The password scatterbrain worked, allowing access to the computer.

The desktop image showed the full image, revealing the second verse to be "A looming envy wandered West in search of understanding" in full.

Four text files were present on the desktop. These included reminder, cabinet, AB, and vacation.

"Maybe..." Jude said, watching as Kyoko went ahead and clicked on the first file: reminder.

The text read, "Don't forget to call the casino for more information!"

The next one, cabinet, read:

It read, "Twist handle left, right, left to open. Reminder for self, food chain."

The third one, AB, required a password to open.

The final text file, vacation, opened a text file containing a website link. Clicking on the link would bring the group to a website with Monokuma standing in front of a white background. There seemed to be space to add an answer, and text that read, "Hey kids! Can you name the previous deaths in order?"

Meanwhile, Holder went ahead and used the method described in the text file to open the cabinet. Inside were an array of books. The spines of the books boasted a letter and a picture, mostly of animals. The books were in alphabetical order. The A book had a picture of a Mongoose. The two E books had pictures of a Grasshopper and a Sun. The L book had a picture of a Blueberry. The N book had a picture of a Jackal. The P book had a picture of a Lizard. The T book had a picture of an Eagle.

Diana looked relieved as she hopped off her chair and waved at Rose goodbye. She took Rant out into the parking lot, where a pay phone thankfully was nearby. She had no idea if the monocoin would work, but she went for it anyway.

"... Hello?" she said cautiously.

"... Is this that same girl? How do you know this number?"

"I'm sorry... I found it. Before you hang up! I'm with a, uh, like... a forensics team. We're looking into the death of Mark Jefferson and the missing girls?"

"... Missing girls? Like... Rosie?"

"... Yes." Diana looked to Rant, giving him a thumbs up. "May I ask who this is?"

"Stan. The father of that missing girl. I work at the casino... and this was the number Mark Jefferson used to call me. If you got any questions, ask them now."

Diana seemed unsure, so she looked to Rant. "... What should I ask?"

" I guess someone could go and check up on her. We aren't getting anywhere with the box. Perhaps what we need in the other room? It may help us at the end of the day," he said, getting ready to join Victoria in Room 999. Hopefully, she had better luck with her room too.

Jack Frost decided to join Holder and Morkikobu by the cabinet, fortunately... It seemed that Morikobu's skills proved to be valuable in solving this little puzzle of sorts with the books, which left them with a cryptic word? Well, a very compressed word anyways, though that didn't stop Jack from attempting to decipher it.

"Well... It looks like the letters are trying to say... Elephant?" He said, blinking a few times.

But... What does that have to do anything?

"Maybe..." Jude said, watching as Kyoko went ahead and clicked on the first file: reminder.

Going through the computer, Kyoko blinked when seeing what was inside the text files. She didn't really know what she was expecting to be honest, but... Well, she certainly wasn't expecting what she found. Mostly the Vacation file, at least. The Reminder file mystified her a bit, though she'd recall a little something that could perhaps fill in the blanks.

"Morikubo-san, I just remembered... You received a number earlier, right? For the casino. Call it with that phone over there," she'd instruct, pointing over to the phone on the wall that Jude had taken notice of earlier, "We might be able to get through to someone to maybe help us out of this place."

When Morikubo would go through the letters, seemingly absent-mindedly unscrambling them, Kyoko would get an idea, pulling up the AB file again and enter "elephant" as the password.

Regardless of whether it was correct or not, she'd then proceed to switch to the Vacation file, her mind on full alert and her body practically moving on its own as she'd type in the answers to Monokuma's question. No doubt this was yet another one of his games, but of course, the goal and prize were as always a mystery.

Wracking her brain and memory, she tried to recall the exact order, wondering if it was by time of death or time of discovery.

"The previous deaths... Mark Jefferson, Byakuya Togami, Maxine Caulfield, Bolin, Wanda Maximoff, Monomi, Felix," she mumbled, typing out the names as she said them, hoping that her memory wouldn't fail her yet.

"Might as well bring the box too," Bullet said, grabbing it and the keys.

Jamie stepped out of the way for the group and trailed after them. "Could you maybe tell me why a dead man has left you a bunch of puzzles to solve?"

"Wish we could tell you!" Bullet turned around and shrugged her shoulders at Jamie as she backed into Room 999. She turned to find Victoria staring at the monitors intently.

"Woah, I... don't think the room is supposed to look like this. I think we're gonna have to contact the hotel staff." Jamie then left the room.

"Oh... hey..." Ignoring Jamie, Victoria gestured to the keyboard and dial below the array of monitors. "There's a dial here that can be set from one to one hundred. The message on the wall says we have to... push beyond the limit, then divide that in half. This note says beyond is twenty-five...?"

"I believe it's asking for even the deaths of the non-students involved in all of this," Jude said, leaning close to the monitor. "Although... why would Jefferson have this site linked? It doesn't even make sense. It must be unrelated to this room's strange lock puzzle."

The password of elephant opened the AB file, which contained another site link. This one went to a website that launched some kind of program. The printer began to process while a small flash drive was deposited out of the computer. Written in black ink on the drive was the letter B. "Considering it just came out of the computer, I guess it's gotta be put into something else."

It didn't take Jamie long to return with the owner of the casino and his security in tow. "Everyone, this is Benjamin Horne."

"What is the meaning of all this?" said Horne, marveling at the array of monitors that had been set up in one of his hotel rooms.

"Ugh, do we have to explain again we're a forensics team?"

Jack Frost frowned, heading back to Kyoko, looking over her shoulder just in time to see her enter in "elephant" as the passphrase for that AB file, looks like he had just answered his own question he had been asking himself. Hmm.. The page that printed seemed to be veeery cryptic about what it wants, but Jack Frost decided to look around for some sort of stand in the area, maybe there was some secret lever or something attached to one of those things?

"Ah! Victoria, Morikubo's side also recieved something related to directions, but nothing about coloured keys. This will be a lot of information, so pay careful attention. Here's the riddle we have!

A great anger traveled to the North in search of vengeance.

A looming envy wandered West search of understanding.

A harrowing sadness traveled East in search of acceptance.

A glowing joy traveled South in search of satisfaction.

Wait a second... poetry and colour metaphors... that's it! Morikubo's theory is that... well... in the English language, colours are often used to describe emotion. Morikubo's good at poetry, but she's new to English poetry, so please bear with her. Red for Anger could be North, Blue for Sadness could be East, as it is back where Morikubo is from too, and I think I've heard English people use Green for envy, which would be West. That leaves the fourth colour to be South. By the way, did your side, on the other hand, find anything strange that doesn't fit anywhere in your room?"

"Maybe it was installed posthumously, though I can't say for sure," Kyoko replied to Jude, recalling a number of the names she had neglected to list in the computer, proceeding to remedy that.

"Let's see... Mark Jefferson, Byakuya Togami, Neon Katt, Maxine Caulfield, Sigma Klim, Bolin, Wanda Maximoff, Monomi, Felix... I wonder if that's enough," she murmured to herself, submitting the new response whilst deciding to leave the AB file alone for the time being. There was the sound of movement on Victoria's end. "No, nothing out of place, I don't think... Oh! A memory card. We've got two memory cards here, labeled C and D. I'll get back to you if we find anything else."

"Okay... shouldn't we be trying to get them out now?"

Nodding, Victoria moved to grab the silver box and the keys. "No, nothing out of place, I don't think..." She began to place them in a certain order: the red key at the North, the green key at the West, the blue key at the East, and the yellow key at the South. Finally, the keys were able to turn and the lid of the box opened. "Oh!" Victoria pulled out a memory card, which matched the other one from the suitcase. "A memory card. Victoria stood, letting out a relieved breath as she looked over the monitors. "That your friends?" Bullet asked.

If one looked at Kyoko closely enough, one could see that through her stone-cold expression that was practically signature by now, she was greatly conflicted. She was practically at an impasse. A situation with a difficult decision to make. With Monokuma plastered all over the page, she knew that this was no joke, though on the off-chance it was, it was one in greatly poor taste. Still, she couldn't take any chances.

No one had the right to decide on a whim who should and shouldn't die. That may not prevent others from taking the lives of others anyway, but it was what Kyoko Kirigiri believed. Her eyes never leaving the monitor, Kyoko took the flash drive labeled B and the page that was printed out, handing it to the panicking Morikubo, as she was the one currently working with the phone right now, and she figured the talk of letters would be solved with that, whatever "Try Stand 2" meant.

"Morikubo-san," she simply spoke, "Here. Maybe you'll have more use with these than I do. And whoever you're talking to."

It was funny how she could think so clearly even when faced with a situation like this. Maybe she really was too robotic for her own good as a human being, but she had to admit, sometimes, it had its advantages. Because the decision she was about to make, for the good of everyone else, was something that she had to make with a clear head.

She had so many wishes she would have liked to fulfill. She wanted to get out alive and well, along with the others. She wanted to reunite with those she had disappeared from long ago. She wanted to see the fruits of her labors. The payoff of what she had endured in the past, of what she had accomplished.

But maybe the greatest fruit of all was having the ability to stay true to oneself all this time. So she made her decision.

"Morikubo will ensure that it is in safe hands..." Nono nods as Kyoko hands her the B thumbdrive*. "Thank you, Kirigiri-san. It's good to have a... friend like you... I don't think I'd know what I'd do without you over here, with my usual adult supervision gone... sorry for what happened yesterday, Morikubo was having some doubts, but I guess there is no reason to doubt you now...

... you're a great leader and an even better friend..."

"Diana, Victoria, you still there?" Nono gets back to the phone, "Morikubo has a word puzzle. It depicts the English word 'Try' on the left and the English word 'Stand' on the right, underneath the latter word is the number '2'. Try... 2 under stand... this word puzzle could mean a lot of things that Morikubo doesn't understand... any more passwords to fill back where you are? Because we can't find anywhere to place the supposed answer of this..."

@Atomyk

The others would hear Nono's part of the conversation.
