Loki opened his eyes and looked at her, "hey good morning." He smiled and sat up in bed, "how about we get something to eat before we go and we can discuss more details about our adventure." Loki got out of bed and put his armour and helmet back on, "unless you are eager to leave now."
Della stood up and stretched, finally realizing after a moment that her hair was sticking up in all different directions. She began to comb it with her fingers for a moment before she took a small brush out of a satchel that had been connected to her red cloak. She brushed her hair for a moment before replying. "Well, it's not like we'll have that many options for food once we're on the road. So how about we eat here before leaving? Then we can grab a few supplies in town and go," she suggested.

"Sounds good to me, we should pack light. So whatever food is light weight would work the best, plus we could always go hunting or fishing if need be." Loki responded leading the way out of the room when she was ready, the inn had a small kitchen where they served their guests. Loki sat down at the table and ordered whatever their special was.

"That would be wise," she agreed. Della made her way to the kitchen with Loki, taking a seat. She ordered some fruit and waited with Loki while the staff got their food. "So, Loki, where do you come from?" She asked to make conversation while they waited. "You don't look like you're from around here."

"I'm from a place that's far away from you, most likely a place you've never even heard of." Loki responded debating whether or not to tell her where he was from, though it may not matter since she likely never heard of it. "Let's just say it's way north of here."

"Way north of here?" Della questioned. "Does it have a name? I may have heard of it before." She paused for a moment, thinking quietly to herself for a moment after asking that question. She was keeping a few things secret herself and she couldn't expect Loki to tell her things about himself if she was keeping so many things hidden. "Never mind, you don't have to tell me," she said, turning her gaze from him. "All you have to do is help me get to the kingdom. We don't have to learn too much about each other if you don't want." Although, Della had to admit that keeping too many secrets would make for a very boring journey. There wouldn't be much to talk about along the way.

Loki sighed, he figured if she was going to trust him then he should tell her everything. Maybe if she found out he was a god that would ease her mind, or she could not believe him either way. "It does, you see I am from Asgard. I doubt you heard of it, you probably won't believe me and not that I blame you it's..Well, I'm a god." Loki told her waiting for her response.

Della turned her attention on Loki immediately when he stated he was a god. She raised an eyebrow, but had a rather blank expression on her face other than that. "That's from Norse mythology, isn't it? I was told those stories as a child." And to Della, all they had ever been was stories. She chuckled quietly, putting her head in one of her hands. "It's okay, you don't really have to tell me where you're from. As long as you get me home, that's all that matters," she said. Della didn't believe him. What he had told he was really hard for her to picture as possible.

Loki knew she wouldn't believe him, so he'd have to prove it too her a chance that he could get along their journey. When breakfast was over he stood up, "Alright well let's get a move on. We should grab some supplies before we head out, and I am a god. I will prove it to you," Loki responded with a smile.

Della ate her breakfast when it arrived and didn't say anything else until they had finished. She wasn't sure what to make of this Loki guy now. She thought he might have even been a little crazy. But that didn't matter. As long as he really was strong enough to escort her back to the kingdom while keeping her safe that didn't really matter. She stood up with a half smile on her face, following him out. "If you're a god, how exactly is that something you prove? If you were an all powerful god wouldn't you just be able to magically take me home with a wave of your finger?" she asked, curiously, heading for the marketplace so they could purchase some supplies.

"I am not that kind of god, my powers are of magic and illusions. I can't teleport, although it would be really cool." Loki responded, "I know you think I am crazy but I can assure you I am as sane as ever. Now lets get to it," Loki stood up and led the way out of the inn. Before they went out on their journey he made a stop at a small shop gathering supplies, rations, some first aid supplies and anything else they may need. "Alright lead the way."

When Loki told her he wasn't crazy, Della still wasn't sure what to believe. But just because he may have been crazy didn't mean that she couldn't trust him. She was going to put her trust in him for now. While they walked around gathering supplies, Della bought an apple and tossed it to Loki.
"Here, just a small thanks from me. The apples in this town are great. I figured you should try one." After giving him the apple she began to leave the town with him. "There could be bandits in the woods, so keep a sharp eye out," she warned.

Loki took the apple and smiled, "thank you they do look delicious. And I will keep my eyes open for bandits," he responded and placed the apple in his bag for later. "So may I ask exactly why you want to venture onto this journey, I mean it sounds dangerous. Are you getting away from someone or what?" Loki asked.

Della walked a few paces ahead of Loki, picking some flowers she came across while they walked. They were purple, the color of royalty. "I'm not getting away from someone. No, quite the opposite in fact. I'm going back to a place I left. I was an... um... noble who had my birthright taken from me. I need to get it back." What she told him was part of the truth, but she left out that she was not only a noble, but royalty also.

"I see, well I am sorry to hear that." Loki responded as they continued to walk, "I can assure you I will help you get back what's rightfully yours." As they continued to walk Loki sensed something, they were being watched as Della said they were Bandits.

"Well, well what do we have here? A pretty girl and some skinny brat," one of them spoke. "That's a nice helmet you've got there slim, I bet it's worth a lot."

Loki looked at them and slowly took out his dagger, "move along gentlemen we don't want any trouble." Loki told them.

Della nodded. "Well, you don't have to help me get back what I lost. All I'm asking is that you help me arrive to the location I need to go. I wouldn't want to trouble you too much," she told him. Before she could get a reply from Loki, however, the two of them were interrupted. She frowned. She was sure there were bandits in the woods, but she was really hoping they wouldn't run into them this soon, or maybe not at all.

"He's right, we don't want any trouble. We're traveling to Oak Haven Kingdom. Just please let us pass," Della told them. She was nervous. She didn't have any weapons on herself, but maybe if they were lucky the men would let them pass. She doubted it though.

"Oh come now, we are just having a friendly chat. There is no need to be hostile," the man spoke with a smirk. "I do wonder why a pretty girl like her is doing with a skinny kid like you. Why you when she can be with someone like me," he spoke showing off his muscles.

Loki rolled his eyes, typical muscle bound man. "We are just going to go now," Loki gently grabbed Della's arm and started to lead her away however he was caught off guard and the man punched him in the side, Loki doubled over but didn't fall down. He let out a growl and threw his dagger at the man knocking him down, he then ran to him pulled out his dagger. It was clear that Loki was a skilled fighter, he sensed the other bandit coming for him so he created a doppelganger and when the man attacked his illusion he was caught off guard himself, Loki then kicked him from behind.

Before long the bandits took off, "sorcery!" He shouted as he ran.

Della intended to step past the men harassing them even though they said they were just around for a friendly chat. She felt Loki grab her arm and intended to follow him, gasping when he was knocked to the side by one of the bandits. Della jumped back and moved behind Loki, pressing a hand against his back. "L-Loki..." She wasn't sure if these people would hurt her escort or not, but she quickly realized that the men were not match for Loki. He attacked them with his dagger, then somehow created an illusion of himself for a moment.

There were two of him!

Letting out a small yelp of surprise, Della took a couple steps back and tripped over her feet, eyes wide with shock. She ended up falling back on her behind before she scooted away from Loki. She was almost as startled as the bandits had been. "H-How in the world did you do that!?" she questioned him, eyes still wide.

Loki looked at her, forgetting that he wasn't on Asgard and he couldn't just use his magic at will without it freaking people out. "Well I did tell you I was a god did I not? That is one of my powers, my many powers. I am a magic user," Loki explained to her and held out his hand. "I promise I am not going to harm you."

Della scooted back from Loki when he offered his hand to her at first, unsure what to think of him. He wouldn't hurt her, would he? He was very powerful, but then again, if he really had intended to hurt her he probably would have done it already. He surely had the power to do so. Della just didn't understand why a god would help her. Hesitantly, Della reached out and took his hand to slowly stand up. "S-So you're really a god then? Why would a god with power like you want to help a human like me?" she asked.

"Because I am suppose to, my mother always told me that when someone is in need I should help them." Loki responded, "I am really sorry if I frightened you I forgot that humans aren't use to seeing magic." Loki laughed lightly, "but now you know I can handle this task."
