boy whipped his hands out and quickly slipped them over her field of view. "Hey, guess who?" His tone was sly, though he knew his voice was pretty distinct. She'd probably get it right off the bat. But it was worth a shot - he hoped he had at least surprised her a little. It was all in good nature.

What was that noise? Explosions? Probably just a bit of fireworks. As Francis entered the room, they glanced around the to see what the lesson was about. No help. They couldn't figure out what was going on. Letting out a soft sigh, they began towards a seat only to jump out of the way of Amethyst as she ran out of the room crying. How strange. Trying once again, Francis was unable to move out of the way of the next lot bowled them over. Perhaps they were after the girl? Sighing softly, they got to their feet and finally made it to their seat as the shifter ran out of the room. How annoying.

As Eggie finished her hug, she wave to Ulysses. "Bye, bye," she said before running of back to class. Hopefully she wasn't too late. Arriving just in time, she took her seat towards the front of the room, ready to start.

Still asleep under the large tree, Manu turned over, the book falling out of her pocket and dropping onto the ground.

lissful Bloom!

Blissful preened inwardly at Ulysses' acknowledgment of her ass kicking skills and nodded when he went to go change. Blissful rose into the air her wings flapping rapidly. It wasn't as though her wings were straining to hold her up, they just moved that quickly whether she moved quickly or sluggishly. As she Soona rose to leave, Blissful followed her and eventually just sat on her shoulder like she did with Dana. She wasn't a lazy fairy, but if she could catch a ride, she would. As they walked Blissful noticed the rapid change in mood by Soona. She watched her curiously as they entered the library, but attributed the mood change to Soona just being herself. As soon as they entered, Bissful gave Soona a wave and headed towards the insect section. She needed to find a good book on bee ambassadors or something. Or maybe she would just find Nairne and ask her to deal with the little black and yellow striped bastards.

M
ati!

Mati got extremely excited when Cupid started getting excited. Pegasus time was always fun! Mati squealed in delight as they flew through the hallways. When they started to rapidly descend however, adrenaline coursed through Mati's body and he began moving his legs in a running motion. However even when his hooves met the ground, the speed that they were moving at was too strong for him to stop their inevitable crash into Miss Esme's room.

The caretaker let out a surprised, "Oh!" When the two of them tumbled into her room. When Cupid started laughing Mati started laughing too and Miss Esme's lips curled into a smile. "You too, will never change, will you?" She laughed and Mati grinned, untangling himself from Cupid and smiling widely at the caretaker.

"Goodmorning, Miss Esme!" He said.

Hadlee
Hadlee staggered off of the stallions back, her feet shaky from the ride. For such a timid little thing, Aeo knew how to run. It was probably just the adrenaline running through his viens like her own was. It felt lke fire, burning its way through her body like hot ice. Her heart was hitting her ribcage uncomfortably, her lungs rattling in her chest as she tried to bring in air. She had only just started talking to Amethyst today, and she would feel horrible if something happened to her.

As Aeo turned back into his human form, his cheeks were the same color as his forms; Pink. Her own body was exhausted from her last 'trick', and she believed that her legs wouldnt be able to hold up her body much longer.

Where was the Wisp? It looked like the plants around the area were pretty much dessimated, meaning Amethyst ate her way out of her sorrow. Pangs of depression ripped through her already frantic beating heart. Poor Wisp, she wanted to help her so badly, but she had not a clue where she was.

Hadlee was going to turn to Aeo and shrug her shoulders, but instead caught sight of something silver flashing under the murky water of the marsh. Normally, she wouldnt have seen anything, but the adrenaline pumping through her head made her on high alert.

She tugged on Aeo's shirt sleeve and got down on her knees to look into the water. OH GODS, It was Amethyst! The poor Wisp was submerged into the water. Could they breathe under the water? She had no idea. Her arms were short, but she reached into the luke-warm water anyways, and caught fistfulls of her dress. The water made everything more difficult. She was weak, but managed to pull out the girl from the water.

She was soaking wet, her hair plastered to her face. In panic, the Ram humanoid started ripping pieces from her shirt, rubbing them across her arms and face. Ripping so much off her shirt made the scars on her back visible, but she hardly noticed. She wanted to get Amethyst dry before she caught a cold.

Once they got to where she once sat Pollux had got up. He slid off the stallions back and crouched low to the ground to look at the stripped plants and uprooted roots. His twins heads had their mouths open in a seemingly silent hiss as they scented the air.

He heard Aeo shouting behind him but he didn't let it distract him. He was in full hunting mode, his steps were silent and information flooded his sense. She had been here, his senses felt her so strong it was lIle he was drowning in her scent. Usually he would say she was here but where was she then? The scent went no further. His deliberation took only a few second but it felt much longer to him. When he realized it there was very little warning. His head shot up and his snakes hissed. However it seemed someone else noticed and Handler shot forward dragging her out of the water.

She had tried to commit suicide over a child's crying? The situation stuck him as over dramatic but he didnt say anything about it, he wouldn't get good attention in this crowd. He wondered what kind of life she lived to make her think like that. Hadlee was ripping off parts of her shirt to try and keep her warm but that wasent exactly effective though it was distracting. He took off his own shirt, with his size it would almost be as long as a night shirt on her and handed it over to Amethyst. There were two round holes in the back for his heads but otherwise the shirt was warm and made from good material though it did carry a bit of his scent. "You need to warm up." He said kindly in a calming tone.

Aeo was mortified as Hadlee pulled out Amethyst from the murky waters of the very pond he was looking at. How could he not have noticed her down there? Was she alive? There... there was no way she was dead... Aeo knew something awful had happened - had she fallen in whilst running? Maybe she'd run out of energy being in her flame form... or... was it deliberate...? No - there was no way she'd go that far, right?

Aeo scrambled over to her, waving a hand in front of her face with a panicked expression.
"Oh G-God... please don't be hurt - please don't be hurt..." Aeo muttered to himself quickly, his tail rapidly swishing behind him in panic. The chances of her being dead was probably extremely low, but Aeo was still young and usually assumed for the worse at times like this. He stepped back, watching as the two were using their clothes and offering them as makeshift towels to Amethyst. Aeo spotted the various scars upon Hadlee's back, but the situation was too hectic to him now for him to ask questions about it; perhaps later could be a good time?

Moving forward, Aeo peeked over Hadlee's shoulder, biting his lip with panic. He looked at the soaking wet girl, hoping to God that she hadn't got herself hurt. Whilst the other two were helping to dry her and make her less cold on the outside... Aeo knew that Amethyst must have felt awful in the inside to run into the freshwater marshes like this. That was something bandages or comforting hugs couldn't heal so easily - was there anything he could do? Turn into a form to cheer her up...? No - he was way too exhausted for that, and the situation was all too serious at the current moment in time. For now, Aeo did his best to try and soothe her with words, although Aeo's voice was squeaky and delayed by long breaths due to the exhaustion and panic.

"A-Amethyst... why did you come out here... the... the boy's fine, really - he just wanted Atlas...!" Aeo tried his best to say in a reassuring tone. "A-and... I thought it looked really cool... everyone did... w-we'd all miss you if you ran away...!" Aeo managed to gasp, taking huge breaths after his sentences. Being in such a powerful form had really began to take a toll on Aeo now that the adrenaline had worn off... he could barely walk...

Momoko
Momo happily waved to Kreskes' students that seemed to be vanishing one by one out of the library. "Must be some sort of trick everynya is learnying today!" Momo cheerily concluded. Seeing that even a pink horse had exited the room, she was sure it had to be a stunt. Looking down, she realized that there was a crying Citlati. This made Momo change her mind, because why on Earth would someone be crying when a pink stallion just stampeded out of the room?

Before she knew it, Jake's arms were outstretched, waiting for her to jump into them. "B-but...Atlas-nya and Momo were gonnya walk..?" Nothing seemed to change, so she decided to give in, climbing onto Jake. "Why can't Atlas-nya walk?" she thought curiously, tucking her head into the nook of the fae-ghoul's neck.
"Hmmph," Momo crept closer to Jake's ear. "Well at least Momo isn't the only one who wants to do something with Atlas-nya.~ Momo felt you staring a hole through Atlas-nya~!"

Soona
Directing her attention back to finding a good book to read, Soona scanned the shelves, floating from one section to the next. "Mystery, Suspense, Folktale, Romance, Horro--Romance? Why, this book does not belong in the romance section! It clearly belongs in the Autobiography aisle!" she made various silent expressions with her face as she reacted to each unsorted novel. "How careless these readers are, leaving the characters of these books wandering in a place where they clearly do not belong..." She smiled softly to herself. "Well, I guess it's my job to help them find home again."

After finding a suitable light romance novel, Soona found a place to sit--or, rather, float--and planted herself there, hair instantly radiating as she turned the first page. "New friends to meet!" The idea itself was romantic, let alone the genre of the book being romance. Soona hummed a quiet tune, imagining the notes of the melody played in the corner store where the two main characters met. A smooth, light, jazzy tune was what exited her lips, and she closed her eyes for a moment, feeling the synthetic breeze forced in by the air conditioner near the window of the store.

Before she knew it, two large hands swiftly covered her eyes, and she heard a voice say something along the lines of, "Guess who?"

"E-eh?" Soona was shocked, but something felt kind and warm about these hands, similar to the warm feeling she experienced when reading her novels. She reached up and touched the hands with her own small ones, and smiled.

"Ulysses... I forgot you were coming~!" Soona giggled lightheartedly.
