=====================================================================================
In the year 2020, the inevitable destruction of humanity looms. Terrorism and wars are at an all time high, a state of anarchy is spreading across the globe like wildfire, and villains from lore and legend are emerging to attack innocent people throughout the globe, each striving to establish their own domain. The god's themselves have become divided, with one side supporting the chaos and feeding it, and yet another side opposed to it, then with a third neutral party, determined to let the other gods hash the battle out, and fix whatever is left.

The evil gods have been the ones summoning the villains from myth and legend to battle. Those such as Morgan Le fay, Mordred, and Vlad the Impaler being among them.

However, the gods who have sided with the good have begun drawing heroes from the past to battle these villains. Heroes such as King Arthur, Lancelot, Merlin, and other members of the great legends of heroes are emerging to do battle with the great evil that besets the world. These heroes have been given newer, younger reincarnated forms, and sent to a place known as the Hero's Banquet Hall, an uninhabited island which has been repurposed to serve as a training and staging area for the new force of heroes.

Together with regular soldiers from the nations of the NATO pact, the Heroes of the past have been preparing to take the battle once more to the enemy. Only one side can win. Order or Chaos.

Hello, I have a few things I'd like you to know before you continue any further.

First off, this rp has minimum requirement of one paragraph (5-7 complete sentences) per post with a character, so if your not willing to satisfy that condition, my recommendation is to go ahead and click out, it just isn't worth wasting your time.

On that note however, assuming you do create a character it is important to note that it becomes "canon"
permanently, even if you leave this rp and vow never to return to it, please understand that I will be using them as a GM tool from there on out. If you don't think you could handle someone else using your creation after you leave, it's probably best not to look past here.

On a third note, as there will be minors involved, there will be a zero tolerance for any libertine type roleplaying. That isn't to say you don't have your cutesy hand holding, and maybe up to a bit of kissing, but for goodness sakes, if you wouldn't want your mother to read it, don't put it here.

And on a fourth and final note, there will never be a limited amount to the amount of rpers that are capable of
participating in this rp.

Thanks for reading.

Rules:
  1. The usual Iwaku rules
  2. No metagaming, godmodding, or creating Mary Sue characters. (I believe this is self explanatory)
  3. As stated in the disclaimer, always make certain you have a minimum of one paragraph (5-7 complete sentences) in your posts. However, i'd also like for it to be good quality as well, don't just shitpost, even if it takes you a bit to post
  4. If you plan to curse, do it sparingly, or if you plan to make a character that falls under the "CursesAlltheTimeforNoParticularReason" category, make sure it's a light swearing, avoid F-bombs, and higher tier swears. Because precision F-strikes work so much better.
  5. Include the name of your character at the top of your post, that way we know just whom your posting with. It should look like this:
Name of character

Post: posiknaonfonaksoif. oamsinf uanojkenf naiunf ksfn. inaoisnf inaosjnfolainnsf mia mniosnfais nnkvianmsof inaosjnf lkjkn kamsimf imai ijminmkajnso. kmiansijnf km iansi kmanjsnkfn im, kjnknajks.

  1. If you post in character, make sure you wait two posts before you go about posting again.
  2. IC drama should not become OOC drama, if you have a problem with a recent post or facts, or spotted something I missed, please make sure to notify me in pm, I will solve the problem accordingly.
  3. I feel as this is a very important thing to state, A GM's word is law. Please do not attempt to defy myself or any GM that I choose to work with me.
  4. Use common sense. If it isn't in the rules, but you think it's probably something you shouldn't do, don't do it. Better to ask me first.
  5. At the bottom of your character sheet please post a color of your choice to show you have read the rules.
  6. Good grammar and spelling is a must! If need be, you can run it by @conman2163, for help with spelling.

We have two systems for combat here. The first main one, which is the classic, on your honor, acknowledge the hits your opponent makes system, and a secondary optional system, that if given a majority vote in favor, allows the system to be used, the system is as follows

Combat Hit System

To keep things fair and ensure no problems occur out of people going back and forth attacking, The person who initiates an attack will roll a single die, using the "more options" tab, in the OOC in a post they make there. The number you roll will determine if it the attack lands, and if it lands, whether or not you get the full hit you describe. For these purposes, there will be no "one hit KO" unless the person taking the hit wants it to end that way, however, successive hits will mean that you are forcibly incapacitated by the GM if you don't acknowledge the damage. (The human body can only do so much ya know?) What you roll determines what you get, and this is the scale.

1 = a Critical Fail

2-5 = Fails how you interpret this fail is up to you

6-10 = You got it, but missed some details or something, what is missed is determined by defender, though it can't be too many things.

11-15= This is the middle of the road, little to no failure

16-19 = Little to no failure

20= Epic Moment

The person who makes the attack can roll a die, determining whether or not that hit lands. However, to keep everything equal, if the number that the person who attacking rolls is undesireable. Say they got an epic moment, the person defending from the hit may "reroll" the die in the OOC. However, the number that is rolled will take a +3 penalty modifier, meaning that even if you roll high, it could still have a chance to take you up on the scale, and therefor hurt you. Risk = Reward but Risk = Penalty too.

Prior to creating your character, check the bottom of this sticky post to see what legends and myths have been taken. In this RP, all legends and mystical heroes in every existing religion and lore exist. Please avoid any "Biblical" Type heroes though, I will not approve them to prevent arguments.

Appearance: (A preferably anime, fantasy, or drawn type picture, though I suppose a "Real Person" picture will do.)

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Weapon/tool: (It doesn't have to be something that harms someone else. Maybe you can support someone/something with your weapon? Maybe you have a weapon already associated with your character?)

Power: (This ability should start of as relatively low in power for plot and advancement reasons. Plot wise your character was just summoned from the afterlife to fight in a war, and them being summoned will take a lot out of them. They'll have to work their way up. If you'd like an example starting power, this would be it:

Subject A has the ability to summon fireballs at will. They can summon and throw up to three of these fireballs in a single post. However, summoning these fireballs takes a lot out of them, so they can only summon a maximum of twelve in a single battle)

Skills: (Are you a good tactician? Are you great at counting cards? Perhaps you are a great cook?)

Personality: Minimum of twenty words please.

Bio/legend: (You do not have to use a person from a legend if you don't want. You can create your own original character; a legend from the future or present, here as well. If you choose this route a bio with a minimum of 40 words is needed. If not, a link of the legend will suffice)

So it may be confusing over how your character will get more powerful. When you character trains under his/her respective founder, after the end of each training session I will post a list of characters that are eligible for being upgraded power wise. Every time you upgrade you character you can choose either to add an extra ability that must start out on a base level, or to choose to up your current power a bit. So if you had a character who was able to throw fireballs to start with goes up in experience, no instead of just throwing one, maybe they can throw four, or if they could already throw multiple, maybe now they explode on contact with a surface.

It sounds a bit confusing now, but if you have more questions I'll answer them when the time comes for you to "upgrade" your character (Or just PM me of course), you'll post the following when you get to upgrade or add an extra ability.

Previous Power:

Upgraded power/ Added Ability:

Then from there I'll approve it or ask you to modify it.
But once again, you won't need to worry about it in the beginning. (Not that the "beginning" will last too long)

Holy crap this is probably one of the few sheets that I spent extensive hours in preparing. There was sooooo much research that went into this.... Hope this works.

Appearance:
Lugh.png

Name:

[BCOLOR=#000000]Lugh Lámhfhada[/BCOLOR]

Age:

Unknown (Looks around late 20 early 30)

Gender:

Male

Weapon/tool:

Failinis- Lugh's spear. It has various powers including becoming humanoid and sentient. As a human, it acts as his servant.
6ftblackdtragonspear_540.jpg

Tathlum- His sling, Fires magical projectiles that are almost like a railgun when fully charged.

slingshot.jpg

Power:

Summoning- Lugh has the ability to summon Failinis to come to his aid.

Balor's Throw- Lugh charges up his sling and chucks with full force, able to destroy most objects in its path. Can only use it one before losing all of his strength. Con only use it about once per few days.

Inhuman speed and strength: Faster and stronger than the average human being.

Skills:

Master craftsman and blacksmith as well as an excellent leader in the military and politics. Skilled in all forms of fighting but it more proficient with his spear and sling.

Personality:

Lugh is a mild and soft-spoken person. His patience is one of his key traits. He can handle any sort of insult or annoyance with the utmost respect and honor. He even holds back until it is absolutely necessary to engage in combat. The only time he does lose his patience is when someone who deserves respect is mistreated or someone is an obvious threat. Lugh also refrains from fighting, trusting in others like Failinis to fight on his behalf. This is not a trait of laziness, instead is a mix of an act of mercy for the person on the other side and a total trust in others. He has one giant softspot for humans as they are much weaker than him. He doesn't hold their strength against them, but tries to be on their level.

Bio/legend:

(Note this is not even close to the real legend of Lugh, instead it is a fun spin on the story.)

Before Lugh was born, his grandfather, Balor ruler of the Formians (modern day Ireland), received a prophecy that he would be killed by his one of his grandchildren. So to prevent such a thing from occurring, he had his daughter cast to an island away from man. However, a man wandered on the island, had a bit too much fun, making the daughter pregnant with triplets. On hearing this, Balor had the poor man executed and had the triplets drowned in a nearby river. All but one survived, floating all the way back to his waiting mother. That baby was Lugh. His mother, to protect him, had him raised with his uncle who was a blacksmith.

When Lugh came of age, his mother sent him back to his grandfather to kill him and become the new ruler of the Formians. Alongside his trusted hound Failinis and wielding a magical spear given to him by his mother, Lugh marched alone to Balor. However Balor had a nasty curse on his that gave him a third eye that when looked at, fatally poisoned a person. He used his eye to poison Failinis and in retaliation Lugh used a sling and a stone to smash Balor's eye in, killing him. Sadly Failinis died, but in return for defeating Balor, a local wizard fused the dying dog's soul into Lugh's spear which revived the dog into the form of a human woman. But such revival came with a curse as her soul was eternally tied to Lugh's and she would forever be in his service.

Years into the future, after almost 40 years of ruling, he was assassinated by a group of vengeful sons who forcefully drowned.

Name:

Failinis "Nis"

Age:

Looks 20

Gender:

Female

Weapon/tool:

She is part weapon and her limbs act as sharp blades for fighting.

Power:

She has the ability to move quickly, faster than a normal person. With enough momentum it almost seems like she is flying.

Skills:

Amazing cook and a pretty decent servant.
Skilled fighter specializing in hand to hand combat.
Invulnerable to most normal attacks e.g. guns or normal arrows

Personality:

Nis has a bubbly personality for a spear/human. She loves talking and being on the move. Her one true love is her master, Lugh, and she will do anything for him... Anything. Her demeanor changes when she is with her Master in public and when she fights for him. (She also has a sort of yandere-ish type personality when it comes to Lugh.)

Bio/legend:

Failinis was Lugh's trusted hound for the first part of his life. After the fateful battle with Balnor where she died, she was turned into a human who could turn into a spear... Weird... During Lugh's reign she served as his right hand spear/man and was even his servant. However, when Lugh died, she remained on earth, unaging. She waited for almost 2000 years for her master's return. After the 100 Years' War, she no longer stayed in her human form, instead remaining in her spear form. Recently, she has spent the past decade in the British Museum in London as part of their "Ancient Ireland" exhibit.

Also I'm surprised I got the first sheet up.

PS @conman2163 I think you might have some stuff from EI in the rules about powering up.....

Well it's because he didn't respond to the question. Are we dressed like modern day cosplayers or are we modern people?

I was legitimately going to do a reincarnation of Ambros. Not literally Ambros.

@Clyde

Actually, as far as what characters will be wearing, it will be from whatever time they are plucked out of. So yes, it could.

@Ramboing

Both are approved, brilliant job mate.

Also the E.I. stuff in the rules thing is noted and will be dealt with.

@Kurogane86

Just make abilities related to his bow or sword, he was remarkably skilled with both

@SoleStride

Just pick a legend, any legend, with a hero. A good example would be Oddyseus from the Odyssey (Hope I spelt that right)

Thanks man. Glad that work was not futile.

So how are we going to start? Are the heroes going to be established or are they going to just be reincarnated. It would be interesting to see them just do a huge reveal to the NATO and have some introductions then.

Well there really isn't going to be a special reveal with Ambros, considering the history I'm about to come up with

Basically I was thinking that the first post be the initial reincarnation of the heroes before the attacks happen. Then it skips a year for "training." Then the attacks by evil begin to happen so all the heroes show up at NATO and are like "Sup? We've been here for a bit and are here to help!"

Thats just what I was thinking personally. Its GM's choice though

Name: Saragnayan.

Age: 56

Gender:Male

Weapon:His proficiency in magic, the claws of his dark armour, and his demonic pet.

attachment.php

Saragnayan is a master of dark magic, and he utilises this to an incredible degree. He can create a dark armour with various thorns emerging from it, as well as bladed fingers. This dark armour is solidified shadow, which is extremely durable. It gleams underneath light, and it has the same appearance as an armour of obsidian or onyx, while having the strength of diamond or titanium. With this armour, and even Saragnayan's dark skin, it is near impossible to see him at night. Only his wispy thin hair and eyes, which are as white and as bright as the moon itself, may give him away.

princess-5.png

Saragnayan's legend speaks of a large boar which houses the demigod's heart. That way, Saragnayan is virtually immortal, unless his demonic pet is attacked. Saragnayan has cursed this mammalian vessel with countless demonic worms, enabling it to better protect itself, and in turn Saragnayan, from harm. This boar is about the size of a small car, is riddled with demonic parasites, and has nigh-indestructible tusks. Saragnayan's heart is encased within it, and to further protect his master's heart, the boar has layers upon layers of skeletal amor in its chest.

Power:

Saragnayan is a demigod specialising in dark magic. He is also physically powerful, and is virtually immortal––the reason being his heart, his only weakness, is found within a large, demonic boar. Even he himself is large, standing at 7'0" and weighing 600 pounds of muscle. From the pores of his skin, small wisps of smoke seep through.

latest

He can create a maximum of three, devastating spheres of darkness which he can launch. Enemies struck by his dark orb are then blinded temporarily, disabling their sense of sight and instead allowing them to see nothing but darkness. They also feel dreadfully cold. As a corollary to seeing nothing but darkness, they are subject to feeling great fear. Saragnayan can only blast this thrice, and doing so disallows him from summoning his dark armour.

Dice with a maximum of 6 faces:
1–The shadow ball sparks in Saragnayan's palm, but fades into non-existence shortly thereafter.
2–Saragnayan throws his shadow ball and does minimum damage.
3–Damage and blinding for 1 post.
4–Damage, blinding, and feeling of extreme cold for 1 post.
5–Damage, blinding, and feeling of extreme cold for 2 posts.
6–Explosive damage, blinding, feeling extreme cold, and experiencing one's own fear for 2 posts.

Possible battle outcomes:
1–The shadow ball sparks in Saragnayan's palm, but fades into non-existence shortly thereafter.
2-5–The shadow ball sparks in Saragnayan's palm, but as the demigod throws this, he misses.
6-10–Saragnayan throws his shadow ball and does minimum damage.
11-15–Damage and blinding for about 15 seconds.
16-19–Damage, blinding, and feeling of extreme cold for about 30 seconds.
20–Explosive damage, blinding, feeling extreme cold, and experiencing one's own fear for 45 seconds.

Skills:
Saragnayan is cunning and deceptive. He is an expert in the mystical arts, as well as martial arts and weight lifting. Originally a family man, Saragnayan is actually very sweet, and is creative. He is adept in woodworks, building houses, hunting animals, and even making artistic gifts for his late wife. He utilises his massive strength to sculpt rock and other malleable materials.

Personality:
Although anti-social and is depicted as a villain in the legend from which he comes, Saragnayan is, in truth, extremely misunderstood. His power, though evil, is always used to protect his wife Malitong Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata. In a time where polygamy was the norm, Saragnayan exercised a sense of true and benevolent loyalty to his beloved. The "hero" of the legend, the fabled Labaw Donggon, actually killed the reclusive demigod of darkness simply because he desired the latter's wife. Because of this, Saragnayan is extremely volatile and aggressive. Admittedly, he harbours feelings of great vengeance, but desires not to harm the totally pure and innocent. In spite of being baptised as the God or Demigod of Darkness in Philippine legend, he is also connected to extreme loyalty and faith to one's friends, family, and beloved.

Bio/legend:

Saragnayan is depicted as the antagonist of the Philippine epic "Hinilawod," one of the world's longest epic tales. In the legend, Saragnayan was born from a human woman and primordial chaos. He lived in the lightless, eternally dark lands of Gadlum, where he lived with his wife, Malitong Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata, whom he guarded and protected with extreme vigilance. He believed that, because of her ethereal beauty, a beauty far greater than any women in the world, many men would kill him and steal his wife. Because of this, Saragnayan practiced dark and fearful magic, believing that if he controlled demons and what the masses feared, none would ever harm his family. His wife too lived in peace, and despite Saragnayan's ugly appearance, fell in love with his heart. One day, to acquire immortality, he cut his own heart and put it inside a wild boar, which he set free in an enchanted forest. As the years went by, the wild boar grew corrupted by Saragnayan's dark, albeit benevolent heart, giving it strength and a monstrous appearance. His rival, Labaw Donggon, had already saved two maidens from the hands of two demonic lords. Thinking that Saragnayan's wife was actually his prisoner, he set out to take Malitong Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata for himself as his third wife. Saragnayan and Labaw Donggon did battle, and the latter was drowned in the sea for seven years. While submerged, Labaw Donggon's two sons Asu Mangga and Buyung Baranugan hunted and killed the demonic boar, weakening Saragnayan and disabling his immortality. In the end, the dark demigod was killed, and Malitong Yawa Sinagmaling Diwata was unwillingly taken as Labaw Donggon's third wife.

Likes and Dislikes:
Saragnayan is a fan of the stillness of the night. He likes places that are cold and damp. His favourite food is meat, although he detests fish for their bones. Memoirs of his wife, such as pictures and paintings give him solace. The things about 2020 he likes are sunglasses, as they bring a sort of artificial "darkness" even in the midst of sunlight. He is also protective of his pet not because he loves it, but because it houses the very reason he lives. Despite his strength, he cares not for fighting. He would much rather train on his own than in the battlefield. Saragnayan is neutral when it comes to suffering, believing that the greater good is worth every casualty, injustice, and act of villainy. He hates being pestered by others, and he is especially angered when the image or memory of his wife is spoken in vain or marred by the uneducated.

[BCOLOR=transparent]Die Geschichte wird von siegreichen Könige geschrieben[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent][*Translation; History is written by victorious Kings][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]They were called, to the country men of Germany as the Mystisch Hügel [Mystical Hills], though no human set foot in the distance of hills shrouded in frigid, unnatural fog created by a magic that no man could harness. They called the kingdom that hid behind the fog Alavan and the people who lived in this kingdom Elfey, though no human would have any history of how these people appeared or looked like. While some European myths spoke of tiny little creatures who played tricks on people, others depicted them as humanoid people with pointy ears who lived in kingdoms of old. Both were right in some retrospectives. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Though the Elfey were not in common with the elven folk we speak of today. Instead the Elfey were more like their namesake, Tuatha or simple fey folk, given a name from a human perspective that did not understand nor had breached the magic of the Mystisch Hügel. Powerful magicians, who were able to move their kingdoms from place to place, whole kingdoms vanishing before the human's eyes. Said to live in vibrant forest, of colors that were not natural in the human world, but only natural because they were fed magical sources. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]And as up to the recent centuries, no one had any real confirmation that the Elfey even existed or that Alavan existed. Till some hikers in 2004 discovered a historical document in the forest. First thought as a piece of human history, it accounted a piece of the Elfey history and must have been accidentally left behind. Fallen from a caravan's back or the backpack of a scribe. Still it was a significant find, and some adventurous humans have sought Alavan.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros Geschichte von Katastrophe [Tales of Disaster] - Geschichten von Kunst und Leben [Tales of Art and Life][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]The Elfey live through their tales, and each exist within the folds of hundreds of years through pages of their own tale. Once Ambros would have been described through his own history as a beautiful, albino being, with butterfly lashes and ruby red eyes. His skin was ashen and gray, with platinum blond hair, and a rosary of leaves and flowers as a crown around his head. Wearing the vestments of royalty, his brother was jealous of his younger brother.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]
1zwoweh.jpg
[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Except that the document found would not be the first time found of the Alavan. Once the story is read a Hero or Fallen Hero at that emerges from the pages. In Human history Ambros would have been described as a strange young man with potent abilities that no mortal would or could carry. Magically embraced it showed in his fea like and human features.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]
e13i28.jpg
[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]And it would not be the first time Ambros was discarded and ripped out of the pages of his own story. Living as a reincarnation of himself, Ambro had hid well into the human society. Modifying himself as a young man with snow white skin, sharp blue eyes and blond platinum hair. He often wears hooded sweaters with nice fitting pants and dress shoes. In 2020 this is his appearance.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]He stands at 5'4" and weighs less than his human counterparts, even though he is mortal he weighs at 100 pounds.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Name: Aubrey Weiss [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Age: Approximately 24, though technically he is centuries of old [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Gender: Male [yes he's male][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Personality:[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]He was known as the Prinz von Kunst und Leben [Prince of Art and Life], though now formerly known as the Prinz von Katastrophe [Prince of Disaster] he was described as tales of art and life, tales of compassion and kindness, tales of personal sacrifice and above all else putting oneself behind the ideas of others. He taught lessons of forgiveness, but he was also a practitioner of art, having a two tales of music written based off of him and his philosophies of life. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros was described as a very carrying and loving individual, putting the love of all things above all else. Above war or even fighting in itself. His Counsel spoke of pacifism and was said to have taken down an army's will to fight by simply winning the war with words and logic rather than with violence. Though Ambros was described as being one of the most powerful Prince's to succeed the throne. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]His compassion did not simply extend to living creatures, but he had compassion for all life and even the dead. He was said to have felt deeply for even the poorest of deaths, known to raise armies of the dead for his own use. Usually resurrecting soldiers not ready to move on, though said to also resurrect the bodies of dead animals and other creatures.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros did not like disease or death, he was said to have brought back plant life back from the dead as well. Managing to spring back forth life. It was said once he cured a blight that struck the trees. His personal relationships were spoken dearly of as well. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros did not hate his brother, or he use to not hate his brother. In fact he loved his older brotherly dearly, putting many of his own needs before his brother and never sought to seek any power his brother sought. Only really known to clean up after his brother's wars by bringing back the dead soldiers that died under his brother's orders.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Though maybe now though Ambros cannot speak so highly of his brother, and perhaps maybe he's a little scared his brother may be resurrected from the stories of old. Despite still being a kind and compassionate soul, Ambros has grown defensive over the years, guarded. He is not an introvert, but he doesn't trust others as much as he use to.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Seeing as he has been taken advantage of before in the past. And hurt deeply as well having to relive the same tale for hundreds of years. Sadly Ambros sometimes wishes for a different tale, though being an Elfey means that he cannot change the narrative of his stories once the pages of fate have written it down.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]He is not a believer in love, but he still believes in peace. Though he is more willing to break personal morals and fight more openly in wars. He took the responsibility of the prince of disaster because it was what the Fate Pages had written for him.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]It is that Ambros cannot derive from what has been written, he is still his independent self. Partaking in the art of the human world, and partaking in the joy of life. He's still soft natured, trustworthy. Though the damage of the history written makes him come off as dark and sinister.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]He can now be cold and maybe a bit more morally ambiguous than he was. No longer preaching the same practices of peace that he once did. He cannot love, for his fated love was taken from him, repeating a hundred centuries old tale over and over again with him.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Living as a human Ambros has come to find he likes certain features his own kind did not have, their music is fascinating, their rich and intricate lives are complex and interesting. Secretly he's found companionship because many of the humans have not read the darkness that lies in Ambros' Fate Pages.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]He still dislikes death, sickness, and illness, he hates suffering of any kind and tries to rectify the situation as best as he can to the best of his abilities. He hates being weaker than what he once was in the tales of old.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Once a powerful practitioner of raising the dead, Ambros is left only with a few of the powers he once had. Okay none of the powers he once had, left weak and vulnerable in a mortal's body with the knowledge and power of centuries. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Still being a Prince of Arts. Ambros is able to play a flute that puts his enemies to sleep for X amount of minutes, X being dependent on the grace of the gods i.e. the die rolls.[/BCOLOR]

A 1 the spell does not go off.

[BCOLOR=transparent]2-5 = only 10 to 15 seconds, the enemies will be mostly half asleep[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]6-10 = only 20 to 30 seconds, the enemies will be in a more powerful state of sleep, but can still be woken up by an attack[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]11-15 = 30 seconds to 40 seconds, the enemies will be asleep, but can be woken up when they are attacked[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]16-19 = 40 seconds to 50 seconds, the enemies will be asleep, slight possibility of being woken up by an attack[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Weapon:[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Symios toh Vasha Almas [Elfey for The Symbol of Tales][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]This simple wand is the symbol of those of royal line, of the old kings, and acts like a king's scepter. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros Symios is made of polished wood, and of crystals and gems he found on his own before his crowning ceremony at a very young age, the princes of the old thrones must seek out their own materials for a wand. But only the royal heritage are given wands.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros wand gives him minor protection from damaging stricts. Such as reflecting spells or reflecting physical damage when he raises it towards an attack. The wand can be used in this manner for as long as he likes. [depending on how good the roll is to block an attack][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]And he can cast a single force field, once per day, from the wander for 50 seconds, that protects anyone around him in a shield from damage or spells. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Tool:[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Flöte grimmiger Ernte [Flute of Grim Harvest][/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]One of the few artifacts that Ambros was able to keep in his now mortal life, the flute is a magical item that he imbues with his own magic. He cast spells through the flute and does not speak the spells as some magical users might speak the name of their spells to cast.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]The Flute of Grim Harvest is a strange and unique looking flute, as it is made of glass and jewels. It certainly looks like the lost artifact of royalty. With ruby red gems as the reeds.[/BCOLOR]

Skills:

Musical; Ambros is extremely musical, he is a great composer and he spellcrafts through musical composition. It is said the notes on the page are actually secret codes for him to read his spells without his enemies knowing his spells.

Cooking; Being in the human world Ambros has learned how to cook for himself and he's pretty decent at it. It's a bit like spellcrafting which makes it easy for him to combine ingredients together.

[BCOLOR=transparent]The Elfey's life are tied to what they call the Fate Pages [Oshani Schreiben] the moment they are born, Gods of destiny begin to write their tales in the Fee Tal [Fairy Valley] the Elfey do not die, instead when they expire their soul is lifted directly from their bodies and their souls are bound into the Oshani Schreiben. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]The Elfey are then resurrected by the Gods to retell the story of the Elfey. In an essence the Elfey are immortal until they raise their own children. When the tale comes to an end it is usually due to the birth of their young, who take the spirit life of their parents, whose stories end when the Elfey are old enough to replace their parents, thirteen years of age. Though they do not age and mature as humans do, since their lifespan is lived for centuries and is tied to the seasons. The Elfey's tales that are told are based on the seasons they govern. Ambros and his brother were Princes of Winter and their story was told every Winter after their passing. It begins with the Tales of Art and Life and spirals into the Tales of the Prince of Disaster.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Though their births are never retold. The Elfey are reproductive, but there are never an infinite amount of their lives. The ink that writes their tale is their single soul.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Tales of Art and Life [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros life began as the son of the Old King of Winter Ailell and his mother Old Queen of Winter Siofra. His brother was Kaiser Prince of Winter, Tales of Tactic and Strategy. His birth was praised and celebrated with a festival of welcoming to the new blood of royalty. All though Ambros was too young to remember the festivals themselves, he was given gifts as a baby to praise and celebrate him. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]The tales speak of Ambros getting along well with Kaiser, even if Kaiser was not so receptive of his younger brother. Kaiser suffering from typical, I was here first mentality. It was their mother who truly died first, when Kaiser turned thirteen years of age thirteen Winters later. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]While their father died thirteen Winters later when Ambros turned thirteen winters. It was then their parents tales were finished and the two brothers would begin to write their tales of how they would become a king of the Old Thrones.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Each brother was given half of the kingdom of Alavan to rule over as High Princes, till one would marry a Queen and rule the Kingdom. Till the other married and ruled the Kingdom. Alternating winters between the two brothers and writing their legends and tales.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]It was clear though that Kaiser and Ambros were different rules. Ambros was kind and compassionate and cared for all life. While Kaiser did not care much for Ambros, invading his brother's half of the Kingdom. Pushing his brothers territory further and further back for several Winters. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Ambros and Kaiser were constantly in war, generally a decision made on Kaiser's part. Though one fifteen winters later, something in their story changed. Instead of a war of land and territory, there was a war of the heart.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Nafina the Princess of Summer ended up wandering in their tale told. She was beautiful, spoken to have sun golden skin, which was kissed by a sparkling embrace to her skin whenever sunlight hit her skin. Kaiser was clearly smitten with Nafina. While Ambros was simply glad his kingdom was not being attacked.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Nafina for four winters visited both brothers quite often. Though it was told she grew bored of Kaiser's "epic tales" of war. Because they were often then not tales of how he beat his brother. She grew more and more interested in Ambros. His music and his compassion won her over. While it won her over, Nafina's own culture of Summer intrigued Ambros.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Till one day blessed by fate, he was pulled into the tales of Summer, and brought to the bright, warm, world of sun, green trees, and the summer season of Alavan. Nafina Tales of Love and Discipline, she showed him the wonders of Summer. It was then that Ambros and Nafina fell in love with each other, showing, and sharing culture together.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]It would have been told Ambros may have wedded a Queen before his brother Kaiser. Though one Winter Kaiser decided that he could not have his younger brother wedding a Queen before him. Especially Nafina who he was quite fond of, even if they did not share a bond.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]One Winter he snuck into Ambros' side kingdom, using bribery of a guard friend, Kaiser managed to sneak into Ambros' chambers. He kidnapped Nafina. When she woke up, she was held captive of her will in Kaiser's room. Where he raped her and told her if she did not wed him, he would find a way into the Fee Tal and burn Ambros' book. [/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]To protect Ambros, Nafina agreed upon wedding Kaiser. Kaiser became king of the Old Throne three Winters shortly after. And with his newfound power, banished, and stripped his brother of power by making up allegations that it was his brother that had raped Nafina three Winters ago and his newfound wife had disclosed this information.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Tales of Disaster[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]From their the Prince of Disaster was born. Kaiser kept writing history of Ambros' horrible deeds. Disclosing secret information of how and why he had attacked Ambros kingdom so many times. Not only had it been said Ambros had raped Nafina, but it was said that Ambros had bribed Kaiser's guards to spy on him.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Allegations of Ambros threatening his brother. Ambros sending assassins to kill his brother. Though none of this true, Kaiser used overwhelming amounts of charisma, and cunning to have Ambros flee to the Swamps of Winter.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]There Ambros became prince of the dead. He was now associated with necromancer and horrible, dark arts. He was now associated with fear and hatred, instead of life. And Ambros himself fell into despair, turning the swamps into his own kingdom and defending it from any invaders who dare venture in.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Often it was lost and unexpected humans who wandered in. Though Ambros let his grief get the best of him, hiding and becoming sullen for many Winters. Repeating the same dark tale of lost. Nafina became an obsession, and no longer love.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Contacts with the Humans[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]The Humans would never understand the power of the stories of the Fee Tal. When they stumbled upon the cryptic, and unusual books of the Fee Tal, well the books that were lost to the Elfey kind or were purposely forgotten. When the first humans of the medieval ages read the stories of the Fee Tal they summoned the first human reincarnation of Ambros.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Described as a rainbow of beauty. He was a dragon tamer and a healer. He was a protector and kindred to the humans. Who shared culture and were curious to his origins. Though Ambros quickly grew sullen with this human world. For one it no longer had Nafina, and he sought no other companionship. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]He did for a short time fall in love with a human female named Sofia. Though it did not last long when he was told to duel a noble human for stealing the woman of his dreams. It seemed love was not in the fates for Ambros.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]This version of Ambros died shortly after the human Winter left, as his kind usually did. To die and be reborn like the seasons again. And again Ambros had to retell his story, in the swamps, before he came into contact with humans centuries, hundreds of years later.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]In 2018 Ambros was once again brought back as a human reincarnation of himself once again. Though there was something different about this. The strength of the Fee Tal had waned, perhaps because Ambros book had been discarded for so long. He was weaker, a mortal still with powers though. [/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]The humans were certainly weirded out by this. And so was he. Though he grew another kindred with them, and they allowed him to wander. He took on the name Aubrey when he was told he would need to become a citizen.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]It was the first time he was free not to relive the tale nor had he died in the Winter. It seems he may be stuck as a heroic mortal. Who has now been pulled into the fate of War. Something Ambros had greatly disdain from years ago. Yet willing to help.[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Theme Song:[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Tales of Art and Life[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Kaiser I wish I could reach out to you. I wish there was some way I could share you my love and compassion, even when you hurt me so.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]
[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]Tales of Disaster[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Nafina my sweet, I wish I could go to sleep and wake up embrace by Summer.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]
[/BCOLOR]

[BCOLOR=transparent]New Beginnings of Human Tales[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Strange it seems to me to be severed from the connection of tales I had been living my whole life.[/BCOLOR]

Imma need some time to research what hero imma go with.

Ugh. My brain is too dead for this. I'm going to withdraw (Got too much crap going with medical and work life). I would like to watch the rp though so I'ma just creep and watch if no one minds.

@Damien Kriez @Clyde

Both are approved. Your excellence shows in your work, I commend both of you for your amazing effort.

@Ramboing

Actually, the Heroes are going to be summoned straight into an event. I won't actually have a character in the RP until the completion of said event, and will be running NPCs and antagonists until then. The stuff I have prepared will be great, trust me.

Also, to everyone involved, it should be noted that you characters should look sort of OP, after all, they are heroes going up against equally evil villains,

"I did not wish to be a hero, I simply wanted to see the sky."

Name: "Laoch Dearmad Déanta" Deanta

Age: Unknown

Gender: Male

Weapon/tool: A hand and half sword, and spear all made from a forgotten material only known as stargazer steel. He is also equipped with light armor and a cape that is imbued with special abilities as well.

Power: As the gods have both blessed and cursed Deanta, his weapons and armor are what have made him such a powerful warrior. His armor is responsible for making him fierce not because of protective qualities, but because it allows him speed twice that of a regular human. His sword is blessed with the ability to be light as a willow wand and sturdier than any steel, never dulling nor breaking. His Spear is also as light as a willow wand and is made to withstand even the heaviest of impacts and never shatter. He also carries with him a spartan looking round shield made of the same stuff as his sword and spear. It has been blessed so that it never breaks under any blow. All of these weapons are able to be summoned and desummoned as well.

Skills: As a battle hardened veteran, Deanta has both the skills and ability to fight against multiple enemies.

Personality: He isn't nice, nor is he mean, he isn't cruel, nor is he kind. He is brave, and some would say mad. Having fought in a battle against thousands of enemies and died before, he is not afraid to face death again. His only wish is that he does not die alone, but with the bodies of his enemies lying slain besides him. Once a Hero, always a hero.

Bio/legend:
Laoch Dearmad Déanta
, or rather, simply Deanta. A man who appeared before humans to help them, protect them and fight for them. A man who was experienced by the sword and shield, and a master in blacksmithing as well. A man who protected the humans for years. A man.... who got trashed, insulted, despised and thrown out by these very same humans. A man who gave his life to protect them all anyway, who rose up to defend humanity as a whole, who stepped up to do the impossible! A man who died protecting mankind, allowing it to live on! A man... who was forgotten within a year, left deep inside the earth, dead, sacrificed, an unnamed monument serving as his grave, on top of where he died, in an abandoned cave underneath the pacific Ocean.... this is the story of Deanta.

To explain his story we go back a few millenia, when humans were forced to live under the Earth, as there was no life available on top of it, brewing in a constant magma. the source of this all was the demon Firzakrieg, Whose touch could burn in you in seconds, and whose breath would make houses burn. Humans now living underground in caves and tunnels, have mostly resorted to meat for food, and the average person is highly skilled in blacksmithing, there was heat anywhere to be found after all.

Deanta was born in a family of blacksmiths, these were people who were very specialized in the subject, and thus highly wanted. His father and neighbors as teachers allowed him to learn a lot in a very small time, which eventually let to making his own weapons and selling them, being on par with his father at the age of seven.

As any kid, he loved going outside to explore, running through the caves, saying high to miners, chasing salamanders and enjoying the errr view... ish... basically just watching the lakes of magma, or the village, there weren't many other views. Their history books were filled of tales about countries covered in snow, a sky as blue as her eyes, which kept changing color as time went on. where humans lived on top of the earth, no roof above them, running in grass and living with animals, where water fell from the sky. These stories were what made Deanta dream of finding a way up some time, a way to see the skies of blue.

During one of his explorations he stumbled upon a strange rock. it gave of a blue glow, was quite big, yet not as heavy as it looked. He took it home and asked around in the village, yet to her surprise no one knew what it was.
Being intrigued by this rock, He decided to use it in his newest plan for a set of weapons. He later went back to dig up more of the mysterious rock.

After having spend a whole day at the furnace, melting the stone, shaping it, enforcing it, sharpening it, bending it and eventually finishing it, he looked at the set of weapons and armor, then smiled. He was happy with the result. It was a good material, and it looked incredibly durable, you could almost say it glows.

When he reached age 13 the unavoidable happened. The minions of Firazakieg came to pillage and loot. These minions were stronger than humans and as such, any resistance was futile, leaving the humans defenseless as their hard work got stolen. Deanta didn't agree with this however, he wouldn't just watch as her father's work got stolen and used by those despicable creatures. He grabbed his newly crafted weapon and started attacking them using the spear to keep them at a distance, and when they came closer he swapped to the sword and start slashing. To his, the minions, and the villagers surprise, the weapons he used sliced through the minions like butter, and he moved swifter then any human ever had. In a route and panic, the minions disappeared. After that incident he kept practicing with the weapon, finding more and more uses, and some dangerous ones as well. These fights happened a few times more, after which the minions in the local area got wiped out, the villagers dubbing him a hero
.
However, the village soon became cold. the magma disappeared, the air became heavy and the furnaces unusable. At this point the villagers turned to Deanta, it was all his fault and his weapons, driving away the minions who helped fuel the lava pools and changing their lives! They did adapt, creating other ways of keeping themselves heated, but their hatred to Deanta didn't change. Deanta had left by that time however, as his weapons allowed him to protect others and just maybe it would allow him a way out, up to the surface, up to those skies she loved, without ever having seen them.

She traveled through caves and tunnels, to other villages, protecting them from the minions. The name of Deanta spread fast through the underground world, and soon people started cheering as she arrived, helping her wipe-out the minions, providing him with food and drinks for the long road to the next place and sending him off with a smile, wishing him luck on him hopes of seeing the sky, although many thought he was crazy.

When the word came out from the first village however, on her age of 18, and the other village had also been struck by these events, the people started to hate her, detest her, driving her out with pitchforks when he arrived, throwing her bread to make her go away. Yeah he could've helped taking out those minions, but if there were no more minions, there was no more heat, and that would mean they'd have to change. They wouldn't see the skies ever again anyway, as long as Firzakrieg lived, so why would they have to adjust to a similar sort of environment anyway?

This released a spark inside Deanta. They wouldn't see the skies as long as Firzakrieg was alive, as he controlled that magma on the Earth. His goal was simple then: She would go and challenge Firzakieg, to free those people that detested him so much, to regain their trust and happiness. With that, he set out, the people hearing of his quest in villages let him in, but a bit doubtful. He wasn't allowed to stay long, just one night, then he'd get some things to help him get to his next location and was well, stared off, feeling the eyes burning in his back, not even the now cold air being able to rid him of the feeling.

His journey set on, across the globe, or rather within it. the caves and tunnels curling around, slowly turning around the center of the Earth, through these places him path lead him, dreaming of the skies she would see, until she arrived at her destination, a place so hot it was practically hell. He got rid of the minions who were guarding without much trouble, and soon found herself in front of Firzakrieg, the most troublesome enemy of all...
The battle that followed was fierce, it was loud, it was fast, yet lasted long, seemingly forever. Fire and magma being shot and thrown from one side, a shield blocking the blow from the other. the clashing of weapons echoing through the caves, the cries of pain from both sides being heard for miles. people were watching, though most were listening from a far distance, the battle that could change the fate of humanity, which was on the brink of being destroyed by these creatures.

The hope of these people disappeared however, when they saw and heard that the damage done to Deanta was bigger than the ones done by him. He was a human and he a demon, there was no way he could've won. those were the thoughts of all those people, who lost their hope in going back up.

Deanta however, wasn't done yet. He had one trick left up his sleeve, one ultimate move. He was in the middle of the room, broken, exhausted, bleeding, burned and at the end of his hope. As such,the gods took pity on him and his fight, and decided to assist him, if only for his efforts in saving the world. The gods summoned up the power that they had, and cast down to the area around Deanta, freezing over the whole area, Ice pillars showing up out of nowhere, the air freezing in its place, the fire frozen in a block of ice. The whole chamber they were fighting in had become a block of ice. This ice killed Firzakrieg, his flames having been put out, frozen. without these flames he couldn't live on, as such he died and disappeared, as did many minions. now left all alone, frozen and dead in the ice, was Deanta. The man who gave his life for mankind, who gave his life for those who detested him.

The man who got left in the cold.

The man who was always alone.

The man.... who never got to saw those skies he had always dreamed about....

The humans made their way to the surface, which had been cleared of the magma and instead turned into livable land. These humans embraced their new freedom with open arms, spreading around the land in joy, only a few left behind the stories of Deanta. The people hadn't mind his sacrifice, and forgotten about it within a year, only few stumbling upon the books, in the far end of libraries, telling the tale of Deanta, the forgotten hero who simply wanted to see the skies.

Centuries later, when the gods needed heroes to protect mankind, one god, who was a demon before, made one specific request. it was the only hero he really knew, and the only hero who had kept bothering him, he was the only one who he, Firzakrieg, could never forget, he who the gods froze over his hell for. Upon his request the god's tried to summon upon his spirit, yet his body was still in the caves, buried deep within, making them unable to bring him up. instead, Firzakrieg thought up a plan. if Deanta couldn't come up, then instead, he'd have to send someone down, and who better than heroes from the past that they were summoning?
