"Well, if they're going..." Diana pulled the corded phone as far as it could go, taking a seat next to Rant. They were in this together, after all. "Phoned the number... Waiting..."

A man answered on the other end. "The hell is this about? Whoever is calling me on this number, don't you ever dare do so again."

The line went dead and Diana groaned in frustration.

Jude let out a sigh of relief as he grabbed a hold of the chain alongside the others. He started the count off.

"Three..."

"Two..."

"One..."

"Now!"

With all their strength, the group would pull off the panel, releasing hay and dust particles into the air. Jude coughed as he moved to get a closer looking, momentarily gasping once he saw what was revealed. "Stairs... leading down."

"Let's get movin' then, lil' detectives." Holder led the way down the stairs and into a hallway made of concrete. The hall was dimly lit, short, aged, and dingy with a vault door at the end of it. A tug on the handle would indicate it was locked. Jude pointed out the number pad next to the door.

"Looks like it takes an 8-digit number."

It was then that the others arrived, and Jude was quick to show them to the number pad. "This is where we're stuck."

"Type in boobs twice," Meira said, looking completely serious. "80088008. Just try it."

"If you guys are going somewhere, then I'm coming with." Meira pushed her coffee away and yawned. "I am boooored and school sucks, yo."

"O- oh dear," Nono says as she runs off to catch up with the rest.

Didn't even take a minute. That's a world record!

Kyoko, who had remained a reticent observer of the unfolding situation, would give a light shrug.

"Alright, then. Let's get a move on. We don't have any time to waste," the young woman spoke, making her way towards wherever the mystery address would lead her and the rest of the group to.

Part of the reason she was silent during much of the ordeal was likely because of what had transpired during the trial that they had just gotten out of. She had to wonder about the nature of this world and how much was tainted by the influence of the darkness, remembering how Usami was created from her memories. It seemed to get a few people like Morikubo to wonder about her, but they didn't seem to feel inclined to press.

Perhaps it was just as well. It was for everyone's benefit if they didn't inquire about her secret.

When the group would reach the address where they were headed towards, they would find themselves ending up in front of a certain barn. Inside, they would come across Honda, Holder, and Jude, looking hard at work as though they were trying to open something.

"... Hmm. What a coincidence," Kyoko spoke, letting her presence be known to the others inside the barn. At least the address didn't lead them into completely unknown territory.

It seemed below the barn was evidently a bunker. Separating the storage area from the rest of the bunker was a wall of plastic, obscuring what lie beyond.

Holder took a few steps toward the divide, stopping when the exit door behind the group began to close. Jude cried out and ran to push against it, but the door slammed shut just as he reached it. "No!" he yelled, slamming his fists against it. "It's not opening!"

"Oh, so we're trapped, huh..." Meira shrugged. "I see. I guess we'll have to live out the rest of our days in here. We'll have to work in shifts to continue our bloodline."

The plastic gave way easily, only being used as a partition. The rest of the bunker was revealed, turning out to be both a studio and a dark room for photography.

SZIk3Er.jpg

There was a small entertainment center located on the far wall that contained a stereo, a radio, and several other electronic devices. A couch wrapped in clear vinyl was in the center of the room with two tower speakers on either side of it. The table in front of the couch had what appeared to be a projector placed on top of it. Behind the couch and entertainment system there was a desk with a computer. Near this were a cabinet and two printers. To the far left from the storage area was a big white screen acting as a backdrop for photos with light sources and tripods surrounding it.

It seemed that of the electronics in the room, the computer, projector, and lights were the only ones with power for the moment.

"I call the couch," Meira said, hopping on to it and lazily stretching herself out. "Have fun!"

Stiles gave a moment to think it over. " The back of the box had compass directions. Perhaps each key is colored to represent a direction, and have to be aligned in the compass direction to unlock." It was a suggestion.

We found some more stuff in Jefferson's room.Hopefully it makes sense.

"No, it looks like it unlocks..."

Bullet flipped open the suitcase, only to find herself more confused once it was open. "Uh..." Inside the suitcase was a memory card, a piece of paper, a small silver box, and four colored keys.

"Okay, I was not expecting that."

While the others focused on the silver box, Yurick took a look at the paper. It seemed like it could be important. He didn't bother checking the memory card, someone else could do that.

The plastic gave way easily, only being used as a partition. The rest of the bunker was revealed, turning out to be both a studio and a dark room for photography.

"Have fun!"

"Computer... projector... maybe those will have instructions on a way out!" Nono suggests. "What's on the computer, Honda-san?"

"..."

Hmph. Looks like she was stuck in yet another situation where she was trapped. For all her years for a detective, maybe she should have put some time into studying escapology on the side as well.

Still, if nothing else, Kyoko knew better than to regret any mistakes on her part, so she may as well stay calm. Not that it was particularly difficult for her to be cool-headed anyway.

Making her way over to the projector, Kyoko would go ahead and analyze it, seeing if she could turn it on as well while she was at it.

Diana stared. She almost laughed. "You've got to be kidding me. We just going to harass the guy with calls until... what, exactly? We don't even know who we're talking to."

The computer turned on, displaying a password screen. The placeholder image behind the log-in was a blue, cloudy sky. On the image was writing in black, with the second verse partly cut off by the log-in.

"A great anger traveled to the North in search of vengeance.

A looming envy -- search of understanding.

A harrowing sadness traveled East in search of acceptance.

A glowing joy traveled South in search of satisfaction."

Holder took a look at it. "Looks like something I wrote in the fourth grade."

When Kyoko turned on the projector, it displayed an image on the white wall.

"Uhh... if you says so..." Bullet began to look at the silver box like it was some kind of treasure.

"Maybe we should check the room across the hall?" Victoria asked. "The paper has its room number."

Jamie stepped aside. "Go right ahead."
