I don't know why but I get some weird vibes about him like he looks like Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2... <_>

But I for one welcome the addition of another roleplayer here, hope you enjoy it.
 
Eh, Julius is more of a demolitionist than a thief - he just has the ability in sleight of hand to count as a thief. So he's good with pickpocketing and silent transport, but that's about it when it comes to stealth. He's kinda like a D&D bard in that respect - he can fill in if need be, buts he better in a support capacity.

All right so it looks like your character can be a thief [MENTION=6086]Syfral[/MENTION]. and with that I will call your character Approved. (Though I would like to see how your character joined the crew at some point)
Do you need a catch up on what's happened so far?
And since you wanted to start as part of the crew did you want to say your character started out guarding the boat? or something else?

I'll wait to hear your answer before I make my next post :)
 
Excuse me, I would like to join in this RP, and I already have a character in mind. For his affiliation though, he's not gonna be a pirate at the start of the story, nor a marine, but later he will join the The Black Heart Pirates. Also, I plan on making him the son of a World Noble, and his background will remain mysterious for some time. Will that be okay?
 
We won't be dealing with the world nobles at all until they reach the Grand Line and there is not an actual background place in the Char sheet so mysterious is fine. But in the event you want to make a plot point out of it I would like to know. If you want to keep it a secret to surprise the other players with then you can PM it to me :)

Alright, I'll fill the role as Thief than.

Also, if you don't mind, please provide me a short summary of what happened so far. I'll read up on the actual RP Thread but it might take a while before I'm fully up-to-date, that's why a synopsis would help greatly.
As suggested, I'll start off guarding the ship and doing my thing until we find a way to properly incorporate me into the story.

The Black Moon Pirates were just offshore of an island called Sabaku, a desert island home to Marine Base 13. Knowing the risk, they set for port to pick up supplies. Hiding the ship by some rocks, some of the crew, including the Captain comes ashore and head towards the town there. Several others arrive to the island as well or were already there that are and may be a part of the Black Moon Pirates.

Meanwhile, with the Marines, Captain Barabara Brito visited the local Inn, bearing news of a pirate ship coming to port, aware it was belonging to the Black Moon Pirates, where their Captain, Roald D. Emrik and parts of his crew had bounties on their heads, Emrik's being 28 mil Beri. Within the inn, she finds Commander Caim, who was on a day off enjoying himself. Lieutenant Reimu Kairo isalso seen to be in the Inn, doing her own business as a Doctor. After they converse, Brito leaves the inn in search of her squad and finds the drunken rabble harassing a fishwoman, Lorelei, someone not local to the island either. Angered by their conduct and threats to kill Lorelei, Brito lashes out at the marine responsible by cutting her sword across his chest, which ensues a scene. By that point, Commander Caim and Lieutenant Kairo had been alerted within the Inn and exit to bear witness Brito's assault.

Unhappy about this, Caim intervenes to prevent further harm and gets between Brito and the marine that was struck. This is where he proclaims to have her under arrest for assaulting a fellow marine with possible fatal intent. Coming quietly, Brito agrees and they are all escorted back to Base 13, several people witnessing the event, including plenty of the Black Moons and others.

With a time lapse here and there, Rear Admiral Dalton Margaret orders Brito to be executed by dawn, instead of having just a few weeks incarceration. the Black Moons debate now a plan to possibly free this now captive Marine Captain and find themselves with plenty of volunteers among the crowds, who most had a respect for Captain Brito, for she was few who they didn't fear like most Marines would instill just by being mentioned.

Name: Henry Canvill
Affiliation: Unofficially a pirate for no pirate crew yet;mostly stowaways stealing from other people's ship.
Bounty: A measly bounty of 10,000 beri
Position on Crew:None yet
Weapon of Choice: Henry Canvill has the power of the water water fruit, which allows it's user to create and control water from his or her body(Logia) He is even able to create a prism of water to surround his foes on dry land, but it only lasts for a few minutes, and won't be enough to actually drown the person. This is due because Henry is untrained with the devil fruit, so his skills aren't up to potential. He can turn his body to water, but it's hard for him to do so, since, again, he hasn't really trained with it yet. As for controlling water, the most he can do is call small tidal waves that aren't enough to sink ships.
Gender: Male
Appearance: Standing at 5'9, Henry Canvill has messy brown hair with gold eyes. He is fairly skinny though, due to wandering around the open seas for a long time, living only off of stealing from random ships. He has a very aristocratically looking face though, with, if it wasn't for the hair, would make him look like a proper gentlemen. It was fairly defined, with a nose that sticks out only a little and clear skin.
How Character Joined the Crew/Marines: Will be joining during the RP.
Other: Henry, for some reason, is a very cold person to other people...

Were you planning on getting involved in the jailbreak, or are you going to have your character do something else?
 
Yeah, but the way I'm going to get involved in the jailbreak is that at first I'm not going to initially be with you other pirates at the bar. I'm first going to set out to the Marine base myself to cause some hell, and along the way when it's your time to jailbreak, I'll get caught up in it.

With that being said, I'm going to make my first post. :)

Before we start the Jail Break, does anyone want a specific opponent to fight? - As in I create one for you?
or is everyone happy with the idea of just NPCing their own opponents?
 
Hmm... Tempting offer, but I'm going to stick with NPCing my own opponent for this first fight. Maybe next time. ;)
 
I can do either but my guess, may be best to go against a fellow RP'er since I'm a Marine, unless you have something up your sleeve. Really depends on how it goes in my eyes though, hehe.
 
Honestly, it doesn't matter to me, I can do both.
