[fieldbox=Hadlee, pink, solid]
Hadlee woke up with a start, her abodmen sore from holding in her sobs. She was happy that nobody heard her, as if they could. She stood up and realized she still hadnt eaten since breakfast, which even then she didnt eat. Hadlee gave Diem a little smile before he flew up into the vent, leaving a sickly green glow in his wake. She threw off her rumpled clothes and put on a new tank top that never seemed to fit right.
WIth a small sigh, she removed the blanket from her door, grabbed her mother's copy of Catcher in the Rye and made her way to the Dining Hall. For once, she was actually starving and needed something to eat. Doing all of those tricks and then running after a scared and sorrowful Wisp really worked up an appetite in the little Ram.
Walking into the Mess Hall, it was nearly deserted. Most were out roaming the halls, outside, or with their mentors. It was eerily quiet in the normally loud hall. Not that she minded.
Hadlee picked up her meal of oats and honey, her usual meal, and sat in the back in the hall like she usually did despite the hall being empty. She smiled a bit and spooned in the oats and honey into her mouth, opening the book she reread over a billion times, and continued to read her Mother's favorite paragraph over and over.
